ASPD - Reduced To Being Subhuman
Do you know whats its like to be categorically excluded from being human?
Do you know how it feels to know, that no matter how much you work on yourself, no matter what you do, no matter how much you contain your urges and no matter how desperately you try to belong, your entire fucking species has already decided that you are not a part of them?
Its rejection on an uncomprehensible scale. A repetitive slap in the face at every corner. Barely being permitted to walk among them and never more than that.
Fake promises of letting you in, while never stopping to cast you out. Demands of your action and care, while keeping the possibility of actually doing it out of your reach. Its fucked.
"What seperates humans from other animals, is their ability to form deep bonds with others, work together on a big scale, feel deep empathy and care for one another and go against ones survival instinct to protect others out of love"
"If you don't feel empathy, you're not human"
"Art is what connects people, the deeply embedded emotions in it, that can only be felt and understood, if you have what it takes to be human. The ability to feel with others"
"The most important thing for humans is connection and community. Caring about each other, feeling for each other and not having any intentions to harm others"
"Those who harm others are sick and don't belong. They're not human, cus if they were, their empathy and guilt and morals would prevent them from doing it"
If the core of being a human is to feel with others, to care, to connect, to subscribe to morals and to experience all of these things on the regular, that suggests, that those who do not feel that and cannot do that, aren't human.
This would only be an assumption, if it wasn't fucking proven to us in every goddamn moment of our existence.
The world is full of the insistence that without empathy, without connection, without morals, you're not human. It starts with music and books circling around the concept and ends with people using a lack of empathy as an explanation for any depraved thing they can think of.
Its impossible to exist, to consume, to live, without being assaulted by lines and images that question your very right to exist and be a member of this species.
If your love isn't an emotional care for others, its not human.
If your friendship isn't based on deep emotional connection, its not human.
If your care isn't based on genuine distress at seeing the other upset/in pain, its not human.
If your activism isn't based on being emotionally appalled and angry and distressed about what you're seeing, its not human.
If your actions aren't based on morals that are important to you, they're not human.
If you cannot understand art and do not feel moved by books and songs and movies, you're not human.
If you wouldn't go out of your way to save others, you're not human.
If your apology isn't motivated by genuine remorse, its not human.
If your behavior change isn't motivated by genuine care and guilt, its not human.
Not human. Not human. Not human. Never fucking human.
Do you know that they call those who they perceive as not human? Monsters. Sick. Deranged. Insane.
Do you know what things they classify as monstrous and sick and deranged and insane?
• not feeling empathy
• not feeling remorse
• being aggressive
• feeling pleasure at other peoples suffering
• feeling pleasure at your own suffering
• making reckless impulsive decisions
• living in a different reality
• being able to handle and look at topics they find morally wrong
• being obsessed instead of feeling love
• lying and being manipulative
• breaking laws
• not thinking about other people's safety/health
• being self obsessed or grandiose
• mood swings/erractic mood
• and basically every other symptom of all the mh conditions
Its not just behaviors that could cause harm, that make you a monster in their eyes. Its your brain. Its who you are. You will never actually be human in their eyes, because you lack everything they require in order to see you as human.
They make that clear by defining healthy relationships with these human qualities.
They make that clear by having them be part of job descriptions.
They make that clear by having them as community guidelines and rules.
They make that clear by inserting them into laws and judging you based on them in court.
They make that clear by defining their prosocial society based on them.
Without the human qualities, you will never be their equal. You will never get to experience what they do, you can always just watch from the outside and imagine what it might be like.
They make fake promises, telling you, that if only you went to therapy, if only you changed, if only you took those meds, if only you just followed what they told...you would finally get to be human.
But no. They may pretend. They may accept the show you put on as barely passing, but their requirements will not change and you're still not meeting them. You're tolerated, not accepted.
And they still don't want you there. If they did, they wouldn't make therapy so hard to access, they wouldn't continue spreading the stigma in psych lectures, they wouldn't continue refusing you treatment, they wouldn't continue telling you that you're destined for prison, they wouldn't demand for the d*ath pentalty to be brought back for people like you.
If they truly wanted you there, they would change the requirements for what makes you a human being. They don't.
So you do the only thing that is left for you. Your only option.
You find comfort in sickness. You make yourself at home in your deranged insane mind. You embrace the monster.
You adjust to being aggressive first and anything else later. You grow comfortable with the demons in your brain suggesting violent ideas. You get used to your fascination with the morbid and wrong. You learn to tolerate the loneliness and absence of others and your own emotions. You grow okay with recklessly and impulsively ruining your and other peoples lifes every now and then.
You embrace who you are and maybe you push the boundaries and delve deeper into the sickness of your own mind. Cuddling up under blankets of new levels of violence. Resting on added defenses and removing yourself further and further from other peoples idea of what and who you should be.
It doesn't always stop the longing. You might still catch yourself desperately hoping that maybe you can change, maybe you will get to experience those things as deeply and humanely as others do. You might grow frustrated and angry with yourself when you can't. You might lie in anguish, tossing and turning while your brain throws insults at you and repeats how much of a failure you are for being subhuman, not wanted, not perfect.
But maybe the longing becomes less. Maybe you don't need to be angry with yourself quite as often. Maybe you can be understood by other monsters, by others who are sick and insane and deranged. Maybe you can finally talk freely about your thoughts and your emotions and your urges.
Maybe you didn't need to be human afterall. Maybe being a monster is enough.

house md rewatch: 1x22, "honeymoon"

somehow one of the show's tamest season finales still ended up rocking my world.
an episode full of actions speaking louder than words, making it an excellent season one send-off, if you ask me. this one has excellent synergy with the pilot, despite how radically things have changed in the last 21 installments. wilson agrees that house cares about him based on his actions, and in 1x22, house spends the whole episode working in spite of his words to express his love to stacy through caring for mark. even though he can't stand the guy. good one, david shore and co.
3 separate notes i want to make from the top of the episode:
have there always been at least 3 red mugs? i swear we've only seen 1 so far, but one of the earliest scenes showcases 3.
the first drugging incident is in the books! along with their goofy "you dosed me/them/him" lingo.
wilson immediately maxed out his season 1 hypocrisy scale when he told house to "treat the husband. stay away from the wife." just because you abandon your wife all the time does NOT make you the right person to distribute relationship advice. idiot.

my general thoughts on stacy are very positive - i cannot think of a better past love interest for house, nor can i think of anyone who could give a better performance than sela ward. the way she still fits in with house doesn't lessen house's strong characterization thus far, and her screen time feels interesting and warranted throughout. the way she shuts him down when he asks about potential infidelity here gives the instant impression that house cannot mess with her like he does with just about everyone else:

most importantly, what i like about stacy are the ways she problematizes the ethics, or lack thereof, that we've become adjusted to under the Greg House Regime. she strong-arms people all the time as a lawyer, but in a completely opposite venue as house. in her world, there are grey areas abound; she just has to navigate through them all to reach a favorable conclusion. from our experience in 1x21, this was a major point of contention between them, and i think it's a really clever way of showing 2 different life paths manifested in 2 wildly different people with similar moral codes.
but something doesn't sit right (intentionally so): are their understandings of, and respect for, patient autonomy the same?
that house never fights her on this point gives us a superficial answer, at least: yes. stacy demands that house make mark, her current husband, go through a highly dangerous test in the same way that house would have strong-armed any other patient into doing the same thing. he can't refute this point when she throws it in his face, and goes so far as to accuse house of wishing mark would die (more ofc to come of that later):

but, subliminally, there's 2 key differences at play here: stacy hasn't known house that much post-infarction, so she hasn't seen the full impact that her middle-ground medical decision had on him, and now she's advocating for the dangerous procedure, whereas amidst house's infarction, she wanted the more fool-proof, cautious option. they make a nod to the former point when she comments about house bouncing his cane: "some people would find that annoying."
i don't think stacy is aware of this irony - and who would be while their husband is dying of freak brain matter and nerve degeneration? she's operating from a place of love for mark and arguing - in a rather courtroom-esque way, begging house to forego the legal consequences - for him to do something drastic. when he gives in, we see a flash of house's most dangerous side.

this was the least surprising "plot twist" yet btw. house md writers i'm not idiot. i knew he had that Look in his eye and was gonna do it.
it's such a weird moment; house was choosing to be safe by not directly threatening mark's life with a dangerous test, but he was doing it out of selfishness. this highlights a persistent conflict of morals that reappears all over the show. these 2 make a pretty dangerous duo lol.
personally, i'd be lying if i said stacy's disregard for house's choice about his infarction didn't bother me, and i LOVE the discomfort that generates within me as a viewer. i have to hold house to that same standard, but we've been so endeared to his character over time that it's textually difficult to maintain that integrity. maybe it's something to do with how we're taught to consider house as god, too, no matter how often he fails us/the show emotionally? much to think about.
next, i want to highlight this moment of fellow solidarity:

this speaks louder than dozens of words ever could about where the fellows are at emotionally. despite the ways in which they're all like house and all the ways he's influenced them, they can still identify his tipping point. this in and of itself is a small act of love, i'd argue, and we can extrapolate that:
chase, despite being so deep in the shitter with house post-vogler, still cares enough for him to prevent him from making this crazy choice.
foreman hasn't been so corrupted by house as to abandon his morals; he's stood firm against the mini-house accusations by being so consistently upstanding.
cameron can see through house, like she's been trying to all along, and knows that a large chunk of his current motivations are not for mark's benefit.
they each have unique insights into house's breakdown in 1x22 based on their unique relationships to him, all condensed into this brief "three musketeers" formation. love to see it, the fruit of 22 episodes' worth of writerly labor.
circling back to stacy (sorry for how disorganized this recap is!), there's an interesting comparison to make between stacy and wilson's function in this episode. stacy enables house to act on his craziest, instinctive impulses, whereas wilson is demanding the exact opposite - that he keep everything repressed for the sake of the patient. ofc, the highest irony is that, had house done that, mark would have died. this episode doesn't feature wilson's enabling crimes (those haven't come up that much this season, i don't think), but more so acts as a precursor for what's to come on that front.

but i would be VERY REMISS if i didn't mention a scene that i had nearly forgotten about myself that had me open-mouthed, thinking about The Future of this show and of These Two:

something should go here about the sign above wilson's shoulder. very no-turning-back. a nod to how he's quite literally leaving his wife for house here?
wilson gets to do one of my favorite things here: be house's moral compass on the subject he's the least trustworthy about - relationships. but i think this exchange highlights why house comes to wilson with his feelings about mark and stacy; wilson's own imperfections lets the vulnerability come easier. house admits that he was glad that mark's tests were inconclusive, that mark is "probably a great guy...and some part of me wants him to die. i'm just not sure if it's because i want to be with her or if it's because i want her to suffer."
that stacy picks up on this very fact later in the episode speaks to how well she knows house; that house tells wilson and not her shows the high regard that holds her in. that wilson doesn't respond says a lot. in an episode where everyone's voices are especially loud, and when wilson has already scolded house on this whole unraveling stacy debacle, his silence is peaceful...

...and a little bit prophetic. (4x16 spoilers) this reminds me a hell of a lot of a future, much more serious dilemma wherein a certain Broken Moral Compass asks his best friend to undergo a highly dangerous treatment to save someone else whom he loves. it's not perfect, but there's definitely a parallel to be drawn here: does wilson wish for house to undergo the life-threatening brain surgery just to save amber, or is there a small amount of selfishness there that wants to see house suffer? once again, much to think about! check back when i finally get to season 4 lol.
regardless, what i find compelling above all else is how wilson's silence helps prompt house to act above his words -- even though the subsequent actions are exactly the opposite of what wilson had been advising house to do thus far! no matter what his feelings may be about stacy and mark, he solves the case in the end, undoing his previous commitment to wait "for something to change." it was an obvious scapegoat when he said that to stacy, coming from the man who rejects all notions of change.

wilson's influence is even visually represented, too. when house returns to mark's hospital room, determined now to do the crazy thing and give him the dangerous treatment, we get a very brief shot of the teddy bear that wilson sent stacy and mark (he's so annoying lol):

lastly, i liked the step 1x22 took in throwing one of the show's background themes into the spotlight: house's neediness.
we've seen traces of it growing throughout the season, especially in how he tries to maintain order among the fellows, keeping them at his side while also self-sabotaging. it's clear to anyone that he can be exhausting to be around, but stacy confirms that this exhaustion extends well into his romantic/intimate relationships as well. according to her, while he is The One: "i was lonely. with mark, there's room for me."
OOF.
this somewhat contradicts what i said earlier about stacy not knowing house as he is now; like she told cameron, he's been This Way for a while - this also has interesting implications for wilson's comment during "detox" about whether house's changing behavior is "just the leg" or not. the antisocial behavior predates the infarction - very important in the Gregory House Timeline, and i think it actually endears us to him even more. and the mystery just got deeper, too.

in stacy's POV, he's always been needy. the relationship was always consuming, all about him. and as we well know, this isn't a trend that goes away. each of the fellows will grow apart from house, though at different paces and for very different reasons, and his future romantic relationships do the same, too.
but there IS someone who has a house-shaped hole in their heart, someone who defies the relationships that house has worn out thus far and will wear out in the future, someone that goes so far as to say that we "can't really choose who our friends are" because house fits that empty space too well.

"my wife's gonna kill me. we're having company. she cooked."
"i got mark's latest bloodwork. he's not responding to treatment."
"i'm sorry."
stacy was completely right to say that her relationship with house was too all-consuming; we see that play out again in the first half of season 2. but we also lay the seeds for what happens when there are 2 people, stricken with that same neediness dilemma, who are balanced perfectly for the other person, no matter how toxic things may become.
are there more things i could talk about? absolutely! i think i'll be doing an overall season recap, so i can evaluate some more atp. for now, happy end of season 1. wow, has the show transformed!! i'm sure that the final shot of the season being house contemplatively downing some vicodin isn't foreshadowing how his addiction becomes much more destructive in season 2...

HE'S SO SEASON 5 HERE.
#SORRY FOR TYPOS i haven't had lots of time to edit this one#i'll come back and fix em as i see em#this shit is just so good#it feels like 1x21 would be a more suitable finale until the very end#the sorrowful sendoff works wonders#rarely is house md understated so it was a nice change of pace#also sorry to end on that note but i'm actually not sorry at all so#i can't wait to explore stacy's character more#i will never stop being impressed by how seamlessly this show can introduce grey characters and immediately endear them to the viewer#house md#malpractice md#greg house#james wilson#allison cameron#eric foreman#robert chase#stacy warner#hilson#house md rewatch#rewatch 1#season 1

RWBY teams get reorganized.
CRWBY: Hello RWBY characters.
Ruby: Who are you? Are you Gods?
Salem: Please tell me you are destroying the world.
Cinder: What do you mean RWBY characters? Does that mean that brat is the protagonist?
CRWBY: No, no, yes. Higher ups in Viz demanded we make some changes to the show. So we are gonna reorganize the teams based on the origin of their fairy tale allusion.
Yang: I didn't understand a single word you just said.
CRWBY: Andddd... reshuffle!
*magic poof*
TEAM GERMANY:
Ruby: Why do I no longer like strawberries and cookies?
Weiss: Take this pretzel and shut up.
Ruby: Weiss? We are still partners?
Weiss: Of course we are, nothing can separate us.
Ruby: That's great. Where are the others?
Weiss: It appears they are not German enough for our team.
Ruby: Look! There is another one of our teammates! *turns into rose petals*
Weiss: Ruby, don't jump a complete stranger like that.
Ruby: *tackles them down* Hello, I am Ruby Ro... oh.
Salem: Somehow this curse keeps getting worse.
Weiss: Scheisse!
TEAM FRANCE:
Oscar: I hope ze Ruby is my partner, hon hon hon. Ugh, what the hell happened to my voice.
Ozpin: Oscar, you are taking a dangerous route I cannot follow.
Oscar: Oz, what ze happening?
Ozpin: You are turning French. *soul gets ejected from Oscar's body*
Oscar: Nooooooo. It feels like part of me is missing now. I have a sudden urge to fill it with cheese and wi... Sacrebleu, I am really turning into ze Frenchman. I need to talk to someone, where are my teammates. *hears loud noises* There they are.
*walks up*
Oscar: Bonj... Hello, I am Oscar.
Cinder: We know who you are Farm Boy. Now, as the leader of this team...
Jaune: Who the hell put you in charge of this team?! Why are you even on this team, Cinderella story has many origins!
Cinder: Because I am Cinderella with glass slippers nimrod! Only French one has glass slippers!
Jaune: Great, I'm on the team with Pyrrha's murderer.
Cinder: Oh give me a break, they revived her. She is over there tossing Mercury. You are just salty because now there is no excuse for you not getting laid.
Oscar: Wait, why am I the only one with ze French accent?
Blake: Because you are an impressionable kid.
Oscar: Blake! You are ze here too!
Blake: *chuckles* Yes I am.
Jaune: Oh shut up!
Cinder: Make me!
Blake: How long will it take before they start making out?
TEAM ENGLAND:
Yang: Of course it's raining. Can this place get any worse?
Jax: Hello peasant.
Yang: I am gonna pretend I didn't hear that.
Jax: Me and my sister need someone to observe our polo game. Now move your arse.
Gilian: Polo? I am not playing polo with you Jax. You always rile up my horse with your Semblance!
Jax: So what? Are we suppose to just sit here and drink tea?
Gilian: I wouldn't mind that. Peasant, bring us some tea! And make sure it is Darjeeling, otherwise I might throw up.
*Yang knocks out both*
Yang: Can't pretend twice in the row.
Blake: Yang, is that you?
Yang: Blake! Where are you?
Blake: I am on the other side of the Channel!
Yang: What's going on on the other side?
Blake: Jaune and Cinder fighting... scratch that... making out. Oscar is losing himself to his French side. Toss me some fish and chips before his Frenchness fully overtakes him. You know what, throw some for me as well.
Yang: Are we suppose to be enemies now that you are French and I'm English?
Blake: Yes we are, but that's so hot.
Yang: Oh yeah. Wait, someone else is here.
Robyn: *pickpocketing Asturias siblings* No time to explain, I'm repurposing their funds.
TEAM NORDIC:
Winter: This is something new. I... I've never had a partner or team. I just hope it's not...
Qrow: Hello Ice Queen!
Winter: Branwen...
Qrow: It turns out Ice Queen is based on Snow Queen, how original.
Winter: What are you even doing here? Don't you have some other places to be, other people to bother?
Qrow: Nope, I am as Nordic as it gets. It turns out I am based on one of the Odin's messengers. Other one being... oh crap.
Raven: Hello brother!
Qrow: Raven... Don't you have some other places to be, family members to abandon?
Raven: And miss out on this? No way.
Winter: Wait a minute... You kidnapped Weiss!
Raven: Oh please, she ran into me. Can hardly count it as kidnapping.
Winter: Oh don't worry, this will hardly count as a beatdown. *draws swords*
Raven: Pfff, another Maiden to beat.
Nora: Heya Qrow, what did I miss.
Qrow: Not much kid, just some of the reasons I started drinking.
TEAM USA:
Ozpin: Come on James, don't be a buzzkill, we are doing the Wizard of Oz walk.
Ironwood: I am starting to believe that it wasn't a coincidence I tried to kill you.
Ozpin: Ha ha ha, good old James and his deadpan humor.
*walks down the road holding hands with Glynda, Theodore and Lionheart*
Adam: So, drinking alone on the sideline.
Ironwood: What are you doing here Taurus? Aren't you suppose to be on Team France?
Adam: Well, I tried. But they argued I don't count since most of my allusion comes from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. And Blake filed a restraining order... typical.
Ironwood: You know I can have you arrested.
Adam: Arrest a teammate? Who does that?
Ironwood: I do.
Adam: Fair enough. You know, I stabbed a teammate before.
Ironwood: Cheers.
Adam: Cheers.
TEAM ITALY:
Penny: *sad lonely robot noises* Wait, who is there?
Neo: *signs* It's me, Neo. *sits next to Penny*
Penny: Aren't you based on an ice cream?
Neo: *signs* It's an Italian ice cream. Do you want to be alone?
Penny: No. *shifts closer*

Something I really struggle with in did spaces is just how sensationalized introjects are.
Introjects are parts that take on identity traits or qualities of someone either fictional or factual. The most common type of introject is an abuser. I at one point was aware of one, I don’t know if that’s still the case. Fictional introjects come about when a child undergoes extreme trauma and the lines between the media they’re consuming and the real world abuse get blurred.
Why do syscord and sysblr treat introjects like characters? You all will yell about how introjects aren’t their sources while demanding borderline roleplay out of anyone you come across, whether you’re the introject or whether you’re interacting as a “fan.”
I haven’t opened up about introjects because they’re either based off of abusers or very indicative of my trauma, and I don’t intend to do much here, but I’ll say this.
It’s not painful to be an introject because you miss source or your friends or family.
It’s painful to be an introject because you attribute traits that were in the media onto abusers of yours and feel crazy when that’s the only way you know how to associate them.
I wasn’t literally in the situations that I’m based off of in my source (it’s a novel), but now I can only associate my abuser with systematic and intentional abuse, and not the accident that it actually was. I have such a hard time believing that what I experienced just happened to occur, and that it wasn’t some insidious attempt to ruin me the second my abuser had the chance to.
Introjection is such a complex process that changes your outlook on absolutely everything. I cannot understand the desire to survive such an ordeal as trauma and abuse and to want something like an introject as a result.
These are not fictional character besties that live in your brain, or YouTubers who want wacky situations with you, these are traumatized parts that have embodied traits of characters you were so immersed in you couldn’t tell the difference, or abusers who emulate the same traits that harmed you in the first place.
Do better system community

You are aware that religion is a major part of people’s cultures and history right?
And what gives you the right to insult billions of people for their beliefs?
You are aware that sacrificing virgins to make the weather amenable to growing crops was a major part of people's cultures and history, right? You are aware that enslaving your neighbors was a major part of people's culture and history, right?
Aside from, what the fuck does this have to do with anything or justify belief in imaginary wizards, it's both an Appeal to Popularity, or Bandwagon, fallacy, and an Appeal to Tradition fallacy.

We stopped sacrificing virgins to the weather, we - well, the west - stopped enslaving people, and we're gradually surrendering belief in supernatural deities. If you're not willing to defend the resumption of slavery and virgin sacrifice on the basis of "cultures and history," you have no basis defending belief in mystical space creatures on the basis of "cultures and history."
May I also introduce you to evolution? Cultures evolve. And history documents those changes. Cultures that do not change go stagnant and die. And history is not a dogma on which to base freezing a culture in one point in time. You really want to see what that looks like? Afghanistan. North Korea.
And I guarantee you that whatever religion is dominant in any given culture overthrew a previous belief system, replaced an earlier culture. So, unless you're willing to unwind Xianity and Islam and reinstate the ancient Sumerian religions or Zoroastrianism, for example, neither you nor I believe a word you're saying. I'm calling full-on bullshit. Islam is notorious for having wiped out every trace of every culture it invaded and replacing it with Islamic supremacy.
Meanwhile, every culture disagrees on the nature of their gods. How many there are, where they came from, how they behave, what they want of humans. There are thousands of gods you don't believe in, without any guilt. All of you disbelieve each other's gods. I just agree with all of you.
So, if you want to play this numbers game, let's be scrupulously honest: there isn't a single religion anywhere in the world where there's more people who believe it than disbelieve it. Not one. Every single religion is a minority in all of humanity.
Religion comes from humanity's ignorance. We didn't have better explanations for the world and we resorted to magic because that was the best we could come up with at the time. But you don't rely on the Humoral Theory of the Ancient Greeks for your medical needs, so why would you rely on equally ignorant beliefs about magical space beings for your understanding of the world and the way it works? Isn't the nature of everything worth a better explanation than fables of magic written before people knew to wash their hands?
You're a hypocrite. Everybody in the world once believed that the Earth was flat, yet you wouldn't worry about a Flat Earther being "insulted." Millions of people believed in Zeus and the Greek pantheon, and many still do, yet you would never feel guilty while laughing at the jokes in Disney's Hercules. Why do you demand I meet a standard that you refuse to?
Not to mention, you come to me like this never worrying whether I might feel insulted. Why do you have different rules for others than for yourself? Why do I have to worry about the feelings of others, when you never have to worry about mine?
What gives me the right? The fact that being insulted is not an argument that defends unsubstantiated nonsense. Anyone can claim to feel insulted about anything simply by asserting it. That doesn't mean anything. All you're admitting is that you think feelings are more important than truth. I reject that.
Your beliefs are for you, not for me. Which means managing your fee-feez is entirely your responsibility, not mine. I will not manage your feelings for you just because you will not or cannot. And if you can't, that suggests a whole lot about the nature of your beliefs and how true they must be. Nobody feels "insulted" when someone disbelieves in gravity. Because gravity is real and doesn't need to be "believed" when it can be demonstrated.
I also have the right because religions are just ideas and people are allowed to criticize ideas. It's how we got better ones, like quantum physics and, you know, the Earth not being the center of the universe. Again, your religion is for you, not for me. Its rules are for you, not for me. I do not need to comply with the rules of your religion. What you're asserting is authoritarianism, which is something people use when their ideas are flimsy and unconvincing. When they can't make a compelling case, they simply threaten.
And I unequivocally reject it.

Some more lore for Reaper Wally

All the neighbors are Reapers and there are different classes of Reapers. These are with how they collect souls. The most common are the ones that collect Good and Bad souls. Frank, Sally and Howdy collect Bad souls and Julie and Eddie collect Good souls. The sub class reapers, Barnaby collects animal souls & Poppy and Wally collect children's souls.Wally is a newer Reaper that learned what he knows from Poppy. Though he has his own way to handle souls pass through to the afterlife. Often at times he can turn himself into a plush crow to make himself more friendly towards young children. He likes to comfort the child rightuntil they properly pass. This doesn't mean he's a pacifist. He's not very good with older children, often being ignored or looked down upon. If this happens he will be more demanding towards the soul to move on.
🦴 Reaper Waly (Reaps) Facts
-Bones glow in the dark.
- Has a scythe badge that can magically grow to size.
-Feather earring is his source of power to turn into a crow plush (cannot fly).
- Speaks in a calming voice
- Doesn't really use alot of emotions
- Literally can kill you if you touch him. He keeps his sleaves long so he dosnt accidentally makes that mistake (will never forgive himself if it happened)
- Tries to help "lost souls" whenever he can. Being a new reaper he dosnt have the experience to deal something as bad as this. So he'll keep them in company. Poppy caught him trying to collect the lost souls when he first found out what happens go souls when they dont pass on. He doesn't like leaving them behind and doesn't understand why no other reaper would help these souls.
- Hands a ptich black, looking like rot. But his plams have little hearts that if you press them the squeak like a squeaker toy.
- Uses glitter in his hair.
🦴 SOULS
So souls natural pass onto the afterlife. In some cause their death is sudden or their life is hanging on by a thread, this is where a Reaper will help. They are not just seen as takers of life but guide souls to ensure they are achieving a rightfully afterlife. The "afterlife" is a lose term, it has very different meaning based on ones belief. But mainly there a good and bad place for souls.
Souls look like an outline our your body, filled with distinctive colours (yeah like Undertale souls but more colour variety)
LOST SOULS
If a soul died sudden or holds some form of grudge they will not pass. Being stuck in purgatory for so long can make one lose their self but physically and mentally. Their soul will lose their form and become a wisp. They may lose all their memories or their whole personality will change based on the grudge they have. There isn't really anything one can do to fix them, maybe rare cases can occur but its very, very rare.

PLARKS
Not much is know how a Lost soul becomes a Plark. Not all lost souls turn into plarks. There is 0 chance of plarks passing on. They are able to breach the material world and feed on the living. Basically are characterized as demons. They have no particular shape, often goopy with a forever changing form. They cannot speak, but shrill and growl. Plarks will often form groups and merge with one another to feed more efficiently. A group of plarks is called an eye. The reason why is that group feeding occurrs by surrounding an individual, looking like an eye from a 'birds eye view.'
Repaers are secondary tasked with controlling Plarks infestation. This is where their scythers are used for. A reaper cannot get rid off plarks, just control their size and feeding behavior. Hunger will not kill plarks.
Wally one meet a Plark once. He tried to help them. The plark tired to drain Wallys life force. His black rot hands is his lession that not everyone can be saved.

Found this in my drafts, from November '23.
I am doing better now, but I will preface that by saying that it is largely not because I figured anything out or because I got better somehow, it is mostly to do with my living situation. It got worse before it got better.
Nonetheless.
John Green of Vlogbrothers posted a video today. It concerns title case Mental Healt. Mental Unwellness, maybe, if you prefer. It is not a magnificent or life-changing work in itself, but it is part of a greater corpus, a great body of a well-crafted discussion spanning over a decade. A conversation that (much like any great conversation) meanders, flips tonal switches and gets precise and sharp, then circles back to certain core ideas. It has been a great delight and honour to witness this project over the years. It is not one that demands a great deal from its audience, but it its also one that returns what it recieves, where attention and patience is rewarded. It is impossible to, in 2023, recommend vlogbrothers to anyone. There is no starting point, no pivotal video, no point where things "get good". There is just attention and patience.
This video in particular brought me back to 2013, 2014, when I was a confused and frustrated teenager with wildly unregulated emotions.
I recall my teenage bedroom posters and the dark windows backdropping my desk, cheese sandwiches eaten on the morning train, too cold school hallways and the delightful glimpses of belonging (to a classroom tribe, to a fan community, to a geeky crew of roleplayers). This particular winter, I was deeply sad, wildly in love with someone who would never want me while also somehow committed to someone I did not desire. I watched the Vlogbrothers channel like a book, chapter by chapter, going back in time. A few videos every night, for weeks, until the light returned to the northern hemisphere and I no longer felt the need to direct my attention outside of my self and body.
It seemed so much then. Such a wealth of knowledge. It's been ten years since.
So John Green attempting to talk about the pain of the nebulous disease of the soul brought me back. What about it? He pulls a quote (he is perhaps the best quoter I have encountered), about the pain of that disease, that it is melancholy without its charms.
It is not a one-to-one for me, but needless to say, I have not been doing particularly well as of late. For most of this year, actually, really. It is a strange beast, being young and promising and handsome and emotionally fulfilled, at a party with friends and lovers and music and delights and questions of "how are you?" that you cannot know how to answer. Because you are fine, quite well, truly. You are loving this moment, you are greatly excited for the things to come, you just also know that when you close the door to your flat, the dread and lonesomeness will once again be eager to return. It is not a weariness of life but rather an inability to tolerate its mediocricities. "You" is not general here, in fact, it is highly specific and should be read as "I". Nonetheless.
I have taken my refuge to the art that acknowledges and delights in that sharp and loud darkness. There are the usual suspects - The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, the Kent album Du & Jag Döden - as well as, owing to my situation, a great deal of theatre. Vansinnets Historia is a musical exploring when Foccault was heartbroken and overcome with madness, trying for his doctorate in Uppsala, studying that same madness and seeking a postmodern theory of sanity. Melancholia is an opera based on the movie of the same name, staking a claim that "being depressed and nihilistic is the correct way to understand the world", leaning into the magnificence of its ending. A staging of Strindberg's A Dream Play approaches the famous line about "pity the humans" over and over again, never stating it outright as it instead focuses the ensemble gaze towards the mundane tragedies of attempting a shared life, or the impossible task of the poet. At the end of the play, the back wall vanishes, revealing a huge mirror hung askew from the roof in an oversized knot. An actor spins it. Nothing is revealed of the arguments between the characters on stage, but we catch glimpses of ourselves in the audience, the actors standing outside the stage edges.
Pity the humans.
These are all plays that gesture towards the thin, thin line between madness and humanity, between diseases of the soul and the genereal plagues of existence. The madness of Melancholias Justine fleeing her wedding to mope in the bathtub is no more absurd than her sister Claire's desire to drink wine and sing songs at the end of the world. At least once the truth of the imminent end of days is confirmed. Fouccault is certainly not mad, but that has mostly to do with the fact that he is not locked up, yet. The darkness of the poet is the darkness of beauty, unless it is not beautiful or wrangled into poetry, at which point it is nothing but darkness. Mind your madnesses, mine them, do not let yourself be fooled that you are any better or any different than the fools outright.
For so long, I thought that darkness was the result of emotion, the natural consequence of living a life that was no longer drab and dull but vivid and emotional. Everything comes at a cost and all that. I am no wiser than I was. I know more, but that is not to say that the data points connect, you know?

Affordable Old Age Home Care for Senior Citizens
Over the years, as we age, we need more support and companionship from those with the right skills. In our busy modern society, many elderly people trust old age home care for safety, assistance, and companionship. Since India has more senior citizens than ever before, people are looking into retirement homes and elder care centers so their older family members can have both comfort and dignity.
If you’ve ever looked for an "old age home near me," you are not by yourself. Families are starting to better understand why having professional care for their elderly loved ones is required.
You can learn about changes in senior care in India by reading our previous blog on how Standard Sunrise Foundation caregivers support elder mental health.

Why Choose Old Age Home Care?
Old age home care isn’t only about housing—it also offers help from medical staff, allows seniors to mix with others socially, and provides continuous support.
A lot of care centers for seniors in India today emphasize mental, physical, and emotional health through their “life care” philosophy. These senior homes provide structure, good meals, and care when their relatives live far away or cannot give them enough support.
Based on information from the World Health Organization, staying healthy as we age involves health and also building and keeping relationships and being involved in our communities. Old age homes ensure there is always a group willing to help.
Types of Senior Living Options Available
The needs of older people can be met by choosing from a variety of senior care homes.
1. Living Arrangements for Independent Elderly
A good living option for active seniors who still want to be independent but among similar people. These places are designed for seniors who want to keep an active routine with only a little help.
2. Assisted Living is another name for Elderly Care Homes.
Created to help seniors who struggle with bathing, dressing themselves or using medication. Care facilities for seniors give constant care, but also feel like a home environment.
3. Nursing Homes and Senior Care Homes
They are designed for people with chronic diseases or problems moving around easily. Whenever needed, nursing homes provide nursing care, rehabilitation and palliative care.
4. We operate communities specifically for senior citizens.
Their care can go from independence for seniors to extra care or nursing support if required. It is best for planning senior care that will last a long time.
If you’d like to know more about activity-based therapy for seniors, check out our blog on creative activities for elderly care homes.

Understanding Old Age Home Monthly Cost in India
People often ask: "What is the monthly fee for an elderly home?"
What is offered by a nursing home will depend on its location, kind of facility, patients’ medical needs and the services offered. On average:
The cost of basic Elderly Care Homes is between ₹5,000 and ₹15,000 each month.
The price of Assisted Living or Senior Homes starts from about ₹15,000 and ranges up to ₹40,000 each month.*
Conditions at Premium Nursing Homes or Life Care Facilities, depending on requirements, start at ₹40,000 and can go as high as ₹1,00,000 every month.
If your budget is tight or the financing too big a worry, NGOs such as Standard Sunrise Foundation can provide low-cost or subsidized support for seniors. HelpAge India points out that elder care needs are increasing nationwide and non-profits are answering that demand.
What to Look for in a Senior Citizen Home
Remember these points when choosing a senior citizen home:
You can receive treatment from doctors, nurses and access emergency services.
You can trust that the town is clean and safe.
Qualified staff at the home are trained to help elderly residents
There are music, art and yoga activities to help students be engaged in the community.
Cost of living in old age homes should be clearly shared.
Choose places that fulfill your personal needs as well as your feelings and opportunities to socialize.
The Role of Caregivers in Elderly Care Homes
Every elderly care home depends on reliable caregivers. They make sure residents get proper medication promptly, physical support and emotional assistance. Besides offering medical care, the staff at senior homes practice ways to bond with their residents. It is very important for the emotionally healthy growth of the elderly.
The same research from NCBI reports that the emotional support given by caregivers decreases both loneliness and depression for seniors.

How Standard Sunrise Foundation Supports Senior Living
The mission of Standard Sunrise Foundation is to increase the quality of life for seniors through compassionate care in old age homes. Our activities regularly take place in Delhi NCR at senior homes where:
Music therapy and dance therapy
Art and painting are good examples.
Gameplay including antakshari
Experiencing meditation and yoga practices
Help for caregivers in different ways
Not only do these programs amuse the elderly, but they also benefit their mental well-being.
We work with the belief that every senior deserves to be loved, respected and cared for.
In several of our connected homes for the elderly, our volunteers also support community festivals, set up health checks, and promote friendships between residents. Such small efforts work wonders in helping each senior feel important and feel like part of something.
Conclusion: A New Beginning for the Elderly
Letting your parents stay in an assisted living or retirement home is not forgetting them—it allows more comfort, care, and respect as they get older. Derived from increased need, the Indian senior living sector is strengthening and meeting the needs of all seniors with numerous options.
Always put compassion, security, and openness at the top of your list, whether you’re searching for a place for yourself or finding care for a relative.
May there be harmony with help and companions at this time—thanks to organizations such as the Standard Sunrise Foundation bringing dignity to everyone’s final years.

Global Food Consumption-what the world is actually consuming!
Global food trends are undergoing significant changes influenced by health awareness, sustainability concerns , and cultural shifts. Still there is undeniable popularity of ‘Packaged Food’ , let’s dive deep and understand ‘what the world is actually consuming’.
In today’s fast-paced society, the food landscape is marked by the ‘dual popularity of Healthy and Packaged Food’ The growing awareness of health issues linked to diet, such as obesity and chronic diseases, is leading to an increase in healthy food consumption. However we cannot deny that processed foods still dominate global diets
Studies indicate that globally, around 30% to 40% of people are actively trying to consume healthier foods. This includes a focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. However these stats also indicate regional differences there is- higher percentage of people consuming healthy foods in developed countries compared to developing countries ,
Processed foods are becoming more common in developing countries, can you guess why?
Here is your answer: Changing Lifestyles, Urbanisation, Limited accessibility, because of these reasons there is increased consumption of sugary snacks and fast food in Developing nations.
The Dual Popularity of Healthy and Processed Foods in Today's World-
Reason behind this duality:
1) Health Consciousness- An increasing number of consumers are prioritising health, because they desire to stay healthy, combat diseases and improve overall well-being. As a result, there’s increase in the demand for fresh produce, Many people are turning to organic foods and supplements, eager to invest in their health. However, this consciousness often coexists with the convenience of processed foods.
2)Easy Accessibility-Processed food are easily accessible, plus they are easy to make and Pre-packaged meals, snacks, and instant options save time and effort in meal preparation. While these foods are often criticised for their nutritional value, many brands are responding to consumer demand by creating healthier versions.
3)Urbanisation and Lifestyle changes-In todays fact pacing society its kind of tough to keep up with traditional cooking, so processed food serves the purpose, Yet, many urban consumers are also seeking out healthier options .
4)Innovations in Food Technology- Advancements in food technology have made it possible to create processed foods that are both tasty and nutritious.
Innovations like - plant-based meats, cater to health-conscious consumers while providing the convenience they seek. This blending of health and processing meets diverse dietary needs.
Conclusion :
• The parallel popularity of Healthy and Processed food shows how with increasing health consciousness still there is huge and popular market for Packaged Food because of – Accessibility, Urbanisation and Cultural Fusion, people specially in ‘Developing countries’ are opting more of packaged food , while there is a huge market and popularity for healthy food in ‘Developed Countries’
However this does not mean that people in developing countries don’t consume healthy foods but percentage is less compared to developing nations. This evolution suggests a future where healthy and processed options can coexist harmoniously, meeting the diverse needs of a global population.
‘We can stay healthy and happy all we need is just balance’

Religion
I don know exactly how but me and the kid I am training at work got onto topic of religion, specifically Christianity. So I’m just going to ramble here.
Neither of us are religious. Both of us grew up in Christian households.
My introduction to God was going to church with my grand parent and my mother telling me ‘God doesn’t like ugly’ and ‘lying is a sin, liars go to hell’ as a small child. And I believed… for a while. Until bad things happened, and kept happening or kept getting worse no matter how hard or how much I prayed.
I’m fairly certain I stopped believing in god at about the same time I realized that Santa wasn’t real. Which I would say was probably between 6-7years old. No one told me Santa wasn’t real and as far as I remember there was no big upset about it. I don’t think I even mentioned it, just kept playing along.
My childhood was not great, but no where near the worst. There are countless other people who have had much worse circumstances. But there’s only so much a child can pray for to stop happening, for something to change, before first wondering what they could have done wrong to be punished as such, and next wondering if there’s even a god at all.
Because surely an all loving god wouldn’t put a child through such things as I have experienced, let alone the worse horrors happening for even less reasons.
Granted as a child I did not have the ability to express or even understand the feelings and emotions as I can explain as an adult. I felt anger and betrayal toward a god who had obviously decided that my devote worship and prayer wasn’t good enough. That anger shifter targets when my belief stopped, aimed instead at those that continued to try to shove the Bible down my throat or tell me ‘it’s gods will’ and ‘god always has a reason’ and whatever other bullshit people spout in an attempt to make meaningless atrocities hurt less.
IT DOES NOT WORK.
I have slightly less anger towards religious folks now. As an adult I can see individuals separate from the religion. That is, while the organization may condemn something, the individual may not. While the church may say one thing, the individual may differ.
A big example would be same sex relationships/marriage.
Christianity as a whole condemns it. However some sects/individuals differ on it. Some say it’s a sin. Some say it’s a sin but to each their own. Others say it’s not a sin at all.
This does not change that the institution says it’s a sin and that the sin will be punished. Therefore, even if you tell me that you think everyone who says it’s a sin is wrong and not a ‘real Christian’ it doesn’t matter.
If this ‘all-loving’ God punishes me, despite me doing everything I can to be a honest, caring, good person, and doing my best to never hurt anyone. If the only black mark on my soul is that I loved the wrong gender and that I refused to worship something I couldn’t believe in then your god is not worthy of worship.
“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”
Marcus Aurelius
There is nothing in this world, short of Jesus himself giving divine proof, that could cause me to believe. And even then, with no doubt of belief, I could not worship a God that demands worship or punishment. That gives free will, freedom of choice, and punishes those who use it.
I wish I had faith in something bigger than humanity. But I cannot reconcile what a petulant and cruel being god would have to be while his followers sing his praises and children die en masse.
Good night.

A YouTube Comment I left on the Old Wound music video. I doubt anyone's gonna see it there so I thought I'd share it here. If anyone has anything to correct me on pls lmk.
To the fans: It’s understandable that this upsets most of you, a fan-base of artists, or contrarians, or supporters -- not only are you not the demographic for this video, but you see the harm it causes. My concerns, then, are not to you. Nor are they to the A.I. advocates (this is a debate I considered dead and buried). My concerns are with the minority of loud opportunists: the same people who might continue to harass Bob Bryar on Twitter. I considered this behaviour dead and buried also. But it’s back, disgusting as it is, and doing nothing of use. The small minority must know that to rip and tear as they do only harms the points they wish to defend, but especially the band. (In particular, so I’ve seen, Frank. If there’s one demand I’d make: give Frank some fucking room. Your beloved anti-fascist lyricist of Leathermouth and anti-corporate singer of Death Spells is NOT transforming into an antisemitic, conservative libertarian. Goddam!) The arguments that are common sense to you (in defence of or attacking A.I.) are absolutely not so to others. You must talk to the others as though they are children. Not patronisingly, but as though they are naive. Disregard and do not respond to anything bad faith. All the “comment section grammar correction bile” hurts the band. So if not for each other, be civil for the band.
To the band: The video is out now. It doesn’t matter. From the moment the teaser was posted it didn’t matter if the full video was released or not — it existed, it was paid for, the fuse was lit. The upset and anger are not at the form or the content, it’s at the thought (or thoughtlessness) that preceded it. Its status as art is contentious, yes, but ultimately irrelevant to the core issue. We do not live in a world where safety nets exist for artists in any form, let alone when their existence (i.e. their careers and livelihoods) are threatened by automation. This is good technology. Undoubtedly the beginning of another technological revolution. But our objective conditions do not make it safe to use when it’s application necessitates a team of artists goes unpaid in favour of one individual.
Most importantly I would say: We don’t need to consider this moralistically. If A.I. art is truly art or not, if it’s stolen or not, if it’s tied to the NFT and crypto demographic or not, is all secondary. It doesn’t matter. Materially, this application is poor now. In a decade? Maybe not. But now, there is no protection or assurance for human artists. The tale of this field’s automation is the same as any other — it will be rejected en masse and held as immoral for as long as the material conditions leave the Replaced unprotected. Art is especially tricky in this sense, as for other occupations workers may only need to be financially compensated and assigned a new line of work, but artists do what they do out of love. It is not just work, it is a pastime. So not only do the artists need the financial compensation, but they CANNOT be relocated, and they need assurance they will never be made redundant in a world that demands money be made.
I don’t like this video. If it were a decade later, or another time when artists are protected, when A.I. is assuredly a tool and not a threat or talking point, I might enjoy it more. But for now, A.I. is unfortunately objectively bad for art. And that’s something we can only change by listening to the artists
#source: @Isaac-ej2yt (YouTube)#ls dunes#old wounds#ai art#maybe I've been exposed to a bad sample#but I've been somewhat unhappy with the fan response#people I know have done their best to explain the situation in comments#but besides that it just seems to be people lambasting them or praising the video#ik it's not just me and my colleagues who are capable of delivering reasonable explanations of the situation#all of those ones are isolated to Instagram and Reddit#(and of course tumblr know where it stands)#so I thought YouTube could do with an essay too

Navigating the Digital Pen: My Journey in Writing for New Media
Having embarked on writing for new media, I have found the experience cathartic and enlightening. As I enrolled in this course, I expected that it would not do anything significantly helpful in the path I am to take in the future, and I was proven otherwise. I have discovered a shift in my understanding of what it means to communicate in the modern, digital age.
From the outset, the course promised an enticing dive into digital content creation. As a writer who has dedicated works to the traditional format of writing; keeping my works to myself, away from the eyes of others, transitioning to new media was quite daunting. Compared to traditional writing, where you have to spend a great deal of time and energy getting feedback and interactions from your audience, new media makes it much easier to interact with your work in just a few simple clicks. Module after module, one cannot help but be fascinated by the complexities of each digital platform– using such platforms is one thing, but learning about it is another– combining both theoretical and practical applications is something I found exciting.
Adaptability. Adaptability is an important skill to master because new media requires a more dynamic approach; simply creating content will not persist, adapting based on interaction and feedback from the audience, however, is an entirely different story that may help one’s ideas and works persevere. Mastering adaptability, I must say, is the foundation of excellent new media writing.
Learning that new media is fundamentally interactive has allowed me to have a deeper understanding of how anticipating the audience’s needs is not all there is in new media writing, one must continuously keep the audience involved by hearing out their opinions and ideas with their feedback to improve the content you offer. Adaptability, once again, plays a big role in this– being committed to learning new things makes it easier to be able to embrace new tools and platforms as they emerge, allowing one to keep honing their skills to continuously meet the ever-changing demands of new media writing.
It is said that change is the only constant thing in the world, the same can be said for new media writing. As time passes we are introduced to new tools and platforms, mastering adaptability will allow us to be more flexible concerning things that will help improve our work and cater to our audiences based on their feedback, allowing us to have a good interactive relationship with the audience. Embracing what I have learned in this course, I look forward to creating content that will resonate with the audience's needs.

That's a reflection on them, not you. That isn't to say it won't hurt when someone judges you, it's absolutely going to hurt. But the fact is that you need to have the confidence to know yourself and know that, no matter what people believe about you, you know who you are, what you're worth, and what you believe and think about yourself. You need to develop the confidence to understand that, no matter what anyone says or believes about you, what they accuse you of, you know yourself and that their accusations don't change this truth of you and never will. You cannot allow the judgment of another to define who you are.
I get judged constantly, I've had people tell me the most abhorrent things I dare not even repeat, calling me some of the worst shit imaginable, and one of those things was, I kid you not, over commenting on how I loved an art of Deadpool and Spiderman kissing. But at the end of the day, they can believe what they will of me. I know who I am, and it doesn't matter if they do or don't. I wish they understood me, yes, and it hurts that they never will accept the truth about me, but there are more things to worry about at the end of the day than what some random folks think of who I am when I know myself more than they ever will, and I uphold this in my actions, beliefs, daily affirmations, etc.
In ethics, there's something called the growth mindset, meaning people are willing and open to learning and changing their minds, versus a closed mindset wherein they're not willing to learn or change (you'll often see this in especially older and elderly people, for example with how many elderly folks refuse to learn technology at all and demand for alternatives to it). And if the person has a closed mindset then it's not your duty to make them change that. Chances are that no amount of teaching will ever change their mindset, anyway.
And the people who would, in your situation, assume automatically you're a cannibal or cannibalism supporter, are those who likely have the closed mindset, or at least have not received the teaching to understand that to learn most anything at all, you have to challenge your worldview.
Even if they believe you're a cannibalism supporter, so what? Is that a bad thing when put in the context of a society in which it's merely a fact of life for them? Is it bad to allow people to have traditions wherein they consume the bodies of their loved ones believing it brings them closer to them? Is it wrong to support an act of survival to keep oneself alive in desperation? Cannibalism isn't inherently barbaric.
Support of something isn't always black or white, either. You can have nuanced situations in which you'll support something or not based on context, and not just this example but for a number of things. Would you support something such as animal euthanasia for when an animal is very sick and cannot live a quality life, but if it's for the reason that a shelter or city is overpopulated by the animal you wouldn't support it? What about murder? Would you support someone killing a person who is attempting to kill them, but you wouldn't support the idea for murder just for murder's sake?
That is the thing about ethics is it forces you to realize the nuances of the world, the human experience and mind, and people who refuse to see this are those with closed mindsets who, more likely than not, would judge you as in your example. And it doesn't matter what they think of you because at the end of the day, again, you're how you define yourself. And if you'll allow hate and poor judgment to define you, if you're going to worry about what everyone thinks of you in many or all contexts, you'll never be able to challenge your own worldview to learn in your own mindset, to grow and change.
Granted, that isn't to say you should just ask a bunch of random strangers on the street for their opinions on a controversial subject. It's important that you discuss these things in open circles where others are willing to contribute to the discussion in a constructive way, such as a classroom or a mutual meeting space.
But in the end, confidence in yourself as well as understanding that others do not have the right to define you, only you do, is key.

The Evolution of Advertising: What Modern Agencies Bring to the Table?
Advertising has changed with every decade. From those flamboyance-filled ads of the 90s to the subtle and creatively overwhelming ads of the 21st century, advertising has evolved significantly, becoming more specific, focused, and personalized.
While changing consumer demands and preferences have shaped advertising dynamics, modern agencies that have kept up with this evolutionary journey cannot be discounted. Today, ad agencies aren’t just advertisers booking hoarding spaces or time slots on the radio. They’ve become strategists, helping customers identify what’s right and making strategies work.
Contemporary advertisers thus bring a host of elements and advantages to the table. Let’s look at some of the most vital ones in this blog.
Audiences don’t dwell in a single place. They are everywhere, and so should your ad. You cannot stick to relying on a particular channel, let’s say only outdoor media, to drive traffic and engagement. Modern advertising agencies understand this. They know how to stitch seamless and consistent brand experiences together across multiple channels – both conventional and modern, enabling brands to leverage each and engage more.
If strategy is queen, creativity is king. Although the basic aim of creativity is capturing attention and encouraging action, its expression has been constantly changing.
Today, creativity isn’t merely about colorful images, pretty pictures, or witty taglines. That’s usually considered superficial these days.
Instead, creativity is about connecting emotionally through intriguing storytelling, delivering culturally relevant messages and visuals that grab attention and make people stop scrolling!
Modern agencies nurture this creativity through artists well-versed with consumer psychology. They blend their creativity with their client’s strategic and commercial objectives to brew content that resonates on a human level.
Nowadays, amidst tons of content with which users are bombarded, it isn’t just about getting noticed but being remembered. Today’s ad agencies know just how to make it work!
Creativity isn’t the only dimension of advertising today. Technology also is one – and a decisive one! Efficient, smart, and purposeful use of technology is one of the KRAs of every advertising agency in Pune in the digitally-driven world. Thankfully, modern agencies have aligned themselves with technological shifts across the world, becoming tech-savvier than ever!
So, today’s ad agencies help their clients integrate CRM, and chatbots and assist in AI-powered media buying. They’ve expanded their scope to include all these aspects, which weren’t part of their proposition earlier. These agencies have learned how to automate customer journeys and are adept at using predictive analytics to forecast campaign outcomes, identify trends, and help their clients stay prepared for them.
They make the right use of technology, make less manual effort, and have more bandwidth to think more strategically to drive better and more resonating outcomes.
Guesswork is history. And it doesn’t even work anymore! Companies rely on data and they expect their partners, including the advertising ones, to be data-driven.
Thanks to the agility advertising agencies have shown and acquired the skills required to use analytical tools that provide vital insights.
Today, modern agencies are equipped with the latest analytical capabilities that help them identify strategic times to launch a campaign, know which tagline will perform better, predict which title will catch more attention (based on data), and recognize trends and patterns to make informed decisions for the clients.
These agencies know how critical it is to deliver results in today’s competitive world. Accordingly, they strive and make every effort it takes to manufacture them!
Personalization is bliss. But hyper-personalization is divine. Customers don’t bother to look at generic ads these days. They need highly personalized content that speaks to them exclusively and interacts with them as if they are discussing a problem with their partner or friend. Of course, creating such content doesn’t just involve creativity but a systematic data-driven approach that involves knowing what works with a particular audience and delivering precisely what they expect at a time they are most likely to engage and respond.
This isn’t a hard skill but part of an agency’s value system and inherent approach.
Agencies today know that companies nowadays prefer looking at proof instead of promises.
Accordingly, new-age agencies provide real-time dashboards, comprehensive KPIs, and transparent performance reports. They don’t just highlight a great idea but demonstrate why it is great and how it will deliver the expected results.
Essentially, they look to serve companies as long-term advertising, marketing, and branding partners through accountability that builds confidence.

Things You MUST Know About Canada Immigration 2025 Before You Apply – Globexa Immigration

Facts About Canada Immigration 2025 Before You Apply
Canada has long been known for its inclusive immigration policies, world-class education system, and economic opportunities. But in 2025, the immigration landscape has changed dramatically. The Government of Canada has rolled out new rules, stricter documentation checks, and evolving PR pathways. For applicants, this means more opportunities—but also more risks if you’re not fully prepared.
At Globexa Immigration, we’ve helped hundreds of applicants navigate Canada’s immigration maze. This blog will help you understand the critical things you MUST know before you apply in 2025, whether you’re looking to study, work, settle with your spouse, or become a permanent resident.
1. Express Entry 2025: Category-Based Draws Take Center Stage
Canada’s Express Entry system has become smarter and more targeted. In 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is focusing more on category-based draws rather than just high CRS scores. The most in-demand categories include:
STEM Professionals: Software Engineers, IT Analysts, Data Scientists
Healthcare Workers: Nurses, Pharmacists, Medical Lab Technicians
Tradespeople: Electricians, Welders, Plumbers
Transport Workers: Truck Drivers, Logistics Managers
French Speakers: Even without a job offer
Globexa Advice: If you’re working in these fields, you don’t need an extremely high CRS score. We help optimize your NOC code selection, experience documentation, and language scores to match 2025’s draw trends.
2. Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) Now Stricter for International Students
Canada previously allowed almost all international students to bring their spouses on open work permits. But starting January 2024 and continuing into 2025:
Only students enrolled in Master’s, PhD, or certain professional programs are eligible to sponsor their spouse
Undergraduate and diploma students may no longer qualify
Officers are more critical of fake marriages or inconsistent documents
What You Need:
Strong relationship proof (marriage certificate, photos, chat history)
Financial support proof (bank funds, job offer if applicable)
Genuine study plan
Globexa Helps With: SOP writing, visa file preparation, and SOWP reapplications after refusal.
3. Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) Is Mandatory for Study Permit
In response to an overwhelming number of international students, Canada implemented a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) requirement for most provinces. Here’s what you must know:
You cannot apply for a study permit without this letter in many provinces like Ontario and BC
Each province has a cap/quota of how many students it will allow
The PAL process is linked to Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs), not students directly
Challenge: Many students are facing long delays or missing intakes due to late PAL issuance.
Globexa Solution: We have tie-ups with Canadian colleges and can fast-track eligible students to get PALs within deadlines.
4. New Proof of Funds (POF) Requirements: Show More, Show Clearly
Canada has updated its POF limits to reflect inflation and cost-of-living increases.
Updated 2025 Amounts:
Single applicant: Over $14,500 CAD
Family of two: Approx. $18,000 CAD
Family of three: Over $24,000 CAD
What IRCC Looks For:
Clear ownership of funds (no “borrowed” money)
6-month average balance history
Acceptable sources: Savings, FD, GIC, sponsor (if justified)
Globexa’s Role: We audit your bank statements, offer custom formats, and add CA & notary attestations as needed.
5. Study-to-PR Pathway in 2025: Still Strong, But Not "Easy"
The popular route of Study → PGWP → PR is still one of the top pathways, but it’s now more competitive. Here’s what you must understand:
PGWP is only available if you study in a full-time, eligible program at a public DLI
Private colleges or short-term courses do NOT qualify
After PGWP, getting a job with LMIA or in-demand field is key for PR
Globexa Guidance Includes:
Choosing the right DLI and province for high PR success
Building SOPs that align your career with immigration goals
Support from study permit to PGWP to PR
6. Higher Scrutiny = Higher Refusals
Rejection rates for visas in 2025 have gone up due to tighter scrutiny by IRCC. Common reasons include:
Weak Statement of Purpose (SOP)
Mismatched course and academic background
Lack of home ties
Doubtful source of funds
New Trends: Even minor errors like improper format of documents or inconsistent signatures are leading to refusals.
Globexa Services: We specialize in crafting high-acceptance SOPs, checking full file compliance, and handling reapplication after refusal.
7. New PR Targets and Distribution
The Government of Canada plans to admit 485,000 new permanent residents in 2025. Here’s how it’s divided:
281,135 spots under Economic Programs (Express Entry, PNPs)
114,000 spots for Family Sponsorship
89,000+ for Refugees and Humanitarian Class
What’s New in 2025?
More focus on rural & regional immigration
Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) and Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) are expanding
French-speaking candidates outside Quebec get bonus points
Globexa Benefit: We guide you through lesser-known but high-success programs like RNIP, AIP, and Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.
8. Quebec Immigration: A Different Game
Many applicants don’t realize that Quebec has its own rules. In 2025:
Quebec’s CSQ (Certificate of Selection of Quebec) is mandatory for PR
Language proficiency in French is often required
Spouse and child sponsorship timelines are slightly different
Globexa Immigration Tip: If you’re not fluent in French, we’ll help you choose other PR-friendly provinces like Manitoba, Saskatchewan, or Nova Scotia.
9. Documentation Must Be Impeccable
Every document you submit—whether for study, PR, spouse visa, or work permit—must now meet higher IRCC standards:
Correct file names and size
Recent and certified translations
No discrepancies between application and supporting docs
Mistake = Rejection or Ban
Globexa uses a three-stage document review process before submission to ensure zero errors.
10. Fraud Prevention Is a Top Priority for IRCC in 2025
IRCC has begun cracking down on ghost consultants and fake job offer sellers. If caught submitting manipulated documents, you may face:
A 5-year ban from entering Canada
Rejection of all your future applications
Legal consequences in Canada or your home country
Important: Only work with authorized, transparent consultants like Globexa Immigration. We work with licensed RCICs and never use backdoor routes.
Final Thoughts: Apply Smart, Apply Safe with Globexa Immigration
Immigrating to Canada in 2025 is full of promise—but also full of new challenges. A wrong document, late PAL, or incorrect program selection can cost you an entire year or more. You need an expert who’s up-to-date, ethical, and 100% focused on your success.
Globexa Immigration is your trusted partner for:
Study Permits & College Admissions

🌌 Astrology in the Age of AI: Still Relevant or More Powerful?
In an era where Artificial Intelligence (AI) writes poems, predicts financial markets, and even diagnoses health conditions, it's natural to ask—where does astrology stand? Is it just a relic of the past, or has it evolved to become even more powerful in the digital age?
Surprisingly, the answer isn't what you might think.
Rather than being replaced by technology, astrology is thriving in the AI age, becoming more accessible, precise, and personalized than ever before. Let’s explore how and why—and how you can chat with astrologer online in real time to experience it for yourself.
🤖 AI Meets Astrology: A Powerful Combination
The most exciting development in modern astrology is the blend of ancient wisdom with artificial intelligence.
AI helps process complex birth charts instantly
Algorithms can analyze planetary transits in seconds
Personalized reports and predictions are more accurate and accessible
But astrology isn’t just about data. It’s about intuition, connection, and guidance—the human element that AI cannot replicate. That's why so many turn to AstroSevaTalk for real-time guidance and free chat with astrologer options.
🔭 The Timeless Relevance of Astrology
Astrology has survived over 5,000 years for one reason: it works. While the tools have changed, the core cosmic truths remain eternal.
In today’s fast-paced digital world, people are more anxious, disconnected, and overwhelmed. Here’s where astrology steps in—offering:
Self-awareness in a world that demands constant adaptation
Spiritual clarity when traditional therapy doesn’t quite reach the soul
Cosmic timing for important life decisions (relationships, career, finance) You can now talk with astrologer anytime online to understand your soul’s blueprint and receive clarity with ease.
💬 Real Conversations vs. Robotic Predictions
Many astrology apps now offer instant predictions—but there’s a huge difference between:
🧠 "You have Saturn in your 7th house, so you may face delays in marriage."
...and...
🧙♂️ "Let’s look at your Saturn placement in relation to your karmic patterns. Are you repeating the same emotional cycles?"
Only a human astrologer can ask the right questions, read your energy, and provide a nuanced interpretation. That’s why platforms like AstroSevaTalk combine technology + human wisdom, letting users chat with astrologer anytime for real-time, soul-driven answers.
🌐 How the Internet Changed Astrology Forever
Here’s how the digital revolution has amplified astrology’s power:
1. 🌍 Accessibility
Before: Wait days for a personal consultation
Now: Free chat with astrologer in minutes—anywhere in the world
2. 📊 Accuracy
AI can calculate complex charts instantly
Astrologers focus more on interpretation and guidance rather than manual math
3. 🔁 Customization
Receive predictions tailored to your life path, personality, and planetary timing
Integrate astrology into everyday decisions: love, money, career, and health
🧘♀️ Why Astrology Still Matters in a Tech-Driven World
Technology might solve external problems, but astrology nurtures the inner world. It answers questions like:
Why do I feel stuck?
Is this relationship aligned with my growth?
What is my soul’s purpose?
This is why millennials and Gen Z are turning to astrology like never before—not as superstition, but as a tool for self-understanding.
You don’t need to dive into ancient texts to get started—just talk with astrologer live and let them decode your stars for you.
🔮 Future of Astrology: AI-Powered, Human-Guided
Here’s what we’re already seeing—and what’s next:
Chatbots for astrology Q&A (already in use!)
AI-matched astrologers based on your birth chart type
Voice-to-astrology readings via smart assistants
AR/VR astrology experiences (coming soon!)
But again, the soul of astrology is human connection. A bot can’t feel your pain, see your growth, or help you heal. For that, you need to talk with astrologer who reads not just the stars, but you.
🌟 Ready to Experience Astrology in the Digital Age?
You no longer need to wait weeks or schedule appointments. Just chat with astrologer instantly through AstroSevaTalk.
✅ Ask anything—love, career, karma, or life purpose ✅ Get free chat with astrologer to start ✅ Accurate, personalized, and private
