Meanwhile in the living room, Kennedy is fully engaged in conversation with Yosef, while Savannah continues to pray that Lukas will make a move on her.
It seems her prayers were heard, because Lukas, bored to death with that jerk Orange, opts to make conversation with her. After all, Savannah is a thousand times more attractive than Orange, at least in Lukas' eyes.
Yes! Score one for Savannah, let's hope things stay that way. Sorry for Diego, who, from the way he's been looking at Savannah all afternoon, is obviously attracted to her as well.

any headcannons on bucky's hebrew name? I was thinking yosef chaim but I genuinely do not know where that idea came from... apprently james tangentially comes from yaakov though so maybe that?
also same question about magneto. wikipedia says erik means something like ruler or king, so maybe melech? or, if that's too literal, yehuda, shul, david, shlomo... I think shaul works. the midrashim are very clear that, despite it all, shaul was still a tzadik. something something great man making awful mistakes...idk
BUT if we're going by max, google is saying mordechai...thats more boring imo
sorry for rambling in your asks :>
My headcanons for Bucky's Hebrew name:
MCU Bucky: Yaakov Shimshon. His family called him Yankele and his sisters called him Yanky.
616 Bucky: Yaakov Baruch
Headcanons for Magneto's Hebrew name:
Moshe, and his mother called him Moishele
Bonus other Jewish character name headcanons:
Arnie Roth: Aharon
Anya Eisendhart: Tikvah Chana, because Max Eisendhart (Erik Lehnsherr) found comfort in the birth of his daughter after the devastation of the Holocaust, and she was his hope for the future
Quicksilver: Peretz Chaim, because he burst out with life after such immense loss (and also the Peretz in Tanakh was also a twin)
Scarlet Witch: Mazal Chava, because her birth defied bad omens and instead was a fortune for life
*Pietro and Wanda weren't given their Jewish names until later in their life when they reconnected with their Jewish heritage
Billy Kaplan: Aryeh Leib, because of his ferocity like a lion
Tommy Shepherd: Tzvi Hirsch, because of his speed like a deer/gazelle
*According to Jewish tradition, parents have a spark of prophecy when they choose the Jewish name of their children, and of course Wanda had an extra strong dose of that prophecy when naming her kids
Kitty Pryde: Chava Chana (this one is semi-canon, it's implied she's named after her aunt Chava who was killed in the Holocaust, and I added the Chana because her middle name is Anne)
Luna Maximoff: Lila
Lorna Maximoff: Hadassah

You're bewitched by the devil's lullaby Dance away in the dead of the night Hear the voices humming in your mind He will never let you out of sight
- Devil's Lullaby by Jim Yosef & Scarlett
It should burn.
The hands, the claws, the very touch should seep into your flesh like brimstone and fire, scorch through your still-white feathers like a dry thicket come alight by a sudden spark.
Every ounce of Grace still desperately singing in your blood should have long-since boiled away in the unyielding heat of Hell. And even then any denizen of the sinful Depths would see its blinding purity — and you as an extension — as nothing more than a beautiful, cloying drug promising the sweetest, most delectable high any immortal could experience.
You should be screaming in pain. Begging for mercy, praying for forgiveness, wishing and pleading for a swift end; anything other than the slow, painful drain of Grace that haunted the edges of stories told of the shadowy depths far beneath the aether of the cosmos.
And yet...
“Little thing,” a deep voice croons, low and steady while claws drag themselves through the nervous fluff of feathers that are your unkempt wings; it has been impossible to preen them properly yourself since falling over the edge of Heaven’s gates. “You’re thinkin’ a little too much again. Can see it on that pretty face.”
A second hand finds the curve of your chin and tugs it so your eyes lift and meet his.
They burn like coal, pupils white-hot and gaze burning hotter than anything you've ever seen before. Against the soft warmth of Heaven's skies, this demon lord's mere gaze is the center of a dying star, the very moment that its core implodes upon itself in a brilliant, horrible supernova.
You say nothing, but he knows he has your attention acutely.
He is Eclipse, after all, a member of the Circle of Seven and the namesake demon of Lust — who else is there for your focus to fall? It isn't like there's a more vibrant, attention-grabbing demon in his lavish mansion of a home after all. His visage is bright and hot and heavy; like a star made of lead.
It presses down over your shoulders like a heavy blanket.
"Sweet angel," he purrs, dragging those dagger-edged claws through the feathers covering your wings so gently that he manages only to pluck out the ones that are broken and loose.
Claws that can rip and tear through bone and flesh as easily as paper, claws that can maim and desecrate the floor with immortal blood with barely a glance if they so much as misspoke in earshot.
The same claws that should have burned you to ash the very moment he caught your limp, exhausted body as it had tumbled seemingly from Hell's dark sky.
The demon hums, cooing softly, "You'll burn yourself out thinkin' that hard, darling. No need for those silly. Little. Thoughts."
Eclipse emphasizes each word with a gentle tap to the tip of your nose, grinning wide and sharp with a maw of teeth that you know have ripped lesser demons apart.
You'd heard tales of Asmodeus, the official title given to the demon lord of lust, but you'd never imagine he would be like this. His body is tall and thin, face haloed by what seems to be a mockery of sunrays that glow a bright cherry red when he gets agitated. The flare of fire around his void-dark face was mostly at demons who prostrated themselves before him in the hope that he would offer them even a shred of his infernal power.
He never does.
Some are allowed to leave with a burning threat, while others are simply massacred on the spot; at least Eclipse has taken to using one of his massive hands to shield your eyes when he does it, quickly realizing the sight of shredded viscera bothered you deeply.
He spent hours consoling you after that first time, when all you can remember is the color of crimson staining the walls; that was also when the demon first started to call you his.
Never once did the dark, haunted stories of this terrible demon mention how gentle he can be. How his voice can feel like a soft breeze against your cheek and the half-remembered sound of home. How, when he soothes you with honeyed words, your body feels safe and warm and small and perfect—
"That's it," he coos, feeling you grow lax and loose against his chest again, wings unfolded so he could reach every inch from the base to the very tips. "Sweet little angel mine, you'll want for nothing if you just let me do all the hard thinking for you. Yes... Just relax, sleep. Sleeeeeep...."
You shouldn't feel so comforted by his words, his soothing touch, his burning hot presence pressing against you like a safety blanket.
His promises should be threats, his love should be loathing, his adoration should be the promise of pain and suffering — he should be supping from your Grace like a fine wine until nothing of you is left but a hollowed husk of a creature no longer welcome beyond the gilded embrace of Heaven's Gates.
So why do you feel safe?
"Sleep now," the words drift through the air like a promise. "Let go."
Eclipse may not be your kidnapper, but you are trapped all the same; a feeble bird in a burning cage, where the flames reaching between the bars threaten to blacken your feathers and rend every drop of heavenly light from your veins.
Can you even escape back to the holy light of Heaven? And, assuming that you even can eventually find a way back...
"Hush now, sweet one, and sleep for me. Don't fear for a moment, don't want for a thing — you're mine, after all."
... will you still want to leave?
"My beautiful little angel."
The warm embrace of unconsciousness had never felt so wonderful before.
So warm, so sweet, so addictingly perfect.

A riot broke out in a historic Brooklyn synagogue when a group of rebellious Orthodox men tried to stop police and construction crews from filling in a secret tunnel they illegally dug to reach a closed-down women’s bath.
The enraged men, thought to be mostly in their teens and early 20s, were filmed tearing down wood panels and wooden support beams Monday at the Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters in Crown Heights.
Other footage from the temple on Eastern Parkway showed cops trying to hold back dozens of Hasidic Jewish men as they pushed their way into the 20-foot-wide enclosure underneath the women’s section, toppling over wooden pews in their anger.
Synagogue leader Rabbi Yosef Braun condemned those involved, saying they arrived “ready to destroy and deface the Holy Walls” — calling it “mind-boggling.”
Members of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement have reportedly been digging a tunnel under the Crown Heights synagogue for nearly a year.
It was apparently designed to reach an abandoned women’s mikvah — or ritual bath — around the corner and “expand” the synagogue, according to the Jewish outlet Forward, but it is unclear what motivated the members of the Chabad-Lubavitch community to start digging the passage.
The tunnel was finally discovered last month when neighbors reported suspicious noises coming from underneath their homes, Israel National News reports.
A video posted on CrownHeights.Info’s Instagram in December showed a dark, dirt-walled space in the recesses of the shuttered women’s mikvah nearby.
Following the discovery, the synagogue leadership called in structural engineers to assess the damage, and on Monday cement mixers arrived to fill it in — sparking the riot.
The Hasidic men appeared to use a hammer to break through the synagogue’s brick walls.
A few even managed to make their way into the makeshift tunnel, with video showing at least one man brazenly drinking out of a can inside the tunnel as cops tried to hold off the others who were trying to get inside.
Some of the rioters were also seen jeering at the cops and filming their efforts to get inside the tunnel, according to Forward.
Officers were also seen holding back men outside the 100-year-old synagogue, the headquarters of one of the largest groups of Hasidic Jews in the world.
After several hours, footage showed officers taking the men out of the tunnel in handcuffs.
At least a dozen men were taken into custody, sources told The Post. Ten received criminal misdemeanor charges, another was charged with obstructing governmental administration and one other received a summons for disorderly conduct, sources said.
No injuries were reported in the brawl.
Rabbi Braun urged other members of the Jewish community “to call them out in all possible ways and strong terms.”
Braun was horrified that they defaced the “shul,” or synagogue, saying to that “demolish and destroy a shul — never mind the dangerous aspect, never mind the religious aspect — it’s mind-boggling.
“They need to be put in their place, put in their place in so many meanings of the word,” he said.
The riot came amid ongoing disputes over who legally owns the property.
In a statement following the altercation, Chabad-Lubavitcher Rabbi Motti Seligson noted that the movement has “attempted to gain proper control of the premises through the New York State court system.”
“Unfortunately, despite consistently prevailing in court, the process has dragged on for years.”
Still, he too condemned the actions of the young men who brawled with the police, branding them “extremists” and saying their actions have forced the city to temporarily close the building pending a structural safety review.
“This is, obviously, deeply distressing to the Lubavitch movement and the Jewish community worldwide,” he wrote on X.
“We hope and pray to be able to expeditiously restore the sanctity and decorum of this holy place.”
Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, the Chabad-Lubavitch chairman, also issued a statement thanking the NYPD for its assistance.
“The Chabad-Lubavitch community is pained by the vandalism of a group of young agitators who damaged the synagogue below Chabad Headquarters,” he said.
“These odious actions will be investigated and the sanctity of the synagogue will be restored.
“Our thanks to the NYPD for their professionalism and sensitivity,” he continued. “We are grateful for the outpouring of concern, and for our Chabad Lubavitch institutions around the world.”

So before Bloomburrow comes out I at least one to get out one MH 3 ask, so could you tell me about your walkers Origin card?
Sorry for the late reply on this (and honestly being super neglectful of my inbox in general). Life has been a little busy as of late, though at least things are generally well!
ANYWAY, to answer your ask, I actually made an Origin card for my fanwalker, Joseph Kabox!
On the front, we have Josef, Lambholt Youth, depicting my fanwalker before his spark ignited, as a child on Innistrad. Hailing from a rather Germanic inspired plane, his name was originally Josef (said as Yosef).
As far as the front half's abilities, the two tokens he creates reference his mother and father, who both died during a vampire attack - the same attack that resulted in Joseph's spark igniting. This is referenced in his other ability requiring at least two creatures to die in order to transform him, and the destruction of target creature is in reference to how, as his spark ignited, he was able to kill the vampire in a burst of magical energy.
On the back, we have Joseph Kabox, Student of Bant, depicting Joseph as a young adult on Alara. Having landed on the shard of Bant after igniting his spark, Josef eventually came to be known as Joseph, more closely fitting the naming conventions of the plane, and somewhat symbolically showing his acceptance of Bant as his home.
His +1 ability is meant to represent the various soldiers he came to befriend and know during his time on Bant, more specifically Atax and Piramessa, a Rhox and an Aven that were his closest friends.
His +3 is meant to symbolize both his education on Bant, growing and learning about life and the world around him, but also his time shortly after leaving Alara, discovering new planes and new things.
His final -7 is ultimately meant to represent an event that happened when he witnessed Atax fall in battle - an event that would kickstart his rediscovery of his powers as a planeswalker, and ultimately him leaving Alara for greener pastures. In the battle that saw the death of Atax, Joseph lost control of his emotions, creating an elemental from the wellspring of mana both bottled up within himself for so many years, and on the battlefield around him. This elemental then aided in the rest of the conflict, before fading away, back into the world.
I hope you enjoyed this analysis of my origin-style sparker card for Joseph. I created this card some time ago, and I've been quite happy with it. I think it captures his early life well, and flows well enough into his future fan cards and his future identity as a character. Thank you so much for asking!

2.8 JOE BIDEN, THE NEXT MESSIAH?
JERUSALEM, 2046 - BREAKING RELIGIOUS NEWS! As the heads of the moderate Islamic movement, Christianity, and Judaism have convened in the great hall of all religions (a memorial to the destroyed city of Jerusalem). They have declared a clone of the former president of the United States, Joe Biden, as the reckoning of the last age. He is now officially and religiously, the Messiah, the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ, and the Al Mahdi, all in one.
This has come to shock as the world is now experiencing the last age, and the great leaders of the world have declared that this era will be the last era of humanity. As Joe Biden, now Yosef ben David will lead all of the Abrahamic religions to paradise, as he is one, the Guardian of the Tawhid, the Holy Spirit, and the Chosen Child of Hashem, to lead the armies of the faithful to battle.
In response, SAFLA has declared their own leader as the Mahdi, in a display of extreme showmanship that has sparked a morale boost to SAFLA. Now, only God knows where humanity will go!

We may go down into ourselves with a flashlight, looking for the evil we have intended or done — not to excise it as some alien growth, but rather to discover the holy spark within it. Rabbi Yakov Yosef of Polnoye taught: The essence of the finest Teshuvah (the return to one's Source in Heaven) is that deliberate sins are transformed into merits. So it was that the Ba'al Shem Tov interpreted the verse from Proverbs, "Turn aside from evil and do good" to mean "Turn evil into good."
Inner healing requires self-acceptance. Rebbe Nachman of Bratslav offered the following strategy: When all we see and feel is negativity, we must search within ourselves for an aspect of goodness, what he called a white dot within the black, and then find another and another until these dots form musical notes. Our task, he said, is to find enough white notes to form a melody — a melody that will define our core and affirm our fundamental goodness.
The Talmud tells us that in the world to come, everyone will be called to account for all the desires they might have fulfilled in this world but chose not to. The things we desire — the desires themselves — are sacred. Who put them in our hearts if not God?
But we have been taught to be ashamed of what we want; our desires become horribly distorted and cause us to do terribly hurtful things. Even a betrayal as painful as adultery might turn out to have its roots in a perfectly innocent desire — in the desire to be loved, to have our experience be intense and exciting — and if we could acknowledge these innocent desires, we might not feel compelled to act them out in such hurtful ways.
this is real and you are completely unprepared, alan lew, 2003

ZOT HABERACHA/SIMCHAT TORAH
bs'd Shalom. Exiting news: My second book "Conquering Anger", just went out. It's a very practical guide on developing a deeper understanding of anger and how to eradicate it. A thought from it: "Parents must realize the importance of disciplining their children. Proper discipline is not cruelty, it is education (chinuch). Discipline is necessary for a child’s emotional development, because it teaches him about the fundamental concept of authority." Buy my book at http://www.feldheim.com/healing-anger.html If you want to buy it from me in Israel let me know. To join the over 5,000 recipients in English and Spanish and receive these insights free on a weekly email, feedback, comments, which has been all around the world, or if you know any other Jew who is interested in receiving these insights weekly, contact me. You have the opportunity to share in the mitzvah to honor a loved one by sponsoring my weekly review, or refua shelema (healing), shiduch, Hatzlacha. Feel free to print copies of this essay and distribute for the public in your local shul. Have a healthy Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach. ZOT HABERACHA/SIMCHAT TORAH-The Final Lesson The last pasuk of the Torah is a praise for Moshe Rabenu[1], “the strong hand and awesome power that Moshe performed before the eyes of all Israel”. Rashi explains citing the Midrash that, “before the eyes of all Israel” refers to Moshe’s decision to break the luchot in front of all the Jewish people. Why of all Moshe’s great deeds, does the Torah single this one out at its end as perhaps the greatest of them all? Chazal offer a profound insight to answer this question [2]. Moshe invested great effort for many years in bringing the Jewish people from slavery in Mitzrayim to Matan Torah, and he spent forty days without food or drink fending off the angels and securing the luchot for Am Israel. When he returned from Har Sinai and saw the people worshiping the Golden Calf he realized that they were not on the level to receive the luchot and he destroyed them. However, what a great test must have been to forsake all that effort and energy that he had invested to get to this moment. Moshe could have rationalized that although they did not deserve the luchot now, perhaps things would change soon and it wasn’t necessary to destroy them right away. He showed total integrity and intellectual honesty to break the luchot because that was the correct course of action. Sometimes, we are placed in similar situations to that of Moshe Rabenu; we invest time, money or energy into something and then we are faced with the possibility that we have made a mistake and need to start again or that there is a new turn of events that makes our original stand obsolete. We are greatly tempted in such instances to dig our heels in and stand by our initial plan against our better judgment. It is very hard to admit that we are wrong or need to start again after putting in so much effort into something. Maybe the most difficult aspect of knocking down what we have already built is that we are showing that we have made a mistake. It is extremely difficult for most people to admit that their opinions, lifestyle or attitude is wrong. Maybe this is the main factor that prevents non-religious people from changing their lifestyle is that to do so would mean admitting that all of their life up till this point was based on a mistake. Rav Chaim Shmuelevitz zt”l brings an example of how a person can become so obtuse that he cannot change even when placed under extreme pressure[3]. After the destruction of Yericho, Yehoshua placed a curse on anyone who would rebuild it. In the time of king Achav, a man named Chiel decided to defy the curse and rebuild Yericho[4]. When he laid the foundations, his first-born died, and as he continued building his sons continued dying one by one until when he completed the city his youngest son also passed away. How can a person be so foolish to continue in a path that causes his misery and destruction?! Shlomo haMelech says [5], “A person’s every way is upright in his eyes”… He was so convinced in the rightness of his actions that he preferred to bury all his sons over admitting that he was wrong! In contrast the Gemara [6] shows an example of the greatness involved in admitting one’s mistakes. The Tanna Shimon HaAmsoni used to explain every word ‘et’[את] in the Torah provides a secondary meaning to the subject mentioned. For example, in the mitzva of honoring parents, there is an ‘et’ from which he derived the inclusion of older siblings. Consequently a person must honor his parents and also his elder siblings. However, with the pasuk, “Et Hashem Elokecha tira” he was unable to find a secondary recipient of the fear that we must feel for Hashem. His talmidim asked him, “what about all the instances where you have explained the word ’et’”? He replied, “Just as I have been rewarded for expounding them, so shall I rewarded now for abandoning them.” Rabbi Akiva came and taught that the ’et’ in the pasuk teaches us that a person must fear G-d and also talmide chachamim. The greatness [7] of Shimon HaAmsoni, was that he did not hesitate to abandon the teaching that he had held and developed throughout his life when he felt that he could no longer justify it. Moreover, he taught his talmidim a priceless lesson that abandoning his teaching which was done in a moment, was as great as all the investigating and explaining he had done all his life! This lesson is connected to Simchat Torah with which Vezot Habracha always coincides. We end the Torah and then immediately restart it again, reading the opening pasukim of Bereshit. This alludes to us that even though we have completed the whole Torah, we should not feel that we do not need to repeat it again. We can relearn it and develop new insights, sometimes even contradicting our present understanding and we should not feel embarrassed to acknowledge that we were wrong. [Remarkably, in Lashon HaKodesh the words “review” and “different” are represented by the same word — “shoneh.” This teaches us that the purpose of reviewing is not merely to repeat the old; it is to reach new levels of understanding]. This does not only apply to pshatim on the Gemara but also to our outlook on life; if we see that a part of our hashkafa seems to not fully fit with Torah hashkafa, then we must be willing to honestly assess how we can change it. This idea is also alluded to in the marriage ceremony[8]. When the chatan breaks a glass, most commentators explain that this is a remembrance of the destruction of the Bet HaMikdash. However, one commentator connects this custom to the breaking of the luchot. Why do we need to be reminded of that event during a wedding? To teach the new couple that in order for their marriage to work, they must strive to emulate Moshe Rabenu’s actions in breaking the luchot. In order for a marriage to work, husband and wife must be willing to act with great honesty and admit their mistakes rather than stand on their pride. Both need to be prepared to let go of their preconceived notions and prejudices and strive for truth. These are not easy demands, but if we see that Moshe was ready to break the most valuable thing in the world because it was the right thing to do, then we too can surely be prepared to make changes when it is clearly the Ratson Hashem, as it is written[9], “Do what is right and good in G-d's eyes” . ______________________________________________ [1] Vezot HaBeracha 34:12.

Joseph Kabox
Name: Joseph Kabox
Pronouns: He/Him
Species: Human Werewolf
Age: Early 20s
Plane of Origin: Innistrad
First Planeswalk: Bant, Alara
Colors: White, Green, Blue
Appearance: Joseph is a fair skinned human, with an athletic build and average height, topped with a head of curly, brown hair that matches the color of his eyes. He’s typically seen wearing glasses - whether due to uncured eye issues or personal preference is unknown - and he has a light scar tracing the left side of his face. Under his clothing, he has various other scarring from past encounters, though healing spells have repaired most of the damage.
Art by Aurorie
Backstory: Born on Innistrad, Joseph’s spark ignited as a child, when his family was killed by a vampire. Due to this traumatizing encounter, Joseph’s spark ignited, and he was whisked away to the shard of Bant, of the broken plane of Alara.
On Bant, Joseph was raised by the motherly rhox, Trasa, at the monastery of Vinh the August, and trained at the Valeron Seaside Military Academy until he was of age to become a soldier.
Shortly after joining the army of Bant during the Conflux, Joseph was reacquainted with his abilities as a planeswalker, due to the death of a longtime friend during combat. In a move of self preservation and grief, Joseph chose to leave Alara, wanting to make a new life for himself, away from the painful memories.
After a time of exploration and repression, Joseph eventually found his journey leading back to Innistrad. There, after seeing the hardships of the plane in Avacyn’s initial absence, he took up monster hunting, in the hopes of protecting Innistrad’s people.
During his time on Innistrad, while hunting a pack of werewolves, Joseph would meet an invaluable friend – Sophia, a young gryff. After finding her as a foal in the care of her mother, being attacked by the werewolves he sought, he gave it his all to protect them. While he was able to kill the werewolves and save the foal, he was unable to save the mother.
Feeling deep sympathy and regret for the foal and the loss of her mother, remembering his own similar loss, he took it upon himself to take her in, caring for her where her mother no longer could. Naming her Sophia, after his own mother, the two grew to share an inseparable bond.
As word spread on Innistrad of a hunter fighting alongside a young gryff, Joseph was eventually sought out by the angel, Mathilde, requesting him to join her band of cathars, seeking to purge Innistrad of its evil in Avacyn’s stead. Though reluctant, Joseph and Sophia agreed to join, if only to aide in Innistrad’s protection.
Their campaign against the darkness proved successful at first, however, things changed when their travels brought them to a coven of witches. While the rumor had been that the coven had kidnapped local villagers for some kind of ritual, in reality, the coven were exposed as a pack of werewolves, seeking to curse the villagers with lycanthropy through the use of a brewing potion.
Luckily, the ensuing scuffle resulted in the cauldron containing their cursed potion spilling onto the ground, saving the villagers. Joseph, however, was not so lucky.
Being overpowered by their leader, Joseph was pushed down into the puddle of spilled potion, and while he was able to kill the werewolf, she had forced him to consume a portion of it beforehand, cursing him in the process.
After the encounter, Joseph was placed in custody by the cathars, in the event he would transform. Sure enough, he did, and managed to escape his prison and into the night.
As the cathars he once worked with hunted him down, Sophia sought to find him first. Confronting him in the nearby forest, she pleaded with his feral mind, hoping to reach the friend she’d grown with since their meeting. While at first his bestial half threatened to kill the young gryff, her mind touched his, and their souls became linked. With their bond, she managed to pull Joseph from the depths of his mind, and he returned to his human form, just as the cathars had arrived to kill him.
At Mathilde’s command, she allowed Joseph and Sophia their freedom, honoring the choice of an animal as holy as a gryff.
With Sophia at his side, doing her best to keep his curse in check, Joseph now wanders plane to plane, seeking to find a cure, while also protecting those in need.
Magic/Abilities: Having been educated and trained at Valeron Seaside Academy on Alara, Joseph is skilled in their brand of combat and swordplay, horsemanship, as well as certain types of magic. Due to this, and his upbringing at the monastery of Vinh the August, Joseph has come to favor bolstering spells, enchanting himself, as well as his allies, in addition to a small selection of healing spells. In times of great need, he’s also been shown to have the ability to summon soldiers to aide him in combat, however, these manifestations are weak and serve merely as a distraction more times than not. In one instance, immediately after the death of a close friend during combat, he was even shown to summon an elemental to aide him.
Gear: Being an adventurer, Joseph’s attire and equipment often reflect this. When out traveling, he often brings along his satchel, in which he stores his various magical tomes and scrolls, journals, and other supplies he may need. He’s also rarely seen without his sword – a moonsilver Innistradi sword, originally owned by his grandmother, a former cathar, and eventually passed to him after the death of his family. Minor articles of his clothing also include his glasses, which he’s never seen without, and a blessed moonsilver necklace, sporting a pendant engraved with Avacyn’s holy symbol. Lastly, Joseph is often seen wearing a leather belt around his torso, affixed to which are various gold buckles. While seemingly just an article of clothing, the buckles are actually what remains of the sigils Joseph had earned on Bant, having melted them down out of shame of leaving his home there, but keeping them around for the minor enchantments they give him.
Card:
Other:
Joseph’s name is technically pronounced as Yosef, however, after arriving on Bant, he took on the pronunciation of Josef, due to the way the locals said it.
Joseph was a member of the Azorius guild on Ravnica for a time. Just one of many tidbits about his life experienced during his travels.
Joseph has a role play blog, which you can find here!
