Chloe perked up at Jake's suggestion to look at the cameras. How could she not have thought of that. "That's a really good idea." Could this finally be over? All she had to do was get a good look and picture of whoever this person was and they could end this. Chloe didn't know about Jake but she was so ready for this to be over. Her hand went to the waistband of her skirt to grab he phone but her movements stopped once she felt Jake's hand overtop of hers. Her head lifted and she looked up at him. Though she knew that was only an attempt to make her feel better she still gave him a small close lipped smile and a nod. "I just really need all of this to be over." She said in a low tone. Her thumb grazed the top of his hand while her other hand unlocked her phone to get a good look at the footage.

Unfortunately for Chloe, whoever this person was, was unidentifiable. She should have guessed whoever this was wasn't going to be stupid enough to try and pull this off without some kind of disguise. Her shoulders sunk. "It's just some freak wearing all black with a mask." Before her heart could sink anymore, something caught her attention. "Wait, they left something." She scrolled in closer to something she'd seen sitting on the kitchen table. When she saw what it was she gasped and her mouth fell open. "Oh my God..." The words came out before she could stop them. Taking her hand from Jake's grasp she locked her phone and pocketed it. "I- I have to go back downstairs." She choked out starting to carefully get up. Going to the dining room was a bad idea for many reasons but right now all she could think about was having to explain the dead flowers to the cops that assured them a while ago they'd be there soon. She didn't have enough energy or brain power to cover her ass, not right now.

Jake didn't know what to do. On one hand, he wanted to be there for Chloe and help her through this. But on the other hand, he couldn't stop watching the window, wondering if that familiar cloak and mask would appear in Chloe's bedroom, knife in hand. Then something dawned on Jake. Earlier when Chloe let them inside her father's home, he recalled her disarming the security system. Her father had cameras all over the property. Jake's family had a similar setup. That was how Nina was able to blackmail everyone. She hacked into their homes and used whatever she could find on them as blackmail. It was possible Chloe could see everything going on inside her house before the cops get here.

"Your dad's cameras. Do you have, like, an app to view them? Maybe we can spot this person. See who they are or where they're at..." It was worth a try. Jake leans away from the window and scoots a little closer to Chloe. He could tell she was shaken up. He'd spent twenty two years quietly observing Brooke. Not unlike Chloe, Brooke kept everything inside too. If he wanted to know something, he'd have to pay attention. Now he was an expert at it. Placing a hand over top of hers, he laces their fingers and holds on reassuringly. "It's probably just some dickhead playing a prank." Even he knows that's not true. One look at the security footage and Chloe would know it's not true either. The killer was gone but the present he left behind was still there on the table.

Playable reader but they're the only one who has a second stamina bar when gliding/swimming. When the first bar runs out of stamina, Dottore automatically switches in with a line scolding them for straining themself or light-heartedly teasing them since they need to be carried now that they are tired.

He doesn't switch in when they're sprinting though, I imagine that canonically - not gameplay wise, he's just walking behind them, watching them run around. He's marvelling at how far they've come, going from bed-ridden to jumping everywhere and running circles around him.

As for climbing? There's a small chance of triggering a rare voice-line, so small that the players who found it thought it was part of an event or a side-quest.

Dottore, sighing exasperated: "Get down from there before you exhaust yourself."

Reader, grunting in strain but is still climbing: "Hold on— I think I'm almost there, I have to see what's up here. You'll catch me if I fall!"

Dottore: "And if I don't?"

Reader: "Wha— what do you mean 'if you don't...?!"

Dottore: "..."

Reader: "Dottore? Dottie—? Dot...! You're... you're still down there, right...? I can't look down..."

MY FAVORITE META CUTIE PIE COUPLE. Reader would always try to prove to Dottore that they don't need that much help anymore, which is true... to a certain extent. It's very obvious to Dottore whenever you push yourself, so while he usually prefers to lay back and carefully watch what you do, he'll always jump in when he feels it's necessary.

"Hey, I... I was fine to keep g-going..."

"Stop being foolish and listen to your doctor."

"Ugh... my back hurts now."

"You poor thing, shall I carry you?"

"No! I'm fine! ...I think."

AGREED!! Dottore (or another segment) is always just a few steps behind you. He's very much content to see you explore the oddities of the world (which are so very normal and boring to him, but interesting to you after being away for so long), mentally taking notes about how much you've changed and any abnormalities in your condition. He'll watch you jump up to pick some fruits for the two of you and skip back to him. He'll watch you tussle with a fishing rod and fight to reel in some fish for dinner. He loves watching you be confident in yourself just as you once were. Of course, if any danger were to appear, then he's in front of you again quicker than one can imagine. (Gameplay-wise, it's much more optimal for the player to use Dottore while running, otherwise, they'll have to deal with Reader complaining quite frequently...)

Climbing is probably the scariest part for Reader, but they can't help but want to challenge it sometimes! It's... not the easiest, but they can do it! Especially when they have Dottore in case of anything!

...Hopefully. You're well aware of Dottore's mean and sarcastic side, even if you're not the target of it the most often. Unfortunately, sometimes he uses it to scare you out of potentially dangerous situations for your body. It's for your own good, I promise.

Me and my family are on vacation and came across this little beauty. Sadly he/she is unable to fly, it's tried but can't. We have no vet or wild life experts anywhere near us (and I mean like VERY far at least a day or two journey to get to one by car) and are trying to take care of the little beauty ourselves. Keep in mind we are no bird experts but have been researching articles on what to do. We have come to the conclusion that if we don't help it, it will die. There is no nest to give it back to either, so we cannot do that. We've been feeding it flys we catch but because these birds can eat up to 3x their own body (at least that's what Google says) we don't know if we're going it enough.

It's alright day 2 with it, and it's thankfully doing way better, it can flap it's wings a little, but still can't fly. Sadly his/her legs are still not functioning. The little guy is currently laying down in my mom's hands that she's using to keep it nice and warm. Sadly we are currently in a very low population area (farm land/little village) and have limited resources. Trying our best and hopefully we can see this amazing little beauty get better soon.

I will keep this updated if not for you then for my future self.

Any advice would be VERY appreciated.
