Trans man: i made this art about my dysphoria growing up and how i have to catch up with all the years i lost to it. It's the first thing Steve says after everything.

After getting Vecna Cursed. After nearly dying. After a hallucination of Eddie saved him. After running through a looped forest. After finding sanctuary in Steve's memory of that Starcourt bathroom. After Eddie reveals himself as Eddie.

It's the only thing he can think of. It's not big enough to fit everything, but it's the only thing that fits in his mouth.

"Don't be."

Maybe that's the only thing Eddie can think of too. The only thing Eddie can bear to say.

Because don't be can't stop Steve's eyes from watering when he sees the vest in his closet. Don't be can't stop Steve's feet from dragging him to the cemetery every evening to clean Eddie's graffiti-covered tombstone. Don't be can't stop Steve from sitting beside Wayne and listening to him talk about the Eddie he remembers. Don't be can't stop Eddie's body from showing up in Steve's dreams, nor Eddie's corpse from his nightmares. Don't be couldn't keep the pain away enough, didn't stop Vecna from latching onto it while Steve was walking alone in the woods.

Don't be isn't enough for what Steve wants to hear. But even stuck here waiting, hoping, for someone to get Steve out, there just isn't enough time.

"I miss you."

"...Why?"

Eddie says it back so quickly, so quietly, like it's just unfathomable to him. Maybe it is, considering their last memories. But their eyes meet and he looks just as sad, just as longing, as Steve.

"You were my friend."

Steve can't help but say it like that. Like they were friends for years instead of days. Like Eddie was that important to him in their final moments. Like his heart really aches for Eddie every second of the apocalypse.

Can't help but say it like he means it.

"I wish we could've had more time..."

Steve's voice cracks a little there as he turns away, hiding. It's all he wants. It's all Vecna used to entice him with. It's all that's keeping him going, to finally fulfill the last request Eddie made. It's all he has left to feel close to Eddie.

The Eddie that's sitting right next to him, silent, his sight weighing on Steve's skin. Conscious and aware and the real Eddie. Trapped in Vecna's head as a backup power source, yet who still risked everything to come save Steve. Who Steve will never see again because killing Vecna means killing Eddie for good, and his heart doesn't want it, is begging for another solution...

But for once, his broken head overpowers his shattered heart.

"Maybe we did."

Eddie takes Steve's hand. Meets Steve's surprised look with his own small smile of hope. They're both suddenly tearing up, eyes glistening with life in this gray stall.

"Maybe in another world, we got a second first chance. A first second chance. Maybe even a third, or fourth. Maybe in a different life, we had everything we wanted. Because you, Steve Harrington, are too good for me to be doomed to meet just once."

And for a moment, Steve sees it. Feels it. Versions of them connected through the universe.

Little kids playing in the lake. One with bruised skin and shaved hair, loud but unfathomably lonely. One with a bruised heart and soft eyes, timid but stubbornly hopeful.

A rockstar with glittering chains, center stage in the spotlight. A set of eyes in the crowd or behind the curtain, watching only him.

A werewolf and a vampire, two cryptids of horror, meeting in the dead of a full moon night to feel safe with the only other one who understands.

Two actors, finding an easy friendship in the months of filming one season of a show that would change their lives.

In that moment, Steve's overwhelmed by the closeness he suddenly feels with the soul beside him. Falling into tears, he pulls Eddie into a tight hug, holding him so so close to convey everything he can't say. Feeling Eddie hold him back, hearing everything Eddie can't say in return.

Familiar music comes on outside the stall. Robin's voice calls out to him, telling him to come home.

And when he does leave, Steve hopes that someone out there will understand that he never can. Because here in Eddie's arms is the only place that will ever truly feel like home.

Can we just all agree that while there is somewhat of a transmasc culture what we each individually think of as trasnmasc is not representative of every transmasc person? Yes, some people (of any ethnicity) partake in the fluffy hair, ukulele, Kai/Alex/Oliver type of transmasc and some people don’t. Some people (of any ethnicity) wear Hawaiian shirts and listen to tally hall and some people don’t. Some people dress in a way that represents their culture. PERSONALITY

Daisuke is an obsessive, delusional and remorseful yandere. One that's absolutely smitten with being in love with you.

His obsession stems from a place of reverence. He sees you as this perfect person who is everything he didn't know he wanted. It's such a coincidence that he'd ever get to meet you out of the billions of other people in the world that it almost feels like fate is trying to throw him a bone. Maybe you're made for eachother, he hopes so.

But it's also influenced by insecurity. There's this sense of urgency behind every second of his life now that he's met you. He's stuck between the fear of getting rejected and the urge to lock you down before this trip ends and you walk back out of his life forever. He can't waste this amazing opportunity now that he's met you, so he overthinks every little microism and interaction he might have with you in a neurotic way.

Daisuke's delusions are connected to his fanatical mannerisms. You are his dream person, so you can do no wrong. You're incapable of any deliberate transgression and if somebody is upset at you then it's entirely their fault for misunderstanding. He's happy to play mind games. If he ever catches himself disagreeing with you then he'll try to convince himself that you're right. You could tell him that 2 + 4 is 10 and he'd spend hours trying to prove your equation for you on Swansea's whiteboard. You could kick him in the nuts and he'd still tell you it was hilarious whilst curled up on the floor and crying.

He's an absolute enabler. This means that if you want something he's the first one to comply. He's the definition of a yes man, he'll never say no because he's just lucky to even be invited along! He wants to show his support, and it definitely has nothing to do with how frightened he is that maybe you won't like him back if he ever has a different opinion. He's scared of coming across as a controlling guy because you won't be into that, right? He figures that his best shot of wooing you is to act just like you, because you're the coolest person he knows.

His remorse comes from struggling with his emotions. When he gets jealous it destroys him because being difficult and angry is the antithesis of his regular personality. He feels ashamed and scared of these new bad emotions, and knows on a deeper level that at least those ones aren't healthy. He's never felt so deeply for another person and it's beautiful, he's so grateful for it, but he's worried that he won't be able to keep it together and might hurt you in the process.

When he's really thinking about it, he's aware of how dependent he is on you. You make him feel so good, the best he's ever felt in his whole life. But then you also make him feel absolutely horrible when you aren't near or paying him enough attention. Sometimes he's scared that you won't be into a super sappy guy like him...

HANGING OUT

Daisuke is absolutely the type of guy to use the yawn and stretch method when he's sat next to you, except he's always too chicken to actually follow through. He wants to put his arm around you so badly, but he'll get to the pinical of his fake yawn and realise that he's much too scared to actually make a move on you. He'll try again and again and end up stuck like that, with his arms raised in the same spot and repeatedly side eyeing you until you wonder just how tired this guy is. Then after an embarrassingly long stretch he'll let them flop down again, dejected.

He really, really likes to match you. Whether it be the amount of steps you're taking to get to a place, the particular way that you swing your arms when you're walking, maybe the tempo of your breathing. You're more likely to notice how he picks the same food item as you whenever you're in the lounge, but if you ever ask about it he'll just laugh and insist that it's his favorite too! Unless it's not your favorite, then it's actually his second favorite, and your favorite is his favorite.

He also mimics your body language because he once saw online that parroting behaviour can make someone like you. He crosses his legs when you cross your legs, shifts in his seat and leans on his hands the way that you do too. He copies the things that you say and uses them like a kid who's just learnt how to swear.

Daisuke likes to see you having fun far too much to ever justify pulling you away from the group, but he will try to get alone time with you whenever he can. This leads to awkwardly meeting you in the hallways and coincidentally taking his breaks at the same time that you are. Sometimes you might see him peeking in through the window of whatever room that you're working in, and when he notices that you've caught him he'll try to act like he was just walking past. He'll duck his head back and then stiffly pass the door again just to try and sell it.

He's very performative for you. He's the type of guy to jump in front of whatever he perceives a threat to you. This could be a bug or someone twice his size. He will comically roll up his sleeves and try to crack his neck, maybe even uttering a dead serious "let me take care of this, babe." even if he won't win. Anything for your attention and a chance to display his devotion.

LOVING YOU

Daisuke's love language is messy. He's a big fan of all of them, but if they were going to be put on a list then it'd probably go:

Acts of service.

Quality time.

Physical affection.

Words of affirmation.

Gift giving.

He enjoys physical touch a lot. He likes to always have a hand on you if you've given him the green light for physical contact. It helps with his separation anxiety. His hands can never be still even if they're on you though. He'll use your hand like a stress toy, squeezing and fidgeting with it, swinging it around, pulling and stretching out your fingers until you ball your fist up.

But of course just being around you means everything to him as well. That's why quality time is higher on the list.

Unfortunately on the Tulpar he doesn't have a lot of free time to spend with you. He counts down the hours on the clock until he can next see you, eager for the opportunity to say "I need to use the bathroom" to Swansea again so that he can wander the hallways and try to peep on whatever room you're working in.

Because of the free time issue and the fear of making you uncomfortable with unwanted physical touch, he finds that the best way to show his affections is through acts of service. He'll hold open doors by waving his arm through the sensor repeatedly even if you're at the opposite end of a hallway, he'll be the first to answer any question you ask like "what time is it?" and he'll make you a coffee when Swansea is waiting for his own, but it's going cold because Daisuke is searching the ship for you instead.

He's more comfortable giving compliments than receiving them because he's not used to being praised, but that's not to say he doesn't adore it if you do. Just don't expect him to know how to accept a compliment. He's going to hit every single one back at you with a "nooo, you're way better-" like you're playing a tennis match.

Gift giving is at the bottom, but only because he can't give you anything on the Tulpar. He'll try to sneak you pilfered packets of sweetener if you'll accept them, but if you don't want those then there's not much he can offer you. If you were on earth then he'd spend all of his allowance on pretty things for you. Snacks, trinkets and dates too if you'd go on one with him. He'd like to take you thrifting one day. He'd also like to marry you, but that's a little later down the line.

Idk what term to use) European, like, he's half german (jew, not very religious jew, he does celebrate Christmas and valentines, he sometimes doesn't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), he's also half British, kinda, he has Scottish and Irish parts, he is also part Greek, he has some Italian, French, and Russian descent and you get what I mean

Between the Hernández twins, Taylor is secretly the older one, Tyler swears he's older though

Aiden had a very diverse music taste, and he also knows practically all the tiktok audios

When Ashlyn was younger, she wouldn't do jackshit in sports, like, she would just stand around and do nothing, watching as the other kids played with a blank face (this: 😐)

Ben makes paper flowers for the group with their favorite colors, and he also did calligraphy so he knows a one or two things

When Tay and Ty were younger, Taylor would always tell Tyler to shut up

Let's get back to the Aiden hc, Logan's the same, this is how they bonded, they're best friends (in my head), like, Logan also has a very diverse music taste, he mostly listens to Cavetown, Alec Benjamin, TV girl, The Neighborhood and some other stuff, but still, a very diverse listener, and sometimes, Aiden would just say a random audio and Logan would just unconsciously continue it

Ben likes to pet the others, like when they're sitting down, he just likes to put his hand on their head, and pat

Ashlyn's hair was mostly straight for a while but ever since she started doing braids and how often she'd keep them in, they just started to curl and stay that whole for a while (idk hair stuff ok??? So if that doesn't make sense then oh well)

Logan has a slight hip deformity, like, the right part of his hip is more upturned, so he sits like 'W' when he's on the ground sometimes, it works for him and it's better

Oh, and if Logan ever stretched his leg out, like, having it pulled and then stretching the other one out to the other side, his leg would probably pop out, it almost has (idk anatomy or what ever it is)

Ben has once traumatized a chicken and blamed it on a dog

Taylor and Logan use a lot of those little emoji like ":3, :>, <3, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, (●’◡’●)ﾉ" etc

Ashlyn and Tyler (very noticeably, surely) have a bitch/angry resting face, Aiden has a happy one, Logan has a sad/tired one, Taylor and Ben have normal resting faces

Tyler has had pretty bad anxiety issues, especially with his separation anxiety with Taylor, like, he will freak the fuck out if Taylor doesn't respond to his calls within the next 45 minutes

Tay and Ty can only handle being without each other for about 3-5 hours, any more than that, mental breakdown, panic attack etc etc

Ben and Ashlyn have fidgets for Aiden, they have keychains that are fidgets on their bags too

When the others are asleep, Aiden really likes to touch them in a way, like, play with their hair, poke their cheeks. For Logan, Aiden likes to try his glasses

Logan knows a bit of French, but it's very irrelevant cause it was "French math", like, he knows how to count to 80 in French, and also he knows 100 in French, but he doesn't know the 90s in french

Another Logan hc! He has always been an insomniac before Savannah

Sighhh, yes, another Logan hc, he can be a real bitch when he's sick, he's blunt and just bitchy, doesn't have time for bullshit when he's sick

When Tyler's sick, Taylor offers to clean up the house so he won't have to worry about chores like all the time

Aiden and Logan has had piercings before, Aiden used to have earrings and a nose piercing whilst Logan only had one

Aiden is really smart but he doesn't care much and doesn't really use his big brain, and Logan always goes on and on about how much potential Aiden has

Ashlyn, Aiden and Logan like horror movies, though, Ashlyn is more of a slasher horror movie fan, Aiden and Logan are really in for the horror, another reason they bond, but Logan doesn't do well with gore, he loves horror movies but can still really be terrified, Aiden laughs in horror movies

Oh, and Tyler HATES horror movies, but he puts up a brave face, he is secretly a romcom fan though

Once Aiden and Logan were on call and Aiden found a cup of water and he said it was out for a few days on his shelf, should he drink it, Logan sarcastically said yeah, no, you should definitely, totally drink it, of course, Aiden actually did and Logan laughed for a while before actually getting concerned and taken aback and asking Aiden if he was okay, Aiden said he could already feel the effects coming in but was alright and then said if he doesn't come to school the next day, Logan probably knows what happened. Aiden does end up coming to school and Logan said "Oh good, you survived the water,"

Logan makes little bouquets of the others birth month flowers and gives it to them on their birthdays

Once the gang was on a call and from Aiden's end, there was a lot of screams of pain and they were all obviously concerned, but it was more in a amused way, they all kept chatting cause Aiden kept joining with his screams and then leaving and then also sending voice messages of his screams. They kept texting him and asking if he was dying or smth, it was Lily jumping on his back

Logan HATES bugs, he kills them, all the time, no mercy for bugs, he works in a garden. Aiden kills the bugs for fun. Tyler is petrified of bugs and will scream at one. Tay, Ash and Ben are neutral, some bugs they'll be scared off, others, not so much so they leave it alone

If Logan ever did the "unfortunately I'm [subject] smart", it'd go as " Unfortunately, I am Math and Science smart, if you ask me to solve an equation or something about atoms, I will gladly answer it, but if you ask me to write a poem, I will cry." Though, Logan's smart in a bunch of subjects, english isn't one of his best, he hates writing poetry, essays etc, but he has amazing spelling and grammar. Unironically though, he is a fast typer, so when he sends a message, it's most likely to have awful spelling to give a stroke or terrible grammer or both, because of auto correct and where his fingers type

Aiden constantly sings "Wait, they don't love you like I love you," to the others and does the dance

Aiden, Ashlyn, Taylor and Logan know how to do the "Everybody dance now" dance

Logan also knows the Mualani's dance in Genshin Impact to Bailando and will do it

The group can tell that Logan is always holding back and always tell him that he can be himself around them, when he's super comfortable with them, he's... odd, in an amusing way. There was a time he asked Tyler to play rock paper scissors with him and when he lost, he purposely fell off his chair. Oh and Logan does Mualani's dance at random places with the others

Logan doesn't put much effort in sports but he's actually really fast when he actually wants to

The gang played a game of hide'n'seek and could not find Ashlyn for hours, she was hiding in a box up a shelf, she was squeezing herself in by having her legs pulled behind her back and her back arched

Aiden likes to gently slap Logan's glasses so when he does that, Logan's glassss only goes over his nose and he looks funny like that according to Aiden

Tyler was a FNAF kid and Aiden and Taylor were gacha kids (Taylor still secretly plays gacha)

Logan likes to doodle a bit

Logan had a project in Science and it was so good it was in a Science fair and won first place

Taylor and Tyler are each others number one fan

Ben comes over to Logan's house and they go to the greenhouse so Ben has some inspiration of something to draw

Aiden is lactose intolerant but drinks milk, eats ice cream, and a bunch of other dairy products

A lot of people had tried to befriend Ashlyn in middle school, and the thing is, Ashlyn is their friend, but their not Ashlyn's friend

Nowadays, Ashlyn would give some gestures to her classmates like thumbs up or waves when they do something, just a casual one, she doesn't smile at them, but they absolutely freak out for no reason

Taylor and Tyler are part Filipino and mostly Spanish

Logan and Aiden sing Toy-box songs together

Taylor and Taylor have warm bodies, Logan, Aiden and Ben have cold bodies, Ashlyn's body just goes whatever temperature depending on the season, her body is really cold in winter, pretty warm in summer

Oh, I forgot to say, another part of Logan being himself to the group, he spams chats, a lot, he spams random stuff, or song lyrics, he just got a bit annoying, in an amusing way to the others at least

a/n: hello to all!! this took me forEVER because i had like 54014 ideas for this fic 😭 originally this was going to be a high school au, then it was a hurt/comfort fic, then it was a first kiss with Remus (friends to lovers) and now i have this!! also i didn't know what the one lady's name was (the portrait lady who sings in the movies) and all I could find was "the Fat Lady" so i'm sorry if that's wrong 💀

You yelped quietly, whipping around to face him. He was still in his bed, a smirk on his face.

"Merlin, Remy, you scared me," you sighed. "There's a meteor shower happening tonight. I wanted to go see it."

"Without inviting me?" Remus chuckled quietly.

"It's nearly midnight," you replied. "I didn't think you would want to."

"Let me get clothes on first, sunny," Remus yawned. "You should too, Y/N, it must be cold out. Your pajamas won't do much for you."

"Can you just grab me a jumper?" you asked. "I don't want to miss anything."

Remus nodded before slowly and quietly getting out of bed to grab clothes. You were sitting on the floor comfortably, tracing random shapes onto the floorboards.

"Why are you awake?" a first-year loudly whispered. You looked over to see Carmela Hatch rubbing her eyes. "It's lights out. Somebody could tell the prefects. Or the teachers."

"It's fine, Carmela," you sighed, "nobody's going to tell."

"What if there's an Acromantula out there?" she whispered fearfully. "Or what if somebody hears you?"

"Carmela, I've seen loads of people leave the dorms at night," you smiled wearily. "Nobody gets snitched on, or attacked by an Acromantula, or anything, alright? Thank you for worrying."

"Alright," Carmela nodded nervously. "Promise you'll be safe?"

"Promise," you chuckled, linking your pinky with hers. "Remus promises too," you added, taking the hand that he offered you to stand up. Carmela waved goodbye to the two of you before turning and promptly falling back asleep. You two smiled fondly at her before slowly exiting the dorm rooms.

"What are you two doing?!" a portrait whisper-shouted at the two of you. It was the Fat Lady painting. "It's nearly midnight! You two should be sleeping!"

"Just going to see a meteor shower, ma'am," Remus whispered. "It's for a project."

The woman sighed and said, "We'll pretend we didn't see each other. Just be lucky that I'm fond of you two."

You both tanked her numerous times before quietly scuttling out of the building to Hogsmeade. You were greeted by a few ongoers who knew you from your previous visits either with the Maraduers or by yourself before you made it to the field.

"When's this supposed to be?" Remus yawned. "We almost got in trouble last time for sneaking out."

"That wasn't my fault, furball," you laughed, "Sirius insisted on going to Hogsmeade to get candy for Prongs for his birthday."

"You still decided to tell someone we were Hogwarts students," Remus teased, "and they told a professor."

"The professor didn't even know it was us!" you laughed, playfully pushing his shoulder.

"Still, when is this meteor shower, because I'm about to freeze out he-"

Boom. The sound of thunder promptly followed by rain.

"For fuck's sake!" you shouted into the sky, unable to contain your chuckle.

"Do you see somewhere we could take cover?" Remus tried to ask through his laughter.

"Yeah, there's a tree over there!" you nodded. "It covers from the rain since the leaves and branches are so thick!"

You two ran over to the large oak tree, laughing hysterically as you did, stopping to twirl or push the other randomly. While you two were covered and catching your breath, you saw Remus staring at you with a soft smile.

"What?" you breathed.

"Did you ever notice," he said quietly, his breath tickling your cheek from how close he was, "that the hues in our hair complement one another?"

"I don't think I have," you chuckled breathlessly. "Is that a good thing?"

"Very good," he nodded, kissing your cheek, leaving you dumbfounded. He looked up at the sky with a big grin. "There's the meteor shower."

The night sky was dotted in shooting stars and constellations, each meteor shining in the night before fading away. You heard him say "beautiful" under his breath, his gaze flickering between you and the sky. You weren't sure if he was talking about the meteors or you.

And when you wished on a shooting star, you wished that you two would be together for the rest of your lives.

- When Husk first sees the new housekeeper, he's immediately struck by you, surprising himself greatly.

- He inwardly cringes, chiding himself and pushes it to the back of his mind where it sat annoyingly restless.

- Someone like him could never have the type of thing he felt momentarily. Not with his deal weighing heavy on him at least.

- But as you stand there, in much a similar outfit as Niffty with your hands fidgeting with your skirt nervously as Charlie introduces you, he cannot deny how taken he truly is deep down.

- After that, it just gets even worse.

- He notices everything in rapt detail that you do as you around the hotel, and it freaks him out how whipped he is.

- The way your smile lights up when he talks to you is an absolute killer for him.

- He makes a point to be as bitter as possible to scare people away from him and rule out who's actually good verses who's not.

- And when even through all of that, you still smile freely, genuinely with such brightness every time you see him? Has his 'nonexistent' ability to love hard to cover for.

- When it's clear to Husk that his feelings aren't going away, and they are just getting more and more deep, he switches up his approach despite the more pessimistic part of him telling him not to and begins to try to impress you in various ways.

- Showing off tricks he knows how to do with cards, his talent in playing practically any kind of games to do with gambling, stepping in to lift things that are too heavy for you, making you drinks, cooking you stuff.

- Actually smiling at you and talking to you without the usual level of his bitter attitude.

- Other members notice this and tease him about it, but he doesn't let them to get in the way of him trying to woo you.

- When you respond well to it and seem genuinely interested in what he's doing, he thinks of trying to actually approach you to try officially ask you out.

- That's easier said than done, however.

- Every single goddamn member of the hotel seems hellbent on interrupting him every time he finally gets the courage to go try asking.

- Cough. Alastor mostly. Cough.

- After a long line of attempts at asking you out being interrupted, he essentially rage quits at it.

- Storms off as Alastor shows up randomly out of absolutely nowhere in front of his bar, interrupting him mid question as he's just about to try asking for the 7th time that day.

- "God, just fucking forget it. Nevermind." He grumbles out, sending a scathing glare to Alastor who just seems to know what Husk is trying to do and is grinning ecstatically as he sabotaged it yet again.

- After barging out to the hotel balcony, holding his head in his hands as he grits his teeth furiously, he's surprised when he hears your footfalls come to stop behind him.

- He turns to look at you in some confusion as he observes the slightly unsure, nervous look on your face.

- Husk's eyes widen as you ask him the exact same question he was trying to ask, and he feels his heart squeeze embarrassingly warmly at your words.

- Walks up to slowly you and places his hand on your forearm gently as he looks into your eyes and says yes, breathless with how relieved he is that he finally can move to get closer to you.

- You, the sweet maid who'd captivated him from day one.
