- is constantly teasing you on shift, flicking your cap up or stealing it from right off your head. of course he then teases you about the size compared to his. 

- shows off his burn scars from the grill or the fry basket, and brags about how tough he is. (he also has a scar from being a fight with a customer, but he actually doesn't talk about that one as much)

- always insists on carrying heavy things for you, or doing dirty jobs so you don't have to. he'd do it for most people, but especially you. you're never lugging around the bins or carrying heavy stock on his watch, no matter how capable you are.

- keeps the spirits up singing and dancing during shifts, telling jokes and just overall being positive. everyone smiles when he's on shift, but he goes out of his way to make you smile the most.

- he is an excellent judge of character. if Johnny tells you to stay away from a new hire, or that he thinks they won't pull their weight, you listen.

- apologises for bumping into you or brushing past you until you make some kind of comment ("I'm not made of glass Johnny, you can touch me") THEN of course he's in with the teasing touches, a hand on your waist to move you out of the way, hugs when you're stressed at work or quick massages as well as joking shoves.

sneaks extra food for you when he's the one serving you your meal on break (and adds extra toppings to your mcflurry, serves it with a big shit eating grin and says its made with extra love.)

- sweet talks managers into getting on the same shift as you, or being on your station. managers like putting you with him so he doesn't get too wild, though he's a hard worker, sometimes he can get distracted. even if you're silly with him, you both get your work done.

- chats with you constantly if you're on break together, will invite you to come sit with him in his car so you can "listen to music together" aka so its just the two of you.

- defends you in front of customers if anyone is rude to you. has definitely received a disciplinary warning over it more than once.

- he has a secret stash of his favourite happy meal toys that he doesn't tell anyone about, apart from you.

- if he knows you're on shift he will go out of his way to appear as a customer, and even if he doesn't get served by you, will hang around to chat to you.

- insists on driving you home at every chance he gets but especially if it's dark, he won't have you out at night alone.

- tells you about customers flirting with him in the hopes of making you jealous, but has definitely shut down guys who've asked you out at work.

- when you get closer, he totally pulls you into the stockroom for a quick make out session (or fuck). will mark your neck knowing your hair is up and you can't hide it, and everyone will know what you did with him :-)

so. they are in love in the sense that nintendo is queerbaiting me. queerbaiting me with a "straight" couple (they are lesbians). they are not canon they kissed only in the second ever zelda game when there was only the barest story and they were nothing more than pixel sprites and they have not been canon since. and because every game is technically a different link and a different zelda, each individual game varies on how shippable they actually are? like, I'm not very far through twilight princess yet but I've heard they're pretty much just coworkers in that one. the three latest mainline games though, they're like. they're pretty much canon in all but name like you could say it's platonic but like at that point you are running on loads of denial. the three latest mainline games are skyward sword, which is the first link and zelda, the start of the cycle. the plot ENTIRELY revolves around how much link loves zelda. cause they're best friends, hyrule as a kingdom doesn't even exist yet (they live on an island in the sky) she falls to earth and is running around having to discover that she's a reincarnated goddess (that's a whole angst factor btw bc the goddess (hylia) had to fight demise and she won but knew it was temporary and knew demise would have to be defeated again, and that he would need to be defeated with the power of the triforce, which can only be wielded by humans, so she decided basically that she'd need a loyal human knight, and so she reincarnated into a human girl because a girl is loved in the way a goddess isn't and she knew someone would love a human girl enough to save her WHICH HAPPENS so basically zelda gets to have an identity crisis was she just dragging link towards this destiny the whole time? did she truly love him? did he truly love her? are they puppets in this grand plan? "I'm still your zelda" she says to him, but is she??? drives me nuts) and he, ever loyal, keeps running after her to save her again and again and again (link is so dog coded there's a great botw fic about this), and then they defeat demise and he curses them and link is just some guy who went through ALL THIS SHIT cause he LOVED zelda. what if you were in love with your best friend and it cursed you and your descendants for the rest of time this is so francesca by hozier I'd tell them put me back in it I'd go through it again if i could hold you for a minute. and then the next two mainline games are breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom and breath of the wild involves an amnesia plot so you basically watch link fall in love with zelda a second time and then in tears of the kingdom they are. common law married. they share a house. there's only one bed. do NOT get me FUCKING STARTED on the hateno house. and nintendo still plays FUCKING COY zelda's english va has to be like "they... have a really close bond...." this is how I know they're queer you wouldn't do this with straight people. and then people also ship ocarina of time (most popular and well known game of the series most praised for its story) zelink a lot but that's an older game I haven't played yet so I can't speak on them. zelda is so transmasc in that one though this I know. Pfft, I assume you're referring to Clementine Book Two? As far as I'm aware, there haven't been any updates or teasers recently.

The most we have is the cover, which I think is a lot better than Book One's cover as far as colors and the way Clementine's drawn, and the description.

I follow Tillie on insta, and she did post a couple images a while ago but they aren't really anything worth discussing, just some scenery and the group walking with someone saying "this is SUCH a dumb game," sooo... yeah.

Also she isn't posting nearly as much as she used to which is a little concerning ngl. I know she was supposed to go on tour for Clementine Book One after it was released and she had to cancel a bunch of events due to "unforeseen circumstances" so I hope she's okay. When she does post, even things unrelated to the comic, there's still the same handful of people who make sure to comment "#notmyclementine" among other much more gross things like... I don't know what else I can say about that other than asking why be an ass when you can just not? y'know? It's a comic, it's not real, Clementine isn't a real person, the comic existing doesn't erase the games, calm down, dislodge your head from your ass and breathe some fresh air, yeah?

Anyway, if we get any new teasers or anything significant, I'll post about it. I am planning on buying Book Two and reviewing it so that y'all don't have to read it.
