I just read a story on twitter from a guy in our country that worked on ChatGPT to make the bot talk to thousands of girls and then enter a relationship and propose to one of them who he found the most compatible. The guy has briefly read the summaries of messages and now is happily married to a girl and bragging about his cool bot i might actually throw up dystopian novels are fun to read but can we like tone down the creepy bullshit news every day?

My could-be-controversial take on Jayce Talis is that if he lived in a universe or city where you could just go study to become a wizard, like the Baldur's Gate 3/D&D universe for example, he never would have bothered with blacksmithing or Hextech in general, he would have gone straight to esoteric magic school and never come out again. He'd be Gale Dekarios. Blacksmithing and Hextech were always about him finding a workaround within his own available skills and background for what was possibly the most heartbreaking moment of his young life: that he didn't have any actual, inherent magical ability of his own.

(Which just makes the fact that his mage also didn't have inherent magical ability, that Viktor gained it through his association with Jayce, all the more delicious.)

I think it's funny that Gale, Wyll, Shadowheart, and Astarion all have these moments where they're like "ok, I need to confess something that I've been hiding from you... I'm actually a horrible person because (I'm a ticking time bomb/I made a pact with a devil/I worship a goddess widely regarded as evil/I'm a vampire)" and Karlach is like "uh btw, before you start being too nice to me, the devil who made me into a living weapon might track me down and try to kidnap me back after I escaped from her" and they're all like "so I understand if you don't want to travel with me anymore, I'll pack my little bag and go... wait, I can stay?
