I’d like to put on record that I am a soft Gale truther. My headcanon is that the orb is eating him body and soul, so during the game he’s sickly and scrawny. When he returns to Waterdeep (esp with his new parter) he gains his weight back and gets all soft again because he’s healing and happy.

THAT BEING SAID!

I do think it would be very funny that during the game his partner is like ‘oh this man is going to be so soft, so grabbable, so huggable,’ and, you know, robes have layers and can hide so much. So they go into everything thinking this man is cute and chubby. Then they go to see him naked for the first time and see him with rock hard abs and they’re basically like

i just saw your post about how rook was stuck in the fade for weeks (which i didn't know) and i'm just so???? one of the biggest things that i can't stop thinking about is how rook is treated so horribly by his companions, and the only way they get any compassion is if they're in a romance, which i think is wild. why doesn't anyone ask rook how they are? why're they treated like such an outsider when they have to spend the entire game making sure their companions are okay

Oh cause Rook's not important to the story BioWare ended up telling. They're just there to overhear other people's conversations and move the plot along, they're not meant to be a person person

#okay starting from the beginning of where ppl usually dislike him. apple woods chapter.#he doesn’t give hero/partner the CHANCE to explain themselves despite them being relatively good recruits up until that point.#and that legit might be my only gripe with that chapter bc!!! stories need conflict! I LIKE the conflict in apple woods!!!#hero and partner being punished so something they didn’t do!#the misunderstanding! how team skull (Skuntank) actually outplays the main duo with a clever yet rotten trick. I LOVE that it segways into-#one of the more sweeter scenes of guild members looking out for eachother. I LIKE APPLE WOODS CONFLICT.#but chatot just. not giving them a chance. is so dumb.#I’d personally fix this by having a lil montage of hero/partner fucking up on jobs. A LOT. and chatot giving them a pass every time.#and let the perfect apple incident BE the one where he puts his foot down and doesn’t listen to them. bc he’d given them loads of chances.#and doesn’t want to hear any excuse.#but yeah. I legit dont mind him during that chapter except for that really stupid and frustrating moment.#NOW. I’m sorry that celebrities and media have taught you that this is what 40 looks like. Cuz I hate to break it to you but this is what 40 looks like with a helluva lot of plastic surgery and fillers.

Not great at drawing “old people” so dug out some old photos of my parents at 40 for some wrinkle and grey hair inspiration haha (and before any y’all think these are my parents, stop right there, don’t, they aren’t. I just utilized the laugh lines and greys they had at 40).

The male MC was the one I did weeks ago when I was pissed PB gender-locked yet another book unnecessarily. The female one I did today in a fit of rage lol

Guess I’m gross for wanting regular people in my stories and not cookie cutter plastic models.
