I kinda feel like this is a drawing prompt - which I won't do, at least not anytime soon, because I have too many drawing wips atm, but have my two cents on how that would go down :

Like with many - especially physical - things, I am rather sure the ability to ice-skate differs between regenerations of the Doctor's. Like, 11 would not be able to go a step without falling, constantly grabbing onto Amy and Rory for support - or River at the frost fair. And 7 would probably be indistinguishable from an Olympic figure skater - I don't even know him, really, but he has the vibe.

Now while 13 can be clumsy, I honestly believe she'd be surprisingly good on skates? Like, not grace incarnated but I'm sure she wouldn't fall (on accident) and know a bunch of tricks you haven't even heard of. I also think she can go scarily fast. She sometimes forgets she knows how to stop though, preferring to barrel into something soft that will cushion the fall instead.

So among thasmin, I believe, it would be Yaz holding onto the Doctor - she doesn't really need to, but if opportunity knocks, you know. But I can only see that happening with Dan - who is holding onto one of these kiddy-penguins to learn the steps while Di encourages him; she's casually skating backwards. If we're with fam 1.0, I think it is Graham trying to hold onto the Doctor - who is going around him in circles oblivious to him needing help - and Yaz and Ryan are having hot chocolate on the sidelines, wrapped into layers and layers of blankets and laughing at their friends looking funny and having fun on the ice.

What did you imagine for skates!13? Please do tell!!

GASP yaz.. this is Peak Evil.. to me..

i don't have a lot written for the pandalily fame au, just the outline and a few random dialogues, but basically james and lily are married in this one, james is a very Famous director and lily is a renowned photographer. they're sort of an It couple in hollywood, everyone loves them and sees them as the perfect relationship etc etc

and then u have pandora, who's a very successful actress!! she's been in a few scandals, but she's also beautiful and incredibly witty and she's just won an oscar so everyone wants to work with her or get to know her or just fuck her tbh

she ends up being casted as the main lead in james' new film, and he's so !!! happy and excited !!! that he wants to share all this with his wife, who he knows is a big fan of pandora, so she goes to pandora and asks if she'd be okay with lily being the one to take all of her promo pics !!!

at first pandora is gonna refuse, bc she already has her own photographer, but then she meets lily and decides she Wants her . so she decides to seduce her during their photoshoots, not giving a fuck about james or the fact that lily's married <3 bc yes it is a cheating fic <3 and they're both soooo sexy in this story <3

the time was 3:06AM. ben was awoken by his usual nightmares of pteranodons in a cold sweat, disorientated and convinced those winged creatures were coming for him. again.

his breaths were heavy, eyes wide as he sat upright in his bed, the college dorms quiet. he felt light, weak, like he was falling from the monorail again.

he clutched at his chest, willing himself to calm down. his dreams, or nightmares for a better word always end with him dying, either from hitting the ground too hard, or being painfully torn apart by the pteranodons, and the only thoughts going through his head then are;

i wont be able to see darius again.

he doesnt know why darius is the first person to come to mind when he thinks about dying. everytime he thinks about darius, he gets nervous, and giddy.

but hes not gay. or, at least he thinks so. hes been with girls before but.. darius is different. more special.

ben sighs, running his hands down his face as he inhales shakily. he picks up his phone, checking through his messages, unaware that darius was also doing the same.

darius, distracted from late night work from the dpw, texts ben,

"you up?"

bens heart almost explodes out of his chest. but there it is, that feeling again. like his heart is going to explode.

ben texts back in an instant, his fingers fumbling over the screen,

"yeah"

darius takes a minute to respond,

"nightmares again?"

ben mentally curses himself. the fact that darius knew how often his nightmares were made him feel embarrassed.

"yeah, and just thinking about stuff"

that stuff being you, ben thought. but what was he meant to say? hey! you're my best friend and i think im gay for you! hope this doesnt make things awkward!

of course its gonna make things awkward, he tells himself. hes cool with gay people, hell, he even helped yaz and sammy. but why is it so hard to accept that he might like guys too?

he almost forgets hes texting darius. almost.

"what stuff?"

darius responds. ben lowers his phone, resisting the urge to just smash it into pieces, but he also wants to tell darius whats going on.

so he lies.

"college :/"

he doesnt give a shit about college right now. hes been so preoccupied with trying to figure himself out.

he even went to sammy.

they met up for a 'coffee', but ben just wanted to get her advice.

"ben? what's eatin' ya? you're never this quiet.." sammy notices, her eyebrows furrow as she slightly leans over the small table.

ben sighs, running his hand through his hair, "i... its about darius." he says quietly.

"what? he not pickin' up again? because i swear to god i told him!-"

"no! no.. its.. god.." he groans, leaning back in the chair and covering his face with his hands.

"ben.." sammy drags out, wanting to know whats going on. ben suddenly leans forward, looking down at the coffee cup in his hands before looking up at sammy,

"how.. how did you know you were lesbian?" he whispers.

a flash of confusion appears on sammys face, before her eyes widen, the pieces fitting together.

"you.. like darius..?" she asks quietly, to which ben nods.

"i- i know you can like both guys and girls but i.. why cant i accept it as easily as you did?" he whispers, the frustration evident in his voice.

sammy puts her hand over bens,

"i didnt accept it right away." she admits quietly, "nearly no one does."

ben looks at her, his eyes slightly widened.

"you didnt?" he whispers, to which sammy shakes her head.

"it took a while.." she shrugs, "but.. y'know. i got there! and i got the best girlfriend in the world!" she smiles.

ben wants to smile, but he cant.

"sammy, i- i dont know if darius swings that way. what if i tell him and it ruins everything?" he whispers, all these thoughts swirling in his head.

"you wont know unless ya tell him." she says, squeezing bens hand reassuringly.

"how?" ben asks, his voice strained.

"just tell him." sammy nods, "you dont gotta know what ya are right away... jus' know what you're feelin'."

he doesnt know the amount of times hes typed out a paragraph to darius, and then deleted it out of fear of being shunned.

bens fingers hover over the call button. he doesnt wanna do it over text, its too.. sleazy..

bens finger accidentally presses the call button, and before he can cancel it, darius picks up.

"hey, ben. you okay? you dont usually call." darius' voice rings out from the phone.

"yeah- yeah, i'm uh, fine-" ben mentally slaps himself for sounding like he just ran a marathon and back.

"you dont sound it." darius hums.

"i gotta tell you something, d." the words slip out of bens mouth before he can even catch the letters from falling out.

theres a beat before darius responds,

"...what is it?" darius says quietly.

ben doesnt know how to respond, so he rambles. says whatever his heart is telling him.

"d. i love you. and not in like, a-a friend way. i wanna hold your hand, and kiss you, and be seen with you as your boyfriend. i wanna hold you and sleep next to you and take you out on dates and treat you how you deserve to be treated-" he stops himself with a shaky breath.

darius is quiet. too quiet.

fuck. ben thinks.

"really?" darius muses, ben cant read his tone.

"yeah.. really." ben swallows nervously.

ben really is hoping darius swings that way right now, to save him from the embarrassment.

"well.. uh.. yeah, yeah.. so do i." darius says quietly, tripping over his words. bens heart almost stops.

"what?" he asks.

darius laughs, "i feel the same, ben."

"well, uh.. thats um.. great." ben says, unsure on how to react now.

he can hear darius moving around,

"can i drop by tomorrow? figure things out between us?" darius asks.

bens voice catches in his throat, "yes-" he clears his throat,

"yeah. you can. you- you need directions?" ben asks.

"already know where you are. and uh... sammy told me already." darius chuckles,

"sam- oh my god.." bens face burns up, and he hears darius laughing again.

and by god, is it the most beautiful sound ben has ever heard.

i remember watching sammy and yaz get together in jwcc and just like shocked that they actually confirmed and wrote it into the story. im not used to my gay ships actually being canon and it threw me for a loop.

im used to existing solely in denial and on ao3 tags.

See to me it’s even more painful than that. He literally constructed a scenario where, if she so chose, he could become an ally and “fun” playmate to Thirteen and Yaz. He’s well aware of what’s going on in this scene, but before executing the scheme to “erase” the Doctor, he indulges in a fantasy scenario of “what if this were our reality?” Anf I am about 95 to 99% sure that if they had treated him like a comrade here, he’d have had a little cry akin to the time in Spyfall Part 2, and then he would call the whole business off and be satisfied to become what Missy tried to become and could not. 

The trouble is, the Doctor thinks Missy abandoned her and then chose to regenerate into someone who is so bitterly hurt and antagonistic once more.  Someone who is different physically, strategically, a reaction to Missy. The Doctor doesn’t understand that the Master feels just as discarded and abandoned as she does.  Why are they even in that position? Well, because the Doctor always thinks they know what’s best for a loved one, and the Doctor is afraid of being alone forever and knows no one will ever be as Doctory as the Master is, and the Master always defines themself by what will please, or anger, or hell just get any attention from, the Doctor. So two Masters msrched off into the woods on a massive ship under a black hole, had a squabble, and killed each other, disputing because of the Doctor, and what to do about their enmeshment in the Doctor’s existence. 

They are both right and they are both wrong.  And it won’t get fixed until they talk, just them, no distractions, no companions or shared enemies, just them in a room alone talking for hours or days. Everyone says this relationship is unsalvageable. I will go to my grave disagreeing.  

Daleks… on the same day as the Master and Cybermen. I know. They’re either separate problems, or all part of one bigger scheme. He doesn’t have that power. He couldn’t corral Daleks and Cybermen, could he?

You were posing for some pictures. Ewan just came in, chewing gum. Your name was begin called by the photographers and, quite frankly, you were serving like rent was due. You were giving. That in and of itself deserved its own edit (which it does-- it has its own edits).

Your expression was mostly stoic and your hands were relaxed upon the front of your thighs.

Then came Ewan, ready to pose for the carpet, and as he did so, the paparazzi called out his name, making you turn from your side, and immediately break character.

Your otherwise blank face morphs into a wide grin and you gather yourself, walking over to Ewan, though he was at a side where you had just finished posing. The moment you are remotely close, Ewan turns, and his own poker face twists into a pursed smile. He reaches out for you and gives you a hug.

You kiss his cheek and a lipstick mark stays on his skin for a good unknowing 6 seconds.

From the moment you two pose next to each other, the different fan cams and multiple angles wherein the kiss mark and your smiles are visible, to the moment you turn and gasp, reaching out to wipe Ewan's cheek, it's all very much well-documented.

Ewan glances at you as you rub his cheek with your thumb. You're holding back a laugh as you mutter something that makes him thin his lips and mutter something back.

And then, your hands are by each other's wrists, dangling beside each other. Next thing that happens, you're holding hands and you're pulling him away.

Ewan follows you with no fuss. [EDIT IN SCREAMING SOUNDS] As you lead him off, you stop and await him to your side. Once he's close enough, you turn to him from over your shoulder and say something.

In reaction to whatever you said, Ewan smirks and shrugs. He points to the distance and, for some reason, you laugh really hard at that.

Alright, I am now absolutely obsessed with the Camp Cretaceous dinosaur human hybrid AUs. I’ve stared at @silverthelovebug’s beautiful art for a long time, and I binge read @snugglylime’s amazing fic! I tagged them both so you can check their content out, which you absolutely should.

But that got me thinking about my own hybrid AU. Since both of the above ones are set during Camp Cretaceous, I decided I wanted to create an AU for Chaos Theory! Spoilers below, obviously.

Basically, in this AU, the Six are still being hunted. But instead of it being an assassination attempt, the goal is to capture them to use as human test subjects. Specifically, turning them into dinosaur human hybrids. That’s the main idea, although I’m still working some things out. Below are the dinosaurs I think they would be:

Ben: Ankylosaurus

Brooklynn: Allosaurus

Darius: ???

Kenji: Atrociraptor

Sammy: ???

Yaz: Becklespinax

Okay so for Ben, he would obviously be an Ankylosaurus, specifically Bumpy (rip Bumpy). And Brooklynn would be an Allosaurus, for obvious reasons. Specifically the one that was sent to kill her (though in this AU, it wasn’t meant to kill her). For Darius…well, I don’t now yet. He and Sammy I still haven’t figured out. The problem is I’m trying to use dinosaurs just from Chaos Theory. And I can’t really think of any that would work for Darius and Sammy (but I want them both to be herbivores to make an even balance of carnivores and herbivores). So loving on to Kenji, he would be an Atrociraptor. The only one that doesn’t appear in Chaos Theory is Red, so sure, why not. He’s Red now. I chose this dinosaur for him because although they were all hunted by the raptors, Daniel was killed by them which I think gives Kenji the closest connection to them. Finally, Yaz. I decided to make her a Becklespinax, mainly because they attacked the dinosaur free zone where she was living. I think that makes sense.

Honestly, I might wait until Season 2 comes out to flesh out this AU more. By then we should have more dinosaurs, more info about the people hunting the Six, etc. And who knows, what dinosaurs they are might completely change when Season 2 comes out.

But once I have a solid idea of the AU, you better believe I’m writing a fanfic! Fucked up fanfic ideas my beloved <3

Camp Cretaceous/Chaos Theory Arcane AU Part 1

I’ve been mulling over this AU for a while now and I’ll put the info in read more so it doesn’t take over my home page, but I would like to thank @mangosaurus and @theobscuredigit for helping me sort out my thoughts and bounce off ideas regarding the AU! Also this mostly covers act 1 of Arcane so I’ll probably do another part of this covering acts 2 and 3.

I’ve been working through what characters would fit which roles in the arcane universe and I’ve finally come to a somewhat solid conclusion on where I’m taking this AU if I decide to do more about it in the future (or it’s just this one off thing, maybe I’ll write a fic about it. I’m unsure), so here we go!

Yaz -> Vi- A head strong and athletic young girl who lost her mom due to a tragic conflict between the Undercity and Piltover. She’s the leader of a rag tag group of fellow orphans, those of which greatly admire her. While she may put on an act of having everything together she’s extremely terrified of letting those she loves down, especially her adoptive younger brother Ben who is the most important person in her life.

Ben -> Powder- Yaz found Ben all alone during the conflict that took the lives of the twos parents, and from that day forward Yaz became Ben’s protector and sister. Although, timid, Ben is determined to prove he can pull his own weight within the group. However, his attempts often fail leading disastrous consequences, which Yaz and the others have to end up resolving. The only person that Ben believes doesn’t see him as a burden is his best friend, Darius.

Mae -> Vander- Adoptive mother of both Ben and Yaz, she found the two during the conflict between Piltover and the Undercity. She also takes care of two other children she found during the aftermath and is well respected in the Undercity, due to her not so savory past. She now tries to keep the peace between the two nations, while also struggling to manage the rebellious children under her care.

Kenji -> Mylo- One of the other two children under Mae’s care. Unlike everyone else in the group who are orphans, Kenji was abandoned by his father after his mother passed away, using the chaos of the conflict going on in the Undercity as a way to make a clean break. Kenji greatly admires Yaz, and hopes to be someone that can proudly stand by her side, however his cockiness and laziness get the better of him. While he does care for Ben, he ends up giving the kid a hard time due to how often he messes up jobs. He believes that Ben somehow hexes the group whenever he joins them on outings.

Sammy -> Claggor- One of the other two children under Mae’s care as well as Yaz’s girlfriend. During the conflict, Sammy was separated from her parents and later found out they were killed during it. With no where else to go, she finds Mae and gets taken in by her. While trying to keep things positive in the group, it’s clear that she share the same hatred for those in Piltover as her friends, citing them as the reason why she lost everything.

Darius -> Ekko- Best friend of Ben as well as the son of the local pawn shop owner, he supplies tips he hears from his dad’s shop about wealthy customers to his friends. He highly respects Ben and motivates him to keep trying even when he wants to give up, being a guiding light in Ben’s life.

Brooklynn -> Caitlyn- The daughter of one of Piltover’s councilman. Her biggest dream is to investigate the inside details of Piltover and the Undercity’s rocky relationship and hope to achieve this by becoming one of the cities top enforcers in the future. She also assists Henry Wu in his work from time to time as he was taken under her families wing.

Here are the other roles that I don’t feel like writing descriptions for as of this moment but probably will if I go more into depth with this AU

Dr. Wu -> Jayce
