Or well its more of a vent cause i love yall and feem comfortable being able to just randomly vent yet ramble about thoughts like this.

NOTE: i am Not attacking or hating on other's takes or head canons if anything im just expressing a thought ive had that ive had personal mixed feelings with.

Trans Toby is such a comfort yet scary to me at the same time. Its obvious i use him as a sense od escape and project myself heavily onto him since I've pretty much identified as him for a whilw now due to my silly brain. The idea of putting what pains me so much onto him makes me so fuckin sad. I use him as a way to present CIS and like..be a biological male ofc.

Me, being pre T and pre surgeries coming summer time it gets worse every year and that ive actually thought of having alternate realities where i could make him trans but like me, before the medical transitions. But as someone who uses a CIS character to escape being trans its super hard to think that.

When i see other's takes on it its so fuckinh cute and almost comfortable but when i thought about it...It made me really sad?? Obviously i hc him as just a cis dude.

The thought of him like doing his own top surgery is like, relatable? Im about there myself tbh. Maybe he's already years on T but realistically idk

How that would be possible giving he lives in thw woods and how would he have medical access to that ect ect..

With others its easy to project their actual lives onto characters in the form of head canons but its like i almost wanna stray as far as i can away from mine so i dont have to also live it through whats suppose to be my escape, my relief.

Being trans is a big part of me but i don't let it define me like the stupid state i live in. Why do i find it so hard to project it? It's not a bad thing. Its a beautiful thing, plus i love representation.

I can always just live through the other's takes on it. It is vert cute and would honestly make sense giving he is actually most appearance goals for MOST trans mascs.. I. Feel like we all just kinda gathered towards him as a character due to his lore sorta being able to have multiple meanings.

The pads of Mikasa’s fingertips were gentle across his skin, rubbing soap across his skin in circular motions as to not further irritate the numerous burns the accident left him with. Even the smallest of touches would irritate his injuries, but Mikasa had always been delicate in everything she did.

It was the stark difference between the two of them—Mikasa approached life with a level of caution and tenderness that Eren had never possessed. He had gone through so much of his life approaching everything with a sense of callousness, always brash and aggressiveness, but it was as if all of Mikasa’s benevolence had somehow rubbed off onto Eren. He was certain part of it was a result of all the time they spent together, but also because Mikasa was deserving of all that was good—even from him.

The cool shower stream drew gently against her back, her dark hair slicked back from the water, droplets of water falling gingerly down her face. Her fingers traced the outlines of the where his scars spanned from his wrist to the curvature of his shoulder, some spots more mangled than others. A sullen look washed across her face, and he could see the faintest trace of her lip quivering.

“These are gonna scar,” she said quietly, her voice almost inaudible over the stream of the shower.

“And if they do, it’s okay, I don’t mind. I’ll get to tell everyone who asks how I almost got burned to death trying to play hero,” he attempted to reassure her. She gave him a reproachful look, evidently unable to appreciate the “humor” in his words. His face softened at her expression, knowing despite his constant reassurances, she was still shaken up by the accident.

“Mikasa…” He started softly. “I’m here right now, aren’t I? I’m okay, I promise. You don’t have to keep worrying.” Eren took the hand that was still inspecting his multiple burns and brought it to his chest, just above his heart. “You feel that? I’m alive and I’m okay. I’m here talking to you, and I have no intentions of going anywhere else. I’m here to stay as long as I’m able to—I can promise you that much, cariño.”

Her mouth opened as if to protest but she merely pressed her lips into a thin line, opting to merely nod in response instead. Her eyes had the glossed-over look they did whenever she was about to cry, only he knew that she wouldn’t allow herself to—not now, at least.

Eren’s face fell into a frown, knowing that whatever unspoken thoughts were running rampant in her head, were the exact opposite of not worrying. “Mikasa, look at me,” he urged, tilting her chin up so that her eyes met his. “Please, don’t worry anymore—if not for yourself, then for me. I will do everything on your list to the T, I promise. I won’t even try to still go on my runs like I had been secretly planning to—”

“Eren, what the hell? It’s almost like you don’t wanna get better or something,” she chastised, the scowl he had grown to appreciate perched on her face.

“Which is exactly why I’m not going to anymore, I don’t want you to keep stressing about this—about me.”

You muttered out, a bit soft as you both were fighting before the floor of the building collapsed.. probably was because of you two. Zero had wounded you, very badly. You could see your own blood seeking through your suit, you are amazing at fighting but of course.. he was always fucking better, wasn’t he? It’s always so fucking stupid. He was always fucking better at everything you tried to do, he always did the same thing and yet you always came out third, last, fourth. It was like he put on a curse on you and that curse was to see you fail.

“What else could i do with the cards i’ve been dealt?”

Zero looked at you shocked as he heard that coming from your lips.. He tried pulling you back up, even if he knew that you were a villain- you still needed to live, you could have a normal life. Zero looked at you with pleading eyes instead of just worry in them, you could be saved in his eyes.. You always wondered how you could tell it was your childhood friend in that suit when he couldn’t even tell it was you in this suit. Maybe it just proves he wants to be better at everything than someone else and he just happened to pick you out of all people.

“You aren’t the villain! You once held my hand!”

Right as Zero said that.. everything came crashing down. That’s a funny way to say that he let go of your hand, you didn’t seem bothered. You didn’t even care, not anymore. You were smiling, after everything you get to be free.. free to be whoever you want and not have someone be better. You can be alone, happy, and it’ll be freeing.. quiet.. and peaceful. That was with you as you were falling down but with Zero. He was tearing up, he couldn’t fucking believe he just realized that you were that villain. That villain who always fought him, that villain who ranted about how they became this way… His own fucking crush. How could he just let you go down that path?..

Zero tried wiping his tears and yelling out to you, but it was already too late. He was too fucking late.. He looked down to see anything, just anything. Maybe your body or just someone helping you.. but no one was around your body, no one. No one helping you, But everyone was around. They were just fucking cheering. Zero immediately went down, he ran to your body. Taking off your mask immediately when he got to your body.. His eyes blurry from the fucking tears threatening coming out already, he covered your face with his hand as he kneel down.

Zero had your body in his arms as he pulled you up to cry into your chest, you were just a teenager. Fighting, fighting him.. he felt like absolute shit. You didn’t deserve this at fucking all. You didn’t deserve to become a hated villain, you didn’t deserve to die at such a young age.. Zero could feel everyone’s eyes on him, all confused as they thought you were nothing special. Maybe you were in their eyes but how would your parents find out? How would your own parents find out that their child.. their own child died. While fighting a hero, how their child was the villain, and they died.

Im really flattered you enjoy my descriptions, its something i think im most proud of in my writing :] smth about finding the perfect word to help paint an incredibly vivid picture really appeals to the autism in my brain, although i do frequently worry i might be going a bit,,,, overboard kdsbkdnekdk

and yeah, this is admittedly a rough draft of the story-- its missing quite a bit of connective tissue at the start, which is mostly bc i genuinely assumed only a handful of people already familiar with the world would pick it up and see it. In the hypothetical future polished version of this fic, i'd want to make the worldbuilding a bit more concrete right from the start-- i think its very easy to tell that im still sorta worldbuilding as i go, and there are definitely details i'd want to put front and center right away :] nonetheless, im pretty proud of how its shaping up, considering when i posted the first two chapters i had NO CLUE where it was going 😂😂😂😂
