Listen. If they wanted me to believe in mlvn they would have had Vecna take Mike from El. They would have her say “it you touch him again, I will kill you, again” before giving them a one-on-one romantic reunion where Mike did something like parallel being saved from the quarry + said “you saved me—you’re not the monster, not to me. I love you.” They would have had him encourage her to her face in a way she could respond to—before she won, or at the very least managed to save him from death the way she saved Max.

Funny how nothing like that happened tho. Instead Mike confessed, the world broke in half, Murray, Steve and Nancy delivered the final blows while El just stood there as Vecna faded away…and then this?

I have problem with my octo!Dream story where reader gets saved by Dream after a bad storm and shipwreck and taken to an island/cove of Dream’s home but like I have no reason for why reader is out at sea 😂 my brain is like ‘here’s all these scenes! Write!’ While I’m sitting here like ‘cool cool love this but why are we here?’ And like also needing a reason for the reader to maybe want to leave for tension??

Like do I make them a pirate? But it feels so typical

Business woman? Shipment gone wrong or out to meet up with a possible buisness partner?

Like why we out at sea? Who put us here?? I mean I did and I am the god of this story but I’m still scratching my mind

Dannys family and friends die due to the GIW in amity, and danny in grief fueled rage, absolutely dismantles the entire organization. clockwork sees how he goes down a dark path no matter what he does in the living realm, and moves him into his haunt until he recovers emotionally.

seconds and years pass by like blinking but neither of the two ghosts change at all. danny gets drawn in to the gear windows that show alternate realities that don’t exist, but clockwork is too busy monitoring the current timeline to really look into it.

so when clockwork sees the strain on danny from not helping his human half, he doesn’t even think about what he saw on the monitors as he sends danny back down to earth to find new people to protect.

danny has seen every dark future of many justice league members, and freaks out over them all banding together to accomplish something. he needs to stop them before it’s all too late for the world. this must be why he was sent here by clockwork.

when the jl go out for defending another invasion, they hardly expected a new unknown rogue with the power to destroy universes to declare himself their enemy.

(or alternatively- danny thinks the jl are villains planning on world takeover and does his best to keep them from winning.)

soooo… you may have noticed that I changed Jason’s outfit. That was by accident 😔. I misunderstood his clothes and by the time I realized, I was already committed. So then I thought… what if he’s just borrowing Dick’s hoodie? So I colored it red and here he is. Wearing Dicks hoodie.

also, I tried to keep with the original style, but by the time I got to inking that was kind of out the window bc I got super pen-happy.
