What does that mean in relation to the Teen Titans/Young Justice?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here, so I'll try to explain what I meant:

In terms of themes and in universe status, Gen13 is much more similar to the X-Men et al than to the Titans or YJ. Like-- Gen13 formed because they were on the run from the government for having superpowers. That automatically puts them in a position way more similar to the X-Men et al than to any group of teens or young adults who were by and large already superheroes/vigilantes coming together for superhero/vigilante stuff. Plus, like, they're a Jim Lee co-creation. He's an X-Men guy.

I'm not saying it's wrong to compare Gen13 to the Titans or YJ, I just don't think it holds up very well. They are not analogous to each other, they operate differently, and their in-universe status is pretty different. Not every designated 'youth' team is comparable outside of, well, being designated 'youth' teams.

How would you feel about Caitlin Fairchild joining the Teen Titans or Young Justice?

Eh. Bad. I don't think Gen13 should be split up in general, but especially not Caitlin. She's definitely the least likely to join a different team on her own.

I also think Gen13 aren't superheroes, at least not in the same way that the Titans and Young Justice are. Like obviously they are called superheroes in universe, and refer to themselves as superheroes, but I think this is mostly true in terms of like... what genre conventions they tick off. They are in a separate category from teams like the Titans and YJ.

Also, Caitlin is a fair bit older than YJ, so she wouldn't really fit in there, at least not unless she was taking on some sort of mentorship role. My understanding is that this role is already taken for YJ. (Note: I'm judging ages by when Caitlin actually existed in comics, so she turned 21 in 1999/2000, depending on what you go with.)

(Yeah I'm being told by @nielsthecat that when Ray Terrill joined YJ his age kind of prevented him from meshing with the team, and he was only 18/19, which is still younger than Caitlin)

Beyond that I can't say anything more specific because I'm not really a Titans/YJ guy. She might be able to kick it with whoever the most parentified Titan is, I guess, depending on who that is.

If you mean the version of Caitlin currently kicking around Earth-0 then I well and truly don't give a fuck because she's basically unrecognizable, though I guess you run into the opposite problem of her being a little young for teen anything
