Cyran as a student:

Doesn't talk during the lessons

Takes plenty of notes

has notations neatly written in the books

has neat handwriting (although it can occasionally be terrible scribbles that look like lightning hit the paper)

always does homework

will allow only a few others to copy his homework

if not in the lessons, then he can be found in the library

hates group studying

is not avoiding interactions as such but always favors studying over going out with the others

can be grumpy when he doesn't understand something

is too proud to ask for help (more than once)

will listen in to others when they discuss things for passive learning (particularly when he hasn't yet understood something)

prefers to find answers in textbooks and personal research, than in open discussion

performs his magic exactly as described

his answers are a perfect mix of textbook and practical knowledge from various sources, tailored to the problem at hand

thus fails to think outline that knowledge base, and cannot be creative

visits all classes that are offered and available to him

actually does NOT stay up late, because he is an early morning bird

has fought for early access to the way stones, so that he can go home and doesn't have to use the shared facilities of the dormitories

had no time whatsoever for romance, despite a few interested parties every now and then

Merlin as a student:

switches between total focus and chatting away with friends

takes rare and kinda random notes

writes stuff on post-its and has them EVERYWHERE in his books, bag, clothes and hair.

legible but somewhat childlike handwriting, consistently. can do print quality for special occasions. you never know when they are.

does homework last minute usually, but sometimes simply pretends he did them just to wing it in class when asked.

would totally let others copy if he had homework in time. xD

prefers to gain knowledge through talking and experimenting

approaches everything with open mind, flexible, not afraid to fail, creative in coming up with solutions, even ridiculous ones.

stuns peers and teachers alike with innovative magical approaches

is often in the library as well for studying, but also chatting and is sometimes banished for the rest of the day by the librarians.

retains textbook knowledge alright but not as efficient as Cyran

will suggest 20 weird solutions of which 2 somehow actually even work before somehow remembering the clinical textbook answer.

has a great balance between hanging out with friends, going in town, spending the evening etc and finding time to study. Surprisingly manages to be a quiet and focused study partner to Cyran on several occasions.

Will pester the teachers with questions about everything (although usually it remains on topic)

Can be late for classes or misses some optional ones for the sake of socialising

likes to go out, but doesn't to excessive partying

stays up until around 1 or 2 AM, then falls asleep on the sofa

gets up last minute, and has thus mastered a 5- minute complete morning routine

spend the first three years in the dorms, then decided to at least sleep back in the Mystical House for the rest of his school years

funnily had no head for romance, despite the many interested parties. he's oblivious to romantic interest in him, even now. has best boy- or girlfriends instead. xD

Cyran as teacher:

starts and ends lessons on the minute

prefers the tiny class sizes, but also does well with larger groups

will report missing homework or misconduct straight away

but does give students a chance to save face by completing additional tasks

always has homework ready for the students

always complains about late minute changes. He can quickly adjust but dislikes the stress that comes with it.

never raises his voice but will use magic to gain the attention of dreaming students

thinks little of lazy students and dislikes working with them. he will remain professional and polite, of course. Most of the time, anyway.

has tons of textbook knowledge. will admit not knowing something but may blame it on the lack of literature about it (even if there might be something)

passionate about knowledge acquisition and magic techniques

is overall a really good teacher, strict but fair and can be reasoned with.

but lacks the "if I had a problem, I'd go to him" qualities

fails to (nor cares to) motivate or inspire less studious students

his students are either top notch, or simply fail the assignment.

though it has to be said that he CAN make individual adjustments, since most of his students come for 1-1 private lessons, so he can more easily focus on the parts that don't go so well and guide students to a position that is adequate and good for them in their specific situation

who needs to be a baker when you can be a professor for bakers, eh?

Merlin as teacher:

tends to start lessons on time because he's got fixed time slots BUT sometimes spends the first 10 minutes catching up with students.

the larger the class, the less work can be done. the smaller the class, the same is true. somehow.

will tolerate lack of homework but does also ask about why it wasn't done and will give special homework so that students can do it

complains about late minute changes, just for the fun of it. Then will be flexible to do something just as cool.

will actually do proper work for a good deal of the lesson!

gives homework regularly, but not always

loves every single student!

knows a lot but is better in guiding students to come up with their own answers.

will conduct research lessons when he doesn't know an answer to find one

passionate about magic and the ways it can help people

is overall a good teacher, consistent, friendly with the students and is one of those teachers who students dare to go to when they have issues

manages to somehow inspire students to try their hardest, or at least appreciate that what they can do

as much as he'd like, he cannot fully provide that which some high-level students would need (and they end up not as good as they COULD be)

so Merlin's students are more just confident in their skill level, even if it's technically a bad one. who needs to be a professor for doctors when you can be a cool baker instead, right?!

Fanart of Tuesday from the hit game Reverse 1999, on a Tuesday?! What a coincidence :0 (Little did you know... It wasn't- >:3)

So I've been playing this game for months now (absolutely loving the experience, from the characters to the story to the grinding to EVERYTHING-) and recently I found an opportunity to draw my fav gacha game character for a contest, and I chose Miss Horror herself because;

One, she's the first 6-star I got in the game since I started playing during 2.1, and two, I fricking fell in love with her cuz of her design & personality and now the poison team is my go-to in battles 😌

I'm honestly really proud of this drawing and I hope you guys will like it too! (P.S. If there are any r1999 who see this, wanna be mutuals? 🥺👉👈)
