Hey hey! May I request headcanons for luz and hunter (separately) with a S/o that's to innocent for their own good but at the same time always manages to get themself into some sort of trouble. (gender neutral pronouns please)
Luz and Hunter with innocent s/o headcanons
a/n: oh i had so much fun doing this! i hope you like this as much as i do, if you want anything changed at all you can message me :)
Tumblr media
luz:
- she honestly thinks you’re just super adorable
- this simple thing called common sense goes over your head and to her, you’re just a witch version of king
- def gives you the “who’s a whiddle guy” look when looking at you for too long
- she will tease you relentlessly for your innocence, and again, your dumbass won’t always understand or you’ll pout
- now for the danger part 😭
- Luz believes you can handle yourself just fine but the poor girl also has a hero complex
- she has made to help you with any tussle you somehow manage to get yourself into
- a lot of ‘oh nos’ leave her mouth when you give her the smile that tells her you most likely did something…again
- Luz will most definitely help you from any problem and support you always, but i know for a fact this girl will tease you about it later til’ your whole body is red with embarrassment
- the trouble you always get yourself into is always stupid or because you did/said something stupid
- you’re her ‘innocent whittle bwean’ as she likes to call you in that voice
- you: you know, warden wrath’s face looks like a bunch of mashed snake butts
- Warden Wrath in the distance just staring you down before charging
- Luz, face sweating and dragging you away: ThEy DIdn’T mEAn iT!!!
- conformatorium escapee buddies together
- you both definitely have wanted posters for different things and honestly, it makes Eda very proud
- You have no idea why she’s proud though
hunter:
- in the beginning he’d probably point out how innocent you are, maybe accidentally making you feel stupid but this would never be his intention with you this boy absolutely adores
- (Probably cause he hasn’t really had a chance to experience love just yet and he may be mildly obsessed with you)
- only titan knows how this boy doesn’t lose his mind sometimes
- he completely adored you but you worry him with how innocent you can be
- honestly, you both probably have the whole ‘dumb x smart’ dynamic going on (you’re not stupid, just super naive but super cute so dw)
- this boy will be explaining something and if a question pops in your head, you ask it. sometimes he’ll pretend to me irked, but he loves sharing any information he knows
- SO MUCH FLUFFFFFFF
- he knows he’s uptight sometimes but he tries his best with you to grow and be lenient with your innocence
- it’s honestly a surprise when you two start officially going out because he is a very big rules and authority person abut because of the trouble you get into it’s sort of out of the norm for him
- you’re his little way of rebelling against belos even if you may not realize it :)
- now, after the whole belos ordeal and you’re all in the human realm hunter would be different around you a bit
- More laid back and chill
- he’s such a smartass about your innocence, cracking jokes about your questions and acting a bit of a know it all
- He’d be happy to answer questions you have without problems
- his ass would trick you and answer the questions wrong and would just watch the chaos that would ensue from this
- flustered.
- that is the only word to describe this boy and how your innocence affects him

Wild witch! reader x Hunter
Tumblr media
A/n: This takes place during season 2a. Also your 16.
p/n: palisman's name
f/f: favorite flavor
You were very well known around the Boiling Isles! But less of a celebrity and more of a wanted criminal. Not that many people disliked you, but not many people dare talk to you. Which definitely hurt. But you carried on, not like you could do much about it. I mean you could get a sigil but there was no way in hell that was happening. So for now you'll have to deal with the dirty looks and getting chased by scouts.
When you were going about your daily routine you noticed a few scouts and sighed. You pulled your palisman out in preparation. But the leader of the group caught your eye. The Golden Guard. Most of the time it was some other random scout. On a day that you could assume much wasn't going on it was Warden Wrath. So needless to this was more than a shock. You rationed they most likely weren't here for you. I mean in a market a whole bunch of shady business was going on. Nonetheless, you made sure they couldn't see you just in case.
While you were trying to avoid needing to break out of the Conformatorium again, just in case they saw you. But then you overheard The Golden Guard talk and instruct the scouts to find you. Well, there goes any hope of having a normal day at the market. You grumbled as you snuck towards a stand selling rotten candy and Hex-Mix. The vendor's eyes shifted to you and a wanted poster of you. "Are you-" "Yeah, yeah can you just give me the Hex-Mix?" You tossed a few snails on the counter. The vendor quickly gave you a bag and gestured for you to leave.
You got on your palisman and prepared to leave. "There they are!" You heard a voice yell. "Here we go." You thought out loud. You started to speed off while you overheard The Golden Guard yelling at scouts behind you. You made a bunch of random twists and turns to get them off your trail but they would just not leave you alone. "Titan didn't know anyone in the Emperor's Coven was competent." You thought. Suddenly magical rope constricted you. After some struggle, you broke free. After that mini-heart attack, you went as fast as you could finally losing them. You landed on top of a mountain and sighed. The first time it was a challenge to get away. Hopefully, that was a one-time thing. But nothing could go your way when it comes to the law, could it?
The next week you saw the same Golden uniform. Right as you comprehended who it was, the figure was running towards you. The same magic rope was shot at you but you moved out of the way. "Y'know I thought it was pretty cool to be more wanted than Eda. But I somehow forgot this part of it." You stopped the rope with plants. You heard the Golden Guard groan from behind his mask. You chuckled and wrapped yourself in abomination goop, transporting yourself to your house. You looked at P/n and sighed. "I'm sorry but it seems like you're going to need to fly a lot whenever we go out." Your palisman nodded playfully. "Such as now, I still need to get griffin eggs."
You thought about putting an invisibility spell on yourself when you first entered, but you would just get rid of it in the end. So you flew to the market, fully visible. You quickly bought griffin eggs and then left. But suddenly you were wrapped in abomination goop. You tried to break free but couldn't. "There's no way to break free, so don't waste your energy, or do, I don't care." The Golden guard said. He started walking with you. "So why do you arrest wild witches." "It's against the Titan's will." You raised one of your eyebrows. "But the Titan made wild magic. Also, they didn't make sigils." The Golden Gaurd paused. "Stop trying to mess with my head." He snapped out. "Okay?"
You soon aboard a ship. he slightly shoved you onto the ground. "So what's your name?" You asked as you got up. The guard started to whistle. "Hey!" You yelled. You could tell he tensed up a little bit. "What's your name?" "You don't need to know." He stated. "I wanna know who's kidnapping me." "If I tell you will you shut up." "Probably not. But I'm not going to stop asking until you tell me." He grunted. "Fine. My name is Hunter." "Cool my names y/n." "Yeah, I know."
You walked over to Hunter and kept asking him questions. "Shut up and sit back down." You just rolled your eyes. "Okay tell me, witch, what will shut you up?" "Besides freeing me?" "Besides freeing you." You thought for a moment. "Take me out to diner." Hunter sighed, "Be serious." "I am! Can't go to jail on an empty stomach." "Fine." Hunter drifted the ship downward. He landed at a Dairy scream. "Eyescream? really?" "I didn't have to do this. And besides, there is food besides Eyescream." "Only insane people order burgers a DAIRY scream." "There's cheeseburgers." You slightly chuckled.
Hunter got out a red bird palismen. It turned into its staff from. He did... Something that definitely wasn't abomination magic. It moves the goop from around your waist to around your wrist. You made a mental note of the bird. "There. Now you can eat easier." "I'm probably just going to get an f/f milkshake though." Hunter quickly draw a plant glyph and made it wrap around your legs. "You know glyphs count as wild magic right?" "I don't have anything else to use. It's for the greater good." Hunter excused.
You hummed as you waited for Hunter. He came out with a milkshake. "Okay let's go back to the ship." He shoved the milkshake in your hand. You walked out of the vines with ease. "So why do you have a palismen? I thought Belos hated them." Hunter stiffened and stopped walking. "Yes... But he made an exception." You can tell he was lying but decided not to push it. Soon you arrived back at the ship.
Hunter looked at his watch and became panicked. "Crap, crap, crap uncle's going to kill me!" "Why?" You asked. "I was supposed to be back ten minutes ago!" "So? I've been to the castle it's only five minutes away." Hunter started up the ship. "That's fifteen minutes late! I can't keep disappointing  him." You put down your milkshake and walked over to Hunter. "It's going to be okay dude. You brought me to him didn't you?" That barely seemed to calm him down. "Breath with me." You said. You slowly breathed in and out.
Hunter calmed down and then glared at you. "Why do you care what I feel?" You paused, "I don't know, I guess because you're the nicest out of everyone who arrested me. Also, I've heard that you're only 16. You shouldn't be worried about your uncle punishing you for being 15 minutes late." He paused and he got rid of the handcuffs. "Leave." "What-" "Please just make it seem like you escaped." You nodded and got out p/n. "Ha! You could never keep me in one place for too long!" You exclaimed despite no one being able to hear. you. You winked then flew away. You might not know why Hunter let you leave, but for once, you felt like there was a bright future for you.
A/n: I accidentally copy and paste the fanfiction in the middle of the fanfiction so sorry if I fucked it up sorry.

With nothing to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson), king of the gods, and unleash hell on earth. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, can Perseus accept his power and defy fate to create his own destiny? Wrath of the Titans picks up 10 years on from his heroic battle with the monstrous Kraken, with Perseus now living a quiet life by the sea with his young son. But war is raging between the gods and the Titans, and Perseus learns of a treacherous plan for world domination by his power-hungry uncle Hades and godly half-brother Ares (Édgar Ramírez). No longer able to ignore his calling, Perseus joins forces with warrior queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son Agenor (Toby Kebbell) and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy) to enter the underworld, rescue the banished Zeus and overthrow the Titans once and for all.

Films that are easy to sell happen to be the worst films. Look at the poster for 'Wrath of the Titans' and 'John Carter': they're exactly the same. You could switch titles.

The Season Finale Promo...!
New promo! The Season Finale promo, my heart can NOT take this…!
We get our very traumatic flashback to Eda’s transformation… Then we have a close-up shot of an Emperor’s Guard doing the drums! It’s probably a parade making a big announcement that YO, Eda the Owl Lady, the allegedly most powerful Witch on the Boiling Isles, has fallen to Emperor Belos! That’s right people if you think you had a chance against him before, well- Not anymore! Considering how young his reign is, Belos is 100% taking any chance to solidify and make it look good.
We see the book from the previous image, and I was right! It’s Belos! We get some little snippets of text, I can catch, “Belos…”, “The Savage Ages”, “from that and his past remains [unknown]”, “Savage Ages caused”, and “many people have proved willing to”… Obviously it’s making a big deal what an allegedly benevolent civilizer he is, how nobody knows where Belos came from (of course), and that if I had to guess, many were willing to fall in line with his Coven System! While I have no doubt that Belos had his fair share of voluntary supporters, I also wonder about, you know… Just how many WEREN’T in line. We also see him surrounded by flame, which further alludes to the fire in his throne room, as well as his implied genocides and executions!
We have Eda being released from Lilith’s bubble into the throne room of Belos, likely our first scene looking back at her since Agony of a Witch… And then we have King warning Luz against her crusade against Belos! We have a better look at the book cover, it’s called “The unauthorized Boiling Isles history,” yet it has the Emperor’s Coven symbol behind it? Did the EC spread its propaganda as having been the always-hidden truth, or is this someone basically taking the symbol of the EC and slapping a title over that screams, “Yeah these guys are SKETCHY, here’s why!”
The author’s name has been faded out, which only makes me more curious, but it’s also possible this won’t matter! There are no doubt many of who have defied him in the past and died… Regardless, we also get our code at the bottom of the cover, which- Whoops! It’s Blood, I guessed, you guessed it, we ALL guessed it! It’s Lilith, she’s the betrayal of blood.
NOW we have a shot of Belos with blue eyes, and I think these are his ‘regular’ eyes, because we can actually see his pupils (instead of them being drowned-out amidst the energy of a palisman’s bile)! His eyes are IDENTICAL to those of an Emperor’s Guard, which really makes me wonder if they’re the same species as him, or homunculu off-shoots made in his image? Regular Boiling Isles residents transformed by Belos’ brand to fit his ideal mold as magic-less enforcers? Or for all we know he stole the eyes of some poor Emperor’s Guard to replace his own… THAT would be a freaky thought, because…
We see him in what could be another section of his castle (there seems to be some weird, organic thing in the bottom-left corner), manifesting behind Luz initially as some… Mixed-up blob version of himself that properly solidifies into his ACTUAL intended shape! This practically confirms for me that Belos’ body isn’t all that well put-together, but there’s at least some benefit to this perhaps? Mostly it seems to be a hindrance to him. You know, I wonder if there’s some symbolism about a character who forces people to fit into a specific mold, having to do the same literally with his own deteriorating body…
What’s interesting is that he’s glowing RED when he manifests behind Luz, who KNOWS she’s messed up! Is this his natural spell-color, does this come from the Titan or some other previous victim? Regardless, the way he seems to form from the floor, this makes me wonder if the castle is essentially just another extension of him (as seen with his “I will know” line from earlier), and that because it’s a part of Belos, his body can just… disseminate within the structure and reassemble itself as it pleases!
His VA calls him ‘omnipotent’, I have to wonder if this is the result of his connection to the Titan’s Heart, and possibly the rest of the Boiling Isles; Like he can form ANYWHERE from the earth, which when coupled with my speculation about the growing limbs… It makes me wonder if Belos is basically destroying his body and constantly recreating/growing it from the ground-up to ‘teleport’! Pretty metal…
We have Luz not caring about Belos’ status, and GOOD FOR HER! She’s always had misguided optimism sure, but she’s also been someone who will take on the odds when she KNOWS what she’s doing is right! I love that defiant confidence, that she’ll give people space and room and be kind and gentle, but when it gets down to it she’s tougher than anyone else! You go, girl! I just… WANT her to go apeshit, Luz deserves it just this once, to utterly wreck her enemies!
Then we have Luz hiding as the same dude who reported on the Greater Basilisk attacks is on some orbs, announcing stuff –possibly Eda’s capture, Luz’s arrest warrant, a new big announcement by Belos for the next stage of his plan- and I have to wonder if Luz has a Wanted Poster now as well. Granted, if she did it’s a bit weird that the Emperor’s Coven didn’t bother capturing her back when she was RIGHT there at the end of Agony of a Witch… But at the same time, Luz roaming about might come as an alarm especially if she’s trying to sneak somewhere, so we’ll see.
We see Lilith by herself, holding Eda’s staff without Owlbert... But I think we see Owlbert in her other hand? I guess this confirms she’s okay, but it seems the throne room doors are closing on her, leaving her alone. I have to wonder if Belos is essentially telling her to ‘stay out of this’ while he does his own thing, and perhaps being in the same room with Owlbert is going to make Lilith have an epiphany... I HOPE at least...
We have a shot of Gus and Willow in their casual outfits but with their school cowls draped on, so I presume there’s been a sudden call for a town meeting by the Emperor’s Guard for an announcement! We can see Boscha’s green-haired friend, another Hexside student from the Oracle track (they were BOTH on the field trip to Belos’ castle), and what even appears to be the Lead Demon Hunter! I wonder how the Demon Hunters feel about the Coven System, if they were once Wild Witches and technically were when they debuted, but then they had to be bound to a coven after Willow destroyed their livelihood!
Then we have a tapestry of Belos being torn down, possibly by Eda while she’s messing around in her beast-form! Next is a shot of Eda’s portal to the human world opening up in a dungeon, which could be the conformatorium, but it could also be another section of Belos’ castle… And this WORRIES me, because. What if someone took Eda’s key and is banishing Luz into the human realm, like I feared- And THIS is our season finale cliffhanger!? On the bright side we’ll likely get a quick resolution on the whole Creepy Luz subplot, but…
…Honestly I do NOT want this girl separated from her family again! Even if it’s Eda turning back and thanking Luz for rescuing her, but still having to save her apprentice again as she sends Luz to the human world! Dana PLEASE…!
And then we have Luz and King looking justifiably wrathful as Luz asks someone that is apparently in some crystalline-magic prison, “Where’s Eda?!” And she is PISSED, do NOT mess with this girl, you go for it! Go get ‘em! I have to wonder if she’s defeated Lilith or some random Emperor’s Guard/Witch, maybe even Kikimora or Warden Wrath? We still have two shots of them from the Season 1B trailer that haven’t debuted yet!
…Either way my heart can NOT take this, so bring it OOOONNNN!!!!!

→ MARKERKILLED, in continuation from this.
✯ PATIENCE OF A SAINT IS WHAT GETS YOU IN THE POSTERS     AND IN THE PAPERS, TOO. MAN TOO PATIENT TO ACT     GETS KILLED OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF HIS HEART.     ... BY THE KINDNESS OF HIS HEART? I’M NOT SURE.     A MOMENT OF PARALYSIS, conscious but a little slowed down     to every fiber of his being. STASIS IS ONE HELL OF A TRIP:     he had forgotten what that felt like, being hit by one. IT’S A LOT LIKE     TASING THESE DAYS, A RITE OF PASSAGE FOR BOYS IN TOWN (?)     —it’s a space station but one finds community where you can—     SOMETHING YOU EARN ALONG THE BADGE AND THE SHIELD.     TIME SPEEDS AND UNWARPS, SEVERAL SECONDS uncrunched     and now that we are all in the same present time of reality: THAT WASN’T     VERY COOL OF YOU, ISAAC. SOLDIER BOY LIVING DAY TO DAY OUT HERE     LOOKING LIKE THE RELIGIOUS TYPE? Ain’t got the money or the time of day     to give it all to the Church of Unitology.
NO MATTER, he sighs patiently, RIG helmet snapping itself back on, gentle neck cracks to both sides (the helmet always snaps a little funny all the time, give it a shake to make it fit) and he knows that the protocol is to gather the civilian population in small groups no larger than twenty per officer of the law and rendezvous at the government sector for an orderly evacuation according to age and family—mother and children first, then single citizens in ascending order of age. LOOK AROUND YOU, THOUGH, ISAAC: you are the sole survivor of the Red Markers wrought by the wrath & war within your head. THERE’S A CONSCIOUSNESS IN YOU, as to why you trust those you say you don’t, as to why you help those you believe with reasonable certain certainty would want to harvest you for what you know. But it’s that patience that puts you on the posters, or on the daily news. ❝PLAYTIME’S LONG OVER—I’m on duty now. Ain’t nobody else to protect in this godforsaken station. JUST YOU N’ I, MISTER, so go on ahead: I’ll catch up. Not like there’s two or more ways off this station.❞ AND IT’S TRUE, too, it’s a ball of steel orbiting a ball of fire with vacuum in between regardless of direction you look in. Not too many places you can go out. NOT EVEN DYING is a way out, not here, not anymore. The dead don’t stay where they are supposed to be.
HE WALKS OVER to the first aid station on the room, stepping over the dismembered sharp claws of necromorphs as Isaac’s shuttle departs. Fetching repair packs the standard issue insulation material necessary to fix up and exposed openings of his rather titanic and imposing armor. In the flickering lights and sizzling static, he whistles to the tune of the United States Sector, a little longing for home, as barren and flooded as it had become, where the air wasn’t canned and compressed and the gravity was not dependent on your boot and the winds did blow in all four directions.

DCeased #6
Tumblr media
My favorite time of year is movie poster variant month! But now that I buy so few DC comics, this is the only one I bought. I think.
At the end of the last issue, Superman had become a zombie and turned his undead wrath upon Earth. So I'm not sure why this is an extra-length issue. Won't it just be thirty pages of the Earth burning and everybody screaming and zombified Batman saying, "--tt--"? If Batman and Lex Luthor are dead, who else has the kryptonite needed to stop Superman from destroying the last vestiges of the human race? And why is Ambush Bug never even a part of Elseworlds stories? Oh, I forgot that I mentioned Damian would probably have the Emergency Back-Up Plan B Superman Containment Option left to him by his dad.
Tumblr media
Batman knew that if Green Arrow ever turned evil, he'd just eventually be shot by a cop.
Wonder Woman forges a magic sword from Damian's kryptonite and flies off to stab Superman in the face. I'm sure she'll kill him but then she'll turn. Then who will stop Wonder Woman? She should let Cyborg implant a bomb on her so that if she turns fighting Superman, he can just blow her up before she gets a chance to turn Green Lantern or Firestorm. Somebody has to come up with a way to stop this domino shitshow. The arks were built before Martian Manhunter attacked. Maybe he was too scared of Firestorm's flaming head to attack immediately. Anyway, a bunch of people begin escaping on the two arks (which hold seven million people each) before Superman has been dealt with. I have a feeling seven million people are about to die screaming. Poison Ivy chooses to remain on Earth and Harley chooses to remain with Poison Ivy. Then they bang for like ten pages. Or they would if DC liked money.
Tumblr media
Bye bye giant penis! You're no longer needed down here!
Aquaman sees your giant penis ship and raises one gigantic vagina.
Tumblr media
This is what a vagina looks like, right? Unshaved, obviously.
For the record, Mera has the best ass in the DC Universe. I know most everybody is scoffing and shouting "Dick Grayson!" at me. Some of you remember Supergirl's bum as being the best and, at the time, under Mahmud Asrar's watch, it absolutely was the best ass. But at this point, Mera's ass is canonically the finest ass in the DC Universe. And now I must stop writing about it or I'll need to take a secret break.
Tumblr media
I still want to see Green Arrow in a foot race against Batman. Why am I the only one who wants that story?!
While the Atlanteans battle the Amazons (isn't that always the way?), Black Green Canary Lantern, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman battle Superman. Dinah begins by creating a huge bullhorn to amplify her sonic scream and, I mean, come on. Look at how eloquent my turns of phrase are in complimenting that attack! "I mean, come on" is like the biggest compliment I can give a writer for one of their ideas. It's like saying, "I didn't want to use any brain power to come up with a compliment because all of my brain power was being diverted to appreciating your idea." My second biggest compliment is offering to jerk off the writer (I am of the firm belief that the term "jerk off" is non-gendered so don't think I'm just willing to pull some puds. I can bang some fingers too!). The Amazons remain behind to fight off the Atlanteans while the second ark takes off. To keep the arks safe, Wonder Woman cuts off Superman's arm and stabs him in the chest. But of course Superman punches her in the ovaries and bam! She's now one of them! She gives her magic kryptonite sword to Dinah so Dinah can finish him before he destroys the arks. Cyborg remains behind as penance for starting this entire catastrophe. I always knew he was a terrible character. If only Marv Wolfman would have left him as a brainless toaster back in The New Titans. As Superman nears the arks, Superboy has to leave to battle him to buy the arks more time. Lois is all, "Yeah, yeah. Hurry up. Save your mom now! So sad! Good luck!" Then she begins thinking up a great first sentence for the article she'll write that will win the first Martian Pulitzer. As Superboy is knocked out by his dad, the entire Green Lantern Corps finally arrive led by Guy Gardner. Finally! A real hero that can stop this disaster from spreading! I suppose if Guy can't end this catastrophe, the world's last hope will be Lobo.
Tumblr media
I love him so much. Mostly because I love me and, I mean, he just defined me in describing himself!
Superman flees into the sun and begins devouring it. I suppose that's something I've always known Superman could do. Sure, his big plan to stop the virus from turning him was to fly into space and asphyxiate. But he can also consume an entire sun. I think maybe Batman was right about living Superman. He just wasn't imaginative enough to ever stop Batman. It took the Anti-Life equation to bring out the best in him. The Green Lantern Corps escort the arks out of the soon-to-be-dead solar system and on to their Earth 2. If only they knew how terrible Earth 2 is! Poor survivors. Back on Earth, Cyborg learns the cure was in him all along. So he clicks his heels together and Wonder Woman snaps his neck. Oh well! Goodbye, Earth! Goodbye, Sol! Goodbye! DCeased #6 Rating: This one time, I ate half a bag of hallucinatory mushrooms and went out to a club. While at the club, I had to pee. At least I felt like I had to pee. Sometimes when you're on mushrooms, it's hard to tell if you really need to pee or not. While waiting for a urinal to be free, I realized how awkward it was to wait to pee while not watching other people pee but also needing to sort of watch them pee so you don't miss out on a free urinal. Reading this series wasn't anything like that.

Avengers: Endgame’ – release date, cast, trailers and everything we know so far
Tumblr media
Latest updates:
A new 60-second snippet sees the Avengers facing off against Thanos for the first time since The Snap.
Chris Evans responds to rumours that Captain America will die.
A new batch of character posters has given us an idea of who has survived the snap…
Avengers: Endgame’s suspected 3 hour run-time looks likely – with AMC supposedly revealing it by accident.
The latest series of teaser posters have been released to mark one month to go until the film’s release.
Mark Ruffalo teases the plot during lie detector test – Hulk and Black Widow romance, anyone? What about the Hulk actually being a Skrull?
Gwyneth Paltrow hints about her future in the MCU – is she about to face the wrath of Thanos?
Fans spot that two Thor characters Dr Erik Selvig and Darcy Lewis are likely to have survived the Infinity Snap.
Have any trailers been released? Yes! After the first full trailer, we’ve been handed a new 60 second snippet. In a nutshell, it’s one of the most telling sequences so far. As well as an emotional moment that sees Cap telling Iron Man that he trusts him (get the hankies ready), we see the surviving members of the Avengers preparing to face off against the Mad Titan for the first time since the devastating impact of the snap.
After receiving our first glimpse at the film in December last year, a second snippet also aired during the Super Bowl in February 2019.
Unsurprisingly, things look very dark as we see Steve Rogers attempting to deal with the unparalleled misery that Thanos has unleashed.
“Some people move on. But not us,” Rogers boldly declares. There’s also a telling shot of Tony Stark working alongside Vision, which suggests that perhaps all is not lost. It comes after the first trailer showed a similarly bleak look at things.
Tumblr media
How long will it be? Get your butts ready – it looks like we could definitely be in for a three-hour trip to the cinema. In a 2018 interview with Empire Magazine, the Russo Brothers spoke about how they’re struggling to cut down the length as the April 2019 release of Infinity War draws ever closer.
According to the pair, “There’s a high probability that this movie will clock in at around three hours. It’s a big movie with a lot of story."
What is the title and release date for Avengers 4? The film is called Avengers: Endgame and is released in the UK on April 26, 2019, and in the US on May 3, 2019.
As for the title, Mark Ruffalo teased fans that he’d accidentally revealed it during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Strangers ch. 15
Xiumin and Lisa both surprise you, albeit with very different stakes.
Pairing: Yoongi x (female) Reader
Word count: 1.4k
Genre: Fluff
|mlist|
<–– Prev   Next ––>
“So this is what you meant by see you tomorrow?”
Xiumin shrugs. “I hope you’re not disappointed?”
“How could I be?” you laugh, accepting his offered bouquet. “Here I was, ready for work–”
“Surprise! No work, just brunch,” Xiumin says, procuring a pastry box from behind him. “I bought croissants.”
“Yummy! Come in, let me make some coffee.” you pad back inside and set the coffeemaker to work, swiftly sweeping scrap paper and your latest homework assignments off the kitchen table to make room for two plates.
“Sorry for the mess,” you apologize.
“Not at all! It’s my fault for dropping in on you like this,” Xiumin says, setting down the box.
“You dropped in with flowers and food,” you say, grabbing a spare mug from the cupboard as the coffeemaker announces that it’s done. “You’re totally forgiven.”
“Awesome,” Xiumin says with a goofy grin. “How can I help?”
“Could you put those in that vase over there?” you say, nodding at the brilliant pink peonies. “And how did you know my favorite flower?”
“You did a performance with your improv troupe where you mentioned it,” Xiumin says. “It’s a random thing to make up, so I figured you were telling the truth.”
“You’ve seen our performances?”
Xiumin laughs. “Sure, it’s hard to ignore the posters all over campus.”
“What’s your major again? I forgot you went to Seoul Arts too,” you admit, using the shortened name for the university.
“Visual arts with an emphasis on contemporary painting,” he says. “So basically I’m destined to work at the cafe my whole life.”
“Same. You’re talking to an actress, remember?” you remind him.
“Ah, but you’re good at what you do.”
“I’m sure you are too,” you laugh, biting into a croissant. It’s soft, flaky, and the perfect thing to help you recover from your episode last night. You’ve heard of panic attacks, but surely that’s not what your minor freak-out was.
You finish breakfast with more pleasant chatter, and Xiumin stands to help you wash up.
“I actually had something I wanted to ask you,” he says as he dries off the dishes.
“Yeah? Shoot.”
“I was wondering if you’d like to be my girlfriend?”
Wuh?
“I know it’s fast and all,” Xiumin rushes to say. “I don’t need an answer right now. I… well, you’re pretty amazing, y/n. I don’t want someone else swooping you up while I’m pretending to like you only as a coworker–”
“Xiumin,” you say, elbowing him. “Calm down. I’ll think about it.”
His eyes gleam with happiness. “You will?”
“Of course.” Why wouldn’t you? Xiumin’s a nice guy, and he likes you. You like him too, right?
“Awesome! Then I’m gonna get going,” Xiumin says. “I, uh… I may or may not have told the manager I had a morning class, and I’m supposed to be back at the cafe-” he checks his watch, “Fifteen minutes ago.”
“Yeah, of course! Thanks for breakfast.” you wave him out the door before inhaling deeply. Well, that happened.
Shit, homework! You rush to your desk and open your laptop. With the craziness of yesterday, you’ve still got so much to do before tomorrow. You groan at the realization that you have a huge presentation due Friday, and you need to rehearse a monologue for your Shakespeare unit, plus all of your day-to day homework and your job at the cafe… It’s gonna be a busy week.
And it was. Between your morning classes, afternoon study sessions and night shifts at the cafe, the week goes by quicker than you expect.
You and Yoongi text whenever you can, but with his fanmeets and comeback preparation as well as your own schedule, you only manage rushed conversations. Still, you talk about both everything and nothing at all.
You sit back Saturday afternoon and stretch. It’s been a whirlwind of a week– you had dinner with Xiumin twice and Lisa’s come over just about every day to study with you. Even so, you’re pretty sure you failed your history exam, and your advanced literature essay was ninety percent bullshit.
A buzz behind you, and reach for your phone.
“Hello?”
“Darling y/n, my beautiful wife, the most amazing–”
“Lisa,” you sigh, bemused. “What do you want?”
“How do you know I want anything? Maybe I’m just wishing you a happy early birthday.”
“You only get that compliment-y when you want something.”
Lisa laughs over the phone. “You caught me. My housemates are having a cocktail party tonight, and I really don’t feel like going– you know how snobby they get when they’re drunk off martinis. Can I sleep over?”
“Of course! God forbid you face the wrath of Wendy’s tipsy critiques again,” you giggle. “Yeah, come on over whenever. We can watch a movie and stuff ourselves full of the cheapest ramen money can buy.”
“You know me so well,” Lisa says, sighing wistfully. “I’ll be there in an hour.”
“By which you mean three.”
“Don’t expose me, y/n!”
You laugh. “See you soon.”
Three hours later you hear a knock at your door and Lisa walks in with her overnight bag.
“I’m still jealous that you live alone,” she announces, flopping on your bed.
“In this tiny ass apartment that’s costing me an arm and a leg? I’ll trade you.”
“You’d rather five housemates than a kitchen you can barely turn around in?”
You consider it. “Good point. Never mind.”
“What movie do you want to watch?” Lisa asks, opening her laptop.
“Something American?” you suggest. “I’ve been meaning to practice my English.”
“Ugh, I hate subtitles,” Lisa whines. “But you’re the birthday girl, so I’ll be a good friend.”
“Wow, I feel like royalty,” you tease. “I’ll change into my pajamas. Pick whatever.”
A few hours later find you and Lisa bawling as the Titanic end credits roll.
“Th-that was beautiful,” Lisa sniffles.
“I’m never getting on a boat again,” you announce, wiping your eyes.
Still hiccuping, Lisa looks at her watch. “Woah! We need to sleep!”
You check your phone. “It’s not even midnight.”
“Yeah, but I’m totally taking you out for a birthday breakfast tomorrow, so we have to be up early.”
You smile at your friend. “Alright, fine. But you’re making too big a deal of it. It’s just a day.”
“You’re so weird. Of course it’s a big deal– your birthday only comes once a year! Now go to sleep. Goodnight!”
With the abrupt order, Lisa turns over in your bed and closes her eyes.
Why do I love her, you wonder as you climb into bed next to her. With your friend’s quiet breathing a calming constant, your eyes flutter shut and you let sleep take you.
“Did you see my bag? Did you see my bag?”
You groan, pressing your face against your pillow. “What the–”
“Sorry, sorry!” Lisa scrambles to shut off her alarm. “I forgot that was on.”
“Mm…” you’re about to turn over and fall back asleep when Lisa pokes your cheek. “Whaaat?”
“Happy birthday!”
You yawn, sitting up. “Thanks, hon.”
“Now let’s get going.”
“Excuse me?”
“I, uh… I made breakfast reservations for my bestie!” Lisa says excitedly.
“Ah, really? Thanks,” you reply, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. “Where are we going?”
“It’s a surpri-ise,” Lisa sings. “Now get dressed. Wear something a little sexy, yeah?”
Your raise an eyebrow. “Sexy? For breakfast?”
“Or don’t. You’re the birthday girl,” Lisa tells you, already waiting by the door.
Twenty minutes later you’re speeding down a highway, dressed in a snug black v-neck and high waisted shorts. It’s only breakfast, after all.
Half an hour of driving leaves you drumming your fingers against the dashboard. “Are we there yet?”
“Tsk, you’re so impatient,” Lisa complains. “We’ll be there soon.”
“Good, I’m starving.”
“You’ll be very well fed, I promise,” Lisa says, winking at you.
“O-kay…”
Ten minutes later, the traffic begins getting heavier.
“Jeez, why are so many people out this early on a Sunday?” you say, staring at the line of cars in front of you.
“No clue, maybe they all want breakfast?” Lisa suggests.
“I guess.”
You eventually park in front of a large but nondescript building. Streaming past you are dozens of chattering teenage girls, most of them wearing… what?
“Why is literally everyone wearing Bangtan merch?” you hiss at Lisa.
She laughs sheepishly. “I guess I can’t keep it a secret any longer. Surprise, y/n! I got us tickets to a BTS fanmeet. Happy birthday!”
A/N Thank you so much for reading! As always, my inbox is open and I’d love any feedback you may have :)

Hollywood's Record Holders for Most Oscar Wins
We typically think Meryl Streep when it comes to Oscar records, with the master thespian having amassed an incredible 19 nominations. But when it comes to actual wins, Streep’s not in the record books. Instead you’ll find names both famous (Walt Disney, John Williams, Katharine Hepburn) and less familiar (art director Cedric Gibbons, soundman Gary Rydstrom). As we get ready for Oscar night on Feb. 26, here are the folks who have been awarded the most statuettes. (We’re only counting “competitive” Oscars and not honorary/memorial recognition.)
Tumblr media
Walt Disney (22 Oscars)
The man behind the Mouse House holds the all-time record for Academy Award wins (22) and nominations (59). The vast majority of those wins (20, to be exact) came for producing short-form cartoons, while the other two came for producing documentaries. Disney won four alone in 1954, also an Oscars record. (He was also recognized with an additional four honorary awards, including, yes, one for creating Mickey Mouse.) (Photo: Hulton Archive/Getty Images)

Tumblr media
Cedric Gibbons (11 Oscars)
Not counting short film winners, your all-time Oscar champ would be this art director/production designer whose wins included ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (1940), ‘An American in Paris’ (1951), and ‘Somebody Up There Likes Me’ (1956). Gibbons was nominated, but did not win, for a little film called ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (1939). His tally was no doubt helped by the fact that for many years there were two categories that recognized art direction: one for color and one for black-and-white. (Photo: Everett Collection)

Tumblr media
Alfred Newman (9 Oscars)
The music composer (not to be confused with ‘Mad Magazine’ poster boy Alfred E. Neuman) had 43 nominations total, ranking him third all time on that list (behind Walt Disney and John Williams). His wins included the famous stage adaptations ‘The King and I’ (1956) and ‘Camelot’ (1967). (Photo: Hulton Archive/Getty Images)

Edith Head (8 Oscars)
Head, a costume designer who frequently worked with Alfred Hitchcock, holds the all-time record for female winners. Her eight Oscars (from 35 nominations) included Best Picture victors ‘All About Eve’ (1950) and ‘The Sting’ (1973), as well as romantic favorites ‘Roman Holiday’ (1953) and ‘Sabrina’ (1954). She was also the inspiration for the beloved animated character Edna Mode in Pixar’s ‘The Incredibles.’ (Photo: AP Photo)

Tumblr media
Alan Menken (8 Oscars)
The Disney maestro won two Academy Awards apiece (in the song and score categories) for ‘The Little Mermaid’ (1989), ‘The Beauty and the Beast’ (1991), ‘Aladdin’ (1992), and ‘Pocahontas’ (1995). His only non-Disney nomination (of 19 total) was also his first, for 1986’s musical-horror-comedy ‘Little Shop of Horrors.’ (Photo: Ron Galella, Ltd./WireImage)

Tumblr media
Fred Quimby (8 Oscars)
Like Walt Disney, MGM exec Quimby flourished in the animated-short categories, winning all eight of his Oscars in those races. Seven out of eight of those were for ‘Tom and Jerry’ ‘toons. (Photo: AP Photo)

Tumblr media
Rick Baker (7 Oscars)
Considered one of film’s all-time greatest creature creators, the makeup artist has an impressive batting average when it comes to the Oscars, winning seven of 11 nominations. Those triumphs included ‘An American Werewolf in London’ (1981), ‘Harry and the Hendersons’ (1987), ‘The Nutty Professor’ (1996), and ‘Men in Black’ (1997). (Photo: Dan MacMedan/WireImage)

Tumblr media
Gary Rydstrom (7 Oscars)
Nominated for 17 total Academy Awards in various sound categories over the years, Rydstrom snagged two Oscars apiece for ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ (1991), ‘Jurassic Park’ (1993), and ‘Saving Private Ryan’ (1998), while also taking home a statue for the Best Picture/box-office winner ‘Titanic’ (1997). Billy Wilder (6 Oscars)
The revered writer-director-producer won three Oscars alone for 1960’s ‘The Apartment’ (Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Writing). He also claimed two trophies for 1945’s ‘The Lost Weekend’ (Best Director, Best Writing) and only one for 1951’s ‘Sunset Boulevard.’ (Best Writing). He received the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award in 1988.

Denis Muren (6 Oscars)
The FX ace has worked on every episode of ‘Star Wars’ except one (‘Revenge of the Sith’), and was honored with Special Achievement Awards for ‘Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Return of the Jedi’ because the Best Visual Effects category didn’t yet exist. His competitive wins include ‘E.T.’ (1982), ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ (1984), and ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ (1991). So yeah, he’s got a pretty cool résumé. (Photo: AP Photo)

Tumblr media
Francis Ford Coppola (5 Oscars)
After earning an Oscar for co-writing the Best Picture-winning war bio ‘Patton’ (1970), Coppola gleaned plenty of gold out from the ‘Godfather’ saga. He shared a Best Writing Oscar with author Mario Puzo for ‘The Godfather’ (1972), then won three statuettes for its 1974 follow-up, ‘The Godfather Part II’ (Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Writing). John Williams (5 Oscars)
The famed composer has earned a staggering 50 Academy Award nominations, including one last year for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ He is the most nominated person alive, and second all time to Walt Disney. But amazingly, he’s only won five times, for ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ (1971), ‘Jaws’ (1975), ‘Star Wars’ (1977), ‘E.T.’ (1982), and ‘Schindler’s List’ (1993). (Photo: Getty Images for Capitol Concerts)

John Barry (5 Oscars)
The late composer was responsible for the famous scores to 11 James Bond films, but those netted him exactly zero Oscar nominations (guess he was no Sam Smith?). He was nominated and won for 1966’s ‘Born Free’ (Best Original Song and Best Original Score), ‘The Lion in Winter’ (1968), ‘Out of Africa’ (1985), and ‘Dances With Wolves’ (1990). Lyle R. Wheeler (5 Oscars)
Known as “the dean of art directors,” Wheeler’s most celebrated work came in 1939’s ‘Gone With the Wind,’ which would earn him his first Academy Award. He also won for ‘Anna and the King of Siam’ (1946), ‘The Robe’ (1953), ‘The King and I’ (1956), and ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’ (1959), and nabbed an additional 17 nominations.

Johnny Green (5 Oscars)
Born John Waldo Green but nicknamed “Beulah,” the songwriter-composer won four Oscars for original film scores (including 1961’s ‘West Side Story’ and 1968’s ‘Oliver!’) and a fifth for producing the 1953 symphony-driven short ‘Overture to the Merry Wives of Windsor.’ (Credit: Everett Collection)

Tumblr media
Katharine Hepburn (4 Oscars)
The iconic screen star holds the all-time record for most Academy Awards won by an actress. Not only that, all four of her statuettes were won in the lead Best Actress race. She won for her first nomination, ‘Morning Glory’ (1933), and final three — ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’ (1968), ‘The Lion in Winter ‘(1969), and ‘On Golden Pond’ (1981) — with an additional eight nods in between. (Photo: Getty Images)

Tumblr media
John Ford (4 Oscars)
Ford is the only filmmaker to win four Academy Awards in the Best Director category, collecting those for ‘The Informer’ (1935), ‘The Grapes of Wrath’ (1940), ‘How Green Was My Valley’ (1941), and ‘The Quiet Man’ (1952). Yet he was not even nominated for some of his most famous Westerns, including ‘The Searchers’ (1956) and ‘The Man Who Shot the Liberty Valence’ (1962). (Photo: Getty Images)

Tumblr media
Joseph Ruttenberg and Leon Shamroy (4 Oscars)
Rutternberg (a 10-time nominee who won for ‘The Great Waltz,’ ‘Mrs. Miniver,’ ‘Somebody Up There Likes Me,’ and ‘Gigi’) and Shamroy (an 18-time nominee who won for ‘The Black Swan,’ ‘Wilson,’ ‘Leave Her to Heaven,’ and ‘Cleopatra’) share the record for most Oscars in Best Cinematography. (Photo: Everett Collection)
Source: Yahoo Movies
Tumblr media
Woody Allen (4 Oscars)
Allen won two Oscars for his breakout rom-com, ‘Annie Hall’ (1977), including his only Best Director statuette to date. But he’s also in a five-way tie in the record for most screenwriting wins, having earned gold for ‘Annie Hall,’ ‘Hannah and Her Sisters’ (1986), and ‘Midnight in Paris’ (2011). He has 24 nominations total.

Tumblr media
Jack Nicholson (3 Oscars)
If you’ve ever wondered why Jack always gets the best seats in the house on Oscar night… his 12 nominations is a record for male actors. He’s also one of only three men to win three acting Academy Awards, having snagged Best Supporting Actor for ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ (1975) and ‘Terms of Endearment’ (1983), and Best Actor for ‘As Good as It Gets’ (1997). (Photo: AP Photo)
Source: Yahoo Movies
Tumblr media
Daniel Day-Lewis (3 Oscars)
Day-Lewis, however, is the only man to have won three Academy Awards for Best Actor. Those came for his highly acclaimed performances in ‘My Left Foot’ (1989), ‘There Will Be Blood’ (2007), and ‘Lincoln’ (2012). Day-Lewis has five nominations since 1990, despite only having appeared in 12 films in that time. (Photo: AP Photo)

Tumblr media
Walter Brennan (3 Oscars)
In good company with Nicholson and Day-Lewis is Western legend Brennan, who earned four Oscar nominations over the course of six years and won for three of those: ‘Come And Get It’ (1936), ‘Kentucky’ (1938), and ‘The Westerner’ (1940). He lost for 1941’s ‘Sergeant York.’ (Photo: Getty Images)

Tumblr media
Charles Brackett and Paddy Chayefsky (3 Oscars)
Two more who are included in that five-way tie for most screenwriting wins, along with Billy Wilder, Francis Ford Coppola, and Woody Allen: Brackett, who co-wrote ‘The Lost Weekend’ and ‘Sunset Boulevard’ with Wilder, as well as ‘Titanic’ (1953); and Chayefsky, who penned ‘Marty’ (1955), ‘The Hospital’ (1971), and ‘Network’ (1976). Need one more reason that Memphis is badass? The Time Warp Drive-In. Not only does Memphis still having a thriving drive-in movie theater, the Malco Summer Drive-In, we also have a monthly all-night movie marathon with cult classics, horror, and all kinds of crazy film. This year, join us in honoring an incredible actress who has been performing nonstop for almost half a century, with an evening we call NOBODY MESSES WITH PAM GRIER: A TRIBUTE TO AN ICON. Starting out in grindhouse flicks and blaxploitation cinema of the 1970’s, she quickly rose to national fame, working with legendary directors John Carpenter, Tim Burton, Larry Cohen, and actor/director Tom Hanks. Perhaps her finest hour came in 1997, when cult director Quentin Tarantino wrote the blaxploitation-homage film JACKIE BROWN specifically for her – many consider it his best film to date, and it was a critical and popular smash. Now, as director Spike Lee is preparing to do a bio film on her life, let’s go back and visit her finest work.
