GET US TO DASHCON!!!!

as many of you know, @dashcon-two was recently announced - a tumblr convention named in honor of the previous, original tumblr convention. It's about a year from now, in Toronto, Canada, and I and @septiccoffeefreak desperately want to go so we can meet our internet friends and join in on the festivities!!!

we've been struggling to find a job outside of my commissions and store, so we don't have a lot of spending money; that's why I'm starting an ad campaign to try and promote my commissions and store, all while saving up for the big trip!!

As part of this, there are two new limited-time items on my store!!

these will be removed from the store after Dashcon2, so you can only buy them before the convention!

After ALL this time... I finally have it!

Please may I welcome you to the OFFICIAL full design for Polly/Jarvis!

This is the most fun I've had doing a digital piece since making Lars! You have no idea how happy I am with this!!!

Some closeups of my favourite parts, there's so many 'cause they're all SO GOOD

They're definitely the most elaborate Spirit design, and for the Octopod itself that's very very fitting!

I might make a simplified version that mostly affects the coral/whisp because that would be the most difficult part to recreate exactly...

#personal #thoughts #🍬 post #we already had some blue light filtering glasses but apparently rose tinted glasses are meant to help too #and Lucy mentioned trying a friend's glasses years ago and being like ''oh my god I can see comfortably even though I'm in a bright room''#so I figured we might as well get a pair of rose tinted ones as well and see how much they help #and wow okay yeah they only have a really light tint on them but I put them on being in a bright room suddenly hurts way less #it also feels like things are higher contrast somehow but idk. I can differentiate between certain colours a bit better? I think?

thinking about drawing frost mage john,,,, with silly little embroideries of bright colours on the robes n hat,,,, maybe even paint splashes on the staff,,, or just him as a wizard in general,,,,, hmmm pointy wizard hat,,,,,
