did this as a quick scribble at like 1 AM last night and...immediately lost all motivation to ever clean it up. ( ᐛ ) but I had to draw my son being the fanciest little flower boy who ever threw petals down an aisle. oh my god.

Well, here we are! After my head cannons about giving them a rock, and it might be some way to propose to fae, I’m here to deliver!

Accidentally proposing by giving him a rock (Malleus)

Being friends with fae is confusing sometimes. Of course, they’re great! But their culture is new to you, and you’re trying to learn. Of course there’s bound to be misunderstandings and mistakes every so often! It’s part of the learning process.

Well, this is probably the biggest misunderstanding that could’ve possibly happened.

You’d simply wanted to give Malleus a gift to help express how much you care about him. So when you found this nice smooth black rock with specks of gray and green, you thought it was perfect for him. Who doesn’t love rocks anyway? From what you’ve learned about fae, they’re very in tune and connected to nature. So surely Malleus would appreciate the rock!

So when you see him next, you told him had a gift for him. But when you held the rock out to him, he was…stunned to say the least. The ever so calm Malleus Draconia had wide eyes when he saw it, and he’d gone completely stiff and silent. In hindsight, that definitely should’ve told you something was wrong. But at the time, you naively thought he was just stunned you gave him a gift. You were well aware he hasn’t gotten to experience friendships like the average person first most of his life. So it made sense why he’d be surprised when you gave him a gift. He’s not used to receiving gifts.

“Child of man…do you truly mean this?”

You’d smiled at him, and nodded, “Of course. I wanted to give you something to show I care and how much I appreciate you. This rock reminded me of you with the spots of green on the black.”

Just like that, the biggest smile grew on his face. One of his hands moved and gently held onto the bottom of your own hand that held out the rock, and the other carefully picked it up. He held the stone close to his chest, and looked down at you with such softness.

“Words cannot properly express how grateful I am to receive such a gift from you. I am delighted to accept this treasure. Rest assured, I will keep it safe and make the proper preparations for everything.”

It was hard to question what he meant when he said he’d make preparations when he looked so happy and held onto the rock like it’s sacred. He probably meant that he’d set something up to protect the rock, like a place for it to sit on display or something. Yeah, that seems like something he’d do.

You thought it was odd when Sebek was at the door to Ramshackle the next morning. He seemed rather upset, and he woke Grim up with his shouting, but he insisted that it was his duty to stick around. In your freshly woken up state, you didn’t quite process everything he’d said. Something about the audacity of humans, how Malleus is so humble and kind, and that regardless he would fulfill his duty to Malleus at all costs. But all that was pretty normal talk for Sebek.

It was a lot easier to let Sebek just escort you to your first class than to try and argue about being able to get there on your own. It was a lot quieter after he left to go to his own classes. Grim actually fell asleep during class, claiming that he woke up too early from Sebek’s yelling.

Around lunch time, Lilia had stopped by your table (Scaring Ace in the process). He’d greeted you with a big smile, and arms outstretched.

“Congratulations! Young people sure do move fast. But I’m glad to see Malleus so happy. He told us all about it when he came back to Diasomnia yesterday. It seems Briar Valley’s future is looking rather interesting, and more accepting of humans.”

Okay, now you were very confused, and so was everyone else. Unfortunately, when Ace asked what was going on, Lilia just laughed.

“Ah, it is hard to keep up with younger folks sometimes. Anyway, I will be off. Much to do, things to help arrange.”

He disappeared before anyone could get another word in.

It’s safe to say you were now thoroughly confused. All you did was give Malleus a rock, and now you have Sebek acting like he had to escort you places, and Lilia congratulating you? Was the rock some magical item? It wouldn’t be the first time you accidentally came across something magical. Maybe it was Malleus just being protective? He did have a habit of going over the top a bit to protect those he cares about.

Either way, the only way to know what was really going on would be to ask Malleus himself. So after classes were over, you and Grim made your way over to Diasomnia to find Malleus.

You’d never seen Diasomnia so…scattered. Several students were moving around quickly, some even avoiding eye contact or going still as you walked past them. And sitting in the lounge was the dragon prince himself, Malleus, with a big smile on his face as he spoke with Lilia.

As soon as Malleus saw you approaching, his smile grew again, and he looked at you with such joy and affection.

“Ah, Child of man, how lovely it is for you to visit. Everything is going smoothly.”

You blinked up at him in confusion, “What’s going smoothly?”

At that, he seemed surprised for a moment before answering, “The preparations for our marriage of course.”

…

What.

Grim practically squeaked beside you at the revelation and began shouting, “Marriage?! Who said you could marry my hench-human? You didn’t even ask for permission to propose to my minion!”

Malleus laughed softly, “There was no need for me to seek your approval. Child of man proposed to me themself. It was quite the honor.”

The small direbeast looked quickly between you and Malleus in shock, and slight offense that you didn’t tell him. Malleus wasn’t a mage he wanted to provoke, but you were his hench-human! How could you propose to him without even consulting or telling him first?!

In the pause, Malleus continued, “I have taken great lengths to ensure the precious stone is safe. It is a symbol of our engagement, and will be a fine piece at our ceremony. Grandmother has already received word, and will be welcoming you to Briar Valley by my side.”

Oh great seven. The Queen of Briar Valley knows you somehow proposed to the Prince by giving him…a rock?? This must be some part of fae culture you’d yet to learn about. Courtship wasn’t exactly a priority when learning about their culture, so you hadn’t gotten there yet.

Snapping out of your shocked daze, you had to ask, “We’re…engaged??”

Malleus nodded, “Of course. Was that not the purpose of your gift of stone?”

Part of you wanted to clarify that proposing was very much not the intention, but he looked so happy and Lilia was giving you a look beside him. Malleus even told his grandma, made Sebek escort you this morning, and now all of Diasomnia is treating you like some sort of royalty. He was so excited about it. How could you tell him that you weren’t proposing when he was so excited? That might break his heart.

Unsure of what to say, you stayed silent for a moment. Lilia, ever the protector of Malleus’ feelings, laughed lightly, “Ah young love. Proposing and yet being so flustered about it. It’s relieving to see the future rulers of Briar Valley being oh so in love. Humans and fae coming together after so long.”

Malleus smiled again, and stepped by your side, “I am honored to be your chosen partner. Now, we must set up a time for you to meet Grandmother before the wedding.”

Oh yeah, you’re done for.

Do you have any headcanons for Leona and Vil's wedding, like their clothing, where it takes place and how big it was?

Oho! Wedding thoughts! ✨

I’d like to think there would be two weddings. A private and an official aka one for the heart and another for the people.

The private one is mostly organized by Leona to keep the things simple and give Vil a true day off that he can fully enjoy. It is hard to force Vil to give up the organization of his own wedding, no doubt the argument has to be something but Leona stays adamant and only allows him to take care of minor tasks.

The setting is a fancy cabin near a lake lost in a snowy wood and no more than ten or so guests. No pictures will be shared, this wedding is theirs and theirs only.

The official wedding is a regal one in Sunset Savanna. A full day of festivities broadcasted around all Twisted Wonderland. For this one, Vil is mostly in charge of, dealing with the royal family to avoid any bickering between Leona and his brother. Leona suffers in silence and regularly looks at Vil dressed in wedding attire of Savanna to remind him that the whole ordeal is worth it. Surely one of the biggest event of the year.

Crowley: ...

Crowley: I can't believe I failed to send you back.

MC: *chuckles* It's fine. I’ve learned to adapt to this world, and I have two husbands who helped me settle in permanently.

Crowley: Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade?

MC: *nods*

Crowley: Hmm... To be honest, I didn’t expect you to fall for those two. I thought you’d end up with Draconia or Kingscholar.

Ace: Oi, headmage.

Deuce: *frowning*

Crowley: I’m not saying they made a mistake in choosing you, but… *turning to MC again* wasn’t it challenging?

MC: We’ve experienced ups and downs, but the genuine love we have for one another has kept the three of us together.

Ace and Deuce: ...

Crowley: I see... Then, how did you and the present version switch places?

MC: ...

MC: It might be...

MC: Regrets?

Ace and Deuce: *nod*

Ace: Well, it was a long time ago, but you cried when it finally sank in that you would never return to your world. And let’s not forget, you had better suitors back then—like Leona, Malleus, and even Azul… *pouting*

Deuce: What Ace is saying is… well, maybe you regret choosing us in the end?

Ace: No, no, don't think about it.

MC: ...

MC: I think that’s unfounded.

Ace: How would you know?

MC: I saw how happy we are—or rather, how happy the future me is, living happily with you.

Ace and Deuce: ...

Deuce: If that's the case, we can't think of anything else.

Ace: *sigh* When is babybabe gonna come back?

MC: ...

Deuce: Ace, are you serious?

Ace: What? It's a once-in-a-lifetime moment to cringe their younger self with our endearments.

MC: ...

MC: Can I list that as a regret?

MC: I have this wish… to introduce them to my family.

MC: And to tell my parents how lucky I am to have met such wonderful husbands.

MC: So, with that in mind, I had hoped to find a way to communicate with my family back in my world…

Crowley: ...

Ace and Deuce: *tearing up*

MC: Though, of course, I never imagined it would lead to this incident.

Crowley: ...

Crowley: Your request might be plausible.

MC: Huh?

Ace: Are you saying there's a way?

Crowley: Yes, but it can only be done once.

MC: ...

MC: *smiles* Thank you, headmage.

Deuce: Wait. What if it doesn't work?

MC: Then I will have no choice but to move on.

I really appreciate the beauty of Malleus New Year's card. But most importantly, other than its gorgeousness, I also appreciate how it pays so much homage to his status and character, from the flowers, the clothes, and the setting. 🥹

We know that wisterias were prevalent in his Dorm Groovy SSR, this time its another flower which is the red plum blossom here😭❤️

In Chinese philosophy, the Plum tree’s blossom is a symbol of winter ending and a herald of spring. The tree’s pale pink blossoms are cherished because they bloom vibrantly and so bravely amidst the winter chill. They symbolise perseverance and hope, as well as, beauty thriving in adverse circumstances.

The way this flower's meaning is so matched with Malleus' character is so precious. We know he's "the herald of spring" because his birth brought forth a hope that the Draconias(or the faes in general) won't die out just yet (the ending of winter) and the fact that this flower blooms even in winter probably symbolizes the fact that when he was an egg, he was still perservering to live. This also applies to his life as he grows up. With the way even if his life is riddled with loneliness and exclusion, he makes an effort to go out and adjust himself with others, he doesn't give up even if his reality consistently places him in situation where his goals can never be achieved (that is, him being accepted socially and him being ignorant of human culture but still makes an effort to understand it), he just continues to be hopeful that someone/ some place will invite him, therefore his ability to thrive in adverse circumstances.

The way he slowly rises in this card makes me feel like it symbolizes how slow paced Malleus is "in going out/getting used to outside of his comfort zone", actually lol. He described his admission to NRC as him being nervous because its an unknown place but still hopeful for the experiences that he might get(acccording to the vignette of his GloMas SSR), just like him here rising from the snow and the way he lifts the veil which makes me think he wants to see the world outside of his country's point of view with his own eyes.

Japanese tradition holds that the Plum (or ‘ume’) is celebrated as a protective charm against evil, so the ume is traditionally planted in the northeast of the garden, the direction from which evil is believed to come.

I also read this symbolism which makes me tear up lmaooo 😭Because we know in Book 7, Briarland was invaded from northeast where the Silver Owls originated from 💀 The fact that the plum blossom is a protection flower and he's surrounded with it in this card makes me think that it symbolizes how protected he was during Briarland's era 😭and another thing to dissect from his slow rise from the snow with the fact the plum blossom signifies protection is probably the fact that he took so long to hatch despite many people caring for him.

Side note that in Malleus Bloom Birthday Groovy, it implied that he was born in daytime during a snowfall, and he was happy experiencing the winter, just like in this New Years card where he's smiling against the heavy snowfall 🥹

In Japan, plum blossoms symbolize good fortune, an auspicious flower, along with pine and bamboo, and the arrival of early spring. They are often used as the design for New Year’s greeting cards and other celebratory occasions. (And maybe this is just the likely reason why this flower is here in Malleus' card and I'm overthinking it above lol

Next thing I want to mention is his clothes, that attire reminds me of the formal outfit of a Japanese Emperor (From what I searched, its called sokutai, but what Malleus wears is much more simpler I guess, its a outfit derived from it which is called ikan.) This post is a great overview about these two outfits.

Ikan is the work clothes of nobles and government officials in the Imperial Court after the Heian period. Sokutai is a formal costume for those from the Emperor to the court nobles in and after Heian period (Heian costume). Ikan is called 'tonoi (nighttime) costume', whereas sokutai is called 'hino (daytime) costume'. (which probably references the fact that he's a night fae)

The point is, what Malleus wears in this card is a very traditional garment that only high ranking Japanese officials can wear. But what he wears isn't the clothes of an emperor yet, but just for a high ranking official, which is accurate to his status that he's still a crown prince not yet the king, because only Maleficia truly rules Briar Valley right now.

I love the decision that they made him wear such a prestigious outfit because the story of the New Years event is the characters working on customer service lol Its like his clothes is a reminder that he is still highly distinguished even if temporarily he's a worker.

Lastly the VEIL !!!!!! That's the thing that catched my eyes the most in this card lol I KNOW they're not referencing a wedding here because the veil don't look the same, but its so good not to mention that the one of the headress of a Japanese bride is called tsunokakushi and its description can be related with Malleus a lot lol.

The term is a compound of 角 (tsuno, "horn") + 隠し (kakushi, "hiding"). This derivation is listed in some sources as a reference to hiding a bride's "horns" of anger, jealousy, or other negative qualities, in order to present a more virtuous image for the wedding. However, this interpretation might be a folk etymology resulting from a shift in the reading and meaning.

The headdress and the veil aren't the same thing but I kinda feel like this is the idea they're going for considering the veil is 1) hiding his horns, 2) he's a character associated with being jealous, and most importantly, 3) only the person he is looking at can see his face (which is the point of most wedding veils/headdress, to hide the bride's face so that only her partner can see it).

But long veils, like the one Malleus is holding is also just a garment for a noble to hide their nobility. Which is this is probably the likely reason, considering he's using that veil to cover up his horns and his clothes, the most obvious features of his status.

Also, it could be just a fun reference to the fact that Maleficent in live action wore a long veil to hide her horns so that she wouldn't scare the humans lol

The brisk wind bit at your nose, and you pulled up your scarf, trying to keep away the offending wind. Around you it was a winter wonderland, all made possible in the temperate conditions thanks to Cater, who was filming you skating around on the frozen pond’s surface.

“You know,” you hollered, making sure that you caught his attention, “you should join me! It’s fun!” You came to a stop by the pond’s edge, where Cater was standing with a large thermos.

Cater just shot you a wink, handing you the thermos. “This is for you though, silly!” 

He was deflecting, you could tell; behind that bright and cheery smile that he always seemed to wear around others, you knew when there was something off with Cater. You accepted the thermos though, and took a sip of the spicy apple cider, still piping hot.

You gave him a look and pulled lightly on his coat sleeve. “Yes, but it’s more fun with others, come on Cater!” You stepped back onto the ice, and slowly skated near him, waiting with an eager smile.

He looked at you, and then back at the ice, but he stayed standing in the light snow, shooting you that smile. “But I can’t take photos if I’m out there with you!” He scratched at the back of his neck.

Liar. “Cater,” you looped back around and stepped onto the bank, balancing on your skates, “do you not know how to skate?”

Cater’s smile turned sheepish, and his ‘ahahaha, looks like my gig is up’ chuckle made its appearance. He had been found out. “Never got the chance to,” he hid his face slightly in his scarf, either to keep the cold at bay or to hide that his cheeks were turning pink. “So I’d just slow ya down.”

You took his hand into yours, “Well, I could teach you if you wanted. Just a warning though, you’re gonna fall on your butt a lot, might get a few bruises.”

Cater looked down at your entwined hands. Mittens and gloves separated your skin from touching one another, but Cater could swear that he could feel the sensation nonetheless through the layers of fabric.

“You would? Even if I pull you down with me?” 

The last question wasn’t just about the ice skating; Cater didn’t want to force you to do anything that you didn’t want to… and that included being his friend. His heart seemed to whisper stronger emotions though, but he didn’t want to ruin what the two of you had.

You walked him out to the ice, and the both of you swiftly fell down on the ice, hard. But you just laughed and got right back up again, “Well, we did just fall. There isn’t anything scary about falling down; yes it stings and might leave a gnarly bruise, but in order to move forward we have to fall and get back up. So yes, is what I guess I’m saying.”

Cater looked up at you, the sun illuminating you and the snow glittered behind you. You were holding your hand out again, waiting for him. And Cater took your hand. 

It took him a while to get the hang of it, and he fell down quite a bit, but every time he fell down you helped him back up. And by the time that the sun was setting in the west, the both of you were cold, and both were going to wake up tomorrow with some bruises. It was fun though, which is all that mattered… but that whisper in Cater’s heart was by now singing, and maybe he would listen to it, but for now, he was happy with how the way things were, and he wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world, especially with how much you had smiled today. Your smile and knowing that you had fun with him was enough.

Twisted Weddings: The Video Ad - For Better or Worse - Leona

Summary: Time for the final ad. The video one which you were going to be starring in with Leona at your side as possibly the most grudging groom ever. But even then, you couldn’t quite help but enjoy yourself at the antics you got into with the beastman.

I really didn’t know how I’d managed to forget that the final model for the groom’s clothes was Leona. But I had.

And, in true Leona fashion, he managed to look perfectly amazing in his suit. Infuriatingly so.

Though that wasn’t to say that any of the other guys hadn’t exactly looked exactly. It was just that they somehow weren’t as annoying. Though, to be fair, none of them had been smirking at me the way he was as I walked over to him. Doing my best to ignore the way the train on my dress dragged along the ground behind me or the way my veil fluttered around me.

But I couldn’t deny that my outfit was perfectly glorious, and I had no doubts it had to be.

After all, I was going to be standing next to a prince for this ad.

“I’m surprised you're not drowning in all that white, Herbivore,” Leona didn’t even bother to hide his amusement as he crossed his arms. Leaning up against the doorway of the chapel we would be walking out of for this video.

Because Crewel had already explained it. 

The road was going to be lined with our classmates, who were going to be dressed as wedding guests and throwing petals at us the very second we opened the door. The video itself would be of us walking out of the church.

Hence the train on my dress.

I met Leona’s grin with a largely unimpressed expression as I came to a stop, lifting one shoulder in a half shrug, “I’ve gotten used to wearing this much white over the past few days.”

He snorted at my dry tone, pushing himself off the wall and offering me his elbow even as he eyed the door with a rather impressive level of distaste, “Well, let’s get this over with then.”

I felt myself grin at his muttered words, and I glanced his way as I rested my hand in the crook of his arm, “Hey, for better or worse, right?”

“And something tells me it's definitely going to be worse. There’s no way a single one of those idiots is going to hold back,” I almost snickered at his words, earning myself a slight look even as I reveled in his mild annoyance.

“It won’t be so bad. It’s just petals,” I patted his arm in a faux show of comfort, and he rolled his eyes, looking back towards the doors as we both braced for them to swing open.

“You obviously haven’t ever been caught in a frenzy of confetti,” I felt my eyebrows lift at his bitter words. Idly wondering exactly when he’d been caught in a so-called ‘frenzy of confetti.’

“No, I can’t say I have,” I shifted idly, wondering exactly what our cue would be for us to take off.

Leona reached over, adjusting his tie as he continued to eye the doors in front of us, “Count yourself lucky then, Herbivore.”

As if his bitter words were a signal, the doors swung open, and we were immediately greeted by loud cheers that almost had me stepping backwards in surprise. The only thing that stopped me was Leona starting forward purposefully and hauling me along with him.

“Remember to smile,” I mumbled the reminder right as he tugged me into a veritable explosion of petals as everyone laughed around us. Utterly delighted to drown me and Leona in flower petals for the sake of advertising.

“Speak for yourself, Honey,” His words were perfectly saccharine, and I almost shot him a look at the way he emphasized the perfectly mocking endearment.

But I hardly had the time as we sped up, and distantly I wondered if our hurried footsteps would ruin the video, but I hardly cared as more petals rained down around us as if everyone were attempting to blind us.

Frenzy of confetti, indeed. I could hardly see anything for all the soft, white petals that we were being pelted with. In fact, from my and Leona’s perspective, it looked more like a snowstorm than any shower of petals.

Distantly, through the cheers and whoops of our classmates, I heard Leona mutter something, and then next thing I knew, I was getting yanked towards him.

I let out a startled sound as he scooped me up and took off at an even more brisk pace as I wrapped my arms instinctively around his shoulders.

Cheers and whistles broke out all around us the moment I was in his arms, and I could almost perfectly imagine Crewel’s annoyed face.

Because this was definitely going off-script.

But even knowing that we might get in serious trouble with our alchemy professor over this, I felt myself start laughing. Slowly at first, with just a few giggles at the ridiculousness of the situation, before I was laughing aloud and slumping slightly against Leona in the throes of my own amusement.

But who would have ever pictured Leona, in a suit, toting me, in a wedding dress, as our classmates effectively attempted to commit murder via petals?

By the time we emerged on the other end of the street and free of the petals, I had my face buried in the side of Leona’s neck as I strained to catch my breath between giggles as our classmates laughed behind us.

I straightened slowly, out of breath, as Leona turned with me to glower at our classmates, and I watched as Crewel emerged from the sidelines.

And, despite all my expectations, he looked grudgingly pleased.

Next to him, the cameraman looked elated as he stumbled over towards us, words streaming from his mouth as he looked towards Crewel, “That was amazing! It was so natural and fluid! People are going to love this. I guarantee it.”

Crewel crossed his arms, idly surveying the lot of us as he shook his head with an expression that bordered on fondness even as Leona shot a look over at the cameraman. His words leaving no room for argument even as I grinned at both him and the way his tail whipped around behind him, “Good. Because we aren’t doing it again.”

And despite Leona’s irritable words I knew quite simply that, for my part, if Crewel were to ask again, I would be more than willing to model clothes with these boys again.

!! CHAPTER 7 / DIASOMNIA ARC SPOILERS !!

Heyyyy I'm still alive and kicking, been doing a lot during the summer and I got some vacant time now so let's go (Kalim's Dream):

We're getting right into the action ya'll we are currently transmigrating into Kalim's dream and Vil is not having a good time (he's screaming his ass off). We land in front of a school and Vil is just distraught about dream hopping that Yuu, Grim and Idia are making fun of him for it 😭; but Vil wasn't letting it slide with Idia (he threatened to smash his screen/LCD).

Ok yeah going back we see a fountain with the sultan's (the sultan from Aladdin) statue in the middle. Then Grim get curious of said statue that he jumps??? into the fountain??? Then we get the KALIM APPEARANCE RAHHHH

He explains to the group that the sultan serves as the main figure of the school they're in: Qasr Sultanate Academy. Kalim also doesn't recognize any of them because he's a second year of the school, he also doesn't recognize NRC but once he heard that they were from Sage's Island; he assumes they're having a tour.

He also notices that the group is dying from the heat due to their uniforms, so he uses Oasis Maker to hydrate them. We learn that in this dream, Kalim manifested his magic at the age of 14 and created the academy to train his magic (OKAY DAMNNNN THAT'S JUST A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF RICH). That's when Kalim summons his servants to give the guys a feast because apparently you can bring servants to the school even if then if they won't be considered as "students" and Sebek's like "NRC doesn't even permit outsiders" (talk about culture shock)

That's when they start talking about stories from their homeland, Kalim brings up the story of Aladdin and the Sultan; while Silver and Sebek bring up the story of Sleeping Beauty. Grim notices that while Kalim isn't that much different, it's strange that he isn't at NRC knowing how much he loves the school. That's when Ortho makes the connection between Kalim and Vil, what could be the possible tragedy that happened for Kalim not to be at NRC in his dream (well they're about to find out) then we get a JAMIL JUMPSCARE

(why is he smiling, it kinda scares me)

So what Kalim really wanted was to be friends with Jamil despite their differing statuses (aw :( ) and thus the group plays along by introducing themselves to this Fake!Jamil. Vil's impressed with Silver and Sebek's acting skills, I mean if you have encountered a war general, a buff twink and a Savanaclaw fanboy; you'd at least pick up on some acting along the way.

But of course, Silver and Sebek do know that there is something off about the Fake Jamil because he asked Kalim to get something for him and they're just calling the Fake out 💀. That's when Fake!Jamil reveals itself as the darkness and tries to drag Kalim down with him, but Kalim is starting to remember everything.

KALIM SMACKS US WITH THE QUESTION FROM BOOK 4 IMA JUMP OFF GOODBYE

That's when Fake!Jamil uses Snake Whisper on Kalim but Kalim wasn't buying it then the Fake!Jamil starts saying stuff along the lines of how they grew up as brothers and have never been shy with each other despite their positions. That's when Vil snaps Kalim out of the dream about how he still kept trying to befriend Jamil despite having him betrayed by him in the past. That eventually wakes Kalim up

That's when the scene changes to Book 4's overblot battle, when Fake! Jamil tries to help Kalim stand; he swats the fake's hand away. That's when Kalim replies to Vil that it's because he's Jamil's master, not his best friend. But Kalim tells the Fake that he wants to befirend the real Jamil, not him.

Thus the fight begins and once it's done, Kalim cries now let me show you his groovy

The whole plan is then revealed to Kalim, who is now fully awake. Kalim is now added to the party because he's the only one who can awaken Jamil because they know each other. He also mentions that it's usually done the opposite way (Jamil doing the waking up), so it's nice to see the roles swapped.

I don't think my summaries captures the full essence of Kalim's dream so I really recommend that you watch english translations if they're out. But yeah will be translating Jamil's dream in a bit, took me awhile cuz I had a lot of things to do but yeah see ya'll soon~
