I’m always over-researching and been fascinated by the fact that people used to get letters delivered around 8 times a day back in 1800s, so it wasn’t too different than instant messaging!! But I’ve been struggling to find if that was just for big cities or small villages had that many visits from the postmen as well.

What is Interchange Island?

Interchange Island is a roguelike economic survival game where you pick your train routes to maximize profits. 🚂💰📈

Being a train conductor offers a cozy variation on the roguelike formula. By transporting passengers to their destination or dropping off specific cargo, new shops will open, and game changing events will be put in motion. Choosing when and where you take your train matters. Decide who and what you transport to keep your train business on track!

Upgrade Your Train

Buy, upgrade, and switch between numerous different train car types. Passenger cars can be upgraded to allow for more travelers, or can be customized to attract specific types of passengers. Cargo cars can also be upgraded to add more space, and optimized for specific cargo. Make a pit stop to switch up your setup whenever you like!

Meet Your Passengers

Enjoy a varied cast of characters filled with humans, animals, ghosts and more! Many passengers have their own story to tell. Follow along with their stories by bringing them to their desired destinations. Some stories will have branching paths that can be explored in multiple playthroughs. Watch your passenger’s open a shop in one run, and become mayor in the next.

Stacking the Odds

By discovering the possibilities and benefits of completing passenger quests, and upgrading your train accordingly, you can stack the odds in your favor to defeat your mounting debt payments!

Hi, I’m Madison otherwise known as Ghost Bunny Games! I have a professional background in both game development and programming. Unfortunately, like many other game devs, I was let go in December 2023 when the entire studio I worked at was suddenly shut down. Since being let go, I have started to work on my own project, which is now Interchange Island.

the “criticism” that larian should never have added good minthara recruitment and that that was just “pandering” to fans is so unbelievably ridiculous. what else were they supposed to do about the sheepthara exploit?? attempt to patch it out and likely fuck up plenty of people’s game files? the solution they offered literally just acknowledges the exploit without dramatically changing anything, other than the player’s ability to have both minthara and halsin in their camp. if you want to kill minthara, recruit halsin, and play an authentic good run, then do so. if you want to abandon halsin, attack the grove, and authentically recruit minthara, then do so. the sheepthara method being simplified and added into the game has absolutely zero bearing on anyone’s ability to play the game normally. some people are just making a problem out of nothing. perhaps go complain about something actually worthwhile, like the lack of content for wyll and karlach.
