It's hard to be a woman like me. Sometimes, I envy another person or fiction character's life. Wish I was them, but here I am. And then I realize nobody would be here for me except myself. So, keep up, Fish! 🦈

Christian Dior , the dark horse of couture.
Dior’s main strive in his career was to make women feel beautiful and empowered , to design and create pieces of textile that would perfectly hug any woman’s silhouette.
He grew out of the ashes of the Great Depression, after the war there was an abundance of spare material and he took it upon himself to make something of it , he teased a new era , particularly changing the way that women dressed , fashion no longer had to be just for practicality and longevity, it now could represent individuality, no longer having to change themselves to fit into the mould that society created.
“Individuality will always be one of the conditions of real elegance” Christian Dior

I'm tired
I'm tired
Of having to smile when I don't want to
Of pretending it's fine when it is not
Of going on when I need to rest
I'm tired
Of taking care of everything and everyone
Of ensuring my safety each time I step out
Of being scared when I travel at night
I'm tired
Of listening to how I ought to be
Of never being enough
Of never truly being free
I'm tired
Of all the taboos around my bleeding
Of being objectified and gawked at as a thing
Of being looked as a lesser human thanks to my gender
I'm tired of being a woman
In this patriarchal world
So I take it in my hands
To change things, one step at a time
We can no longer suffer and struggle
We want and need to live, laugh and be
I'm tired of patriarchy
And maybe it's time to replace it.

A woman's...
word denotes her wisdom, notions, sentiment that enables to speaks equality.
A woman...
Tear is her intense emotions that she felt that symbolizes compassion, cordiality and love to others.
A woman...
Laugh is everything that could surmount all the mountain and the slippery narrow path.
A woman...
is an inventor, creator and above all the rules of this sphere.

Whatever a person chooses, society has something to talk about it, especially if the said person is a woman. It's our life and the choices we make are ours. Normal person or celebrities - your judgement isn't needed. Let us be!
Yours faithfully,
Women

The never ending journey to getting my health back.
The Intro
For those of you who don’t know me, my name’s Noorie, I’m 25 years old and I’ve been dealing with health issues pretty much my whole life but more prominently since 2018 (I’ll get into the details soon). My hope with this blog is to help myself keep track of my health journey but to also give hope to other women who might be going through the same things as me. Even tho I still don’t have full knowledge of my health issues, the one thing that is helping me through this is reading articles about other women who are struggling along with me. It helps to not feel so alone in this struggle to getting my health back. A lot of people tend to be silent sufferers allowing their sicknesses to eat them alive. I’m here to say that I was a silent sufferer, until I wasn't. Never allow yourself to suffer. Seek help. Fight for help. Push for help. Eventually you will find people and medical professionals who will listen to you and fight to get you back to a good place.

You can’t do better when you don’t know better...
I’m sure many of you have heard that saying. The truth is you can’t. My mother grew up poor and she was relentless in her search for better. Unfortunately she was never taught the right way to excel. When she passed she was $30,000 in credit card debt. Her life was consumed with “Keeping up with the Joneses” At any cost she dug herself deeper and deeper in the hole. Her life and desire for better not only costed her her true happiness but it also shaped me into thinking you could only be happy through achieving wealth. I had my first job at 13 and was working the night shift at 15. Every paycheck went straight into her hands and she made sure of it. I barely passed my classes because the sole focus in my home was not education but money. As I reflect back I realized I’ve never been without a job. My validation came from my ability to work. As woman we’re always in search of approval. Whether it be someone saying, “You’re a good employee or wow you’re one of the hardest working women I know”. I relished hearing those words because they affirmed me. Like I was doing something right. Now after so many years in my walk with the Lord I’ve recognized how wrong it all was. Her duty as a mom was to teach me all the traits I would need to be successful in life not to prostitute my work for her own personal gain. When I got married I was 22 and didn’t know how to cook, clean, wash clothes, manage my finances or make sound decisions. My husband taught me all the things my mother should have. For a long time I made excuses for her. How many of you know that’s what we do when we try to cover for the ones we love. It’s time out for brushing things under the rug. If we want to experience freedom we need to call things what they truly are. Wrong is wrong. Pray and ask the Lord to help strengthen you in this area. We never want to condemn those that failed us but forgive them. In order to move forward we need to let go but in order to let go we have to first come to terms the wrong existed . I pray you be blessed and know that God is for you and not against you. Stop blaming yourself for other people’s actions. God loves you and He’s waiting for you to let go so He can heal you. Heal you from those past disappointments. I know you can do it! Thank you for reading and until next time I wish you peace, love and happiness.
