Rewatching Superstore and holy shit... Jonah is so devastated about losing Amy. The entire season, he completely loses his optimism and hope for a better future, a willingness to fight back against the corporate machine, his self-esteem is so low that he lets Marcus live with him and loses several of his key qualities? Like wow. Jonah was In Love with Amy and with that breakup he just completely spun out. I never noticed it before but watching it back the writers were clearly setting them up to get back together in the end because he had not and could not move on in the slightest.

my review of she hulk was basically “i actually really like the idea but they just forgot to make the show good” and tbh i kinda feel that way about agatha in that a lot of the writing line to line feels very bare minimum. but what agatha has going for it that she hulk does not is (1) an actual plot, which means the bare minimum goes further than it did on a show aiming to be marvel’s first sitcom and (2) a lead character with an actual personality

May all goodness, happiness, and earthly riches rain down on my former director. I spoke with her about The Current Situation this morning at 8:30. By 10:30, she’d spoken to HR’s department head on my behalf; reached out to a colleague at another company she thought might be hiring and talked me up (I’m sending him my resume today); and offered to write me a letter of recommendation for anywhere else I might want to apply.
