Ylva Fenris a wolf Faunus standing at a staggering 6'2".

She lost her arm in her youth when she was living at an orphanage, warning this story will get a little graphic.

She was out playing when she got separated from her friend, and when she found her, she was being attacked by a Beowolf. It was alone, separated from its pack when Huntsmen tracked it down. But they had lost its trail, leaving the two girls alone.

In this moment, Ylva's Semblance awoke, and she went into a blind fury. It's called Berserk, and it causes her body to internalize her aura, allowing energy to surge through her body, allowing her to perform feats of incredible strength and not feel a bit of pain. The trade off being that it robs her of defense, and the rush of energy messes with her mind, making it nearly impossible for her to think straight.

And so, in this state, Ylva was able to overpower a Beowolf at the age of 12, with heavy cost. Her face and body were gouged and scarred, and the uncontrolled strength she unleashed as she pummeled the Grimm with her left fist caused the muscles to tear and bones to splinter. That, combined with the Beowolf's defensive bites and tears, left her left arm unsalvagable and it had to be amputated.

Soon after her recovery, she was adopted by a local retired Hunter who thought it best to train her to control her Semblance, least she get herself killed with it.

Jaune: Oh my gods.

Wolf Ruby: What?

Jaune: Oh my gods.

Ruby: ...Jaune?

Jaune Oh my gods.

Ruby: What is it!?

Jaune: I found some pictures of you when you were little.

Ruby: ...No.

Jaune: Your doggy ears were so big.

Ruby: I hadn't grown into them yet!

Jaune: They're like adorable fluffy satellite dishes attached to your head.

Ruby: *Embarrassed wolf faunus noises*

Yang: *approaches Jaune*

Hey Jaune, Is Ruby still you know?

Jaune: Why don't you ask her.

*slides back from his desk*

Wolf Ruby:

Yang: ...!

Wait, ain't you supposed to be a wolf faunus?

Jaune: I don't think that's the important part... Oww!

Ruby! What did I tell you about using your teeth?

Ruby: *gag*

Wise: Don't just keep your mouth wide open like that! What if a bug flies in there?!

Ellen: (Mouth wide open)

Ruby: ...Hi!

Wise: Huh? Oh, uh, hey. We're new in town. I'm Wise and this... This is Ellen.

Ruby: Hiya, Wise. Ellen. I'm Ruby, and this is Jaune. He's... never done this before.

Wise: Yeah, this is new for Ellen, too. But, uh, since we're meeting like this, how about we all get to know each other?

Ruby: Sounds great, Weiss!

Wise: It's... Wise.

Ruby: Oh! Sorry... Your name sounds like my other friend's name...

Jaune/Ellen: (Mouths wide open)

Wolf Faunus Weiss AU (part 1)

It all started one morning, not with a change, but with an absence.

When Ruby woke up and didn't find Weiss in their room, she didn't mind. Weiss would usually wake up before anyone else (except maybe Blake) and leave to prepare herself for the day earlier. Ruby and the others would eventually find her either on the dining room already halfway through her breakfast.

But Weiss wasn't there, nor at the first lecture by professor Oobleck, or the second with professor Port. Once she didn't show up at the training exercise with professor Goodwitch, Ruby, Blake and Yang excused themselves from the class and went on looking for Weiss.

She was nowhere to be found, as if the earth had swallowed her.

Ruby was worried Weiss had ventured into the forest with the Grimms, so she went to look there, while Yang took her motorbike to look for her at the city.

Blake stayed at the school. Half in case Weiss showed up, and half because she was still hurt from Weiss' attitude towards Faunus. While it was true that they've patched things up, and Weiss did apologize to Blake, the harm was still there.

The Schnee Dust Company still enslaved Faunus, no matter how many times a single Schnee apologized for it to a single Faunus.

Blake was so lost in her thoughts about that, she didn't realize she made it into the study rooms of the library. Singular cubicles for when a student needed extra privacy. She was about to turn around when she picked up a sigh, followed by a sniff.

She opened the door of the cubicle where the sound came from, and she got to catch a glimpse of white before Weiss cried out to her.

"Don't look at me!"

But it was too late for that. Even if she wanted to, Blake couldn't advert her eyes from Weiss, sitting with her arms across her knees on the chair.

And the pair of wolf ears on top of her head.

Jaune: *Looks out at a clear field of snow in his backyard*

Jaune: Yang, come in. It's getting cold.

Yang: *Pops her head out of a snow bank* No. *Pops back in*

Jaune: ...Well I tried. Ruby, get ready for double the cuddles tonight.

Blake: *plops on the table in front of the group*

Everyone I have an announcement to make. I am in heat. I can't help it, it's a natural urge. This means I have an overwhelming need to have sex. A sex with a man to be clear. I'm still gay mind you but until I'm no longer in heat I'm considering letting Jaune be my baby daddy.

Wolf Ruby: *growl* Hussy!

Jaune will be my baby daddy!

Pyrrha: *smack Ruby* 🗞️

Ruby, control your urges.

Ruby: *whine*

Jaune: I'm flattered that you choose me for your mating partner. But is Yang okay with this?

Jaune: (Walking through the woods) Huh?

Jaune: (Reads sign) "Wolf Breeding Zone"?

Jaune: (Turns) WHOA!

Ruby: (Leaning against a tree, Rose in teeth) Hey~.

Nora: "Hey Jaune-Jaune?"

Jaune's dog ears perk up, and he looks up from the sword fencing book he was studying to look at Nora.

Dog Faunus Jaune: "What's up Nora?"

Nora: "So, I know you tend to get scared during major thunderstorms, but do you get upset when someone uses a vacuum? and I'm only asking out of genuine concern, I swear!"

Jaune snickers at Nora's nervous look, before giving her a reassuring smile.

F! Jaune: "I knew what you meant Nora, and I'm not offended."

At this, Jaune tilts his head to the left as he thinks her question over.

F!: Jaune: "Mmmh the vacuum huh? I don't have to much of an issue with it to be honest. Most Canine Faunus don't really either, at best we get annoyed at the constant humming but other than that we tune it out."

Nora: "Great! Because I'm getting ready to run one real quick since it's been a couple weeks and I just wanted to make sure you're okay with it!"

Jaune waved her off with a go ahead as he went back to his book. Nora quickly set the Vacuum up and as she stepped on the pedal it roared to life. It was at this moment that the door to their dorm room was blown off it's hinges as one Ruby Rose bursts in holding Crescent Rose in her hands with a death grip. He wolf ears were twitching, her silver eyes filled with fear and panic as she started shouting.

Wolf Faunus Ruby: "WHO HAS ACTIVATED THE DEVILS INSTRUMENT?! THE HUMMING! THE MADDENING HUMMING! THEY FILL THE AIR WITH THEIR INUMANE SHRIEKING! MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!"

At her mad ramblings, Ruby began to wildly fire into the room as she tried to snuff out vacuum from the safety of the doorway. She nearly caught Nora with a stray round before Jaune had dive tackled her to the floor and they both crawled behind the kitchen counter. Nora peaked out over the counter in terror, before looking at Jaune with questioning look. Jaune met her look with an indifferent look and a shrug.

F! Jaune: ""I did says that 'most' Canine get annoyed at 'best."

F! Ruby: "DIE MONSTER, FOR YOU DON'T BELONG IN THIS WORLD!"
