Catch phrases. This sounds silly and it honestly is, but sometimes you have to give your brain time to buffer. You don't want to leave the other person hanging but you can't get out anything good right now. You need catchphrases! These a quick short messages that fit into most scenes. For a dom role this could be "What a good pet, do you want something? Hmm? Tell me what you want, darling, and maybe I'll give it to you." Bamm. You now have three full sentences out there you didn't have to think about and your brain can now buffer the response you initially wanted!

Be a bit pathetic about it. This doesn’t work quite as well with a mean dom role but it honestly might do. Most people don't mind babbling as much as we think they do I have found.
