headcanon that percy is historically hard to beat at monopoly. and it's intially the most mind-boggling thing ever watching him turn the tide of a game. because he's definitely losing at the beginning. but percy is not only an amazing strategist. he has a deep understanding of money and knows how and when to bet on the board. he knows when to test his luck. and he's amazing at getting into people's head.

i know many of you think percy is the gossip guy, but in the books he usually doesn’t really care about what’s going on in other people’s lives that much. he cares about his friends obviously, but he doesn’t ever give off the vibes of being someone who would enjoy gossip and drama at all. i feel like he’s the “i didn’t ask” guy. like tell me this isn’t how it would go

annabeth: oh good you’re home! how were the guys?

percy: good. i tried to teach frank to skateboard. it… it didn’t go very well. that guy is strong as fuck but he has terrible balance!

annabeth: i could have told you that. is anything new with any of them?

percy: i don’t know. not really? although when we were watching the game, chris mentioned him and clarisse broke up. it was right before halftime when-

elrond as a dad is a concept people don't use enough frankly. just. elrohir and elladan and arwen following their ada around like ducklings. as they grow they keep doing it and it's not uncommon to see three adult elves just shadowing their father whenever they're not off causing chaos.

then arwen leaves and aragorn all but drops on elrond's lap and he picks up on it and now its elrohir, elladan and estel making a line after him. estel gets left behind easily so elrond is in the habit of checking that he's got all his kids following him.

after, in valinor, elrond will sometimes falter, not hearing the familiar steps following his own. even after elrohir and elladan sail, he'll turn every so often and freeze, panicking for a moment because where are arwen and estel? when did he leave them behind? and as soon as that moment is over he's just feeling the loss of them all over again. the twins never say anything, never protest or even seem to notice the sudden stops. they just leave him time to compose himself until he's ready to keep walking.

think it'd be really cool if percy could teleport using water. just needing to be in direct contact with a water source to transfer from one puddle to the next. cornering monsters in damp alleyways like it's no one's business. foregoing the subway when the forecast calls for showers. crossing the ocean quicker that you can say pacific. quality content.

A forma que a outra semideusa admitiu seu estado de forma tão sincera pegou Estelle de surpresa, voltando o olhar para Agnes para demonstrar que ouvia com atenção no momento; deixou que a outra tivesse seu momento de reflexão enquanto fazia o mesmo em silêncio, cogitando as palavras antes de abrir a boca novamente "De fato, também acredito que estamos longe de um tipo de paz que dure por muito tempo..." era uma prova daquilo, toda sua vida fora sendo jogada de um lado para o outro para que tentasse sobreviver mais um dia em situações absurdas sem que tivesse chance de descansar por muito tempo "não acho que seja patético, a maioria das pessoas aqui tem apenas a esperança de que um dia isso tudo vá acabar, até mesmo na situação atual." abre um sorriso sereno e aceita a jaqueta um tanto sem jeito já que raramente aceitava esse tipo de ajuda, se enrolando no tecido a procura do calor "e talvez nunca acabe, mas acredito a adaptação e a esperança humana é o que faz as coisas fluírem no nosso mundo, é isso que nos faz...mortais" da de ombros ao terminar de compartilhar os pensamentos, o olhar se voltando a água "E se precisar, posso fazer uma poção para te ajudar a dormir, sou a prova viva de como a falta de descanso afeta alguém." solta em um tom divertido, a mostrando a cicatriz que ganhou na última missão por estar esgotada na época.
