Alfea Overview v2
i drew out a layout for Alfea i will use for specifications of my overview. did i make alfea a smidge taller? Yes but oh well, anyway lets begin.
The Alfea College for Fairies is a girls' boarding school in Magix for Fairies and the oldest (established 9000 years before the start of the story) and most prestigious educational institution for fairies.
The education in Alfea lasts 3 years, one for each Fairy Form in the journey of an aspiring full-fledged fairy. Base form, Charmix, Enchantix.
The Alfea students are mostly in training ages 16-18 (unless they have been held back a grade like Stella, so in her case, 17). Fairies here learn how to control their power, fight evil, learn new spells as well as learn how to be their realms' queens and guardian fairies. In this way, Alfea is a little like a military boarding school for the elites.
In the Past
The Alfea Champions were an ancient trio of legendary fairies who were believed to be the most powerful fairies in all of Alfea History. Their feats have been known to be passed down through generations, immortalised in statues that stand in the Alfea Museum, and had been recorded in Legendarium. Ress of the Flame, Chevonne of the Water and Farcelia of the Wind. They were real fairies, but it has been so long that their legends outlived their actual story of their lives.
When Mavilla was headmistress of Alfea, owning and exhibiting the strengths of one's Fairy Animal was considered a vital part of a fairy education. Everything taught was a reflection of the contents of the Tome of Nature. Eventually, Mavilla changed this.
Alfea used to have a crest which was a curved golden "A" on a purple and blue flower with a golden outline at the top of the school gates, just above Alfea's gate. The "A" of the crest is also seen on what used to be the school's uniform, consisting of a burgundy long-sleeved and knee-length dress and mary janes. The neck part of the dress has white lace and a dark burgundy loop.
At another point in time, Eldora was the keeper of the Alfea Greenhouse and taught floral magic.
School years
First Year
Freshmen fairies learn how to master their own source of power, as well as their base fairy form, and learn basic spells they can use in their daily life and in battle if necessary. Metamorphosymbiosis, Potionology and Survival Training are part of the first year curriculum. Fairies also learn how to explore diverse environments in the Simulation Room as part of their survival training.
Second Year
Second Year fairies have the goal of earning Charmix. Their classes include, magic invocation, magic self-defence, applied convergence and cognitive analysis class, where fairies learn technical incantations, and spells requiring accurate pronunciation.
Third Year
Third Year Classes include, History of Magic, and those who achieve Enchantix will participate in Battle training to hone their skills. The fairies also have a final thesis, also earning Enchantix is more like an extra credit thing.
Graduation
After earning Enchantix, the basic fairy education is completed and they will graduate with Honours and receive the titles of Guardian Fairies of their respective homeworlds on the Day of the Gift. Without Enchantix, the girls still graduate, but they don't become guardian fairies. In this case, they return to their home world and can decide if they want to work towards being a guardian fairy by being an apprentice to one until they earn their Enchantix, or they can do something else. Alumni can also decide to extend their studies and do their masters here at Alfea in any Subject already offered, being mentored by any of the current staff
Winx After Graduation
They taught for a short period of time, before choosing to take their masters here in various subjects in addition to being substitute teachers from time to time.
Architecture and Layout
Outside
The Alfea Natural Park, which is a refuge for Fairy Animals, is found in the forest. It is unknown if parts of the forest close to the school belong to the school or not, but they are also used for classes and tests.
There is a bus stop where students, guests, and staff members can take buses from and to Magix City and to other places in Magix.
Protective barriers meant to keep non-magical creatures, non-fairies, and bad weather out are seen many times in the series.
The School Gates are the only access to the school compound. They consist of a large pink archway with two wing-like doors that move to open or close the gates.
Its campus is a large castle with pink walls and blue roofs built around a courtyard.
Ground / First Floor
Most of the Classrooms are found on the ground floor around the central courtyard. The side buildings have corridors through which the classrooms can be accessed and it has stairways from which the upper parts of the school can be accessed.
Namely: On the East Wing, Applied Convergence Classroom, Technical Incantations Classroom, Magic Invocation Classroom, Magic Defence Classroom, and on the West Wing, Potionology Classroom, Metamorphosymbiosis Classroom, and the Survival Training Classroom. Each classroom also acts as storage for whatever items the subject requires.
The School Kitchen, where Chef Sfoglia works, Students may also be assigned to do the cooking as chores or as punishment. Located in the West Wing
In the North Wing, The Entrance Hall is a large room found opposite the School Gates, and it is accessed by a set of grand stairs.
The Cafeteria / School Hall is a large room found on the ground floor. It has a large dome of glass as its outer wall and there are long tables where the students have their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has a special tier for staff members. Parties and balls are often held there and during such occasions, the tables are removed to make a place for the festivities. It is found below the Headmistress' Office and behind the Entrance Hall, in the North Wing.
The West Wing also contains The School Infirmary where students are treated in case of health problems and injuries. It is composed of an office and a resting room with many beds. It is managed by Nurse Ofelia and her assistant.
The West Tower is where the Magic Archive of Alfea is found. Precious and rare books and scrolls about many things can be found there and the school's Codex used to be kept there. A Pixie, named Concorda, is the keeper of the Secret Archives.
The first floor of the east tower contains the Applied convergence Classroom which also acts as the School Amphitheater for formal gatherings required by the Headmistress or otherwise. the students sometimes attend the school assembly and it is also where general meetings are often held, especially in crisis times. There is a table with chairs around it where staff members sit. Exams may also be held there.
The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the centre of the school. It contains:
Benches where students can sit and spend their free time. The Well, with underground tunnels that connects Alfea to the other magical schools, and contains various rooms and obstacles to go through in order to obtain the Star of Teamwork. It functions as a gathering area for celebrations such as the beginning of the year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for Red Fountain ships.
Around the sides are the Gardens of Alfea. A place where students can relax and study and even practice their abilities with the accompaniment of nature.
And around the back is an open space mainly used for classes with a practical component.
Second Floor
The student Dormitories (enchanted to be bigger on the inside). Located in both the East and West Wings.
The North wing’s first floor’s ceiling is very high, taking up 2 floors, and therefore technically there is nothing here.
The Simulation Room is where virtual simulations take place. It can also be used to teleport people to other locations. Professor Palladium is the one who is in charge of the Simulation Chamber.
There is technically nothing here in the West Wing because the Archive Room Ceiling is the tallest in the entire school, taking up 4 floors. (Tho it can still be accessed from here as well but the platform is small so people usually dont.)
Third Floor
The student Dormitories (enchanted to be bigger on the inside). Located in both the East and West Wings.
The History of Magic Classroom in the East Wing Tower
And in the North Wing, the staff and Faragonda’s offices. Outside of which there is a small seating area.
There is technically nothing here in the West Wing because the Archive Room Ceiling is the tallest in the entire school, taking up 4 floors. (Tho it can still be accessed from here as well but the platform is small so people usually dont.)
Fourth Floor
The student Dormitories (enchanted to be bigger on the inside). Located in both the East and West Wings.
The Dance Studio/Gym in the East Wing Tower.
In the North wing, Faragonda and the Staff Quarters. Only accessible via the offices.
There is technically nothing here in the West Wing because the Archive Room Ceiling is the tallest in the entire school, taking up 4 floors. (Tho it can still be accessed from here as well but the platform is small so people usually dont.)
Fifth Floor
Only contains the Viewing Decks atop the two Towers of Alfea. Only accessible by Flight or Teleportation.
Basement
The basement of Alfea is sprawling. It contains what will become Musa’s Music Cafe, the Alfea Museum, the Hall of Memories (formerly: Fairy Animals), the magical Entrance to the Alfea Greenhouse, the Library (containing the Research Lectern with Miss Barbetea as its Librarian) with its Restricted Section, and finally the Hall of Enchantments (It contains the hall of infamy, where the portraits of all the enemies of the Magic Dimension can be found, the entire history of the magical universe and contains the Heart of Alfea), only accessible through the Headmistress’s Office.
The rest of the images here include a Key, a Compass and a small sketch i did to plan out how many floors Alfea actually has.
Finally staff:
Headmistress Faragonda (Applied Convergence)
Miss Grizelda (Magic Defence/Applied Convergence)
Professor Palladium (Potionology/Survival Training)
Professor WizzGizz (Metamorphosymbiosis/Technical Incantations)
Professor Avalon (s3 new) (Magic Invocation)
Professor Daphne (s6 new) (History of Magic)
Chef Sfoglia, In the Kitchen
Nurse Ofelia and her assistant. In the Infirmary
Pixie Concorda, the keeper of the Secret Archive
Miss Barbetea the Librarian
Knut the Janitor (s2 new)
Dorm Assignments
The students use all three levels of the student dorms. And where they go rotate every three years. So if you joined the school and are assigned to the second floor dorms, you stay there until u graduate then the freshmen after you will take over it.
Once again all dorms are enchanted to be bigger than they seem.
For the Staff, (All dorms are enchanted to be bigger than they seem from the outside)
Faragonda and Grizelda (daphne in future) Share a dorm, the North Wing, central Dorm.
Palladium, Wizzgizz, Avalon share a dorm, the North Wing, East (left) Dorm
When the winx become teachers, they will insist on sharing a dorm, the North Wing, West (right) dorm.
The non teaching staff usually have a built in dorm at wherever they are working, so Miss Barbetea has a room in the library, and Nurse Ofelia and her assistant share a room in the infirmary and so on. Their rooms are also enchanted so they are bigger on the inside.

Alfea Dormitory
Decided to post the mood boards I made of the girls' rooms way back when. It pretty much hasn't changed at all for me since then.
Bloom's Room
Bloom's room is basically controlled chaos. Even when nothing ever seems to be in place, she still knows exactly where everything is. She's an avid reader, so she basically brought as many books as she could with her, but she's also looking forward to adding to her collection in Magix. She has pictures everywhere that remind her of her family and earth. It helps her deal with the homesickness.
Stella's Room
Stella's room is very, extra. She only expects the best, so every blanket, pillow, mirror, rug, etc. you see is basically worth more than what most people can afford. She prioritizes making her room as comfortable and cute as possible. Bloom is always worried about even touching anything when she sleeps in her room, but Stella always reassures her that she has people who can take care of any messes.
Flora's Room
Flora's room makes you feel like you're in a garden. It's very cozy and relaxing. The most notable thing is the pleasant aroma that naturally fills the air. Flora didn't realize how big her collection has gotten, but she couldn't give away any of her plants. They are all her close confidants.
Musa's Room
Musa's room acts as her sanctuary. She's made it a space where she can come back to relax after a long day. She often spends time writing music in her little mini studio. She in her element the most when she can just tune out the world.
Tecna's Room
Tecna doesn't see the need nor does she like any excess clutter. She enjoys having open free space, so she doesn't need to spend any extra time cleaning than necessary. She's quite proud of the setup she managed to create. It allows her to stream and work on her algorithms as seamlessly as possible.
Aisha's Room
Aisha's heart will always be with the sea, so she's brought a bit of it with her. There's various knickknacks from Andros that can be found scattered around her room. She also set up a wall to place all of her extra workout gear. There's a cleared space that allows her to stretch in the morning.
Bonus
How tidy is everyone? (From Messy to Neat)

Flora
Aisha
Musa
Tecna
Neat
What type of bird is everyone? (From Night Owl to Early Bird)

Magic Colleges in Magix City
The three best colleges for anyone who wants to practice more than basic magic are located close to Magix City – Alfea, Cloud Tower and Red Fountain. All of them can only be visited once the basic education has been finished, which is when the students are around 17/18 years old.
They take five years each, whereas the students have on-campus dorm rooms during the first three. For the two latter years the students are given shared apartments in Magix City, as these years are dedicated for independent studies.
The students either have to pay for their education or get a scholarship. In every school a maximum of 100 students are accepted per year, making sure there are never more than 500 students at once.
Alfea for Fairies
For the first year every student needs to attend classes for
History of Magix Magi-philosophy (Morality of Magic) Formation and Language of Spells Transformation Basic Charms Basic Defense and Offense Basic Healing Basic Potions
Second year classes are
History of Magix Convergence Charms Defense and Offense Healing Potions
Classes of the third year are
History of Magix Advanced Charms Advanced Defense and Offense Advanced Healing Advanced Potions
Alfea also offers a variety of electives which can be chosen from the second year onward: for example, Advanced Magical Theory, Blessings, Magic Healing, Nature Magic, Botany and Herbology.
Fairies are expected to have gained Charmix by their third year.
In their fourth and fifth year they can continue studying on their own, with a mentor, or participate in classes focussed on becoming king or queen of their realm.
Any Fairy who reaches Enchantix during their education, graduates with an honours degree.
Cloud Tower for Witch/ers
For the first year every student needs to attend the classes for
History of Magix Magi-philosophy (Morality of Magic) Meditation Basic Witchcraft Basic Hexes Basic Potions Basic Curses Demonology
Second year classes are
History of Magix Witchcraft Hexes Potions Curses a separate class for every Coven
Classes of the third year are
History of Magix Rituals Advanced Witchcraft Advanced Hexes Advanced Potions Advanced Curses
Electives can be chosen from the second year onward - they include Mentalist Magic, Infused Magic, Divination, Astronomy and Astrology.
Witch/ers are expected to have their Relic by their third year.
In their fourth and fifth year they can continue studying on their own, with a mentor, or participate in classes focussed on becoming king or queen of their realm.
Any Witch/er who reaches Enchantress/er during their education, graduates with an honours degree.
Red Fountain for Paladins and Wizards
Usually, every year has 80 Specialists and 20 Wizards. The groups only have combined classes in
History of Magix Magi-philosophy Basic Magical and Physical Combat Protection against Mental Magic
During their first year Specialists have
Basic Weaponry Strategy Combat Medicine Piloting
Whereas Wizards have classes for
Basic Runes Basic Spell-craft and Enchantment Magical Medicine Magical Artifacts
Everyone can attend classes for driving a Wind Rider, but these are only last during the first month of each academic year.
By the end of the first year, the Specialists get to choose what they want to focus on –
becoming a Leader - green jewel a Pilot and Mechanic - yellow jewel a Strategist and Negotiator - blue jewel an Armorer and Combatant - purple jewel
Leaders still have to attend every class, whereas the others have a much more specific education.
Second year combined classes are
History of Magix Magical and Physical Combat
In their second year twenty groups of four Specialists each, are put together. They are expected to work together and go on missions. Every Specialist also has to attend Dragon Riding class.
The Wizard’s second year classes include
Runes Alchemy Spell-craft and Enchantment
In their third year each group of Specialists is joined by a Wizard.
Shared classes are still in
History of Magix Advanced Magical and Physical Combat
Specialist specific classes are dependent on their path, but also include Dragon Training. Whereas Wizards have
Advanced Runes Advanced Alchemy Curse Breaking
Electives can be chosen from the second year onward: Magic Tech, Archery, Sword Technique, Long-Distance Combat, as well as Mystical Creatures.
Wizards are expected to have their Sceptre by the end of their third year.
During their last two years their education focusses either on working as a Paladin/Wizard, royal guard or becoming king or queen of their realm.
Doesn’t matter what they choose, Specialists have to work on their own nanotech-armor, which is stored inside the amulet they make of their own magic at the end of their third year. That’s also where their weapons are kept when they don’t need them.
From the fourth year onward, additional electives can be chosen from: Technological Architecture, Software Construction, Engineering, Coding. For those who already know, they want to do something different after the education.
Any Specialists who is able to tame a Dragon in Pyros and bond with the creature spiritually, as well as mentally, graduates with an honours degree and gets the title of Paladin.
Any Wizard who has their Staff by the end of their fifth year, graduates with an honours degree.
All Electives are for the students of either one of the three colleges. If one chooses one from another school, they would have to go there.
Royals from every college can attend classes specifically for them – Etiquette, Economics, Sociology, Diplomacy, Politics and Laws. Those are thought by advisors in Magix City.
Other Magix City courses include Languages for students, who want to learn other languages of Magix and any Sports or Dance courses.

I actually feel like... kinda excited for this now? If they don't fuck this like entirely we could see a real resurgence in interest for the show which would be awesome.

I love when magic has an effect on the body & soul of its caster. like!! you don’t get to be a reality-bending demi-god and walk away with no strings attached. there’s always a price.
Bloom’s dragon fire consumes her from the inside, leaving lightning-like tissues of scars along her limbs - be careful, rumbles the Great Dragon from within, don’t let your emotions consume you. Bloom wails from the pain and clutches whoever is in the vicinity - but cannot fully stop it. just prevent it or treat the aftermath.
Musa gets migraines. Stella becomes ill when she doesn’t get her daily dose of sunshine. Aisha’s senses get muddy sometimes, almost as if she’s submerged underwater. Nabu experiences uncontrollable tremors in his arms, when he creates too many of his phantoms. all of those are - yes, horrible to experience but manageable enough for the school (and the Magic community at large) to tell them to just suck it up and weather through.
once you get your enchantix though, you start developing… unique abilities. almost like, in achieving the final fairy form, you became one with your brand of magic.
Bloom starts producing smoke. Like - she snorts at something funny Riven or Sky say, and literal puffs of smoke emerge from her nose. It’s jarring at first (“Bloom Peters, when did you start smoking? do you know that it kills??”) but quickly becomes endearing once they realise it’s not life-threatening in any way (after speed-running through like fifteen Magix apothecaries). Among her other ‘oddities’: too hot to cuddle with (only Stella can stand the high temperature, since she has a resistance to heat), becomes strangely overprotective and a little possessive, her eyes sometimes become a startling orange hue as if she’s embodied by the great dragon himself (it’s just a party trick).
Stella becomes more ethereal. In certain lights, her skin looks translucent - like a mirage weaved with moonlight. Her hair glints in the sun, almost too bright to like at; her touch feels phantom-like. She becomes even more beautiful, but less - human, earth-bound, Stella-esque. A curse and a blessing, that one.
Musa’s hearing gets really fucking good. She has a steadily growing dossier of blackmail on every student in Alfea - simply because shut doors or longer distances are no longer obstacles for her. It’s annoying too, because she can’t exactly turn it off - and now she gets to hear all the things people say about her, behind her. but here’s a consolation - she can influence other creature’s emotions through the melodies she hums! like how in canon, she pacified the bird Roc and brought mirth to the arguing fairies.
Flora gets much sturdier. Her skin harder than bark; her body able to withstand thirst and hunger for much longer than the rest. It’s honestly so intimidating. Here’s this sweet young woman — known to cry for trampled flowers and cut weeds!! — absolutely bodying a sharp ass ice shard that Icy attacked her with. It just — crumbles upon colliding with Flora’s body. insane and frankly so so hot for others to see.
As per the negatives… I like the idea of Flora being able to connect to the memories of nature around her and literally absorb the pain/fear/anguish of whatever she witnessed.
Aisha and Bloom are similar, in a sense that both of them are vessels to primordial divinities of their universe — Bloom is the holder of the Dragon Flame, and Aisha is the child of the Infinite Ocean. therefore, both experience a more extreme transformation than their girl friends. like, Aisha’s dreams are infiltrated by visions of past and future; memories of those who were lost to the Ocean. she dreams of Politea, of Tritanus, of her mer cousins and ancestors, and even those who were not yet born. if Aisha was not so mentally wilful, she might’ve folded under the weight of those prophesies.
Aisha can also breathe under water and her body gets the musculature it needs to be on par with her mer cousins while swimming, because why the fuck not?
Tecna - I frankly have no ideas for and would love to hear suggestions!

Pretty pretty please tell me you have pictures of the other Winx’s dorm bedroom like you did flora and I love your art by the way it’s so cute and detailed
Hi @spectrum-007 ! I’m glad you liked it, I have the doodled out plans for the other girls rooms but if I’m honest backgrounds and environment design is something I really don’t think is my forte. The flora room sketch was me forcing myself to practice lol. I’ll share the rest of them but I might redesign the dorm rooms a bit more (I really tried to base the floor plans on the original canon but I think I might change it for my own version)
Clean version of flora’s without her in front of it:
And the ‘base’ dorm I saved without flora’s stuff in it. One of the changes I made is I decided I wanted to make the Alfea dorms have standard furniture provided, like most dorms irl. This is a fun contrast from Cloud Tower, where rooms aren’t assigned and it’s a lot more freeform.
Here’s Bloom’s half of her and Flora’s room. I imagine they keep these suites the whole 3-4 years at Alfea so they get pretty lived in, but I did my best to keep Blooms side feel more……earth-y
i know getting rid of Musa’s piano bed is a sin but honestly who brings their own bedframe to a dorm situation. I really like her little mixing station at the desk there and idk how legible these doodles are to anyone else but there’s some little easter eggs and story things hidden around
Tec’s side of the room. I was a little less certain about what I had going on over here but in combination she and Musa have a lot of mood lighting lol
STELLA!!!! I don’t remember if I forgot that her room gets a little loft area or if I Decided to make it the same layout. I love it in here. I didn’t get to Aisha’s but I actually intend to have her move in here with Stella - I always thought that was a missed opportunity! They have princess stresses in common but are so different in almost every other way, and Stella particularly is the one who accidentally rubs up against Aisha wrong when she’s new and insecure in the group - having them share a space would be so sweet…
((As you can see, Stella is the only one who brought her own bed frame. Because she Is That Extra))
I’m probably gonna redo these and custom floorpan their suite so I can understand the internal consistency.

How the Alfea College students (+ Red Fountain, Cloudtower) Give Hugs
Fandom(s): Winx Club
Character(s): Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, Sky, Brandon, Riven, Timmy, Helia, Icy, Darcy, Stormy
Pairing(s): Alfea College students X Reader, Red Fountain students X Reader, Cloudtower students X Reader
Genre(s): Fluff
Writing Style: Drabbles
Summary: A drabble of how some of the people in the magic realm give hugs to you.
Warning(s): None
Requested by: None
Note: Hello again to you all! I have come up with new ideas and imagines for the characters! I am trying to do some drabbles now, this is my first drabble, actually! I hope I will do well with my writing, as well as the headcanons and imagines for each character. I must say, writing the Trix's parts were quite the challenge... Anyway, enjoy the read, dear readers!
Bloom
Whenever it comes to giving out hugs, Bloom will do it either gently or tightly. It depends on your preferences, but I can definitely see her hugging you in the most gentle way possible. She likes to wrap her arms around you to assure you that as the last princess of Domino, she will do anything to protect you from the world's harm. Her fingers will trace patterns on your back, her touch comforting and affectionate. The more time passes by, the closer she will hug you until you're entirely pressed against her. Bloom will hold you as her everything.
Stella
Stella's hugs are full of excitement and affection. She would love to run towards you with a huge grin on her face, jump into your arms and fall to the ground with laughter coming out of her lips. Her upbeat aura radiates as soon as you make physical contact, her touch warm as the bright sun. Stella would squeeze you tight, nuzzle your neck, and send shivers down your spine as her fingertips ghostly trace on your back. But if you really need the hug, Stella can be less enthusiastic, yet her loving arms still brings you reassurance and hope.
Flora
When Flora gives you hugs, they make you feel calm and satisfied. Her aura is gentle and sweet, so whenever you need her the most, Flora's embrace will remind you that everything will be okay. She would love play with your hair, twirling a lock with her fingers. And somehow, this simple gesture feels like your refuge. The longer you hug her, the calmer your body will become. Her affection is just like the effects of lavender—its scent subsiding every bit of anxiety within you. She wouldn't mind hugging you longer, because she wants you to always be happy.
Musa
With Musa, her hugs can vary like her taste in music. Some of them are upbeat if she's happy. Some are reassuring if she knows you need her. Some are melancholic if either of you are sad. Although she doesn't engage in physical contact for most of the time, that wouldn't mean she won't give hugs. Musa will hold you close in her arms as you slow dance in a private room, humming with the tune as she caresses you. It's her little way of showing affection. Just tell her what you want or need, Musa will do just that.
Tecna
Tecna is awkward with hugs. She's all about logic and numbers, so they aren't really her specialty. Even so, that doesn't mean she isn't willing to try physical contact. Her hugs in general are brief and your bodies wouldn't press against each other's. Yet she makes up for it by giving you side hugs, as she is more comfortable with it. However, when the time comes where you need her by your side, Tecna will give you a long hug. She doesn't say anything logical during these moments. She just holds you, her actions telling you that everything is okay.
Sky
It may or may not be surprising, but Sky isn't very good with these kind of problems. He isn't particularly close with his parents and he was trained not to show weakness of any sorts. However, as your lover, he will try to engage physical contact. Beginning from handholding in public to snuggling in bed, Sky is determined to try it all. Whenever you are down, the prince will attempt to offer a hug. His hugs are gentle yet firm, protecting you from the world in his arms. He sincerely vows to always be there when you need him most.
Brandon
Because of that headcanon that Brandon belongs in a large family, he is one of the people who gives out the best hugs. He firmly holds you in his arms, his face buried into your hair as his nostrils takes its scent. He can be enthusiastic or serene in hugging, depending in the situation. But if you need him, Brandon's hugs are just perfect. His hugs make you feel secured and loved, his gentle hands tenderly reassuring you that he's always there. He is a brother and a knight—a perfect combination. Nobody beats the embrace of a big brother.
Riven
It might not look like it, but Riven's hugs are one of the best. He isn't the type to initiate physical contact, but whenever he gives out hugs, they're always so warm. Riven doesn't say anything nor does something with his hands. He simply holds him like that, no words said. Riven is awkward at first—as said in my headcanons if the Specialists were your boyfriend—but he becomes comfortable eventually. Perhaps his hugs are great because he gives body heat or maybe his silence puts you at ease. In the end, he's highly thankful that you trusted him.
Timmy
Out of everybody in this list, Timmy is the most awkward whenever it comes to hugs and affection. His hugs are just like Tecna's but doubled. He couldn't completely wrap his arms around your frame. Even with side hugs, his face turns beet red and his arm only hovers on your shoulders, never touching at all. But as soon as he turns comfortable, Timmy's hugs are gentle and brief. Despite the embrace not being long, Timmy's hands know how to calm you, similar to how they know how to fix items. Hugs aren't his specialty in comforting, but he tries.
Helia
Helia is the opposite of Timmy. He is the most affectionate person out of everyone, always open to them despite the situation. This guy prefers to be bound to his lover, thus agreeable with any sorts of hugs you offer him. When Helia gives out an embrace, they are similar to Flora's ambience. The only difference is how they are described as. Helia's hugs are like the calm seas and the flowing winds, making you feel at ease. Whenever you're down, Helia will either hug you in silence or whisper sweet nothings into your ear. This man is your refuge.
Icy
Expectedly, Icy's hugs are monopolizing like her cold personality. She holds you possessively like a predator keeping its prey. Her hugs in general will make you feel you belong to her and only her, yet there are occasions where Icy will be tender and loving. Her hands will hold unto your body to secure you, eyes scanning elsewhere to see if someone dared to take you away from her. But when her guard is down, Icy is calm and her fingers run through your hair, small giggles escaping her lips every now and then. Be sure to savor these moments.
Darcy
A variety of hugs is what you'll receive from Darcy. They can either be gentle, possessive, easeful, affectionate, you name it. Despite wanting to bound her lover, Darcy wouldn't mind the hugs they offer (though she mildly dislikes clingy ones). Out of the Trix, Darcy is welcoming whenever it came to initiating physical contact. Her hugs will depend on her mood and situation. But in general, they can be brief yet tender. Whenever the gloomy days come, Darcy will envelop you in her arms as she whispers sweet nothings to your ear. She truly adores you in her own way.
Stormy
Amidst the heavy and violent storms, Stormy's hugs are like its eye. She isn't really into physical contact to the extent that only handholding was allowed. However, the more you date, the more Stormy shows her true colors. She may be quite disastrous, yes. But if you are patient enough, you will experience was piece of heaven in your life. Her hugs are reassuring and warm, arms clasping around you firmly to secure you from everything else. She will attack whoever comes near both of you. But whenever privacy is achieved, her hugs are tranquil like a gentle rain shower.
