#the angst potential is so juicy #I understand why it might not be everyone's cup of tea but I like the idea of them being so 'toxic' for each other (after the portal #incident. if they met before I think they'd be pretty healthy and wholesome)#like. Well lads my iPad fucking broked. gonna be a few days before I can get it sent off to be repaired and I’m unsure how long those repairs will take. The result? I’m not gonna be able to participate in sketchbook week as much as I’d planned :( oh and I’m out a fortune in repair costs but that’s less important.

*crashes through wall* So I recently rewatched the NATM series for the first time since I was nine

THESE TWO TOOK OVER MY MIND LIKE POSSESSION XSXNANOJCABDJO RED AND BLUE ENEMIES TO LOVERS YES PLS

I made the first doodle last week I think (mostly just me trying to draw them in my style, and not knowing how to draw a galea), and then I proceeded to draw a whole page of just Jedtavius today. I might line and colour some of them if I feel up for it. The last doodle is in reference to his win on @ cowboy-competition , he deserves the win I love him. (also the other cowboy in a few of those doodles are me/a self insert. gotta embrace my inner cowboy 😌 )

#Doodles #Here it is! Finally transitioning into 2024 doodles! Heck!!#A small handful to bid the year goodbye #Starting with trying to doodled something and it not going to plan so nevermind lol #Sucks too 'cause it was one of those shower thoughts that I got Really excited about and then every step ended up getting frustrated #Wanted to make a cover of a song and then the song had no instrumental-only version :/#Okay well the concept was meant to be a fem cover of non-human characters - I'll draw up what I think they'd look like! No #Designs were underwhelming and looked weird :// So I gave up lol #Maybe another day! But not this day not when I keep being stopped lol #Only Christmas! Yes I wore the ribbons it's an important tradition and also I like cute in them #Ma got me some fine-tip markers so I had to test them haha - they scan a bit dark so I don't think I'd use them for scanned doodles #That purple is pretty tho I do like it #Was really excited about the gold but nahh oh well I still appreciate them haha #Oh and the tests were on my latest Blank Slate scratch page haha #I've set it down again for the moment but Ch. 4 is probably about 70% done! :)#Had a lot of fun moving pieces around hehe ♪ To no one's surprise Scriabin has painted himself into a corner #Might have a mini project/side project planned around Blank Slate at some point hmmm #Other than the fic itself haha #And finally seeing out the year - it's been over for a while now!#Always feels funny to approach it's end and ring in the new

k so been a while since i shared some art on here yeah yeah?

right so, here are some (very out of order) sketch pages I managed to filled up back in May that I actually still really like enough to post publicly

its mostly just referenced drawings and redraws of clown’s work, but with a close eye you can spot a couple were referenced from some of @forgrtashes-blog’s fanart

As above so below! this lovely redraw was referenced from one of @dxkjf ‘s lovely sketches of Frank and Eddie cuddling <3

I remember I had fun with this one in a sort of frustrating way, it was certainly a reminder for me to make more of an effort to draw more complicated character interactions going forwards like hugs! (an embarrassing amount of brain power was dedicated to figuring out the limb placements…)

also feat. the most recent sketches of frank i’ve done so far! (well i think so anyways)

and somehow idk how but somehow i ended really like a lot of the art I made while trying to study frank’s design more in depth! there are some actual pages where i was studying and making notes of wally’s design as well but, i like the look of those pages a lot less than these ones, so yeah no only I gets to see those haha

by the time i was “done” with my informal art study of frank, school stuff was starting to pile up more and more and i had basically no trying for drawing anymore

but!!! these 3 franks are basically (+1 other) are the most recent sketches and while not a lot, i think it kinda show through how much better i got at drawing frank <3

overall in terms of progressing my art journey this was all so very fun and informative, hopefully things in my life will align to let me have the free time to do more of this again soon!!
