veilguard makes me so sad it's not even funny. i'm magpie-ing the things i want from it but holy shit. like i already knew bioware had lost me after andromeda but some part of me hoped that something would change my mind. instead every part i'd loved about this universe was written out but ig the bioware patented racism stays. go spit on somebody else's face bioware

anyways, davrin deserved better than being stuck in this mess. in a better world the boy who used to sing to halla and left his clan to play hero only to see his whole life purpose get swept out from under him would get the care he deserved. the man who presumably got ghilan'nain's vallaslin and dealt the killing blow to her archdemon would have the richness of his internal experience explored by the writers and the fandom.
