I want to see a horrible uncanny valley surreal horror/sitcom show using the Wikihow art style.
Like, it’s pretty much a typical animated sitcom, but the characters are all uncanny valley, and there has to be lots of cats, dogs, and other animals. But occasionally you’ll just see some uncanny valley eldritch horror person in the background, or maybe one of the main characters does something particularly horrifying.
But then the show just keeps going on like normal and it never actually leads up to anything.
However, through hints in the background of the show, an ARG can be discovered that actually reveals some sort of Alternate History/lore.

Oh God this one might not be niche but it sure as hell haunts me!!
Context, born and raised in Canada, southern Ontario specifically, still live here lol.
When I was little, growing up in a public school, every year they would host an assembly in the gym. They'd make us all sit on the floor and then these people would come in and play these really mechanically animated videos about bus safety, and then this fuckin. Little remote control bus- which was not little for a first grader, it was like the size of most of us- would come FLYING out onto the gym floor? And spin around n shit? And I know for a fact that it could blink, like- it was a machine and probably had a button on its remote control somewhere. But I also swear that little bus could?? Talk??
I just. Wanna know what happened to that. Because they just stopped hosting those when the school got rebuilt.
this is 100% bait for my mutuals to talk to me but what is one piece of obscure (and I mean obscure, smth you doubt majority of your friends and/or peers wouldn't know) media y'all love?
I'll go first: the They Might Be Giants: Here Come the ABCs album dvd; I watched it so much growing up as a young kid lol

I'm ngl I've been. feeling really shit about my art lately.
I promised myself I'd try and do at least one higher effort illustration per month this year so I'm continuing with that for now, it's a goal that's keeping me trying at least, but. damn.
Everything that I do feels and looks so laborious. I can't even draw a regular human figure without it coming out looking like a child who struggled to draw their dad, like. Why is this so difficult? And why is the end result so soulless?? It has as much life as a goddamn wikihow picture
I'm so envious of people who have their personality and artstyle figured out fr, I've been trying for years to find a spark of my own and never landed anywhere. I wanna lay down

Tomb of Annihilation MasterPost
Tumblr media
The first D&D campaign I was part of was also the longest one I've played with my group so far. This post is a compilation of all the Arts and Session Summary Posts related to that campaign. Posts can also been found under the tag #tomb of annihilation but the oldest posts predate my current rigor of tags.
There were a lot of art posts separate to the Session Summaries:
D&D Characters Introduction
More D&D Character Stuff
D&D "Current" Party (current to session 8)
"Professor Hawthorne"
D&D artstyle sketch dump
Character Art Commission/Showcase
What does the monkey mean? (relevant to session 21)
Dead Characters + The Story So Far (sort of a catch-up, to session 30)
The Story, Continued (catch-up part 2, up to session 34)
