Hiiii, Radley! Anon who asked this question here: https://www.tumblr.com/cityofmeliora/785286868641136640/bestie-you-said-finally-twice-lksdfjdksj?source=share
Okay, okay, so I understood what you said in this answer, but I'd like to know what the relationship is between Copia and his mother. Based on the answer you gave in the linked post as well as gifs and posts that I've seen, I'm thinking it's somewhat neutral? It confuses me kind of, lol.
it's hard to say... it's kind of strained and weird for a lot of reasons, and there are a lot of ways to interpret it.
Cardi didn't learn Sister Imperator was his mother until he was 51 years old. we don't currently know why people were hiding this information from him for so long, and we don't know how he ended up learning the truth.
Sister Imperator comic #3 shows Sister gave birth to Cardi in Los Angeles and then brought him to eastern europe to be raised by Nihil's sister, Marika. in Chapter 20, we learn that Marika married Mr. Psaltarian and they raised Cardi together. Sister didn't raise Cardi, and his family lied to him about his parentage his entire life. we don't know how or when Sister ended up meeting Cardi again, but they ended up working together in the Ministry.
obviously, when you suddenly find out your boss / coworker has secretly been your mother all along, that makes things weird.
after Cardi learned Sister and Nihil are his parents, Sister kind of just expects them to all start acting like a family together, despite the fact that Cardi and Nihil were not aware they're related until recently. Sister has seemingly always given Cardi special treatment, as shown by her decision to promote him to leader of the band in Prequelle Era, and the way she talks to him / about him is somewhat affectionate / parental in the early Chapters. even though he was in his 50s at the time, she treated him more like a child after it was revealed she's his mother; buying him a new tricycle and telling him "You'll always be my Little Cardi."
Cardi seems to be closer to Sister than he is with Nihil (his relationship with Nihil is often openly hostile toward each other), but Cardi ironically accepts Nihil as a parent more easily than he accepts Sister as a parent? since Cardi found out Sister and Nihil are his parents, he's been referring to Nihil as his father and calling him "dad", etc. but Cardi has never referred to Sister as his mother or called her "mom" or anything like that, even after he found out.
and it doesn't help that Sister is kind of just incapable of communicating normally with anyone. the comics show she has a history of being weird and cagey and evasive and secretive. she always has some master plan / vision behind everything she does, but she refuses to elaborate or explain to the people that she asks to play along, like Nihil and Cardi. this leads to situations such as Cardi genuinely fearing for his life and believing that his parents were going to murder him. he had reason to believe that could happen because they did kill Papas 1, 2, and 3. of course, Sister never ever had plans to hurt or kill Cardi, but he was afraid because she said things that made him think it could happen, and she just never told him that they weren't going to kill him! throughout RITE HERE RITE NOW, Sister keeps saying a bunch of cryptic stuff to Cardi about accepting the end of his time as Papa that makes him think he's going to be killed and needs to accept his death, only for her to totally fake him out at the end and tell him through a letter that she's actually promoting him to boss of The Clergy. oh, also, she didn't tell him that she was sick and dying. he watched his mother suddenly drop dead right in front of him! because he doesn't understand her decisions, Cardi might find it difficult to trust Sister, but he still listens to her and goes along with what she says anyway...
Sister has genuine love for Cardi, but obviously she's not actually close to him at all due to the fact that she didn't raise him and he only knew her as his boss for decades, not his mother. i think part of why Cardi just lets all this crazy stuff happen around him is because he wishes he was able to have a real relationship with his parents, and that makes him want to forgive them for all the problems...
idk! it's all really weird!

ཐིཋྀ KINKTOBER DAY 9 - virginity loss : izuku midoriya
warnings : virginity loss (izuku), afab reader, mentions of body counts, non-relationship hookup (but deku has a thing for reader), reader calls izuku “izu”, oral sex (izuku receiving), reader has decent sized boobs, cliffhanger kind of
word count : 840
🐙 note : none
Tumblr media
it wasn't really surprising that izuku was a virgin, hell i’m sure anyone could’ve guessed that much. the conversation took a weird turn when discussing izuku’s fated rival; katsuki bakugo. izuku explained that katsuki is a well known bragger who loves to flaunt his body count, he constantly expresses how izuku will never catch up to him and how because the boy has no experience no girl will ever want to sleep with him.
“well… do you wanna have sex with me?”
the question stuns izuku, turning him bright red and causing him to panic, he asks if you’re sure and mumbles about how there’s no way someone like you would ever wanna sleep with someone like him! he continues to go on a ramble about how you’re just so cool and pretty and your quirk is amazing and, and, and–
you stop and put your hands on izuku’s shoulders, he freezes and stares with a blank expression.
“we can have sex izuku, i don’t mind teaching you.”
izuku feels a mix of many emotions; pride, worry, confusion, just to name a few. slowly you drag izuku by the hand into your bed, gently laying him down and getting on top of him.
“don’t worry deku, just relax.”
“o-okay! i’ll do my best!”
you almost laugh at the poor guy, as optimistic as ever. you find yourself somewhat shocked at the way midoriya feels beneath you, despite being on the shorter side he was far from a twig; you could feel his solid abs and thick thigh muscles.
“have you ever had your dick sucked izu?”
“umm… no?”
“do you want me to?”
izuku nods enthusiastically, you get off his lap and lower yourself towards his thighs. carefully you settle between them, looking up at him with eager eyes that causes him to go red all over. you gently remove his basketball shorts and are met with his bare thighs and black boxers, you unexpectedly gawk at him, surprised by his muscle and pretty good size. pulling off his boxers you find that he’s about 5.7 inches, thick and red from embarrassment.
you look up to him for approval and he sends you a thumbs up, you giggle at his dorky behaviors. you lightly grab his length and izuku’s breath catches in his throat. keeping eye contact with him you slowly lick up his side and kiss his pretty pink tip, izuku shutters at the feeling and finds himself struggling not to make noise.
“you can make noise y’know, you have a cute voice.”
midoriya can hardly think, the feeling of your warm hand and breath by his cock too much for him to handle. he simply hums at your words and tells you he’s okay, you smile at him and continue to give his cock attention.
you swirl your tongue around his tip, using your hand to massage his extended length. taking his tip into your mouth you suck lightly and izuku swears he could see stars, he wonders if kacchan feels this good when he gets head. suddenly his thoughts get interrupted when you take the whole of him into your mouth, he gasps, unable to contain himself he brings his hand to your head and tugs on your hair making you moan onto his cock. izuku is whimpering and thrashing about, so much so that it’s affecting your ability to properly suck him off.
“izu, stop moving so much.” you manage to get out with your mouth still surrounding his cock.
with his eyes closed and head back he lets out a strained “uh-huh” and bucks his hips into your mouth, you moan at his length and he can’t help himself from doing it again.
“i’m sorry-sorry it feels–sososo good”
now izuku is practically face fucking you, albeit gently, he’s thrusting into your mouth and tugging lightly on your hair. you look up and find him absolutely lost, one hand on his abs and his mouth wide open, gasping and panting for air.
“ah! feels-feels funny, is this s-supposed to happen?”
you hum around his dick and he continues to push himself onto your tongue, you move your tongue up and down on him to encourage him closer to the edge.
eventually you feel a warm and thick substance invading your mouth, letting you know he came. izuku is panting and groaning, trying to catch his breath. he immediately lets go of your hair and rambles continuous apologizes, you have to force your mouth into his in order to get him to shut up.
he melts into the kiss, slightly unsure of quite how to kiss. his hands remain at his sides, too scared to touch you, unsure of where his hands should be.
you break the kiss and grab his hands, moving them onto your waist and breasts. izuku seems hesitant but eventually squeezes the areas softly. he’s kind of surprised, your skin was so soft and warm and your boobs were so squishy and bouncy.
“do you think you can go for more?”

general relationship headcanons — tim wright x fem!reader pre-mh
Tumblr media
during and post mh here!
starting that Tim finds it difficult to have a bond with someone, if with a platonic one he has his challenges, now imagine with a romantic one!
and it's very probably that he either met you through Brian (extra points if you are his sister... i got an idea) or during the recording of Marble Hornets but since this is pre marble hornets, we'll go for the first one.
if you met through Brian...
if you met through Brian, it was a little easier for him to have a conversation with you, because Brian did his best to make sure that the three of you could talk without leaving anyone uncomfortably silent.
the three of you went out constantly, until little by little, you two began to start a conversation without looking for a topic by searching hard in your little heads.
first were more fluid conversations.
then you hang out more often.
and then one of you caught feelings.
most probably was you first.
"she fell first, but he fell harder" trope.
at this point, you were just thinking about when you had developed romantic feelings for Tim. for your other friends, he was a quiet, reserved and sarcastic guy, according to them, he was absolutely not your type! but hey, he has something that makes you feel your heart beat as crazy and honestly, you don't give a fuck what they say lol.
Brian knew it.
he knew it even before you had developed feelings for him.
get ready for the most teasing ever.
but at the end, he would be more than happy to help you figure out if your feelings are reciprocated.
Brian would be the third wheel but not in an awkward way, he would help you two always be together. in small details like, if the three of you are walking, he will be on the other side so that you are both walking side by side.
until one day, Tim asked Brian if you and he had something, obviously, Brian denied it and in the end he collected an important fact.
TIM ALSO LIKES YOU!
you considered just giving up on your desire to tell Tim that you have feelings for him, for fear that the friendship would fracture and hangouts would become awkward and strained. But you didn't expect to have that day that you once dreamed of, to have him in front of you, his jaw somewhat tense pronouncing those words that had you in heaven: "i like you"
although you confessed to each other, it was after a week that he officially asked you to be his partner.
"can i be your boyfriend?" his voice sounded so intimate, so honest, the intention and the feeling were genuine despite his reserved nature.
congratulations! you and Tim are a cute couple <3!
your dates would be simple but cozy, an outing to a restaurant or being in their respective houses/apartments cooking something delicious for both of you.
i feel like it took Tim a while to give you a kiss, you were the one who showed more physical affection but it wasn't something that bothered you.
but don't worry! his mainly love language is quality time and acts of service.
but when he kisses you, oh god! his kisses are slow but so real, could fall into passionate, emotional? kind of that type.
use honey, dear or a nickname of yours.
your relationship with Tim was going pretty well. the attention Tim gave you, the protection and his genuineness in his feelings towards you made you the happiest person in this whole place! he usually gives you some little things, like flowers, a necklace or things that he knew you liked. you didn't want to pressure him into kissing on the lips, sure there were kisses on the temple and cheek but that was it. you knew Tim, you knew that for him there had to be a certain time for him to be comfortable in doing some actions and it doesn't bother you.
but it was a day that you went up one more step.
you were both waiting for Brian to return, he had a project to give to a professor and he had told both of you to go ahead and wait for him at the exit. Tim was next to you, his cigarette smell made you dizzy, he started to get into the habit of not smoking around you, he recognized that the cigarette smell was strong and he doesn't want to hurt you.
you played with your hair somewhat bored, you raised your gaze meeting his, making your gaze soften. his fingers tangled in your hair sending a tickle down your stomach that wasn't bad, a smile began to curve on your lips
"honey, can i..."
his voice sounded somewhat nervous but didn't tremble, you confidently took his cheeks, feeling his freshly cut beard in your hands, bringing both of your faces closer, cutting the distance and sealing it with a soft kiss.
the kiss escalated into one still slowly but with more contact from the two until a fake cough made your lips break the union, looking where it came from it was Brian with a smile.
there was a day where you were waiting for Brian and Tim. you remember that Brian had said something about a project that a friend of his wanted to do and he needed actors, since you had left your classes a little late Tim accompanied him.
a while had passed and you saw their two figures approaching the exit, Tim's gaze was tired and Brian raised his hand a little when he saw you from afar, corresponding to his sign, you did the same.
as Tim set his gaze on you, he smiled softly, seeing you brought him calm and warmth, he didn't want to lose you, he really didn't.
he was so grateful to have you as his partner, so much that it would hurt him that this so genuine, so... warm would end, but that won't happen and not soon, right?

Author's note: I feel like sanguinius' wings would ache after long battles <3 Relationships: Sanguinius/Gn!Reader Warnings: None really
Tumblr media
"Sigh..."
At first, Sanguinius would reject attention such as this; Insist he didn't need it, and that the gesture was wasted. He didn't want to seem weak or didn't want to be the center of your affection, you couldn't quite tell. Or perhaps it was both. Now so much deeper into your relationship he's much more allowing of such attention, stomach curling as he hunches in relaxation.
Now he allows it, because he knows you enjoy it just as much as he does.
His wings twitch happily as you press against the sore muscles at their base, flying and holding them tense for so long has cause them to become tight and strained. Your gentle hands do wonders in loosening them, along with the warm water of the bath. He's the closest he's yet gotten to euphoria- just peace and happiness. Even if for only a little while.
"They're always so sore..."
You mumble to yourself, feeling the sections where his armor dug into the skin. Sanguinius has plates that wrap around the base of his wings to keep them safe; One cut of a tendon could render him flightless for a period of time.
"I use them quite a bit, love."
He feels you smack his shoulder, the water adding a wet plap to his skin. Your hands slide along his wet skin, droplets sliding downward. His feathers repel most of the water, but he still holds them somewhat out of the water to keep from having to preen them all over again.
"You know what I mean."
Sanguinius chuckles at you, feeling your lips press against the dip between his shoulderblades.
"I do, but it is quite fun to tease you. Perhaps I would stop if you didn't always have such a reaction."
He still can't see your face, but he can hear your disgruntled sigh and chuckles again. He's smiling as well; A real one, one that actually reaches his eyes and makes their lovely color brighter and warmer.
Pushing against his shoulders harder trying to soothe his deeper muscles you feel his body relax more, leaning forward a bit more harshly as he looses tension. His wings twitch a bit more, before he stretches them and feels how much less sore and aching he is already.
"I'm well enough, come back where I can see you."
You shake your head despite him being unable to see it, though he can probably hear the shifting of your body in the water.
"I'll be done in a bit," You say, feeling the brush of his feathers against your arm as you push towards the base of his wing. He lets it droop a bit, the tips of some feathers dipping into the warm water.
"I should do your hair after this..." You mumble to yourself, an action which has Sanguinius turning around to snatch you off the step you're on, pulling you to sit on his lip.
"I wasn't done!"
You quickly complain, grumbling discontent as Sanguinius leans down and nuzzles his face into your neck. He hums happily, and you can feel him relax as he breathes in your scent and feels the thrum of your heart in your artery.
"Shush, you. I can wash my hair later. Let me just enjoy you for awhile."

been thinking about katsuki with reader who’s hardheaded and loud with their friends, but a crybaby and could barely speak a sentence clearly with katsuki (he has to practically kiss your face to hear you sort of thing)
Here’s a little Drabble!!!
NOT PROOFREAD SORRYYYY
Warnings- cussing, mentions of bullying, insecure reader
——
“Watch what the hell you say to me, bitch.” Your spat out harshly to some girl from 1b. You didn’t know much about her, just that she had been shot talking your abilities.
“Don’t think I will, I mean cmon. Your quirk is like bottom teir at best, it’s a waste of space for a student in 1A.” You had felt a pang in your heart, and suddenly your throat was tightening up.
You had always been somewhat insecure of your quirk, but once you had made it to UA it had simmered down a little bit, until now.
“Sounds like someone’s jealous. What you never been told no in your life? All of that daddy’s money and you still couldn’t get into the top class. How unfortunate.” You mustered out a few more sentences before walking off with a scoff. The girl did nothing but clench her firsts and growl behind her teeth.
You felt your eyes burning and your bottom lip began to tremble.
Your eyes scanned for the nearest empty classroom and the second you spotted one you were quick to open the door and insert yourself into the room.
Tears were streaming down your face uncontrollably, you had been holding them back as hard as you could, but now that you were alone? It was over.
Your breaths were becoming short and shallow as you let out harsh sobs.
Your phone began to buzz—it was Katsuki.
You didn’t want to answer, but you knew how worried he’d be if you didn’t.
You reluctantly picked up the phone.
“Where the hell are you? Mina said she saw— are you crying.” He cut off his own thought once he’d heard your strained breaths and sniffles.
“I-I’m so—rry.” You could barely form coherent sentences, the air in your lungs becoming sharp.
“Drop your pin, I’m coming.” Was all your boyfriend had said before he hung up the phone. This was common in you and Katsukis relationship.
Growing up you were torn down and bullied a lot because of your quirk, so once middle school hit your only defense mechanism was to out bitch them. And man were you good at it.
But deep down you were still some insecure kid whose confidence was ruined by a couple of 9 year olds. So even when you let loose with your cruel words and ugly glares, you couldn’t help but feel your eyes burning.
As you tried to calm your breathing the door had swung open and scanning the room with frantic eyes was Katsuki.
This wasn’t unusual, he knew your routine. He tried his best to be there whenever you did breakdown, but most times you choose to be less rational when he isn’t around.
“C’mere.” He mumbled as you let out another sob at the sight of your boyfriend.
You flopped into his arms, the two of you now leaned against a desk. You felt his hand come to push the hair out of your face, a few pieces wet and stuck to your cheeks from your relentless crying.
Katsuki was in no means gentle, in fact he was more so known for the opposite. But whenever moments like this occurred he treated you as if he were handing glass. You never understood why he’d put up with your emotional roller coasters, not even a small complaint ever leaving his lips.
His lips planted a soft kiss upon your forehead and you finally felt your heartbeat slow down a little.
“Jus’ tell me when you’re ready.” He muttered into your hair as he continued placing feather soft kisses across your face.
Once you’d finally regulated your breathing you looked up at him with red eyes and tear stained cheeks.
“I’m sorry—kats. I was arguing—with some girl and she said some re—ally rude stuff about my quirk and I just…I got really mad, i guess.” Hiccups interrupted you every few words, but Katsuki had no trouble understanding.
He continued his kisses as he nodded his head to show you he was listening.
You sat for a moment, still a little on edge with your emotions as you pulled Katsuki back for a moment.
He gave you a confused look but nonetheless stepped back.
“Why do you put up with me? I’m a hot fucking m—ess.” You voice trembled out again, and it took everything in you not to cry.
“Because I love you, all of you. Event the weird shit you do, or whenever you feel like really using that big ass mouth of yours, I still love you.” He answered quickly, and even though his words seemed harsh they melted your heart.
“I love you too, kats.” You pulled him back into a soft embrace.
“I’d hope so, with all the shit I have to put up with.” He grumbled softly.
——
Sorry this def isn’t my best work, but I rlly liked your idea bc it reminded me a bit of myself lololol but I do love ur ideas!!! Don’t be shit to request again:))))

-Goofy and Stolas, Two Flawed Fatherly Goofs-
And how understanding the former, helps us understand and sympathize with the latter.
Before reading I would like to ask that if anyone has watched Helluva Boss and both Goofy Movies, you can skim through the first part of this thread and go to: Character Analysis and Comparison as I will be recapping the some key episodes from Helluva Boss as well as both Goofy movies for any newcomers who may not know about either.
Now I've watched Helluva Boss since it debuted back in 2019 and at first, I wasn't too keen on it being anything more than a comedy series centered around a group of assassin demons from hell called I.M.P (Immediate Murder Professionals) getting into hijinks.
Tl;dr: I.M.P is an assassination company run by Blitz, the main protagonist of the series, as they take on contracts from sinners who died and went to hell but seek revenge on anyone they hated or were wronged by back on earth. In order for them to get to earth they needed to use a magical grimoire that Stolas "loans" to Blitz in exchange for the two spending 1 night on the full moon each month getting down and dirty in the sheets so they can have access to Earth as Imps are not normally allowed to that level of magic.
all of that changed in S1 ep2 "Loo Loo Land"
Tumblr media
In the 2nd ep of the show, we were see that the series would be more than just wacky hijinks and that this would be a story with a heart to it as we are introduced to Stolas, I.M.P's benefactor, and his family life.
Tumblr media
We learn during Loo Loo Land that Stolas has a somewhat strained relationship with his daughter, Octavia.
this is mostly due to the fact that when she was younger, her and her father were extremely close, however after some time after she grew into her late teen years, Stolas had gotten into an affair with none other than Blitz.
Things became hostile within the household as Stella would throw tantrums and wreck everything that was Stolas' all the while Via was watching the family she had thought was happy being together, fall apart.
Tumblr media
To try and remedy this, Stolas takes Via to an amusement park, the titular "Loo Loo Land" which she use to enjoy going to when she was a child, however things do not go as planned as Via had to spend the day watching her father flirt with Blitz, whom he hired as a bodyguard.
At her limit and frustrated with watching her father act this way, Via storms off until Stolas catches up with her and the two have a heart-to-heart moment where Via opens up to her father about her fears of him leaving her for Blitz and while Stolas struggles to and is ultimately unable to tell Via the truth about why everything is happening and explain to her the relationship he has with Stella, he assures her that he would never abandon her.
Tumblr media
The episode ends happily as Via and Stolas' relationship was saved from being burned down, even though everything else around them was being burned to a crisp courtesy of Blitz...um, Foreshadow?
Stolas and Via's relationship would be touched on again in S2 ep2 "Seeing Stars"
Tumblr media
The episode sees Via running away to Earth after she tries to remind her father about a promise he made to her when she was younger about how he would take her to see Azathoth's tears (a meteor shower) as it only happens once in a great while.
But because Stolas was caught up arguing with Stella, who is moving out of their mansion and is having her things delivered, he had forgotten about his promise which causes Via to become rightfully angered and leads into the events of the episode.
Tumblr media
At the climax, Via has another heart to heart conversation, not with Stolas, but with Loona, Blitz's adopted Hellhound daughter, where she talks to Via about how Dad's tend to mess up and make big mistakes almost all the time, but that it doesn't mean they don't care and that them trying to do better is what matters as long as they don't stop trying. as well as telling her how Stolas came with them to look for her himself (Stolas got caught up with Blitz as the two were dragged away and got into their own situation).
The ep ends happily as Via forgives her father and the two families (Via/Stolas & Loona/Blitz) enjoy watching fireworks go off.
Tumblr media
After Seeing Stars, we wouldn't get any episodes or story plots that involve Stolas and Via's relationship for some time as by this point Stolas' romantic relationship with Blitz was becoming more of the center focus of the series as they both come to question how their relationship is and if it can be more than something that's merely transactional as both parties wish for something more intimate than simply having sex in exchange for Blitz being able to have a means to keep his business open. I made a thread on this earlier if you want to read the FULL detail on this development because this thread is going to be long enough as it is already lol From Truth Seekers to Mastermind: How we've reached the halfway point of Stoliz – @shana-reviews-tmblr on Tumblr The only thing you have to keep in mind from the thread that connects to Stolas is that he has been in a crappy marriage and for the first time with Blitz he feels like he's found someone he has genuine feelings for and wants to have a genuine relationship with someone. Because of this when Blitz is accused of stealing from Stolas, Stolas rushes to Blitz's rescue and takes the fall to save the person he loves and as punishment Stolas is stripped of his powers and title for 100yrs, no longer being able to see Octavia or come to his own property, Stolas has been banished.
Tumblr media
This all culminates in the S2 finale Sinsmas where, after trying to get a hold of Via for over a month, things now begin to fall apart as Via endures her mother's cruel attempts to intercept Stolas trying to call her and explain everything, all while mocking him to Via's face.
Tumblr media
Via also unfortunately finds her father's medication which he had been taking in order to cope with the abuse Stella had been putting him through for years.
Tumblr media
When Stolas and Via finally get a chance to talk, Via completely shuts Stolas out as she assumes the medication Stolas took was because of her and thinks that all the good times they shared was a facade he was putting on and that Stolas would rather be happy with Blitz than with her and that the love she thought he had for her was also a facade.
the two of them are unable to communicate properly about everything and the misunderstanding between them causes Stolas to lose the one good thing that came from his marriage to Stella.
and we are left on a very bittersweet ending as Via has completely shut Stolas out of her life and all he can do is fall to his knees in tears knowing he will not see his daughter for the next 100yrs, and by then she may never recognize him as her father and just see him as a stranger.
Tumblr media
And with Stolas' story summed up (for now) we can look into the other character this thread is covering.
That being Goofy and his adventures with Max in both A Goofy Movie and An Extremely Goofy Movie.
Like with Stolas I'll be summing up the events of both films, after which is where I'll get into the meat of things and try to show how Goofy's story and his own arcs will give us an insight into Stolas.
Tumblr media
We begin Goofy's summary with the very first Goofy Movie, where Goofy, after being told a VERY exaggerated story by Max's principal about Max "Dressed up like a gang member" and was "causing a riot at school", decides to take his son on a road trip across country to spend quality time together in hopes of strengthening his bond with Max and helping him to stay out of trouble and avoid being put on the electric chair.
Tumblr media
Unbeknownst to Goofy however, Max isn't the troublemaker his principal made him out to be and prior to being taken by his dad, was planning to attend a party where Max would hope to win the heart of Roxane, a girl he has a crush on.
Despite the rocky start the two have on the road trip, from Max rejecting any quality time with his father to Goofy taking some questionable "tough love" parenting advice from his friend Pete, the two slowly do make progress in becoming closer.
However Goofy learns a dark secret Max kept from him at the start of their trip. That being that Max changed their map so that they would end up in LA instead of Lake Destiny (the original destination Goofy planned to take Max too).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because earlier in the film before Goofy took Max out on the Open Road, Max wanted to stop by Roxane's house and try to tell her he wouldn't make it to the party after he had promised to go there earlier when they met at school, but in a panic out of fear of losing his chance with her as she was walking away thinking Max wasn't interested in her, he lies and says that his dad was taking him to said concert, to which he then promised he would be on stage to wave too her, thus he changed the map in an attempt to cover his lie.
And when the time came for Max to direct his dad on where to go, Max in a panic chooses the route he picked, which then leads to Goofy and Max getting into an argument causing the two to crash off the road and be stranded in a river (roll with it) as the two now have no choice but to talk things out as they are literally stranded together with nothing to distract them.

after clearing every misconception up, Goofy now understands his son better and any doubts he had from his principal to even Pete telling Goofy his son is a bad kid are dispelled, while Max, after spending all this time with his dad, is now more open to his father and seeing him as more than just "Goofy".
In the end the two manage to see Eye To Eye as Goofy gets Max to the concert and the movie ends with Max confessing to Roxane, after telling her the truth and apologizing for the lies he said, before formally introducing his dad to her.
Tumblr media
Happy Ending
So, with the first film covered we now go into the 2nd film, which now sees Max heading to college and Goofy, after being fired from his job for losing his focus as he struggled with depression from Max being gone, needing to go to college as he must earn a degree if he is to find a better job.
Tumblr media
An Extremely Goofy movie shows us Goofy and Max's relationship struggling once more as, with Goofy now attending the same college as Max, starts to try and spend so much time with Max that he is smothers him not helped that Max is planning to enter the College X games and face against one of the rival teams, The Gammas.
(Goofy Movie Tournament Arc, BEGINS!)
Things come to a breaking point as, after Goofy was recruited by the Gamma's, albeit with Max encouraging to his dad to join as a means to hamper the Gamma's and participates in the qualifying rounds, Max is shown up by his own father, who is unknowingly being used by the Gammas to cheat in the event and get under Max's skin.
Tumblr media
This causes Max to blow up at his father because with all the smothering and parenting his dad has been putting him through while ignoring the ground rules they agreed upon was building up a lot of resentment with what happened at the preliminary rounds being the breaking point and Goofy is sent in a spiral of depression, he was failing his courses, not staying in touch with his new girlfriend Sylvia (who was the librarian of the college he was attending) and eventually was prepared to just accept his fate and quit college.
it is only thanks to him realizing he was losing his focus and in a sense being a hypocrite (as he had taught Max a similar lesson about Staying Focused on Your Goals earlier in the film) that Goofy makes a comeback and when the finals of the X games are happening, Goofy aids Max after the two make up with each other and their team defeats the Gammas.
At the end, Goofy and Max share a few words of love, understanding, and respect as Goofy is now able to fully let go of Max as he is able to graduate with enough passing grades to get his diploma and find another, hopfully better job.
And we see Goofy driving off happily into the sunset with his new girlfriend, Sylvia as he can move forward with his life while knowing his bond with his son is now stronger than ever before.
youtube
Alrighty!
so, with both Stolas and Goofy's stories summarized we now can come to:
Character Analysis and Comparison
If you've read the above summaries or know of both Stolas and Goofy's stories, you might see there are some small similarities.
Goofy and Stolas both:
Single Parents
Have Teenage kids
A strained relationship with said kids
Both have issues with communicating with their kids
Have romances with someone
are both doofuses in their own way
On a surface level this would be all the similarities that the two have and if so, how does that even remotely help anyone sympathize with and understand Stolas?
For this we have to dive a bit deeper and examine some of the differences between them along with their similarities.
Differences:
Unlike Goofy, who is a working-class citizen, Stolas was born in a more privileged life as he is heir to the Goetia family, from birth Stolas was raised to see himself above others who were beneath his social class while also being denied any sense of autonomy, identity, and life outside of his identity as a Goetia it was only thanks to his relationship with Blitz, an Imp who is seen as FAR beneath him on the hierarchy, that Stolas began his journey to recognizing his own privileged life and the inequality that surrounds the world he lives in.
Goofy meanwhile is your average joe. He's an middle-class worker who tries to be a good loving and supportive father to his son, not to mention he is also a widower. Simple, yet easy to understand.
Another big difference is in how their stories are told, Goofy's story revolves around his relationship with his son, while for Stolas his story revolves around his relationships with Blitz (Romantic) and Octavia (Familial) but also includes somethings that are far more adult and nuanced than what Goofy is allowed to tell as Stolas' life includes but not limited to:
Spousal abuse at the hands of his ex-wife
Possible addiction to medication
The closet one can say Goofy and Stolas both have as far as "heavy topic" material is that both have had states of Depression.
This now leads us into their:
Similarities
For Goofy, the cause of his depression was Empty Nest Syndrome as Goofy came to the realization that his baby boy is off starting his own life while Goofy is left alone after being with him for so many years.
For Stolas, his depression is tied to the Spousal abuse he suffered from Stella.
But let's examine some other things the two have in common:
Miscommunication
This is something that shows up in both Stolas and Goofy's stories.
With Goofy, it's the miscommunication of him assuming he knows the story about what Max did in Highschool and rather than talking with Max to get his side of the story, Goofy believes what the principal said and, against Max's will, takes him on a trip thinking that this is the solution to helping Max when it didn't.
It was only when Goofy and Max were able to sit down and talk that Goofy got the whole story that he finally understood his son better which helped to mend their relationship and make it stronger.
This also happens with Stolas as I mentioned above.
Because of how Heavy a topic Stolas' situation is, this is something that isn't as easy as one thinks.
Because it is NEVER as easy as some will think it is for a parent to tell their child how much they've been suffering because of their spouse, made worse if the child is close with that spouse or if they have a good relationship.
and it's because of this lack of communication that Stolas is unable to explain things to Via properly to help her see him eye to eye and understand her father.
To Via she's only seeing her dad cheat on her mom with someone she doesn't know about, and it didn't help either when Stolas forgot his promise to Via to spend time with her like he said he would.
Both times Via forgave him but ultimately Stolas being unable to tell Via about her mother is what bit Stolas in the end, not helped that he never even told Via too about how Stella tried to have him assassinated.
So as we see, both Goofy and Stolas have had bad communication skills with their kids, while for different reasons, the fact is NEITHER of them were able to or were to talk and get things straightened out, which for both characters would find its way to bit them in the end.
which now leads into another trait both share that I might get push back from, but it's a hard truth.
Goofy and Stolas BOTH make selfish choices
How does Goofy act selfish? what blasphemy do I speak?
In a Goofy Movie, Goofy makes the decision to take Max on a trip without even once hearing Max out or even asking if he wanted to do this at all not helped that the first place they stopped at was a tourist spot where in Goofy gets into hijinks as well as doing things that makes Max feel embarrassed in front of crowds of people, despite Max trying to tell Goofy how he felt but Goofy was too lost in his own fun to listen.
Believe it or not On the Open Road, the music number that happens when Goofy and Max are on their journey, works and functions the same as a villain song singing which makes Goofy something of, if not, an Antagonist of the movie (and before anyone says anything Antagonist and Villain are not synonymous)
If you want to understand WTH I'm going on about, I highly recommend watching Sideways video on the music of a Goofy movie it is an amazing video and will better explain why Open Road is Goofy's antagonist song among other things you might like to find out about A Goofy Movie.
youtube
So, if you watched the video already then you should see why I mentioned Open Road as an example of Goofy being selfish, this is because the song revolves around Goofy saying what he plans to do which is something that hinders Max's goals as Max, in this movie, is trying to win the heart of Roxane, but now he can't be there with her like he had hoped because he's now going across country spending days and weeks apart from her.
The selfish choices Goofy makes also does not stop here as in an Extremely Goofy Movie, where Goofy this time is sort of the focus point.
In the sequel, Goofy attends the same college as Max and it's made very clear Goofy is trying too hard to cope from his Empty Nest Syndrome by wanting to spend more time with him that he never bothers to adhere to the ground rules Max and him agreed to, even though Max was very understanding and sympathetic to his dad for coming to the same college and genuinely wanted him to get his degree so he can get a better job.
But throughout the film Goofy is constantly smothering Max which caused so much friction to build up that when Goofy, unknowingly, shows up Max during a sports event it's what causes Max to finally snap at Goofy and call him out.
and in the end Goofy acknowledges his own wrong doings when he recognizes that he lost his focus on trying to spend time with Max when he should have been focusing on trying to get his degree, to which he tries his best to make things right by apologizing to those he wronged and work to get his grades up and help Max win the College X games tournament.
This leads us now to discussing Stolas' selfish choices.
With Stolas, the selfish choices he makes are tied to both his romantic relationship with Blitz as well as Via, due to how one affected the other.
Stolas was so emotionally damaged from growing up being molded and groomed to be the ideal Goetia and never feeling an ounce of genuine affection from either his family or his wife (save for Via) that when he met Blitz as children the fun memories he had was something he held dear, so much that after 25 years when the two met up again Stolas had misunderstood Blitz's attempts to distract him so he could steal his grimoire as an attempt at "Romancing" him, which he himself also contributed too when he was so drunk and in an emotionally vulnerable place after Stella belittled him in front of her friends, that he felt Blitz was showing genuine interest and love, or at least what he assumed was love.
Not helped that when Blitz gave Stolas petty sex it further pushed the miscommunication which got further muddied when Stolas made an arrangement with Blitz
As a reminder i made another thread that tries to five into Stolas and Blitz's relationship so if you want to re-read that, pause reading here and scroll back up to the link.
If not no worries, the only thing you need to take away from that thread is that Stolas, for the first time in his life, met someone, who isn't related to him, that he connects with who makes him genuinely happy and in a desperate attempt to have that, he makes the selfish choice of wanting to have Blitz in his life as a lover.
This also causes friction with his daughter as mentioned earlier how Via watched her family fall apart and her father chasing after someone who she doesn't know and thinks is a homewrecker, when in truth she doesn't understand nor was told how close Blitz was to Stolas or sees how much of a good person Blitz actually is.
Loo Loo Land showed Stolas made the mistake with how he was ignoring Via's emotional state when he constantly flirted with Blitz instead of really talking to Via, a mistake that was in a very well placed part to show the irony, was done to him by his father Paimon when he saw Stolas in distress over what he told him his life will become and rather than deal with him, he took Stolas to the circus instead, there it was an attempt to distract Stolas and not deal with him.
With Stolas' it was a genuine attempt, if misguided, to try and make Via happy even if his own want for Blitz caused him to lose his focus on trying to help Via work through her emotions and properly explain things to her.
It just goes to show how Paimon's upbringing of Stolas affected his parenting skills:
youtube
It's the lack of communication that Stolas has with his daughter that makes it harder for Via to see her father's plight and truly understand him, and this leads to her believing he might lie to her, not helped that any chance Stolas DID try to communicate with her like in Sinsmas when he tried to call her to explain everything, Stella ran interference FOR A MONTH which caused Stolas' window of opportunity to explain things to vanish and she calls him out on it.
youtube
much like how Max, for all the times Goofy was making his own selfish choices, did the same.
But make no mistake, even if Stolas and Goofy's stories are not one to one the same, what similarities they do have and any differences between them DOES help paint a bigger picture.
that picture being parenthood and how much of a spectrum it is with how parents can be loving, supportive, and well-meaning, while also being very flawed and human in how they try to handle situations that come up as there is no 1 specific or "right" way to parenting or how some problems parents face can be different in some details, yet still have the same root cause/issue and not all have the same solutions or can be solved the same way.
Which leads to a topic that Stolas and Goofy both share that can't be denied, no matter what:
Their Love for their Children
Tumblr media
It's no secret that Goofy loves his son, it's one of the driving forces of both movies, heck even taking into account the show Goof Troop and the Mickey's Once upon a Christmas special, Goofy's bond with his son is unquestionable strong and is core part of his character.
Case in point this moment here from the movie where, despite him and Max having friction, Goofy shows his love for his son by having a real moment with him as the two bond over somethign from the past they use to have fun with:
youtube
And just as Goofy has undying love for Max, so too does Stolas have undying love for Octavia.
How?
well the picture you see above with him holding a newborn Octavia shows that he was there for her since her birth, we never get any pictures of Stella being there for Via or pictures of Stella and Via by themselves, we only see pictures of Stolas and Via together from him being there for her on her birthday to playing horsey with him having her riding on his back, heck in S1 Ep2 the episode begins with a young Via crying out to her parents, but only Stolas goes to check in on her and her nightmare was soley about her losing him.
The only thing that Stolas did that we never see Goofy do, and this is more a result of how Disney locks Goofy behind a G rating; Was when Stolas, after finally standing up to Stella, talks about how he endured so much of her vitriol, cruelty, and malice even when he tried hard to make the marriage neither of them wanted, work. ALL FOR VIA'S SAKE.
Even showing how he would have felt terrible for what he did if his actions had hurt Stella emotionally, but the only thing of hers that was hurt wasn't her heart, but her pride as a Goetia.
He endured so much for Octavia and all to let her have some kind of a normal life that he was denied and to be honest if Goofy was in Stolas' position he'd do the same for Max.
In Conclusion
I do not know if this thread will enlighten people on Stolas' character or if people will agree with me or my points.
My goal with this thread was to show the similarities between these two as I have seen countless times people decrying Stolas as an unlikable character, that he deserves to be miserable, or worse deserved to be killed.
To which I strongly disagree, Goofy reminds me so much of Stolas and vice versa, sure they have plenty of differences, but that shows how Stolas isn't a carbon vopy of Goofy and that he stands out as his own character.
Stolas may not be A-Hyuck-ing all the time or getting into slapstick moments with a "YAAAAAAAAH-HOO-HOO-HOO-EEEEE!" holler at the end, but he is silly in his own way and his arc only differs from Goofy in that Stolas is a privileged prince who has to unlearn the aristocratic upbringing he was molded into.
But where Stolas and Goofy are similar is in how they are as father's trying to be there for the children they love so dearly.
Goofy's journey lasted 2 full movies, not counting any specials or the TV series (Goof Troop), it roughly tells a story that is 2hrs and 42mins total, in that time span of each film things had to be set up, lead into the conflict, and be resolved by movie's end.
Stolas' journey as a character is lasting what is to be a 4 seasoned 52-episode series that has to stretch his development to where it is needed story wise, in other words Stolas' journey (in terms of his relationship with Via) is a slow burn compared to Goofy's and it isn't completed yet, so it is unfair to say Stolas or Goofy's journeys are superior or inferior to the other rather we should look at their story as two different takes of the same goal they both set out to accomplish.
So the question is, with all that we've discussed in this thread
If we can sympathize with and cheer for Goofy to have a happy ending with his loved ones, despite the mistakes, and selfish choices he made...
Tumblr media
Then why can't we do the same for Stolas, when after everything that's been shown in this thread, do we see so many similarities that are irrefutable even if there are some differences between them that makes each character have their own identity?
Why can't we sympathize with and cheer for Stolas to find happiness and outgrow the upbringing he was forced into?
Tumblr media
Regardless if anyone agrees with me, I hope at least this thread gives you all something to think about regardless if you watched ether characters story. Because if Stolas and Goofy can have similarities...how many other characters out there are similar that also might be unfairly hated?
In the end I see Goofy and Stolas as similar characters and as I said earlier are two shades of what I see as a Parenting spectrum.
They are Fathers
Tumblr media
They are Lovers
Tumblr media
They make mistakes
Tumblr media
"They may not always get it right, but they're trying...
that's more important than you think."

My Headcanons with 100yq
Let me start by saying I love fairy tail. It was my first shounen anime that I sought out on my own. (One piece, Naruto, and Bleach just came on when I was little and watching toonami). It is, to this day, one of my favorite shows of all time with Lucy Heartfilia being one of my favorite characters of all time.
So, on to the headcanons.
Lucy and Natsu have an undefined relationship. They call each other their partner and let people take it how they will because they don't even know. Their relationship is so much more than being in love or working together. They would die for the other and pull the other back from the brink of insanity. How can you label that? They have a blind trust in the other and that's all that matters.
Wendy has received some lasting effects from being trapped for 7 years and that's why it appears she hasn't grown much despite being the age for multiple growth spurts to have hit. Her body being in hibernation for so long has left her stunted almost. She's the only one who is was a young child when it happened and is the only one who looks relatively the same after all that time.
It also doesn't help now that she has the power of Irene in her body now as well. That much power isn't helping her at all either. Most of her energy goes to keeping her power in check, not allowing her to grow much.
Erza has almost somewhat dedicated Lucy to be her "right-hand man" while she leads the group. Yeah, it's technically Team Natsu, but Erza and Lucy are the ones who do a majority of the work that isn't fighting. Erza is in charge of the group as a whole, ensuring that everyone is safe, healthy, and on track. Lucy is in charge of the map, finances, and helping with other information.
Natsu and Gray are the weather regulators. If they go somewhere that's too hot, Gray takes over. If they go somewhere too cold, Natsu takes over. That's their main job aside from getting food when they aren't nearby any towns.
I personally believe that they all have some sort of chronic pain or lingering injuries from their fights in the past.
Erza tends to hurt just about all over, but mainly gets head aches due to her eye strain and all the concussions she's sustained.
Natsu doesn't usually hurt too badly, but his scars always bother him whether they're itchy, throbbing, or something. His problem usually lies with his heart. Having died multiple times tends to fuck it up.
Gray has a similar issue with his scar. He also tends to feel very tight in his muscles due to how cold his natural body temp is after learning devil slayer magic so it takes him awhile to get out of bed in the morning. (He loved when the town was underwater because he could easily climb out of bed with no problem)
Wendy usually deals with sore muscles and an odd tingling in her hands and feet. They concluded that it's nerve damage from the Face she and Carla took care of.
Lucy gets random hot flashes from rewriting the book. She also still has scars from it, but they're super faint. You really only see them when she's standing in the sunlight. She also just has really bad knees and ankles but absolutely refuses to wear any shoe without a heel.
Gray and Natsu get under stimulated a lot when they're just travelling, so they make it a point to spar whenever they have a moment. It usually ends with them both getting scolded for going a bit too far.
Lucy still has her little quirk of wanting to collect more keys so anytime they travel somewhere, her first thing to do is find a magic shop and see if they have any. Most of the time she can't. A lot of shop masters tend to say that after the Grand Magic Games, celestial wizards started sprouting up out of nowhere, eager to learn more.
I want to believe that Wendy told Erza about Irene. Wendy felt a lot of guilt keeping it from her so after about a week that they first set out, she told Erza. Erza was more worried about what it meant for Wendy than anything cause wtf my mom that died is living in my basically little sister. It took Wendy a while to explain that it wasn't actually Irene, just her power.
Gray tends to space out whenever they're resting. No one really knows where his mind goes most of the time, but occasionally, he'll get the smallest smile and they'll know it's Juvia he's thinking about.
And for just a bit of Nalu angst, Natsu had a hard time looking at Lucy for a while. He knows Lucy takes a lot of pride in her looks so now that she has scars all over her body, he blames himself for them. She told him multiple times that they don't bother her and she takes a lot of pride in them herself. The scars are proof that she saved Natsu and that's all that matters for her. They slowly started to fade so now, he struggles to watch her stand in the sun. Lucy knows this and tends to make him look at her so he knows it's okay.

As a writer who's kinda dabbled in this very similar idea of a transfem metal who has overcome Eggman's programming, there's something I'm somewhat curious about.
For some small context, the idea I'm playing with is that, much like with Mecha Sonic and the scrapniks on Scrapnik Island, Metal's personality is somewhat separate from Eggman's programming, which appears to function as a sort of command override crossed with an inhibitor chip, which got damaged in a battle and led to Metal being lost and left behind.
In any case, I like the idea of Metal basically being a normal person, manipulation notwithstanding. How'd you decide to run with that idea for her? and more to the setting, how do the scrapniks and Mecha Sonic fit in with this, if they're part of your story's canon? What do they think of Metal?
and lastly, does Metal not want to modify her body to show she's changed? With like a new paint scheme or something?
Sorry for the long ask!
oh interesting! hmm i wrote my thoughts under the cut here. theyre kinda train of thought lol
i wanted to try out a metal sonic learning autonomy/becoming a person story because i wanted to write a narrative about metal actively learning how to BE a person at all. for her to be in this future, she had to completely reject the ideals and beliefs eggman instilled in her and the variety of complexes that arose from her wanting to be the "real" sonic. the process is long and difficult because that really WAS what she wanted and truly believed in the past, regardless of if it was just eggman's code or her programming or whatever. it was all she had to hold onto for a long time, and boy did she hold onto it tight lol
so for metal to truly change, every single belief metal held as truth while under eggman's control had to be directly challenged and faced, then completely shattered. her life beyond that i honestly view as a really long healing process. transitioning, making friendships (albeit strained ones), trying to figure out what to do now... it takes a while for metal to figure out how to even live at all because it takes a long time to heal that big of a wound. that's why i spend time during the good future comic showing that metal's current life isn't like. perfect. she's still healing, still mending relationships, still learning how all this "life" stuff works at all.
i think the scrapniks could be interesting to fit into any metal redemption/future story… i haven't thought a lot about how they fit into good future au or interact with my metal, but i think the scrapniks have varying opinions on metal. i think any initial interactions between good future metal and scrapnik mecha are just really awkward lol. like they're very similar in how they both chose to live for themselves regardless of what eggman coded in them, but i think it would be hard for mecha to initially let go of the idea that metal was his replacement in a sense. but i think his desire to live for the future is stronger than that insecurity, so they would be chill eventually. just not like. pals lol
tbh i think sigma might have a harder time accepting metal's change. like if i'm remembering my timelines correctly then sigma is probably the scrapnik that would be most aware of metal's capabilities and her former title of eggman's magnum opus. might be hard to let go of that
i think a lot of the smaller scrapniks would love metal tho. like before she rejected eggman, one of her core programming goals was to protect badniks and prevent damage from coming to them so they probably think she's the bee's knees. big sis or whatever
and good future metal does do some body modification eventually! i think once she realizes she CAN, she goes really hard on a total rejection of the "sonic" image
thats all i got good luck on ur story!!

kitty!reader modeled for ten years and was somewhat of a micro celebrity well on her way to the top when she had a breakdown, which led to a short stint at a “private facility,” which led to her quitting modeling when she got out
she has a strained relationship with her mother, the head of a popular teen magazine. she understands that she only wanted her to thrive and not have to rely on anyone, especially men, for help, and that being a single mother wasn’t the easiest, but she just wants her love and approval, which she can never seem to get
an outer banks native, though there are baseless rumors that she’s from the mainland and moved to obx
meets jj at the country club; she likes that he stood up to those rich assholes and defended john b; she doesn’t even care if he did it or not
during the first year of her retirement, she picked up the bass after watching adventure time and falling in love with marceliene and her bass playing. she ordered a bass and learned how to play through youtube
kitty!reader who always has fur on some part of her outfit, mostly because she likes fur but also out of spite because her mother called it tacky and wouldn’t let her wear fur on the catwalk. it slowly becomes a signature part of her style the more she wears it and turns into one of her favorite accessories
has a cat named ‘leonardo’. named after dicaprio, da vinci, or the turtle? who knows? she won’t tell anyone
was homeschooled her whole life because her mother didn’t want her to get distracted by “trivial” things like friends and extracurricular activities
former chronic nail biter from anxiety. her mother solved the problem by making her constantly get acrylics, specifically stilettos, and although they’ve cut off contact, she still gets acrylics because it helps fight the habit
doesn’t like to talk about her time in the private facility because it was at a bad time in her life and she was only 16
still keeps the schedule enforced at the private facility because it gives her ease, control, and it’s one less thing she has to worry about
kitty!reader despite her mother’s strict rules and ceaseless watching, she was able to sneak out and go to huge kook parties. she met kelce at one of them; it’s how he became her first boyfriend
very mean, like literally a bitch. jj knows it’s a defense mechanism, but that doesn’t stop him from getting angry and matching her cruelty when she cuts him down
hates that jj can see through her cold and snarky facade but can’t deny that it feels good to be seen and known no matter how scary she finds it. they bond over their reputations, awful parents, fears of the future, and about leaving obx one day
the first time she took him with her to meet her mom (after he begged for days and guilt-tripped her), her model friends thought he was a butch lesbian, so now his name is saved in her phone as ‘my butch king.’
knows who her father is and where he is but doesn’t want to meet him. he sends her letters and birthday cards, but she doesn’t want to open up that wormhole, at least not until she gets her shit together with her mom
when she meets the pogues she likes cleo the most and pope the least. jj is a bit sad she doesn’t get along with his bestie, and she asks her why, and she tells him their homoerotic tension is off the charts. he can’t argue with that
kitty!reader is basically blacklisted from all kook events after she and kelce broke up, and he spilled all her dirty secrets with the added bonus of some lies of his own and her leaked pictures. she’s figure eight’s pariah before she leaves obx and after she comes back
smokes to unwind, but she refuses to let anyone other than jj roll for her. if they’re not together at the time, she will drive all the way to the cut and ask him to roll her shit for her. he pretends to be annoyed, but he loves that he’s the only one she trusts to roll her joints, especially since he could lace the shit, not that he would, but he could if he wanted to. makes him all warm inside that she trusts him and is unknowingly putting her life in his hands
joins the pogues on their beer runs and their adventures from time to time

Story Summary: Ursa Wren faces a dilemma: since her daughter, Sabine, is now of age, several high-ranking clans now seek to win the favor of Clan Wren by offering her potential suitors. With the political pressure mounting, Ursa has no choice but to acquiesce to the invocation of an ancient rite that will determine which of the suitors will have Sabine's hand in marriage. It's a risky game: turning any of the clans down has the potential to create new enemies that Clan Wren can scarcely afford as they continue to wage war against the Empire. To win this game, Ursa will need to rig it in Sabine's favor and choose a candidate of her own. But this candidate will need to have more than luck on their side . . . which is why she summons a certain plucky young Jedi named Ezra Bridger to Krownest.
Part 1 of 4
Mandalorians were taught since birth to only use beskar for armor and weaponry. That has always been the way. To use it for anything else, according to custom, was to waste it. But one person did not see it that way. They saw beyond, to what it could be. What did they see, you ask? Beauty. And so, they fashioned rings of beskar. The first of their kind. Who would be crazy enough to do such a thing? To go against established Mandalorian custom and change something considered immutable and derive a different purpose? You guessed it. It was a Jedi. - From the personal diary of Countess Ursa Wren
"To be seen is to be loved." - Unknown
~ the call ~
Fenn Rau rapped three times on the heavy wooden door and waited, taking a few moments to marvel at the craftsmanship in its design. Most Mandalorian clans loved to imbue their castles or fortresses with the latest tech to showcase how impregnable their stronghold was to guests. But not Clan Wren - here they still stood on tradition and the old ways but not in a manner that stifled innovation. It had been some time now since he had arrived on Krownest in service to their matriarch and it felt more like a home than anything else he could remember in his life.
"Enter." The commanding voice of his benefactor, Countess Ursa Wren, recognizable even through the thick wood, still full of authority and steel even at this late hour.
With a grunt of effort, he pushed the door open and entered Ursa Wren's bedroom.
Fenn Rau would never confess out loud, but he did harbor a curiosity regarding Clan Wren's matriarch - especially considering Sabine's strained relationship with her. But after meeting the woman himself, he immediately understood where the younger Wren got her fiery resolve from. Both of them were more alike than either were willing to admit - an observation that Fenn Rau decided was wise to keep to himself after witnessing one of their arguments.
Glancing around the matriarch's bedroom, the veteran warrior noted that it seemed to match the woman's personality: it was spartan, utilitarian, with no room given for personal effects that would reveal anything about Ursa herself. The walls were painted a light, neutral green shade that seemed to be an attempt at instilling calmness or serenity in the room's occupant, but Fenn Rau instead found it somewhat nauseating to look at for too long.
Pressed up against the wall to his right was a simple bed with plain grey bedsheets, accompanied by a single lonely pillow that had been flattened due to years of use. To his surprise, the bed was unmade - the only sign of life in the otherwise sterile feeling room. It seems the Countess really was human after all, he thought, feeling amused.
Other than the bed there was a large arch window that overlooked Castle Wren's grounds; a bookcase filled with thick, leather-bound books with the titles written in ancient Mando'a worn away on the spines; a medium sized wooden closet that presumably held Ursa's armor and other sets of clothing; and the only other piece of furniture in the room - a small, round table that had a tiny, delicate vase containing a red rose sitting upon it. It was an oddly personal touch of beauty that immediately suggested to him that it was not placed there by Ursa's hand. Perhaps Sabine, he wondered.
Next to the table, sitting in a wide-backed chair with one leg crossed over the other was the Countess. Ursa wore casual sleep wear: a simple, form-fitting long sleeve shirt and pants that were the same slightly nauseating green as the bedroom's walls, complete with comfortable house shoes. Her hair still remained tied in a tight, professional bun, but she was casually scrolling through a data-pad, her sharp, intelligent eyes raking over the information being shown.
Fenn Rau waited for her to acknowledge him. Finally, after a few seconds of silence, she sighed and tossed the data-pad gently onto the table next to her. With a weariness rarely seen by him, Ursa hunched over and massaged at her temples, eyes closed in deep thought.
"Countess," he said, concerned. "Are you alright?"
Ursa straightened herself with a wince and fixed him (Fenn Rau charitably ignored the faint popping noises that emitted from her back as she did so) with a grim stare.
Tumblr media
(Pictured above: Ursa Wren contemplates her next move.)
Fenn Rau forced himself to stand upright against the weight of that intimidating stare.
A few tense seconds passed before Ursa finally relented, a small smile flickering over her face. "At ease, Rau," she said. "Just feeling the weight of my years."
"You're younger than me, Countess," he replied.
The smile grew. "Flatterer," she said.
"It's the truth."
She sighed. "Perhaps so," she said. "I suppose it's more to do with the mileage, rather than the actual number of years."
He nodded in understanding. Fenn Rau had his fair share of wear and tear from the long, hard years of life but by all accounts, Ursa Wren was far more accomplished and battle-worn in her early adulthood than he had ever been at that age.
And that was before she had become the leader of her clan. The stories he had heard about Ursa Wren over the years . . . well, it was enough to chill the blood of any Mandalorian.
"Is there anything I can do to assist you this evening?" he asked. "You did call for me."
"Yes," she answered. He suddenly caught a gleam of mischief in the woman's eyes that sent a spike of anxiety coursing through him.
"Fix my daughter's love life."
Out of all the requests she had ever given him, this was by far the craziest one yet.
Feeling somewhat unsteady on his feet, Fenn Rau asked, injecting a calm that he did not feel into his voice, "I beg your pardon, Countess?"
She gestured at the data-pad laying on the table. "More offers continue to come for my daughter's hand in marriage."
"Ah," he said. "I take it she's responding to them in her usual manner."
Ursa snorted. "Brief and colorful, as always. I'm somewhat proud."
Rau frowned. "You don't wish to see her married?"
"I wish to see her married, yes. Securing Clan Wren's future, especially in these precarious times, is among my top priorities."
"Then why - "
"Because," the Countess interrupted, "I would see her married to a suitable partner of her own choice."
He raised an eyebrow. "Wasn't your own marriage arranged, Countess?"
Ursa grinned. "Yes. By me. My parents threw a fit, of course, over my choice of Alrich. They had to save face somehow, insisting to the wider Mandalorian hierarchy that it was their doing."
Rau laughed. The Wren matriarch frowned at him. "What's so funny?"
"It's very . . . you, Countess."
"It should be," she responded. "I don't know how to be anyone else."
The data-pad suddenly chimed, indicating a new message. Ursa glanced at it and let out a soft groan.
"Another offer, I take it," observed Rau.
"Worse," muttered Ursa. "An invocation from three of the more insistent clans. They are demanding to invoke a Rite."
"Which clans?"
She checked the data-pad, eyes scanning the message. "Clan Eagan, Clan Cobel, and Clan Reghabi."
Fenn Rau grimaced. He had heard of these three - they were sharks in the water, smelling blood. They were ambitious, competent, and looking to claw their way up to the upper echelon of Mandalorian clan hierarchy. Outside of the larger war against the Empire, these three clans had been on the rampage, absorbing smaller clans under their respective umbrellas through back-door negotiations - or by force.
An invocation was a way for the smaller, less powerful families of Mandalore to force a response from the higher, elite clans. There always had to be at least three of them, Rau remembered.
Politically speaking, Ursa was in a bind. Yes, she could turn down the invocation, but it would weaken Clan Wren's stature in the eyes of Mandalorian society. Even during wartime, it could be a death knell. They were spread thin enough as it was and with the continued absence of Alrich - itself a weakening blow to the clan's political stature - their alliances were shaky at best.
It was only due to Ursa Wren's steely resolve that Clan Wren stayed ahead of their rivals, her efforts bolstered by her daughter's timely arrival with the legendary Darksaber.
However, there was a catch . . .
"You can still choose the Rite, if I remember correctly," he said. In the interests of fairness, the clan challenged could choose the manner of challenge.
"Yes," Ursa said, smugly. "And that is how I will settle this matter, once and for all."
His stomach sank. "You intend to go through with this?"
She shook her head. "I have no choice. Clan Wren can ill afford new enemies during this time. Desperate times, Rau."
Rau pursed his lips, thinking. Ursa eyed him. "Speak your mind," she prompted.
"You're playing games with your daughter's life, Countess," he pointed out - gently. "It's unlike you."
"Am I?" she asked, her voice whisper soft. A smile appeared on the matriarch's face - a surprisingly evil one, in fact.
He studied her, feeling the anxiety spike through him again. "I'm assuming you have plan for these games."
"Obviously," she replied. "I never would play games with my daughter's life."
Rau asked, "How do you intend to win?"
"How do you assure victory in anything?" she asked. "You rig it in your favor."
He considered Ursa's words. "That depends on the rite you choose. Which one will it be, Countess? The rite of woe, frolic, malice - or dread, perhaps?"
The evil smile grew wider. "I was thinking the Rite of Hearts."
He frowned. "I don't quite remember that one."
"I pose a question to the suitors," she answered. "How they answer will prove the winner of Sabine's hand in marriage."
He arched an incredulous eyebrow. "I remember now. It's not that simple. Isn't there a vote by each of the clans to declare the winner?"
The Countess laughed. "I don't intend to make it simple. You'll be helping me in that matter, Fenn Rau."
"I see." He really didn't but assumed that Ursa would explain later.
At least he hoped so. In her own way, the Wren matriarch was as unpredictable as her daughter.
"How do you intend to rig this in your favor?" he asked, changing the subject.
"Each of the clans will choose their suitor," Ursa explained. "I am allowed a choice, as well."
"Seems odd," he replied. "Regardless of the outcome, each of the clans will only vote for their own suitor."
"Unless they can be swayed to vote outside their own choice," Ursa corrected. "It can happen."
"I've never heard of it happening," he said. "Not in my lifetime."
She shrugged. "Depends on the candidate."
"Your candidate, you mean," he said. "Who would be brave enough to go along with this?"
She eyed him, the evil smile returning in full force.
A horrible thought occurred to him then: the image of a young man, piercing blue eyes, a scarred cheek, brandishing an emerald bladed lightsaber in the thick of combat.
"You can't be serious!"
"Deadly serious, Rau," Ursa confirmed. "He's the one."
Rau's mouth gaped open, his mind working furiously through the implications. "Countess - choosing him surely is against the rules?"
"I make the rules," she replied coldly. "It's my game now. We are at war - not just against the Empire but for my daughter's freedom. And that boy is my best bet against these sharks swirling around us."
He stared at her. It was a bold move indeed.
Rau didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Maybe when his wits caught up with him, he could decide on that later.
"Shall I make the call, then?" he asked her.
"Yes, if you please," responded Ursa. Her face turned serious. "Get me a secure channel to the Ghost. I suspect Hera Syndulla will still be awake at this hour."

~ the suitors ~
Three days later
This was the worst day of Sabine's life. She stood in the hallway outside the Wren throne room, awaiting the summons. It felt like she was going to her execution.
On the wall in front of her, Sabine studied the painting hanging there. A portrait of her mother, commissioned by her father, Alrich, as a gift for their wedding day. She initially started to do so as a way to distract herself from the feeling of impending doom but as the minutes passed Sabine came to appreciate the details her father put into the work.
A labor of love, he had called it. Even then, he would privately admit to his daughter later, it did not do his wife's beauty justice.
Tumblr media
(Pictured above: Alrich Wren's portrait of his wife, Ursa, given as a gift on their wedding day.)
"Feeling nervous?"
Sabine turned to find Fenn Rau, dressed in formal Mandalorian attire. A sleek, form fitting outfit that was militaristic in style, dyed in the traditional colors of Clan Wren. Sabine felt awkwardly out of place, wearing her customary beskar armor since she owned no dresses. It was hard to get any shopping done in the middle of an active war zone, she had come to learn.
Despite wearing his usual stoic expression, there was a glimmer of humor in Fenn Rau's eyes.
"I'm planning to vomit in front of everyone gathered in that throne room shortly," Sabine responded seriously.
He eyed her. "You don't trust your mother?" he asked.
"How can I trust her after this?" she asked. "She's bargaining away my freedom and - for what - a few meager alliances with some has-been clans?"
Rau's face became pained. "Sabine. If your mother thought this wasn't necessary, then you wouldn't be doing this. We are at war."
"We're always at war," she shot back. "Why now? These offers have been coming in since I got back a few months ago. She didn't seem to mind me turning them down then."
He sighed deeply. "Things change. Listen, Sabine - you know our resources and strength as well as she does. Tell me honestly that we do not need this."
Sabine bit her lip. She could not lie, not even to herself. Things were looking grim for Clan Wren. Even with the strength of the Darksaber backing up their clan, the Empire was everywhere with resources that far outstripped their own. And the Mandalorians were still scattered to the far reaches of the galaxy, hesitant to answer the call to take back their homeworld.
But still, she had hoped it would not come to this. Her mother had never been shy in expressing marriage as a viable future for Sabine, but Ursa had always been insistent that it would be her choice - and no one else's.
She thought of Ezra suddenly. The image of her best friend, far away on the Ghost or in the middle of some crucial mission for the Rebellion, brought a lump to her throat.
I miss you, goober, she thought miserably.
If it could have been my choice, Ezra . . .
She let that thought trail off, not daring to follow through with it. It was too late for that.
Far too late.
Duty calls.
Sabine came out of her reverie to find Fenn Rau looking at her with a surprisingly gentle expression. "You alright?" he asked.
"No," she said, her voice rough. "None of those people will ever love me the way I want. Nor will I ever love any of them."
Something almost like a smile tugged at the corner of his lips. She was immediately suspicious. "What is it?" she demanded.
He shrugged, the almost smile vanishing instantly. "Trust your mother, Sabine," he said again.
She opened her mouth to reply with a snarky answer - and then a horn resounded through the hallway.
It was time.
Sabine took a deep breath, looking up at the portrait of her mother one last time. Once upon a time, Ursa had to go through an arranged marriage set up by her own parents. But that had resulted in her marriage to Alrich, the love of her life.
It worked out for you, she thought bitterly. I doubt it will do so for me.
The doors to the throne room opened. Fenn Rau offered his arm, a formal gesture reserved for Mandalorian royalty. Sabine took it gratefully and let him lead her out.
Sitting on her throne was Ursa, dressed in a sleek silver gown, similar to the one depicted in the portrait Sabine had just been studying. Her mother's eyes watched her carefully, flashing coldly in a warning that only her daughter would pick up on: Behave.
It took every fiber of restraint not to dash out of the room right then and there, but Sabine did it. Her clan was at stake.
This is the right thing to do, isn't it Ezra?
But her best friend was not here to console her. Sabine wondered if she would ever see him again after this.
They reached the center of the room, Ursa behind them on her throne, and faced the candidates from the different clans.
The three suitors were hidden beneath shimmer-silk cloaks, bequeathed to only the most important guests. Behind them were the clan heads, she assumed, also wearing cloaks to hide their faces. The introductions would begin shortly, each candidate and their sponsor lowering their hoods to reveal their faces.
Fun, fun, fun, Sabine thought. I might really puke from all this fun I'm having.
"Welcome," boomed Ursa's voice from behind her. "Welcome, honored guests, to Krownest and Clan Wren."
The three hooded clan heads responded in unison. "We seek an invocation, Countess Wren."
Sabine glanced behind her to see Ursa nodding in acknowledgement. "I accept this invocation."
They spoke again. "What rite would you ask of us?"
"The Rite of Hearts," Ursa said calmly.
There was a pause. The hooded clan members exchanged hidden looks with one another; Sabine caught some murmurs of surprise being whispered.
"I take it they're not happy about that choice," she whispered to Rau.
He shook his head, cutting off any further commentary from her. "Just watch."
But she caught that almost smile from him again. She's planning something, Sabine thought. Fenn Rau knows about it.
A small flicker of hope began to quietly burn inside her. It wasn't much, but she clung to it.
What are you planning, mother?
"We accept, oh gracious Countess," came the unified reply, albeit a tad reluctantly. Sabine got a sense of satisfaction from hearing it.
"Good to hear," Ursa said cheerfully. "You are all gathered here today to contest for my daughter's hand in the hereby declared Rite of Hearts. Are there any other challengers that wish to make themselves known?"
The front doors to the throne room blew open in a frigid gale of bitter wind. A person stood there, dressed in a humble hooded cloak of brown homespun wool. They were just a dark silhouette against the frozen tundra in the backdrop, unrecognizable - but Sabine caught a flash of their eyes beneath the hood.
Familiar, piercing blue eyes.
Sabine felt her pulse spike. It can't be.
The figure stalked forward, only to be met by a pair of Krownest guards, brandishing their pikes threateningly in his direction. He paused before them.
Ursa's command cut through the air. "Wait."
The guards stilled their approach but kept their weapons pointed at the new guest.
"Who are you to interrupt these proceedings?" she asked.
"A challenger," came the reply. "As you called for, I am here to make myself known."
Ursa arched an imperious eyebrow. "You wish to challenge against these others for my daughter's hand?"
"I do."
She stared at him for a few tense seconds - and then Sabine caught a smirk flashing across her mother's face for the briefest of moments.
"Very well," Ursa said. "I accept your challenge. I will be your sponsor, as is my right."
The clan heads snapped their hooded faces towards Ursa in shock and anger but didn't dare to raise a complaint. This was, after all, her house. They would obey her rules - or face the consequences.
The guards removed their weapons and went back to their posts. Fenn Rau hurried forward to close the front doors before returning back to Sabine's side. The guest stepped forward and took their place awkwardly next to the other suitors.
They glared at him. He gave a little polite wave only to be met with more glare.
"Seeing as though you came in such a dramatic fashion," Ursa continued calmly. "Why don't you introduce yourself first?"
There was a pause. "Oh, I'm supposed to do that now?" asked the guest.
Sabine stared at him - and then at Fenn Rau.
He shrugged. "Desperate times," he said quietly, in answer to her look.
"Yes," replied Ursa, sounding annoyed. "Unless you're waiting for something else?"
"Oh, uh. No. I guess I'll do that," he replied nervously.
And the guest carefully lowered the hood of his cloak.
There, in the throne room, presenting himself as a challenger for her hand in marriage was Sabine's best friend, Ezra Bridger.
"Hi, everyone," he said in greeting. Ezra caught Sabine's stare and gave her a sheepish smile. "I'm Ezra Bridger. A Jedi. And, uh, Sabine's friend."
The silence in the air was thick enough to cut with a knife.
Sabine took a shaky step forward. Then another one.
Towards Ezra.
"You," she breathed. "It's you."
"Hey, Sabine," he said. "It's been a while - gah!"
She tackled him to the ground.
"Are you an idiot?!" she yelled, grabbing the front of his cloak and shaking Ezra. "Do you know what you've just agreed to, di'kut? Do you have some sort of death wish - "
"If you would just let me explain - glack!"
"Guards!" barked Ursa.
From behind her, Fenn Rau sighed deeply. "All according to plan, I suppose," Sabine heard him mutter, before the guards came to pull her away.

Do you remember a story where stiles was Derek’s person it was like role reversal or something it was on a rec list but tumblr lost it to the eather. Ty it’s driving me crazy trying to find it. I need to start screen shotting rec lists so this won’t happen again 🙄
Like bodyswap? There are quite a few but maybe it's one of these.
Your Body’s My Body by  derekstilinski | 10K
Derek and Stiles get body swapped… Interesting things happen.
Fuzzy Logic by  Sparseparsley | 6.5K
Derek and Stiles switch bodies because of wizard reasons and Stiles just wants to know what that awesome scent is.
i feel you in every heartbeat by  warlocks | 4K
The AU in which, on their 22nd birthday, a person will switch bodies with their soulmate and is left to figure out whom they’re temporarily inhabiting, and how to get back to each other. But because Stiles is Stiles, he forgets that it’s his birthday, and the bodyswap takes him by surprise.
Might Not Make It Back by GotTheSilver | 23.3K | Explicit
Witches. Fucking witches. Stiles was never going to get along with them. Never. Whatever spooky powers Deaton kept alleging he had, kept training him to recognise, witches and Stiles were never going to work in combination. They were oil and water, Scott and an AP class, Lydia and a thrift store. Witches and Stiles were just. No Stiles is mouthy and witches don’t like that, apparently. And, yes, okay, the fact that Stiles is now inhabiting Derek’s body because of a witch possibly has something to do with Stiles’ feelings.
But Moses Supposes Erroneously by  blue_fjords | 21.9K
The Beacon Hills Community Players are putting on “Singin’ in the Rain” and everyone’s trying out. It’s… nice, singing and dancing during a lull in the werewolf action. Complications arise, however, when Derek is introduced as the choreographer and a trickster decides to interfere in the Stilinski men’s somewhat strained relationship.
Two Sides of the Same Mirror by  p1013 | 7.7K
Stiles doesn’t like going to the antiques store so much as he recognizes that it’s something he needs to do periodically. Every once in awhile, though, he’ll find something interesting. A Scientific Study of the Metaphysical Properties of Common Herbs was particularly useful, which he’d found tucked behind another copy of The Lord Of The Rings and some Nora Roberts junk.
Right now, he’s thumbing through a brown and cracked copy of The Werwolfe, or, The Baleful Beast.
In Your Shoes by  yodasyoyo | 3.8K
Sure, Derek’s apartment is kind of spartan and lacking in essentials, like nutritious food, and a decent mattress, and primary colors, but the Camaro more than makes up for it.
Trust Fall by Stoney | 144.2K | Explicit
Stiles is fairly certain that a case could be made for every bad thing in his life coming back to Peter Hale. This time it’s pissing off a powerful witch, who retaliated by swapping Stiles and Derek a la Freaky Friday, because sure. That makes sense. Um, there are GPAs on the line, not to mention the whole thing where his dad wants to shoot Derek on sight. Except who he sees as Derek is actually Stiles, and Stiles did not sign up for filicide.
Great. Wait…does this mean he’s the Alpha until they figure this out? Holy. Shit.

Hi, hope you’re having a good day/night. I was wondering if you could write a Tristan liones x reader who is Lancelot’s sibling
𖤹 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐎𝐟𝐟
Tumblr media
Sypnosis [Moments a-bloom when it comes to the three since childhood, the memories certainly hold a rarity of precious moments.]
Characters [Tristan Liones, Lancelot]
Note || certainly! wrote something sweet, poor Tristan carries a heck lotta of guilt. So I sorta focused it around that.
Tumblr media
You and Tristan have a playful yet competitive, gentle relationship. Ever since childhood, you've always found ways to one-up each other—whether in training or in mischievous pranks (sometimes your brother teams up with you when it came to playing pranks, mostly harmless though). But it’s always been friendly, even if both of you secretly want to prove who’s the best. Lancelot on occasion asks to spar with Tristan, seeing how good of a match he is for you, because in a way — he wants to be sure you’re safe with him.
Tristan is very protective of you, especially after the accident with Lancelot. He feels an immense sense of guilt and is constantly making sure you're safe, even if it means being overbearing at times. Even despite your brother’s insistence at the time that he was fine and wanted to keep going, you were also very worried.
Your bond with Tristan is stronger than anyone realizes. You two don't need words to communicate during battles—you’ve fought side by side for so long that a single glance is enough to know what the other is thinking.
Unlike Tristan, who is driven by emotion and intense ideals, you are often the more level-headed one in certain situations; in a way akin to how Lancelot can help Tristan. You have a calming influence on him, especially when he starts getting lost in his guilt over his Demon powers or his rivalry with Lancelot.
Despite his usual exterior as a prince, Tristan has a soft spot for you. Whenever you’re feeling down or exhausted, he’ll show his affection in subtle ways, like brushing your hair out of your face or bringing you your favorite tea.
When Lancelot had his sudden disappearance, Tristan confides in you more than anyone. He admits that he feels lost without his presence and doesn't know how to deal with the void left behind, especially after everything that happened between them. It was quite a thing to work through in the time that it occurred, but it had eased up on him from your understanding. Though you weren’t sure that even now if he was capable of amending his relationship with your brother, however, you couldn’t help but feel lost without him as well. It quite a change to experience.
Like you, Tristan often struggles with his complicated relationship with Meliodas. While Tristan is proud of his father's heroism, he's also frustrated by his dad’s reckless behavior. You both have long, heartfelt talks about how difficult it is to live up to the expectations placed upon you by your parents. While you had a decent understanding of what your own father and mother expect from you yourself, you couldn’t really help the thought that you could do more instead of disappointing them.
While you keep your emotions in check, Tristan sometimes loses his temper when he feels helpless. He can get frustrated when his own powers get out of control, and you'll often be the one to help him calm down, you are usually the only other person capable of snapping him back to reality.
In moments of extreme tension during a fight, you can be found standing beside Tristan, your hand on his shoulder, grounding him. He doesn’t say it, but it’s your presence that brings him an extreme comfort that allows him to breathe easier and better focus on the battle ahead.
Though Tristan and Lancelot have a somewhat strained relationship, he does envy the bond you share with your sibling. He finds it hard not to feel a little jealous when Lancelot shows you more affection than he does. This jealousy is often internalized, but you know it’s there. You do try your best to alleviate the circumstances in which they do have a genuine dispute, but you really aren’t sure on what you can do to help those two.
Tristan prefers training with you over most people. Whether it's practicing sword fighting or honing his magical abilities, he feels more at ease when you’re his sparring partner.
While Tristan wants to become a hero like his father, you dream of building your own legacy. You believe in a kind of heroism that’s quiet and steady, rather than one defined by legendary acts. Tristan admires this about you, even if he can’t quite understand it.
There was a night where Tristan finally admits his fear of his Demon powers to you. He feels as if he might never be able to escape them, but you reassure him that he's not defined by them, and you’ll always be there to help him fight the darkness within. Though, you can understand why he seemed so hesitant to call on his demon abilities.
Whenever Tristan starts to doubt his abilities or worth, you’re always there to gently remind him that he has already accomplished so much. He tends to brush off compliments, but deep down, he treasures every word.
You and Tristan share a deep bond over the stories his mother, Elizabeth, has told you about her own struggles with her powers. You often find comfort in talking about Elizabeth’s compassion and resolve, something Tristan clings to when his own doubts creep in. Because of that, you had a better understanding of why he praises his mother so deeply.
Tristan admires your strength, both physical and emotional. He has always respected how you handle yourself in difficult situations, especially given the pressures of being Lancelot’s sibling. You’ve always known your brother to be quite capable but there were also the problems in which it was possible that you could be used against Lancelot, as you weren’t easily barred in strength was he was.
On quiet nights, Tristan might find himself beside you, both of you just sitting in silence, offering each other comfort without needing to say anything. Sometimes, that’s all he needs.
Tristan loves sparring with you, though it’s usually a friendly competition. You both have a similar fighting style, him mixing both divine and demon powers, and you challenge each other to grow stronger.
Despite the weight of his responsibilities, Tristan enjoys laughing with you. You both have a dark sense of humor, often finding joy in moments where others might see only danger or despair. It creates quite a few oddities in which you both had questioned why you get the few odd looks here and there.
Though he often expresses discomfort around people using their powers recklessly, Tristan becomes very defensive when it comes to you. He won’t hesitate to protect you, even at the risk of his own life.
Tristan has always admired your resilience. He sees how strong you are in ways that he sometimes feels he lacks. This admiration grows every time he witnesses you fighting for the people you care about.
When you're not training or dealing with battles, Tristan enjoys discussing the history of Liones and its knights with you. He values your opinions and finds it refreshing to talk about something that isn't related to combat or leadership.
Although Tristan is now older, he often finds himself learning from you, especially in terms of managing emotions. Your ability to navigate the complex relationships around you is something he greatly admires.
The sun had began its descent over the horizon of Liones, leaving the watchers to scuffle about to get to the warmth of their homes. Clouds painted over by the hues of pink and gold, casting the golden light of warmth, which had reflected the protection of the goddess powers he inherited from his mother. The evening breeze carried the scent of petrichor, as it had indeed rained a few minutes prior, leaving the ground of which he walked upon to be wet. It was peaceful---almost too peaceful for Tristan. His gaze was locked on the horizon, innermost corners of which the brightest rays of the sun was leaving the ever-expanding sky, his thoughts were almost as distant. Like the setting sun.
You approached the prince quietly, carrying a waver of hesitance in not wanting to disturb him at first. But when you saw the furrow in his brow, the tightness in his shoulders, you were fully aware he wasn't at all eased.
"Tristan," You spoke softly, your voice finally breaking the silence in which he was descending an incessant pit of thoughts. A negative thing you had come to learn over the years as, you didn't want to rush him though.
He craned his head slightly, a faint glimmer of recognition in his two-toned eyes. His right was the serene blue of his mother Elizabeth; which contrasted highly in comparison to his left, the deep emerald of his father, Meliodas. You had come to deeply recognize how unpredictable he can be, which reflected greatly in Tristan himself. While the prince was easily someone you've come to predict, he had his moments of unpredictability. Though they were calm now, you knew the internal storm they often mirrored was never far from the fissures of the surface.
"You should be resting." He said, his tone firm within his usual calm demeanor, though the note in his voice could tip it off to you. The weariness wasn't only from fatigue. "There's nothing for you to worry about." He adds, speaking your name within a gentler tone.
You stepped closer, almost daring for him to try you as you crossed the distance between the both of you and sitting your place beside him on the stone balcony, eyes following his. You sang, the inflection ringing commonplace in his ears; "Im familiar with that kind of tone, Tristan. You've been carrying that heavy burden, you can't seem to let go of it again, hm?"
His lips pressed into a thin line, returning his gaze straight ahead, as if looking for something that truly wasn't there. "It's not about the kingdom, its..." He trailed off, and you could feel the unspoken words hanging in the air between you. "It's about my powers, I suppose."
The weight of the words wasn't lost on you. You both knew the struggle far too well---the very essence of his demonic powers, the part of him he both feared and resented. While you were aware he held his father in high regard, he held a sense of regret for inheriting his father's abilities. It was a constant battle stirring within him, one that had only grown heavier with each and every passing day, starting right where he had injured Lancelot back then.
Since the battle with Arthur, King of Chaos, he felt himself useless. He wasn't able to get out of the dark place that his demon abilities chained him down in.
"You can't keep blaming yourself," You said tender-hearted, your voice soft but firm. "Lancelot forgave you long ago. He trusts you, as you would him."
Tristan's fingers twitched at his side, the muscles in his jaw tensing. He didn't look at you, but you could see the inner turmoil written far and clear and his face. "It's not just about him. I hurt him because of my own weakness, and yet again he had to step in." He begins, "Because I can't control it. I can't control me." He finally turned to you, and his gaze was filled with a mix of frustration and sorrow. "What if I lose control again? What if I hurt someone else?"
You reached out and placed a hand on his arm, grounding him, offer the means of a silent support that words alone couldn't convey. "Tristan," You began, "You aren't your power. Yes, it's part of you, but it will never define you. You've chosen the path of peace and I too believe it. You are far stronger than you think yourself to be."
He exhaled a long breath, the tension in his shoulders easing just a fraction as your words sank in. "I know I should trust myself more," He admits, the hint of vulnerability he hides behind his usual mask now clear. "But it's hard. I don't want to hurt anyone. Especially not you, Lancelot or anyone else that I care about."
You gave a small, reassuring smile, squeezing his arm gently. "We're all here for you, Tristan. You don't have to bear the weight alone. Not now, not ever."
It was odd, while you weren't necessarily the best with words as often as you wanted to be. The words felt as if they came easier than ever when it came to Tristan, oddly enough.
It was nice.
There was a long silence between the two of you, and for a moment, it felt like the world had stopped spinning on its axis. It was just the two of you, together in the calm after the storm. Despite everything--the war, the trials, the fears--it was here, in this moment, that you could truly feel the reaches of the bond with him, unwavering and steady.
"I'm not as strong as you think," He said quietly, his gaze dropping to the ground as if in deep thought. "But... maybe I don't always need to be. It's hard, of course, but I could trust others too and including you." He grins with a weak chuckle, almost in embarrassment.
You only smiled, a little brighter than previously. "You're strong then you realize, I admit that I have a problem with it too, but it doesn't hurt to have more confidence---More then anyone else Tristan, I trust you."
His gaze softened at your words, and for a fleeting moment, he looked... at peace. It was a rarity, but you had always known that Tristan's inherent strength had always laid in his heart, and you had come to realize. That he just simply cares, he just needs some help in showing it better.
After a long pause, Tristan's lips curled into a small sincere smile. "Thanks, I- actually needed that, and for being here." He also adds.
You nodded, somewhat feeling alleviated within your heart, the strings now pulling a soft melody. You could feel the way the warmth of the moment had settled around you both, "Always."
As the last rays of sunlight dissipated into the depths below, you and Tristan fell into a comfortable silence. Both easier in the being, that no matter what, it was the courage and humanity that helped you both along despite any and all challenges you may face.
And for the first time in a long while, Tristan didn't feel the crushing weight of his power.
With you beside him, he felt like he could finally breathe again.

Hello! I want to ask you about Shattered Glass God Sparkling au.
what is the relationship between Bee and his parents in this version? How does he get to Cybertron? How will his parents react to his situation? On his partners?
If it make you uncomfortable, sorry.
(I'll write that second time, but the first is laging, so yes) (Sorry if It hard to read, English is not mine own language)
Hi! No worries, Tumblr has a tendency to lag when sending asks sometimes.
An AU version of my AU, that's a first. Well, I like to imagine the roles are swapped even for gods; so Unicron is the good guy while Primus is the bad one. Unicron is still energetic as ever but he uses that energy and positivity to make good stuff happen, Primus on the other hand is more of an iron-fist ruler. Bee is a complete opposite of all of them; he's shy, quiet, a coward and a follower.
Now, you would think that means they don't like him- wrong. They love him just as much, in their own wicked ways. They are mesed up but they would do anything to keep their sparkling safe.
Even so it doesn't mean he can't get into arguments with his parents. Primus wanted him to climb the career ladder so he can one day influence Cybertron like he does. Instead Bee became a disappointment by failing and getting thrown into the lowest ranking job ever. To say the least, Bee hasn't answered any of Primus' calls since then.
After the team crashed on earth, he thought he'd finally have some peace to himself but nope- the moment he woke up he got bombarded with questions and concerns from Unicron (since he was on his planet n all). Bee also argued with him to leave him alone, after a while tho they decided to speak again and with Unicron's pushy attitude to know what's wrong Bee told him what happened. Of course Unicron was livid and threw hands with Primus the first chance he got, nonetheless he was there to support his bitty every step of the way.
In the original AU, the gods could manifest an avatar to interact with mortals. In Shattered Glass version, it's nearly impossible for them to do so- Primus has forged the Allspark to manifest a piece of his power in the real world, which also acted as a barrier that unabled any more celestial deities from manifesting there. Unicron is the only one who can somewhat bend that barrier and allow himself to talk to others via electronics. Other than that, their voices are only heard by Bumblebee in his helm.
As much as Unicron was trying to look out for Bee, he had a tendency to get busy/distracted therefore some of his check up visits were very much delayed to the point of it being another check up's date. I would say that in the meantime of that happening, a lot has happened for Bee; when Sentinel came to check up on the group, Bee had a forced talk with Primus. Primus apologised of course but he was still a bit disappointed. Then Decepticons arrived and Bee got in trouble for interacting with them.
The next time Unicron checked up on Bee, the bitty was pissed. Unicron said he'd be there for him and he never was. It took a long while for him to fix that mistake but even then their relations were a bit strained just like with Primus.
As for the relationships;
When Bee was together with Prowl, Unicron tried to warn him about the manipulation but Bee refused to believe it. He regretted being so foolish after he was rescued.
When Unicron learned about Bee being in a love triangle with Shockwave and Blitzwing he was elated to know his bitty is finally getting the overdue love he deserved. He supported them all the way, he miiight have pushed it a little too far with asking for grandlings that one time but he's still happy for Bee, regardless of what they'll plan.
Primus didn't know about anything until after the fact Bee was in a loving relationship. Bee never told him anything about his personal stuff in their rare talks, he didn't want his sire to spoil it all by saying it's not important. He got to accepting their bitlet's situation eventually and he's glad Bee was happy but deep down he still yearns for the plan he originally had for him.
I suppose that's all. I like the idea of them trying to be somewhat good parents but it doesn't go they way they want it half the time. Hope you enjoyed!
And yes, the love triangle is now canon to the AU, cuz why not.

Elboron's Birth
Elboron is the only named child of Eowyn and Faramir, and because of that I tend to headcanon him as their only child.
I imagine Eowyn struggling a great deal with pregnancy. The limitations on her body and the hormones puts a great strain on her mental health.
Eowyn actually has a subconcious terror of death in childbirth, because as part of Wormtongue's grooming, he planted ideas and suggestions in Eowyn's head of her family being told they must choose between saving her or saving the child, and for the sake of the bloodline, they choose to save the child.
She's actually had nightmares of this exact scenario, planted there by Grima, that she doesn't recall fully in the day, but leave her with a lingering dread and distrust of those around her during her pregnancy.
Faramir would never allow such a thing (nor would Eomer or anyone else), and the standard practise in Gondor is always save the mother first, but the unspoken terror that Eowyn can't quite articulate takes its toll on her and her relationships.
Elboron's birth is difficult, with Eowyn nearly dying at one poin. She is told that it is unlikely she will ever have another child, and Eowyn thinks she's a bad person for being relieved.
Eowyn's recovery takes a long time, and she is stuck on bed rest for weeks. Even once she's allowed out of bed, her strength has diminished and it takes a long time building it back up.
She hates how even now her body still isn't her own, and finds it difficult to bond with Elboron immediately, whereas Faramir takes to fatherhood right away. This causes Eowyn a great deal of shame and further unhappiness.
Theoretically she knows Elboron is her son, and that she loves him, but she doesn't feel it. Her feelings towards motherhood are dominated by her experiences with pregnancy and childbirth, and her shame that she cannot feel an instant affection for her son.
She ends up resenting Elboron because she liked it being Faramir & Eowyn as a unit, and now suddenly there's this child taking up time and attention. And because she can't bond with him like Faramir does, she feels excluded in her own family, a sensation she's very vulnerable to.
Eomer arrives at Emyn Arnen shortly before or after the birth, and adores his new sister-son. This doesn't help, and Eowyn feels herself supplanted not only in Faramir's heart but also in Eomer's. Once more, her male kin folk have created a unit and shut her out.
Everyone is delighted with the Steward's new son and heir, and great celebrations are held, while Eowyn can barely get out of bed. More and more she feels like a vessel for the Prince of Ithilien's heirs, who can be forgotten and discarded now that she has fulfilled her purpose.
Eowyn's family can tell she is struggling. They try to cheer her up by assuring her that she will be out of bed soon, and by talking about how wonderful Elboron is. This is rather the opposite of what Eowyn needs to hear, but she can't possibly say such a thing, because what sort of mother doesn't want to talk about her own son? What sort of mother doesn't allow her whole existence to revolve around her son?
(What sort of mother regrets becoming a mother at all?)
Eowyn is slightly comforted when she tells the midwife a little of what she is feeling, who tells Eowyn that many, many mothers struggle to bond with their child right away, and that Eowyn's exhaustion and unhappiness is very common after the travails of childbirth. This eases some of Eowyn's shame, and she's able to confide in Faramir and Eomer a little more, allowing them to help her feel not quite so neglected.
Faramir is somewhat concerned at Eowyn admitting her own lack of interest in their child, remembering his own strained relationship with his father, but he abides by the midwife's instructions to allow Eowyn to bond with their child in her own time.
Once Eowyn has recovered her strength enough for her to start going about her former duties and interests, herblore, settling law and land disputes, training horses, and she is reminded of who she is beyond Elboron's mother, once she is treated as someone other than Elboron's mother, she starts to recover her own sense of self.
Eowyn and Faramir's duties have the pair working together and mixing together away from the nursery, allowing Eowyn to feel like they are a partnership again.
As Elboron grows more active and starts forming more of a personality, Eowyn takes a greater interest in him, and finds it easier to grow close to him. He's a very bold, curious child, which Eowyn finds enchanting.
According to customs of the Mark, Eowyn has him riding with her before he can even walk. Riding with him in a satchel across her chest is the first time Eowyn is really struck with that fierce, maternal love everyone had promised her. Before that moment, Elboron seemed more like a vaguely sweet and amusing child who now lived in her house. Now he felt like her son.
Eowyn is able to form her own bond with Elboron, as well as entering into a family unit with Elboron and Faramir, and retaining a partnership with Faramir, and an identity of her own through her work and her passions.
The first time Eowyn joins an orc hunt and returns with an orc head on her spear is really bloody cathartic, for sure, and she returns laughing, feeling completely herself at last.
As Elboron grows, Faramir is the more present of the two parents. His emotional intelligence and innate gentleness means he is ideal for working out the needs of a child, and in time, a young man. He takes a more active hand in arranging Elboron's upbringing, and most of the decisions made for Elboron are made by Faramir.
Eowyn is happy to let Faramir take a lead in Elboron's upbringing, but when she insists on something, or feels strongly about some decision or other, they work it out like equals. Eowyn is also very pro-active in passing down the customs of her homeland to Elboron, and Elboron grows up with a very strong sense of his identity as a child of the Mark, as well as of Gondor.
If Faramir is the parent Elboron goes to, or is sent to, when he needs to talk, then Eowyn is the one he goes to when he needs not to talk.
Sometimes if Elboron is angry, or throwing a tantrum or frustrated about something, and Faramir is struggling to talk him through it, Eowyn will say "right, stables" or "you're coming to the stillroom", and she will set him some simply, physical task, such as cleaning tack, watering plants, cleaning potion flasks or weeding a flower bed. She will work beside him, but at a distance, and give him the chance to cool off.
Eowyn knows this works because this is what Theodred did when she got into a state as a child.
Eowyn is also the one who will burst into Elboron's schoolroom and declare that he is riding with her today, or assisting her in some official business regarding the villagers, or checking out some plants growing in the forests. They always justify these adventures by telling Faramir what Elboron learned on them.
Faramir does sometimes mourn that they never gave Elboron a younger brother, or that he never had a daughter, whom he would have doted on, but he does not grieve overmuch and mostly takes joy in his family as it is. Eowyn cannot develop feelings for a child that doesn't yet exist and never will, and quite frankly she is relieved that she will never have another child. Pregnancy was a horror, and there's no guarantee she will like her next child as much as she does Elboron.
