i think what made me ahhhhh abt charlies portrayal on mh was how real it is…i have read the books but i’ve always felt that tv tends to dramatise these moments. i feel like i was expecting charlie to be crying breaking down heavily or whatever but its all so somber and quiet with the battle genuinely happening in charlie’s head except for small moments where he snapped which then just makes him feel even more worse abt himself

I think the most seen I've ever felt from Heartstopper isn't any of the representation of the different characters' sexualities or genders, but rather the very specific moment in s3 when the girls are hanging out with Nick and when Elle says he doesn't have to share if he doesn't want to, Imogen goes "what? Yes he does, tell us everything!"

That is me. I am that friend. You must tell me everything and I will be so hyped about it and gagged for you because I love you.

I love Imogen so much, she's been my fav character since s1.

honestly i hold a bit of fear that if c3 does end in a tpk/mass death, then people who love the bells will forever hate it for being "unfair" when the narrative has been threaded so it would work if they lived but definitely work if they all died. i think c3 has been a tragedy from the beginning, and anyone watching it who has genuinely hinged on them all living, with no appreciation in their hearts for the angst of foreshadowing (via their parralels to the ring of brass, their own bad decisions & hesitancy, etc), is watching the wrong show. seeing people say arcanes ending sucked because the insanely obvious doomed sister narrative doomed the sisters relationship has not given me hope that actual tragedy enjoyers are engaging with tragic media. i have sympathy for people attached to the bells and i do above-meta want them to find contentment. but i think a rogue one kind of ending would work incredibly well for them and i just want folk to be normal about it if it did come to pass.
