one thing about me is that when faced with something I don’t like, i’ll do it. Especially if there’s a reward at the end of the task. I’ll complain afterwards, but it’ll still get done and if i’m working with others, they will not sense how I feel bc I will mask it into superhell.

Brother rly went "so yeah about that beer :)" immediately followed by implying he had (and still has) to beat at least a couple of people to maintain his position in Civil Protection. Really creates way more questions than it answers. What did u do Barney Calhoun. Is beating people up all it takes? Is there innocent blood on his hands? Is there weight on his conscience? Despite everything, did he still partake in the perks the position offered, the better housing, the extra food? How trusted is he in the resistance, really? It's probably well known that he still has to participate in the Combine's oppressive system, right? They can't all possibly view it as a completely necessary evil.
I mean, some rebels hate Odessa Cubbage and his only crime seems
to be "being an idiot".
Okay completely unrelated train of thought now but I wonder if he smuggles the melons Kleiner feeds to Lamarr. You can see some watermelons in a Civil Protection outpost/apartment so I assume that's one of the "better" foods the Combine provide to those that serve them. Goddd there's so much to this guy but it's all implication.. Wish he had more screentiiiiiiime I wanna see more of him. I wanna see what he's had to do to maintain cover, and what he's actually done to earn the Resistance's trust. How do the rebels feel, knowing that while they have to take shelter in the canal system, he's able to sleep in an actual apartment with an intact door?

When the interviewer asked when we should expect s5 to be coming out, that’s when Shawn mentioned that a little bit of an answer to that might be out there soon.
He actually mentions that this answer could be out by the time the video for this interview comes out, and since this interview was filmed mid-May and it’s now mid-June, I’m assuming we could be getting something soon or within the next couple months, potentially about a release date aka possibly a small teaser with 2025 stamped at the end…

i love having a snzfucker girlfriend so much she makes me feel so attractive and special in moments that i’ve normally been made to feel gross and embarrassed and small, like i should be ashamed of things i can’t control.
not only does she treat me with kindness and patience when i’m having a horrible allergy attack and can do nothing but sniffle and sneeze, she makes me feel pretty and worth loving and even sexy and it’s so special and i’m never going to get used to it

hrnnnng your art style is beautiful and oh gosh I love how you draw ponies so much 😭😭 do you have more of your next gen designs? Or hypothetical children for the mane six? I'd love to see a sunburst (probably misspelled his name haha) and twilight fanchild. Like I'm just saying if I could eat art I would consume the crap out of yours
i actually have TWO twiburst kids! ☺️ i decided to do some doodles real quick because I haven't drawn them in a LONGGG time so take these as hypothetical redesigns for them haha
I'll talk some more about them below!
this is artemis, he is a massive nerd and strong magic user just like his parents. he is a renowned author who specializes in magic research and is occasionally tutored by the now retired celestia!
and this is his sister dream weaver, she specializes in interpreting and understanding dreams, something that the now retired luna lends a hoof in!
these two are my most fleshed out next gens, i have a couple other random underdeveloped next gen families but they're VERY old and need a redo, but if you're curious they're all posted on my deviantart account!

one thing running @riordanverse-ship-polls has gotten me thinking about is that the fandom should bring back a lot of old ships that got dropped. Just to mix things up and add some more variety into the fandom again. The community used to have a lot of really interesting and really varied ships but now most of the stuff you see is canon and maybe a couple of leftover things from that time or some rarepairs and that's it (and a lot of weird aggression towards people who diverge from canon ships at all). Half the major characters don't even have prominent alternative ships to canon these days. Like, did you know Hazel/Piper used to be a decently popular ship? When was the last time you saw Hazel/Piper stuff? Probably never if you're a newer fan.
anyways we could really stand to have more variety. together we can bring back variety. the fandom needs to get weirder again. like cmon we've got some new characters let's thing of some new combos.

Why can't Chester fly and are your other birds able to fly? I don't know a lot about birds sorry
A lot of larger parrots in captivity can’t fly because they were never given the opportunity to and they’re also lacking the proper muscle. With smaller birds it tends to be easier for them to relearn that skill because it requires so little for them to get lift.
Chester knows to flap his wings to fly, but before I got him he spent many many years locked in a tiny cage full time. So if he tries to fly he can’t get any lift, it just sort of allows him to fall more gracefully. He can do a really cool maneuver though where he runs along the floor and flaps his wings and he can get moving fast, he just doesn’t get off the ground.
Joey on the other hand doesn’t get the flying thing at all. He never tries to, and if he does get startled and jump off his cage or his perch he just plummets. Doesn’t even bother flapping his wings once. I feel like he probably never knew how to fly in the first place. I would guess it’s due to never having enough space / possibly always having his wings trimmed.
The lovebirds can fly though. They’ve been in a cage large enough to allow them to fly a little so they haven’t lost that muscle definition. And then like I said before, it takes a lot less for tiny birds to fly. We’ve had people come in and their lovebird / budgie / (insert other tiny bird here) is able to fly with literally one or two flight feathers on each side.

I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m Irish and used to seeing all sorts of haha jokes about how weird our names are etc but yet I’m always surprised how surprised people are when I say that I find Welsh a pretty easy language to get the gist of. It makes sense! Welsh is something I know very little of but yet I find it easy enough to parse out the pronunciation of. I don’t always know what things mean but I’m not usually that far off in how they should be said.
