I did this today

So it’s been an idea in my head to make action pictures of the main characters. Specifically it was supposed to be like the cards in game, but not those poses and also hopefully with magic. But that didn’t end up panning out when I drew Menos here

But I actually am kind of proud of how this turned out

I’d say the head shape itself is probably the part I like the least, as it looks a bit funky comparatively, but maybe that’s just me? And that’s also how I draw heads, so I don’t really know how much I need to change things. The broken horn also isn’t super great, but eh, what you gonna do

I originally didn’t have a setting in mind when I made this, only making one when I realized I needed shading and wanted to try having a consistent light source. So now this pose is set in the ancient Magi Lab when you confront Magus (and I had to go through my own posts to try and find a reference for it)

Despite that, it honestly works pretty well with the scene

I also ended up making this with his dialogue in that scene while writing this. The lines probably take up too much space, considering the drawing was made without the idea that they would be there, but it looks kind of cool I think. It was meant to sort of replicate the in-game cutscene style

I was having a lot of trouble with the neck chain (as usual), and then posing with the arms/hands, but I was able to get some help on the latter, and the former ended up sort of working itself out once I went to do other parts of the sketch

Honestly I don’t really have much else to say in terms of the drawing. I feel like I should have more to say on the post in general, but I don’t know what. I made it to practice the characters, and also because I was upset about doing terrible on a Latin quiz this morning, not for any character related reasons

But hopefully this can lead to me drawing Menos better in the future? We’ll see

Siblings Behavior

It's shenanigans time guys

So have this DpxDc idea.

So, the Justice League and the Light (OR villains in general) have two newish members, they've both been around for about a year and they're from the same plane of existence (a place called the Infinite Realms according to those who dabble in the occult)

And the two seem to have some serious beef with each other.

Wisp and Wrath are basicly feral cats hissing and hekles raised when they spot the other and their fights normally ends in draws. They're evenly matched and sometimes the two even fight to the point they are out of steam and just fist fight.

Needless to say everyone believes they totally hate each other and might one day kill (or end?) One of them.

So everything gets turned upside down when suddenly both factions of heros and villains are suddenly summoned to the Infinite Realms.

In a throne room.

In front of the Infinite King (or most commonly known as the Ghost King)

A King who looks very, very much like Wisp and Wrath (like yeah the two do sometimes look alike, like when they grin with sharp teeth and their hair color, but one has blue skin and red eyes for crying out loud!)

He's staring at them, glowing green eyes that seemed to just... know.

"Welcome to the Infinite Realms. I am King Phantom." His voice echoing in the throne room and seemed to rattle them deeply, like a sudden chill in the early morning.

"I have summoned you all here for a single reason." He continued to say "Tell me..."

Here he paused, closed his eyes before leaning back on the chair then he smiled big and cheerfully asked.

"How are my kids doing in your world? Dan and Ellie aren't causing too much chaos in their wake are they? They tend to go a tiny bit overboard sometimes but what siblings don't when they rough house you know. Tell me everything."

Joker x Danny

But its JOKER whose one sided feelings for Danny who is really trying his best to ignore this weird clown mf

I was thinking that it could either be actual ‘oh no I have a crush on this guy’ OR Joker being liminal enough and ghostly enough to sense the otherworldliness of Danny Fenton. An otherness that Joker just wants. Like a hungry, starved beast that had finally found a proper meal instead of the bone scraps he’s been trying to scrap off of Batman.

He doesn’t even realize what it is he wants either, only that he wants to pull Danny’s skin back and nestle inside.

Danny on the other hand knows, he’s gone through a few ghostly sessions to understand that Joker is starved, and empty, and already half mad from hunger that he is willing to try and grab a fully loaded half ghost that could still kick his ass.

I just like the idea of everyone’s horror pov of the Joker trying to attract this one civilian guy and Danny just being annoyed by this one scraggly alley cat trying to gnaw on his arm.

So, back around 2022-2023, I had to explain to a BUNCH of friends what exactly is/was the Undertale/UTMV fandom. It was hard to explain AUs of AUs… of multiverses… to people which weren’t there to personally experience the transition?

A lot of these stories and ideas just stems from people getting inspired off of other people, and kind of building up from there. However, if you weren’t really there for the natural progression of that… the fandom will kind of seem like… a lot (even though it kind of is ^^ the rabbit hole runs deep…).

So, I tried my hand at semi-making a “comprehensive” guide to how I see the layers of the fandom ^^” (in a silly, not-so-serious way).

The deeper you go into this fandom, the harder it sometimes gets to even leave 💀

Yeah yeah yeah tommy's letting buck set the pace but it's he who does it. It's tommy who says I love you first. Buck is scared, a little, or at least overthinking it. He remembers how he rushed moving in with Taylor, trusted Natalia too quickly, loved Abby too intensely. He's waiting for.... well, he's waiting to make sure tommy is in this as much as he is.

And tommy, well tommy is being fucking patient and it's driving him nuts. He wants to be respectful and let buck set the pace, but he knows almost immediately that buck is it for him. At 45, he has a string of failed relationships and a lifetime of regrets behind him. He no longer wants to wait and beat around the bush - they say "when you know, you know," and tommy knows.

But months pass, and nothing. Not even a whisper of those three words tommy so desperately wants to hear. And then his birthday arrives. Tommy walks through the doors to his home after a shift, ready to throw his bag down and relax. He and Buck have plans to celebrate in a few days when their days off align, so tommy isn't planning on celebrating. But when he enters his living room after chucking off his LAFD jacket, he finds Buck, standing and waiting with a huge smile on his face and a balloon in his hand.

"Happy birthday, babe," Buck says as a greeting.

Tommy walks into Buck's arms, accepting the hug he is given. He's flabbergasted and stunned speechless. Buck hands him a giftbag, and he opens it. Inside are some of his favorite things. A box of earl grey tea, a book about military choppers, two cans of lime la croix, a giant snicker's bar, and a bag of seasoned pretzels.

"This isn't your full present yet," Buck explains. "I know we're celebrating later, but I couldn't let today go by without...."

He's unable to finish because Tommy sets down the bag, takes Buck's face in his hands, and kisses him. When he pulls back, he stares at his boyfriend's face in awe. "I love you," he says.

His heart catches in his throat. He didn't mean to say it out loud - the words just slipped out. But his terror is short lived when he notices that Buck is not as freaked out as he is; in fact, he's not freaked out at all.

Buck's face is full of relief, and he smiles. "I love you too," he responds, and pulls him in for another kiss.
