did twst finally find a question ("who would DJ?") where the funniest answer ISN'T Leona? or does he still beat out our beloved teapot tyrant? these are the real questions🤔
oh this is a STRONG contender, that's for sure! though after much deliberation, I think despite Riddle having the initial surprise factor, Leona still very slightly ekes out a win just because he would have to have been forced into it for whatever reason and he would NOT appreciate it. just picture how extremely sulky he'd be as he spins those hot tunes. it's so good.
I do acknowledge that this is a close debate and, perhaps, a contentious ruling! and to complicate matters further, should it please the court, I offer a third option:

He has only moments left to live.#I honestly thought LQR died (adaption memory blur) and I did *not* expect him to show up here.#That said it does act as a way more personal blow to LWJ's reputation for LQR to be there.#By staying on WWX's side he's not only throwing his reputation to the wind but also facing familial judgment.#It hits so much harder when the choice isn't an easy one to make.#Choosing to stand at someone's side when they *have* actually messed up - when they do have faults and flaws - that's love.#Love is hard work! Love is not low maintenance and good days every day.#Love is being able to say 'I am choosing to bear your weight when things are heavy.' Love is doing that reciprocally.#Which is 100% a real life lesson I am passing on#And also a plea for why it is so important we give credit to WWX's atrocities.#He *did* do some of that shit. He isn't fully innocent and it gives LWJ's choice so much more weight.

#Star Wars#TCW#Commander Cody#Captain Rex#GUNDAM#I started this in a GUNDAM-happy fervor last summer because I'd been rewatching Witch from Mercury with a couple friends#And had a long commute good for crossover brainstorming#The art got put on the shelf for other things but it's finally done!#For some bonus info:#(more of which is in my first reblog haha)#A bunch of CC-2224's main body bits are also detachable GUND-Bits#I haven't decided if ARC-7567 has any GUND-Bits but maybe the kama detaches to do... something. Shielding maybe.#But they deffo also both have beam swords (CCs get 1 ARCs get 2) hidden away somewhere#They require pilots but each GUNDAM (General Utility Neural-Directed Assault Machine) has an unusually advanced computer intelligence#Nobody's quite sure how Kamino produces them...#If I was cool I would've gotten creative with the blasters/bits and made the text more mechanical but it was not happening chief#Anyways enjoy!#ID in alt text#Edit: flipped one of the flight packs for better visual symmetry

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O
unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!
my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

The end of season 2!!!#(Granted: this season was nearly twice the length of season one.)#It's been a really fantastic season to draw for. So many iconic moments! It was a lot of work but I had a blast B*)#I also enjoyed experimenting more and more with my comic style. I'm growing as a comic artist bit by bit!#There is even a little bit of shadowing in this one for next season. As a treat. All the fun (and not heart breaking) scenes to come!#Comic talk time: Recently saw 12 angry men for first time and I love the coincidence of the themes aligning here.#They both touch upon the horror of judicial systems - in which the most persuasive argument wins and the truth is a nuisance.#All it takes is one person to stand against the crowd and say 'I do not know what is true. And that is reasonable doubt enough.'#When the majority is for condemning someone guilty - that in itself is persuasive enough.#One will set their mind to what the 'truth' is and refuse to see it any other way. That their perspective is the only correct one.#No one is born with a monopoly on the truth.#Everyone has biases and agendas. Some care not for the outcome - only that they can be on the convenient side.#Lan Wangji is putting everything on the line to say 'I'm not going to go with the majority vote.'#And that is a huge deal in a story that is so politically focused as MDZS is. Everything is a careful chess move to these sects -#and to not play the game is basically sacrificing everything you are and your families name. For some it is unthinkable.#And there is no doubt in LWJ's mind. He would stand there and lose everything if it means upholding justice.#More importantly - these two have each other's backs. The bond is unbreakable. This is the most ride or die I have seen two people be.

#conclave#thomas lawrence#aldo bellini#lawrellini#ripped through the book the other day and really enjoyed it!!#the movie makes good dramatic adjustments but the book is basically like 'movie + special bonus features!'#i did find the biggest shift was aldo actually!#lomeli-lawrence have a lot of overlap and very much the same essence#book!aldo and movie!aldo feel like different people though. not in a bad way it's just interesting which facets are explored more#book!aldo seems to be a lot more reserved and even-keeled. and any potential ambition he may have is not 'personal' to him#movie!aldo is a little more mercurial and stanley tucci plays him at a higher temperature#so while he comes off a little warmer and gregarious it can also swing into a more 'temperamental' side#the overall 'character's function in the narrative' feels the same though#and i love them BOTH#anyway i want what they have lmao
