#this is me begging someone to ask me about one of them#i would write them but they always ramble away from me#read: my bad wolf rewrite fic of pretty much everythibg and also my modern/human au fic#which features all the incarnations of the Doctor#a fifth doctor au where Adric Nyssa and Tegan are all like 8-12 and it Isn't Fluffy#there's also a Deca fic au I came up with where Theta ends up in the Celestial Toymaker's domain alone and doesn't return#and the aftermath of that#and a fifth doctor era au where Adric Nyssa and Tegan are like 8 - 12#and the doctor manages to not be a father to any of them#like unironically everyone keeps assuming it and he's like... I'm desperately trying to get these people somewhere safe#when Turlough turns up he's like exactky the same and is like...those are children#and the doctor is like...I am *trying* to get rid of them...to varying degrees of annoyance from the three of them#there's also an au I have where the creation of Jenny goes wrong and she's a very weird child#and also that that episode happens near the beginning of series 2#also the experiment au and the sibling au two human aus that focus on various incarnations of the doctor#my brain does not stop thinking up these things#Doctor Who#Fae Rambles Into The Void

OMG I LOVED YOU ORION PAX FIC (this bot needs more love) can you do an Orion pax x reader, but it’s the reader’s reaction to Orion falling in that hole thingy? (yk at the end of the movie that D-16 dropped him in) like does
1. the reader goes crazy and bets up D-16 ?
2. jumps in after him?
3. cries and says "HE WAS MY FUTURE"
I need to knowwwww (also take some food bc i know you cooking with your fics 🍎🥐🥯🍔🍗🍟🌯🌮) TYY
Pairing: Orion Pax/Optimus Prime x gn!Reader Rating: SFW Summary: What happens when a bot witnesses their conjunx endura die in front of their eyes? Warnings/Tags: Transformers One SPOILERS, guard!reader, cybertronian reader, mild descriptions of violence. Word Count: 1300+ words
The first time you met Orion Pax was a blurry moment of rushing figures and yelling. This red and blue bot had a reputation, but you didn't know his designation at the time where you first started your job as a guard.
Well, you certainly knew all about him, especially after your first run in with the troublemaker making his grand exit through a balcony. Of course, you just had to be making your rounds flying around the perimeter of the building when you were tackled out of the sky and pinned against the rooftop of the neighboring building. Groaning as the mech on top of you sputtered a flurry of apologies. The mech ran away without even offering a servo to help you up.
The second time the two of you met, you learned his designation from the gossip about a miner always sneaking in and out of government buildings which held old records. You connected the name to the face of the mech you ran into again when patrolling indoors.
It was…a unique exchange of pleasantries as Orion Pax attempted to sway you out of sounding the alarm. His attempts at distracting you with those flirty glances and sweet words did nothing to stop you from cuffing him and bringing him back to his station.
Over the deca-cycle, the interactions between you two grew warmer as the forced proximity bred an intimacy between you two.
A conjunx ritus later and the two of you were an odd couple in the optics of Iacon.
All because you managed to 'catch' the mech of who stole your spark.
So why couldn't you save your conjunx when he needed you the most?
It all happened too fast for your mind to react in time, but your frame moved before you could even scream the name out of your conjunx as his battered form dropped into the pit. You rushed forward, cables feeling like they were on fire as you reached a servo out in hopes of grabbing hold of something. Yet, you were too late and Orion was swallowed by the abyss right as something grasped your arms and yanked you away from the edge.
You struggled to throw them off of you, blurred edges of your vision and the muffled shouts of your name didn't stop you from trying to fly down there—it didn't matter whether or not your spark would extinguish in the process. All that mattered was finding Orion Pax, your best friend, your companion, your everything.
A voice heavy with grief managed to snap you out of your haze. You glanced over to meet Elita's optics, her face twisted with a pitying look that nearly sent you over the edge–metaphorically and literally.
"The age of primes has ended....no more false prophets, follow me and you will never again be deceived!"
Cheers broke out from the high guards scattered within the shocked crowd of Iacon's citizens.
"I will lead us all into the future!" Megatron opened his chassis and replaced the cog in his chest with Megatronus's cog. Purple electrical sparks emitted from his frame as his body transformed into a bulkier form.
"I…am…MEGATRON!"
"Burn it down…all of it!"
Shots fired from the crowd as Megatron began shooting at the Sentinel statue and the structures surrounding it.
"He's going to kill everyone."
"We have to stop him-" Elita-1 was cut off as your form rushed past her and headed for the silver mech. Bee and Elita-1 glanced at each other before nodding and hastening after you.
As Megatron continued shooting his cannon, a pede slammed into the side of his helm knocking him onto his knees. Megatron whipped around to find your fist heading toward his faceplate, he dodged and managed to grab your wrist in time to swing you around like a rag doll.
Despite having a cog all this time, your frame was still shorter compared to Megatron's—but that didn't make you any less of a fighter.
"You took him away from me! Your own best friend!" You bellowed and wrapped your legs around his arm to twist out of his grip. You swung your body weight to shift behind him and pummel him in punches.
"He was your friend! My conjunx…my future….mine!" You grunted as Megatron ripped you off and threw you away. You rolled onto your servos and knees before jumping aside before the energy blast could hit you. The weight of losing Orion hit you all at once as you realized you had just rolled near the place where D-16…Megatron had dropped him. Your optics dimmed as your vision blurred from the rising dust and smoke. Your helm dropped and you couldn't see the massive cannon pointing at your pathetic form.
"I took down the only thing standing in my way," Megatron sneered. The purr of his weapon charging up became a roar as the light within readied to snuff your spark. "And now? I will make sure you join him along with the rest who stand against me."
"Not if we have anything to do about that!" Elita-1 charged in and snatched the cannon in time to redirect the shot elsewhere.
A fight ensued and a multitude of thoughts ran through your processor. Your distraught and grief melded your frame into the floor. The noises and smell of destruction around you all blurred into one as you curled into a ball, wishing to disappear into the same abyss your conjunx had dropped in.
After all, why continue this seemingly never ending cycle of injustice without the bot who made life worth living?
No, Orion wouldn't have wanted you to think that way. Nor would have sat there wallowing in his own misery if your spark had stopped beating. He would've fought for you and you…will do the same.
Slamming your clenched servos into the ground you shot up and barreled toward the fight. Snarling as you drew closer and pounced onto Megatron just as he kicked Bee away. Before anyone on the tower could react, something exploded a piece of it and shot up into the sky.
Amidst the chaos, you, Bee, and Elita-1 slid off the dome and landed on the lower platform again.
Snapping your gaze up you found an familiar yet strange mech donning a similar color scheme to Orion standing before Megatron.
"It can't be…" Bee began.
"It is." Elita-1 finished with wide optics.
"Orion?" You whispered.
He was alive. Alive.
He was…different.
…he wasn't dead and that's the important part.
When all was said and done, Megatron was banished from Iacon and Energon returned to Cybertron, cogs being returned to the cogless citizens, you were finally able to have a moment alone with your conjunx now named Optimus Prime.
His optics shone brightly as they landed on your faceplate. He turned to you fully and stretched his arm to reach you. You eagerly leaned into the palm of his servo, cheek pressing against the warmth of his hold on you. The faint hum of his spark calmed the raging storm within you, allowing your tense cables to ease up.
"You've…changed." You sighed as you blinked back the liquid in your optics.
"...so have you," Optimus craned his helm down to hold your gaze. "Come, we have a lot of things to discuss."
You interlocked your digits with his, reluctant to drift away from him, but his softening gaze and even softer words persuaded you to let go.
Trailing after the three but sticking close to Optimus's side, you nearly tripped over your own pedes as you felt the weight of his love through the bond. Keeping your expression neutral, you smiled inwardly and returned his affections tenfold.
Primus, you were happy he was alive.

The first Splatoon artbook annoyingly refers to the road above Urchin Underpass as Urchin Underpass itself ("The Urchin Underpass is a major artery that spans the city. Beneath it is a spot where the Inklings come to hang out."; "This is a high-rise parking garage that is about twenty minutes away from Inkopolis on the Urchin Underpass.") Does this also happen in the japanese text?
Just as I thought, knowing the japanese name, it was a mistranslation! The JP name is Decaline Underpass, with decaline sounding more like the name of a street than just "urchin" "The major artery that connects the city, the Decaline. It's underpass has come to be a place where Inklings hang out."
the same thing happens on the moray towers page, where its just called the "Decaline" and not the literal (and incorrect) "Decaline Underpass." I also see another mistranslation, where in english it says "20 minutes away from Inkopolis" when moray towers is IN inkopolis. in JP it says 20 minutes from central inkopolis.
an interesting bit about the name "Decaline" while I'm at it. you can get a squid related connection out of the name when thinking that deca=10 and squids have 10 limbs. but the real origins is that urchin underpass is based on an underpass on Kyoto's 十条 Juujou, or 10th street, which is near the Nintendo building!
(This was mentioned in an old famitsu dev interview that was released only in the magazine...maybe one day ill translate it in full, but here's a summary)
#asks#splatoon translations#urchin underpass#splatoon world#when my friend ardnin came to visit last week we were planning on going to the nintendo building#and seeing if we could find the urchin underpass inspo#alas i was tired and also it was raining it just didnt work out#ive been meaning to go by the nintendo building just because but its like an hour away and theres nothing much else down there.#one of these days ill do it LOL

What if TFP Megatron hadn't fumbled the bag during the Orion Pax arc...?
Like, imagine we get that scene where Orion is all "Why does this computer refer to me as Optimus Prime? Who... am I?" And instead of Megs being all "Grr, you're just my clerk, nothing more." He was... actually sort of honest?
Like obviously not 100% honest, let's be real here he's got his own agenda. But I'll bet Orion wouldn't have tried to delete his data if he had gotten an actually satisfying answer!!
For example what if it had been like:
Orion: I must know-- who... am I?
Megatron: ... *sigh* I'm not so sure I know the answer myself, Orion. This situation... it's complicated.
Orion: Then perhaps you might help me regain the memories I have lost? You explained what became of Cybertron, but I have yet to learn what has happened to me--
Megatron: -- It would have been too much! So many years lost, so much change to take in... I didn't want to overwhelm you!
Orion: I know, and I appreciate your consideration... however, these questions have been distracting me from my work...
Megatron: ... Very well. Come.
They settle down on some nook with a window. Orion's optics are glued to Megatron, while Megatron looks out said window for a beat before turning to face Orion.
Megatron: What do you remember, before I found you in those tunnels and brought you onto my ship?
Orion: I... *shifting uncomfortably* it's difficult to recall, but I believe my last memory was of us... fighting.
Megatron: Fighting?
Privately, Megatron is concerned Orion might be recalling a battle. He watches the other mech closely for his next words-- is the jig up already..?
Orion: Yes... we were arguing after the Council meeting, though I can't recall what for...
Megatron visibly relaxes a bit.
Megatron: Ah... that. Yes, I remember that day.
Orion: I had miscalculated, and my error upset you. We parted on bad terms.
Megatron: Oh, my dear Orion, that's long in the past! I hardly think back to our quarrel...
Megatron gently takes Orion's servo into his own, idly rubbing a thumb over his digits as if lost in a memory.
Megatron: Actually... your absence gave me clarity-- once I learned you were gone, I immediately realized that I missed you... regardless of what had transpired. And it hurt my spark to know we would never see each other again-- though, that turned out to not exactly be the case...
Orion is staring intensely now. He is afraid of the answer, but knows he must press on.
Orion: Megatron... what happened to me?
Megatron: After that Council meeting... you were taken.
Orion: Taken? By who??
Megatron stops rubbing Orion's servo, squeezing it instead.
Megatron: ... The Autobots, but I didn't know it at the time. I was informed you hadn't reported for work in a while. For a deca-cycle, in fact, which didn't seem like you. I tried to com, but was having no luck-- then Intel couldn't find evidence that you had even made it home after the meeting. Upon further investigation, we learned you were snatched off the street some time after we had parted ways. I knew then something bad had happened to you, but I didn't know who was responsible. Not until I saw you again... only it wasn't you--
Orion Pax: -- It was Optimus Prime.
Megatron: Yes.
Orion Pax: But... how? How could I be a Prime? I'm just an archivist-- was just an archivist... and why me?
Megatron: I'm sure you've noticed the change in your chassis. Well... we believe the Autobot warlord Ratchet used his vast medical knowledge to perform experiments on you, which allowed your body to carry the Matrix. As to why he chose you... I'm certain it was to derail our revolution efforts. It had been personal blow, seeing you change sides...
Orion: How could I abandon the cause? Did I not recognize you anymore?
Megatron: You recognized me, but you did not know me. When the Autobots declared war, Optimus Prime would charge in, always on the front line. I was one of the few fighters who could hold my own against him, and by far the best chance we had to get you to come back to your senses... but I could never reach you.
Orion removes his servo from Megatron's, instead balling it into a fist on his leg. He looks away as well to take in a steadying vent, then another... when he finds his voice again, it is soft-- but he needs to know...
Orion: ... Was it mnemosurgery?
Megatron responds equally as soft.
Megatron: For vorns, I thought that was the case. However we'd didn't find any evidence of it during your medical examination.
Orion's optics snap back to Megatron's.
Orion: Then how?! I--
Megatron: -- It seems your memory loss had something to do with the Matrix. We could test that theory, of course, but nothing would move forward without your consent, Orion. You understand?
Orion: Yes, thank you. I will consider it. And thank you again for taking the time to enlighten me. I am... sorry to have caused you all so much pain...
Megatron: Don't dwell on the darkness of the past when tomorrow promises a brighter future, my friend.
Orion: Mm... how can you be so sure? We are far from home, and the war rages on.
Megatron: Because I was able to finally reunite with someone I had thought to be lost forever. Anything seems possible to me now, even victory after all this time.
Orion blushes slightly as Megatron gets up to leave.
Megatron: I must go attend to my duties on the bridge. Would you like to join me for fuel in my quarters? Say, in the next few groons?
Orion: I would like that, very much.
As he watches Megatron depart, Orion privately wonders just what "victory" would look like, given their home has been destroyed. To what end do we fight? Perhaps I shall ask Megatron to elaborate on his vision of the future after our shifts...
#megop#fuzz writes#*cue Megatron opening the door to leave in time to see a small crowd of vehicons mysteriously dispersing (as well as laserbeak)*#tfp#Megatron#Optimus Prime

Really hoping I am posting this at the right spot…
Hey there, loving your work, you got me to jump into the theory wagon out of sheer suspense. Here is my try at seeing what will stick to this massive theoryboard of mysteries~
Missingo went from a creature stuck to Meau's shadow to having a body/vessel powerfull enough to kill Palkia.
Which braught me to what vessel could be powerful enough to do so? Meau's first cub died somehow (stillborn? Necktube fatality?) Meau designed Bucket after the Necktube drama to remove the necktube. But a cub that predates or happened to die during that drama should still have the old blueprints of being bigger and having a necktube. Traits Noe physically holds. Noe being a prototype non-ancient mew baby could explain why he and Meau could exist at the same time.
But that leaves an additional questionmark on why their lifeforce are linked.
Which is where I bumped into theory two (the most probable one I think) in which Meau was so done with living that she tried to birth an ancient mew. But if the birth went wrong and the ancient cub died there could have been a glitch. The world must have one ancient mew. If Meau passed her lifeforce to the cub yet the cub still died both should technically be dead. But that goes against the laws of the world. There needed to be something to fix/ballance that glitch. Missingo could be the way the world tried to fix that mess. Missingo might have inhabited the dead cub and taken on a weird alive status of not quite living. And whatever ballance his manifestation created could have allowed Meau to wake up (a lot more weakened than an ancient mew should be but alive nonetheless)
Both are merged to the same lifeforce and function or count as a placeholder for one ancient mew.
Meau + Noe = one ancient mew. Cause of problem? = Lifeforce transference issue.
Why would the world chose Noe over deca? Probably becouse Noe was already present. Being at the right time at the right place. Or technically wrong time since he was way too early…
Basically the ingredients of stopping the whole world from imploding where already in the bowl so the world just mashed them all together into a weird yet functioning chimerical mush. What a way to recycle your resources.
Deca born all late because he became extra. When could this have happened? Why was it the domain of space that had to die? When and why did Noe and Giratina go rebel? My brain does not compute numbers very well. Not touching anything timerelated with a ten foot pole.
Anyways congratulations Phlurri, you got me to use the comment function on this site for the first time. Got me typing out a whole tower of text from the get go, have a good day~
First, let me say I am HONOURED to be the cause for your first even commenting, as a lurker myself I feel that XD
Second, 100% correct place, I LOVE these asks, but they definitely make me go dormant for a day or two in order to proceed and write my response carefully ehe
Anywho, ONTO THE THEORY!!!
To start off, Meau’s first cub did not die, Bucket is Meau’s first mew child. Bucket is currently comatose in a bubble in the Tree of Life. So I know that throws a wrench in the theory, but dw you have a lot of foundational things correct; just the bridging between points isn’t X3
As for the necktube stuff, Meau did create bucket without many of her own traits/characteristics due to her own experiences. She wanted to remove those issues from afflicting her child!
However, Meau specifically avoided EVER having a child until she felt she was mentally capable of raising one. Hence why she never had one in the nearly 4.5 billion years she’s been alive. Adopting? Sure, but raising a functionally immortal mew? Definitely not ready…. Given she was struggling a lot mentally with… things. So bringing a child into that mix was something she actively refused to do until those issues were no longer severely afflicting her. So she never attempted to have a cub, let alone an ancient cub, to remove herself from the picture.
But, I am genuinely impressed beacuse again, your foundations for things… are mostly correct, which makes me very excited to know someone can go through the comic and asks and get EXACTLY that,,, the foundations correct,,, meaning the rules and whatnot I attempted to put in place has indeed made it though in time for the Noe arc >W<
Noe indeed did not have a vessel and COULD not have one until a certain criteria was meant. Meau did assist in that criteria being meant, however his appearance was early and not how it was suppose to occur. It was a glitch, just like Noe is himself. The way he obtained a vessel… you’re awfully close, but it does not involve dead children I want to be clear!! Regardless, it’s scary and exciting at the same time at how close you are, I think one person (you know who you are.) may figure it out with the publication of this, but until then… I cannot comment further.
The way he obtained a vessel and comes into the world connects into how and why him and Meau share their life force. Though I will say, Missingno. cause the split, not Meau.
Also for the rest of time stuff you are too scared to touch, don’t worry, I spent 3 weeks figuring out how all it would work and then another 2 making. Digestible and simplifying XD
It will make sense, I have made SURE of it. As well as it will be satisfying most importantly. Very excited to be looser lipped about this all with how close it is ehe,,
Anywho, ty for your tower of words I quite enjoyed them and well DONE on the foundations, again that’s huge. Your skeleton is very close, the connecting tissues though would be hard to guess for anyone X3

Implications
Jazz liked to think he was pretty smart and capable of standing his ground. He'd been a spy for almost every big political player, gotten involved with the army, and messed around in pretty much every under the table association. When Orion asked him to join up and support the war effort, Jazz saw no reason to decline. He knew his friend... until he didn't.
Since the new guy came in, Jazz decided he values his life more than honesty.
Previous part here.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙
Jazz was always a mech who lived by the rule of knowing everything so that he could act in response to anything. He liked to present himself as if he were ignorant or uncaring of the situation through the use of cheerful tones, but that was largely just to blend in. He was no fool. He knew the moment Orion was named Prime that things were going to go to slag. So he prepared, he cleared his history, pulled up his contracts, and got ready to fight or flee. He only chose to stay because Orion asked him to. How could he ever say no to his dear friend? Especially when peace seemed to be somewhere on the horizon in light of agreeable peace treaties beginning to form in spite of the Senate's efforts to continue the war.
Things were looking up despite the fact that the war still raged. There was light at the end of the tunnel, and Orion even seemed to be truly hopeful. But of course, that was when everything had to fall apart. Jazz was dutiful in his work, but someone was even better than he was at breaking and entering. How else would Orion have been stolen from his berth without so much as a whiff of where he had vanished to? The Autobots of course panicked, Ultra Magnus did what he could to keep the army in line, and the Decepticons pushed their advantage in light of Orion's disappearance. Jazz did all he could to hunt down his missing leader and friend, but to no avail. Wherever Orion was, he had completely dropped off the map.
Then Orion came back and promptly fell to pieces. Jazz was hardly able to see his friend before he was shipped off to containment to ensure whatever was happening to him didn't spread. But what Jazz saw was enough for him to know that Orion was not well... and he likely wouldn't be ever again. He was only able to sneak in to see Orion a few times, but that was all he needed.
"Hey Rion... are you in there buddy?"
"Jazz? Are you here with us?"
"Yeah I'm here. Is there somebody else in the room I should know about?"
"The voice... it speaks, questioning, asking. It wants answers. I try to answer, but I am not fast enough. It takes what I don't tell it."
"Is the voice what is making you like this?"
"I... do not know. It is curious, callous. It wants something, it wants all of me. But it does not seem to be malicious."
"Can we get rid of it?"
"No. It is already too late. It is here, burrowed deep. We will both die if you try."
"There's gotta be something we can do Rion. I am not letting you die here."
"There is... no choice. Either it lives, or we both die. It is too deep, too close to finishing its work. It does not have many questions left..."
"..."
"Once the questions end, it will have no need of me... I don't want to die in this room, alone with its voice in my mind."
"..."
"When it is time... will you let me die out of this place?"
"Yeah... I can do that Rion. I can do that."
Jazz came a few more times over the following deca-cycles. He snuck in through the vents in the dead of most mecha's recharge cycles and sat by Orion's side as his friend deteriorated. He got thinner, sickly, and more lifeless with every passing cycle. Eventually he stopped being able to talk much, only murmuring about how much it hurt. Jazz did make attempts to understand what exactly was afflicting his friend, if only so that he might have some comfort when Orion did offline. He never got anything of note aside from the pain being contributed to 'the voice'. It reached a breaking point when Orion sat up for the first time on the edge of his berth, his optics unfocused and fluid dripping from his vents.
Jazz knew what he needed to do. He had a promise to keep.
Without informing anyone, he used what authority he had to have the facility cleared. At that point, he gently took Orion's stick thin servo in his own and laced their digits together. No words were spoken as he guided his unsteady friend through hallways and rooms until they exited the bunker Orion was being kept in. They left Autobot territory and Jazz guided Orion toward the only place he could think of where his leader would possibly appreciate his final resting place to be. Jazz had every intention of guiding Orion deep into the last standing spire forest and remaining nearby so that the former archivist could rest in peace. However halfway through the journey, Orion stopped, and for the first time in deca-cycles, he seemed focused.
"Rion?"
"I don't want you to watch. I don't want you to see what we will become."
"I am your friend, Rion. I'm not about to leave you alone out here. You deserve to have someone nearby when-"
"Please. I do not wish for you to see the voice finish its work."
Jazz was unable to object as Orion wobbled past him, dragging himself in the general direction of the forest. Jazz grieved, but he did not show it as he stayed put, watching Orion's spark signature on his radar and waiting for it to go out. The moment it did, he allowed himself a klik to lament before he gathered himself and returned to the Autobots. He took his time, and when he arrived, he and the others who loved their leader grieved together. It was a rough few stellar cycles, but Ultra Magnus kept the army together and the Decepticons were even being somewhat amicable in ongoing peace arrangements. The loss of Orion Pax was still brutal and ached horribly, but Jazz, Ratchet, and the others were finally beginning to get themselves together again when someone far too familiar looking crossed the border.
Whoever it was looked like Orion if he were pumped full of protomatter and cranked up on battle protocols. The mech was huge and looked deadly even from a distance. Yet, he had Orion's face, his colors, and his voice. The mech came forward and called himself Optimus Prime, quickly presenting the Matrix of leadership. He explained in perfect almost clinical Iaconian that the reason he was presumed dead was due to the Matrix reforging him. He tried to write all of the oddities off as the Matrix doing its work and the process of being remade taking a great deal out of him, hence his slow arrival. The Autobots as a whole were skeptical, but the Matrix combined with the newcomer's almost immediate skill and his memory which matched Orion's had them accepting him quickly.
Jazz was not among that number.
He saw Orion's state, he escorted Orion to the middle of nowhere to die for Primus's sake. There was no way Orion hauled himself down to Primus's core to get the Matrix. It was impossible, not to mention the tallest tale Jazz had ever heard. The results and spectacular leadership the Prime presented were undeniable, but Jazz knew that whoever he was... he was not Orion. Optimus was quick to pick up on that fact, and the moment the Prime realized that Jazz, Ratchet, and a few select others did not fully buy his story, he became... unsettling. He held his persona with godly expertise around all others, but with Jazz and Ratchet, the two who doubted... he seemed to let himself go a bit. At first it was small, but those things grew larger with time.
Optimus's ability to blend in matched that of a master spy. He always performed perfectly in public or any area that was not checked for security by the Prime himself. He was dutiful, always keeping a kind smile or a stern expression plastered on his stolen face. His voice never wavered and he forever held himself with a complete air of calm... one that felt so fake to Jazz as to almost be suffocating. Optimus's EM field was chilled, static in a way. There was emotion there, but it was strange, unreadable, and largely left those who bothered to feel it on edge. Most chalked it up to Optimus being a Prime, but Jazz knew better. It certainly did not ease Jazz at all when Optimus purposefully extended his field when they were together. It almost felt like he was being tested with how closely Optimus watched him during those moments.
There was also the matter of how the Prime held himself. He was highly calculating, so much so that Jazz doubted he had any actual emotion in him at all. The Prime moved with determination wherever he went, but his motives were totally alien. Every action was carefully selected, and poor responses to things Optimus did always had the Prime adapting at record speed. It did not take much for the Autobots to accept him, especially when Optimus led them to war. But of course, around Jazz and Ratchet, Optimus purposefully did things that should have been beyond the bounds of normal. He twisted in ways which shouldn't have been possible just to gauge their reactions. He would poke and prod, clawing at their plating to watch their reactions. There was always a new and somewhat malicious test for him to run whenever he returned from war. Jazz came back to find Ratchet warding off the Prime with a scalpel once. And there was even an occasion were Optimus purposefully dug a blade into Jazz's leg just to watch him try to act normal around the others.
No one else suffered Optimus's abuse. No one else had to deal with the oddities. Outside of Ratchet and Jazz, Optimus was the perfect leader they needed. Well, mostly. Megatron seemed to know that Optimus was no Orion Pax, and the warlord threw away any idea relating to peace in response. He was dead set on killing the Prime, and honestly, Jazz couldn't blame him. He didn't know what Optimus was, but he most certainly was not any brand of Cybertronian Jazz was familiar with. But whatever the case, things were tolerable, and Optimus seemed to have some goal that aligned with Cybertron being brought to a peaceful state. So Jazz let him be and followed orders.
Then Optimus brought back a sparkling.
It was so out of left field that he and Ratchet were flabbergasted by the whole thing. More so when they took one look at the sparkling and knew he was just. like. Optimus. The little one acted just like his Sire for his first few vorns of life, always listening, always watching. It was frightening for Jazz to walk in to see Optimus glaring at Bumblebee with what almost seemed to be anger or hatred. Then whenever Bee cried, Optimus would tell him to quiet and Bee would stop immediately. It was terrifying to witness, even more so when Optimus brought back suspicious vials for Bee to feed from and began taking the sparkling out to the battlefield to do things Jazz did not want to know about. Optimus was focused on his creation to the point of attention falling away from Jazz and Ratchet nearly entirely. It was a small mercy, but it hurt to watch Bumblebee begin to act like a regular Cybertronian and express genuine emotions only to then suffer Optimus's treatment. The Prime treated his sparkling horribly by any standard.
Always uttering angered words, always glaring, never offering physical affection or words of affirmation, never so much as praising Bumblebee for performing well. It was as if Bumblebee was expected to succeed. Not only that, but the few times Bumblebee acted out of sorts, Optimus would beat or otherwise hurt the poor youngling until he returned to himself. More than once Ratchet did his best to stand up to the Prime in Bumblebee's defense. But Ratchet did not see the coldness in Bee's optics that Jazz did. Bumblebee was most certainly more normal than his Sire and far less monstrous, but he was still Optimus's sparkling. He never cried at the abuse, he never even seemed upset about it. The youngling accepted it all with grace, and that seemed to be what caused Ratchet to break.
The medic tolerated Optimus for his work, but seeing Bee hurt so often seemed to be a sore spot for Ratchet. Eventually, he tried to take Bee away. Jazz watched it all but did nothing to intervene. It was not his place, and he had long ago decided he enjoyed living. That belief was only confirmed when Optimus dropped out of the fragging celling as Ratchet tried to grab Bee and flee. Jazz did not stay to watch, but his horror only grew when Ratchet began to get sick mere cycles later.
When they locked optics, they both knew. Green fluid, voices in the processing units... Whatever had been done to Orion was now being inflicted on Ratchet. The medic couldn't even end his own life, not with Optimus hovering around him at all times under the guise of 'caring for his oldest friend'. Even Bee did not seem concerned. If anything, Bumblebee looked happy with every passing cycle. Still, Jazz lingered, hoping beyond hope that Optimus wasn't as bad as he seemed to be. That somehow this was all just a bad situation that would come to an end... it had to... right?
It did not.
Six stellar cycles after it began, Ratchet vanished off the face of Cybertron while the sickness was at its worst. Jazz hunted him down, but he wished he hadn't. The thing that he saw barely looked like Ratchet as it fed on raw energon like an animal. Scattered plating and organs were strewn about, and Bee eagerly seemed to be bringing over more crystals for the thing to consume Standing beside it was the one and only Optimus Prime who observed with what could have been glee as the thing's mandibles crushed through crystalized energon shards. That was when Jazz knew.
These were monsters. Optimus Prime was not the only one, and he had proven he could spread. It didn't matter what cause he fought for or how good a Prime he was. This was unnatural. And so Jazz did the only thing he could think of. He ran toward the one mech on the planet who knew what Optimus was and hated him enough to possibly put him down.
He ran to Megatron.
"MEGATRON! This is Jazz! Special operations agent for the Autobots! I need immediate evac!"
"Why would I ever help and Autobot?"
"It's Optimus! He's SPREADING!"
"Soundwave, get that mech on board the Nemesis, no matter the cost!"
If there was one mech who could save their kind from whatever Optimus was, it would be Megatron. Jazz had to believe that Megatron could.
Ratchet was already gone. How many more would follow?

hyperfixation ask game #6 for old mond, What is that one part that makes you go absolutely fucking feral?
Since people’s interpretations of the old mond storyline are pretty different from eachother, in general that one part that usually occurs in most of them is each character’s turning point-
for nb it would be realizing how dire his situation is, and going from “i’m a part of this rebellion because I want to” to being “i’m a part of this rebellion because I *need* to. there is no other way.”
for amos, it would be when she realizes that decarabian isn’t the man she thought he was- obviously this varies depending on people’s interpretation of both deca as an individual and him in content of his relationship with her, but generally a reverse “oh” moment when she realizes that for a variety of reasons they cannot sustain a healthy relationship together
for rhw, it would be either when he joins the rebellion or actually participates in any kind of battle- I don’t have any super strong opinions on him, but I feel like those would be the things that change him the most (if post-rebellion counts, it would be holding nb as he’s dying in his arms, while watching someone else actively take his form)
wispti’s obvious answer would be watching nb die, but before then it would be the point when he goes from “i want to take care of this person (nb) because their voice is lovely and they give me apples sometime” to “i need to make sure my dearest and most beloved friend safe at all times. if anything happens to him i will kill every god in teyvat and then myself. i would do anything for him.” another option (which I am less feral about but I still find it fascinating) is seeing wispti go from only being here because he has to to being here because he cares about these mortals and their ideals and their ambitions, how even in conditions not suitable for them they are still resilient. wispti slowly becoming human over time long before he can visually resemble them whatsoever.
Deca. where do I even start. this is heavily dependent on personal interpretation. what does he feel when he hears about the rebellion? denial? anger? fear? confusion? desperation? sympathy? does he mentally prepare himself for the aftermath of it all- even if he prevents the rebellion, even if he does end up becoming the anemo archon he claims to be- deep down his subjects hate him as both a ruler and a person. this whole time, is he humble about his status as a god in the slightest? does he put on a facade of humanity, when he’s really an amalgamation of wind and storm that people just so happened to pray to for perfection? or is he somehow nothing more than a mortal with the curse blessing of longevity, taking the throne and claiming himself a god? none of these answer the question of this ask however I am sososososososososso normal about interpretations/stories of him that actually answer any/all of these questions (but sadly, not that many old mond stories out there give him much personality beyond “evil tyrant dictator”)
for gunnhildr I can guess that it’s when her parents died and she became the leader of the gunnhildr clan, unfortunately i have somehow not seen a single old mond work so far that actually elaborates on her side of the story so I don’t have much to say about her
#old mondstadt#nameless bard#amos genshin impact#red haired warrior#og gunnhildr#decarabian genshin impact#venti#wisp venti#celeste’s asks#i am sososososososososososososososososososososososososososososososo normal about old mond

Alfor walked down the hallway, being followed by one of the Druids of Haggar's. He had grown used to the others' presence, but couldn't forget them to be there.
His passage came to a halt as he was then lead down another hall by the Druid. A silent exchange of words followed. Into the halls of captives of the Galra Empire. There he would come to a halt with the Druid.
Staring at the door the Druid leaned closer to inspect the one within its confinement.
Qessyn sat with her back to the door, despondent.
Some Commanders were better than others. This, unfortunately, was one of the worse ones.
Treated like a prisoner. A tool. Far too valuable to be free.
It had all happened so fast. She was just a medic with a strange birthmark on her head, and come to find out…
“Doesn’t look like much, does she?”
One of the guards shrugged at the Druid. “They say she’s the Oracle, or some such. Hasn’t been one born in the last 10,000 deca-phoebs.”
Qessyn slowly turned towards the entrance of the cell, her eyes weary and defeated. She looked…broken.
She wondered if her family even knew where she was. She hadn’t been able to contact them at all…

Why does no one ask, Master Who?: (#1 - Koschei)
Why does no one ask, Master Who?: A Character Study Series
This was one subject I was excited to cover, especially after just recently getting into Russian folklore. And of course since this is technically the first master (as according to the fandom, EU content, and The Sound of Drums ), this had to be the one to cover first (especially because of the symbolism present here that I feel is so important to beginning our journey exploring who the Master is.)
Though the young first Master’s name is never revealed to us in the show, how did we get the name Koschei? Let me direct you to the way of the Extended Universe.
May I introduce you to a series of wonderful books?
Let’s start with the one that introduced the name Koschei for the Master:
1. The Dark Path by David A. McIntee (published March 1997)
A wonderful novel that features one of the earliest encounters with the Master and the Doctor, greatly expanding on their personal histories on Gallifrey. This story in particular is iconic because it’s one of the many origin stories explaining how/why he became the Master. I honestly don’t wanna spoil it for those who have yet to read it, but I did leave a spoiler review on my main blog awhile back.
This book is important, however, because this is where the Koschei name began. As the book states, this is the name he was going by before he decided to take the title; The Master, by the end of the book.
2. Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell (published October 1999)
2 years later, this book was released. It’s another fantastic novel which is iconic for showing the begins of the Deca and giving us a glimpse into the childhood’s of the Doctor, the Master, the Rani, and so on. I also don’t want to spoil this for those who haven’t read it. Honestly, it’s an experience, and I’ve posted about it a lot on my main.
However, it also features the Master using the name ‘Koschei’, but in the Academy! And when alluding to the characters fates at the end, it even mentions what happens in McIntee’s ‘The Dark Path’.
Bonus: It is also the book that gives us the Master’s house as being Oakdown, hence most of the fandom calling the young Master; Koschei Oakdown.
So, still....Why the name, Koschei?
What is the significance of it? Where did it even come from?
The answers lie in a character from Russian Folklore...
Koschei the Deathless (aka the Immortal)
As the wiki describes: “He is an archetypal male antagonist in Russian folklore. The most common feature of tales involving Koschei is a spell which prevents him from being killed. He hides his soul inside nested objects to protect it. For example, the soul (or in the tales, it is usually called "death") may be hidden in a needle that is hidden inside an egg, the egg is in a duck, the duck is in a hare, the hare is in a chest, the chest is buried or chained up on a far island. Usually he takes the role of a malevolent rival father figure, who competes for (or entraps) a male hero's love interest.”
Sounds kind of familiar, right?
It’s very symbolic to who the Master becomes:
Someone always managing to cheat death, and never being really killed off.
Being the constant rival of the Doctor, sometimes abducting his companions.
In some tales, Koschei can cast a sleep spell, almost like how the Master hypnotizes others.
Not to mention, having a fascination with the Russian culture as shown especially in Dhawan’s era.

Hello, this is a really cool blog you mods are running. I wanted to ask this question; do you have any headcanons involving the dog people of Paldea. Arven is 900% a dog person and already got a few headcanons revolving his Mabosstiff, but if possible, could you provide a couple headcanons involving the other dog people and their dog pokemon (which include Nemona - Lycanroc , Ryme - Houndstone, Tyme - Lycanrocs, Clavell -Houndoom, Giacomo - Mabosstiff, Mela - Arcanine & Houndoom, Ortega - Dachsbun, Eri - Lucario, etc.) Sorry for the long post and thanks if you answer!
Under the cut bc it got long
Slight disclaimer I didn't include Eri and Lucario bc that's a jackal-man idk how to mentally handle a Lucario acting like a dog. That's a person. Featherless biped
Nemona: - She caught Lycanroc as part of her new team. Lycanroc hits hard and fast and mostly acts as her hazard setter or revenge killer. Bitches love stealth rocks - Off the field, they often exercise together! Lycanroc LOVES to run. Nemona has a chronic illness and can't jog, but she does bike or ride a Cyclizar while Lycanroc runs alongside her. They love to race around Mesagoza together - They have the same personality
Ryme: - She is the biggest dog person in Paldea, she loved her puppy so much she rapped it back to life. No one is doing it like her really and truly. When she raps about love? She's talking about the dog - She hosts an adoption fair in Montenevera every year. It's a musical festival centered around getting strays adopted and it's had RESOUNDING success so far - Ryme's semi supernatural powers are actually related to her Houndstone-- she spent so much time along it and all the other soul draining ghost types that she built a resistance to their effects. Now she can (and does) play with entire packs of ghost puppies! And sneak them too many treats
Tyme: - All her pokemon are named after numerical prefixes (kilo, giga, nano, etc). Her Midnight and Midday Lycanroc are named Deca and Deci respectively - She spoils her puppies rotten just like her sister, always sneaking them table scraps and letting them run around in the schoolyard while she's teaching classes - Deca and Deci are bargaining chips to get kids to come to extra help. Who doesn't want to snuggle with two cute dogs while you go over math problems?
Clavell: - When he was a teenager, he used to work for the Pokemon Daycare. (I saw a whole hc where he was a delinquent and got sent to the daycare as part of detention and honestly? Canon in my heart). He found his Houndoom there as a Houndour-- it had been abandoned and adopting it taught Clavell a lot about nurturing others. It's what inspired him to eventually be a school director! - Clavell and his Houndoom are always locked in a constant battle, since Clavell likes to garden and Houndoom likes to dig. For the record, Houndoom is winning - Clavell no longer has his pompadour, seeing as Houndoom took matters into his own paws and lit the wig on fire
Giacomo: - He taught his Mabosstiff, Beethoven, to DJ. He's not good at it by virtue of being a dog but the gimmick is very funny - Beethoven has a tendency to nod its head back and forth, so during concerts, Giacomo will get him little earplugs, a hat, and some shades so he can jam with the crowd. Plus he likes the vibes of the raves - He's the vaccuum cleaner for all the crumbs or snacks Giacomo happens to leave lying about. It's a win-win
Mela: - All her puppies are from the academy itself. She just happens to bond well with those pokemon and uses them on her team despite them not technically belonging to her - The Pokemon world has an ultimate frisbee esque game that involves running with your partner pokemon-- Mela and the dogs are the academy champs. They're unbeatable - Don't tell anyone, but Mela really likes styling their fur
Ortega: - That dog is a purebred (purebread?) and definitely cost like 10k. This dog is worth more than most people's kidneys - Daschbun is a total brat and has very specific diet requests. He can, will, and does pick the carrots out of his food mix and spit them out. God forbid Ortega tries to give him dry food? Oh there is hell to pay - Both Ortega and Daschbun are drama queens. Daschbun is a lapdog and knows it and will sit there haughtily. They're having too much fun

More ISAT & Old Mond Thoughts ™
Rhw and Isabeau. They’re both “defenders” in some way or another, the type of people to be in the frontlines. They would be able to balance eachother out- isabeau being outwardly friendly and extroverted yet oblivious to things with a low self-esteem, while rhw would come across as stern and coldhearted yet fairly observant, but he has a soft spot for people he genuinely trusts and cares about. While the king and deca are the type of people to say “i want to protect you” <- ends up making people’s lives far worse/evil with morally grey intentions, isa and rhw are “i want to protect you” <- genuinely wants to help others. Also. isabeau holding rhw’s claymore.
Mirabelle and Gunnhildr both being “blessed” by their respective “gods”, while being resistant to the most immediate danger (time freeze and the blizzards). Sadly I do not know much about gunnhildr or her ideals (hoyo please give us more gunnhildr lore please) however I can figure out a way to tie this into mirabelle’s “What if I don’t want to change and just stay how I am”. Mira giving gunnhildr a bow for her to put onto her ponytail. “Chosen one” type characters <- not the protagonists
Now here’s where things start falling apart a bit for my theories- bonnie and wispti are both A- short B- childish and C- more sidelines/support characters. Wispti sitting in bonnie’s hat. The two of them running around (is it still running if you’re flying?). Them constantly sneaking food into places. Wispti giving snacks to bonnie from places they should not legally be going into.
Which. brings me to my next point. For starters, I have neither gotten the twohats ending nor have i played the prologue (But I do plan to do both!! eventually!!) but I have been repeatedly spoiled. So. Loop and (venti? barbatos?). First of all how are wind wisps in the AU both things that just so happen to exist along with technically being two separate companions. Second. Loop and venti being heavily associated with time. Venti either being made entirely of wind or wearing something resembling his archon statue cloak, his skin being the same dark void featured on his wind wisp form. Then again he would look more humanoid from the neck up than loop does. Ven and loop both being the “guardians” of their respective “protagonists,” along with “being them” in some way, however I don’t actually know much of the context behind the relationship loop and siffrin have with eachother so I can’t say much further.
Odile and Amos bonding over being the oldest member of their party (Amos only being a few years or so older than rhw however. if you take the immortal amos theory into consideration.) They need a coffee and a break. Cannot deal with this. Perceptive over others. Amos constantly complaining about The Divorce to odile. They both have a diamond motif on their clothes. They take care of the other party members (mentor of sorts)
Unfortunately I don’t know what to do with the Head Housemaiden. Only thing I can think of is Istaroth being her counterpart but istaroth is the time god herself while euphrasie is only a representative (I could be wrong about this since the wiki doesn’t say much about her yet)
This took way too long to write. I am so normal
ohhh my goodnesss isabeau and rhw together …. that is SUCH a fun dynamic to think about real holy ??? especially with the way isabeau was The Only defender who actually went out of their way to help when asked (iirc), rhw would respect him so much for that (and this is leaning into hc territory—but if rhw was the same way too, another thing to bond over ….) and i see you raising isa wielding rhw’s claymore and cheering as loud as possible over the idea of him holding a weapon nearly as tall as he is and doing it powerfully and gracefully but i also raise you. rhw using isabeau’s gloves. rhw catalyst—except he punches the lights out of you, all physical, no elemental. also the image of him with those sparkling gems of gloves is so .
ALSO YEAH YEAH THEM AND BEING “CHOSEN….” gunnhildr leading her clan, trying her best for everyone to be happy…. mirabelle not wanting to let anyone down for being a “fraud” …. so you ?? yeah, same here. gunnhildr with a bow would be so so so so cute too. feeling buddies …. 2 !!! the weight of the world won’t feel as heavy if we lift it together !!!!
and oh god the influence wispti will have on bonnie. bard and co have already swayed that wisp plenty and now they get to be the ones doing the swaying. oh god. god you’re so real. wispti voice i will teach you everything you need to know (<- about to make bonnie have the most saddest puppy eyes in existence of this world, the effects of this will be catastrophic.)
(also oh ? one day !!) But i am nodding along. so much. when in doubt timeline shenanigans come in clutch /lh but . maybee . hmmm . since timeloops Are possible in the genshin verse, i wonder if there are other ways to make one. more specifically, the leyylinesss ……..?? maybe that can be mashed together with stars and time’s “timeloops ghosts” ? glitchy venti. Spitballing. but. I Am Looking. that sounds SO COOL. (i am also :3’ing.)
amos and odile sounds like such a power duo. voice of reason (majority time.) and amos talking about the divorce too 😭😭 oh my goodness odile would be constantly using her squinting, confused sprite. odile would be ruthless in her observations of deca. she has a section of notes on him specifically that started off “things thatd come in handy” to “what was this guys deal” (also there’s an immortal amos theory ??????????)
and the head housemaiden yeah ……. hm . hm . there Are shrine maiden’s in genshin ,,,, but. hm . hmmmmmmm . i half wonder if maybe this would be more The Universe’s territory ? maybe a room dedicated solely to time itself. hm . but i am pointing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#just .#god all of them together .#it’s going to be such chaos !!!!??!!#it WOULD be very fun to imagine head housemaiden as ista counterpart#esp bc she alr somewhat knows somethings off#(when you talk to her enough times in. Act 3+4. She will say that something will happen when sif talks to her. She doesn’t know what it is#but wouldn’t you rather be spending the rest of this with your friends?)#anyways that’s ista behavior#hmmm !!!#lantern replies#long post#mutuals !

Also bestie this has given me the horrible thought of Decarabian inventing animation. They explain film to him as frames (pictures) being slightly different and while hes doodling some runes for class he wonders what would happen if he drew images and took pictures of each one of them and then complied it all together.
He dose that thing where once you are given a spark of creativity you dont leave your room til the task is done. Its not unusual for akedemics to do this and Deca is mostly immortal so he even forgets getting lunch and such. He borrows that classmates camera and shows it off to the other students of the akedemia.
Oh that's a horrible thought i love it
He does the sticky-note book thing just to see. And then it works and he's on cloud nine.
#he also has so many missing assignments when he's done. he's missed 3 essays.#but look! little circle go bounce!#hi steel!

Divided Loyalties Deca Breakdown(Very Opinionated) PART 2
Page 94 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
What's with this sassy lost child.... Kinda dramatic to pick your time lord name before graduation and insist that your friends call you by that name instead. OK Doctor, you do you, weirdo.
Azmael and the Doctor seem close-ish in this section. Also Rallon description and Millenia description.
So Rallon description says he is a big fella, sounds very playful with the shoulder pat. and Millenia has long hair she throws around, I can practically picture it. I picture him kind of tall and muscly.
Page 94 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
I'm just saying they're the oldest bestest friends and they deserve to be happy. THOSCHEI.
Love it with them walking next to each other behind the other members, although there's not much said about their actual relationship to each other.
Page 95 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
The idea that all 10 members of the Deca are academically superior is argued a lot throughout continuity. Koschei being non-reactive both makes a ton of sense and none at all considering how we know him now (but that's extenuating circumstances).
Kos is schemes. As he does.
That's actually just them. Kind of fun to see something that foreshadows future interactions while still being playful in this historical context. Makes food a good two sided coin of the past and the future. (very Doctor Who)
Page 95 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
Mortimus is described as "rotund" and also with having "aerial ears" which probably means that he mostly listens until he has something to input into the conversation. I'm picturing a not-quite silent type character with strong opinions when he does have them. (Or strong questions)
Also Type 30 TARDIS' are in testing, which means we're still a couple versions behind the Doctor's museum piece Type 40. The Type 40 was considered a museum piece when the Doctor was young according to the TARDIS in 'The Doctor's Wife'. So from this we assume he is even YOUNGER in this flashback scene.
Page 95-96 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
From "Even those in the Deca" it sounds like they get some special permissions for their academic accomplishment.
Millennia and Rallon being together and annoyingly cute saying goodbye to each other before leaving is so sweet.
Page 96 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
Gendered dorms, kind weird for a society where the people change gender, but I suppose they don't quite yet so... ok.
Describing them as Decas, using it as an adjective is super interesting and cute. On the other hand, mentioning that they are "leaving him alone. As always" sounds like from the narrator's perspective, at least, this happens a lot.
"Anal-retentives with personality defects and self-insecurities"... insane way to describe a person.
Page 96 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russel
Ok Mortimus kind of ruins him here. Very sassy, very brutal. Also he cares 0% about the repercussions of being written up.
Also, nobody likes hall monitors, not even hall monitors.
It sounds like the Deca (at least Mortimus) have had tardiness/ hall monitor issues in the past. This might be because of the 3 hour walk they took between this page and the last.
Page 97 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
The CIA (not the US one) is a spooky force of nature and is SUPER up their own asses, they're also targeting someone specific. There's some theories that think the CIA is a later version of Division from series 12 of NuWho. There's a lot of conflicting information about this agency and how it started.
We know who has a destiny, rat ass Mr. acting older than he is.
Page 97-98 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
Loyal to the end.... yeah totes.
ALSO "Let nothing come between us" and having Koschei reply must have been entirely on purpose because it's too ironic.
Also Koschei having his own dorm room makes my Thoschei headcanons of sneaking into each other's rooms to do kissing and cheating on homework even more valid.
Also foreshadowing.
Page 98 of Divided Loyalties by Gary Russell
The Doctor has had many partners and I don't think he ever managed to regret it.
This section kind of makes me think about the romantic/partner related thoughts of time lords. Appearance (surprisingly) and personality, as well as their family.
Thanks for reading this unreasonably long rant about Divided Loyalties, it's very fun to read and compare to other sources about DW history. I think after I finish DL I'll start with Lungbarrow... maybe even really get into it.

update, errh, he flew away in a rage.
ye.
- @o-oo-o-ooo-o
In fact I was just about to message you.
He's gone then? This is... worrying. Do you have any idea where he might have gone? A favorite place perhaps, a spot he tends to favor when he's afraid or stressed?
Most pokemon do need space to process their emotions and sometimes getting those feelings out is a good thing. But Deca isn't most pokemon, and what's happening to him doesn't strike me as a particularly natural response.
Something needs to be done to calm the red and blue Decas, that I can tell.
Perhaps focusing their attention on something they all resonate with.
Tell me, does Deca ever battle?

I've got two separate questions if you're willing to answer:
1) ?????? was implied to have been made by Arceus after something happened to Meau, but is ?????? considered an Ancient Mew? Or are they something else?
2) I've seen several Mews with a design similar to Deca's. Where does that fur pattern originate? I don't follow that many Mew/Mewtwo stories so IDK where the origin is but it's always been interesting to me whenever I see it on another Mew
I wanted to ask about WHEN Noe was supposed to appear if they 'appeared early' but I think that's gonna be answer in the upcoming arc
They are still quite powerful, but they definitely aren’t an Ancient Mew by any means, much more like an Origin mew, powerful, made to take care of things, but think 2nd generation mew. Meau could whoop them any day of the week. So they are more average legendary power with Meau and the creation trio being higher then the lot of them.
The lil ringlet pattern I believe was started by @mewtales and their various mew designs! However, it caught on with a design they gifted to @loupy-mongoose of which became Midas! I wanted to try the rings out and they worked really well with Deca’s design without them becoming too complicated ;3
And correct! That’ll be answered in the upcoming arc, almost immediately XD
I have that as one of the first things talked about because of how integral it is for the entire story. Of which I also intend to probably leave on a cliff hanger to let everyone have their moment of “oh shit” given the implications X3
