For the twins in time AU, I genuinely wonder what kind of people the young twins grow up into because of Stan’s/Ford’s influence. Especially if it takes years for the portal to get fixed.

I know the decision to have Julian's parents have him augmented was made on the fly but imo its pretty obvious from early on that Julian has Family Issues because he avoids talking about his family like the plague and I think they should've incorporated this into the Julian and Sisko dynamic right from early on because I think it would've made for some really compelling stories and moments and could've set up a REALLY interesting Julian and Jake dynamic which they kinda started to do but never fully went for

the perfect 60k word yuuta canon verse au to me involves a very complicated love story following yuuta to kenya and meeting reader there and helping train him and being there when he steals all those cursed techniques and when he gets rika back except it’s strange now you and rika seem to have some kind of tie to each other but you don’t know what yet and you and yuuta are something between friends and lovers and you’re pissed when he leaves to go back to shibuya because he goes so suddenly and without a real goodbye and then has the audacity to call for your help after killing and reviving yuuji because he knows your technique could help, and when you do show up you’re still beyond angry with him, but you fight anyway and somewhere along the lines when when you’re about to get hit/hurt real bad yuuta cries for you but rika is the one who covers you and protects you and in that moment you realize you sort of have control over rika too or rather you both have some kind of tether to yuuta and it allows rika to feed into your cursed energy and allows you to wear rika as some kind of armor and it drives yuuta insane seeing both his girls together like that. or whatever

this is all to say these two poems from the lemonade film have lived in my head for the past six years and they call yuuta’s name every single time i hear any song from that album

Thinking the awful thought of how much worse the curse could have potentially gotten if April and Splinter had been affected somehow.....or even just. If Donnie had decided to stay at April's for a while out of the belief that maybe if he was out of the lair things would calm down. Like, would they have eventually gone looking for him because the "dying" part of the curse wasn't fulfilled yet? Would they have eventually been willing to put APRIL in harm's way because the curse made them think she was trying to protect him or something? Like the fact that this could have easily been made EVEN WORSE by just a few small things is what's gonna keep me up at night OP (pos) (Also I'm so so curious to know what the trigger to the curse starting even was, if it was a spell that was cast or something that was a small detail in the fic that nobody's picked up on yet, and if Raph Leo and Mikey even noticed anything was off or not until it was far too late. I am connecting dots that haven't even been fully connected)

dude dude dude i think about it a lot. how if donnie had stayed with april, it would have been worse (and there's a very good chance they could've lost april in the line of fire, too, if he was safe with her for a long while. the curse doesn't change their feelings on each other, it'd just have to get bad to a point where they would GENUINELY put their murderous hatred for someone above her life). how if he'd actually gotten out instead of running for his dad, it would have been worse. the curse would get worse and worse and worse until he died, and the longer it was held off, the more aggressive the treatment. the exact situation he was in saved his fucking life. raph putting his hands around his throat saved his life. that was the best possible outcome short of him being consciously aware of there BEING a curse, and he was too far gone for that to happen.

its sososososo tragic. like they're more grateful than ANYTHING with april doing what she could while they couldn't, even if she was stumbling in the dark, but that had the potential to have been dangerous and i dont even think they'll ever realize that.

Ghost gifts a single tiny ear loop to Soap one day. Says he noticed Soap had pierced ears. That rings keep from handling a gun or a knife properly. He doesn't make eye contact, tries to hide his face, even as he's already wearing his balaclava.

Soap blinks. Ghost has already given him gifts and only behaved that way for the very first one. He doesn't understand. The earring is very simple, but seems to be made of expensive material and not only covered with a thin leaf of gold.

"Didnae it come with another one?" he says, jokingly.

But Ghost flushes, turns his head, and lifts his mask, only enough for Soap to see the glinting of the other earring on his ear. Suddenly he understands that it's not simply a gift. Ghost favoured practicality, but he wanted to give him a ring.

He grabs his hand as it falls back down.

"Simon, what is this?" he asks softly, not daring to be hopeful just yet.

With his other hand, he reaches out to gently turn Simon's head back towards him. His cheeks and his nose are flushed, it makes the warmth of his dark eyes, generally hidden behind a sneer or a bored expression, undeniable.

He looks nervous. Johnny's heart is beating faster. Could it really be...?

"I know", Simon starts then pauses, uncertain. "I know I'm probably not what you thought you'd have, when you were younger" Soap wants to interrupt, to scoff, to protest that Simon is way better than anyone he could have hoped for, but doesn't. He never wants to cut off his love when he's barely starting to open up.

"I know that I'm not easy to be with some days, that I'm not friendly and easy going like you, like someone you'd deserved to be with." he continues, unconsciously pushing his face more into Soap's hand. "But... I love you, more than I thought I could, and I'd like... I'd like to be with you, for as long as you'd have me..."

Johnny's heart is soaring. He has no idea how to react. He'd have to get all the giddiness out first, and the moment doesn't seem appropriate for jumping around and squealing.

"Officially," Simon continues, voice quieter, out of breath. "If you want to."

A gigantic grin splits Johnny's face. All of his limbs are buzzing, he needs to stand up, to run, to explode something. But he's terrified to spook Simon so instead he just squeezes the hand he's holding rhythmically and moves his feet back and forth.

"Baby, are ye asking me tae marry ye?" Johnny says. He's pretty sure his voice is wobbly, but can't really hear it himself as the blood in his ears is louder than the rest.

Simon's eyes do something, what is visible of his face looks like he has an expression on but Johnny can't analyze it now, doesn't dare to see the hope in his eyes, the pleading in his brows.

"I... Yes, I guess I am," the love of his life says finally. "If you want to. You don't have to."

Soap can't keep himself in check any longer. He's making a high pitched noise, jumping up and down where he's seating on the bed, and throws himself at Simon.

"Of course ah fooking want tae!!!"

Simon lets out an excited giggle, swept in Johnny's mood, and tightens his arms around his lover. No, his fiancé.

This is the best day of his life. He just has to deal with this mission tomorrow, and then they can start to plan everything.

much thoughts about shri’iia only knowing the most basic of common (like yes/no/what/hello) when she gets dropped off in the surface so she ends up learning from the companions mostly gale bc in turn she probably teaches him common drowic and MUCH thoughts about astarion eventually being the one who teaches her bc they spend a lot of time together at night (since they don’t need sleep) and that’s soooooo tangled rapunzel to me sharing a book together and he teaches her basic phrases and how to read common. like shri’iia knowing key words in common like kill or die so he’s like ok here’s how you say kill yourself 🤭 and she parrots it back to him, kys! then he cackles bc he’s teaching her the most diabolical funny shit and she just says it back. but eventually he stops treating it like a game (like after she drew his scar for him) and he teaches her proper. at night when everyone is asleep they read a book together and he tries his best to teach her what it says —I also imagine they mind link often bc if he can’t describe it properly he can at least show her, and she’s like slowly learning how to speak common through him.
