Its me or the collector/hunter would be such a mama's boy if they had one?

OMG THEY WOULD REAAAAAALY BE!!!

Hunter so SO needs someone who really cares about and loves him just the way he is, maybe a head of the Emperor's coven(or Even maybe Darius S/o??) or some older scout than the one who insists on treating him like a child (WHAT HE IS) and at first he doesn't have a clue or idea of how to act on this (thanks Belos) but eventually he becomes less rigid and rude and more a bit embarrassed but he doesn't avoid it.

Hunter would melt if a person he considers a mother figure gave him words of affirmation and told him how much he is worth, HOW GOOD HE IS and that she is PROUD of him. bby would start crying right there.

He would definitely be very protective of this mother figure, I don't think he would prevent her from going on missions or do her work, but he makes sure that they go together and he always goes in front of her, he will always defend her if things get ugly, he even received hits from her. He acts like it's nothing or that he's not being a favorite at all, but everyone knows it.

(If he calls her mama/mom/mother or whatever he BEGGS THE TITAN to swallow him and spit him out into the boiling sea. But maybe he'll talk to her about Willow for dating advice).

The Collector (or Collie) would definitely be another mama's boy, only obviously more extreme due to his almost god-like powers, but he could definitely use someone to guide him firmly but gently to learn mortality and family love well after the history. something like his own Eda.

Seeing it that way, perhaps this maternal figure could be 1- or one of the archivists who stayed with him in his days on earth (being more like brothers) or an older person very interested in the mythology of the titan and others ( maybe even part of the tribe that hunted them and that worshiped the collector, but on a much healthier spectrum obviously).

In any case, when this person is not only willing to listen to the collector's rants but even play with him as much as possible, without wanting to get rid of him and giving him mature and motherly love, he is surprised, yes, but he likes it! and wants more! so he even calms down a little with physical affection from this maternal figure.

Imagine if this mother figure sang for him to sleep🥹I think it would give Collie such a hit of dopamine that he couldn't sleep without her after that, at least for the first few months.

He doesn't like it very much when she scolds him for having been rude or careless, not only because he is a somewhat spoiled child with no sense of consequences, but because he doesn't like to think that his mother hates him :( if he thinks about it too much he will ugly cry.

although he definitely apologizes afterwards and gives a lot of hugs (please give him hugs).

Overall, GIVE THESE TWO LOVE. THEY DESERVE IT.

Ooooo, wait I just realized that this would mean Stan meets father Titan aka King’s dad.

And just imagine with me, because of the curse, not only does he gain the Titian’s power and form, but gets to keep both cause it gets mixed in with the curse, and so when he reappears like a phoenix, he’s in this fusion form of himself, his curse form and the titan form.

Everyone is of course in shock. But before they can even really register it, Belos attacks again, but Stan summons a shield protecting them, and begins to fight Belos, while telling Collector to take Dipper, Mabel, and Ford as far away from here.

Luz, Eda, and King quickly join him.

Meanwhile Collector takes Dipper, Mabel, and Ford back to his palace, to help out the others in freeing everyone, while he holds the palace up. (Let’s agree that Stan and Luz had taught them all about how to make the right glyphs/ combinations, whilst they were still in Gravity Falls) and so everyone gets free a lot faster. So by the time they free everyone and get back, the fight with Belos is over.

The fight with Belos gets intense, they free Raine, they get back to fighting Belos, with it ending with both Stan and Luz pulling Belos off of the heart.

The just like originally, Eda, King, and Raine stomp off what’s left of Belos, though of course, with there being 3 extra people helping, the Hex squad were able to free everyone, and took Ford, Mabel, and Dipper back to where the fight had been happening. And so they also get the chance to stomp off Belos, especially Mabel, Dipper, and Ford, for killing their grunkle/brother.

Once that’s over with, they do get to reunite with Stan properly, with Ford crying hysterically, and apologizing so much while hugging him.

My idea for Stan to vanish into fire and ashes came from this post.

In this publication, an attempt is made to define what Stan's symbol means.

And since Stan has always been associated with fire, as well as phoenixes, he would rise from the ashes as a new person, someone complete...

I'd like to dig deeper into Stan's interaction with King's father.

After dying, Stan appears in the Intermediate Realm, descending once again, there, Stan would think that he should have told the children that he loves them.

Then someone pulls it out and it's none other than King's dad.

Stan: - relieved to know that - that’s great! … But… what is this place?

Stan: you... you were the voice I heard when I tried to create the portal...

The Titan whispers something to Stan

Compiling all of the canon evidence about Caleb because I noticed sources are getting muddled. Below the cut is all the canon info I could find with the episodes and who said it/ where it came from.

Caleb was alone as a child raising his little brother, at some point they moved from an unknown location to Gravesfield (Masha, TTT). The two of them played a witch hunter game where they dressed up in costumes. We see Caleb playing a witch, stepping in a trap Philip set. They also churned butter together and Caleb whittled Philip's mask in Gravesfield. (Portraits, Hollow Mind) Caleb met Evelyn at an unknown point, and bonded over birds, where she was disguised as a human. (Dana Terrace) Later, as a teen, Caleb and still child Philip went on a witch hunt. They found Evelyn in the woods (may or may not be related to witch hunt) and discovered she was a witch. Caleb was accepting of her and the duo began traveling back and forth between Gravesfield and the Boiling Isles, developing a secret code to travel, leaving Philip behind from his perspective. (Portraits/ cut portrait, Hollow Mind. Masha, TTT). As an adult, Caleb cut his hair. (Statue, Yesterday's Lie) At an unknown time, he acquired the cabin near the Noceda house. He had his (implied in KT/TTT) blue coat embroidered with the symbol of a bird in a cage, and this coat became Philip's at an unknown point in time. (King's Tide/TTT) Caleb or Evelyn also hid the Rebus Box under the floorboards and created said Rebus and hid the Titan's blood near the portal with an owl stopper. (TTT) At some point, as Caleb and Philip were adults, a fire started at the current day historical society and Caleb + Evelyn vanished. Philip followed after, leaving a diary behind which was used to understand the situation by the townspeople (Jacob, Yesterday's Lie. Masha, Storyboard for TTT, considering canon as complacent). Philip states that it takes him five years to find the Titan's blood and in the image he is growing a beard (Eclipse Lake). He has a medium length beard when he confronts Caleb and Evelyn first in his beast form, transforming back when Caleb hugs him. At this point, Evelyn is pregnant with a child and she and Caleb are holding hands. A later shot shows Philip holding a knife behind his back as Caleb smiles and Evelyn is turned away. Philip is wearing the blue coat. At a later point, Caleb has his hands up, holding a flat edged knife looking worried as Philip walks to the right. Caleb is on the ground with flames around him, and those flames die down as he dies. Philip sees himself in the reflection of the dagger with blood on it. Evelyn returns and uses a gold magic, hitting Philip as he runs away. (Portraits, Hollow Mind) At an unknown point, Philip obtains Caleb's remains and begins several failed grimwalker experiments until the episode Elsewhere and Elsewhen where he meets the Collector.

Missing/fragment evidence: Philip and Caleb are missing information for most of their adulthood, and Evelyn has extremely scare information. A mural in Belos's castle representing wild witches burning a town resembles Eda with short hair in a green dress and a blonde witch with rounder ears, likely Evelyn and her daughter. (Watching and Dreaming) The blue coat has never been proven to belong to Caleb, other than Masha using a similar blue coat in TTT and Belos's sensitivity to the coat being mentioned/ him always wearing it. There is no canon explanation as to how Caleb ended up alone with Philip, where their parents are, or how they got the cabin. It is unknown if Philip confronting Caleb in his beast form and Caleb's murder happened at the same time or on different days, or where Flapjack or Evelyn is for the murder (although she returns from the right, the same direction Philip was facing with the knife) (Hollow Mind). Flapjack has limited information but is likely Evelyn's bird (Dana Terrace). Caleb was a whittler and may have carved Palismen, as that later becomes the family business of the Clawthornes, and Evelyn is a Clawthorne. However this isn't provably canon.

Small Analysis on Belos/Philip, and the many chances at Redemption he missed.

I think the reason why I loved the scene in Watching and Dreaming were The Collector hugged Belos while saying "I get it! You just need kindness and forgiveness, huh?" was because it encapsulated perfectly how many chances Belos didn't take to fucking redeem himself.

I think we all kinda know that if he was just self aware, and reflected on the shit he did for ONE damn second, maybe, just maybe he could have turned out way better than what ended up happening.

Analyzing his backstory and what we can decide actually happened with Caleb (mostly based on all the pictures that were released from Hollow Mind with additional ones), it's not like he was ever exempt from sympathy, don't get me wrong.

Can't really go into the reality that Caleb, being Philip's sole guardian, most likely abandoned him to go with Evelyn into the Boiling Isles (not with bad intentions but still) since THAT'S a whole 'nother can of worms, but like hey! It's fucking understandable, who wouldn't be hurt by that?

But at the same time, what Belos decided to do, it was all on his own accord.

It was all his own decisions tha he could have actually thought on but no! He was too stuck in his delusional beliefs.

Could have stopped anywhere. After he killed Caleb. After he was tricking and offing witches and demons. After the whole encounter with Luzura/Luz and Gertrude/Lilith. After the making of the Grimwalkers began. After instilling glyphs on witches.

There are probably more examples, but basically, Belos had so many damn chances.

But nope! Never took them.

And again, The Collector was so willing to forgive him, even after manipulating and using this kid for centuries on end. After all the horrific shit that Belos has done, there was still a sliver of hope for him to actually just think, 'What am I doing? '

Of course, that didn't happen. It was a 'Friendship is Magic, but gone wrong' and he attempted to kill The Collector once again.

You know what's the best part of this? That there's a scene that just adds onto what I'm saying perfectly.

Later on when Luz revived into the super cool form that is Titan!Luz, she ripped out Belos from the titan's curse. And when he reformed again, he turned into his Philip Wittebane look.

And he had the fucking audacity to blame that dark magic (presumably his curse) was the one who made him commit all those horrendous acts.

This would make pretty much be his very first, and only attempt towards redemption.

But the thing is, it's too late.

Belos threw out his very last chance at redemption with The Collector.

And now? He has nothing more but than to deal with the ultimate consequences that have been building up.

This is also why I'm not that mad that Belos wasn't shown to finally realize the severity of what he has done, or to feel all that built up guilt flow it.

It's because it shows amazingly how far up his ass he was in his beliefs that even when he was DYING, he was just too fucking stubborn.

The more ironic part, like I mentioned earlier, that 'dark magic' was pretty much just his curse. That I want to mention, is fucking SELF AFFLICTED. Belos was literally the one eating all those Palismen, which are the cause of the curse. He's quite literally blaming himself!

And even though he tried to claim that Luz somehow cured him, got quickly called out on his bullshit when the boiling rain revealed him to still be purely goop.

Till the last minute, he was trying to keep a facade that quite literally, crumbled.

TLDR; Belos ultimately gave up every chance to be a better person, and he pretty much got what was coming for him.

The Owl House Notes

I have watched TOH several times over the past year and a half, and I will never get over it. All the character development, the little pop culture references, the world development. Ugh. It's amazing. So here are some notes.

we all know that the Clawthorne family is the family that Evelyn, the witch that Philip and Caleb met, is from. I feel that it's only right that Hunter is an honorary Clawthorne, too. He's literally a clone of Caleb. Obviously the Clawthornes are the descendants of Evelyn and Caleb's relationship. So I feel it's only right. I know we've all accepted Darius as Hunter's dad/dad-figure, but it would be cool if he was included in the Clawthorne family, too.

I think it's pretty obvious by now that I love the found-family trope. As someone that had family problems growing up, I value the bonds that end up being stronger than familial bonds. Now, Luz basically has 2 moms plus a bonus parent (Raine) and 3 siblings (King, Hunter, and Vee), and I love that. If you haven't seen fanart of all of them, you're missing out. It's just amazing.

Speaking of their relationships, I love to see how they accept and even request physical affection. In the beginning, Eda and King are confused and almost repulsed by Luz's hugs. King quickly becomes more accepting of these hugs, even getting angry when Amity gets a hug from Luz before him, calling her a "swindler and a thief". But in the last episode, Eda runs to King and Luz to give them hugs and kisses before they play the Collector's "games". I wonder if physical affection was prevelant in the Boiling Isles because in the second episode Eda asks "What is this" when hugged by Luz. I think it is because Willow and Gus hug Luz when they show up to the Owl House. I think Eda just isn't used to physical affection, or maybe she isn't used to it from strangers.

Here's another thing I'm wondering. The Bat Queen states that she doesn't remember the witch that held her staff, but that she was the staff for a giant. You know who was giant? Papa Titan. What if her witch was Papa Titan? It would make sense, because he's been dead for hundreds of years, and the mind loses memories after so long. Also, she takes care of all the other palismen that were lost, including Flapjack, whose witch was Evelyn. If we can assume that the events of TOH take place in the late 2010's/early 2020s, then the age of these palismen makes sense. Anyway, I think that The Bat Queen could've been Papa Titan's palisman because there are no other signs of giant beings on the Boiling Isles or in the Demon Realm.

At some point, we catch a glimpse of the "recipe" for creating clones. If you didn't catch it, here it is: Galdorstone, Palistrom Wood, Stonesleeper Lungs, Bone of Ortet, and Selkidomus scales. This would partly explain why there's a shortage of Palistrom Wood, why the Galdorstones are so rare and so well hidden, and why Belos instructed Hunter to hunt down the Selkidomus in season 2. It also explains why the clone he attempted to possess in the final episode didn't work out. He likely didn't have all of those materials or didn't have enough to make a fully formed clone. When he initially tried to take over one of the clones, I was worried that there would be two Hunters walking around and that Belos would try to impersonate Hunter, which would have derailed all of their plans. The Bone of Ortet, by the way, is basically just a bone of the one you wish to clone.

I wish there could've been a longer season 3. Although I love the 3 episodes we were given, and I think they're perfect, I wish it could've been drawn out. I would've loved to see the gang in the human world more, to see the rebuilding process of the Isles, see them do a field trip to the human realm from the university. But, I'll take what we were given.

I love the random pop culture references we get. During "Eclipse Lake" we get a Dragon Ball reference and I found that extremely hilarious. In "For the Future", Caleb says "It's not like a swarm of ghosts will inexplicably appear if you say his name...I think", which gives us the second Harry Potter reference of the show (the first one appearing in the first episode where Luz is trying to fly on Owlbert and says "expecto"). It's just great. I love to see it.

I always have more thoughts about the show when I watch it. I need to start adding them more often.

Explaining my ‘Coven heads adopt Hunter AU’

So basically in an AU where Luz never came to the isles, but everything goes smoothingly, just without her??

I mean Willow and Amity might take longer to reconcile, but they will eventually.

Things might take a bit longer, but I imagine that Phillip will have figured things out by himself just a month or two later without her.

So basically, the au starts on the DOU, Hunter has defected at this point, but instead of it being the Hexsquad who run to the human realm, it’s the coven heads.

They have to adapt to life in the human realm, get over there fued, and maybe even develop a bit of a found family bond. Adrain even manages to get a job.

Back in the Demon realm Hunter, who was close with Gus and Willow, had taken refuge at ‘New Hexside’ occasionally thought about the coven heads, and wondered what had come about of them. He has a lot of mental trauma to process, and isn’t doing so good.

Belos, who followed the Coven heads into the human realm, eventually possessed Raine, who was able to fight him off, and ended up with the tear scar things we see in WaD.

They open the portal, get back home, and now have a crusty child abuser and little starbrat to face.

Hunter, needing to clear his head, goes on a walk, and gets attacked and possessed by Belos.

Belos takes Hunter the castle and tried to manipulate The Collector, but when the two get separated, Hunter finds a large body of water and tried to drown him out, and Belos separated from him, and Hunter tried to chase after him, but he was exhausted, and fighting down a massive panic attack. Belos ends up connecting himself to the Titans heart.

The coven heads find the collector, and after being tortured for a bit they manage to try and connect with him, and then go to try and defeat Belos.

They find Hunter in similar circumstances to the way they found Raine, and after a quick reunion with a child whose kind of frightened of them, they end up trying to defeat Belos.

And then Hunter, the child they were starting to grow just a little fond of and realised they’d greatly wronged over his short life, dies trying to save the collector.

Where he meets the golden guards and Papa Titan, gets a hug, some reassurance, and also some badass Titan powers.

So then- Belos is dead, Hunters got some serious trauma that he needs to talk about, The coven heads have managed to aquire a child, The Collector is back in the stars, and everyone is happy.

[Chapter Five: Watching and Dreaming]

[Y/n] smiles, as she sits up happy the war is over, watching as the sun shines between the clouds. She looked down at a puddle of water, and her reflection stared back at her, and her eyes were no longer that of the same as her brother. But, [e/c] and her hair was now, [h/c], and the purple batch on her face no longer there.

‘And that's how we saved the Boiling Isles.’

In the forest where the red pine trees are to be placed horizontally. A bird perches on one horizontally.’Well, as much as we could.’ 

At the Archives, where everyone starts to come out safely. 

‘We were so relieved to see everyone safely released from the Archives. They were spared the worst of it, at least.’

Lilith hands over a puppet Steve to be returned to normal by The Collector. Steve then feels his body and sees Lilith, who offers him a hug. Instead, Steve scoops her into a big hug, much to Lilith and The Collector’s happiness. Inside everyone was reuniting with their families and loved ones.

Amity runs over to hug her father, who happily hugs her. “Dad!” Amity laughs happily, Odalia scowling to the side. Gus, looks around for his father worriedly. When he does, he releases several illusions of himself which all approach his father. Once surrounded, Perry tries to hug the first two illusions until he gets to the third one, who turns out to be the real Gus. He picks him up and hugs him as the other illusions disappear. 

Willow looks around for her fathers, accompanied by Hunter. He then suddenly smiles and points to someone. Willow instantly stares in shock and she runs to hug her fathers tight, who then kiss each other after. 

Hunter’s expression returns to gloom as he reaches into his pocket; pulling out the single wolf ear hairclip. He had forgotten to give it to her when they reunited, and something in him told him that he’d never see him again. The moment he saw the tiny stars fall from the sky in the archives, it was just that gut feeling. He looks down sadly, as he looks after realizing no one might be probably waiting for him.

‘And if someone thought they had no one waiting for them, well, they were in for a nice surprise.’ 

Someone suddenly ruffles Hunter’s hair, and he looks towards them in annoyance to reveal Darius and Eberwolf, with an appreciative looks on both of their faces. Darius then points to Hunter’s shirt to which he goes into detail explaining everything while Darius and Eberwolf look on, interested. 

Someone suddenly taps on Hunter’s shoulder, and he looks towards them in annoyance but turns into a look of joy, revealing [Y/n]. Emotions took over and he wrapped his arms around her, hugging her as if her life depended on it. She pulled back from the hug and smiled at him, the excitement of seeing her again and the emotions, just seemed to take over, cause the next moment he crashed his lips on hers. She was taken aback for a moment but slowly melted into the kiss and kissed him back. 

Back in Hexside, everyone celebrates the return of Principal Bump, which is met with applause. His long black hair, which is flowing in the wind, stops to reveal Amelia and Cat, who wave happily. Boscha suddenly pushes through the Blight twins who were in front of her, Edric falling due to his cast, runs over and hugs them, crying.

‘Still, there was a lot of work to be done—’

Various Bonesborough citizens, including Morton, observe all the damage done. Darius and Eberwold, inside the ruined castle, look on at the Titan’s hand, now in its new position. 

‘And not everyone was keen to change things—’ 

Belos’ ruined throne. Vitimir, Terra and Adrian all walk towards it with mischievous looks on their faces. Two big shadows loon over them, revealed to be Darius and Eberwolf. Darius forms his left hand into an abomination fist, seemingly threatening them, as the three coven heads walk away nervously. Vitimit suddenly returns to touch the edge of the throne and it is promptly smashed away by Darius’ abomination hand. 

‘But we were ready to give it a shot. All of us.’

Inside the owl house, Eda fixes the nest as she lays Raine down, then resting by their side. King jumps from behind, plopping into the spot beside Raine as Luz, Eda, and [Y/n] laugh. A blue light suddenly flashes and the gang turns to look at the Collector, followed by a hooded Lilith. The sisters reunite and hug as Camila and Amity, also enter the house. Amity and Luz hugs, and subsequently share a kiss. Camila then nudges Luz’s hand and the two share a hug. 

‘As for The Collector—’

The Collector then approaches King and decides to give him back Francois. King happily hugs Francois as he walks away.

‘he and I made a pinky promise to keep trying our best. He said he had a lot of growing up to do, so he decided to return to the stars.’

[Y/n] looks down at her little brother and hugged him, and he hugged her back “Even though, I’m no longer a Collector, I’m still your big sister.” She said, kissing him on the forehead. King then catches up with the Collector and decided to let him have Francois. He then whispers in The Collector’s ear, which makes him tear up. 

‘No one argued, but I think I heard King whisper, "I hope I see you again.” 

‘We got our happy ending, but I realized something in that moment.’

‘When the Titan had finally passed on, so did the powers of the glyphs.’

But there would be a new adventure.. 

[ four years later ] 

Owlbert flies next to Willow, who is now a professional flyer derby player. Together, they dive into the forest, where Hunter is carving a palisman from palistorm wood to give to Braxas. Willow lands on the ground and surfs on thorny vines. Hunter turns and he has a bluejay on his shoulder. He glances at the Bat Queen and Eda’s parents working in the garden. He catches up with Willow and walks before sliding down a steep incline. Hunter loses his balance and Willow breaks Hunter’s fall, and they are in shock. 

They look to the side and they warmly smile. It is a gravestone for Flapjack, and Willow conjures delicate vines to decorate the gravestone. Hunter and Willow fly off to Bonesborough. They stop at the library, which is in the process of renovation. Mattholomule is seen overseeing the construction, while Kikimore is struggling with the wooden beams. Lilith unfurls her plans for a library wing, and Hooty eagerly watches. 

The wind suddenly picks up and an Abomintaion themed blimp lands in front of them. Amity steps out and hugs Lilith. Lilith then revealed her new harpy form, which resembles a raven. [Y/n] lands on the ground, and holds her staff in her hand while holding a sketchbook in the other. She smiled happily seeing, everyone, and walked towards Hunter kissing him on the cheek.

‘Jasper, stop I’m trying to listen!’

‘Me too, shh be quiet Stella!’ 

Sitting in a chair sat a much older [Y/n] her hair had been cut short, and there was a wedding band around her left ring finger. Closing the picture book in her hands she looked down at the children in front of her. A boy with blonde hair and [e/c] eyes looked at his twin sister with an annoyed look. A girl with [h/c] hair and brown eyes stuck her tongue out her at older twin. [Y/n] shook her head, and watched as her children bickered over them continuously interrupting the story. 

“Knock it off you two,” She said, looking at the twins whose gaze shifted back to their mother, who still held the book in her hands. She opens the book, and was about to continue reading. 

“Mommy?” Stella said, causing her mother to look up from the book. “Yes, sweetie?” [Y/n] said, looking at her daughter. “What, was it like when you kissed daddy?” She asked, and Jasper looked at her disgusted making a barf face. 

[Y/n] chuckled, patting her lap Stella stood up and waddled her way towards her, and she picked her up. “Well, the first thing there was a lot of emotion behind it.” She said, smiling looking down at her daughter, “We hadn’t seen each other in almost a day, and he thought he’d lost me again, and that he’d never see me again.” She said, sadly causing Stella to frown. 

“But, the moment he saw me it was like seeing an old friend after years of being apart. And all that emotion just took over.” She said, recalling it and smiling warmly at the memory. “Then he said I love you?” Stella asked, and [Y/n] shook her head, “Nope, not yet thats my little star.” [Y/n] said, nuzzling her head against Stella’s. “Is a story for another day.” She said, causing Stella to frown. 

“Awe, did I miss storytime?” A voice said, the children looked over towards the doorway, a much older Hunter stood there. “Daddy!” the twins exclaimed, running over to their father he knelt down wrapping his arms around his children. 

“How’s, my little stars?” He asked, Jasper looked at his father happily, “Mommy’s telling us the story of how you and everyone defeated Belos.” She said, and Hunter looked at her, “They’ve been begging me nonstop.” She said, and Hunter just rolled his eyes with a smile. “Plus, they wanted to stay up so they could see you.” she said, smiling and placing a bookmark in the book for later. 

She pushed herself up from the chair, revealing her bump of a stomach. “Now, that you back….Bedtime!” She said, clapping her hands, causing the twins to whine. “Daddy! Can we stay up to finish the story?!” They asked, and Hunter shook his head, “Nope, mom said it’s bedtime.” Hunter said, and they pouted folding their arms across their chest. 

“Plus, mommy needs rest,” Hunter said, gesturing toward their mother’s growing stomach. “But, I’ll finish the story tomorrow,” Hunter said, looking down at the twins whose eyes lit up with joy.

Shadow Puppets AU - Philip + “Luzura”

I am actually thinking of writing a one shot fanfic but here’s the low down of how the events of Elsewhere and Elsewhen transpire in the Shadow Puppets AU

-They don’t have to be mindful of the tides so Luz and Lilith are in the Deadwardian era for a couple of days searching first for Philip and then the Collector -While the Deadwardian era doesn’t at first appear to be quite the Savage Ages described in the history books, there is a noticeable tension between Witches and Bipedal Demons -And there is definitely a lot more bias toward people without magic, Luz has to hide her ears just to get people to talk to her -And when they finally do find Philip he refuses to talk to her at all until she reveals she’s human, though he never learns that Luzura isn’t her full name -As stated before they spend much more time together in this AU and develop a sort of father/daughter bond as they discuss ‘human things’ that Lilith doesn’t understand, including hugs, being from Gravesfield and books -Philip at first denies having anything more than a scholarly interest in books, but talking to Luz reminds him of how much he loved a particular book that “Someone” (Caleb) read to him before they arrived in Gravesfield -which Luz was surprisingly able to identify for him as actually a play by William Shakespeare -While the humans bond, Lilith begins to suspect there’s something off about Philip, but he is able to convince her that her suspicions are actually jealousy stemming from Lilith wanting to be closer to Luz -She also discovers that Philip is under some kind of curse, which dispels her suspicions for a while as well, since he begs Lilith not to tell Luz about it -When they reach the Titan Skull, Luz goes to solve the puzzle and Lilith discovers that Philip was tricking them -Philip claims that he’s trying to save her as part of a (completely delusional) scheme to let her die in this time and make sure that his door gets destroyed so she never gets trapped in this world in the future- though Lilith is uncertain how much of this was really Philip’s plan and how much of it is simply his curse talking -Once the Stonesleeper is dealt with and Philip has the Collector, Lilith punches him in the face, but makes up an excuse why and never tells Luz what he tried to do, thinking that it was more important for Luz to keep her image of Philip as a hero she could look up to than to tell her the truth -Though she does confide in her that she thinks Philip may have never made it back to the human realm after all. She keeps her reasoning to herself, however; having recognized a lot of Philip’s behaviors from Belos, she suspects that the emperor may actually be a descendant of Philip’s (Oh, how little does she know)

Ok. Here we go so buckle up kids!

1. They ignored or forgot the story line. What was the point of drawing SO FREAKING BLATANT MANY parallels between Luz/Hunter and Evelyn/Caleb if you were going to just say "F it!"?! I mean they dragged the freaking thing out into the semi-final episode and made such a huge freaking deal about the Grimwalker and Belos being a Witch Hunter Reveals for nada!

2. So I guess bullying and harassment is ok now? Good to know. I may drop by the Lumity server, who knows. I know two wrongs don't make a right, but the second wrong was the show ignoring this fact and when I have privet messages from people commenting on my fanfictions saying they enjoy them and want to comment but are TOO AFRAID!? You seriously expect me to keep my mouth shut?! Though I probably will not because it'll just give more fuel for their hate, but rants will work nice enough.

3. Not so much as a hand shake or a nod between Luz and Hunter. WTF! You want to talk about ooc! It's pretty damn bad when you do it with your own characters you designed from your own imagination. A line. A. Line. We got a line. Where was at least the friendly  hug after the stuff they went through!?

4. Pro Tip: sacrificing plot and story telling for making a point is the dumbest most fatal flaw ever for a writer. Especially when there were other ways, or you have other ways, you've made your point. Raine and Eda. Amity and Willow. Lilith.

5. Acid Rain? Thats how you kill off Belos? ACID RAIN!? Oh wait..... No sorry let me correct myself.....you kill off Belos by melting him with Acid Rain and then STOMPING ON HIM! It would have been better if you just let The Collector smush him in King's Tide for good!

6. I get it but that fight should have been Luz and Hunter VS Belos! It makes sense but this show goes against everything that makes sense sooooo....yeah. But he could have at least been present there.

7. Where is the romantic drama? They had everything for multiple occasions of romantic drama and nada!?

8. Flapjack's headstone. "Thank you for finding me.", um it was actually Luz that introduced Hunter to Flapjack right? Did I miss something there?

9. Um King's dad's forms didn't match. Am I missing something?

10. They stuck with Lumity. Grant it I really wasn't expecting much given FTF, but I did have a smidgen of hope and to have that yanked out too hurts. I still want to know what Willow did significant for Hunter that Luz didn't do first and want to know what one on one time they got on screen without Gus.

11. So you only gave Hunter Waffles so he could play Flyer Derby and be with Willow right? For some reason thats where my head is.

12. Where the hell was Evelyn!?

13. Human-Titan Hybrid Luz. Sooooo what was the point of gaining Flap's powers and Stringbean if they were going to just do the make-protagonist-a-temp-hybrid thing?

Things I thought about after Watching and Dreaming, with no particular order. Much of this is pulled directly from my notes document

Hunters tv tropes page says Caleb is hinted to be albino

Lilith may have let Luz fall in Agony of a Witch if Eda hadn't sent Owlbert to catch her

Hunter relaxes slightly with everyone else at the beginning of For the Future when Luz says she's okay after coming out of the portal. He's relieved she's okay, even wrapped up in his own head as he is

Belos lights up the Titan's opposite eye from the one the Titan has lit. The Titan has a functioning left eye but a dim right one, and Belos lit the right one. King has a crack on the left side of his skull, Eda has a grey left eye, Luz has a scar over her left eyebrow. All of the Flapjack tattoos are on the left side except for Hunter's, which is where his sigil was (or is, if they had just started developing that technology and hadn't removed it yet)

The palistrom shortage was not only from Belos taking palismen, but also using the wood to make grimwalkers

Oh no did he ask Hunter to kill the Selkidomus because he expected this grimwalker to be the last and he wasn't giving himself room for failure. He needed to complete his mission, and failure wasn't an option if he couldn't make more grimwalkers. Because he had to have Caleb in the picture.

The fact that the show itself says point-blank that Belos is genuinely delusional and his goals are self-serving (through the Titan talking with Luz)

King never saw the room full of Titan skulls in Edge of the World, so he's seeing it for the first time in Watching and Dreaming

Luz's scene of standing and watching Belos melt while he tries to talk to her perfectly mirrors the scene of ghost Caleb standing and watching Belos melt while Belos tries to talk to him. They have the same expressions, angles, shots. And it's flipped. The scene is flipped. It's literally mirrored. And she has a similar hair thing going on. A fluffy hair noodle.

The speech Belos gave to Luz probably parallels how he tried to convince his brother

Luz's Titan magic orb is like the light glyph. King also had one when he yelled at Belos. Also Luz was zapping around like Hunter, the sound effect is even reminiscent

The parallels between Belos' skeletal form and the Titan's skeletal form

Waffle/s sitting on Hunter's head at the very end,,, feels familiar. No I'm not crying

Alador doesn't hunch anymore, and his belt has three symbols for each of his 3 kids

King finally got to play catch

Willow is definitely about to kiss Hunter in the Grom photo. Also look at his suit. Atrocious. Absolutely wretched. Perfect.

Green fungus vs red grass. Just. The colors in general there's so so so much going on there I have so many thoughts about it

The fact that Caleb's kindness and forgiveness did not work on Philip. Caleb hugged his brother even as Philip was corrupted and monstrous and it did not work. And the Collector ran into the same problem. Can you stop haunting the narrative for five minutes

Amity recognizing Luz quoting Azura in Covention (which Luz also outright states) but not saying anything. Imagine her inner dialogue, must have been so confusing

The kid who introduced sigil application way back when being the one to introduce the removal process. Good for him

Amity and Lilith have a good relationship. They were sort of like a mirror of Luz and Eda's mentor-mentee relationship such a long time ago, but less healthy. Now they're friends

Hunter gets all the family ties. Clearly a Noceda because of Thanks to Them, clearly a Deamonne from Watching and Dreaming, which also makes him a Blight, and he also gets Eberwolf with Darius because of course. If you include being a clone of Eda & Lilith's great-something grandfather AND being Luz's sister AND the fact that there may be a shared guardianship of Luz between Camila and Eda, which also includes Raine, he gets to be a Clawthorne, which also means he gets to be a Whispers. And let's not forget how he's obviously also a Park. If desired, for good measure, you can cite brotherly relation and tack on Porter as well. And don't forget the actual canon where he is adopted by the entire school as the resident cryptid

Hunter is literally a cryptid and I have been thinking about this for a very long time. I wish they got to talk about that more but they didn't, which means it's free real estate

The sheer amount of love and care baked into the finale. It's splendid. The hugs and kisses and words and actions and feelings

Eda and King both got mega evolutions. Then Luz did too

Making a stand against Belos at the site of the DOU. Paralleling prior shots, like looking over the Isles and talking about destiny, the parallels between Luz's Titan mega evolution vs Hunter's possession (there's quite a lot)

How they avoided the feeling of powercreep by keeping a lot of the actions very readable and down-to-earth. Even when they were fighting kaiju puritan with decay laser, there weren't world-shattering mega-powers. Everything was built on what we already understood. We got glyphs, we got Harpy mode and Beast mode and King's powers were heightened but they were still the same powers, we got Luz with her staff and Belos with his usual strategy, Raine fighting back in ways we already understood but also ways which meant more (like breaking their instrument). The archives collapsing and the Collector holding them up with ribbons while standing on the shooting star, we understand those powers because we saw them earlier, it made sense

While the archives start falling, Hunter zips toward Willow before stopping short when they stop falling. Hmmm now where have we seen something like that before. For reference I am talking about COTH

Amity finally using a glyph

Amity using vines, Willow using fire. That's the reversal of their usual things. Amity used the fire spell in Adventures in the Elements, that was tough for her. Willow's got plants down. Hunter using ice. Gus flying around and levitating

The massive Titan heart in the throne room appearing way back when, and us all wondering about it, and it finally FINALLY came back with significance. Awesome

Luz burning away the rot before making an ice path to give her a clear shot at Belos. Utilizing the glyphs to their fullest, one after the other, super fast. She's become fluent in the Titan's language

Luz's confident speech to Belos paralleling her prior speeches in a moment of pure epicness as she annihilates him. And that's the last she ever says to him

The Collector explaining "Hide and Seek" scene was just so. Intense. Them not understanding how mortals work. How empathy works. They're a young child who was raised by the wrong sort of people, they honestly didn't know any better. But that's when compassion comes in

The way the Collector flinched away from Amity paints a bad picture of the sorts of expectations he has

Belos obviously tries one last Hail Mary, and Luz Is Not Having It

Did the rain come from Luz channeling the Titan's powers?

I meant like a proper reunion, because I would find it hard to reunite with someone, when there’s a giant mold titan currently trying to kill us. That is why I had put ‘after the battle, and the defeat of Belos’. Like so that Stan, the kids, and Ford can reunite properly, without having anything to worry about.

Also, I had said in another post that, the moment Stan comes back, he tells Collector to take the kids and Ford away from the scene. So the kids and Ford don’t really get the time to register his sudden appearance and that it was him.

Sorry if I made it confusing. 😅

IN ENGLISH

In reality, Stan tells the Collector that he takes the others during the escape they make thanks to Stan's magic, similar to the original, when everyone sees that the people inside the archives are in danger, Stan would ask the Collector to take the children and Ford away to protect them, which the Collector does without a word

That is to say, Ford, Mabel and Dipper had a few minutes to look at Stan in his Titan form before being taken away from the battle, another thing is that they did not have time to process everything in just a few minutes

To clarify, it took them a minute to recognize Stan before everyone was relieved to know that Stan is alive

Now if, after the battle, Stan moves away from the group to "say goodbye" to the Titan and all his power, Ford, Mabel and Dipper would arrive just in time with the Collector and the Hex Squad to see Stan's Titan form in more detail

Ford would approach with doubts, thinking that maybe Bill possessed Stan, but when Stan looks at him with a calm smile, Ford calms down as well, he would approach his brother before hugging him tightly, between tears of joy, which Stan reciprocates, Dipper and Mabel would also hug him

Dipper, after hugging him, would look in detail at Stan's new appearance, asking him questions about how it was possible for him to have so much power

Mabel would be excited by the change in appearance, telling Stan that he looked incredible and would take a picture of him, since she always carries Willow's camera that she lent her

After a few minutes of hugs and joy, Stan separates from them, while Luz, Eda, King and Raine watch the remains of Belos disappear, suddenly, a bright golden light appears behind the group. Eda looks over her right shoulder to see the source of the light.

They all turn around and see Stan glowing. He begins to float and the symbol on his chest turns into six golden lines with purple outlines, which travel up to his eyes. Stan opens his eyes, which glow a bright gold, and his Titan power is finally released. The energy manifests into the form of the Titan as many glyphs appear around it. The manifestation roars as everyone watches in shock.

King's eyes shine in amazement as his father's manifestation roars again before flying away and disappearing. The scene slowly pans to Stan, who has returned to normal and is back in his Halloween costume.

Stan opens his eyes, but realizes he no longer has his powers, and falls down and screams. Luz, Eda, and King run up to him and catch him. The quartet then lie on their backs, side by side, panting.

The clouds slowly part to reveal the sun shining brightly as the trio watch, faces set. At that moment, Stan remembers something.

Stan: Oh! - to King - Your dad had a message for you… - he whispers in his left ear -

King: I loaf you? I loaf you! - chuckles - Bread pun!

King starts laughing, Stan, Luz, and Eda join him.

Luz: Isn't it amazing? We did it. After all, after all this, we stuck together…

King: Yeah… now… the question is… what now?

Stan: I don't know… but… we earned a nice rest…

The quartet relaxes as they calm down, happy that the whole ordeal is finally over… at least until Stan was approached by Ford, Dipper, and Mabel, who rushed to hug him.

es decir que Ford, Mabel y Dipper tuvieron algunos minutos para mirar a Stan en su forma de titán antes de ser alejados de la batalla, otra cosa es que no tuvieron tiempo de procesar todo en solo unos minutos

para aclarar, tardaron un minuto en reconocer a Stan antes de que todos se sintieran aliviados de saber que Stan está con vida

ahora si, después de la batalla, Stan se aleja del grupo para "despedirse" del titán y todo su poder, Ford, Mabel y Dipper llegarían justo a tiempo junto al coleccionista y el Hex Squad para ver con más detalle la forma de Stan Titán

Ford se acercaría con dudas, pensando que tal vez Bill poseyó a Stan, pero cuando Stan lo mira con una sonrisa tranquila, Ford se tranquiliza también, se acercaría a su hermano antes de abrazarlo con fuerza, entre lágrimas de alegría, cosa que Stan corresponde, Dipper y Mabel también lo abrazarían

Dipper, después de abrazarlo, vería con detalle la nueva apariencia de Stan, le haría preguntas de como era posible que tuviera tanto poder

Mabel estaría emocionada por el cambio de apariencia, diciéndole a Stan que lucia increíble y le tomaría una foto, ya que siempre lleva consigo la cámara de Willow que ella le prestó

Después de unos minutos de abrazos y alegría, Stan se separa de ellos, mientras Luz, Eda, King y Raine ven los restos de Belos desaparecer, de repente, una luz dorada brillante aparece detrás del grupo. Eda mira por encima de su hombro derecho para ver la fuente de la luz.

todos se dan vuelta y ven a Stan brillando. El comienza a flotar y el símbolo en su pecho se convierte en seis líneas doradas con contornos morados, que viajan hasta sus ojos. Stan abre los ojos, que brillan con un dorado brillante, y su poder del Titán finalmente se libera. La energía se manifiesta en la forma del Titán mientras aparecen muchos glifos a su alrededor. La manifestación ruge mientras todos miran en estado de shock.

El cuarteto se relaja mientras se calman, felices de que toda la terrible experiencia finalmente haya terminado… la menos hasta que Stan fue abordado por Ford, Dipper y Mabel, los cuales se lanzaron a abrazarlo.

Okokokok. I watched Watching and Dreaming several hours ago at this point, and the hype still hasn’t gone away. So here were are: Welcome to Stella’s ranting about different parts of the Owl House finale to cope with the absolute insanity in my brain.

This is all incoherent rambling.

OWL HOUSE WATCHING AND DREAMING SPOILERS BELOW

1. Raine. Raine Whispers is a fucking badass. They were fighting against being possessed not only by the Collector but by Belos at the same time, and still managed to break through TWICE. The Collector lost control over them the first time, and they managed to push Belos out second. And then. After ALL OF THAT. They get up and chase Belos into the throne room to try and stop him from possessing the Titan. Absolute powerhouse.

2. King’s DAD???!!! Bi-gender icon, over here wearing a bad girl coven t-shirt and pajama pants. And a tiny Hooty sticking out of his eye?? Gosh, I really wish he’d been able to talk to King, but the bread pun message hit hard regardless. He’s been watchinggggg ;-;

3. Eda and King’s reactions to Luz’s ‘death’ were HEARTBREAKING. And the Collector processing the concept of death- that entire sequence hurt. Seriously, I cried twice during that scene alone- once when Luz died, and once when she came back. Eda and King immediately calming down from their rampage upon seeing she was okay I’m not ok-

4. DARIUS AND HUNTER. All of the parent-child reunions were adorable, both Gus and Willow seeing their dad’s again dhdhdh, but Darius and Hunter’s little moment aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. And Eberwolf too! I really wish we could have gotten more, but the show gave us so much with what little time Disney gave

5. The flapjack tattoos. And Hunter being a palismen carver. AND HIS NEW PALISMEN- I heard Dana confimed the new bird’s name was Waffle and I love him so much. ALSO HUNTLOW SIDE-HUG???? I’m going to need fanfics for all of these ships and moments to cope with this finale istg. I’ll probably write a pile of them

6. RAEDA EARRING SWAP. I was already crying watching the end credits, and then I spotted Raine’s earring on Eda and immediately had to rewind. I didn’t even notice Raine wearing Eda’s earrings until I went back- canon or not, I’m interpreting the earring-swap as a boiling isles alternative to wedding rings. Sue me.

7. DALADOR CONFIRMED??? I now need content about Amity and Hunter being step-siblings because that shit is hilarious. And when Amity and Luz eventually get married that would make Hunter her brother-in-law ddhdhdh I’m fine. Also, Alador removing the coven sigils- we love to see it. And the fact that Odalia is nowhere to be seen is perfection

8. LUZ GOT HER QUINCENERA!! Lilith tried XD

9. Lilith and Hooty’s reunion was everything I hoped it to be. Their friendship means so much dhdhd. Lilith aroace icon u.u

Ok, that’s some things out of my system for now. I might be back with rambling round two later because I’m sure there’s a dozen tiny details I’ll notice upon rewatching and looking at other people point things out. Till then, I shall be writing fanfic and drawing fanart :D

Ch28: Till The End Of The Road

From afar, the Titan's skull shined a blue ray from the eye, it reached them, as Luz put a hand up her eyes

" Those eyes " Collecter uttered in surprise, then turned to her, " don't tell me it's- "

" Belos .. " Luz whispered

In other places, Belos's green ooze was spreading through the isles, a rat run noticing it approaching him, it went to the wall's incision, kicking Tiny Nose out, " ow " she said, then turned to her side, seeing the ooze, that's when she began to run away screaming

Under the ground, while sitting, surrounding the fire, they looked up as they heard the screaming, just when the ooze had already made its way to the place, they stood up, running, screaming as well in fear

While all this happens, the fellas went flying to find the source, without them noticing, briefly, Chalent took her glove off, throwing big drops on the possessed ground, specifically the eyed creatures, from her fingers

The reduction did have its effect, killing the ooze, for it to vanish in the air, yet it grew again

" Pissy reflection .. " she thought, annoyed

" It's coming from the castle " Luz stated, spotting it

The castle was already filled, a large, green arm moving from it, it was when the ooze reached the top, that Belos made himself into The Titan, in a full possession

He let out a snarl, " finally, I can cleanese this perdition myself!! " before beginning to spite fire from right tp left, like a madman if he didn't notice

" Is that Belos? " Eda said in shock, as they were hiding

" How'd he get here without a body? " Luz asked, confused

Collector stepped slightly, just to stumble on Raine's earing on the floor, " ugh " he murmured weakly, looking at it in a calm shock, laced with sadness as he grabbed it, looking at it, yet again, anothar betrayal

Chalent walked to him, putting an arm around his shoulder, although slightly, gently leaned him closer, " it wasn't your fault " she whispered to him in sympathy, at the back of her head upset, not at him, just about how that goo was capable to come back

Even if he was splashed on the ground, he wasn't supposed to keep moving, until this point

The core of her heart was at full, unless ....

" What we do?! there's no way we can stop that-WATCH OUT! " King shouted at the last part, as they were on the fire's way

Both of Chalent and Collector pulled each other out of the way, hiding with the rest, as the fire slammed the earth before their eyes

Chalent looked down at her her hands, just gloved, Collector noticed

" Maybe- "

" No, Chal, your core " he whispered to her, putting a hand on her shoulder, taking a breath, determined, " there is a way, and I know how " a blue aura surrounded him, as he in the blink of an eye fly away

Every was looking

She put her hand on her glove just in case

Collector made his way to Belos, with a move of a wrist ripping off any tentacles he made

Just when he was right in his face, the light spreaded, making Belos almost closing his eyes from how much it was, until it vanished, leaving Collector clear to his sight

" No " Luz furrowed her eyebrows, worried " what is he doing? "

Her fingers pressed harder at the glove's fabric, feeling the urge to interfere

Collector's expression was peaceful, as he said " I get it now, you just need kindness and forgiveness, huh? " then leaned for a hug

Everyone was speechless, including Chalent, eyes widened, immediately took the glove off, sure, Luz felt to be right

But this kinda nah

Then Collector turned to them, still smiling " Luz, look! we can all be buddies now! "

" Collector! " Luz s quickly got on her Palisman to fly

" Watch out! " Chalent followed as she floated

His smile dropped, confused to see their reactions, unaware of Belos going to blast him

Even when she floated with all her hardest, she seemed slower compared to the human, " ugh .. " she uttered under her breath before pointing her hand at Luz's stick, waving her hand in the air forward, making her move quicker enough to catch Collector out of the way ( extra quick to be specific )

And indeed, Luz was capable to dodge Belos's attack, the light spreaded from the slam

As it died, Collector opened his eyes, as he raised his arms seeing the hands trying to get him, before the light blinded the scene

He found himself at Luz's side, " huh? " he was confused, " but I thought I was doing the right thing "

Slowly, as Luz opened her eyes, she gazed at him, giving him a smile, " no, no you did good, Collector, but this is a little complicated "

......

Her hand ...

" Don't worry I think it missed ... " as she turned around, her smile dropped " ... me? "

Her fingers stinged with the ooze, as it grew down to her hand, Eda & King looked shocked

Chalent floated forward, until she reached them, " no .. " her eyes widened

" Luz ...? " He gazed down then at her, " what's happening? " confused, or more, scared

Chalent rushed at them, putting her hand on the ooze

Again, it got reduced, but still grow, even to her arm, while Luz stared at it in horror

Even with both hands ungloved, pressing on it to make drops, it still grew even to her shoulder

Heck, it just went back to grow the way to her hand again

Luz put her other hand on the girl's shoulder, who pointed her tired expression to her with fear, worry, as the human gently pushed her away

Both of her & Collector gazed at her in a frightened concern

" Eda, King " she said softly, as they looked at her in shock, tear slipped from her face " looks like we're gonna split up again .. I feel like I should be used to this feeling by now, but ... I still don't know what to say " that was the last thing to be heard from her, she was fully covered, it seemed to be like a grass, a skin to trap her

As her body, floating in the air, moved away from it, turning into spheres of light as she vanishes

Silent, he tried to hold into her hand, which didn't have that much of a free time to be around, when it left too, he took the sphere into his hands

He held into it, cowering himself, then went down, sitting on his knees, looking at her hat, as her stick fell besides it

He turned to them, " where'd she go? " he asked, turning to Eda and King, who were just there standing in disbelief

Chalent, standing besides him, was quite, just quite, her eyes widened, brows furrowed, this again ...

Staring into the nowhere, maybe not into what outside the head

" Luz? Luz! yoo-hoo! you can come out now " he was still smiling, still confused, then, raised a hand to snap " well, it's okay, she just broke, so I'll fix her " he did, then looked around, nothing happened, she wasn't back, " what? why isn't it working? " getting more confused, then grabbed her hat, " the Archivists aren't here! they couldn't have taken her! "

She wanted to move, but her body was saying otherwise, making her fall on her knees, this ... felt rather numbing, even if she didn't want to

They all did this, cry, scream, then leave, yeah, leave, just like this

While being like this, Belos spitted his fire on them, but King stood in front of them, letting out a scream, creating a dome to prevent the attack

Yet, still screaming, crying

Grieving ...

Chalent shivered at that sight, looking besides her, Collector was gone, she looked around quickly, turned around, just to see him going to Eda, " Owl Lady, you know where Luz is, right? "

She moved him away, " back up, kid, I don't think I can control myself right now " her voice changed, turning to her owl form

As she went flying, shrieking, before King clinged into her, climping

She was heading towards Belos, who before the fire got to her, King screamed at his face, blocking the attack

Collector's grip on the hat tightened, pulling it close as he stepped back, just to stumble

Then an arm behind him caught him, stoping him from falling as he steadied himself, it was Chalent

They looked in the eye, " Chalent? " he said, at a loss

She looked silently dolours, as if wanting to say something

She put a hand in the middle of both of his, slowly, Collector opened them, as the sphere flew away

" She's gone, she's really gone " he said, eventually knew

Honestly, it was the only word to be known

At their side, Eda & King fell to the ground while attempting to fight Belos

Collector and Chalent rushed to them

" No! please stop! run away! " he shouted, rising his arms, trying to stop them from going

While Chalent, taking her glove off, her hand shivered as a spear grew out of her palm, she pointed it at Eda with it, " I don't want to hurt you but .. please .. " she said, her voice trembling

Collector, distressed, tried to snap his fingers, and again, it didn't work, he grunted " why isn't anything working?! ", that goo planted in his hands, her shoulders flinched, startled, how did it reached?!

" I don't want anyone else to go away, I don't want anyone else to go missing! " he spoke in fear, seeing them growling, as his tears began to fall " I'm sorry for everything! " his voice breaking, emotions getting the best of him, then looked down to the ooze in his hands, " wh-what is this stuff? wh-why wouldn't it go away? "

Chalent's expression trembled, just like her body, holding herself from crying too, repeatedly looking between the spear and Eda, as she couldn't hold a cover to hide her fear, " Collector ... " she whispered, not knowing what to do

As he kneeled, trying to wip the ooze off, noticed of it coming to Eda, " No! no, no, no, no! get off of her! "

" Collector, my hand! " she told, extending her other hand, Collector looked between her and the hand for a short moment before taking her other glove off

She clenched her fist with all her tightest, for bleeding to happen, it was slow, too slow for the situation's likening

" Come on, come on ... " she murmured, repeatedly shaking her hand

Then they looked up as they turned around, Belos's shadow looming over them, as he raised his palm, ready to slam it at them

They gathered around each other, closing their eyes, Chalent and Collector hugged each other, a try to protect one and another, if not physically at least

Then, after a few minutes in the black void of their eyes

Nothing happened

Slowly, they looked up, seeing the place they were in became a hole in Belos's hand

In front of them, where still was dust, the light glyph's symbol appeared, Stringbean returned to her normal form, as they watched her going to that place

" Huh? it can't be " Collector said, surprised, as the dust began to leave spots for who was standing

Chalent looked there with an open mouth, as she put her gloves on

Stringbean turned again to a stick, as the hand grabbed her

" I'm back! " Luz turned to them with a big smile, surrounded by spheres of lights and glyphs, floating around, everyone in amazement

Transformed into a humanoid Titan

Then, the glyphs went away, " uh, wait, uh–you couldn't keep away from–hang on, ugh! I still can't think of anything to say! " nah, girl, it doesn't matter

Eda, returning back to normal, squealed, and teared with happiness, smiling, as King jumped to her, before her catching him, " it's Luz, all right "

Chalent smiled, relieved ( yet shocked ), quietly, so did Collector, just happier

Luz smiled to the group, but the moment was cut by Belos letting out a loud roar, as he began to take control of the isles more and more, the skull began to split away with its halfs

With her stick, Luz casted a spell, putting them all in a dome, moving them off the earth, and in the speed of a snake, they moved in the air, from left to right, until they were high enough

When they stopped, Luz, slammed against the dome's round wall, moved away, grunting " whoa, hahah! overshot it a little, still getting used to these powers " she said

Hearing what seemed like a loud crack, or scream, dunno, what you might heard, they looked to the source

Seeing the skull crackling even more, the Archive House about to fall

" Oh no, everyone's still in the Archives " Eda said, worried

" Leave them to me! " Collector said, getting out, sitting on a blue star

On his way, the ooze grew on his hands, " come on, you can at least do this " he uttered to himself

Then, a shadow loomed from above, looking up, his expression eased

Chalent looked to him, crossing her arms, smiling, " hey "

" heys " he said back, smiling

They shared a wink, as they arrived to the Archive House, the place was already shaking

The Titan's arms rising up, the skull leaned back, being already broken as is, the horn's tip shattered, leaving the Archive House to fall

But then at the last moment, pink strings spreaded down, each one wrapping itself around a pillar, holding the House in place

Inside it, where Camilla, Amity, Gus, Willow and Hunter, who were catching the isles's folks as they were falling from up due to the quivering of the place, looked up, seeing Collector in the air, all strings between his hands

Quite struggling to keep his hold on the place, but was able to give them a reassuring expression with a smile 

On the other hand, under him, some limbs from the green ground grew up, they were darker in the color, Chalent was floating around them, wherever they appeared, with a spear born from her hand, she would strike, cutting them in half

As they were for some reason trying to reach Collector

" The Collector, and ... " Hunter uttered, surprised, although wary

" Are they- "

In another place

The space in between, in a dark place, with drier ground, dead from life, in every corner from his exsitence

Silently, his eyes emotionlessly moved to the side, at the enterance

" What? " he bluntly said, staring at the Titan, who was standing at the entrance of that damn hole he chained him in

He didn't bother to show any care seeing the glowing decay in his upper half

" Did you finally get rid of that garbage? " specifically talking about the Bad Girl Coven's shirt

" Funny " the Titan stated, in a semi-dry tone as he walked inside, just to turn around, let himself fall against the rochy wall, on his knees, looking down to floor

He turned himself around, making his back rest against the wall instead

Fo awhile, the Titan was silent, and then, " still trying? "

He stayed silent, not even looking at him

" And yet, she's out there, cutting up all your efforts "

" ..... " his expression darkened, but no recognized anger was shown

The Titan just sighed

" You stood for Gaia, I just chose Chaos "

" Even Gaia made monsters "

He laughed, loudly, it was rare for him to laugh, but even this wasn't something he considered good

" Yeah right, and who made her? " he mocked, turning to him " face it, brother, you're the only corpse of a saint for this world, we'll never be in the same place "

The Titan took a deep breath, calming himself for necessary

" And what? even if your son made his own spells, he would never– "

" Trust me " he cut him off, slowly, rolling his eyes to him in coldness, up and down " no one wants to be in your shoes, no one there wants to remember you, whatever nonsense you indulged in, that's your thing, be happy or not in it, no one cares "

" Rest assured " he turned around, giving the Titan his back, " you all are dead to me .. "

" But sadly, I have to carry you with me till we fall down " he closed his eyes, covering himself with his wings " the road wouldn't be long ... "

And then, one of the cubes was floating at the entrance, going inside

He extended his hand, until it became in his reach, he grabbed it

The Titan just slightly opened his eye, giving him the side eye, before closing it again

In it, that Starchild was holding that house in place, eyes tightly closed, gritted teeth, clenching his fists that had those strings, holding a house from falling

He shaked it, for in it to .. that kid to appear

Cutting anything he tried to grow

Her blood, her own damn blood, fighting what will always be a part of her

... So, she eventually chose him, huh?

Sure, that foreign blood was fresher than anything that he ever experienced, a one of kind

Although he ( thankfully ) didn't had the chance to lay his hands on the star

She just wasted a good meal

Then, he shaked it again, in it, he could see Oraios's heart, as that creature had planted himself in it, as those little ants made the way for that human to go to him

Putting both hands on the rib cage

His teeth moved, as if saying something, as he was getting ripped off bit by bit

Suddenly, the cube went all black, " what in the ... " he mumbled to himself, angered, and before he could even move it, it broke

He turned to the Titan, seeing him already vanishing

In a shift, his face shaked in confusion, he didn't know, he felt angered, yet it wasn't something he put in consideration

.. Why surprise, Chaoser? you didn't care

Even though, he was vanishing as well

He stood up, turning his back to his younger brother, looking at his hands ... why was he trembling?

Why does he need to come back? why should he??

Why it's the only thing he thinks about right now?

Children, come back to the cave, your siblings will go out

Chalent, you do know it was your chance to make Papa happy, right? you could've been pardoned for letting your gaze wonder away!

Why did you listen to some space midget?!

Because if that's the case, you're no better than the damn belly you came from! we could've been happy! I would be happy

Didn't you know that Papa loves you? how else would he face you every day and night?

He went feral

Screaming like an animal, as the place got drier, darker, deader

He went on about this, alone

All by himself in the dark, until his voice was no longer present

.

At that time, Belos got eventually out of the heart, the ooze died, at every place

On the bare ground, Collector put the house on it, his strings faded, on his star, he fell to his knees, tired as hell, Chalent did the same, their backs against each other, " it's over ... " she thought, putting her glove on, dunno why, but after everything, there was a shot of catharsis inside, as the dawn's sun appeared to them, gently brushing on everyone

The star went down to the Archive House, until they reached the ground, it popped out, letting them on the ground

They panted in tiredness, although Collector did more

Then they noticed them approaching, both put a hand on the other's head, sheltering against each other

That's when Amity stepped up, getting down to them, offering them her hands

Looking up again, a little surprised, Collector accepted it with happy tears

Chalent took her hand, her brows slightly furrowed, a little hesitant, but eventually went out of the window as she looked up at the Witch, giving her a grateful smile, " thanks ... " she uttered, which just made Amity smiled more
