Gotham fucking loves Brucie Wayne
Some nice Brucie Wayne headcanons for you all
Hes an idiot and a dork but he makes social events interesting because who else would fall into the chocolate fountain?
At any social event where kids are invited as well he can most definitely be found with the kids, talking to them like they are adults
He never treats anyone as inferior unless they're dicks
He once punched riddler in the face because he interrupted a girls birthday party
He has an entire fashion line that is dedicated to giving people actually comfortable practical clothes
Hes an absolute unit in bed. For both men and women. (either top or bottom)
He once held a man upside down by his ankles and shook him until everything had fallen out of his pockets because he had used to be a bully and was now a dick
Can and will walk teenagers home if its late at night.
Always tips very generously
He was once in line at a batburger and there was a karen yelling at the poor 16 year old cashier and he walked to the front and just started sticking 100 dollar bills into the tip jar with the nastiest smile aimed at the karen. ‘The more you yell the more i tip.’ (the cashier was, coincidently stephanie brown, and she high fived him)
He has a social media but never uses it unless its to draw awareness to a certain cause or to show off his children.
He also posts beautiful pictures of gotham, or of mundane everyday things, showcasing the beauty in life
(Is canonically a feminist)
Will protect waiters/servers/janitors from creeps or gotham elite who think theyre better than them
He stopped adopting kids but still pays for as many college tuitions as he can
Funded a city wide disability infrastructure plan so people with wheelchairs could go places too
He once rocked three guys with guns’s shit because they were attempting to molest these little boys
Punched a teacher in the face for making a student cry
Will at any time drop everything the second one of his kids asks him to
There is an entire instagram account dedicated to pictures of him helping old people cross the street
Once a month he visits inmates at the prison and offers them jobs
Genuinely cares for his workers and buys them houses and cars if they need it
Literally created gothams public transportation system and made sure it was free
Teamed up with poison ivy to make public gardens for everyone to enjoy
Funds clean energy research
Any celebrity fan mail he receives he answers personally
One time a little girl asked him to come to her birthday party and he did and brought presents
Taught an entire school basic self defense
Brucie Wayne may be an idiotic little shit but he is the Prince of Gotham and Gothamites would lay down their lives for him more willingly than they would for Batman.
#just some headcanons#some might be tru#some not#idk#i just wanted some good bruce wayne#not batman#but bruce wayne#brucie wayne#batfam#batman#good guy bruce wayne

@tazmiilly and i talked for no fewer than six hours today about parallel ford and his mobility aids. here's some of what i came up with
you can barely see it but credit to @badwaves for the institute logo (link to a drawing he did with it)
image IDs are in alt text; design notes below the cut
Image ID: a screenshot of writing on a digital whiteboard. the text reads as follows:
wheelchairs - 2
foldable chair - easily transportable - designed for manoeuverability in high traffic/urban areas - mostly used at the end of a long day
motorized chair - for long treks/field missions - ridged metal frame - designed for rough terrain - souped up by fiddleford
two or three canes
fancy cane for formal events (mostly for fashion)
everyday cane (sturdy, classy)
field cane (collapsible, has a concealed weapon)
mabel puts stickers on all of them
end image ID.
#this is . merely a fraction of what we came up with LOL#i just mostly wanted to focus on the aids themselves#gravity falls#artwork of the damned#stanford pines#fiddleford mcgucket#journal 3#i'd love to write about all the hcs we came up with but idk how lmao#oh and of course it goes without saying but they are super married#i just happened to draw them both facing right so unfortunately you can't see the rings on their left hands. I got to try out some all-terrain wheelchairs yesterday and it was so fun! With me potentially moving back home to my parents farm, we thought it would be a good idea to look into some options and a family friend (who's also a wheelchair user) invited me to an event he was hosting at his place where they would have a few available to try.
I tried two different kinds of powerchair, one with regular off-road wheels, and one with those big tank tracks, as well as an Omeo, which is a hands-free chair that works kind of like a segway, you lean in the direction you want to go.
The powerchairs, especially the one with the tracks, was the most practical option, but they're too heavy to transport in a normal car, so I'd only be able to use it at home without some kind of modified van (and getting NDIS support for those is not easy) or accessible public transport which doesn't exist this far out of town. It was a lot of fun though, and they really meant it when they said all-terrain. Even the smaller chair with the wheels handled terrain that my car couldn't even get through without making some concerning noises (very steep hills, in and around creeks, a pile of mulch in the friend's garden)
The Omeo was the one I'm most excited for though! I had some trouble with the standard ones they had at the event because they do kind of depend on you having legs, even if you can't use them. Legs, even unmovable ones, impact how your weight is distributed, and the Omeo uses shifts in weight to determine where you want to go, so if your weight is not distributed the way it expects, its a bit harder to use. Even with that issue though, I was still able to use it once we tweaked the seating a bit and the OTs present were confident we could make further adjustments to make it better for me, mainly replacing the foot plate with some kind of knee-pad for me to brace/push against when I lean forward. It was able to handle all the same terrain as the other powerchairs (though I wasn't that adventurous, others at the event were) and it was able to be put in the back of my car, so we would be able to easily take it to other places, unlike the other options. I'm going to look into trialing one that's a bit better suited to me, if the NDIS allows it lol.

Beastbug Leif!
Kabbu | Vi | Leif (you are here!)
Leif joins the party! As a weird octopus.
More info under the cut. Spoilers! Many a spoiler!
Leif's beast form is a cordybug. He is mostly affected by magic and psychological triggers.
Psychological triggers are traumatic experiences that often result in other responses like memory loss, identity loss... Such experience would also trigger a transformation. More often than not, after such transformation the beast bug does not transform back. Or if they do, they don't come back "right", lacking memories of past selves.
Leif is the youngest beastbug in the team as their transformation happens the latest.
Vi and Kabbu find him as usual, but over the course of the game events, as he gets more stressed and interacts with more magic, his condition worsens. Fighting the Zommoth and/or the Everlasting King is enough to trigger his transformation, which costs him his legs and one arm.
Technically, he can use cordyceps for his arm, he just covers both arms with Mothiva Branded Mittens (the most awful thing to come out of all of that).
They have a few ways of transportation:
A wheelchair, which gets upgraded later to have many cool features. Including, but not limited to, an emergency ejection.
Floating with magic ice. Also used as a cork.
Attaching themselves to one of their teammates like a leech. It's their favorite method. Fast, easy and gets them everywhere.

For those who enjoy cottagecore, please read what I have to say.
As you may or may not know, cottagecore has stemmed from colonist ideals, is racist, and has ties to tradwives. However I will not go in depth on it as it has already been talked about in a few articles and some posts on tumblr. The articles are here, here, here, and here. The tumblr posts can be found here, here, here, here, and here. However I say this person, Zoe Bee, has done a really good job on her video here as she summed up everything I already linked before.
I will say this article came out more recently if you wanted something newer about tradwives.
In this current day and age it’s understandable to want what cottagecore promotes with its aesthetic. Beautiful flowers as far as the eye can see, a garden you tailored yourself that you like specifically, billowing dresses, cute animals that provide you eggs and milk, and so on. Especially having your own house is very appealing at a time where it’s unattainable for many people. But going out where you’re isolated from everyone, with just yourself and your animals, is not the answer. Going out to land that once belonged to indigenous people who have not been able to go back home is not the answer. Continuing to think of ideals of the past is not the answer.
Instead what we can do is transform cities to be more green, safe for people, and work with the environment around it. This is the answer. To move forward. To think of the future and create it.
One of the first things we should do is improve accessibility. As you know not everyone can walk, see, or hear as a few examples. Having better public transportation is important to ensure everyone is able to get to where they need to. As it stands being in a city, not everyone has enough spoons, or ability, to walk where they can go. Trains are very popular, especially when it comes to going to other cities or towns. However when it comes to North America compared to Europe it’s not as widespread. Trams (or streetcars or trolleys if you’re from North America) are also a wonderful example. We must be able to ensure that entryways are large enough for even the biggest set of wheelchairs to go through. Ramps for easy access are important as well as wheelchairs cannot simply “step up” into vehicles. And this is not just for wheelchairs, it would be good for parents who are taking their baby or small child around in a stroller. There’s also those who use walkers, people with wheeled luggage, carts and so forth.
But most importantly, it is vital for people with disabilities to be part of the designing process of a city, to ensure that their voices are heard and to ensure they take part in that everyday easy access that most abled people already enjoy. Like Braille, audio description, large print, and subtitles as a ready option that’s there from the get go.
Another thing with more access to public transportation, people would need cars less and less. And should they need to go somewhere a train or tram cannot, buses are still options. However with fewer cars, the roads would be used less. Parking lots would be smaller. We could a: make roads and parking lots smaller; b: take out roads and parking lots completely; c: transform roads and parking lots into community spaces; or d: do a mixture of all of the above. Some roads could turn back into the wild environment that existed there before, while we could turn parking lots into more parks. Streets could be like they were before cars became mainstream, where street vendors would sell their wares, where children would play games, and anyone would hang out. Parking lots could become a space for events like farmer’s markets or a place to shoot off fireworks. Or even instead of parks in place of parking lots, it could be transformed into a community garden.
When it comes to housing, apartment complexes are where we should go in cities. To keep from city sprawl, we can go up. We can transform rooftops to community gardens, water harvesting spaces, solar panel spaces, or a community space.
However in some spaces, like in the suburbs, or even some spaces where there are houses in a neighborhood in a city, we can turn them into “pockethoods”. We can turn a neighborhood into a village. In the city we could have tiny houses on the same plot of land one house would typically be on. In a regular neighborhood, picture a series of houses without fencing and the series of backyards turn into a common area.
We can plant more trees alongside sidewalks, both fruit producing and pollen producing, more fruit bearing than pollen bearing, to help keep the allergies down and to keep a variety of plants. We can plant native species in cities, and we can have non-natives in our community gardens, or even inside city farms, for both practical use, such as eating or creating fibers, or enjoyment, like flowers to cut into bouquets. We can create rain gardens to help collect rainwater to put back into our water table.
I know that cottagecore lovers love the idea of going out into the country and perhaps finding a community there, but the cities are here, we’ve been here. It’s people’s homes, their lives. Cities have been around for such a long time, one of the most well known oldest city is Mesopotamia’s Babylon. (Very famous for their hanging gardens I might add.) Most importantly it can be done. Even now we can go talk to neighbors, go to events others are holding, or even create our own events, create a big pot of food to share with others, and have community. We can make a difference and we can have that sense of love. We just need to band together, demand change, and create our change. It can be hard, yes, but it will be so rewarding. This, you might find yourself doing, is something that aligns more with Solarpunk. Something that people look to strive for a brighter future for everyone.
Thank you.
(And thank you so much @cwicseolfor for helping me edit this TT^TT)
#Solarpunk#cottagecore#fun fact the suicide rate in Montana is higher than Wisconsin is because all those ranches are miles away from their neighbors#you are isolated#and we are social creatures#we do not do well with being alone for long periods of time#and cool I’m posting it just in time for Solarpunk Aesthetic Week

I could really use a little support from the disabled/chronically ill community right now. Basically my ability to walk is affected because I have some kind of neurological issue which I'll find out more about on Tuesday.
I have a lot of pain and weakness in all my extremities, but my legs are more severely affected. I use one or two forearm crutches, depending on the distance. In the past few months, long distances have become impossible. Sometimes even medium distance leave me unable to be present or enjoy myself because it's so difficult and painful just to hold my body up. So things like browsing a larger store, going to the mall, or going to an event are just not possible.
I've been considering getting a wheelchair for part-time use, and will be asking my doctor about it at my appointment. I think it would be good for me. I have a lot of fatigue as well, so I can usually only do one "event" per day before being too tired (going to an appointment for example). Some days I can't even do that.
I've been just openly mentioning it to my family, because people are always like "imprisoned by a wheelchair!!? D:" and I'm just not doing all that. I am not going to "come out" about getting a wheelchair, that's dumb.
I started to talk to my mom about it tonight, and my mom is NOT good at hard conversations. She tends to get mean, cold, and avoidant. It's not that she doesn't care, it's that she cares so much she cannot tolerate even facing the idea of something difficult or upsetting having to do with her children. She's a great mom- she is not great at emotional intelligence.
Anyway, she was super combative about it, and here's the short form with my responses:
"You can just get a cheap transport chair so someone can push you around when you get tired." - I am not happy with having to rely on someone else pushing me around, I need to be able to do it independently.
"Nobody walks to their trunk and gets their own wheelchair out of the back." - Yes actually, tons of people do. It's called being an ambulatory wheelchair user.
"You don't need to go through getting measured or talking to a specialist, you won't be using it long term." - I may not be using it all the time, but I will be using it "long term" as in over many years. Having an improperly fitting wheelchair can hurt you. (Then argument about how they're way too expensive and I don't need "all that", meaning a good quality chair.)
"I don't want you to make yourself worse." - Well mom, I actually will be continuing to exercise regularly to make sure I keep my strength. (Believe it or not, I do not want to be unable to walk at 26 years old.)
I'm really upset about it because I really wanted her support in this. I am already 26 years old and suddenly disabled, the least I deserve is to have some freedom and independence. Again, I don't know what my diagnosis is yet so there's still a chance I won't need a wheelchair, but I'm trying to prepare. Maybe I'm being dumb about this, idk.

Can we Please Re-Open the Petergate?
Ever since learning about Petergate in its entirety, it has been breaking my brain. There’s obviously something incredibly important happening here, enough so that it has to be hidden until the final season of the season.
For those not in the know, Sam Owens has / had a son named Peter that was first name dropped in Season 4. For some reason, the military wants his old schoolwork as evidence in the investigation of the Chrissy murder in Hawkins.
We also pretty much know that Peter is dead. The way Owens acts around Will in Season 2 as the only scientist who is actually determined to save his life, and the implications he makes that he understands the plight of Joyce both heavily imply he has lost a child. This also adds a layer to the whole ‘taking away your son’s precious school projects’ if that son is dead and those are some of the only memories you have left.
Okay so: Sam Owens lost a child, which explains his character motivations in the show. But it’s not quite interesting just ending it there, is it? And why leave this to be seemingly be a reveal in the fifth season where we already have so much else to take care of? Would Sam Owens’ son dying really be that impactful towards the narrative? Would that warrant the copious amounts of references (at least seven just in season 4) to Peter that exist within the show and are still coming out even in recent ST5 BTS pictures?
Something about Peter Owens has to be crucial information in the fight against Vecna.
Let us also remember that those military agents took Peter Owens’ schoolwork as some kind of evidence in relation to the Henry Creel murders, and it was important enough to highlight to the audience.
Let’s go over some facts:
1) Sam Owens has a house in Ruth, Nevada where he lives with his wife. Population irl of only a few hundred people.
2) Henry Creel lived in Rachel Nevada which uh didn’t exist in the 50s during his childhood where he encountered:
3) The Nevada Experiment. Henry happens upon related equipment and is briefly transported into Dimension X before coming back with powers and an altered personality.
4) In TFS, Henry is mentioned to have put a classmate from Nevada in a wheelchair following the events of his trip to Dimension X.
5) Henry was in the care of different doctors before he met Dr. Brenner and moved to Hawkins.
We curiously get no more explanation on this matter; whatever happened in Nevada is probably some of the most crucial information and is thus saved for Season 5. We’ve already gotten most answers that are relevant to Henry’s backstory in Hawkins… but not for Nevada.
Some of the major questions for S5 include:
1) What is Dimension X?
2) What is the actual origin of the Mindflayer and is it an independent sentient being?
3) How did Henry develop powers while in Dimension X?
4) What was the Nevada Experiment and the original Project Rainbow?
Since the military took Peter Owens’ schoolwork as evidence… it means Peter is at least connected in some way to this mystery, if not directly to Henry and probably implies the two knew each-other and were even classmates who worked on projects together.
Here’s the basis of what I propose (to be expanded upon later of course):
Henry and Peter were classmates in their youth fairly likely at this point. Henry and Peter were working together on a project that had them investigating the Nevada cave system. Or perhaps something relating to Area 51 / secret US government stuff. The project has to be relevant evidence since the military took it. This is what led to Henry stumbling upon the dimensional equipment in the cave that transported him to Dimension X.
My question is - what if Peter was also involved in Henry’s disappearance? Maybe he disappeared with him, and this was covered up by the government. Or he was simply exposed to the event but didn’t get transported with Henry, just became severely ill because of this Dimension X virus, and died as a result.
Or maybe Peter was meant to disappear as part of Brenner’s Project Nevada experiment. They didn’t plan for Henry to be there as well, and sure didn’t plan for him to be taken. The whole “rogue staff member stealing the equipment and hiding it inside a cave where Henry just happens upon it I guess” has been weird for a while. Maybe Peter was actually older and involved with P. Nevada, and he was the rogue staff member who hid the equipment? But then how did Henry conveniently get there and why was the schoolwork taken.
I don’t want to make this post too long; but something about this gives me major Will and El parallels in a way I can’t really illustrate quite yet. Boy gets taken under suspicious circumstances that could imply HNL meddling, but this time the supernatural kid is able to save him and bring him back. Owens becomes interested by this and comes to study Will in S2.
Owens also mentions that he has risked his family’s lives for the sake of their research, which I feel is relevant here. He’s talking about the current day NINA Project… but it could of course be a reference to the fact that this happened before, and ended in tragedy.
So wow, that got long! I didn’t even get to mention the Fringe parallels that people have brought up. This is just going to be Part 1 into my investigation of Petergate.
There’s so much promise in this potential storyline that I think really needs to get investigated, so I hope this interested people regardless of whether or not they’ve already come across Petergate. The fact that Henry’s time in Nevada is such a major gap in his backstory really fascinates me as to what they’re hiding from us.

Background Events: Persona Experimentation
Unethical experimentation on Persona Users has been happening since the beginning. But how has it evolved until now?
Warning: Some speculation will be involved.
TW: Human Experimentation
The Beginning
We don't have an exact date for when experiments related to Personas and the Collective Unconscious began. Phil and Nyarly's bet had been going for some time by the time IF took place. However, if we had to place a true beginning to the experiments, we would have to go with Stephen and the Demon Summoning Program. Along with Kyouji Kuzunoha, he's the only SMT character who's also canon to Persona. Makes sense, considering his weird transcendent nature. The tale may vary between franchises, but the Persona version goes like this:
By unknown means, Stephen managed to create the Terminal System to travel through computer networks. Since he's in a wheelchair in IF, then this Stephen also managed to connect to the Expanse (located in the Collective Unconscious) with the Terminal System. Since he didn't have a way to communicate with the demon who crossed and no Persona to defend himself, Stephen was was attacked and subsequentaly crippled. All of this had to have happened before 1996 for the timeline to make sense (Side Note: This also tells a lot about Stephen, since the incident had the perfect conditions for an Awakening).
The incident led Stephen to create the Demon Summoning Program, probably for personal use, since there was no upcoming war to prepare to (that Stephen could have known of). For some unknown reason, Stephen chose to upload the only copies of the program in the computers of Karukozaka High School. Was he an alumni? Did Stephen realize teens had more probability of connecting with the Expanse? Were Karu High's computers just that good? Who knows. Only Hazama and Tamaki took the program serious enough to use it, even if it was against each other. But that's a story for another time.
Like St. Hermelin would in a few months, Karu High briefly made the news before the entire incident was forgotten. That is highly suspicious on itself. My assumption is that there truly were some experimentation going on before this, amd they made sure to silence the press and make sure the students didn't snitch. Since Tamaki managed to hide among the student population as another victim (probably with Stephen's help), they never questioned her on her abilities nor disappeared her.
But who are they? Well...
SEBEC
The first formal organization seeking to gain a foothold in the Collective Unconscious was the Japanese branch of SEBEC, leadered by Takahisa Kandori. Their story goes like this:
When Kandori took over as head branch of SEBEC, they began to undertake the creation of a device capable of transporting matter from one place to another. Kind of like a portal. This had the main objective of helping to lower freight costs of imports and exports. Maybe even erasing them entirely. Key contributors were Setsuko Sonomura (an engineering specialist) and Dr. Nicholai (a scientist). Kandori kept the project so under wraps that those involved basically lived in the installations. Together they created the Dimension Variable Accelerator System, or DEVA System. However, they also pulled a Backrooms and accidentally connected to the Collective Unconscious.
It is probably at this point that Kandori awoke to his Persona, which was hijacked by the real Nyarlathotep. And thus, Kandori became a puppet in The Great Bet while believing he was achieving world domination or something like that. "But, Kati," I can hear you saying, "all of that was about the Collective Unconscious. Aside from Kandori, there were no Persona Users working with SEBEC".
Oh? OH? So quickly you forget about him?
Takeda. The man, the myth, the barely remembered NPC. All we know about him is that he is Kandori's right-hand man, the head of security at SEBEC and a Persona User. We don't even know what his Persona is, only that its couldn't handle the combined forces of the St. Hermelin students. His existence does imply something deeper: SEBEC is already employing Persona Users to their cause. They probably didn't know much about the phenomena (understandable, since they had just finished the DEVA System) and didn't have a definitive way of figuring out who could be a User and who couldn't. For all they knew this could be random. And so, a not-so-stellar security guard rose to become the second-hand man of the main antagonist. Just because he had the same power as him.
As we know, Kandori and SEBEC failed. But what was the fate of the staff that worked on the DEVA System? What about the little knowledge of the Collective Unconscious they had?
New World Order
Due to Nyarly's meddling, the NWO was founded in 1979 after they found Kiyotada Sumaru's head. They might have had supernatural advice from an ancient head and the backup of one of the most powerful beings in the Persona Universe, but no real Persona Users. Not one of those people had their shit together. The closest thing they had was Chizuru Ishigami, who was a sorcerer (most probable given true power by the Rumor Curse). When the time was right, we can assume Nyarly guided them to the remnants of Kandori's fuck up. The NWO revived Kandori and began their recruitment of the now-lost scientists and inventors. The NWO gave more freedom to their researchers than SEBEC did, which eventually led to the beginning of true human experimentation.
We don't see the worst of it unless you play Tatsuya's Scenario, where the hints they leave us are enough to call for a second Doctors' Trial.
Yikes. And this was only one known experiment.
Like SEBEC before them, the NWO also fell. But they weren't the only ones running supernatural and unethical experiments in 1999.
Kirijo Group
With the creation of the Dark Hour, demons shadows weren't only a danger of the Collective Unconscious anymore, at least, as far as the Kirijo Group knew. Now those in the know had to watch themselves every night to avoid being attacked by them. They couldn't always rely on the perfected version of the Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons. That must have been the moment when they began to hear rumors of supernatural events in Sumaru City, which led them to the crumbling NWO.
As it turns out, the entire Death Incident a couple of months ago left a huge vacancy for their supernatural research division. And these guys seem like they have fresh ideas that might just solve their self-created problem! A secret scramble must have taken place where the Nanjo and Kirijo Groups tried to covet all the info and personnel that had anything to do with the NWO. Those who weren't important enough to know the truth behind Kiyotada Sumaru's head and their self-proclaimed high-class greatness could have become the precursors of the Conspiracy.
And so, the Kirijo Group now had better scientists, inventors and researchers than before, and more willing to dab on unethical territory. With the need for defense, the former NWO scientists must have suggested they try to create their own Persona Users, like the ones who kept barging into their labs back in Sumaru. Thing is, no one there knew how a Persona User came to be. They did seem to have the power to control a shadow to do their bidding... maybe all they had to do was link (whatever that meant) a human with a shadow. The survivors of these experiments would become bodyguards for the Kirijo Group's excursions to Tartarus. No one would last long, though.
Skip a couple of years and the unexpected happened:
A natural Persona Awakening.
Note was taken of the factors that had to do with the event: the User was a child and she had been in a highly stressful situation. This is how the Kirijo Group rounded up the 100 children they would experiment on to create Artificial Persona Users. All of them dying except for three: Takaya Sakaki, Jin Shirato and Chidori Yoshino (and Sho Minazuki). This violation to the Nuremberg Code probably fell to the side when Mitsuru found and recruited two natural Persona Users on her own. Nothing like flushing dozens of children's lives down the toilet.
We must remember that the Kirijo Group didn't know everything about Personas, and so believed that the stressful situation with a dash of fear of death was necessary every time the User wanted fo summon their Persona. And so Evokers were created. Better not think of the trial and error that led to those inventions. Nor the one that helped create Persona Suppressants.
Who cares if three failed lab rats ran away? Now the Kirijo Group had true Persona Users with them.
A lot happened after that, but that is a story for another day. What about the hypothetical precursors to the Conspiracy formed from the high-profile members of the NWO? The ones that fell through the cracks during the power vacuum?
The Antisocial Force
For once, this wasn't Nyarly's fault. The basic rich bitches would have remained basic rich bitches if it wasn't for Yaldabaoth. The creation of the Shadow Operatives and the less restrictive hold on Kirijo Group employees probably made all that Persona and Collective Unconscious experimentation more of an open secret in the science community. And like hypnosis, this is one secret that most didn't believe until they witnessed it themselves. Not all were skepticals, and those interested were recruited by Masayoshi Shido for the creation of the Antisocial Force.
They would be the new oppressive entity in this area, suppressing information and giving stitches to snitches. This wouldn't stop "Cognitice Psience" from becoming an increasingly popular field. Who knows what kind of experiments happened in and out of the Antisocial Force. They couldn't have been the only ones.
If there is one thing the new Kirijo Group managed to contain, was the knowledge of the creation of Persona Users. The Antisocial Force didn't even have the research from the original NWO scientists that would help them create Artificial Users. Yaldy had to put an already-Awakened Goro Akechi in Shido's path for them to have a User. And even with an actual User, they couldn't replicate the circumstances that could have helped create more. I doubt Akechi was very helpful with that, though. Can't have any potential substitutes for his job.
Nah, the Antisocial Force's forte would never be Persona Users, but rather humanity's cognition.
So, what was the order of events?
Stephen created the Terminal System and began working on the Demon Summoning Program.
SEBEC began working on the DEVA System.
Stephen completed the Demon Summoning Program.
SEBEC finished the DEVA System and, after Kandori's Awakening, began to recruit Persona Users (at least one other than Kandori).

Round 2 Group 5
The Venus artwork by @whatlizardry
Propaganda and spoilers under cut
Frank the Plant:
Frank spent 10 years at a dog park, where his face was urinated on by a St. Bernard. He was brought to consciousness by Poison Ivy about 20 years before the events of the series and became her roommate at her apartment in Gotham City. Ivy states that, before she met Harley, Frank was the only one who "understood me as me." For this reason, she considers him a best friend. He continued staying in Ivy's apartment while she was serving time in Arkham Asylum. During that time, many other of her plants withered as Frank ate the neighbor kid that Ivy hired to water them as well as his parents.
The Venus:
Her owner (?) Milo, who is a transmasc botanist, relies on her to transport him. She's kind of his wheelchair. ""The Venus is a huge mass of moss and vines covered in pink flowers, with a bloom the size of a trampoline in the center that contains her primary mouth. She is about the size of a house. The Venus is hungry and impulsive, eating any creatures she can. She has a habit of trying to eat people, but acquiesces to Milo's request that she only eat wildlife. Despite occasional complaints, she follows Milo's directions and moves him according to his wishes even when he is stopping her from doing something she wants. Venus seems to have no attachment to humanity in general, but loves and respects Milo. (from the Hello From The Hallowoods wiki)

Name: David Anthony Afton Nickname: Dreadbear Gender: Male Pronouns: He/Him
Twin Sister: @hurricane-heiress
Adoptive Sister: @the-weirdest-and-silliestfriend
Older Brother: ????
A soft-spoken and kind young man, David had a bit of a traumatic childhood that culminated in an awful accident when he was just seven years of age. His father, William Afton, and his 'uncle' Henry Emily owned Fredbear's Family Diner, and David was never a fan of going there, neither was he a fan of Fredbear himself.
The bullying endured at the hands of Michael culminated in an event that the papers called the 'Bite of '83', where Michael forced him to 'give Fredbear a kiss', and the animatronic's jaws clamped down on his head, causing grievous injury.
After a long fight in the hospital, however, David ended up pulling through, but had to relearn a lot of things in order to function normally. He still sometimes uses a wheelchair to get around when he needs it sometimes, and he speaks a little slower, but he's still smart and strong.
Haven forgiven his older brother and formed a bit of a strong bond with him subsequently, David considers himself a fighter. Having taken the time to get past old fears and conquer his nightmares, he now proudly boasts a scar on his head where he, in his own words, 'beat death away', which he characterized as a tall, lanky, puppet-like creature.
David sometimes uses a wheelchair. He often prefers this mode of transportation.
When he doesn't have a wheelchair, assume he has a cane.
David has short brown hair and a big noticeable scar on his forehead/head.
His favorite animatronic is Dreadbear and often likens himself to it, like he was brought back to life.

so i think im going to my first ever pride event in a week and a half, which is super exciting but a little scary. and im also going to a mother mother concert at the start of july!
the last time i went to a mother mother concert tho, i had a lot of trouble with my joint pain and ended up missing a few good songs bc i had to find somewhere to sit. i felt super awful bc one of said songs was hayloft, which my bf was really excited for
that concert was almost two years ago now (holy shit) and since then i got my grubby little mitts on a wheelchair. i’ll definitely be using it at the concert, and maybe pride since i’ve been not feeling well lately and i get heat exhaustion/sickness pretty badly
my question for you, tumblr dot com, is how to make these events a little more accessible and less stressful. i’ve never used a wheelchair in public, in fact i’ve only really used it once when i sprained my ankle and walking was really hard. the chair fits into my bf’s trunk, so transportation isn’t an issue. my current plan is to pack a mini bag with meds, water, maybe a snack??, some alcohol pads (for nausea), and maybe headphones and sunglasses for sensory reasons at pride.
for my chronically ill girlies (mainly ppl with stomach and joint issues, neurodivergent folks, and ambulatory wheelchair users) do you guys have any tips for navigating public spaces? what kind of hurdles can i anticipate?

Solarpunk Review: Once Upon a Time in a World by Antonio Luiz M. C. Costa
Preface: I am continuing with my reviews for the short stories in the book "Solarpunk: Ecological and Fantastical Stories from a Sustainable World". Once again: This book was published in 2012, so it is expected that in many regards it does not mirror modern Solarpunk sentiments. I am sorry those reviews were on hold for a while. As I said: I was quite sick, physically.
Summary
Pagu is a young journalist working for an independent anarchist news network in the future she is living in. Right now people are discussion the morality and sense of sending a couple astronauts to Mars while airing their mission - turning it into a some sort of reality TV. However, while this and the newest developments in renewable energies are what is mostly on Pagu's mind, a group of fascists plan a coup.
General Review
I think my main issue with this story was, that it had too much going on. While it kinda made sense given tit was mostly written fron the PoV of a journalist, so of course she would get to see quite a lot of what is happening in the world. Still, while the three different aspects of the story (astronauts, green energy, and fascist coup) were loosely connected, it was really loosely. In the end it was three different storylines that happened within a story that was just about 30 pages in length. And I think that was just a bit too much, making the events feel rather fast paced.
Still, I think I did enjoy this story quite a bit more than some of the other stories in this book. Mostly because I actually did like Pagu as a protagonist. She was a well defined character, I liked her stubbornness, and how she actually did self-actualize within the story.
The Solarpunk Factor
This might have been in fact the most Solarpunk story from this book so far. At least it weirdly checked a lot of my checkboxes. While there was a violent conflict, this was a conflict against fucking fascists, who were undoubtedly in the wrong. Otherwise we see conflict in the society, but that conflict is between different schools and interpretations of anarchism, as the world we see is explicitly anarchist. While the short story does not have enough time to go into details, we do see that there are anarchist systems in place to get it to work. And the characters discuss different styles of anarchism.
Something I really enjoyed especially compared towards the other stories was, that this story actually just casually had some queerness in there, and also ends with a character becoming disabled, showing us how the society deals with disabled characters. And spoiler: Yeah, other than all the other stories so far it was good. The character needed a wheelchair and they got a wheelchair, while they got also told that they no longer needed to pay for transport fares at all. That was a little tidbit that was nice!
