Finally getting around to posting some of the stuff I noticed at TFS on July 5!! (West end ver, front row!!)

These should hopefully be in order of the actual show: ⚠️ SPOILERS AHEAD!!! ⚠️

- In Patty’s intro scene she did the melvalds dance to the music before getting interrupted by her dad

- In ‘Photo day’, Kenny (ensemble character) motioned to Charles to hit Henry with the paper from the slingshot and he did it and it actually hit him HELP

- In Henry and Patty’s first meeting scene, when Henry is talking about his cipher and getting embarrassed about it, etc etc, when Patty goes ‘that’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard!’ He opens the cipher and shoves it right in her face LMAOO and she starts trying to read it and looks really excited/ interested about it, then while she’s reading henry goes ‘i like your lipstick!!!’ And then gets all embarrassed again and goes to walk away before Patty puts her hand out for the handshake HELP it’s so silly

- Kenny and Robbie (two ensemble characters) did a piggyback of the stage when Joyce says ‘if you’re just here to make out in some high school musical, you should leave now!’ Robbie went ‘let’s go!!’ and Kenny jumped on his back and they left LMAOOO at stage door Jake Mavis (who plays Robbie) said (and I quote) ‘perfect for pride’…I know what you are. 🤨🏳️‍🌈

- Bob meowed when Joyce said to be ‘sexy’ then when she said ‘but also scary’ he full on screamed SO loudly AHAHAH

- In ‘auditions’, Karen fully picked up bob when they kiss and Ted went ‘Karen…PUT HIM DOWN KAREN- KAREN??’ Then when she dropped him she went ‘GIVE HIM THE PART!!!’ To Sue LMAOO

- Henry kissed prancer on the head before killing him in ‘liquor store’

- Patty’s mum was og cast!! And after she sung at the end of the dream sequence, Patty was calling after her going ‘no mom! No! Mama? Wait!’ GONNA CRY

- SHADOW PATTY!??!? Omg I loved July 5th’s so much, she was so more screamy then before and I’ve never noticed the beckoning thing she does to Henry while leading him to the lockers

- Henry and Patty held hands during Patty’s ‘what if it’s not a mistake’ monologue, (like this)

- Then both of them nodded to each other multiple times before kissing and Patty put her hand on Henry’s face THEN said kiss me and waited for Henry to nod again before they kissed STOPP I CANTTTT DEAL WITH THEMMM ARGHH :(((

- They also dance together in the background of melvalds which is adorable, it’s happened every time I’ve gone, even with the ogs, but I have to mention it every time cus It’s just so cute EEE

- In the attic sequence, Hopper (after cutting his arm on the door) went ‘I feel kinda dizzy…why??? I’VE GOT GLASS IN MY ARM JOYCE!?’ Very silly

- Henry’s birthday is September 7th!! It says it in the Henry is 7 video! (I’m yet to find a pic of this as no one has managed to get the top top of the screen in frame which is where it is ughhh, lowkey gonna have to try get it myself next time I go cus I NEED to show you guys, it’s written as: ‘Birth date: Sept 7’ in cursive LMAO (also funny how his birthday is the DAY BEFORE he gets banished to the upside down…)

- Brenners FACE when Henry hugged his leg after being made to kill the rat LMAOOOO bro was like 😟

- Brenner grabbed Henry’s face when shouting at him, then pushed him down onto the floor. He also kept hitting him in the stomach in a teasing way LMAO

- In the scene where Brenner is forcing Henry to make contact with the mind flayer, Patty was hyperventilating :( then when Henry broke out of the mind flayer’s grasp, there was a really sudden switch between flayed henry and normal henry, where the second he broke out of it, it was like he had just woken up or something. He was looking around like he didn’t know where he was, and was looking at his hands before looking at Patty, walking over to her, crouching next to her and going ‘why are you crying’ :((

- While going through the ceiling Brenner went ‘DO IT YOU LITTLE SHIT’ to Henry HELP

- In Joyce and Henry’s talk, when Henry says ‘you think you have control, but it’s BULLSHIT’ he absolutely SCREAMS bullshit at her LMAO it’s honestly a jumpscare it’s so loud

- Henry tried to hug Patty on the catwalk before she pushed him and said ‘Patty please’ as he did this, then when Brenner grabs Patty to rip the wings off her, Henry broke out of the mind flayers grasp for a sec and went ‘NO PATTY’ and tried to reach out to her before going back to being taken over by the mindflayer

- When Patty was falling off the catwalk, she tried to grab onto the side + reached up at the last bit :(

“Papa, I’m chasing a ghost… I don’t know who she is…”

"Am I going to get in trouble?" 011 asked, her doe eyes looked at Henry with sad expression. The same way you used to when one of the children got hurt..

"No.. no why would you think that?" Henry asked in a sickly sweet voice.

During the 'game', it was 002 against 007, who was only 5 at the time. 002 had thrown him hard against the wall with a hard smack.

Y/n looked at the little boy with her sad doe like eyes with an equal sad worried expression. Once the session was over and all the kids went to the rainbow room.

She left to the nurses station to check on 007. She was glad to see him wake but he had bruises slowly forming. She gave 007 a sad smile.

"Look who's awake." Y/n said with a comforting smile. 007 opened his eyes again with a small smile. "I'm really glad you're okay. And I have something that i think is well deserved."

Y/n said leaning forward slightly in the chair whispering to him. 007 looked at her with a curious expression. As y/n reached into her uniform pocket holding out a piece of candy. 007 eyes widened with a smile. Before jumping up and hugging her.

"Thank you, mummy." 007 said. Y/n's expression halted as tears formed in her eyes and wrapped her arms around the little boy.

"Keep it a secret. Okay?" Y/n said, as she pulled away. 007 nodded hiding it in his sweatpants pocket. "Get some rest."

Y/n smiled as 007 nodded laying back down cuddling up next to his stuffed animal.

Y/n got up and walked over to the station getting it ready for the next shift. She closed the door wiping her tears once she got to her room evidently was the one without any cameras. Not noticing the figure that had been waiting for her.

"Why are you crying?" Henry asked concerned. Which caused y/n to jump started by the voice. She let out breathy laugh.

"You really know how to startle someone.." she said. Turning to look at him. He was right in front of her.

"What happened?" He asked/demanded, whipping away the stranded tears with his finger.

"It's nothing. I promise." She replied, Henry was not convinced but let it go. Wrapping his arms around and kissing her.

"You remind me of someone..." Henry said, while sitting next to 011.

011 glances at him her eyebrows furrowed with a little crinkle between her brows. The image of you came into his mind.

"I-I just don't get it.." Y/n said, eyebrows furrowed with a little crinkle between her eyebrows.

"They are so young and have so much ahead of them. But instead they are pit against each other in some sick game.. and some of them aren't even old enough to-" She looked over to see Henry looking at the ground. Y/n sighed.

"I'm sorry.. I just wish that I could help them.." y/n said , the second part barely a whisper.

Henry grabbed her arms and kissed her forehead. She laid her head down on his chest and his arms wrapped around her.

"Someday we will..." he said..

"Who?" 011 asked Henry.

"A girl I used to know. She was confused just how you are now. When she found out what papa was doing... but that story doesn't have a happy ending I'm afraid.." Henry said, his eyes drifting off sadly.

"What...what happened to her?" 011 asked hesitantly. Henry looked at her.

"How about we save that story for a different day.." Henry said, giving the confused girl a slight smile.

  And if Henry was being honest he didn't know the whole story of what happened to the woman he loved for a long time.

  Henry heard 011 got attacked and snuck off to the nurses station to check on her. He saw her and all he could see was you. How her face looked calm and collected yet with a hint of pain etched on to her face. So tired that she couldn't keep her eyes open. Those doe shaped eyes with the long lashes just like you..

"What happened?" Henry demanded his voice almost sinisterly yet also concerning.

  Y/n furrowed her brows slightly in pain as she sat up. Eyes drifting closed and opening. Henry grabbed her before she could fall laying her back down against him. Her head on his chest.

"That day when you saw me crying. I was with 007 i-I gave him a piece of candy and somebody heard him call me..." y/n heisted the last part.

"Call you what? What had lead to this besides you giving him candy?" Henry asked.

  Y/n sat up steadily her doe eyes drifting off. Whipping the tears that were starting to come.

"Somebody heard 007 call me mum..." She whispered.

  Henry's eyes widened slightly looking at her. He gently pulled her back so she was lying on his chest as he ran a hand up her arm comforting her. Not long as she drifted off to sleep her face calm and collected but with a slightly pained expression from the torture he had to endure not so long before he found you.

  That night Henry made a silent vow to get you out of that hell hole. And make a wish for you to come true.

  Neither of you knowing that, that wish, that want was already alive and growing.

"Mama is dead." 011 slightly snapped at Henry.

"And who told you that?" Henry asked. His eyebrows raised with a knowing look.

"Papa!" 011 Whisper shouted. Henry gave her a knowing look. 011 eyes widened with realisation, just like you used too. "Who doesn't always tell the truth..."

Y/n's eyes widened with realisation as she realised why she has been so tired and nauseous lately. Y/n paled at the fact she just bestowed upon.

"Hey, you okay?" Henry asked. As he noticed how pale you had gotten. Y/n nodded slightly before collapsing. Henry caught her as her eyes rolled back.

"You can't see her." A nurse said blocking Henry from seeing her.

  His eyes drifted to see Brenner giving him a stern look and whisper to a guard. As the guard took him away. That was the last time he saw you.

"You will be put into a secluded room and will be watched and taken care of during the 9 months and when you have the baby it will become part of the system." Brenner said sternly. Y/n nodded slightly before looking away with tears.

"I didn't lie 011. When I talked about your mother." Brenner said. 011 looked at him confused.

"Your mother is gone. She had died not long after she had you. It's wasn't because of you.. she got sick." Brenner said. 011 realised.

"Henry said that I reminded him a woman."

"That woman was your mother... and Henry.." 011s eyes widened as she processed the information.

"No.." She whispered. Staring at Brenner in horror.

"Yes 011. Henry is your father and that wom- Y/n is your mother. They were secretly together when they were in the lab. And that is how she had you." Brenner said.

  011 swallowed hard before asking the question she's been pondering on.

"Do I look like her?"

I have a hard time believing that brenner’s goal was opening a portal to the upside down. He seems way to focused on the children. And sure he was interested in the UD but not enough? If that makes sense?

It makes sense to me.

Brenner became obsessed with the Upside Down because of the aftermath of the Philadelphia Experiment. He's no different than the conspiracy theorist who wrote that conspiracy in the first place. (though in the ST world, the conspiracy theory is right)

So in his desire to prove the other world is true and see it for himself, he seemingly somehow contributes in making a super powered kid who has been to the place he's so obsessed with.

He probably thinks this kid can get him to the other world he's so obsessed with seeing, which isn't WRONG but it is the right kid.

Years later after training dozens of kids one of them finally proves once again that the other world is real. He gets it on camera. Not only that, the first kid he was obsessed with is trapped in said other world and is likely more powerful than ever before.

If we put ourselves in the mind of a mad scientist, it makes sense that Brenner is so obsessed with Henry, El, and the Upside Down. Even in season 1 when the Demogorgon came raging through the wall, Brenner just stood there in awe like "Wow this is so cool!!! :D" right before he got pounced.

He's a weirdo. Plain and simple. I guess I don't need much convincing for this piece of the puzzle.

Is this what they had in mind when they were writing season 1? Doubtful, but I'm sure some of it was there. I think they did an ok job piecing together Brenner's story at least.

Eleven will not die, and if you think she will, you're DUMB (with all due respect).

Why it doesn't make sense storywise?

Eleven is someone who spended 12 years of her life in a lab, been used as a weapon to defend the USA against foreigner forces, like the URSS and later the Upside Down. She didn't had a mother, father, or friends, only people that disguised themselves as some of these roles to take advantage of her, like Brenner and Henry. She has a number tattoed on her skin, to show and remember that it is all that she was for them, just a number. Dying defending the USA against the Upside Down would be totally against her character grow, it would affirm that she IS a weapon and died alongside with other unknown people, being just a number. My Queen Eleven can't have a ending like this, i would fucking hate the Duffer Brothers for the rest of my life.

What would it do to the Byler shipp?

Milkvans shippers would spend the rest of their lives saying that Mike only ended up with Will because Eleven died, and it would make my head hurt to hear this for the rest of my life.

brenner lied about dalayrac's nina: how it shows the nina project is not of this timeline/proves it's unreliableness

first let's look at how brenner is telling the story:

ok so he's basically describing the plot of what the audience believes is happening in this opera. however here's what is revealed in it:

so because of nina's descent into insanity, she convinces herself her lover is alive. and her lover was alive the whole time.

here's the definition of psychogenic amnesia:

( ^ off track a little but ok consistent with the "memory gaps" also just thinking about this.. someone else?? referencing henry or something? and this scene is interesting bc el definitely remembers what happened but she didn't want to get two in trouble, at least i think.)

also brenner says that both nina and el "buried the memory"

it also says nina forgets "aspects" of the event. ahem *bodies being different in different shots and different henward jumpsuits*

now, the surface level connection to this would be how brenner at first tries to make el believe that she's the one who committed the massacre before she eventually realizes she never did.

but we all know how fucked the nina project is so let's take it in the other direction. especially how brenner says this:

straight up lie but also what the audience believes until the end of the opera/play

he says this to el's perspective as "if only nina could know her lover is actually dead" but since brenner knows the opera and what's revealed, he means it in a "if only nina knew her lover was never killed"

so nina was techniqually right the whole time.

so if el and nina's stories were to line up and we were to go by what the individuals believes to be true....

el would turn out being right, it would be like nina believes her lover is alive before learning the truth (that hes alive) = el believes she committed a massacre before learning the truth (that in another timeline (or whatever the fuck) she actually did)

also "the truth" is referenced a lot with the nina project but even after el knows the truth that she didn't commit the mass child murder, brenner still says this:
