unless i missed something (which is entirely possible lol), ciri's pov and presence in bof really is that low. the only thing i didn't count for her, as it wasn't exclusively from her pov (which is basically how i measured things btw), was the very first bit about the rats from those villagers povs which was about ~1k words (rounding up.) so even including that, ciri's word count in bof would only go up to about ~4.8k.

also just to note about how i measured things in general: when i say "pov" i do mean exclusively from that character's pov. so, like, a lot of ttots is about ciri but because it's happening from vysogota's pov, i counted it under "other" instead of for ciri. (tbf there are probably exceptions to this, though, as i likely missed some things or just got lazy.) (tbh, the most accurate word count would probably be doing it according to who the thing is actually about as opposed to whose pov it's from but that's just how i did it for this.)

here is a pov word count breakdown of the main book series (i didn't do tlotl, btw, 'cause i'm lazy and doing this is annoying tbh):

ciri: 35.3k

other: 49.4k

time of contempt

ciri: 45.2k

just to note: take this with a grain of salt 'cause it's entirely possible my word count could've screwed up somewhere as that's what happened the last time i attempted this. and the way i broke down the povs may not be how other people might measure things, too, so there's that. BUT! as far as a general picture of the povs in the books goes, i think this probably is pretty accurate to how things look. (i also rounded the numbers a bit, if that wasn't obvious lol.)
