so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

the implication that kipperlilly chose the shatterstar and to worship ankarna/porter still makes me feel so ill.…. like we Know there was a marked change once she did choose it. there’s no world where porter didn’t feed into her mental illness and coerce her into the choice like a powerful adult in her life told her that her rage was GOOD. told her that this fundamental part of her could make her and her friends’ lives better if she chose to worship it. worship him. that they were going to build a better world together 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 im going to throw up

because she's not nameless. her name is ankarna, apparently. adaine found it. adaine abernant, elven oracle, read it aloud to the cosmos and destroyed the oblivati mori.

but buddy does not follow ankarna. buddy follows a nameless god.

the rat grinders do not know the name of the god they follow. they do not know the cause in which they fight for. we were warned by pok, episode 13, that if someone began worshipping ankarna, it would be unsafe. but the rat grinders do not follow ankarna. they follow someone unnamed.

i wonder what would happen if the rat grinders learned her name.

I really don't want Oisin to be a bad guy. Adaine deserves to have a crush on someone, maybe even get her kisses in. I have no theory or anything that would support Oisin being in the RatGrinders and not being a terrible person but I do have this hope in my heart.

I don’t know if it’s just me reading into things, but the way Ruben reacted to Wanda asking about Lucy Frostblade makes me feel like he didn’t want to see her dead. He comes across as desperate for information not to gain insight into what the world knows about her death, but more so to actually just have knowledge of what happened.

Like it hasn’t been confirmed that the rat grinders killed her, but that’s been my belief so far. BUT what if it was just Bitchface Copperkettle who killed Lucy, and she somehow blackmailed or coerced the rest of the party into keeping quiet about it, and that’s why Ruben wants to know what actually happened? Because it was just Copperfuck working alone who murdered Lucy, and so none of the other party members know exactly what happened, but they know to keep quiet to stay out of trouble with Kipperpettle.

The next episode preview with Ruben having blood just SEEPING from his mouth also makes me think that is somehow Lilyshit Kettlekippy’s fault, and it might be a consequence of him maybe spilling info??

So the Rat Grinders have to stall for time right? As long as the entire school (and their votes) are flying around a ship and not back to Augfort Academy by midnight, then Kipperlilly is President. Then the ritual could begin. Then their revenge is complete and nothing could stand in their way!

Unless.......the British doppelganger of your enemy asks a god who should be dead to open a portal to teleport then entire flying pirate ship to the gymnasium like a night vale pteranodon before midnight, making every vote on that ship count because the booth is now technically on school grounds.
