Donna: I can’t find the Doctor, has anyone seen them?
Rose: He’s in the living room listening to music and staring dramatically out the window
Donna: Again? It’s not even raining
Rose: I turned the sprinkler toward the house to see what they’d do

14 looses their voice after a tardis trip involving a train ride through alien mountains and a lot of shouting, and Has A Time.
everything on the planet midnight happened hundreds of years ago for them, so why are those memories still affecting them??
they know that in a few days their voice will be back fully and they’ll be fine. that there’s nothing wrong with them. it's just the effects of overtaxing their voice like they did. they know that.
but with panic clouding their mind? it’s so hard for the doctor to remember that they’re on earth, that they’re in control of their body. they are. that their voice is theirs, just have to wait for it to return, and it will return because this is just what happens when you spend hours shouting so much. they can move whenever they want, get up and go downstairs and out to the tardis right now if they wanted too. that the doctor isn’t on midnight, hasn’t been for years.
and then the terror sets in and then they can’t move they can’t move they can’t move.

This is what Fourteen’s up to today I couldn’t have said it better if I tried
I hope Fourteen is eating lots of Easter Eggs this weekend
I hope Donna finds him passed out on the couch with at least a dozen empty chocolate egg boxes
I hope she puts a blanket over him and lets him sleep it off while affectionately muttering something about him being their alien equivalent of a Labrador because she didn’t realise how much he could eat

It’s the pipeline between “What’s the point of being a doctor if I can’t save you?” “Heal yourself” to “I’m fine because you fixed yourself” for me.

[just after having helped River make a getaway from a heist of an astatine lace shawl — the rarest substance in the universe — without her even needing to ask beyond a simple “hello sweetie” scrawl in the sky] [Eleventh Doctor] “I can see its worth — but Alice is right! What’s so special about a lace shawl?” [River] “Ah, well, lace, you see, is the traditional gift for a thirteenth wedding anniversary…” [Eleventh Doctor] “Wedding anniversary? Whose wedding anniversary?” [River] “Spoilers…!” *winks* [Thirteenth Doctor, reminiscing] “I love River.”
HAPPY THIRTEENTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO THE DOCTOR AND RIVER SONG!

Oh he’s definitely joining an Audubon Society but they’re complaining because he keeps trying to list “other avian species” from “other planets” on his list and they’re convinced he’s making it up. It takes three societies before he finally finds one that lets him stay. They enjoy his stories very much but mostly think he’s just a fiction writer doing some research
Donna immediately doubling her UNIT salary is a: iconic and b: absolutely fuckin necessary when her live in platonic spouse is going to be getting into every single weird little retiree hobby imaginable. You KNOW his ass is joining an Audubon society

Oh my God. Fourteen on his unplanned 10-mile-one-way bike ride, ends up on a bike trail at the top of this huge hill in the middle of nowhere. He looks around and realizes they have no fucking idea where they are. Obviously, the only rational thing to do is to yell “DonnaAAAAAAAAA?”
Nobody hears him but it’s kinda just instinct.

Fourteen’s spent about four hours so far in an ikea today trying to disprove the theory that it is indeed bigger on the inside…the fact they’re still in there should be answer enough.

Do you guys think that Donna’s second wedding dress had pockets? Do you think that it ever occurred to her to wonder why she made sure to make that a priority?

Yes with these names, Pedrosa, Marquez and Stoner amazed me. And Rossi, obviously. Pedrosa was very strong in 125 and 250, because with his stature he had an incredible technique. Above all he took advantage of his weight a lot - as they say, in the pick up of the bike, which was very difficult and he was the first to do it like that. After all we copied him with the technique. Marquez is a beast here (points at head), and the only rider that... I wouldn't tell you that he likes to fall, because nobody likes to fall, but he wasn't afraid of falling. And he was like a pit bull - he always wanted to win, even if he wasn't comfortable on a circuit, even if the bike wasn't going well... He had an unconventional ambition, he always wanted to beat you. He believed in the falls, but he wasn't afraid of falling. So in that sense he is unique. Stoner was a natural talent, unconventional. For example, when the track was wet, with patches of water - he took it on, came out of the box, delivered the track record, took two or three seconds off everyone. So an improvisation and an ability to see the limit of the track immediately, incredible. What a natural talent. Either you have it or you don't. Valentino? Very complete. A person... as a person, naturally very intelligent, very charismatic. A great braker, a rider who could improvise a lot with the bike. When he was racing, [even when tired, with an elevated pulse], he was very lucid. Very complete. He didn't have a super quality… How would I say? (Interviewer: Any [outstanding] quality.) Yes, but it was all very complete.

my cute post about fourteen with the noble family is flying off the shelves, but not enough people interested in the queerness contained within the deeply intimate erotic implications of fourteen/fifteen being consciously inside one another? no fans of science fiction premises queering the visceral physical nature of knowing someone/oneself deeper than anyone else? the queerness of asexual reproduction depicting an intense connection with the self that is nigh-indescribable but is canonically beautiful and loving? the queerness inherent in fourteen's and fifteen's relationship with one another retroactively stretching back to encompass every single iteration of the doctor? the queer ideas encapsulated through depicting one being with oneself like that? the queerness that is pushing the limits of thinking up language about how we relate to our own/others bodies in space/time that is possible in science fiction? nobody think bi-regeneration is very sexy queer-coded?
