No reason.  Hey, you wanna hear my process for deciding which book in my backlog to read next?  First, I go to my library spreadsheet, which I maintain every time I purchase a book.  It has columns for where I bought the book (I’ve owned ALL of the big name e-readers since 2010, so things can get a little messy), series information, when it was purchased, whether I’ve read it before, etc.  It uses formulas to assign each book an initial value between 1-10, based on how long the book has been sitting in my backlog.  10 is the oldest, down to 1, which was bought recently.  Then it adds or subtracts points depending on whether I’ve read each book before (if it’s been marked Reread Eligible, obviously – if not, all points are reduced to 0), whether it’s a favorite book or favorite author, a queer author, or author of color.  The list of book titles and final scores gets copy-pasted into a different, macro-enabled spreadsheet, which will then select a random book from the weighted list; a book with a final score of 15 will have 15 chances to be selected, a book with a score of 1 has 1 chance, etc.  It’s a way to achieve some level of randomization, which is important to me, while still favoring older books, minority authors, and authors that I love.

Danny Phantom as a show is so funny because they literally say in the intro that it's about a guy with ghost powers who is part ghost because of a lab accident and the half-ghost fights other ghosts that are confirmed to be dead people, and then it expects you to not think any further on that

Jedi Masters Kriss and Gios attend a dinner on Coruscant. Avar couldn't be bothered to pretend to care for politicking and Stellan had disassociated hours ago. They kept to themselves most of the evening. Knight Mann did not attend.

bear with me. please keep an open mind. however if you don't want aimless details of this scenario feel free to ignore, there's really not much plot just context.

in this one ame botches a manic magic portal ritual and gets decapitated by accident, and his head disappears but his body is still somewhat sentiment? its not particularly intelligent but it still functions (comically). canada takes his body to england (arthur bc this isn't nationverse anymore) to open a proper portal and him and the body then head (haha) into the unknown dimension to retrieve his head.

meanwhile ame (just a head) is found by rus who is a kind of demon entity of that dimension... they have a "humans are lame" plan to find ame another body and make him an entity too, rus claims it's so he has a friend but ame would be more of a servant by magic system rules and would not be able to return home without the other (not that he knows. rus does though). cana plans to turn ame normal. 🤦‍♂️...

bottom line is, cana (and ame, independently from eachother) squealing like a girl because the demon world is scary, the inherent freakiness of whatever they have going on, iykyk iydyd, ame body walking into walls and ame head carried like a lantern by the scarf and talking to rus. i also like the idea of them somehow messing something up and all three ending up back in the human dimension, except ame is still in two pieces and whatever rus touches visually starts to spiral so they have to go back and fix something. a few more episodes should come after this. ill let you know when i settle on an ending. yay!

There is a calm. A stillness to the air that betrays Jason's mind. He can breathe, ribs expanding with every breath easily. There's a voice in the back of his head, what was he doing just now?

At his feet, crumpled on the floor surrounded by fire and debris is a body.

No.

Not a body.

That's him.

The voice in his head is louder now. It's grief.

And yet Jason can't quite touch the feeling.

"No, I won't," a voice says.

Jason turns, everything slow and distorted, to see two figures. Both dressed in shrouds of black. The taller is a woman, blonde hair cascading down her shoulders in stark contrast to her clothes and the crown of black thorns she wears. The shorter one wears a hood, the shadow concealing their face from view.

The woman sighs, pursing her lips.

"You only get one."

One what, Jason wants to ask. Wants to ask a lot of things, actually, like who they were and what they were doing here.

"I can't," the other repeats. They sound young. Younger than Jason, he thinks. They turn their head, looking up at the woman and Jason barely gets a glimpse of their mouth as they say in defiance, "I won't take Robin."

The world goes cold, then hot, Jason's chest is exploding in pain.

When he wakes up it's to the sound of a heart monitor and the weight of Bruce slumped over his legs.

He tries to piece things together, holding on to a memory that slips through his fingers like water. It only gets harder when Bruce wakes, gingerly holding Jason's head with quaking hands as if he can't believe Jason is real. It only gets harder when Alfred and then Dick arrive, both looking just as haunted as Bruce.

They recount in shaking words that he'd nearly died.

Jason looks down at his hands, feeling the cool bedsheets beneath his fingers and wonders if he was supposed to.

HONEY! It's the way I forgot Papa's cooking skill was Level 10. 😏 He stay whippin' some shit up in the kitchen. He's my test subject for the cozy Jasmine Holiday thing that keeps popping up, today, he was assigned to make Chocolate Chip Cookies. Now I have no clue where the cookies are (they're probably burning in the oven as we speak) because I've been staring at him all afternoon but that's neither here nor there!

Girl, one thing Mel's gonna do is stare at you from the kitchen as he asks you if you're ready to come eat!

Hi, it's me. Long time no see. Finaly decided to make this comic of the idea i got. Even though there is a few... mistakes??? Like in the fic painter can't cry? Plus i'm not good at drawing background and i realise i have no idea what the house look like and it turn so ugly. (Fun fact : it's actually the first time i seriously draw background so i'm happy)

Drawing Sebastian and Sadao wasn't easy, but it just because i draw women most of the time. I didn't wanted to make too feminine, Sadao was worst because he have a baby face and i absolutly didn't want for him to look like a "OwOimafemboy" sort of type.

But they were still fun to draw.

Last thing, painter is so baby in this comic. I mean... he look so small in Sadao's arms. I didn't do this on purpose but it's cute, i guess? (By the way drawing painter was horrible, too much details, i hope he looks okay or at least cute)
