If you're up for it could you explain what is making the Germany government stuff so funny? I can find news articles about it (a coalition is dissolving? There's been tension for a while?) but they're all fairly serious. Thx!
ohhh, sure thing! i'll do my best!
i'll say upfront: this is a pretty serious thing to happen. our chancellor fired our minister of finance, Lindner, which definitively breaks up the governing coalition. germany will likely have snap elections at a moment in which far-right parties are polling extremely well. if news coverage about it seems like people are Worried, that's because, well, they are.
however. the reason it's funny is because our minister of finance was fired. ministers aren't really... ever fired. like, it's not a done thing. i'll fully admit i didn't even know it was an option until yesterday. and our minister of finance wasn't just anyone, he was one of the most mocked and hated figures in politics to germans who vote anywhere left of center.
the coalition that governed until yesterday was made up of the green party, the social democrats, and the neoliberal party (FDP). the FDP is infamous (and i mean, my parents already raised me to hate them for that) for playing kingmaker in coalition governments: they never get all that many votes, but they get just enough that whoever they agree to form a government with will probably succeed. they then tend to force extreme concessions from their coalition partners, because hey, if we walk off, you can't govern at all! so you better play along!
for the past three years, this behaviour has been extremely frustrating for germans who voted for greens or social democrats, because policy from their faction was constantly being blocked by the FDP and often by Lindner personally. the FDP received 11,5% of votes in 2021, but to many of us, it felt as if they were the only party who really had any say in the governing coalition. it made the green and social democratic coalition partners look spineless and passive.
and now, i invite you to imagine how on the day of the US election results, the day the whole world rolled their eyes at the sheer fucking stupidity and pointlessness of it all, at NINE IN THE EVENING, just as germans are getting ready to settle in to bed to dream of nightmare global politics -
the news suddenly breaks that our notoriously invisible chancellor just decided to fire Lindner for that exact behaviour. this chancellor comes out and says, on camera, to the entire sleepy nation, that acting the way Lindner did - blocking necessary policies, refusing to approve budgets unless his party's interests were met - was childish, selfish, irresponsible, and unfit for government, so, whoops, he had to go. shame. coalition over, i guess.
so, politically, that was a long-needed but never-expected moment of triumph for those of us who think the FDP is a clown show made up of human TESLA shares, and it came at a hysterically funny moment.
on a personal level, i can barely explain how uniquely hateable Lindner has always been. he's what would happen if a stock index graph came to life. he hates poor people with a relish; he mocks welfare recipients and would ax minimum wages in a second. he's everyone's business major roommate who shows up in boat shoes fresh off a yacht to discuss NFTs with you. throughout the entire time that he's used his rich boy policy blackmail strategy, he's been smug about it, and he was never taken to task for it, and millions of germans have been longing to throw rotten fruit in his face since 2017. and now we finally get to do it. via memes. on the day of trump's election win.
so that's why it's funny.
#like the cocktail of emotions that Hit last night is utterly indescribable#our chancellor is FAMOUS for not speaking. like that's his whole thing. i've heard him say words maybe twice before#and suddenly there he is. bald. hamburgian. fresh from what must have been the most horrific 15 hour workday of his life.#and just comes out and tells the most annoying bug of a human being in his coalition to fuck off. dare we say iconic#but yeah on the whole things are looking pretty bad 🥰 i'm just a hater so this is great for me#hope this makes sense anon! sorry it's a lot of words!#asks#anon#germany#politics#< for blacklisting purposes lmao

Money In The Houses 💴
To be precise each house can show you something about money, for an example your 6H can show daily services you subscribe pay for like Netflix or HBO. but there are 4 primary houses that specifically focus on and show us about money these are: The 2nd house, 5th house, 8th house and 11th house. They all show resource accumulation in different ways. 2nd house and 8th house are the main houses to focus on for money astrology, secondary would be 11H and 5H then all the other houses have their own subtler money relevancy.
2nd house, The house of Values and Possessions, it shows:
stored wealth like income, earning potential, salary, savings, assets, possessions (like jewels, cars)
- how you spend
- how you earn
- the kind of assets and possessions that you own
- what you spend on
- how you perceive the value of money
- how you save
- The skills and talents you use to make money for yourself
- the state of your financial stability
- Your attitudes on saving
2nd house is money earned through your own personal efforts, the skills that you have, your blood sweat and tears. Money here is made through you and your efforts alone. It is long lasting assets and the kind that are considered when calculating your net worth.
Look at sign ruling this house and the planet. Do they work well together or contradict each other? E.g a Virgo ruled second house with Uranus inside has two energies that contradict one another, Virgo needing to be picky on purchases VS Uranus being impulsive and purchasing what it wants so when these two energies work in the same building you may even feel bad for purchasing things before doing research on it and get disappointed with your purchase because you just went for it in the moment
Finding where the 2nd house ruler planet is in the chart shows the best topics, best places , best way you can earn money that’s beneficial to you.
Eg. If your 2H was in Virgo, look at 6th house what’s inside of it? And where mercury is in your chart. Mercury (ruled by Virgo) in this case shows you how you can can excel in an industry under the topic of the house it’s in. Whereas the 6th house and The planets that would fall into the 6th house, would indicate industries you’d do well in that are a combination of the planets in there and what kind of work you could do/what planet energies you can emphasise to gain more money on your career based on the 2nd house.
5th house, the house of Gambling and risky investments, it shows:
investments in startup companies ,gambling, investing in penny stocks
- how much you may make from investing, gambling and creative endeavours
- Money made from personal hobbies, creative talents and projects
- how lucky you are at earning money from risky investments
- Your approach to gambling
- How you spend resources on leisure activities and entertainment
- Attitudes on risky spending/gambling
- The outcome of your gambling and risky investments
This would be your trading 212 and creative artist placement. I can imagine people that invested in crypto currency back in 2008 and people that purchased nfts having this house active. 5H placements can make you lucky in the industry you are in, it can give you that boost in industries that require you to need to have luck or attention to make it. This can be entertainment stars, the lottery, entrepreneurship or just being really blessed with income from taking risks for fun. I’ve noticed natives with this house active tend to be successful businesses investors, gamblers, fashion designers, actors and artists, because these industries also require a bit of luck to make it, that’s why it’s also known as thie “star” house for celebrities. If planets here are beneficial native just happens to have the right things happen for them at the right time.
Key figures with 5th house active/stellium: Timothee chalamet, will smith, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Calvin Harris, Mozart, Elon Musk
11th house, the house of tangible material gains:
ready to be spent wealth like, liquid cash, profit, products (clothing, food), promotion from work
- money made from your public image and things your known for (fame)
- Your financial status and social standing
- How you can gain profit and wealth online
- Money made from your ideas, goals and inventions
- How money comes easiest to you
- The type of resources acquired from
- What part of our lives we may live in luxury or can afford to spend more on (E.g 11H sag being luxury travel)
11H is on hand liquid cash, things like stocks , disposable income, the tangible stuff that you can actively spend, it’s pretty unexpected too like 8th house except 8th house income comes from places you didn’t know about but 11H gains come from sources you always knew about but are just suddenly now benefiting you out of nowhere. You know how some people can be famous and still be broke, with a prominent or beneficial 11 house, you automatically get money along with the attention from their public image. This is because 11H is naturally the representative of social connections, networking and communities but also because of derivative astrology
The 10th house represents your career, public image and the 2nd house represents money/finances so you count 2 houses starting from 10 using Derivative Astrology (10 => 11) meaning the 11th house represents money made from our career and public image. This is why this is known as the influencer house.
People tend to use their fame and wealth from this house to start businesses. This house works really well with 8H because it kind of forces other people to acknowledge you. It’s a little different from the 5th house in terms of getting money from your inventions -In the sense that the very concept behind your creations bring you material gain whereas 5th house are blessed for expressing themselves and in risky situations (not strictly exclusive to creative arts, but the art industry is naturally a hit or miss industry). This house is very similar to 2nd house however I’d say 2nd house is more long term but 11H is quick and easy, makes you appear wealthy like rappers and celebrities living a lavish lifestyle but don’t have something to fall on if it runs out. 2nd house is longevity and allows a native to live off their assets if necessary.
8th house, The house of inheritance, joint resources and investments, it shows:
inheritance, debt, taxes, investors, gifts, joint resources, insurance, the money people owe you
- how much resources you receive from other people
- How much assets, money and resources you may share with others and inherit
- The individuals you may inherit from, have joint bank accounts, shared resources with that financially bless you
- where your resources from other people come from
- the kind of people and industries that may invest/donate/give to you
- How you handle and manage your debt and loans
- your ability to adapt to financial challenges and a complete change of class or income, essentially how you handle financial transformations
- How much you may leave for others when you pass away
- Your ability to repay financial obligations like debt and taxes
- The financial downfalls or sudden financial gains that come from unexpected sources or a source you didn’t know about (8th house is a house of secrets and in the dark so you don’t really see it coming)
- Attitudes towards other peoples resources and the concept of debt/loans
- What kind of resources, assets and things you may receive from other people
Honestly 8th house covers a lot in finances, it’s the kind of money you get for literally no reason, like you can just be sitting there and money falls on to your lap, it can be known as the nepotism house, resources gained not as a result of your day to day efforts (unless making aspects to 6H/Saturn), but a thing you get all at once as a “here you go, well done!”. You really don’t see it coming either, having a blessed 8H is good but you also need to maintain your inheritance otherwise you can end up losing it all that’s why it’s important to have a grounded 2nd house. The kind of people that tend to have this house active and beneficial would be people that are blessed with money in their darkest of times, natives put in the will of their family, people that marry into wealth, being involved with financial contracts that benefit the native more than the other.
E.g Uranus here would want it’s independence, Pluto would feel entitled to others finances and therefore native would excel in taking money from others, Jupiter is lucky here so you would just be blessed with inheritances and financial gains from others even though you didn’t plan for it.
Also look at the ruling planets of this house, say if you had an Aries 8th house, locating which house Mars is in your chart can show you which kind of places you can be given money from most, E.g your Aries is in 11th house and your Mars is in 3rd House you would make great financial gains on the topic/themes of networking, social media E.g. online companies giving you their products in hope of you trying them, being recommended for bonus or accolades because someone you vaguely know mentioned you to their boss, whereas Mars (Aries planetary ruler in 3H) could also indicate who you get your money from like siblings, people you share your ideas with etc.

I know Ken is notorious for his, um, odd creation habits, but even I’m shocked that it’s been over 10 years of work and THIS is all he has to show for it. I would maybe be a bit more lenient if each new page was hyper detailed or something like that, but as you pointed out in your review, he reused the same images across plenty of panels and so many of his backgrounds are just stock photos. The only way I can reconcile this to myself is wondering if maybe a bunch of that time was eaten up by extensive rewrites to his plans for the whole series, but even then, I’ll be even more shocked if the next volume ever comes out.
So I didn't get into this in the review because I really just wanted to focus on the book and the weird copyright situation that led to its creation, not Ken's personal life or his other endeavors, but he did make something else in the time since The Lara-Su Chronicles' announcement 13 years ago. That being his independent film: The Republic. Because after he left Archie Ken figured he'd move on to a career in Hollywood.
I think this was originally supposed to be a TV show, the pilot episode for which was released in 2010, but then in 2016 he decided to retool it as a commentary on Trump's immigration policies. I think the movie is still somehow not out despite being shot a few years ago, but he put out a trailer here:
youtube
Yes, the trailer really opens with 30 seconds of footage of Trump from CNN. I know writers who use subtext and they're all cowards etc. etc.
At least the cast is clearly trying their best in spite of the material. It's not Birdemic bad. And yes, that's Sean Young. THE Sean Young! Rachael from Blade Runner! I guess Ken's really eager to flex the fact that he's friends with a couple lower-level Hollywood producers.
Anyway, I think he's still looking for a distributor for this. It's truly a mystery why no one was eager to pick this up.
Ken's also said some stuff about how he waited years to put out TLSC: Beginnings as part of the 4D chess game he's playing with the copyright stuff. He has a general idea of what he can do based on the terms of the settlement, but he's eager to push it as far as he can. He tested the waters with things like a few small pieces of TLSC merch and an NFT announcement, to see if Sega would take legal action. In particular, the announcement that he was going to sell an NFT of Shade from Sonic Chronicles was a stunt designed to see if Sega would challenge his claim that Shade is legally the same character as Julie-Su. Since they haven't gone after him, and now it's been a few years, he's taking that as evidence that Sega isn't actively exercising those copyrights and isn't going to fight for this stuff.
There's some logic here. Part of the reason Dan DeCarlo lost his battle with Archie over the rights to Josie and the Pussycats is that he didn't take action against them sooner for making merch and whatnot. It's "use it or lose it" with copyrights. But it mostly just comes off as an excuse. If it was purely a waiting game and he had all this extra time, why did he need to recycle art so much in Beginnings? Why is he only releasing 30 new pages of material instead of a whole graphic novel? Where's the app? Why didn't he spellcheck the damn book?

CURSE UPON YE (Patchouli Knowledge)
DO NOT REPOST / EDIT / TRACE / MONETIZE MY ART FROM OTHER SITES.
Author’s comment:
What an unexpected joke drawing for myself and friends with Touhou Project discussion. I did it for fun and some experimental brushes. Patchouli is my favorite of all Touhou's characters, she's really cute and I love her nightgown, librarian woman. Say, when you go the assets website to download, you saw really cool brushes & sets. You used it once and never picked up it up again. Well, it's time to go back with studies and use of old tools! I have to say; after I've bought CSP V3 stock version to upgrade, I'm pleased with all updates to use some convenient tools. I'm hoping that V4 update to consider facial expressions for 3d heads. My point is that, you've bought CSP's new version to make purpose out of it. You used it once that's already served. It is okay to not used it again, and perhaps if you want inconsistent painting just for fun, you do it for bored and pick it up. Nothing is wrong to stray away your artstyle as long as you're experiencing the studying niche tools, it's great to take a break from your main projects. That's all I'm talking about, please enjoy my doodling artwork and share your friends. I may not able to do this again but I promise, if I get burned out or curious to do something else; I'll make a funny drawings out of it. Happy Spring!

When a company decides they want to take their business venture forward and have it publicly traded, the Securities and Exchange commission (SEC) mandates the heads or owner of the company file a S-4 registration statement. This gives possible investors a background on the owners of the stock in questions past business dealings. Did they exceed expectations for growth in their previous companies? Was there any litigation or leans? What were the profit margins? This enables investors to make an educated and thoughtful decision before investing.
Since the 80’s it has been Trump’s priority to portray wealth. The golden decor, the foreign model wife, huge 747s with his name plastered on them, his name plastered on buildings, hotels and skyscrapers worldwide. This giving the illusion of success. What’s lesser known is often the buildings that bare his name do not belong to him nor are they financially affiliated with him. Some are. Some are just a marketing stunt that the name, Trump, brings luxury to, or used to, mind.
When the idea of making Truth Social a publicly traded company was introduced it was mandated that a S-4 registration statement be made public before the SPAC, Digital World Acquisition Corp could move forward with the merger of Truth Social and Technology Group Corp. it reads as follows.
Entities associated with President Trump have filed for bankruptcy protection. The Trump Taj Mahal, which was built and owned by President Trump, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1991. The Trump plaza, the Trump Castle, The Plaza Hotel, all owned by President Trump at the time, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992. THCR, which was founded by President Trump in 1995, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2004. Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc, the new name given to Trump Hotels and Casino Resort after its 2004 bankruptcy, declared bankruptcy in 2009. While all the forgoing were different businesses than TMTG, there can be no guarantee that TMTG’s performance will exceed the performance of those entities.
It continues,
Trump Shuttle, Inc, launched by president Trump in 1989, defaulted on its loans in 1990 and ceased to exist by 1992. Trump University, founded by President Trump in 2005, ceased operations in 2011 amid lawsuits and investigations regarding the company’s business practices. Trump vodka, a brand of vodka produced by Drinks Americas under license from the Trump Organization, was introduced in 2005 and discontinued in 2011. Trump Mortgage,LLC a financial services company founded by President Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. GoTrump.com, a travel site founded by President Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. Trump Steaks, a brand of steak and other meats founded by President Trump in 2007, discontinued sales two months after its launch. While all these businesses were in different industries than TMTG, there can be no guarantee that TMTG’s performance will exceed the performance of these entities.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s all a lie. An illusion. Smoke and mirrors. The fortune Trump’s father left to him, Trump squandered quicker than he could recover, leading to a lifetime of shady deals, loans from foreign banks, failed get rich schemes and grifting.
Oh my the grift is strong in that one. From digital trading cards, NFT’s, ugly sneakers, bobble head dolls, $100k watches, madeIn china, sold from a strip mall in Wyoming, there’s ornaments, a $60 Bible, also made in china for $4, where the gold edged pages stick together, heck! He’ll even sell you a piece of the suit he was wearing when he was shot at in PA.
Another financial stronghold of Trump is to simply screw over people. Whether it’s not paying contractors who worked on his properties, not paying employees at his hotels, confiscating their tips as well, suing models who worked at his agencies for defamation, a charity, The Trump Foundation, was found guilty of fraud, stealing from those in need to line his pockets, or trying to cut out the very people who created his TMTG company in the first place. Trump doesn’t seem to care who he stiffs, as long as it benefits him.
The new and most lucrative venture is campaign donations. Whether it’s billionaire oligarchs who are buying favor, or little old Mr and Mrs MAGAdonia, Trump will happily take your money.
Lord knows he needs it. Between owning his rape victim 90 some million dollars and counting. The over half a billion dollars he scammed from New York he has to pay back. The hundreds of millions of dollars in lawyer fees. Not to mention upcoming cases and his lavish lifestyle. Things might get tight.
As you can see it’s a fake. A failed businessman who couldn’t just take the money his father left him and sit on an investment. He wanted fame. He wanted power.
After a lifetime of pursuing fame and power, a lifetime of fraud, cheating, grifting, ripping people off, and skirting the system has come back to haunt him. Accountability is knocking. Eventually it will kick in the door.

if a company was never going to pay dividends or do stock buybacks, the stock would presumably be worthless. It's hard to be sure because of nft's and bitcoin but presumably. This stock that you buy to sell it later, you're either selling a promise of a future share of profits, or... idk, the thing youre imagining doesnt really exist i think, or it's bitcoin can you name a specific stock that you think works like this?
oh! yes. great question. thank you for forcing me to specifics. TSLA! (circa 2021)
this valuation has to be what, 90+% speculation? theres no way anyone thinks that TESLA will be more profitable, produce more buybacks than the rest of the car industry combined. i think a huge portion of the stock market is like this. i reblogged a thing about this recently but i cant find it, the change in the stock market over the last 10 years is almost entirely the top 10 companies

"Your mind makes it real"
So I was watching the new Folding Ideas video on meme stock and how a cult formed around a number of ideologies regarding financial systems and short selling.
I like watching videos like this. Dan Olsen does a number of good videos on different online conspiracies such as Flat Earth and NFTs and then you have HBomb doing the same thing with anything from Colecovision to the war on christmas and alt right grifts.
And whenever I research these sociological trends I become uncomfortably aware of the fact that I exist within one of these little closed circles. (Well, more than one given the communities and support groups around psychology and mental health, but I'm here to talk about Kink today)
Hypnosis, especially within our community, is entirely held up by a series of beliefs with an internal language that creates a massive divide between those in the know and those out of the know and it literally only works because we believe it works.
In many ways what we do is as much sociology as it is psychology.
And I kind of that it's okay for that to be true so long as we all occasionally remind ourselves of that fact and never abuse the power we each possess as authors of that shared narrative, because much like under hypnosis our hypnotees are suggestible and need to have care in what we provide to their open mind, educators within the community have an eager and open audience that stretches further than we know and regardless of intent, our beliefs and teachings will become their facts and reality as surely as had we have programmed a hypnotee to believe them as they wake on the count of 1--2--3!
Okay. Let me break this up a little.
Does this mean I think hypnosis is fake and we're all just going along with it?
One of my partners and I have had conversations about subjectivity in both hypnosis and mental health spaces before and we hate that one of the most approachable quotes comes from an author that leaves a bad taste in our mouths.
"Of course it's all happening in your head [...] why on Earth should that mean it's not real?"
One of the big differences between the online erotic hypnosis community and the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists) who rue our existence is that we do not require legitimacy to function when they themselves exist in a half-truth state where when receiving both of my certifications it was impressed that we needed to perform an uneasy dance of providing services without practicing medicine because hypnotherapy is not licensed psychology in the same was that chiropractors are not performing medicine.
Within *certain portions* of hypnokink we are perfectly okay with the idea of being wrong and of sharing ideas.
Wiseguy said it best in his class "The best induction is the one that works" and what works works because it is effective in that moment between that particular hypnotist and that particular hypnotee.
Likewise, the more educated a person becomes, the more effective hypnosis becomes. Understanding trance is a tool to achieve it faster. Even a cold hypnotee who is being introduced for the first time receives an education via pre-talk which we tend to believe is more important than the induction itself.
You know what I mean when I talk about pretalk, right?
"We all go in and out of hypnosis multiple times a day" "Highway hypnosis" "Flow state"
These are all real and observable things and we can view hypnosis impacting a mind on an EEG.
Hell even Oh No Ross and Carrie (a podcast where they join insular communities with intent to learn if they are cults/grifts) did an episode on hypnosis and conceded that the principals of suggestibility, hypnotic state and conditioning are all just... how the brain works... and that you can't really dive into fact/fiction when it's essentially telling a person to do something and they either do it or they don't.
It's not mind control. It's suggestion and even within our circles we all agree that mind control is a fantasy.
So I guess... it's as real as we all agree it to be.
The issue is that group agreement of all the little elements is held up by The Community as a whole and... maybe we should talk about the vulnerabilities at play there.
What do I mean when I talk about insular communities?
Recently I read a REALLY good line on a quote on Twitter that speaks to what I mean here:
And this is what I mean when I talk about belief systems inside and outside of the community. It's a good post as I firmly agree with what it communicates.
The Online Hypnosis Community is a term with no specific borders. In my reality it's the orbit that happens to take place around those who are known, trusted and teach at the primary US erotic hypnosis convention circuit.
However I know that in reality the online hypnosis community contains multiple pools and factions that I either strictly ignore, such as ones surrounding dangerous figures like NeuralNets and Nimja or ones I am not close to, like local kink scenes for cities across the world including those where English is not a first language or mlm communities where I do not really have a place, to niche pockets such as the furry hypnosis community, dronekink and even the tiny little subniches such as Empty Spaces and HDG which have splintered off into entire little separate universes with their own language and core beliefs.
For the most part this is a beautiful thing. What I'm describing is no less a divide between interests as being a member of the "Video game horror" scene and not visiting the niches of Indie Game Horror, Japanese Horror, creepypasta mods and such.
Every community has pockets like this.
But the more specific and tight a community becomes, the more "insular" it is. Language and widely held beliefs begin to gather in tighter pressurized windows. One need only look at how brainwashing and conditioning are viewed collectively in darker corners to see the difference and this is to make nothing of things like political and social beliefs in certain corners.
In those dark corners "You can't be hypnotized to do anything you don't want to do" is an essential lie WITHIN their insular community so that they can maintain a degree of plausible deniability and power over their people.
So what's your point?
That is the question, isn't it?
I guess the answer to that is... "always question what you believe, why you believe it and don't assume everyone around you does or should think the same thing."
When discussing red flags in the community on Discord and Twitter with other educators, I've always said the biggest red flag an educator can have is teaching that there is believing they have all the answers.
ALL OF US are working in this space from a belief system. An organic and living one which is impacted by our interactions with the kink, with one another and with the world around us.
No one individual in our community holds all the answers. Not me, not the authors of the manuals that we push, not Richard Nongard, Milton Erickson.
It also means we need not be defensive about our hobby and beliefs. Many will never accept what we do as actually having any basis in reality and that's okay. We're making spaces for play and some will just see us as overactive roleplayers who are tricking ourselves into believing things and to that I always say:
"You're dang right we are. That's the point."
It's not magic. It's not hard science. It's just belief, confidence and a willing to play along.
I could bust out the EKG studies or describe the altered states of consciousness and I will ALWAYS preach how suggestible a person is in and out of hypnosis and the dangers of what we do because those dangers are real and present. But at the end of the day, I want to take a moment and evaluate "what if I'm wrong?"
And the correct answer to that is "will I or someone else be hurt by my ignorance or misaction" and act accordingly.
But that's me. That's my belief system and I am aware of the fact that what we do is entirely built upon our belief that it works and that we are being safe and sane and fun.
That doesn't make me right. That doesn't mean I didn't learn some bad lessons.
It just means I want to keep doing better and I trust that the people around me are all doing the same. With hope of growing. Learning more about individuals and the community as a whole and trying to make this place better.
Because... if I stand in front of a room and teach a class that carries some bad ideas. They'll take seed.
And let me tell you something...
This community is FULL of bad ideas
I've been here since the early days. I was there when Warp My Mind and Wendi.com were the two sites that popped up when you went searching for files. I was there during the implosion of Inraptured and the transphobic meltdown of Isabella Valentine. I have witnessed hypnocon board after hypnocon board fall apart. I've seen scandals and dramas and chaos.
I was there when Bimbopolitic was outed as a CIA plant for fucks sake. Please don't ask follow-up questions. My head is still spinning from that saga of events.
and that inevitably means I have internalized some dumb shit in my day. I've been unlearning it as much as I can over the past 5-6 years. But it's there.
Likewise a lot of the books I read and grew up on are based on the beliefs of less than wonderful human beings. Milton Erickson is no rolemodel, but damned if his theories aren't worth looking at.
This is one thing I respect about sleepingirl's NLP Book. The conceit was to study what PUA instructors taught and see what could actually be used from an objective standpoint. Actually interrogate the beliefs of NLP from a "I don't know anything" standpoint.
If I have any point in my whole ramble of a post it's that. Approach learning things with the curiosity of someone who is willing to learn and doesn't know any better but with the wariness of someone who has been burned too many times and knows that there's bad actors all over and everything needs to be turned over a few times to examine.
At the end of the day I just want a safe community full of positive ideas and if there's one thing I've learned about hypnosis it is this "positive associations stick, negative suggestions are harder to ground"
Both in the good way and the bad. Unlearning things is hard.
Let's just be aware that we're all playing in the same sandbox. Share our tools and try to build something beautiful.
and never stop asking "...am I sure about this?"
*Shrug* Or don't. It's just a suggestion <3
#camden posting#hypnosis#hypnokink#community resources#this is mostly just a ramble#but something I wanted to air out#dunno how worthwhile it was to say anything#maybe it'll spark a discussion#hypnokink writings

Amy looked at the website with confused apprehension. "ApeFist.net" it was called, the design looking straight out of the early 2000s; a simple gif of a starry night sky repeated ad nauseum forms the whole of the background page. "I thought Geocities died?" she thought.
At the fore of the webpage there was a small box for text input with the words "Make your Wish" sitting above it.
At first Amy laughed at it. The link had been spammed by some raider on her favorite trans support discord; it was stupid to even click on it, but she was compelled to check what it was in hopes that it was some kind of NFT scam - she loved making fun of NFT bros and so did most of the server.
She didn't really believe in wishes either, certainly not those given out by a webpage less modern than Craigslist. However that does not mean she had nothing to wish for. Amy's transition was a lifesaver, but her personal results are much less than she was hoping for. She started at age 19 and now at age 24 she's worried that the bulk of her transition is over. Her tiny mosquito bite tits can barely fit an A cup and her hips are practically non-existant - this combined with a general lack of confidence keeps her from being very confidant in her personal style.
After a couple minutes of consideration, she shrugs her shoulders and types into the box.
> I wish I had the body of a thick goth girl with big boobs.
She hit enter and immediately felt silly, she basically just fell for an equivalent of chain mail.
That was before the burning started.
A fire erupted in Amy's chest as she keeled over into the fetal position. Her chest began inflating outwards, settling at two jiggly mounds that were about the size of basketballs. Her stomach grew outwards with a healthy layer of fat as her hips and ass ballooned, giving her that super thick hourglass figure. Her skin prickled as it slowly lightened to a near pale white, her hair itched as it turned into a stylish black bob, and her clothes melted into a simple all black outfit.
When the pain subsided, she took stock of her body; grabbing at her curves and pawing at her crotch to realize her little e-dick had even turned into a pussy. She looked back to the computer to see not the wishing website but... a webcam software? Why was that...
She immediately became drowsy, the late golden hours of the sun shining through the window as it fades ever closer to nightfall. She passes out onto the couch.
---
Amy awoke to the sound of... Moaning? She was sitting up now in what felt like a desk chair. When she opened her eyes she could see through the groggy glaze a computer screen with... herself on it. Her new, goth self at least.
She was squeezing her tits and moaning provacatively into the camera - Amy could see the name at the bottom of the stream: "bigtiddygothgf".
As she came more and more to her senses she expected to feel what her body was doing on the stream, but as she became more intune with her body she became aware of a different stimulation. A hand wrapped around her cock.
She looked down, the messy contents of the desk flashing by her view before it settles on her body. A hairy man's body with a much bigger cock than she'd ever had before. She wanted to freak out, to scream, but all she could let out was a loud grunt as her hand continued to mercilessly jack off her huge, hard, manly cock.
She saw the username next to the chat input textbox: "FatBalls88". 88? Was she a 35 year old man now? The thought died as the stroke of her hand passed the head of her cock once more, matched by the perfect bouncing of the goth girl's tits on the screen.
"Fuck... So hot..."
She didn't say that! Or... did he? She was slowly losing context for why she was here, memories of her life as Amy, her job, the struggles of her transition, the events just preceding these, all began to be replaced with "Adam". Adam is a 35 year old self proclaimed "deadbeat"; in truth he's not doing that bad, he's got a fine apartment, a good job, and he keeps in reasonable shape. What he does not have is a girlfriend, explaining his semi-excessive spending on cam girls.
Amy fought back against these thoughs. "I could use a beer, that would help." She thought before realizing that was more of Adam consuming her. Amy was being deleted from all sides and shlacked over with Adam as s-s-- he came ever closer to cumming.
*click*
"Oh! Thanks for another donation FB! You're my favorite viewer." the girl smooched out at the camera while jiggling her massive tits with her hands.
Adam exploded, his eyes rolled back into his head as white hot cum splattered the bottom of his desk. His chair creaks with strain as his limp body leans further and further backwards. The absolute destruction of whatever remained of Amy and the sudden influx of everything that was Adam left the man dazed for quite awhile only to gain awareness of a ticking sound from the stream.
A spinning wheel full of the names of everyone who donated this stream stuck in front of the visage of "bigtiddygothgf". Adam grunted primally, angry that he could no longer ogle the tits, until...
"Omg FB congrats! Y'know you're my best supporter I think you deserve it the most. DM me and we'll see where we can meet up!"
Adam shook off his lusthaze and remembered: the promise of this stream was that each $1 donated gave you a chance to meet up with the goth cam girl and fuck her live on her next show.
Knocking trash and old beer bottles to the floor he rushed to attention at his keyboard and slid into her dms to set a date.
"Finally," he thought "I'll have that body all for myself..."

Remember when some redditors propped up Gamestop stock to prank Wall Street traders…
only to become an apocalyptic cult, appointing the failed CEO of a pet supply shop as their oracle
and themselves as the righteous faithful out to expose Wall Street corruption through the beleaguered vessels of Gamestop and Bed Bath and Beyond, whose second coming will crash the market and allow the real (not fake) stock owners to exploit a glitch that grants them infinite money, lets them hold the world monetary system to ransom, forces the US government to accede to all their demands, anoints them god-kings, and transforms the world.
No really. This is a comic, tragic, what-the-fuck-is-happening-you-can't-be-serious-oh-hell-they-are-serious video that I highly recommend, along the same lines as that "A BOOMERANG!" takedown of Sherlock. It's funny but it's long, good background for knitting, phone games, or doing chores.
youtube
(The author's "Line Go Up" vid on crypto and nfts is also amazing— but more sobering, as their cultists proponents really do have some impact on the real world.)

ridafi14 said: Youre about the last person i expected to be cool with AI art filters
My contrarian hot take about AI Art that makes everyone mad is that there are inherent limits to what a pattern-matching neural network can do and we're approaching those limits very fast, if we haven't hit them already, and will settle on being a novelty toy for surreal stock images and highly-rendered images of anime girls with big hullabalungaloos, and thus not really be a huge threat to any artist who can survive in a world that already has a nigh-infinite supply of mediocre hullabalungaloo art. AI Art can produce mediocre crap more cheaply than a human artist, but so can a crap artist, and crap artists already exist. I am one! Nothing's changed! I've tried using AI Art for a project so that I could do more projects, and it failed pretty miserably at doing anything I wanted it to do. And if it's not good enough for a hobbyist to make a Legend of the Hare visual novel for fun, what is it good enough for?
Same with, like, ChatGPT. I've tried it. I like that it "remembers" things. It's only a matter of time before someone plugs the Dungeons and Dragons SRD into it and makes a super cool mod for a Virtual Tabletop. But it hallucinates too much to be useful for nonfiction and it's too boring and generic to be fiction, so what's it actually gonna do?
And, yeah yeah, "The tech'll get better". But maybe it won't! Google Translate has been around for decades and yet the Universal Translator still eludes us. Self-Driving cars have been around the corner for ten years, and that tech has seemingly hit a wall (and several children). There's no guarantee that MidJourney in 2030 will be much that better than MidJourney now. The people saying AI art will replace artists were also saying Bitcoin would replace money and then NFTs would replace art.
To me, Clip Studio's "Shade Assist" is the first "AI Art" tool (Actually Clip Studio doesn't call it "AI" at all, to my knowledge) that I've seen and gone "Okay, this probably matters". Not because it'll keep me from having to learn shading, because AI will always be a bit fucky and require a human eye to fix, (even I can tell that furry's legs ain't right, the whites of her eyes got made purple, etc) but because it'll save real artists a bit of time. And that, to me, is where all these "AI" tools will ultimately end up. Novelty crap no one likes and productivity tools artists use happily alongside 3D models.

Jobs Hamlet characters would have because I said so <3
Hamlet: Nepo baby who has the freedom to pursue whatever he wants! His indecisive ass is still wondering what to do though.
Horatio: Seems like a personable dude! Would probably do well as an Uber driver with the end goal of becoming a teacher or something that serves the greater good of his community :’)
Laertes: Onlyfans model Something in liberal arts! Maybe has a degree in literature or other from that fancy-ass French college.
Ophelia: Takes way too much shit with a smile on her face. Is lowkey going crazy. Retail worker, possibly a Starbucks barista!
Claudius: Tech bro :/ killed his CEO brother to inherit the stocks. Probably got Gertrude into Bitcoin.
Polonius: Financial Analyst to Claudius. Loves screwing over his employees. Thinks his son is a disappointment for pursuing liberal arts and not NFTs.
Gertrude: She’d be one of those Gwenyth Paltrow-type of millionaires who sells the weirdest shit for overblown prices. Hamlet prefers not to mention her career.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern: Minimum-wage McDonald’s workers 😔 they probably befriended Ophelia over not being able to join the workers’ union, lest they all get fired. Rosencrantz does have aspirations to be a tattoo artist, and Guildenstern is working on starting a band.

Lift (2024)
I rewatched the “original” Ocean’s trilogy not too long ago. 2024’s Lift aspires to play in the same league. It's no Ocean’s 11 but it’s so much better than Ocean’s 12 and Ocean’s 13 that I left feeling positive. Compared to other big-budget heist films or heist-like action films (the Mission: Impossible series), this is standard fare. With a fairly predictable plot and underutilized characters, I should be much harsher on it than I am now but what it does well pushes me to recommend it.
Cyrus (Kevin Hart) leads a crew of international thieves: master of disguise Denton (Vincent D’Onofrio), pilot Camila (Úrsula Corberó), safecracker Magnus (Billy Magnussen), hacker Mi-Sun (Yun Jee Kim) and engineer Luke (Viveik Kalra). Interpol agent Abby (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) is THIS close to apprehending Cyrus when her boss, Huxley (Sam Worthington), asks her to recruit him for a dangerous mission. Lars Jorgenson (Jean Reno) has hired the criminal hacker group Leviathan to unleash a massive flood in Europe. Through his investments and stock manipulation, he’ll make billions while thousands die. There’s no way to convict him in time. The only way to prevent the impending catastrophe is to steal the gold he’ll use to pay Leviathan - a job made for Cyrus and his crew.
I bring up Ocean’s 11 because it’s impossible not to compare this film to it. Essentially, everything this film does wrong, the 2001 picture did right. While the flood that will kill all those people means the stakes are high, they’re too high. A part of you knows the mission will succeed. That’s sort of always the case, but I’d argue less so in a movie like Ocean’s 11 where there are two plots: one about the heist and one about the love between the lead thief and the lady who got away. Did I mention that Cyrus and Abby were briefly an item? Another uncertainty concerns the crew: if the heist is a success, it does not guarantee that they will stay together or that gulp everyone will all make it out alive. At making you wonder about the characters and the team, Lift fares ok. I say this because some members of the crew seem almost useless. The best example is Denton, which is unfortunate because Vincent D’Onofrio has great chemistry with Kevin Hart.
I enjoyed the film but have a few more criticisms before telling you why Lift is worth seeing. It’s subtle, but I would argue an essential part of every heist film: it doesn't make the thieves sympathetic. The characters are charismatic, they're not flat-out evil like Jorgenson (who gets to be cartoonishly villainous by the end), but when you lay it all out, they’re motivated by the same thing as he is: money. While Cyrus also has his eyes set on Abby, the film begins when he and his crew steal a Van Gogh to sell it on the black market. With the money, they buy an NFT, whose value they increase as a way to profit even more. While their scheme is clever and that goes a long way, the Van Gogh they stole is never seeing the light of day again and they don’t care, which makes them unlikable. The film tries to counter this by giving us what is essentially a second villain, Abby’s boss at Interpol, but the things the movie does to make him detestable feel contrived, particularly considering how many lives are at stake. I do think it’s a good bit of casting, however, as I’ve always found Sam Worthington a bit abrasive.
Now, let’s be more positive. Any film like this is inherently entertaining because it builds suspense. The plan is laid out. You see how complicated it is. You start tallying how many things could go wrong. Whether Cyrus and the others are on the right side of the law or not, they’re professionals at what they do and that’s always compelling to watch. Jean Reno is fun to hate so you want to see him fail. Kevin Hart and Gugu Mbatha-Raw have good chemistry. You want them to see their characters together. I’m particularly impressed with Hart because this is not a comedic role. I wouldn’t call this movie serious and this isn’t the first time he’s done a non-comedic film (The Upside is an example) but director F. Gary Gray uses him correctly. He banks on Hart's charisma and screen presence to carry us through the problems that might come from this kind of story and it succeeds.
Lift (clever title) has a bit of romance, plenty of suspense, high stakes, action and charismatic actors, along with everything you like about heist films. It’s not reinventing the wheel and because it isn’t, you'll foresee several developments in advance but that’s ok. It wins points for being the kind of film you could only make now (NFTs and other modern technologies have a prominent role) and for being available “for free”/for the price of a subscription. If they make another, I’m interested. (July 17, 2024)

The Importance of Tokens in Building a Robust Crypto Investment Portfolio
Introduction
Cryptocurrency has revolutionized the world of finance, offering new opportunities for investment and innovation. Central to this ecosystem are tokens, which serve as the building blocks of blockchain technology. Whether you’re a seasoned investor or a newcomer to the crypto space, understanding the importance of tokens is crucial for building a robust and diversified investment portfolio. This blog will explore the different types of tokens, their roles, and how they can enhance your crypto investment strategy.
Understanding Tokens
What Are Tokens?
Tokens are digital assets created and managed on a blockchain. They can represent a wide range of assets, including currencies, utility functions, rights, or even tangible assets like real estate. Unlike cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, which operate on their own standalone blockchains, tokens are typically built on existing blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Solana, or Binance Smart Chain.
Types of Tokens
Tokens can be broadly categorized into three main types:
Utility Tokens: These tokens provide access to a product or service within a blockchain ecosystem. For example, Ethereum’s ETH is used to pay for transaction fees and computational services on the Ethereum network.
Security Tokens: Representing ownership in an asset, security tokens are similar to traditional securities like stocks and bonds. They are subject to regulatory oversight and offer investors certain rights, such as dividends or profit sharing.
Governance Tokens: These tokens grant holders the ability to vote on decisions affecting the blockchain network or project. Examples include Uniswap’s UNI and MakerDAO’s MKR, which allow users to influence the direction of their respective platforms.
The Role of Tokens in the Crypto Ecosystem
Tokens play a pivotal role in the functionality and governance of blockchain projects. They enable decentralized applications (dApps), facilitate transactions, and incentivize network participation. By holding and using tokens, investors and users can interact with various blockchain-based services, participate in governance, and contribute to the growth and security of the network.
The Importance of Diversification in Crypto Investments
Why Diversify?
Diversification is a fundamental principle of investment strategy. It involves spreading investments across different assets to reduce risk. In the context of cryptocurrency, diversification helps mitigate the inherent volatility and uncertainty of the market. By investing in a variety of tokens, you can balance potential losses with gains, thereby protecting your portfolio from market fluctuations.
Benefits of Diversification
Risk Reduction: By holding a mix of tokens from different projects and sectors, you reduce the impact of a poor-performing asset on your overall portfolio.
Increased Opportunities: Diversification exposes you to a broader range of investment opportunities, increasing the likelihood of high returns from successful projects.
Stability: A diversified portfolio is generally more stable, as gains in some assets can offset losses in others, leading to more consistent performance.
How to Diversify Your Crypto Portfolio
To effectively diversify your crypto investment portfolio, consider the following strategies:
Invest in Different Types of Tokens: Include a mix of utility, security, and governance tokens to benefit from various use cases and value propositions.
Spread Across Blockchain Platforms: Invest in tokens built on different blockchains, such as Ethereum, Solana, and Binance Smart Chain, to leverage the strengths and innovations of each platform.
Incorporate Stablecoins: Stablecoins like USDT and USDC provide stability by being pegged to a fiat currency, offering a hedge against market volatility.
Consider DeFi and NFTs: Explore the growing sectors of decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for additional diversification and potential high returns.
The Strategic Role of Tokens in Your Portfolio
Enhancing Liquidity
Tokens, particularly those on popular blockchain platforms, often have high liquidity. This means they can be easily bought or sold without significantly affecting their price. High liquidity is essential for managing a portfolio, as it allows investors to quickly adjust their holdings in response to market changes.
Yield Farming and Staking
Tokens enable yield farming and staking, which are popular methods for earning passive income in the crypto space. Yield farming involves lending or staking tokens in DeFi platforms to earn interest or additional tokens. Staking, on the other hand, involves locking up tokens to support the network’s operations and receive rewards in return.
Governance and Voting
Holding governance tokens allows investors to participate in the decision-making processes of blockchain projects. This involvement can be valuable, as it gives token holders a say in the project’s future direction, potentially influencing its success and, consequently, the token’s value.
Access to Exclusive Services
Utility tokens often grant access to exclusive services or benefits within a blockchain ecosystem. For instance, holding certain tokens might provide discounts on transaction fees, access to premium features, or priority in network activities. These benefits can enhance the overall value of your investment portfolio.
Hedging Against Inflation
Cryptocurrencies and tokens can serve as a hedge against inflation, particularly in regions with unstable fiat currencies. By investing in tokens that appreciate in value, investors can protect their wealth from the eroding effects of inflation.
Case Studies: Successful Token Investments
Ethereum (ETH)
Ethereum’s native token, ETH, has been one of the most successful and influential tokens in the crypto space. Beyond its use as a cryptocurrency, ETH powers the Ethereum network, enabling smart contracts and dApps. Its value has surged due to widespread adoption and continuous development, making it a cornerstone of many crypto portfolios.
Binance Coin (BNB)
BNB, the native token of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has demonstrated remarkable growth. Initially used to pay for trading fees on the Binance platform at a discount, BNB’s utility has expanded to include use in DeFi applications, token sales, and even travel bookings. Binance’s aggressive expansion and token burn strategy have further driven BNB’s value.
Chainlink (LINK)
Chainlink’s LINK token has gained prominence by providing a decentralized oracle network that connects smart contracts with real-world data. LINK’s value has risen due to its critical role in enabling DeFi applications and partnerships with major companies and blockchain projects.
Solana (SOL)
Solana’s SOL token has quickly become a favorite among investors due to its high transaction speeds and low fees. As a competitor to Ethereum, Solana supports a growing number of dApps, DeFi projects, and NFTs. Its robust performance and strong community support have driven significant price appreciation, making it a valuable addition to any diversified crypto portfolio.
Also if you are intrested on solana, Then must create your own memecoins token on solana in just less than three seconds without any coding knowledge. with solana launcher & Deployment tool.
Tips for Building a Robust Crypto Investment Portfolio
Conduct Thorough Research
Always conduct thorough research before investing in any token. Understand the project’s goals, team, technology, and market potential. Read whitepapers, follow project updates, and engage with the community to gain insights.
Stay Informed
The crypto market is highly dynamic. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and major announcements. Follow reputable news sources, join online forums, and participate in community discussions.
Use Reputable Exchanges
Use reputable cryptocurrency exchanges for buying, selling, and trading tokens. Ensure the exchange has robust security measures, a user-friendly interface, and good customer support. Examples include Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken.
Secure Your Investments
Use secure wallets to store your tokens. Hardware wallets and reputable software wallets provide the best security features. Avoid keeping large amounts of cryptocurrency on exchanges for extended periods due to security risks.
Diversify Across Sectors
Diversify your investments across different sectors within the crypto space, such as DeFi, NFTs, and blockchain platforms. This approach helps mitigate risk and exposes you to various growth opportunities.
Monitor and Rebalance
Regularly monitor your portfolio and rebalance it as needed. Market conditions can change rapidly, and rebalancing ensures that your portfolio remains aligned with your investment goals and risk tolerance.
Be Prepared for Volatility
The crypto market is known for its volatility. Be prepared for significant price swings and avoid making impulsive decisions based on short-term market movements. Focus on long-term growth and maintain a disciplined investment approach.
Conclusion
Tokens are the backbone of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, offering diverse opportunities for investment and innovation. By understanding the different types of tokens and their roles, you can build a robust and diversified crypto investment portfolio. Diversification, research, and strategic investment in utility, security, and governance tokens can enhance your portfolio’s performance and reduce risk.
As the crypto market continues to evolve, staying informed and adaptable will be key to success. Embrace the opportunities tokens offer, and you may find yourself at the forefront of the next wave of financial innovation. Happy investing!

I wanna talk about the concept of "the next big thing"
Because I keep getting frustrated that banks and businesses and smooth brain CEOs keep jumping on stupid trends without knowing what they're getting into. And then think they can just sell us on it being "the next big thing"
That's not how it works, idiots. WE decide what's the next big thing. Not you. You have no control here. You're a passenger on this ride. Forever. That's how it is, and that's how it's always gonna be.
So allow me, a consumer, to tell every business on the planet what to look for instead of buying into friggin TurboSlugs or something and making another trillion dollars worth of OUR effort vanish into thin air
Whenever your little money obsessed brain starts to notice a lot of rich people buying something, I want you to ask yourself a single question:
Would this help a 7 year old have a relationship with her grandma?
A 7 year old is hardly able to navigate the internet. She can't drive. She doesn't know how the world works and doesn't know enough yet to be able to make all her own decisions
Her grandma is maybe still in the workforce, or may be retired. Might be sitting at home or might be flying off all over the world. Could be more internet savvy than me, or could not even barely know how to get a search result on Google.
It doesn't matter. You need to put them together or help them be happy together. You need to do that better and easier than everything else that exists on the market.
THAT'S what will be the next big thing.
Skype was huge because a parent could sit their daughter in front of a screen for basically the first time ever and she could talk to her grandma on the other side of the planet face to face.
Cars were chosen over horses because you could get your daughter to your mother faster than with a horse; and didn't have to clean up after it.
The internet is huge because your daughter and your mother can follow each other's life stories and make each other laugh with memes. Your daughter can make grandma proud with what she has been learning and grandma can invest in your company's stock to be able to help pay for a family vacation.
Even something like Tumblr helps because it lets your daughter, as she gets older, have a wonderful place to explore being weird without freaking your mother out. And vice versa.
A stupid nft doesn't help daughter see grandma. It doesn't make their lives better when they're together. It's too hard for daughter to learn and grandma thinks it sounds like a scam.
Ai doesn't help them either. It takes attention away from daughter seeing grandma or makes grandma's search results come back wrong.
You want the next big thing? You're looking in the wrong places. And by the way, if you get the idea to gather a bunch of 7 year olds and grandmas in a room and interrogate them, trying to pick their brains for some damn idea? I am going to beg the universe to send a gorilla to drop from your ceiling and rip your arms off.
You just have to wait
You can't force it to happen. You can't know where or when or how it will be invented. Focus on making whatever product or service you make right now as best as you can. And when you see something that looks like it's going to make the relationship between daughter and grandma better? That's when you invest.
