Astro observations 3

Disclaimer: I would like to confirm that my observations are the niche ways in which a placement may manifest, it is the way I’ve noticed it in others, the people around me, celebrities, myself and in my studies. It is not the doctrine wide broad way the placement occurs for everyone.

Leo MC always are seen as icons by the public, they’re simply just iconic. Everything they do has an artistic value so they’re just seen as icons

When doing chart analysis I’ve noticed that even if an asteroid isn’t inputted to the chart, the themes surrounding it are still shown simply from planets. Asteroids don’t tell you anything new that isn’t already there, it more so highlights the “how”. The planets themselves already suggest the themes of what’s going on, asteroids are there to perhaps confirm it and further dissect.

E.g a person has Jupiter in 7th house, coincidentally Biblialexa and Sokrates asteroids may also be there too. This suggests more exact detail in how that Jupiter manifests and the natives relationships are filled with wisdom and intellectually charged but even if we removed the two asteroids from the picture, Jupiter already falls under those themes so the asteroids are just confirming that and showing us further how it’s done.

Taurus MC like to work hard so that they can live a wealthy, care free life. That’s what motivates them. It kind of reminds me of Denji from chainsaw man. The motivation to why he works so hard is to have delicious food and a warm bed to sleep in at night. They’re hard working but people can tell they work for the leisure that comes with it.

Planet conjunctions to a house make the planet that’s conjuncting the house work seamlessly with the theme of the house. It makes the qualities of that planet become heightened with the house, regardless of if the planet is inside it or not. In a way the house-planet conjunct is stronger influence than the planets INSIDE the house because they are not directly communicating with the house itself but are instead a part of it.

The planets in the house cusp obey and follow the nature of the house but when a planet is conjunct to the house it means they are both on par with each other. Like the head of administration speaking to the head of technology whereas all the planets in the house work as the team employees and essentially under the houses orders

let’s say someone has a 6H Venus conjunct Pisces 7th house, and mercury, Saturn, Neptune are in the 7H. The planets IN the house would be the book-keeper, auditor, fundraiser. And if the planet is conjunct to the house it’s in(Venus), that makes it have a stronger influence than the other employees because it’s directly writing with the boss rather than only under him. Venus would have more power and control in that house despite it not being inside

What they say about moon in 7th housers not being able to be single, and needing to constantly be in a relationship is so true. If they are happy single they are most probably living vicariously through a romance Tv series or literature. Some form of medium that lets them indulge in love as a comfort place.

If you have Pluto in a Scorpio ruled house, it makes you able to conquer your deepest fears. if you haven’t overcome them yet, you will eventually. This is because Scorpio shows what we are afraid of and Pluto exerts dominance and control, with this placement your fears become afraid of you, the tables turn and you have control and power over the things that you were once afraid of. However this usually happens after traumatic experience that makes you change your life.

e.g Scorpio 12th house with sag Pluto inside would be able to conquer their nightmares and dark thoughts. They may learn how to lucid dream or align the subconscious with the conscious mind communicating with it via the nightmares to understand the self, they could exert fear and control for an example, making the people in their nightmares do what they want, they can attain a good amount of control on their thoughts.

Usually to figure out if an outcome is likely from a chart you should see strong indicators shown 3+ times in their natal chart. If something is prominent in your life it will be shown on your natal chart and it certainly won’t appear just once.

E.g if you want to know if someone will be wealthy you should look for several strong indicators like Jupiter in 2H, money asteroids conjunct to personal planets 2H ruler in the money houses, Jupiter-Pluto aspects, just constant signs of wealth, they probably have some form of accumulated wealth in this lifetime as all of such are repeating signs of being financially blessed. If something is prominent in your life it will be shown on your natal chart and it certainly won’t appear just once.

Venus 1st housers are so well regarded by women. E.g Aubrey Hepburn, George Clooney, Selena Gomez, Queen Elizabeth. They’re like the staple of being respected by women because of their well presented nature. What you may call “written by a woman”.

I’ve noticed Capricorn risings with outer planet 1st house influence start from being the underdog, looked down upon, ignored and disrespected all for one by one their passion builds up together to form a whirlwind of success, reputation and competence.

E.g Kylie Jenner-being seen as Kendall’s shadow, Ariana Grande- only seen as the Nickelodeon side character and being constantly degraded for looking like a little girl

Chiron conjunct MC can make your work a living hell because it touches on deep traumas and you can feel exposed. But your career also heals you, you may even be seen as someone who heals others. This actually makes me think of Justin Beiber who has this placement. He was degraded online for decades bc of his substance abuse, had his nudes leaked and constantly harassed and now people want to apologize and see why he keeps wanting to “protect” billie and young artists from the predators in the industry. He is literally living the “wounded healer” reputation. Despite his own scars he’s attempting to treat others and he’s publicly known for it, even in the music he releases like his song Yummy that went viral for hinting at child exploitation.

Pluto 2nd house can either be the first one to break familial poverty then be the richest and elevate their status from what they have -going from middle class to upper OR they straight up destroy decades of resources and efforts given to them in the worst way possible due to their own self destructive behavior e.g bankruptcy, gambling, drugs or just spending it whenever they feel like it because they’re seeking power from the things they own so they’ll spend it to assert dominance.

I found that Leo risings LOVE it when people give them attention and make them feel like the centre of the room, even when they’re doing nothing, they kind of expect to be the main attraction. They gleefully jump for joy when you mention their appearance and compliment them. For an example if they’re at a karaoke bar and the group record the session the Leo rising might just stand in the middle and occupy the view of the camera doing nothing while the others are singing. Just because they feel attracted to that limelight.

They can appear “attention seeking” to some but they actually shine beautifully when they have something to contribute like their talents.

Strange observation but I’ve noticed that Venus 11th house in Juno Persona chart at its worst has a partner that cheated on them with a mutual friend. Eg. Will smith. Looking at what Venus is aspecting is also important.

Degrees are like the seasoning for your food, like salt, cinnamon, spices -each sign representing a different kind of added seasoning to the planet. Your planet is the main dish, the house placements show how it’s presented and the aspects are what else it’s eaten with. All parts of the chart must be taken into consideration, all parts are important to get an accurate image of what goes on. So don’t leave out degrees or retrogrades just because they’re not as prominent.

Pluto-Jupiter aspects specifically conjunct is THE well known wealth indicator in astrology. So many billionaires have it: Rupert Murdoch, Warren Buffet, George Soros, Bill Gates, JP Morgan, Charles Koch, Nelson Rockefeller

Planets in the 10th house can show your attitude towards performing for other people, stellium here can make someone feel like they need to meet peoples standards because of pressures or expectations of what and who they’re are “supposed” to be, this expectation can come from authority figures like parents too

ASTRO OBSERVATIONS 2

ENTIRE chart will influence accuracy.

Mars Square Neptune.

- Floating - these people tend to easily disconnect from the real world.

- Needing music to workout. Tend to hate silence. Need background music or noise.

- Will encounter disappointing men. Father may be unreliable. Father may not be the provider and/or protector. Father doesn’t fit the traditional father role. For my friend w this aspect, this experience created disgust for “weak men”.

- Often have an artistic hobby - drawing, painting, playing an instrument, etc.

- Sudden change in relationship w authority. Ex: Following rules when young but rebelling against parents when older. Rebelling against what’s expected when older.

- Preferring and/or creating unconventional ways to do things.

- Good teachers. Simplifying complicated things to be easily understood. Creating new effective ways to be productive.

- Conflicted between desire for recognition from authority and desire for freedom.

Mars Aspects MC.

- You or others are competitive in the workplace. You can desire leadership positions. You want to be recognized as the best. Or you simply dislike working with others. Prefer independent work.

- May become known for your body (in a good or bad way). People can assume you are physically active. If you are a woman, you can have a reputation for being a “bitch”. You could be assertive and it’s seen as aggressive. You could prioritize your goals, you’re seen as selfish.

- Conflict between parents. A Parent encourages you to be ambitious. A parent pushes you toward choosing a career or finding a job early on.

- Parents who are forced to prioritize work over children due to financial struggle of the family.

- Good texters. Funny and can keep a conversation going.

- Observant. This can make them anxious and/or very talkative.

- Reserved presence. Observant. Patient & polite. Old soul indicator. Mature. Good mentors/teacher. Indicator of becoming a person in an authoritative position. You may not realize it but people can grow to respect & admire you. Your words have influence on others.

- Good planners. They create long term plans. Good at manifesting. Good at going after what they want. Tough start in life but always get what they want later in life.

- Have a lot of responsibility. Independent person. Difficult asking for & accepting help. Older sibling vibe. Being the forgotten child. Being the child who compromises for their siblings. Attempting to create less burden for your parents.

- Deeply value the opinion of authority (Parents, teachers, etc).

- Tough on themselves. Feel they need to work harder. Feeling the need to earn things. Feeling you haven’t done enough. Feeling you aren’t enough.

- Strong boundaries. You may have high standards and strict “rules” for people in your life especially romantic partners. Will not just accept anybody.

- And one thing I’ve noticed is whether it be saturn trine asc or saturn square asc, these people end up in positions where their partners have to “earn” them. Ex: making yourself difficult to schedule dates with. Making their potential partner prove interest and intent in some kind of way. Partners have to chase you to an extent.

- Also, I’ve seen this as dad disapproving of partner. Partner had to gradually work to bond with the dad. Ex: Helping him at the house, Initiating conversation with him every visit, Telling the dad his future plans and how they involve his daughter, etc. Saturn Asc people’s partners really WORK to prove themselves.

- Strong sense of faith. Strong sense of optimism. Strong sense of doing the right thing. Could manifest as being self righteous.

- Jupiter strengthens mars. This creates a strong drive, need for passion and action.

- Ex: Let’s say mars is in scorpio: You will truly never forget people from the past. Strong memory. Grudge holder for sure.

- If in a fire sign, very quick to anger. On the bright side, very funny. Quick thinking. But similar to Scorpio mars, will not forgive easily. An abundance of anger.

- Independent. Ability to lead. Could be a good leader or mentor.

- In men, this can result in seeing women through the Madonna whore complex. Men can idealize women - lack of understanding & experience with real women.

- Taking pleasure in nurturing people. Potential to be a good baker & cook.

- Artistic eye. Home design and clothing. However, depending on signs, may prefer comfort over fashion.

- Expensive taste. Potential to overspend and be indulgent. Be cautious of ending up in debt. Sweet tooth.

I hated being a 12th house dominant. I hated how I spend my whole life serving, aiding and giving to ungrateful people, burning yourself to keep the fire warm, serving the food before you can eat resulting in having an empty plate. Being forgotten when you’ve helped someone. But I realised that I serve because I’m not hungry, I burn because I can afford the scars. I am suited for service when there is nobody else who can, I will. I bear the burden because I know the cause, my hands are capable and if I don’t, who will? I’m learning the importance of serving humanity instead of hating it because of what people do. They need aid, they need help, and since it’s in my power, I can. I still feel like being selfish sometimes because I know that no matter how much I give, it will never go noticed and the person will be ungrateful, but even so, there is comfort in seeing others rejoice even if they don’t acknowledge the source, there is satisfaction in knowing they are well because someone moved when others stayed still.

Mars in 8th house synastry

Mars in 8th house synastry always makes me feel… uncomfortable. I have 8H placements and many Scorpio placements. But seriously, it gets dark here. This synastry placement is like being in a car with the Mars person while you’re both driving at full speed even when you turn on roundabouts and you try not to crash but at the same time look forward to when you do so you can start the car again and see how fast both of you can really go. Sometimes it just feels destructive yet so good. I think that’s what people are talking about when they say it’s about transformation and joint partnership. It feels like having an accomplice in crime who tells you to do more. Drive faster, go harder.

A little personal. I had 8H Mars synastry with my friend/love interest at the young age of 14 years old. The very day I had met him, after we spent the night innocently running around and jumping into bushes like 5H lovers, he brought me to his home, he tickled me on his bed for what felt like 10 minutes while touching me inappropriately and making me laugh to the point I could no longer defend myself. It was conflicting, while in the moment I didn’t know if I enjoyed it or not because everytime I’d try to think he’d just put his hands under my neck and armpits again making my entire body shrivel and squirm while he groped whatever he wanted to. Ever since that day, I further craved that grey boundary of consent from our interactions and developed feelings for him because I had never been touched like that before. He was the Mars person and I was the house person.

Another example, at the beginning of our relationship I teased him, taunting him jokingly, Mars person was like “say that again”. I said it again, Mars person said “say it again and I’ll show you what happens”. I did it again. He pinned me down on the floor and grabbed my chin, pried my lips open with his hands then forced socks down my mouth as a means to make me “shut up”. I remember being so traumatised but slightly turned on. It’s violent, nasty and intrusive.

Point is, this placement on the JUMP can turn into something very physical, Mars is fast, pushy and calculating, 8 house is the recipient to this rough and uncontrolled touch. It’s known as the “loosing virginity with this person”placement because of how 8H is the vessel for Mars’s forever changing actions. It can result in a relationship where you do things sexually that you had never even done before. The lines of consent become blurred with this placement because you can both feel entitled to the other persons body or that the other person has entitlement to yours, in my case, as the house person I felt that Mars could touch me however they pleased because they owned me from the jump.

As I’m older, it’s been plenty of years since I cut off the relationship, When I finally describe my relationship to others, they tell me it’s a form of sexual assault, not surprising as 8H synastry can result in both of you always keeping it private to yourselves for all those years. Strangely enough to this day, I still don’t know how I feel about it. I still feel attached to this person given that they were so close to me.

Mars person sets the match and house person carries the torch. After Mars initiates, house person can want to control how it progresses, I felt like the fuel to the fire that he started. Anyway, here are some condensed notes on

How Mars in 8H can manifest

Mars loves being rough, manhandling house person. Very aggressive and dominant, Mars just can’t stop dominating 8H physically, they’re very impulsive with it too. They will very much so try to undress you and know all your secrets, even resorting to physical means to get it. It’s like they’re possessed. While house person can subdue and hide their desire, control their instincts yet want the same thing as Mars.

Sex here can feel like punishment, whether that’s good or bad is dependent on houses outlook and level of 8H/scorpio placements in their chart. Lots of power play in bed.

House person is the host, house person makes the environment one which Mars person can’t help but ravish and turn into this beast. House person knows exactly how to tick Mars person off if they wanted to. But they also know how to turn them on. House person can get control by making them react strongly under their command, very much like a brat & dom relationship if you are familiar with those terms.

Both will feel SO tied to one another if this is a relationship. You know this dynamic is unhealthy but both of you can’t leave each other. It can be loyalty to detriment. But if it were to end Mars may be the one to instigate a break up because of what house did. If house ends the relationship, Mars will see it as the biggest betrayal known to man.

In my synastry, when I stopped speaking to him and ended things, he asked me which church I go to. I’m pretty sure he wanted to go there just to hurt me, remind me he exists and that I can’t back away from him. I was so scared because if he came it would be disastrous.

Neither may actually like the other person, can even be repulsed by one another but you feel lustful towards each other, Mars may not like how house looks or Mars isn’t houses usual type but for some reason neither can not want the other in bed. You are an “exception”

Mars can provide for house, can work so that they can provide and conquer house person

Both can drain their resources together. Spend so much time, money etc together to the point where they just move as one single unit.

I really think this is due to his 1st house Neptune placement in Capricorn, if he has a vision he ties it to his identity and acts on it. A reason why hes so successful is also because his name, so when he ties his brand to it, it becomes extremely successful and well respected due to the guaranteed high quality reputation that his Capricorn rising gave him. Neptune Capricorn is in a sign of action, but a planet of fantasy, this has an outcome of gradual success.

If you didn’t know, It took him so long to be finally recognised, but once he was everyone wanted to be like him, wanted his reputation, wanted his success, his credibility, his competence, his knowledge of industry, his string sharp bone structure, his way of approaching business. (All Capricorn traits). These natives tend to be the gatekeepers of their industry and can choose who to let in after being disrespected.

Can I also mention that his Neptunes ruler (Saturn) is in the house of goals and aspirations, 11H represents our aspirations, wealth gained from career (and other things that I will mention in part 2). Knowing this, his dreams are so tied with what he wants to be that it’s not just a flimsy ideal to him it’s his reality that he believes in, something he’s always working towards. With Saturn also being here it shows he takes it very seriously and is rather strict in himself and others to reach those goals. This is honestly the sign of someone who networks like a power horse using those connections, income from career and all such to fulfill his dreams. It’s all over his chart how motivated he is.

Aquarius Jupiter 2nd house

Yes THE wealth indicator, this is the placement that shows someone who is abundant in possessions and valuable assets, earnings and savings. Not only this but they tend to have an air of non chalance when their self value is being put down because they have such a positive and optimistic attitude towards themselves, with this placement nobody can tell them shit or try to devalue them. With his being in Aquarius, Jeffrey may own possessions that are niche, rare and perhaps one in a kind made due to Aquarius representing uniqueness and his Jupiter ruler (Uranus) in 12th house he has very obscure things that he values but are non the less worth a lot of money and VERY difficult to get a hold of, he may even talk about them as his 12H Uranus is conjunct his mercury, with his mercury in sag- (a sign of brutal honesty..) if you asked him nicely he’d probably tell you how you can get the things he has. Niche meanings of houses are so important

𝑻𝒉𝒆 12 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒔 — 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔

I'm no astrologer, just an amateur, so I base this post on these astrology websites: (x.x). If you're really interested in correct astrology, I recommend reading the full sources, as this is only a summary. Reading the sources helped me gain a greater understanding too :).

I often read about only a limited amount of the 12 houses' meanings on tumblr, so I feel like there's a lot that goes unnoticed, even though it helps to understand a lot of things in astrology better. I think it might expand the horizon of interpretations for each placement. This post deals with the lesser known meanings of each house, so you likely won't find the commonly stated meanings here. I know I'm not contributing anything new in this post, but still, I think it's worth spreading the other original meanings of each house further. I'm in no way criticising any astrologers on tumblr with this post, by the way!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Astro.com mentions the temperament, as well as the instinctive reactions, which I haven't often seen elsewhere. Astrology.com also talks about one's approach to life in connection to the 1st house, and early childhood. The latter can be explained by the first house representing new beginnings, just like early childhood marking a beginning.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

The relationship to the own physical body is part of the second house. Furthermore, the sense of self worth and value are points that needs to be mentioned more. Value entails physical possessions, but also everything else we value, and how or why we value it. Intangible possessions are mentioned on astrology.com too, such as one's emotions, needs, abilities, wants, etc.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Neighbours, short trips, our environment, intelligence as a "practical sensibility" and "analytical ability", conscious thinking, mental and/or symbiotic connection to others, siblings and relationships of the everyday life are all mentioned in my chosen sources, but not talked about often, concerning the 3rd house. I also recall reading that this house rules cousins, but I'm not sure and have no source to prove it.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Your origins, circumstances and parental home are listed on astro.com, as well as youth (not only the childhood!). The father is mentioned here too. Now this is my own interpretation, but I think it might just mean father figure, since the father does not always play a role in everyone's life and not everyone even has a father. My second source brings one's roots and foundation into the picture, as well as old age and endings. Home, wich is associated with the 4th house as well, is described as a psychical place here too. I personally think it might also mean the soul's home or inner core? It is only a guess. (Family)history/ancestry, cultural and societal norms, and heritage are added to the list too. Parents or nurturing figures (not just a mother) are mentioned, as well as real estate and traditions.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Procreation, emotional satisfaction and enrichment, gambling, games, playing, hobbies, arts and culture — I don't see people talking about these matters of the 5th house that much, yet they apparently belong to it. To be fair, most of the 5th house matters are often described, though.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Besides the commonly mentioned routines, service, work, etc., this house rules over (bodily) hygiene, the circumstances surrounding us in our daily lives, dealings of daily life, our behaviour towards subordinates or employment in general, training, and how we deal with shortcomings. Astrology.com explains it quite illustratively, and even though houses and signs are not congruent, I personally think the text points out what virgo energy is aiming towards.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Partnership or contracts are not the only themes of this house — cooperation and relating in general are 7th house topics too. Union and contributing as a team for a purpose are key themes, as well as purpose on its own. The achievement for oneself, a partnership or society. This does not only entail love or work, but also creating together to contribute. Again, this one is a personal thought I'm adding, but I think maybe reaching agreements falls under this sign's rulership too. Anyway, a lot of these themes remind me of the 11th house and vice versa.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Apart from the usually mentioned 8th house topics, it also governs communal goods, taxes, how we deal with material loss, how we interact in relationships and our legacy. But I feel like the 'new beginnings' part — the (often) bright part — of the 8th house needs to be more recognised too. For example, by reflecting on a habit and noticing it's not beneficial, we can decide to change the habit and replace it with something constructive. This means renewal and a new beginning. A habit is not necessarily only part of our own world, but it can affect other people too (e.g.: if you work out you might become fitter and can help a friend with carrying their heavy boxes), which makes it communal. Shared resources like emotional support are also an 8th house topic.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Our ideals, publishing, import/export, grandchildren, in-laws, the quest for gaining understanding, spirituality and (if I understood it correctly) how we deal with the unknown, are themes of the 9th house. This house additionally entails the relation between members of a society. I think the vague term 'expansion' means, amongst other things, gaining or adding understanding and meaning to oneself and the world, and deriving value from the unknown, for example through learning about foreign concepts. The themes I mentioned above also highlight examples of expansion (e.g. publishing = spreading something to the masses). The 9th house also has a multigererational focus. Astro.com explains that the views shaped from this house influence the 10th house.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

The 10th house does not only point to our career, status, fame or reputation. 10th house topics are also: the mother or an authoritarian parent (not everyone has a mother), one's role in the community, social activities, vocation, ambitions, motivation, employers' rules, organisations and authority. Vocation is a kind of selfless theme, relating to the societal context of the 10th house, as it has little to do with the ego, and more with leaving an impact outside of oneself. Astrology.com hints that success can at times be achieved with the help of society, and that the relationship between an individual and society is part of the 10th house too. In my mind, this also gives the 10th house a symbiotic character.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Most of the time I read about this house in correlation to friendships, groups and technology. However, that's not all there is to it. It also includes stepchildren, foster children, adopted children, how we relate to society or teachers and benefactors, and in which ways we would fill these roles, clubs, social groups and organisations, as well as our activies in and impact resulting from these groups. Collective strength or collective creation are keywords often used to describe this house on astrology.com. Opportunities and possibilities are also apparently included in the 11th house themes, as well as adding meaning to our lives and society (similar to the 9th house). What we want to achieve plays a part here as well (similar to the 10th house — I figure this shows that the houses are consecutive). I think it's interesting to know that this house does not only show which kinds of people are our ideal friends, but also what kind of friend we are.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

'Self-undoing' is a very vague term, from my point of view, and institutions such as hospitals aren't the only thing this house governs either. The 12th house deals with selflessness, outside of individual matters. Monasteries and retreats are ruled by this house too, just like charity, how we move forward from the past and positive transformation. To be honest, I usually see most of this house's themes mentioned in astrology.

What is Midheaven or Medium Coeli?

Midheaven, or MC, represents the point in the sky that lies at the top of your chart. It has significant astrological implications because it is not simply a random position, but rather one with profound effects. It is translated as Medium Coeli, and it can influence your career choices, ambition and public persona. However, due to variations in house systems and individual chart placements, the MC doesn't always fall directly in the 10th house. It can be at the very end of the 9th or the beginning of the 11th house in some cases, depending on the specific chart and the house system used for interpretation.

How to find the lord of Midheaven?

To find the lord of the Midheaven (MC), you need to look at the sign that occupies the cusp of the Midheaven in the natal chart. The ruling planet of that sign is considered the lord of the Midheaven.

For example:

If Aquarius is on the Midheaven, then Saturn (traditional ruler) and Uranus (modern ruler) both may be considered as co-rulers depending on the astrological tradition you follow.

Honestly when I think of Aphrodite I think of someone who is overly sexualised by men. Like they collectively came together and said THIS is what we like. She is the image of sex and desire because they put her there. And she likes it, which is probably why she is labelled as the god of sex, pleasure, love and beauty, it’s because she accepts all kinds of admiration from anyone. No matter how degrading or intensely it manifests. Do you too also accept love no matter how sexually degrading or intense it is? Do you have a tendency to expect to be glorified?

The written descriptions of Aphrodite were open-ended enough to allow artists to show her in a way they thought was beautiful for centuries. While later artists were influenced by the paintings and sculptures of Rome and Greece, they had the license to show the goddess of beauty in a way that made sense within their own cultures.

Most often, Aphrodite’s clothing and jewelry were described in greater detail than her body or facial features. The richness of her garments and adornments both enhanced her features and signalled her nobility.

The lack of written detail meant that artists were able to portray Aphrodite in a way they felt was beautiful. While these typically followed certain conventions, these conventions could vary between regions and time periods. Aphrodite/Venus was therefore shown with certain marks of beauty that had persisted from the ancient world, but also with the features and clothing considered ideal in the artists’ own times. Planets in the 8th house

Disclaimer: I am not a professional astrologer these are just my opinions based on my years of experience and research so take with a grain of salt. Also, any mention of some illness or mental illness that could possibly (emphasis on possibly) present in some individuals is one of many ways a placement could manifest but I am not a doctor and astrology should never be a replacement for the real thing. please keep this in mind and take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

Note: the 8th house deals with themes of death, loss, sex, other peoples money, inheritance, unspoken/hidden things/secrets, irrational fears, the past, obsessions/compulsions and addictions. This house can be intimidating because of the chaotic sides that it can bring, but really this house is like a mirror that shows you places where you can leave certain things behind and transform for the better if you let it. The 7th is about our relationships based on fairness and an equal standing whereas the 8th is where we can either fall or thrive from the opposite. Often with the 8th house we get shown situations where our desire, anger, greed, and insecurities come out, only if we’re not managing. It shows where we can over indulge and also owe things. On the flip side it can also be a house where we have big gains, lots of spiritual and creative gifts and are also owed things. These are my take on the energy of this house in combination with each of the planets and how that could possibly manifest in life. This person is most likely very familiar with significant loss of something or someone in their lifetime, especially early on or even multiple times throughout their life. The individual likely goes through transformations of their character frequently and throughout their whole lives. As soon as one ends one begins. This can feel tiring if they’re resistant to the changes, but if they embrace them they have the ability to learn many valuable lessons that help them get closer to achieving the life they want, and who they want to be. They might take an interest in, have an early memory of, or know someone close to them who has experienced being in a place that deals with darker themes like a cemetery, hospital, mental hospital, prison etc.. real life detectives who can find out anything and anything on anyone, they are great information gatherers but if not mindful this can be used poorly or for the wrong reasons. They might be gifted in any kind of writing or using their words in some way, things that use transportation, and things that use their hands (for example jewelry making, playing an instrument or drawing, singing, computer programmer etc..). Because Mercury also rules over mental ability and learning skills, even if they don’t have a natural ability for something they can still do anything of their choosing. What they do have is the natural ability to learn new information and apply it, meaning they can master anything just based on their talent of that. They are prone to overthinking and getting obsessive in their own thought patterns which can turn toxic. They can also be obsessive about their work. They can easily get addicted to work and become workaholics which can have a strain on the other areas of their life, especially because they tend to be perfectionists and analyze until something’s just right. Mercury rules a lot of our mental areas and how they function, and the 8th house can get destructive at times, so this placement is prone to having mental illness, especially anxiety or even social anxiety. This could manifest and look different for different people, but often times they are more susceptible to this. At best, this person is just a little chaotic in their personality and it’s one of their many charms. Sometimes people won’t understand this but some will learn to love them more for it. This person is a really my way is the right way and don’t tell me different please. As someone with this placement there’s usually a reason we do things a certain way and it works best for us so it’s best to just go with it. It’s important for these individuals to maintain a good way of speaking to themselves to avoid falling into negative thought patterns. Things like affirmations, talk therapy or journaling etc.. could help them, also having good people around them. Being mindful about work life balance here is also essential to do well in their environment. Additionally, having a good outlet for anxiety will help them cope in a healthy way. Things like regular exercise, eating well, prioritizing good sleep, having a hobby you enjoy that grounds or relaxes, meditation. Eliminating things that escalate cortisol levels like coffee or atleast limiting your consumption, overindulging in junk food or alcohol, unnecessary stress etc.. will also help ease anxiety.

Venus:

If you’re not mindful in dating this placement can tend to have intense love lives and fall into cycles where they feel trapped (8th house can get very attached) this can look like manipulation into staying in a relationship, staying with someone who isn’t good to you or is destructive to the relationship in some way. Alternatively, the relationship is still intense but more expressed as deep love or passion. The individual could be with someone very loyal, committed, and someone that would do anything for them or make sacrifices, also someone who would bring positive transformations to their life. This also notes being in a relationship where there is very good intimacy and deep connection both physically and spiritually, basically just very very connected to eachother where you help eachother with stuff like trauma, trust, fears and money even. People might really want to spoil you with this placement (8th house other people money and Venus attraction), this could also play out in a romantic relationship where you attract people that want to provide for you. Venus dealing with romantic relationships and 8th house dealing with money especially other people’s money it would be wise to get secure or have your financial things in order before getting legally involved like marriage for example. If you separate with this person or have any legal mishaps this placement could point to either owing money or receiving money depending on if it’s aspected well or in an easy sign. This placement can also indicate marrying or being in a relationship with someone who was born into poverty or alternatively inheritance depending on the aspects. This placement can manifest in a lot of different ways but whatever it is usually shows a relationship where you and them are overcoming obstacles together and transforming together. Be careful with greediness and selfishness especially financially here or of other people with those traits. The more you do that the more likely you are to have to pay off debts. A main lesson here will be learning how to have a handle on your desires specifically material and to have self restraint or discipline in that area.

Mars:

In the worst manifestation (so this won’t be everyone and this is just a possibility not a given) this can point to the body or mind attacking itself in some way whether with sickness or even self harm and or a habit self destructing mentally. Alternatively this could also look like making really impulsive decision making which puts you in harms way (mars likes to move fast and can lack patience in its unfortunate expression). At its best this placement has an immense amount of drive and passion in the things they do as if it never runs out. They are great at reaching the goals they set for themselves. They are probably good at facing conflict headfirst and dealing with it quickly. When something comes up that does not serve them they are quick to nip it in the bud. In the fortunate expression this person takes really good care of their body and might have transformations physically. This could look like a significant weight loss or gain or building muscles or maybe even nursing their body back to health from sickness and looking bright and lively again. Most likely they have overcome something physically and have this discipline towards their body. They might be the type of person to have a health regimen they do daily. It’s important for this placement to find a way to healthily use their physical energy because they usually have needs here which can lead to overindulgence if using the energy improperly. Having a workout routine or a way to let off stress in a healthy way physically will be very helpful for them. This could also look like another outlet as long as they have some sort of thing they are passionate about to direct their energy to it will be useful for them since this placement has a great deal of energy. In its best, this could look like making profits in something especially through relationships and networking with other people. This could also be someone that has knowledge of how to handle their money wisely. This would be a good person to start their own business, very entrepreneurial energy with the risk factor but then it coming back ten fold with Jupiter’s blessings. This person is very lucky when it comes to business deals and investments when the energy is used productively. This individual might experience a streak of luck, fortune, or large sum/financial gain in their life, sometimes after a point of loss or tragedy. This individual might be very interested in religion, spirituality or higher education and knowledge of healing so if they don’t believe in religion maybe they still believe in god or something else or maybe they just like to study things in that field. This can also present as having knowledge for a career in being healing to others like a doctor, therapist or maybe someone who helps rehabilitate people physically or from addictions. Its important for this person to find a productive way to use their efforts and talents because they can be prone to doing to much or being extra in ways that causes trouble for them. Finding something that lets them express these talents and knowledge healthily can let them access their blessings fully and accomplish a lot.

Saturn:

Could point to a complicated relationship with the father, father figure or older male figures in the family. They could be absent in someway by choice or not where you have to grieve their presence in some way. This could also manifest as a father figure that’s emotionally unwell or has really intense emotions and controlling behaviors. This individual might need to be very careful of avoidant behaviors when it comes to their feelings and traumas because they can turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms or addictions when they don’t want feel or experience a certain emotion or memory. In a more fortunate manifestation these individuals could have really great discipline. Especially because with Saturn placements the individual can tend to be put through lots of trials and tribulations for the lessons the universe wants to give them. When they do something that isn’t good for them it comes back to them a lot quicker and they are aware of this, so once they learn to master discipline they learn to put a lot of focus towards the care of their body, their health, and especially their goals. So because Uranus rules over rapid changes as well as things that are unpredictable, and the 8th house rules over destruction and rebirth/transformational energy, this can create a lot of unpredictable events growing up. Now depending on other placements this could manifest in a number of different ways but this could point to possible unexpected injuries to yourself or others that are on accident, things that cause you to uproot your life like your house getting hit by a tornado or something and having to move etc.. now these are extreme examples and just a possible manifestation it doesn’t have to be that extreme. This could also manifest as finding out unexpected secrets or things that were hidden from you either in your family or friend circle (8th house rules over secrets). Because 8th house placements usually deal with loss or passing of their loved ones in some way, with Uranus being here this could mean a bizarre or weird circumstances to how it happened. Now in a fortunate expression this could also look like a positive rare outcome. These individuals could have near death experiences but they always make it through alive somehow, like a cancer patient who is cured gets it again and beats it again. Because 8th house rules finances, especially other people’s finances, this individual could also do something like accidentally win the lottery or something, or receiving money from the government or more easily receiving money on the internet like if you had a YouTube channel. Uranus is a rebel it is a disturber so this can point in terms of mental health to an anxiety based mental illness or something that targets your nervous system. Especially because this individual might have had these crazy unexpected life experiences at one point it’s also a basis for rare traumas that can be underlying cause for their anxiety or paranoia that something bad will happen (like schizophrenia for example). In a positive manifestation this individual is really gifted in technology, science, coming up with a vision or new ideas that have never been thought of before, creative energy. They have the ability to really master one of these lanes and take a new approach to them in a way that feels fresh and exciting to people, they can have many good collaborations with people as well in their passion. Another thing about Uranus, they don’t give f****. If something isn’t working for you or you want to change your life up for the good this placement really gives you free range to easily achieve it and let go and start anew. I will say though that one thing this placement should be careful of is making sure you have good people around you that you can trust because just as this energy can be collaborative and point to community you need the right people, in a less fortunate circumstance this can point to betrayal or friends that bring you into unexpected unfortunate situations.

Neptune:

Y’all can be very foggy headed and delulu. Neptunes specialty is making things confusing so sometimes you need to be able to take off the rose colored glasses and see clearly. Neptune can make it so that it’s very hard to differentiate between fantasy and reality so when that meets the 8th house it can have an tendency to make it so the individual has struggles being honest with themselves. Sometimes this can point to lying to others, not necessarily intentionally but just because you aren’t being honest to yourself. But more likely it can point to not being honest about what’s not good for you in your life. This can be an addiction or unhealthy outlet, it could be a person that maybe isn’t treating you right but you have a certain version of them in your head that you’re stuck to. This could also just be unhealthy habits you have in general. More specifically these individuals can struggle with a lot of escapist tendencies which can sometimes manifest as drug use and sometimes more heavy drug use in attempt to either not feel or feel something good (like Saturn the escapism is present but Saturn is much more aware of it whereas Neptune is in a fantasy in their head). Neptune rules over subtle things or invisibility so this can be either drugs or other things that make you feel either numb or just overly calm. Neptune can be very uncomfortable in the 8th house at times as Neptune is very spiritual and while the 8th house is also spiritual it’s still very involved with the material world. Neptune doesn’t wanna have a worry and the 8th house just keeps putting reality in their face. Finding their personal spiritual path is a big theme here as again Neptune is very spiritual and the 8th house brings a lot of transformational energy here. Especially because this can point to religious trauma sometimes in more extreme cases so usually there is some type of transformation with that. Being that Neptune also rules over dreams, their dreams can be symbolically important for showing them things regarding spiritual themes so pay attention to your dreams. Especially if it’s from a passed loved one (8th house ruling over death and loss) it could be part of your spirituality that you get sent message from them through your dreams. This person should watch out for the beginning thing I said but also they should watch out for being not only major people pleasers in their relationships but also major enablers to toxic or unhealthy behaviors. Also be careful of overspending or having unhealthy money habits without realizing it or trusting others to handle your money bc they might have alternative intentions you’re not able to see.

Pluto:

Pluto is very methodical here since both the 8th house and Pluto rule over secrecy. This individual probably takes a very quiet and private approach to things in their life and you won’t know until they actually do the thing. This can also be a result of the traumas and things they’ve went through in life. They are very resilient but they could have dealt with a lot of betrayal growing up so they know people like the back of their hand most of the time. Sometimes they can be a bit paranoid because of this though and they can have lots of trust issues towards others. Now they go about things privately because they know how people can switch up easily and don’t want their plans to be ruined again. Because Pluto rules over crime and also authority they might have had a lot of issues with authority growing up family and even possibly with the law. Both of these areas rule over destruction so it’s possible that they had self destructive behaviors and getting into bad situations or illegal situations as a way of acting out from things they’ve been through or just because they might not have had anyone to teach them how to use the toolbox they were given. This individual can be very gifted and very smart and meticulous in what they do. They can be interested in darker jobs or jobs in which what you do is very powerful or transformative/healing (like being a doctor). They have trouble being under authority because they are meant to be their own bosses and hold their own power in their hands. Pluto is very influential and you might have a reputation for disrupting societal normalities in good or bad ways it depends. Be careful with this energy though because it can be easily abused and you need to be careful to use it productively. If you use it unproductively you can come off as controlling and overbearing but if used right you can hold a high regard and be well respected in what you do. This placement can attract a lot of jealousy from others because they are envious of how powerful you can be or are intimidated by you so it’s important to have confidence and good self esteem. A key part of your journey will be healing. Self healing and discovery will be a big theme here. Learning to heal your traumas and trust issues in relationships will be good for creating the life you want and bringing you peace, as well as learning to accept your flaws and yourself.
