I did so good today I deserve like 5 slices of cake atleast
#I had to drive my car 15 minutes at 55mph+ in order for it to pass a test#And they recommended that I just drive it on the highway for 15mins to make sure it cycles#And I've been driving fast when I can to rack those minutes up but when it's intermittent it's hard to quantify#So I just made it CERTAIN and drove and counting the minutes#And it was tuff because the highways were congested so I literally couldn't drive fast enough#And today I finally got to a patch of highway that was empty enough to just gun it 15mins nearly straight#It took awhile to drive out of the congestion to find#And then I drove back and racked up more certain time#So tomorrow I'll be confident when I bring it in that it's cycled enough to pass .... *dies*#You get preddy far when you drive like 70mph for 20mins#I was far out and didn't know where I was. But now I know where that is#And then i drove back#All in all it was like an hour of driving for just that 15mins time#Cause I had to drive out to be able to go that fast#And I didn't wanna go halfsies and then count on the trip home to rack up the rest of the time#Because what if it was congested on the way back .... I had to do it then#And I did .... and I did very well#I'm much more of a confident driver since I moved out here but the thing is ...#When its 104 degrees out and your car doesn't have air conditioning .... it's like so much hotter than 100 IN the car#I swear I'm surprised my meat isn't roasted at this point. I'm practically slow roasting out there

#nurse b#fr though how are you going to say you're gonna have someone arrested for DUI when they don't drive 💀#and like. normally I'd think 'well it's fine since I haven't actually done anything wrong'#but this is also the nurse who wrote a false report about me and forwarded it to the psychiatric ward 🙃#and ended up making my mental health worse#and told me I didn't need meds and that you cure illnesses with intermittent fasting and natural supplements#I have no clue what she's doing in the medical field but she's awful

i'm sorry but i just don't think intermittent fasting is a good diet, like i'm glad it works for some people and i am willing to acknowledge that there are studies showing certain positive impacts of it like i'm not gonna deny any of that, but at the end of the day, i think it's more likely to cause more harm than good for the average person
#i don't think fasting is necessarily bad#like as someone who's grown up with religious fasting i think on a spiritual level it can be positive#and better mental health will help to have better physical health#i also think fasting can be kind of neutral bc anyone who has a busy day might inadvertently end up fasting#and depending on a bunch of other lifestyle factors that could be good bad or neutral#but intermittent fasting specifically as a diet being broadly recommended to people with health problems? no!!#basically i saw a video and my gut reaction is to be like shut up about IF#but then i was like. okay let me take a step back and listen to what they are saying#i am willing to acknowledge that it can be incorporated into a healthy lifestyle#personal

thinking back to the time when i had an appointment with an endocrinologist to make sure i don't have pcos (because of beard growth when i wasn't on testosterone) and he asked me about my history and i told him that i gained a bunch of weight as a teen (like about 20 years ago now, that i then dropped because of an E////D) which coincided with the sudden heavy hair growth all over and that that seemed kinda shady to me since i hadn't changed my (very active) lifestyle or my diet at all at that point
and he looked me straight in the face, dropped the hair growth treatment talk and without batting an eye asked me a "have you tried intermittent fasting? do you know what that is?" when i wasn't here for that to begin with and then tried to smooth his way out of it when i got upset saying that he's just "doing his duty as a doctor" telling me about treatments
motherfucker i was there because i wanted to know if my endocrine system was healthy so i could take hrt!!!! didn't need advice on how to starve myself pt 2!!!

i'm having a day
#i went to bed feeling like shit i didn't even shower#so when i woke up i had to shower and wash my hair#i almost was late my hair was still wet#then my colleague didn't give me anything to do#i had to read bibliography.....#at one point i called the medical material place to tell them my grandma would like to keep renting the wheelchair she has#and that's when a colleague (that's kind of a managzr of somz stuff in a way) came in#i mumblrd something about my grandma but didn't clearly say what i was doing so now i fear he thinks im just on the phone whenever i want#then he gave me work and explained stuff to me that i already knew#but for some reason i couldn't voice it out and i looked stupid#then i went back to waiting bc we haven't recieved the samples yet#now it's supposed to be my lunch break but the colleague who has a microwave in his office was on the phone#so im waiting for him to be done to eat#the guy i share an office with hasn't even left the sem room to go eat in the cafeteria yet which means he'll have to come by#and i don't want him to see me eat#bc they guy did triathlons and is all about the grind and intermittent fasting etc etc i know he's judgy#tw food

I really want to get a wellness degree and certification.
I might take a couple of courses in the future.
#i seriously had to cram a lot of health knowledge last year#because i felt unwell and really needed to improve#i started with a multivitamin and d3/k2 and magnesium for filling in nutrient gaps#then onega-3#then updating my oral care products#then nasal breathing#then intermittent fasting#good sleep#then brisk walking again#then healing my gut (still working on this and want to see what supplement I would need because I didn't want to take a lot)#then anti-inflammatory and low glycemic diet#then reverse osmosis water#then hormone and live health (i had to quit though).#then allergy testing#then psych evaluation#then skin healing and dermal microbiome.
