𖢥 There was a new villian in town who was causing trouble of course of course as always— by the time Lloyd arrived the so called villian was taken caren of. The only thing that could be seen was a person leaving the scene while..flying with a string—huh?
𖢥 Lloyd launched himself off the rooftop in hopes of getting another glimpse of this mysterious person.
“You’re persistent Greenie gotta give you that.”
“Greenie? What do you— never mind scratch that. Hey!—“
You didn’t answer, only swung effortlessly between buildings disappearing in between.
𖢥 Days had passed, journalists eventually picking up on the new red charming hero, everything happening too fast.
“Is the new hero a part of the ninja?”
“How do they produce their webs?”
“Why do they call themselves spidergirl-“
And ironically merchandising of this new hero finding its way into comic stores.
𖢥 The night was quiet and usual, Kai decided to visit Skylor during her working hours in the noodle restaurant and the others joined uninvited.
The air buzzed with the chatter of costumers and clinking of bowls and chopsticks.
Everyone doing their own thing while Lloyd sat toying with his noodles. He wasn’t sulking of course! He was just uh..distracted.
Staring out of the window—there was a sudden whoosh a flicker of red and blue.
Oh. You weren’t getting away this time.
“I’ll be right back.”
“Wait you didn’t even touch your food-“ Jay said, mouth full.
Lloyd was already out the door.
𖢥 Lloyd dashed through the the crowd, looking quite foolish with how many people he was bumping into.
Oh he was so close—sudden rain. Sudden mud. Sudden slip.
“Careful Greenie. The mud is not too fond of sudden surprise kissing..PFFFT-“
Greenie? Oh right. That night you saw his face. Woah this is embarrassing.
“I,uh—slipped on purpose. You know cuz you’re so..”
What was the flirting ‘technique’ Kai give him again. Head empty.
As you were about the swing again—you felt someone tugging your suit.
“Can I atleast know who you are?” Lloyd shouts.
Your smile under your mask was almost visible as you hand him a note and swing away just as quickly.
“Your friendly neighbour
-spidergirl.”
𖢥 When Lloyd returned back looking like a wet drowned rat, Kai slightly had an idea of what was going on.
𖢥 After this mini incident Lloyd started seeing you more and more. Occasionally making small talks and slowly getting to know you.
𖢥 Even if he didn’t see you. You never left his mind. I mean everyday you put your life on the line for civilians and you’re such a noble hero—okay enough.
₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊
𖢥 Llloyd stood in the alley, staring up at rooftops. He was supposed to go to the store. But his gut feeling was telling him you were near. Weirdly you actually were near.
A soft thwip echoed above. Naturally Lloyd looked up only to see you descend slowly, upside down, hanging from a web. Too close. Mask pulled up only halfway leaving your lips visible.
“Hey there, Green ninja. You always hanging around alleys hoping to see me?”
“Well, I wasn’t planning on having company tonight, but I think I’ll make an exception.”
Rain started to pour in just like last time. Of course you started grinning. As you were about to ask if the mud was a good kisser your eyes locked with Lloyds.
The silence only building up the tension.
…with no idea what came over you
you swung yourself closer to Lloyd.
Then without any warning you leaned in—oh my god.
It was nice too nice to be real.
The brief kiss ends with a soft smile from both sides.
Whats visible of your cheeks being almost as red as your suit.
What about Lloyd you say? Nothing major died 3 seconds ago from a heart attack.
₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊
Extra:
“So Lloyd what did you say after the kiss? Don’t tell me you thanked her.” Kai exclaimed.
“What else was I supposed to do-“
“LMFAOOOOOOOOO.”

dating the ninja: series (headcanons) | lloyd garmadon , jay walker x reader<3 ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n: theres a word limit, and i dont have enough space to add all the ninjas in one whole post, so we're doing this in parts of two. hence; series! part one will be lloyd and jay :) also this is mostly my old writing, words may not be spelled correctly.
warnings: none really, more like i cant remember lol
just enjoy (╥﹏╥)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
 · It took him so long to consider liking you. He's been through so much, especially after Harumi, he's scared to fall in love again.
 · But he's been with you, even before Harumi and he knows you're not a bad person. He just has some trust issues her's trying t deal with.
 · Harumi kinda broke him :/
 · After considering his crush on you, it was Jay and Kai's mission to make him confess to you. Nya was with you on the other end. You told her you liked Lloyd for while and she had the biggest, dorkiest smile on her face as she squealed and hugged you.
 · When Jay confessed to her, she was speechless, she can only imagine the pain you feel not being able to tell the person you liked them.
 · Confessing to you was the hardest thing he's ever had to do. He would stammer on his words, make weird Lloyd noises like groans or whines when he messed up on a simple sentence, and his face would be as red as a tomato.
 · You felt stunned when Lloyd stood in front of you waiting for a response. You would say nothing but give him a hug and said 'I love you too, Lloyd.' and he had tears of joy falling from his eyes.
 · Nya, Kai, and Jay would be in the back hiding, spying on the too. When they say them hug and kiss each other on the lips, Jay jumped out a screamed "LET'S GOO!!"
 · Durning the relationship, Lloyd would be the sweetest boyfriend even though he has no clue what he's doing. He wants to give you the world, but has no idea how to do that.
 · He's also not the best with PDA. He's never received much as a kid, so he gets a bit jumpy when someone hugs him by surprise or when he holds someone for a certain amount of time.
 · Comic store dates>>>
 · He has no idea how to plan a date, so he normally asks if you want to go to the comic book store with him and you'll go from there.
 · One time a date ended with you both getting ice cream and taking a walk around the beach docks. Wanting to take a peaceful selfie of you and him and a sudden seagull came and snatched his ice cream right out of his cone, hitting him in the face.
 · You now have a photo of a burry Lloyd losing a fight to a seagull while your in the back scared but laughing at the same time.
 · You taught Lloyd how to ride a bike. When he was still younger you noticed how little he knew about riding a bike, so when he grew you were able to show him and he got a little bit embarrassed when the guys found out.
 · When you both sleep, Lloyd's normally the first to wake up but he's  g r u m p y !!!
 · He wakes up because of training and because of that he's kinda forgotten how to sleep in in the mornings. Hence why's he's so tired in the mornings and sometimes afternoons?
 · He's also nervous to cuddle you while you sleep, but it's cute when they guys catch him snuggling into him like a cat in the mornings. He tends to cuddle into you during your and his sleep, it's so cute to catch.
 · Did I mention he's a cat person? Lol
 · Run your fingers through his hair, tell him he's worth it, just make him feel proud of himself and he'll be wrapped around your finger just like that.
 · He's willing to do anything for you, do the same for him!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
 · Non-stop kisses. Whenever he sees you you better be ready to be bombarded by kisses to the lips, cheeks, nose, and even forehead from the Lightning Ninja!
 · He likes to sneak up behind you and give you surprise kisses on the cheek. He loves seeing the way you jump forward when he scares you and when he sees that blush that forms on your face? He's gonna 'awe' at it and poke your cheek.
 · He was the first one to confess to you. It was actually not planned out even though he did plan it out with the help from Kai and Cole, but of course, it backfired during a 'date' Kai and Cole made up for the two of you.
 · He ended up blurbing it out all in one breath-
  · "Y/NITHINKYOURTHEMOSTAMAZINGPERSONINTHEWORLDANDIDONTKNOWWHATIWOULDOIFINNEVERMETYOU!YOURTHEBESTPERSONIHAVEEVERMETANDIWANTEDTOTELLYOUILOVEDYOUFORSOLONGBUTIDIDN'TKNOWIFYOUFELTTHESAMEFORME!SOIUNDERSTANDIFYOU-"
 · You shut him by placing a gentle kiss on his lips, pulling away, and giving him the sweetest of smiles. "I love you too, JJ."
 · The amount of confidence he's got now because of that moment>>
 · Kai got a bit jealous when he was told Jay was able to get himself a lover before him, and Jay took advantage of that always giving you a quick kiss on the lips when Kai walks by, wrapping an arm around your waist during movie night and seeing the angry look Kai gave him.
 · Jay never felt more pleased- PFT
 · Kai soon found Skylor and his jealousy was soon gone.
· Dates happen more often than you think. He takes you to the movies, gets some food, but he's sometimes broke and only has enough for take-out and you both sit in your room in your apartment and watch some Netflix.
 · You both like to help PIXAL repair some of the vehicles. The Bounty is the main vehicle you repair. The Super Sonic Radar is also one of them and Jay adores the time you both have while PIXAL'S basically third-wheeling.
 · If you go to school, Jay loves to walk with you. He'll offer to carry your bags, books, heck he even offered to carry you!
 · When you make it to school, Jay acts like it's the last time he'll ever see you again.
 · 'Do you haaave to go? I'll be alone allll day without your cuddles."
 · He gave you the cutest of puppy dog eyes, but you tried to endure it and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, "I'll be back later, Jay. Don't get your bolts in a knot!"
 · You came back and he tackles you, every daywhen you come home it's adorable.
 · His favorite place to kiss you has got to be your nose. The way it scrunches up is so cute he can kiss it all day. His hands are on your cheeks, but they're sometimes also in your hair or hands.
 · He's a cuddle bug, if you haven't already known, he can hug you all day and he will! One morning he refused to remove himself from your touch, so he rolled onto your back and you struggled to stand up...but once you did you basically gave him a piggyback ride until it was time to train.
 · For breakfast he just chewed on a piece of buttered toast and Zane was not pleased. He told Jay to eat a proper breakfast but Jay was too into the toast and your warm touch to listen to the Nindroid.
 · Speaking of mornings, Jay takes up almost the entire bed it's so hard to share one with him, but you're able to somehow get some room, but his hand is smacking you in the face and his legs are tangled with yours. Thank god you are used to it.
 · When he wakes up there's drool on the sheets but he just wipes it down with his hands and turns back onto his back where he accidentally pushes you off the bed now he's awake when he hears a loud thud and you standing up with a scream causing him to scream.
 · You rarely cuddle in the morning because one Jay pushed you out of bed and two you're both wide awake.
 · He uses such dorky nicknames like, what??
 · " Hey Cutie Patootie!  "Snuggle Muffin"
       ( or if your a boy )
 · "Mister Man"  "Baby Boy"
 · He's cringe but that's okay

went to go work on raising hell and ended up missing Skylor, so!! I will always have so many emotions about s8/9 and the aftermath of it, here's another gallon of them.
Two months after they’ve taken back the city and the street lights are finally starting to work again, Lloyd shows up at the restaurant an hour past closing time, sporting a spectacular bruise and enough blood across his gi to make the Ninjago City Blood Drive team’s day.
“Hi, Sky.” Lloyd waltzes — or attempts to, it’s more of a stumbling collapse — right in as if nothing’s amiss in the slightest. “Sorry, I’m, uh. Was in the neighborhood and I wasn’ sure…where else t’ go.”
Skylor, still frozen over a stained tabletop with her dishtowel in hand, stares at him.
All things considered, she should be fully prepared for something like this. It should practically be in her restaurant’s training manual, that at some point you’ll end up confronted with a bloody, half-dead ninja in your door. But given how slow the past few weeks have been, coupled with the sheer exhaustion of dealing with the lunch rush and the dinner rush and the late-night somewhat-inebriated people rush, her guard is apparently down enough to leave her reacting with a simple, useless, “Oh god.”
“Tha’s my grandfather,” Lloyd says. There’s blood at the corner of his mouth — coupled with the bruising, Skylor thinks (hopes) it’s simply from split skin or a bitten cheek, instead of crippling internal bleeding.
Crippling internal bleeding is enough of a concern to finally spur her into action, dropping her towel and rushing over to help Lloyd finish stumbling through the door. She spares a moment of thanks, that there’s even a door at all — repairs in the city have been slow, since Harumi’s brief reign of terror, and the insurance provider is still holding out on her.
But the door was a good thing to prioritize, she thinks, bolting it firmly behind them.
“Sorry, again,” Lloyd murmurs. His jaw is working in the tight way it does when he’s biting back pain, his bottom lip bruised and bleeding. Skylor’s stomach twists.
You’d think, after all she’s been through, she’d be more accustomed to seeing the people she cares about in pain. That she’d be desensitized enough, to fight back the aching nausea and the gnawing desire to look away.
Or maybe she’s just a coward. That would track, she thinks.
“Shush,” she says instead, maneuvering Lloyd further into one of the nicer booths, careful of the blood that’s…everywhere. “What did you do to yourself this time, huh?”
“I didn’t do anything,” Lloyd grumbles, his voice steadier now that he’s sitting down. Unfortunately, he’s only paler under the yellowy restaurant lights, and the blood looks about ten times worse. “I just…slipped. A bit.”
Slipped. Skylor could smack him, if he wasn’t already hurt.
“Lemme see, then.” She bends down to where she can tug the folds of his gi back, trying to trace the blood to a source. She finally finds it — an ugly wound in his left shoulder, several long gashes across his forearm. A knife, maybe. Possibly a sword, but it looks close-up and quick. It’d need to have been quick, for whoever was wielding it to land this many hits.
Or Lloyd would have to be sloppy.
Lloyd gives a stifled, shuddery exhale, a dangerous preamble to tears. Skylor pauses, just for a moment, and deliberates.
She’s got Nya’s number, carefully keyed into her phone ever since she and Kai started visiting the noodle house. There’s no doubt in her mind that she’d want to know about this — and there’s less doubt that Kai would want to know. if anything, she’s surprised he hasn’t burst through the restaurant doors already, summoned by whatever sixth sense he has that goes off when Lloyd’s in danger.
But Skylor also knows there’s got to be a reason that Lloyd came here, despite his claims. Just as there’s probably a reason he didn’t call Kai or Nya, or any of the others.
And perhaps she feels just a little proud, that Lloyd’s chosen her to come to.
It’s quickly lost in the blood that coats her hands as she begins patching the wound in his shoulder, but the feeling’s there nonetheless.
It’s a nice feeling, being relied on. Being trusted.
“Who got you this bad?”
She speaks up mostly to break the quiet. Lloyd isn’t quite like Kai, who likes talking simply to fill a space, but she knows he isn’t fond of silence, either. It’s one of the things they share in common.
“No one.” Lloyd sucks in a breath as she draws the bandage tight across his shoulder, wrapping it beneath his arm and back over. His eyes close briefly as she ties it off, forehead scrunching up, before he lets out another shuddery exhale. “Some guy, uh — guy on the way home, near the subway. I had answered a call earlier, and I guess — ow, hey—”
“Sorry,” Skylor winces, as she finishes dumping antiseptic across the slashes on his arm. “It hurts less if you aren’t expecting it.”
“That’s a lie,” Lloyd says, pointedly.
She shrugs. “So, random subway mugger?”
Lloyd looks away, his cheeks darkening. It’s a relief, to see any color in his face at all. “Sort of.”
He leaves it at that, lapsing back into silence. Skylor looks down, focusing on the butterfly stitches she’s placing across his arm. Were it anyone else, she’d have panicked for actual stitches, but Lloyd heals with an uncanny quickness. She remembers Nya complaining about it, back during the Resistance — how Lloyd threw a fit when his skin healed over the stitches, and they’d had to cut him open all over again.
She’d probably throw a fit of her own, to be fair.
“Well, if you see him,” she says, reaching for the roll of bandages. “Point him out. I could use a punching bag.”
Lloyd’s lips quirk, a ghost of a smile.
“Thank you.”
It’s quiet enough she might’ve missed it, if they were any further apart. Skylor doesn’t miss the meaning, either. She simply shakes her head, wrapping another layer around his arm.
“I’m just glad you came to someone,” she says. “Instead of half-assing it yourself.”
Lloyd’s fingers twitch. “I wouldn’t do that.”
“Uh-huh.”
She can’t pretend she doesn’t understand. Her childhood is filled with fun little memories of patching herself together, hiding wounds from Clouse or her father in an attempt to convince them she was better than she was.
Not that the people Lloyd is hiding from are anything remotely like her father, of course, but there’s an overlap between people you fear and people you love, and trying to convince them you’re stronger than you are.
“That should do it,” she nods to herself, surveying her work. She feels unusually proud of herself — Skylor’s never really stayed with a team long enough to have many chances to patch people up. It’s rarer that people are so open to her touching them, once they’ve learned what her power is. The ninja are an exceedingly kind exception, but it still makes her feel warm, being given this kind of trust.
She glances up, eyeing her patient. Lloyd’s still pale, but it’s far better than the ashy color from earlier anymore. “Anywhere else?”
“No.” Lloyd stares at the strip of bandages across his arms, shoulders hunched over on himself.
“I have Nya on speed dial, you know—”
“Its just a few scrapes,” Lloyd rolls his eyes. “It’s nothing.”
Skylor sighs. “Lemme see.”
Lloyd grumbles, but he lets her grab his arm again, wincing as she dabs antiseptic over the smaller cuts. There’s nothing serious — just a few nicks and scratches, the kind you get from eating the ground mid-fight. He’s got one uglier scrape, but it’s about as nasty as a skinned knee, and easily eclipsed by the scar it bleeds through.
Her fingers falter. She knows this scar — she was there when Kai struggled to patch the wound it once was, back on her father’s island. It’s an ugly, jagged scar, a testament to how Kai’s hands had shook as he’d tried to be gentle.
In hindsight, it had been a terrible moment. Kai wasn’t sure if Lloyd had picked up the wound from the underground tunnels, Chen’s cultists, or his own brief slip into the madness of the staff. Lloyd wouldn’t say where it was from, even if either of them had been much for talking. And Skylor had been an awkward, purple-scaled fixture next to them, holding the medical kit while the others planned how to kill her father.
And yet, it was the lightest she’d ever felt.
Skylor bites her lip.
She’s never told Lloyd, what exactly he’d meant to her. He likely has no idea, what he’d represented when she’d first met him.
The son of one of Ninjago’s greatest villains — and people loved him.
Kai loved him.
If Lloyd could overcome the hurdle of his parentage and choose to live the way he wanted, if people could look past the dark stain of his legacy and love him anyways, then maybe—
He’d been hope, when she needed it most. And Kai had lived up to that hope, taking Skylor’s half-formed, frail dream and fueling it into a blaze.
Her eyes close, briefly, and she shivers.
“Are you okay?”
Blinking her eyes back open, she comes face to face with Lloyd’s concerned expression. She shakes her head, looking away.
“I’m fine, I’m fine.” Embarrassment pulls at her. “Just a bit of…aftershocks. You know.”
Lloyd frowns, clearly not knowing. “Aftershocks,” he repeats. “From…”
His eyes go wide, only for his expression to immediately crumple. “Oh.”
Skylor waves her hands. “It’s not bad,” she reassures him. “I can barely feel him — his power — anymore. Just pins and needles in my hands sometimes, that’s all. Totally…totally normal.”
She hopes. Garmadon’s power had burned, in the way bitter cold feels against your skin, so a bit of numbness is pretty decent tradeoff, if she says so herself.
Lloyd looks down, expression shadowed and hidden. Skylor could curse herself — she knows better, than to bring up—
“Here.” Lloyd’s suddenly holding his hand out, looking at her earnestly. It’s an almost childish expression of sincerity, one that makes him look much younger — a little more like the Lloyd she met on her father’s island, who beamed when his father ruffled his hair.
Her chest aches fiercely, and Skylor holds out her hand before she can hesitate. Lloyd takes it carefully in his own, and she watches in fascination as the low shimmer of green engulfs her fingers. Lloyd’s power is as gentle as he is — nothing like the ravaging purple storm that was his father’s.
“Oh,” she says. “That’s nice.”
Lloyd makes a humming noise. “I’ve been practicing. H-his power doesn’t get along with mine, that much. So it kinda…makes room. For whoever’s stronger, at the moment.”
Skylor fights back a shudder. Realistically, she knows she shouldn’t feel ashamed, that Garmadon overpowered her — he’s Garmadon. The reminder of how his power felt still stings, though.
It’s a reassurance, that Lloyd’s power is stronger now. His element, if you can even call it that, is probably the one she’s the least familiar with — she’s never tried to copy Lloyd’s power. She isn’t entirely sure if she could, or if she should. Dipping into Garmadon’s power was dangerous enough. Skylor isn’t stupid enough to pretend she has the willpower to meddle with the power of the FSM’s family much more than that.
“It feels like cheating, kinda,” she finally says. “That fighting fuels his power. How are you supposed to fight back?”
Lloyd shrugs, letting her hand go. “You don’t. You get really good at dodging.”
Skylor leans forward, propping her chin up in her palms. “That’s stupid.”
“Well,” Lloyd’s lips twitch, just the slightest bit. “That’s Garmadon, so.”
His expression immediately fractures, and Skylor can spot the battle in his eyes as he tries to grasp for composure. Her teeth worry at her lip.
She should really call Nya, now. Or try to track down Kai’s number. Or anyone else — it’s nearly two hours past closing, the kitchen’s still a mess, and Lloyd’s blood is all over her dishrags. Lloyd himself is hardly in better shape, the ghostly pale of his skin reminding her horribly of when she first saved them from the Sons of Garmadon, and Skylor is—
Not enough.
She ought to know that, by now.
But the fact still stands, that Lloyd came to her. A part of her clings to that, and another selfish, awful part of her, the part that festered on her father’s island for so many years, the part that still flinches beneath the weight of her last name — well.
Misery loves company, is probably the best way to put it.
“I should…I should probably get going,” Lloyd says, uncertainly. He doesn’t make any move to get up, though, still small and weary where he’s hunched up in her booth.
Skylor stares at him, and thinks of sitting for hours on the edge of her father’s island, staring at the sun on the water until her eyes ached.
“Hey,” she says, a bit breathless, twisting her fingers together. “Wanna go skip rocks?”
Quite fairly, Lloyd stares at her like she’s lost her mind.
They end up on the rickety end of one of Ninjago City’s abandoned docks anyways, a mismatched selection of somewhat flat rocks spilling out of a Chen’s to-go bag. Lloyd’s left arm is tied up in a mangled sort of sling they fashioned from Skylor’s old sweatshirt, leaving him to turn a rock over in his right hand awkwardly.
“So, funny thing,” he says. “I don’t, uh. I’m not very good at this.”
“That’s okay,” Skylor says, sifting through the rocks they’ve gathered. “I’m not, either.”
“Yeah?” Lloyd sounds hopeful. “I mean, you at least know the trick to it, right?”
“I don’t,” she shrugs. “I’ve never…I’ve never skipped rocks before.”
Lloyd stares at her.
“It’s not that weird,” she huffs, fighting back the urge to hide. “I mean, I never really had the chance, but I aways thought — I grew up near the ocean, and all these lakes, so I always thought it’d be fun to, y’know, skip rocks, since I didn’t really have…anyone else, to…”
The rest of the sentence is about to turn even more humiliating, so it’s a relief when Lloyd interrupts her.
“I haven’t either.”
He immediately flushes. “That’s why I’m not good at it.’Cause I’ve never actually skipped rocks.”
“Oh.” Skylor looks at their bag, then back up at him. “Well, cool. We’ll both suck, then.”
“How hard can it be, anyways?” Lloyd says, sorting through their rocks. “You just find a flat one, right?”
“Yeah,” Skylor says. “Then you sort of just, frisbee it. I think.”
“Hm.”
“You haven’t thrown a frisbee either, have you.”
“Oh, like you have.”
Skylor presses her lips together, snorting. “Was wondering when your snark was gonna show back up.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Do you not remember half the stuff that came out of your mouth, back at the tournament?”
“You would’ve been out of your mind too, if you had to herd the guys around then — also, bold words coming from you, ooh, how dare you call me a traitor, even though it’s totally dead-on—”
“That wasn’t even close to what I said, and also—” Skylor snatches a smooth rock before Lloyd can, hefting it up. “It’s not like I was gonna admit to you all I was a traitor. That defeats the whole purpose of betraying. Lying my way out of a corner was the smart choice.”
“You’d be surprised,” Lloyd mutters, as Skylor flings her rock across the water.
They both watch as it splashes sadly, sinking instantly like, well. A rock.
“Okay,” Skylor cringes. “That was a warm-up.”
Several warm-ups later, neither of them have made any progress whatsoever, save to torment whatever fish are hanging out on this side of Ninjago City’s harbor with relentless rock barrages.
“This is ridiculous,” Lloyd huffs, watching as his rock all but torpedoes into the water. “What’s wrong with us, that we can’t get one stupid rock to skip?”
“Maybe it’s in the wrist?” Skylor flexes her hand, angling it one way then another. She winds ups, throws the rock out, and — nope.
“I think we’re getting worse,” Lloyd remarks as Skylor sputters, wiping the seawater that splashed up from her face.
She can’t help but agree. They’re down to a few rocks left, and neither of them have made any progress, much less skipped a single rock. At some point, they give up altogether, seeing who can throw their rock out the furthest instead.
“This one’s going…” Lloyd raises his arm, closing one eye and squinting as he angles higher. He finally pauses with his hand pointing upwards toward Ninjago City. “Right through that weird oval thing on Borg Tower.”
“Don’t hit it too hard,” Skylor says. “They just got it back up last week.”
“I’m not hitting it, it’s going through it, weren’t you listening?”
“To you? Nah. I’ve heard you suck at public speaking.”
“Wow, after you forced me into the live broadcast and everything—”
As if to emphasize his distress, Lloyd takes a running start, hurling the rock forward. They watch as it arcs across the skyline, before plummeting somewhere in the harbor.
“So close,” Skylor murmurs.
Lloyd flops on the ground with a dull thump, legs sprawling in front of him as he leans back on his elbows. Skylor’s makeshift sling isn’t doing much at all anymore, though it looks like he doesn’t need it to.
That, or he’s hiding pain stupidly well. Which wouldn’t be surprising, if disappointing.
“Defeated,” he mourns. “Overthrown by rocks.”
Skylor dusts gingerly at the ground before sitting next to him. “They sure got the best of us, this time.”
“Maybe it’s a learning curve,” he says. “That or we missed, like, the optimal rock-skipping development time.”
“Mmh. Maybe we need to recruit a teacher who actually had a decent childhood.”
“If you find someone, lemme know.”
They both laugh, breathless and hollow, because they’re not much else they can say, to that.
Lloyd sits up suddenly, pulling his knees to his chest. His arms wrap tightly around them, eyes glued forward. Instead of asking, Skylor follows his gaze to the skyline of Ninjago City, the darkened scars left behind by Garmadon and Harumi painfully pronounced this late at night.
It couldn’t have been longer than two weeks, could it? Their rule over the city?
It feels like years.
She can’t imagine what it must’ve been like for the others — can’t imagine what it was like, ending it.
It pains her, but Skylor doesn’t remember much of Garmadon’s defeat. She’d thrown everything she had into controlling his power, and when it had snapped back on her, ravaging through her like a cloying poison, everything had gone dark and hazy.
It kind of sucks, because she’d done all that just to miss the most important parts, but…it is what it is.
What she does remember, besides Nya’s steady voice and Dareth’s panicked yelling, is the blazing warmth that was Lloyd carrying her.
That and his painfully bony shoulder digging into her stomach.
“I was trying not to get us crushed,” Lloyd mutters, cheeks turning pink. “Sorry my shoulder wasn’t up to cushion-y standards.”
“And I’m trying to say thank you,” Skylor sighs. “But seriously. Put something on those bones.”
“Meh meh meh,” Lloyd mocks. There’s a lack of his usual energy in the action, the dullness to his eyes only made worse by the bruise-like circles beneath them. But it’s still very Lloyd — a flash of the friend she knows.
“I really do mean it,” she says. “Thank you. For carrying me out of there. For saving me.”
Lloyd stares at her with dark eyes. Not as dark as they were, back when he’d lost his power, but the glow is almost entirely absent.
“You shouldn’t—” he bites off, frustrated. He tosses the rock he’s holding, up and down. “It was never a question.”
He glances at her. “Besides,” and there’s the closest she’s seen to a real smile. “You saved us first.”
Not nearly soon enough, she thinks.
She should’ve told him, should have asked — should have let him know how it felt to watch her father fall deeper into madness, told him what it felt like to lose hope — what it meant, to move on.
To cut ties, before they strangled you.
“How are you,” she says, as gently as she can. Then, because gentle doesn’t always get you through the walls they build— “For real. Not how people want to hear you’re doing, or the answer you think they want. How are you.”
Lloyd stiffens. There’s a flicker of fear in his expression, his mouth moving on instinct.
“I’m doing okay.”
Tremors lace through his hand where he holds the rock, shuddering fingers tracing over the rough surface.
“Okay as I can be.” He looks down, the rock slipping from his fingers as his arms wrap around himself. “I know that isn’t the answer you want, but I don’t…”
He looks back up, the lights of Ninjago City misty in his eyes.
“I don’t know what people want me to say,” he whispers.
Skylor wishes he’d screamed it. Wishes he’d snap, wishes he’d find the anger where it simmers inside him and turn it outwards against the world, rather than violently projecting it inwards like a masochistic missile all the time. Anything at all, instead of this hollow brokenness.
It reminds Skylor a bit too much of—
Well.
“I know I — things are—” Lloyd swallows. He pauses, raising his hand to scrub at an already-bloodshot eye. “Everything happened so fast. It was like — like getting hit with a bus, then another bus, then she — put the bus in reverse and ran me back over, and I never really had the chance to…to…”
“To get back up?”
Lloyd nods. He picks absently at a bloodstained patch on the leg of his gi. “And I know that’s just a stupid metaphor, but getting back up is…it’s really—”
Lloyd’s pulling threads loose now, tugging hard enough that he’s likely to start unraveling holes in his gi.
“Can I tell you something? Something that’s not…not so good.”
“Hey, you know me.” Skylor elbows him. “I’m an expert at not-good.”
Lloyd’s eyes are a little too knowing. “You’re really not.”
And she’d turn a mirror on him, if she could. “What is it, then?”
Lloyd looks away, one unusually-sharp tooth gnawing at his lip.
“I know my dad — my dad I used to have — he loved me. I know he did.” Lloyd sounds, rather devastatingly, like he’s trying to convince himself. “But now that he’s…now that he’s like this, and after everything that happened, I almost wish — I almost—”
He cuts off, covering his face with his hands. “Never mind.”
Skylor stays still, her gaze fixed ahead on a dark spot in the city skyline. If it were her, she’d want—
Lloyd’s voice is a muffled whisper. “I wish he’d never loved me at all.”
Skylor lets out a long, shaky breath.
Lloyd gives a dry, horrible kind of laugh. “That’s terrible, isn’t it? It’s so selfish, it’s — I’m a horrible person, for thinking that way. But it — it hurts now, to think that — that maybe, now that I’m different — and her — that even my dad—”
“It hurts,” she murmurs. “To lose it. To think that it’s your fault.”
Lloyd brings his arms over his head, the bandages on his left arm a stark white in the dimness as he buries his face in his knees. Curling up, as if he can make himself small enough the world will finally forget he exists.
Skylor’s…familiar.
But then again, is she?
She swallows. Her father was one thing, but if — if he came back now, after she’s worked so hard to move on — at the height of his madness, what would she do?
She’s out of her depth, as she’s always been.
But there was a reason she answered the call so fervently, a reason she followed Lloyd without hesitation. Skylor doesn’t put much stock in the Green Ninja, doesn’t put much in any kind of prophecy. But she does care, very much, about Lloyd, and she thinks that’ll take her a bit farther.
“You know.” She looks down, running her finger over their last rock. “You were one of the first people that gave me any hope that I could change. That, uh, someone could love me.”
Lloyd startles, emerging just enough that she can see the green of an eye. “Huh? Me?”
She nods. “Back on my father’s island, during the tournament. I was convinced that…that after everything I’d done, with who I was, there wasn’t a chance I’d find someone who loved me.”
Lloyd frowns, lowering his arms so he can look at her fully. “But I didn’t — Kai was the one who reached out to you. He was the one that saw you. I didn’t…I didn’t really do anything.”
“Yeah. He did. But he reached out to you, first.”
Lloyd stares at her, eyes wide. Skylor smiles at him. “You were good. No matter how bad your family had been. And it…it had been okay, for you.”
The mistiness returns to Lloyd’s eyes as he looks back to the skyline, his lip caught tightly between his teeth.
“We’re doing okay, right?” Skylor pulls her own knees up to her chest. “You and me. I mean, we helped, a lot. We fought back for the city. You did a lot more than me, obviously, but—”
“Don’t say that,” Lloyd sounds pained. “Don’t compare it, like I’m — I do a lot more harm than good, sometimes.”
“You don’t say that,” Skylor snaps.
Lloyd flinches. She bows her head, staring down at her feet.
“We’re good,” she says, hating the way her voice wobbles. “We’re different.”
It’s occurring to her, how cold it is out here on the water. She hopes Lloyd doesn’t get home with a cold, on top of everything else.
“We’re different,” Lloyd echoes.
“Yeah.” Skylor swallows. “That has to count for something, right?”
Lloyd makes a small noise, but it isn’t one of disagreement. There’s a rustling as he reaches for the bag, then holds out their final, sad rock.
“Wanna give it the last try?” He gives her a crooked, half smile. “Make it count?”
Her fingers close over the rough surface, cold against the warmth of his hand.
The brightness of the sun against water on her father’s island in her eyes, Skylor flings the rock as hard as she can, far enough that it’s swallowed entirely by the harbor darkness.
If she tries, she can imagine it skipping, just once, across the freezing waters.
She tells herself, it counts anyways.

I had a strange dream about the end of the 3 season of dr
The ninja managed to free Morro and Cole, and they convinced Jay to join them. Then, the ninja started thinking of a way to defeat Thunderfang. Kai remembered that he had brought scrolls from different realms. As the ninja searched through them, they found a method: for each ninja to merge with their element (like what Nya did with the ocean) and then fuse with the chosen person.
At that moment, everyone looked at Lloyd and understood what it meant. After the ninja succeeded in doing this, their elements merged with Lloyd, and his appearance completely changed. He became known as “The Ultimate Ninja.”
When Lloyd faced Thunderfang, he was very powerful, but it was difficult for him to control such immense power. Before Lloyd fell, Morro helped him and came up with an idea — to possess Lloyd (like in season 5), but only partially — 50% — so he could help him. Lloyd hesitated, but Sora told him it was their only hope, so he agreed.
Lloyd then faced Thunderfang again, this time with Morro, and they managed to fight him. At the same time, the new ninja were fighting forbidden five, and Sora came up with a plan to defeat them — and it worked
Meanwhile, Master Wu appeared in the background and said "Finally, they’ve begun to work together…" (he said it to the new or the old ninja?)
Then the ninja won the battle, and everything returned to normal.
Back at the monastery, the ninja celebrated. Among the events that happened, Frak accidentally confessed his love to Sora. She was surprised and asked him what he said, but he replied, 'Nothing!' and ran away
Meanwhile, Cole was hugging his children, happy that they were safe. Then Cole hugged geo, and they shared a kiss.
At the same time, Lloyd was speaking with Morro. Morro said they would find Wu, and Lloyd suggested that Morro stay. But Morro replied that he had to protect people in the Realm of Departed. Then Lloyd asked if, before he go, Morro could at least train the new wind master until she became skilled with her powers and Morro agreed.
At that same moment, Kai went to Nya and told her that they would be able to restore Jay’s memory And if don't, he will Hit him to make it back. and Nya laughed

Starstruck [Ninjago x Male Reader]-Child's Play
Previous chapter
The ninja were extremely ecstatic to have their beloved Bounty back. The group worked tirelessly to return the ship to its original state, repainting, restyling, ect. Kai, Zane, Cole, and Jay got their room back, which no longer seemed cramped compared to the tiny apartment.
Having their home back gave Zane a sense of ease and normalcy.. until night. He was laying on his back in his bunk bed, just staring up. Something was missing. After some time, he didn't know how long but it felt like forever, he sat up and got out of bed. His light footsteps pattered against the polished wood halls. He came up to M/n's door and just stared. His heart ached to cuddle with the dragon but his mind raced with 'what-ifs'. His hand moved involuntarily and gently turned the handle, pushing it open. He could see the shadow of the hybrid sitting up, not startled but not groggy, almost as if expecting the Nindroid or maybe experiencing the same thing they felt.
"Zane," his angelic voice snapped them back to reality. They were now face to face, soft eyes barely visible in the darkness.
M/n's gentle hands grazed his as he slowly led them back to his bed. The Nindroid climbed in bed after him and they cuddled up together.
"I missed this," the dragon purred contently.
"Me too. You make me feel so.." Zane breathed gently, "alive. I want to stay like this forever.."
M/n rubbed his head against the robot's jaw like a cat. When he brought his head up their faces were close, breaths mixing together.
"Can I.. kiss you?" the hybrid whispered. Zane only nodded in reply.
Their lips met with gentle resolve, warmth blossoming in both their chests. M/n's hand raised to cradle the back of Zane's head while gently playing with the baby hairs on their neck.
The two pull apart with a pant, eyes slowly opening to meet each others' gazes.
"Do that mean my feelings are reciprocated?.." Zane asked in a hushed tone.
M/n's face broke out in a giddy smile, reflecting the warmth he felt inside, "yes." The dragon placed a affectionate kiss on the Nindroid's nose, "now go to bed, Zane," suggested gently, cuddling closer under the blanket.
~
Lloyd looked out longingly off the side of the Bounty at the children of a village below playing ball. The boys kicked the ball, laughing and tackling each other before finally scoring. The Green Ninja sighed as he grasped the yellow railing.
"Lloyd? Lloyd!" Kai's voice broke through his thoughts, demanding, "Concentrate!"
The blonde boy looked back at the ninja with a frown.
"Now that the Bounty is in our possession again, we can train you more effectively," Zane encouraged, "But you'll have to focus. One more time."
"But we've been training all day," Lloyd complained, throwing his hands in the air.
"It's all to get you ready to face your father. Now, in position," Cole commanded.
The boy deflated with a sigh and an unenthusiastic 'whatever.' He uninterestedly sauntered into the middle of the deck, letting out a dramatic yawn before getting into a lazy fighting position.
The four ninja posed in front of the green one. Kai leapt forward first, going for an obvious kick. The move left him completely open and vulnerable, so Lloyd simply punched him away. The hothead landed roughly on his back, giving a look to his comrades. The Blue and White ninja lunged forward simultaneously; Lloyd spun into a flash a green. He met the two midair and pushed them onto the wood deck. Cole, from behind, knocked the child's feet out from under him and sent him into the air with a surprised yelp.
Instead of crashing back onto deck Lloyd was surprised to find himself floating above the ship. The sound of wings flapping directed everyone's attention upward. M/n flew above deck holding the blonde boy by his underarms giving a concerned look. He gently lowered them back to the floor, setting Lloyd down on his feet.
"Are you alright?" the dragon asked with his hands on the boy's round cheeks. He smiled and nodded, "yeah!"
M/n spun around the face the other ninja, "you're supposed to train him, not kill him!"
Kai stepped forward, "Well you're treating him like a kid."
"He is a kid," M/n sighed.
Lloyd broke the serious air, "M/n! The latest issue of Starfarer just came in at Doomsday Comix! It might sell out though because it's on limited run. I need to know what happens to Fritz Donnegan!"
"The fate of Ninjago rests on your shoulders. As the Green Ninja, you have a giant responsibility to hold," Kai chastised, causing Lloyd to deflate into a pout and hold to M/n for reassurance, "I'm sorry, but you don't have time for such childish things."
"Other kids get to play and have fun. All I ever do is train," the boy complained, still clinging to the dragon.
The ninja glanced at each other before their attention was turned toward Nya who hurried on deck in a panic. M/n scooped the boy up and sat him on his hip now that his comrades were distracted.
"Guys, there's been a break-in at the Ninjago CityMuseum of History and the security cameras picked up you-know-who!" she exclaimed.
"Garmadon!" Cole growled.
"We have to stop him before he uses the Mega Weapon to start another one of the diabolical plots," Jay declared dramatically.
Lloyd turned to M/n with big emerald eyes. The dragon ran his nails through the boy's hair, "We'll go get that comic after we finish dealing with this, okay?" he reassured gently. The Green Ninja only nodded his head and let himself be placed back on his feet to allow M/n join his comrades.
The ninja parked their Bounty in order to dismount the ship and pilot the Sonic Raider. M/n didn't really feel like flying or transforming just to fly into Ninjago City so he and Zane sat in the same compartment, the Nindroid grinned giddily as they chatted between themselves. As Kai entered his seat he turned to his sister looking at him from the deck, "We'll meet up at the Bounty as soon as we're done."
"We'll be waiting for your safe return," Nya waves as the vehicle speeds off.
Lloyd sighed from behind her, "Too old for comic books and too young to fight. When are the ninja gonna make up their minds?"
"Come on, pint size. Show me what you got," Nya encouraged with a competitive smile
~
That night the ninja and M/n stood on the roof of the museum, the dragon was now clad in a new outfit similar to the ninja gi but it was (colors) and gold embroidery on the sleeves. The outfit was meant to allow him more stealth than his normal outfit.
Jay let a rope hang down from the roof and gripped it, slowing letting himself slide down, Kai next, then Zane, Cole, and finally M/n. The group landed on a ledge outside of a window, waited for the Lightning Master to slide the glass open before gently climbing through. They quietly made their way to the railing that overlooked the main area and crouched down. The group watched as the Serpentine generals slithered through the doors holding their staffs and flashlights.
"Boy, did they get that wrong!" Scales commented loudly as he observed an old art piece depicting anatomically incorrect Serpentine.
"Why would we come to a museum if we weren't going to steal anything from it?" the Venomari complained as the approached a golden sarcophagus.
"Because Master Garmadon," one of Fangtom's heads started and the other finished, "has another plan to destroy the ninja."
"'Master Garmadon?' Ha! He's no master of mine," Scales mocked, "Since his so-called Mega Weapon has failed every time, I don't see why we don't call our own shots."
"Because this time I will not fail," Garmadon's voice echoed causing the Serpentine and ninja to turn their heads toward the noise. Skales flinched and dropped and staff and flashlight which landed perfectly to shine on the oni.
"Yes, Lord Garmadon," The leaders save for Skales chanted before bowing. The Hypnobrai looked around and sighed, reluctantly bowing as well, "Yes, Lord Garmadon.." The four rose and slithered closer to Garmadon with their subordinate snakes following in the background.
"Behold, Dromaeosaurid Theropod Grundalicus," Lord Garmadon announced, motioning to the fossil behind him, "otherwise known as the Grundle." M/n had heard of the Grundle, a vicious apex predator, he worried at what the oni might do with the bones. The Lord of Darkness continued, "Although now extinct, in its time, it was the most feared and dangerous creature in all of Ninjago, with claws that could slice through steel, heightened senses that could detect its prey from miles away. It could track the stealthiest of ninja, and once it had picked up your scent, there was no hiding from it."
Jay chuckled quietly, "Boy, am I glad we live in an age where we don't have to deal with those things."
"Thanks for the history lesson," Scales spat sarcastically, "but what are we gonna do with a pile of bones?"
"I am going to make it so the beast shall walk again," He declared.
The ninja and M/n glanced at each other with concern when Garmadon confidently turned toward the display and rose his Mega Weapon. "I'm not sure if he can really pull off such a stunt but we need to interfere before he proves if he can," M/n suggested to his comrades.
"Rise, Grundle, and feel the strength of the Mega Weapon! I wish to create the power to make you young. Turn back the clock so that you are no longer extinct," He commanded as lightning formed around his golden staff and dark purple smoke began engulfing the fossil, "but hungry, hungry for the ninja!"
"Damn it," M/n cursed, "I guess he wasn't lying.."
"Oh, no! He's bringing it back!?" Jay cried in a hushed voice.
"Not if we have any say in the matter," Zane reassured as he stood defiantly.
The rest of the ninja followed suit, standing on the rail to reveal themselves and weapons raised. M/n watches in confusion, wondering why they didn't sneak toward the skeleton instead.
"The ninja! Stop them!" Garmadon commanded, continuing to try to turn back time.
The ninja made their was toward the dead Grundle while spears were thrown their way and M/n, annoyed, followed behind.
"Rise, Grundle! Rise!" the oni demanded hastily.
"We can't let him finish. Go!" Cole yelled, not hesitating to leap onto the fossilized spine. Jay and Zane look at each other with a shrug before joining the Earth Master.
"Stop them!" Garmadon bellowed to his useless underlings.
"This is not a solid plan, Cole," Zane points out as the display of bones wobbles and struggles to keep form. The Serpentine poked their javelins at the teetering ninja, causing them to fall into a pile on the museum floor.
Kai and M/n locked eyes before the dragon took off into the air, swiftly grabbing the hothead. The duo avoided thrown weapons and shaking bones in order to get close, close enough to Garmadon for Kai to throw his sword and knock the weapon from the oni's grasp. The weapon discharged the built-up energy and disrupted the spell's process.
"Not again. Not again!" Garmadon shouted childishly.
Skales taunted, "And you said it wouldn't fail."
"Retreat!" he growled in response, picking up the Mega Weapon and facing the ninja, "Curse you, ninjas!" he whined before running off.
"We stopped them," Jay laughed, "Well, I thought we handled that well."
M/n's ears perked at a small scraping noise and whipped around to see the four Serpentine generals lifting the golden sarcophagus, "Hey! Stop!" he demanded, giving chase.
The snakes quickly slithered through the back doors and into the street with M/n hot on their tails. As soon as the dragon felt the cool air on his skin he took to the chill sky. "After them!" he heard Kai exclaim as he exited the building after him. The hybrid continued to fly after the generals but his body felt increasingly heavy and he felt dreary as if he needed a nap. The Serpentine escaped down a manhole before his eyes could process. He landed back on the ground with a small stumble near his friends. He rubbed his eye with a yawn.
"I can't believe we couldn't catch up to them," Jay's unusually squeaky voice cried, "I'm usually faster than that. It's as if my legs were half the size.."
"I don't remember that thing being so big. Did it grow?" Kai wondered, staring at the sarcophagus propped against the building.
"Or did we shrink?" Zane suggested
"Uh, guys?" Kai pointed toward at their reflection in the glass across from them.
"Ahh! We shrunk!!" Jay squealed in terror.
"We're.. we're kids!" Kai exclaimed in surprise, whipping of his mask, the other doing so as well.
The four looked at each other and jumped back with a prolonged scream.
"Oh, oh, oh, this is bad! This is so bad on so many levels!" Jay yelled.
"Oh, it's impossible! We must be dreaming, Zane!" Cole declared, "Tell me we're dreaming!!"
"It is impossible to dream together. Perhaps Garmadon succeeded in turning back the clock, but instead of reviving the Grundal, it only affected us," The Nindroid suggested calmly.
"Yeah, but Nindroids don't turn into kids. Explain that, genius," Jay snidely replied.
"I've extended my logic parameters, but nothing is coming up. This does not compute!" Zane worried, his eye twitching emitting a spark.
"Guys, where's M/n?" Cole asked, turning circles to find his dragon companion. Kai took a step back and fell back on his ass. Underneath his legs, a lump of sleeping mass, M/n was curled up in a ball. The dragonette slowly raised his head with a yawn.
"M/n, are you alright?" Zane wondered after he helped Kai up.
In response he unfolded into a sitting position and looked up at the Nindroid with sleepy eyelids, giving a small nod. The baby dragon features were exaggerated, small wings and horns paired with a big tail and large, pointed, drooped ears.
"Oh, but I can't be a kid again! I hated being a kid!" Cole cried, memories that he tried so hard to suppress surfacing, turning the corner and walking toward the sarcophagus, "You can't drive, nobody listens to you! Oh, no.. bedtimes!!"
Zane helps the dragonette up to his feet before following his comrades toward the golden sarcophagus with M/n attached to his arm lazily.
"I told Nya we'd meet back at the Bounty. I'm sure Sensei will know what to do," Jay suggested.
Siren wailing echoed from a distance, quickly approaching. The police car came into sight and pulled up directly in front of the mini ninja, coming dangerously close. The headlights glared right into the group's eyes. The ninja shielded their eyes with their hands while M/n just squinted his eyes and wrinkled his nose in discomfort.
Two officers exit the vehicle with condescending laughter. "Well, well, what do we got here? Looks like we've caught our culprits to the museum heist," the officer wearing a hat chortled, "Who would have thought it was just a bunch of brats? What have you got on, Apple Dumpling Gang? Pajamas?" He and his partner cackled unprofessionally.
"These aren't pajamas! We're ninja!" Jay exclaimed.
"Yeah, yeah, and I'm Santa Clause," the other officer jeered.
"Ninja, go!" Kai shouted as he began spinning. Although he produced a few sparks he began to spin out of control and sent his friends, save for M/n who stood tiredly apart from the group, flying against the cop car. "Our Spinjitzu doesn't work! We're too small!"
"Easy, kiddo," the driver seemed relatively calm about watching a child produce sparks. He grabbed Cole, "You're coming with us to the precinct," and coaxed Kai toward the car with his other hand.
"Look officers, this has been a grave misunderstanding. My friends here and I are simply trying to help out," the hothead tried to reason.
"Hey, you can tell all the stories you want when we return to the museum tomorrow to explain why you stole this," the officer replied.
"But we didn't steal it," Kai argued.
"Zip it," the officer ordered.
The hat clad officer also escorted Jay and Zane to the backseat of the vehicle. The two cops look at each other before eyeing a the dragonette curiously. "Strange little guy, isn't he?" one of the officers cocked his head at the droopy-eyed kid. The other officer put his hand on M/n's back to try to direct his to the police car but out of nowhere he whipped around and latched to the cop's hand with his sharp teeth.
"Ow! Fuck!" he yelled, trying to reel his hand back but M/n was latched on. In a panic the other officer rushed to the dragonette and wrapped his arm around his neck and yanked, forcing M/n, coughing and hacking, to come unstuck from the other cop's hand. The injured cop ran to the vehicle trunk to retrieve containment devices while the other held tight against the dragon's trachea. The officers worked in tandem to clad M/n in a muzzle and cuffs and throw him aggressively into the backseat.
"You have your tetanus shot right?" one asked while bandaging the other.
"What?" the bleeding cop asked.
"Your tetanus shot, so that you don't get rabies," he clarified
The other sat in shock before yelling, "Tetanus is what you get from rusted metal you idiot!"
~
Kai, Jay, and Cole were bowed in front of the museum curator with the officers standing behind and Zane to the side. "We're sorry for stealing!" they chanted as one.
"But we didn't. I don't understand," the Nindroid said, confused.
Kai hissed, "Shh! The quicker we get out of here, the faster we can figure out how to return our bodies back to normal"
Zane realized the plan and dropped to his knees as well, "I'm sorry for stealing, too."
One of the cops spoke up to the curator, "I don't think you'll be getting an apology from him," motioning to the restrained dragon sat on a nearby bench.
"Thank you, little boys, for returning the sarcophagus," the old man smiled, "You did the right thing. But, what about the bones?"
Jay rose and sat on his knees, "What bones? We didn't steal any bones."
"The Grundal bones," the curator replied, pointing toward the empty display.
"The Grundal bones?" Jay parroted and turned toward the barren display, the ninja getting up to observe too, "They're gone! You don't think...?"
Kai finished, "It just walked out of here?.."
"Theoretically, it is possible that if Garmadon successfully reversed the years on us, he reversed the years on the Grundle and brought it back to life," Zane stated nervously
The mini Lightning Ninja whipped around toward the adults, "You guys have to believe us! The Grundle's been brought back to life and it's on the loose! It's sole existence is to hunt ninja, and as long as we're here, everyone's at risk!" he yelled and waved his arms erratically.
Laughing, the cops sat the four kids on the bench next to M/n, "Well, we'll keep a good look out for anything that goes bump in the night, okay?" they jeered. "Now, you five sit still until we call your parents to come pick you up." The officers left, chuckling among each other.
"We've gotta get out of here, right now," Cole commanded.
The group's eyes followed a horde of school children on a field trip. "Follow my lead, boys," Kai suggested under his breath, keeping an eye on the adults. The ninja and dragon hopped off the bench and follow the kids down the hall. The mini ninja looked through the students' bags for a change of clothes, they put the shirts and pants over their ninja gis in order to blend in.
"Oh, this is so humiliating," Jay whined, looking down at the butterfly shirt he acquired.
"I'm afraid if we can't use our Spinjitzu, we'll be no match for the Grundle," Zane worried.
"We have to get back to the Bounty," Kai demanded.
M/n let out a small squeak, nudging the Nindroid with the muzzle strapped to his face. Zane gave an empathetic look before unclicking the strap and removed the device. The dragonette purred happily and gave a spit of fire to melt the cuffs on his wrists.
~
Jay grunted as he reached for the telephone, he wobbled as he clicked numbers into the contraptions, begging, "Collect call, please." He put his ear to the phone and hissed to Kai and Cole who were holding him up to the telephone, "Hold me steady." Zane stood on lookout for passing adults or possibly the Grundle. M/n, on the other hand, was standing and staring at the others through the glass with his tail in his arms.
The phone continued to emit a ringing sound until—click "Destiny's Bounty," Lloyd's voice played through the phone.
"Lloyd, it's Jay! Let me talk to Sensei!" Jay exclaimed urgently.
"Jay? Where are you? Why haven't you returned?" the boy inquired, "Sensei's out looking for you."
"Apparently, you need parental permission to take the bus and we can't seem to get out of the city!" the Lightning Ninja squeaked.
"What about M/n?" Lloyd suggested.
"Ugh it's complicated," Jay groaned, "Just meet us at Buddy's Pizza in ten minutes. And bring our weapons."
"Weapons?" the boy parroted before a faint crash rung through the phone and Jay hung up.
~
The ninja sat at a booth, atmosphere filled with video game noises, kids giggling, and people chattering. Everytime the door opened they turned to see if it was Lloyd. The group talked amongst themselves as they waited for the blonde boy, "Really? Of all places we could meet, you pick this place?" Cole exasperated.
"What? I like their pizza," Jay shrugged.
Lloyd unknowingly walked past them and Kai whipped around to hiss at him, "Psst, Lloyd."
The blonde boy turns to the group of children with a confused look, not a spark of recognition in his eyes, "Beat it, brat, I'm on a mission," he retorted.
"It's me, Kai," the mini hothead growled back.
Lloyd took a second look at the younger kids claiming to be his comrades. When he recognized the hair and faces to truly be his friends he gasped and dropped the weapons in surprise with a loud crash. "What happened? You're small!" he yelled, causing everyone to stop and stare.
"Keep it down. We're trying to lay low," Kai whispered in return, "Your father's Mega Weapon not only to turn us into kids, but unleashed a creature whose sole purpose is to hunt down ninja."
"Typical Garmadon," Cole scoffed.
"And now, every time we try to tell someone they won't believe us, 'cause we're kids," Jay whined as Lloyd retrieved the weapons from the ground. The blonde boy chuckled, escalating into loud laughter.
"What's so funny?" Kai demanded, leaning toward Lloyd.
"Well, I guess you now know what it feels like to be treated differently because of your age," he commented and placed the weapons on the table in front of the boys, "speaking of you guys, where's M/n?"
"Under the table," Zane stated, causing Lloyd to raise a brow and look under the table to find a sleeping M/n curled up underneath.
Cole redirected the conversation, "Look, this is serious. If we don't turn big so that we can use our Spinjitzu, we don't stand a chance against the Grundle."
"Well, what about me? I know Spinjitzu," the Green Ninja suggested.
"Yeah, but you don't know the Grundle. We all need to be at full strength. What we need to do first is to find someone who might know more about how to defeat one of those things," Kai stressed but Lloyd was noticing something else, a kid reading a Starfarer comic.
"Lloyd, focus," Cole chastised.
"I am. I think I know just the guy," Lloyd replied, leading the group out of the pizza diner.
~
Sleepy M/n had a hold of Zane's equally small hand to guide his groggy steps as they followed Lloyd through the streets of Ninjago City. The group followed the boy down stairs into a book store, Doomsday Comix. The boys look around confused, "You brought us to a comic book store?" Cole wondered.
"Trust me. If there's anyone who knows how to defeat a monster that shouldn't exist, I know just the person to talk to," Lloyd announced.
Kai grabbed the blonde's shoulder quite aggressively, "We're not coming to pick out your stupid comic, Lloyd! This is serious business."
M/n detached himself from the Nindroid and got between the hothead and Lloyd, giving the latter a hug and looked back at the former with distain. Even as a dragonette smaller than Lloyd, he still tried to defend him. Kai gave a small scoff and continued to follow the oldest boy.
They walked up to the front counter where a man with a brown slick back ponytail stood behind the counter, "Fellas, meet Rufus McCallister, AKA Mother Doomsday," Lloyd introduced.
"Well, if it isn't Lloyd 'Hemorrhoid' Garmadon," Rufus greeted with a smirk, "Sorry if you came looking for the lates 'Starfarer,' I'm all sold out."
"Wh—Sold out?!" he exclaimed, causing other customers to stop and stare before he recomposed himself, "Oh, actually, Mother Doomsday, we need help."
"Well, color me intrigued." (his voice is so hot btw)
"We have a problem. There's a Grundle on the loose and we need to know how to deal with it," Lloyd explained.
"Oh, a theoretical question," the storeowner presumed.
"Yeah, theoretical. Can you help?" the blonde agreed quickly, not wanting to draw suspicion.
Mother Doomsday lowered the high sitting chair he was on and hopped off to converse more with the group of boys, "Dromaeosaurid Theropod Grundalicus. Phew! Although extinct, there has been a plethora of film, television and comics exploring the mythology around the primordial predator." He walked over to a nearby bookshelf and picked up aa comic with the cover depicting the Grundle, "Supposedly, they always get their prey."
"Sounds like he knows his stuff," Kai commented.
"Can it be stopped?" Lloyd inquired.
"First thing you need to know is its thick shell-like hide is invincible to swords, scythes, nunchucks, bows, and throwing stars. So your cheap imitations will do nothing to slow him down." Rufus noted, motioning to their in-fact real weapons.
"Swell," Cole groaned
"Second of all, it's nocturnal and will only hunt at night," Mother Doomsday stated.
"Oh, good. It's still daylight, so we can relax for a bit," Jay sighed. The comic store owner gave him a strange look before he added, "Uh, I meant theoretically."
"The only way to defeat it is with light," he put the Grundle comic down, "Like a vampire, with enough of it, it could potentially destroy him." He walked up to a display of strange weapons, "If I had my weapons of choice, may I recommend the Illuma-Sword?" Rufus opened the case to reveal swords that has light as the sharp metal of the sword. "These are authentic replicas that would come in handy were you to live long enough to actually face a Grundal. And if swords are your thing," he pointed to another display case which housed a red, white, blue, and black gi and M/n's outfit from the final battle with the Great Devourer, "maybe I can interest you in an authentic ninja gi signed by the very ninja that saved the city."
"Uh, we'll just take the light swords," Kai approached the open display before Rufus stopped him, saying, "Not so fast. This 'Starfarer' combo pack can only be won in the Fritz Donnegan Trivia Battle Royale." He challenged Lloyd, "You have what it takes to be the best?"
"You can do this, Lloyd," Jay encouraged.
The blonde boy gave a smile and demanded, "Sign me up."
The competition commenced with many of the kids who entered being quickly eliminated. The only two left were Lloyd and another fan dressed in 'Starfarer' merchandise. "It's down to the final two. This question is for Lloyd," Mother Doomsday announced. The crowd, especially the boys, cheered Lloyd's name loudly.
"What is Fritz Donnegan's famous catchphrase," Rufus inquired dramatically.
"'Fear? Fear is not a word from where I come from.'" Lloyd answered, striking a pose.
"Correct! We're all tied up!" the storeowner cheered, the crowd's yells growing louder. Zane glanced out the door nervously, "It's getting dark. The Grundal will be on the prowl soon." M/n attached himself to the Nindroid to comfort him.
"We should've just taken the Illumi-Swords," Kai grumbled before turning to Jay to eye him for loudly eat his cotton candy, "Is this really the best time to be eating cotton candy?"
Jay retorted, "It makes me feel young. Deal with it."
"Final question. The first person to answer this will win," McCallister announced, "In the latest issue of 'Starfarer,' how did Fritz Donnegan escape the Imperial Sludge?"
Lloyd panicked, "But I haven't read the latest issue!"
"By reversing the polarity of the ship's gravity transducer," the other competitor answered.
"We have a winner!" Mother Doomsday shouted.
The boys looked around disappointed but felt a pit open in their stomachs when the lights flickered off with a distant rumble. The boys huddled together, feeling hopeless. M/n's tail wrapped around his friends, his protective nature always showing through.
"Who turned out the lights?" Rufus wondered, searching for the light switch on the wall.
The sign above the front of the store crackled with electricity before going dark and falling off the building. "It's here," Kai's shaking, quiet voice called through the dark room.
"What's here?" the storeowner inquired cautiously.
Jay chuckled nervously, "You know that theoretical discussion we had earlier?"
Thuds rang out from the glass roof, everyone's head snapped up to see the deep red claws of the Grundle walking across, leave sharp shatters in the glass and dripping toxic green saliva.
"Not the... Grundle!" Rufus exclaimed.
Zane exclaimed, "We've got to get out of here!" The kids began screaming and yelling, the mini ninja ran towards the door only to find it blocked by the debris. Zane tried to open the door but to no avail, "The door is jammed, we can't get out."
"Look! It's coming!" Jay pointed at the giant lizard walking past the other citizens toward them.
The glass panels shattered under its weight and the supporting metal gave way, letting the Grundle drop into the store behind the boys. M/n, who was in the back of the pack, turned around and put his effort into turning into a dragon. The dragonette was only able to manage to turn into the size of a large horse. The dinosaur-esque creature squared up with M/n, slicking its tail and breaking the display of the ninja outfits.
"Quick! This way!" Jay shouted, running from behind M/n towards the outfits and Illumi-Swords. They changed into their proper outfits and clad themselves with the glowing weapons. "Hey, McNasty, I thought ninja were on your menu!" Cole jeered.
The Grundle turned to the mini ninja who wave the light swords in its face, causing it to back away and squeal uncomfortably. "It's working!" Jay cheered. They back it towards the door, waving the glowsticks. Jay leapt towards the monster and tried to strike it on the face but it swatted him away. Kai swiped next successfully hitting hitting it on the side of the snout. Cole slashed the hind leg and Zane struck the top of the head. When the boys regrouped all but Cole's sword had broken.
"Stupid toy!" Kai growled.
"We got a problem, guys," Jay worried.
The reptile slashed the boys into the register counter brutally before M/n leapt onto its back from behind. The dragonette did very little to damage it but gave the boys a distraction to regain themselves. Lloyd dramatically rose on the tall chair behind the counter, "Not to worry, I'll take care of this." He manifested his energy, producing bright light that irritated the Grundle who threw M/n from his back, smashing the desk to wooden splinters and knocked Lloyd onto the dragon. It approached the ninja as if approaching prey before M/n stood between them emitting a pathetic growl.
"This is the end, isn't it?" Cole whined, covering his eyes.
The door opened with a slam to reveal Nya with Master Wu following suit. "Everyone out!" she demanded, the citizens rushing out the door.
"Use this!" Wu commanded, throwing a bottle of purple substance into Jay's grasp.
"What is it?" Jay asked.
"It'll turn forward the hands of time, turning you old and reducing the Grundal back to dust and bones," Wu described and warned, "But be careful, there's no turning back."
The reptile grew impatient with the human babbling and aggressively roared at M/n who only returned a growl and swipe of his claws. "Grundal, prepare to be extinct!" Jay exclaimed, ready to use the tea.
Cole stopped him, "What will happen to Lloyd? He'll grow old, too."
"Just do it," Lloyd assured.
"You'll miss out on the rest of your childhood, dude," Jay countered.
"We can't do that to you. It's not fair!" Kai affirmed.
The Grundle struck M/n, making yelp and back up against the cornered ninja protectively. The dragon's hide bumped Jay's hand which dropped the mixture into Lloyd's lap. "'Fair? Fair isn't a word from where I come from.'" he quoted before hurling it toward the creature.
"He used it!" Wu gasped.
Purple mist began swirling the destroyed store and the Grundle could be seen returning to bones, blood and flesh evaporating, while it shrieked and the dragon growing to take up the entire store.
"And it's working!" Nya exclaimed.
The ninja arise, confused, each regaining their balance. "What happened? We're not kids anymore," Cole observed from their well-fitting suits. M/n lifted his head to notice he was sticking out of the broken glass roof.
"There's a dragon in my store," Rufus marveled before noticing, "They are the real ninja."
"What about Lloyd?" Wu worried.
M/n nudged the Green Ninja who stood up to reveal that he was now a similar age and height to the ninja. "I'm... older," he observed with his voice noticeably deeper.
"The time for the Green Ninja to face his destiny has grown nearer," Wu warned.
"I'm ready," Lloyd smiled.
M/n reverted into his human form with a sigh. He looked at the older blonde with watery eyes before embracing him and whispering, "I'm sorry." He would still protect him no matter what.
"It's okay, M/n," Lloyd insisted and joked, "I still wish I got the latest 'Starfarer' though"
The dragon approached the storeowner, "You have one on hold under 'M/n', right?"
Rufus laughed, "sure do!" and quickly retrieved it from the back. He handed it off to M/n who gifted it to Lloyd. "Don't worry, I'm looking out for you," the dragon grinned.

Meetings we haven't expected-Part1
Garmadon dies in Crystallized after a battle with Overlord. After the merge, his good side has been reincarnated and he finds Lloyd in Monastery with Arin and Sora.
Request from ao3
Lloyd sighed. It was a tough day, he had finally finished training and could rest.
He looked out the window and thought. He thought about those who were lost in the merge and needed to be found, and about those he would never find again... His father.
It happened for the second time, this time not as close, but it still hurt.
He remembered it as if it were yesterday.
☆☆☆☆☆
"By burying this plant, Cristopher, may it forever grow in this garden as a memory of my... my father." He managed to say through tears.
"It will be okay, Lloyd," Kai comforted him.
Everyone comforted him, but they couldn't empathize with him. They felt sorry, but it was as if they felt more sorry for him than for Garmadon.
And it all started with the battle against Overlord...
~~~~~~~
"Father!"Lloyd shouted after the Overlord hit Garmadon.
"I can't..."Garmadon caughted.
"It's okay," Lloyd comforted him, "Don't try to talk."
Garmadon returned to his normal form. "I'm sorry, Lloyd."
"Hold on," Lloyd worriedly spoke, "You'll be okay. I'll get you."
"Save... Save yourself. It's too late for me..." Garmadon coughed his last breath.
"No!!" Lloyd desperately shouted.
"Grieve not," Overlord laughed, "You will soon be joining him."
~~~~~~
Lloyd couldn't help but smile, wishing his father would come back to life as he did then.
~~~~~~
"Let's get out of here before the place explodes," Garmadon suddenly rose from the dead.
"You.." Lloyd's jaw almost dropped,
"What?" Garmadon confusedly asked,
"You're not dying?" Lloyd was astonished.
"Of course not."Garmadon said as if it was a normal thing.
"You were faking?!" Lloyd couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"I was helping you achieve your Oni Form!" Garmadon proudly said.
Lloyd was annoyed, "I didn't need Oni Form! It didn't even work!"
"It would have, if you hadn't been scared by your own reflection," Garmadon angrily told Lloyd.
~~~~~~
"Lloyd," Misako came to Lloyd and hugged him.
"Mom," Lloyd tried to say something without crying.
"Everything is as it should be," she tried to comfort him while gently wiping tears from his face.
She also felt sorry, although probably not as much as usual. They hadn't talked since he comed back.
Surely for her, he never even lived again. She probably looked sick now just because it hurt to see him in that state.
Was there no one who completely understood him?
Then he remembered Master Wu!
He believed in his brother, always in everything.
~~~~~~
"It's true. She helped," Garmadon said about Harumi, "Not as much as I did, perhaps, but why argue over details."
"I'm so proud of you, brother!" Wu proudly smiled.
~~~~~~
He tried to go to Master Wu, but he had locked himself in his room to study ancient scrolls.
After Lloyd, he was the hardest for him. Lloyd barely held back from screaming in anger, just when they started to have a good relationship again...
Then he died after the battle with the Overlord, just after Lloyd thought everything was over..
☆☆☆☆☆☆
"Enough!" Lloyd scolded himself, "It makes no sense to think about it."
He said to himself, unaware of what was happening.
No more Cristopher, memories of Garmadon, Garmadon is no more...
Now it's best to go prepare training for Arina and Sora.
*******
"Sorry," Sensei Garmadon apologized as he passed through... A crossroad?
Was that what this place was called?
At least that's what everyone called it now. He didn't know how much time had passed since he woke up surprised as a human.
He just knew he wanted to find Lloyd as soon as possible. He hoped he would be happy to see him...
That he could tell him everything. And apologize for all the bad things he had done...
"Excuse me?" He asked a passerby, "Do you know where they are, especially the green ninja, I am his... This old acquaintance."
"This way," the man coldly said and led him to another tent.
Everyone seemed busy here! That's why he left with Lloyd and Misako outside the city, long ago, to find peace.
"Lloyd?" His heart was beating wildly as he entered the tent, but he didn't find what he was looking for.
"What?" Sensei Garmadon gasped as he looked at pictures of ninjas.
Children leaving flowers.
"Did they... leave?"Sensei Garmadon asked disbelievingly.
"Unfortunately," a lady answered him, "But some new ninjas have arrived."
"New ninjas?" Sensei Garmadon exclaimed in astonishment.
"Yes," the lady smiled, "I heard they are now in the monastery..."
"Monastery of Spinjitzu?!" Garmadon suddenly exclaimed. "Where?!"
"Up there." The lady pointed, obviously frightened by his sudden reaction.
He wanted to apologize but didn't have time. Sensei Garmadon ran as fast as he could, without attracting too much attention, towards the monastery.
When he finally saw it, his heart fluttered once again.
He had a feeling he would find Lloyd there, his only son and his only pride.

I just finished Dragons rising Season 2 so here are my thoughts (long maybe)
i really liked season 2 i was REALLY invested and so much to cover but i think i forgot some stuff but im gonna try my best so bear with me
The Blood moon ritual
I liked how we got a master of wind but what i remember morro doesnt have kids am i forgeting things wrong also Shatterspinn(i might have spelled it wrong) looks cool but its dangerous also master of smoke wasnt there already a master of smoke or was that the master of ash i dont remember
Also how many dragons things are there, there’s: elemental dragons, dragons of the first realm, fusion dragon, dragon forms, source dragons and now rising dragons which is the only thing that can stop shatterspin also dragons can do spinjitzu whats next they can do airjutzu(joke)
Also Bonzle being a spell was a shock to me but also i loved how she explained everything (also i saw Cole and geo holding hands you cant hide that from me) i also love that’s Zane’s disguise looks like his detective clothes from s12 (before the writers said he cant be happy) and i love the sorceress (i forgot her name) she gives me entrapta and madam razz vibes from She-ra (im skipping som stuff)
I feel bad for Lloyd not being able to control his visions but at least one of the dragons helped him and he learned he can’t control them but is more calm with them happening so yay
Im happy Kai learned Rising dragons even by accident but still
i feel bad for bonzle being used for just a spell like shes more then that MUCH MORE also can we talk about how sad wyldefire was when she saw the dragons turn to stone like shes looks so sad 😭 And during the ritual when Kai got pushed in as a sacrifice Nya and Lloyd then doing rising dragons was amazing and im really happy bonzle is ok and helping Kai (and nox escaping into red heads body (i think he names Joanna or was it Jordana?)
The Tournament of sources
not part of the tournament but i was SQUEALING when i saw Zane do rising dragons like i was clapping and everything (you can tell who my favorite is)
I like that’s they mentioned the s4 tournament it was kind of cool also I liked that they brought some of the og masters back (but not gonna lie not a fan of Toxicns Mohawk)
Roby was a character that i had a love-hate kind of thing with Like one minute i like him the next i hate him but i loved Wyldefire having a crush on him and i ship it (and let me say now I could care less for Kailor) but i had suspicions of Roby glad he wasnt the enemy or had anything to do with it
Also why couldn’t zane just win one round of the tournament like he lost immediately its not fair and i know he lost but just give him a chance PLEASE NINJAGO WRITERS GIVE HIM SOMETHING GOOD NEXT SEASON
Frak(i hoped i spelled his name right) was an amazing character he just did was his master told him to do and he was really nice and im happy he was able to see Arin again but i hate how ras treated him all because Frak got advice from Cole and (this is just a headcannon but i think anyone who gives Frak advice or helps him with training or powers he calls master again headcannon) and ras had not right hurting Frak like that
Finding out that Robys uncle was behind it all wasnt a surprise really but still a twisted and makes sense they gave us many suspects so it was some what of a surprise
That battle at that monastery was amazing and i loved when Kai came back he was pissed 😡 i mean mess with his sister your gonna pay and im happy everyone got there powers back but the sad part is Arin is joining ras and the fact that Master Wu caused the merge will be a surprise but my question is why?
(btw i didnt say everything on my mind but this is long enough)
Overall
Id give this season an 8/10 the animation and story was amazing but i feel like some parts of the lore was ignored in a way but in the end it was the best now somethings i want in season 3 of DR sorry if i forgot some stuff but this was long enough so yeah sorry
Zane to be happy
Pixal to return
Garmadon to return
Lloyd to be happy
Arin to see ras isnt the right choice to join
Jay to remember everything
Morro and if he returns then to be on the ninjago side

Overwhelmed(Vinny x Garmadon)Part 61
(I suggest you check out parts 1-60if you haven’t already, also my ao3 and wattpad for the chapters more organised)
Vinny turned his attention to the door as Pixal walked out, Zane quickly noticed her, “Is something wrong?” The ice ninja asked, as everyone came around,
“Sadly yes…the key from yesterday is missing, I’ve checked the cameras and the man you all met as well as a masked accomplice were on it” The female nindroid spoke, Vinnys’ eyes widened hearing that, they were bound to find our eventually, but it still scared him.
He did feel some relief when Pixal said to was a masked accomplice, that meant Enjis’ illusion worked. “How’d they get in? The scanner only has a few people registered” Nya spoke as worry creeped on her face.
“I am unsure…perhaps a mask or some sort” Pixal replied.
“Well this is great…we have to deal with that guy and someone else” Kai groaned before receiving a comforting pat on the back from Cole. The cameraman felt terrible, but he constantly reminded himself this was to protect them.
“Did the cameras show anything else?” Wu questioned, the others looked at Pixal, curiously.
“Yes, the man seemed to have vanished after he used a mirror of some sort” She spoke, causing everyone except Vinny to turn their heads in confusion.
“A mirror? Most likely enchanted then” Garmadon spoke, hearing this made Vinny take a sharp breathe. He knew the others were smart, but he didn’t want them to guess it so accurately.
“That would make sense” Pixal replied.
“What time was it when it happened?” Vinny questioned, he needed to ask questions, would be less suspicious that way.
“Around 2:30” The female nindroid replied.
“I got up for water around that time…didn’t see anyone” Lloyd spoke, catching the attention of the others.
“Perhaps they hid” Zane spoke, receiving nods from the others.
“This sucks…” Jay groaned in annoyance.
“Agreed…as much as I enjoy battles, this is too much, that chest and key seem pretty dangerous” Cole added.
“Pixal, is there any chance you could track the energy signal of the chest again?” Wu asked.
“I have already started that, though the odds of finding it again are low” The female nindroid reply.
“I say we train…nest time we see that guy we can defend ourselves better” Kai spoke as he formed a fireball in his hand. Wu nodded and pointed the ninja to the training course, they all went back to training except Lloyd, he sat next to Vinny.
The cameraman let out a shaky breathe he didn’t even know he was holding, when he saw the others leave. Though anxiety returned when Lloyd sat next to him.
“This is a bit crazy, eh?” Lloyd spoke as he leaned back, Vinny just nodded. “Man…this guy’s annoying me…” he added.
“Agreed…causing problems for everyone…” The cameraman replied.
“I’ll go train a little then come back, alright?” Lloyd asked, receiving a nod from Vinny.
The cameraman was left alone again, he reluctantly took the wrapped mirror shard out of his pocket and observed it again. He made sure Wu and Garmadon weren’t looking, they seemed more focused on criticising the ninjas fighting ability and seeing what they could work on.
He continued to stare at the shard, turning it to stare at its sides, it was definitely broken off something due to its sharp and jagged edges. Though it did have a nice colour tone to it, a extremely light orange and red with a sort of metallic finish.
He took a shaky breathe as it began to warp again, the orange and red becoming darker as it spun around instead turning to a blue and purplish colour. He was curious as to what would happen, when it happened last time he dropped it on the ground and it went back to normal.
The warping continued before it zapped Vinny slightly causing him to drop it in the ground…but when he did…it didn’t stop like last time, it kept going causing Vinny to throw the cloth on it to try and hide it.
To the cameramans’ surprise…the ground beneath everyone turned the same purple and blue colour…“What the fuck!?” Kai shouted as he stared at the ground, everyone was confused and slightly terrified, Vinny was freaking out. If the others found out this was his fault he was fucked.
Without warning…they fell through…they all shouted as they fell from the sky…Garmadon, Wu, Zane and Pixal weren’t there…but they did fall through…that was the least of his worries as they free fell from the sky, Nya managed to hold onto a tree branch before she plummeted towards the ground.
She caught Jay’s hand and held him up, while Cole formed a rock ledge beneath him and Kai…Lloyd on the other hand got it easy and just landed in a bunch of vines.
Vinny however was not so lucky…he wasn’t close to the others so he just fell…and fell and fell…hitting against tree branches as he groaned and winced in pain, before he got stuck in some vines.
“Holy fuck! Vinny are you alright!?” Cole called out from above as he stared down from the rock ledge at where Vinny fell. The others were just as worried as Nya pulled Jay onto the tree and they slowly climbed down all together.
“Yea…” was all Vinny spoke as he just laid in the vines…his left arm hurt…Kai immediately ran over to Vinny as they made it to the ground. He and Lloyd began tearing the vines that trapped him away.
“What the hell happened!?” A very confused and pissed off Jay spoke as he clutched his shoulder which was just hit very hard.
“You okay?” Cole asked the cameraman, he just nodded as he winced and clutched his arm.
Nya gently grabbed Vinnys’ arm and lifted up the jacket sleeve. All their clothes had cuts in them. “If you broke your arm, then so help me” The water ninja sighed, as she squeezed Vinnys’ arm causing him to wince.
“Take off your jacket…we don’t know if it’s broken, but we can make a temporary sling to somewhat help it” Lloyd spoke, Vinny nodded and took off his jacket. Lloyd carefully wrapped it around the cameramans’ neck and kept his arm in there.
“Now we have that done…” Nya spoke, “Where the fuck are we?” She questioned as she and the others looked around, trees and mountains stood tall around them as birds flew by.
Vinny couldn’t careless where they were…he wanted to know if Garmadon was safe…

Summary: Nothing special, just Jay and Kai telling Lloyd that they see him as their son. (Plasma shipping included)
Warnings: none
Writer's note: this is something small that i wrote while i was in school. Please, forgive my mistakes.
............................................................................
After all those years of pretending to be "just friends", Kai and Jay finally accepted and confessed their real feelings for each other. This cute couple got married a few months ago. Thankfully, they had their honeymoon little trip in peace: no attacks, no battles, no bad guys. Just a married couple having fun in their honeymoon and loving each other.
After returning to the monastery, Jay decided to rent Cliff's mansion. With the money he already had from his biological father and with the money he earned from renting the mansion, he built another house. Of course he and Kai had their own room in the monastery but they wanted another place just for the two of them. They wanted a house where they would be completely alone so that they could just relax, get away from the rest of the world and do their couple stuff in peace. This small and comfortable house became their secret little place to spend time alone without interruptions.
The house had an amazing view and Lloyd (the only one who knew it's location), really liked visiting Kai and Jay just to admire the lake and the forest. Last night, he came to visit them once again. Lloyd's mind was full of so many things and his thoughts were troubled. He needed someone to talk to and who's better than his older brothers? When he arrived with tears in his eyes, Kai and Jay immediately took him in their arms. They gave him comfort (just like they used to do when younger Lloyd was scared of lightning), they made dinner for him and they allowed him to sleep in their guest room. It was mostly Lloyd's room anyway, because the green ninja was the only visitor since no one else knew the house's location.
Lloyd woke up too early the next day. It was still dark outside but he couldn't sleep anymore so he went in the balcony to let the majestic view give peace in his soul. Jay is usually a heavy sleeper and he doesn't wake up until late in the morning. This time though he woke up a few minutes after Lloyd. He somehow felt that the kid was awake already. He found the blond guy in the balcony, he went closer to him and he took a lock of hair behind Lloyd's ear as he spoke:
"What's troubling your thoughts again, dear?"
Jay always called Lloyd "dear" since he was a child. He still saw him as a little kid although he wasn't a baby anymore.
"Nothing" Lloyd lied.
"Okay, i won't push you but I'm here if you want to tell me something more than what you said yesterday. And so is Kai. We are here for you dear"
Lloyd couldn't resist, he just fell right on Jay's arms. Jay didn't hesitate at all to hug him back (he is a little shorter than Lloyd so he had to stretch a little to be able to hug him comfortably)
"Come here, I've got you"
"Thanks"
The kid was holding back tears at this point. He would have let himself cry if Kai hadn't join them, taking both of them in his own arms.
"What are my boys doing here, in the cold?"
"Lloyd is a little... Off again" Jay answered.
"Don't worry about it, it's nothing important. I must be a little affected from our talk yesterday, that's all"
Lloyd felt the need to lie in order to prevent his friends from worrying about him too much. He just wanted to protect them but the couple knew him too well to fall for it. They kinda raised him after all.
"Everything's important to us when it comes to you"
Kai kissed Lloyd's forehead and the blond guy laughed while he was trying to hide his embarrassment.
"Ew, Kai! Kiss your husband, not me!"
"I can kiss you both" he said and he surprised Jay with a smooch on the lips.
"Kai!" Jay laughs too.
"Ew! That's gross!" said the youngest.
"Why? Can't i show love to my family? It's my son and my husband that I'm holding in my arms right now, after all"
"Wait- You said... S-son?" Lloyd had to admit that he was shocked.
"Yes dear. You are like our son now. We might not be your biological parents but it doesn't matter. We love you and we care about you. So, yeah, you are adopted now, that's it"
"Jay is right. You are our son, we are your dads. That's how it is. Accept it"
The youngest boy couldn't be happier as he hugged both of his dads as tight as he could.
"By the way..." Kai said.
"I made hot chocolate for both of you so... You better drink it before it gets cold"

A Little Too Sweet
First fic is ready! And I'm on time if you just forget yesterday happened /lh
This one is for @crying-over-cartoons aka Grey, I hope you enjoy!
Prompts: Pomatter Pie from Waitress; release, dribble, cluster, single, view, swear, file, crack, despise, decoration; 37
AO3 Link
Fic under the cut!
Cole despised kitchen duty. He learned after years of trying to cook dinner—and failing miserably enough times—that he was not a chef. Somehow, though, he’d ended up here. He couldn’t exactly blame Master Wu for asking him to help out. Thirty-seven pies was a lot of pies. Zane couldn’t do it alone, and Kai, Jay, Nya, and Lloyd were busy setting up decorations and furniture.
If Cole had to be paired with anyone for this job, he was glad it was Zane. First, he actually knew how to bake, something Cole wasn’t sure their other teammates could say. Second, he knew Zane wouldn’t judge him if he screwed up.
They stood in the middle of the kitchen. Cole leaned over the counter, holding a manila folder in his hand. Zane stood beside him, adjusting the tie on the back of his pink apron.
“‘Mrs. Pomatter’s Famous Fair Pie,’” Cole read the title, written in curly black sharpie. It reminded him of the case files the police kept on known criminals in Ninjago City. “Wonder what makes it so famous?”
“It’s won the Ninjago City Fair’s pie contest four years in a row. It’s surprising Master Wu was able to get her to give the recipe to us.”
“It is for a good cause. Raising funds for the new children’s hospital and all…” Cole flipped it open and started reading the recipe. “Crust: first, put dry ingredients in a bowl. One-and-a-fourth cups of flour… two tablespoons of sugar…”
“Tablespoons?” Zane tilted his head. “That seems like a lot.”
Cole shrugged. “Hey, if it’s won the City Fair four years in a row, she's gotta know what she's doing.”
The ingredients were clustered together in front of them, along with bowls and utensils. Zane pulled out the sealed jar labeled “sugar” and a ring of metal measuring spoons. He measured out the tablespoons and Cole noticed the puzzled expression on his face.
“What’s up?”
“It’s just… While I trust you would not lie to me, this much sugar with the amount of flour could mean the crust will come out crunchy. Would you check the recipe one more time?”
“Crunchy?” That made sense, he supposed, like when you make tea and the sugar doesn't fully dissolve. He checked the recipe over again and grimaced. “Ah yeah, it’s teaspoons. My bad.”
“Don’t trouble yourself too much,” as Zane spoke, he poured the excess sugar back into its container. “It’s a common mistake. The two words are remarkably similar.”
And Cole wouldn’t have troubled himself, if it weren’t for the fact that those mistakes continued happening. He would read the recipe—misread it, to be precise—Zane would quickly catch on, ask him to double check, and Cole would realize he’d messed up. The measurements were wrong, or the ingredients, or he’d skipped a step. Once they had it down, though, it went smoother. Zane knew the ingredients, the portions, the steps. Cole just helped by passing over what was needed.
Then it came time to roll the crust out. The last time Cole rolled something out was when he tried making bread rolls that ended up more akin to rocks, so he was more than a little apprehensive. Zane must’ve sensed something as he was making the filling over on the stove, because he came over and noticed Cole standing over the mound of dough, holding a rolling pin, and definitely wearing a dumbfounded look on his face.
“Would you like some help?”
“Uh,” and if he wasn’t before, Cole was sure he was now. “Just a demo, if you don’t mind. Instructions aren’t being very helpful.”
“Of course!” Zane chirped. Cole handed him the pin and Zane set to work. He pinched a generous amount from the flour bag, sprinkling it on top of the counter, then rubbing it on his hands and the pin. “This is to ensure the dough does not stick. Here, would you assist me?” Zane held the rolling pin out to Cole again. He took the free end. Zane tugged him forward, standing behind him. He reached around Cole, placing his hands on the outside of Cole’s on both sides of the pin. “Now we roll.”
Cole tried to ignore the warmth spreading across his face as they guided the pin across the table, flattening the mound into a neat oval. “Wonderful!” Zane’s ever-chipper voice exclaimed before he took his hands away. Cole relaxed, releasing tension he hadn’t realized he was holding. Zane went back to making the filing, leaving Cole to ignore the fact that his heart rate had picked up somewhere along the way.
By the time the crust was done, so was the filling. Zane put the first pie together while Cole rolled out the next batch. Once he finished, Zane started assembling the next pie. Cole let out a breath. Honestly, this was going better than he expected. Plus, Zane’s explanations were actually helping! They only had thirty-five more pies after they finished these two. Speaking of which….
He flicked the switch of the light and viewed the pie through the oven window, only to be faced with the horrifying sight of dark purple filling bubbling up and spilling out. He swore and pulled the pie out, placing it on the top of the oven. Filling dribbled down the side of the ceramic tin, the crust had cracked and split apart, even the decorative slits they placed in the top were lost among the molten filling erupting from beneath its barely browned surface.
Zane examined the monstrous concoction. He tilted his head, his lips pulling into a slight diagonal line. He swiped a bit of the dripping filling from the side and tasted it. Cole glanced away. Shit. I’ve definitely ruined it.
“It appears we forgot to distribute the butter properly in our cover. Shame, the filling tastes rather good.”
Cole stared at him, dumbstruck. Then, he laughed.
“What’s so funny?” Zane asked.
“Nothing, it’s just… you’re so calm about this. We haven’t baked a single pie, our crust is bust, and you’re able to just sit here and… shrug it off.”
“Of course, it isn’t a disaster. We’re ninjas, we’ve handled worse.” As he said this, a smile tugged at the corner of Zane’s mouth. “Besides, this time it was my fault. I should have given the butter more time to chill.”
Cole kept laughing. Zane just smiled.
“Unfortunately,” he said, “I believe this means the pie I’m currently working on will suffer a similar fate. In addition, it will take us another two hours to make more crust. Not only that, but the sale begins in four.”
Master Wu hummed as he passed through the floor of his tea shop, examining each of the centerpieces on the tables, the lights, and the streamers floating down from the ceiling. He reached for one of the floating pie cutouts, pulled on it, then released it, satisfied with how it held. He turned to four of his students, all standing tall with bated breath.
“Well, guess we better start baking.” Cole grinned and held up the pin, cherishing the way Zane chuckled at him.
“I’m impressed. You all have done very well.” He smiled when he saw their tension release. “These decorations are wonderful! As is the lighting, but we are missing one thing.” He glanced around. “Where are Cole and Zane?”
“I think they’re still in the kitchen,” Kai offered. “I’ve been smelling pie all afternoon.”
“And none of it was burnt! Well, not after the first few hours, anyways,” added Jay.
“Still, we need that pie for the sale, the doors will be opening in—” Before Wu could check, Zane and Cole came rushing in, covered in flour and dough and arms laden with pie.
“Ta-da! Thirty-seven perfectly baked pies!”
“And right on time too!” Zane said, placing his neatly on the long table set up next to Steeper Wisdom’s register.
Wu walked over, taking in the enticing smell of berries and buttery crust. “Perfect! I believe we’re in for a rousing success tonight. Thank you all for your help.”
“Don’t thank me, thank Zane. These pies would’ve been a bust without his help.” Cole nudged him.
“I couldn’t have done it without you,” Zane told him.
“You’re sweet, Zane.” Cole smiled. “Maybe a little too sweet.”
“Doors are opening! To your stations, everyone!” Misako called, getting behind the counter. She glanced at the two, giggling a little. “Cole, you may want to clean up before we begin. I’ll take your apron, Zane.”
Cole rushed to the back, hoping there was a spare uniform back there he could use. As he hurried to get ready before the crowds poured in, he couldn’t help thinking about the smile he swore he saw on Zane’s face.

Part 7 | Lloyd Garmadon x fem!reader | Part 7
I was getting so tired…
Previous part, Master list, Next part
Tumblr media
Dr Julien was- nice. Strange. But nice. I suppose I couldn’t judge him too much as he had been trapped in this lighthouse place for almost two decades. However, I was surprised at the lack of wariness from the ninja who entered the place the man lived in with no hesitation. Zane, I could understand. I just had to trust that the ninja, Lloyd specifically, trusted Zane enough to trust that he trusted his father enough to know we were not in immediate danger of the man. That was a sentence I hoped never to repeat in my head again or out loud.
“-and what is your element, dearie?” The man asked from where he sat at the table. The table that had appeared out of nowhere that also had a little robot that poured us tea. I smiled sheepishly and shook my head.
“I don’t have an element.” I clarified and he ah’ed but Jay frowned immediately.
“Then how did do you do that thing?!” Jay asked and my eyes darted around the table to see everyone’s focus on me yet no one came to my defence. “Surely you need to have an elemental power to do that?” He added and I felt my words start to get stuck in my throat.
“What thing?” Dr Julien asked and I looked at Lloyd nervously who didn’t meet my eyes, I swallowed nervously.
“I- uhm… I glitch.” I said and his eyes widened in intrigue.
“Glitch?!” He exclaimed. “How so? Can you show us?!” The man asked and I felt so out of place, even when surrounded by those who also had abilities- mine just weren’t from the same origin.
“Oh, Uhm… I don’t think there’s such a thing as the elemental power of glitch so I don’t really control it…“ I answered. “It’s just glitching, it doesn’t really do anything big-“ I added but was cut off by Kai laughter.
“Nothing big?! She’s being modest. You should’ve seen her at the museum! She took down the biggest stone warrior by glitching him into the floor without even thinking about it!” Kai exclaimed and the air suddenly felt heavier.
“Not to mention that if she hears her actual name- glitches! It’s w-“ What I assume Cole was about to say was that it was weird but he was cut off by the table itself glitching and all of our cups falling through the table.
“Oh my goodness! Extraordinary!” Dr Julien said and I just stared wide eyed with my hands up and away from the table. “Is it a thought or does it just happens?” He asked and I forced myself to swallow down my growing agitation. It didn’t work very well.
“I just- glitch! Things, myself, other people- excuse me.” I told them and jumped up before rushing away and back down the stairs I had come from.
I didn’t leave but I stopped before the door and stood against the cold wall. Why did it feel all of a sudden hard to breathe? Why did it always feel like I was never meant to talk about this? Why couldn’t I talk about this stupid power without feeling like something is pressing against my lungs and stopping me from breathing? It was ridiculous. What form of denial was this? It’s pathetic, really. Making a whole table glitch because Zane’s father was innocently asking me about my power and then Cole and Kai jumping in I just- maybe I was wrong to come. If I couldn’t handle my own power how I could I handle helping Lloyd with fulfilling his prophecy? Maybe I was just useless. Maybe I shouldn’t be here…
“Peaches?” That was Lloyd’s voice and it sounded so soft, so worried and I didnt dare open my mouth to respond as I knew a sob would probably fall out my mouth or a noise just as pathetic. “Are you down here?” Lloyd asked and I faced away from him as he made his way down the stairs, his footsteps not making a noise. The old staircase was the only thing alerting me of his moments with its creaks under his weight. “What’s wrong?” He asked, and I felt a hand gently cradle my arm as he looked over my shoulder at me. I shook my head.
“I’m just- ugh.” I wiped a rogue tear as soon as it left my water line and closed my eyes to stop my eyes from watering any more.
“I didn’t think anything was bad or- did I miss something?” Lloyd asked and I shook my head.
“No, I’m just- I’m just being ridiculous.” I told him and turned to face him. His face held a disbelieving expression.
“If there’s things you don’t want to talk about just let me know and I’ll make sure no one else will bring it up.” Lloyd told me and I looked up at him.
“No it’s not that and it shouldn’t be like that. I shouldn’t be as weird as I am.” I told him and he, to my surprise, scoffed.
“Y/n.” He said and my eyes shot up to meet his.
“Lloyd.” I replied and he dead panned.
“So it was Cole-“ Lloyd said and I shook my head.
“It was no one!” I told him. “Except me.” I clarified and he didn’t seem to believe me.
“What was it that upset you then?” Lloyd asked and I looked away.
“I’m not upset.” I said and he sent me a stern look.
“Oh really? This, right now, is not you upset? What? You came downstairs just to take a breath?” Lloyd asked and I rolled my eyes.
“Don’t do that.” I told him and he crossed his arms. “And I’m not upset- I’m not!” I repeated as he rolled his eyes. “It’s- hard to explain.” I said and he sent me a look.
“Try me.” Lloyd said and his tone frustrated me to no end.
“Talking about my… glitches, feels wrong and it’s just something that happens. Why focus on it?” I said and he frowned, eyebrows creasing in confusion.
“You talk to me about them.” He said and I closed my eyes in frustration.
“Yes but that’s you. You say my name and I don’t glitch!” I told him and Lloyd nodded but his expression didn’t fall.
“Why does it feel wrong?” He asked and I shook my head, my brain scrambling for any explanation and coming up with none.
“I don’t know! I don’t know anything about this! It’s not an element, I don’t just control it.” I told him and Lloyd looked down before smiling, a small one but still a smile. “What?” I asked and he chuckled.
“You really don’t know.” He said and I looked at him blankly.
“And that’s funny?” I asked and he shook his head before taking my hands.
“Do you think I discovered my powers and just knew how to control them?” Lloyd asked and I faltered. “It took months before I could even create the smallest burst of energy, let alone make the smallest flame.” Lloyd told me and I stared up at him, almost confused.
“But I’m not an elemental.” I told him and he nodded.
“I know, but a power is a power, no matter its origin. You are the vessel of that power for a reason.” Lloyd told me and I frowned.
“I don’t want to be.” I told him and he smiled before kissing my forehead.
“And that’s your problem, sweetheart.” He told me. “You think it’s this separate thing- it’s part of you.” Lloyd said and I sighed.
“So what was all that up there about then?” I asked and Lloyd chuckled.
“I never said there weren’t different rules… it’s just the premise that’s the same.” He told me and I said him an unimpressed look to try and hide my amusement. “If it helps, I didn’t want my powers either.” Lloyd told me, bringing me into a hug that I accepted.
“Your team must think I’m such a drama queen.” I said, tears still falling down my face.
“They’ve all been much worse, believe me! One time, Kai-“ Lloyd started telling me with an amused grin only to be cut off by a sudden yell from none other than Dr Julien.
“Hide! Away from the windows! Now!”
Dr Julien’s voice echoed down the stairs and Lloyd hauled me underneath the stairs and against his chest as we kneeled on the floor. My heart pounded in my chest as I held onto Lloyd tightly. He had his head pointed out the underneath of the stairs and I watched as his eyes hardened as he focused. It took me a moment to realise he was trying to hear or possibly catch sight of whatever we were hiding from. I laid my head gently on his collarbone and he moved a hand up to gently hold my head where it was. It was a small gesture to acknowledge that he was also looking out for me. I closed my eyes and his thumb began to caress the back of my neck, lightly grazing the hair at the back of my neck.
God it was not getting easier to get used to these dangerous things happening at any and all times.
After a moment, Lloyd looked down at me and smiled. I sent him a confused look and he continued to hold my head with an adoring stare. I mouthed a ‘what?!’ to him and he only chuckled silently before dipping his head down and connecting his lips to mine. I let him steal a kiss before he pulled away and I looked up at him with wide eyes.
“We’re safe.” Lloyd told me and I frowned.
“But no one- how do you know?!” I asked, in whisper and he smiled.
“My hearing is… enhanced, per se.” Lloyd said and I deadpanned.
“Per se?” I questioned and he grinned.
“You’re so cute.” He told me and I frowned. I wasn’t really following or even understanding the moment we were apparently having under these stairs.
“I appreciate the compliment but what the hell is going on?!” I questioned and Lloyd smiled.
“Sorry, I just realised how much you actually trust me.” He told me and I raised a brow.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” I eyes him suspiciously and he chuckled again.
“It means that you continue to amaze me, Peaches.” Lloyd complimented again and I frowned.
“Once again- what the hell is going on?!” I asked and he only forced us to stand before taking my hand and leading me back up the stairs.
The others were slowly emerging from their hiding spots when we made it to the top of the stairs and I caught Wu readjusting his straw hat. I had begun to think it was glued to his head. Nya was helping Jay back to his feet and Kai was stretching, probably from being in an uncomfortable hiding spot. Cole was the last to emerge and I seriously wondered where a guy of his stature would hide? He wasn’t exactly getting into an empty cupboard. Dr Julien was still at the table with Misako holding a comforting hand on his shoulder as he regained his breath. Zane was next to the man too and helping his father to breathe properly.
“What was that thing?!” Jay questioned and I clung to Lloyd’s hand as he stood tall and confidently in front of me.
“Is that why you can’t leave, father?” Zane asked and I felt a pang of sympathy for the man and his nindroid son.
“Yes… but I understand that you need to.” Dr Julien said and my heart ached more for the man. I looked up at Lloyd with a sad look and he met my eyes with his own disheartened one before his face turned serious again. I imagine he was thinking about his own father-son relationship than the old man’s inability to escape this little island. I rubbed his arm comfortingly but Nya only smirked.
“You think you could help us out?” She asked and the man grinned.
“Of course! What do you need?” Dr Julien asked.
“How good at you at repairing thrusters on a ship?” Nya asked and gestured out the window. Dr Julien looked out the window and gasped.
“That ship has thrusters on?!” He asked and a shared amusement was felt in the room at the man’s amazement.
“She’s not the best she’s ever looked but I reckon you could help her out… what do you say, Doc?” Kai asked and Dr Julien grinned widely.
“I say… what are we waiting for?!” The man exclaimed before practically racing towards the stairs. I sent Lloyd an exasperated look.
We shared a brief moment of joint bliss before it was ruined by Kai slapping his hand on Lloyd’s shoulder and leaning over Lloyd’s shoulder and looking between us.
“You guys were gone for a long time… did you have some fun?” He asked and I cringed and Lloyd frowned.
“You thought that was a long time?” Lloyd asked and Kai’s eyes widened. “I feel bad for Pearl.” Lloyd told me and I rolled my eyes. Whilst Lloyd was enjoying his smug moment, I decided to tug on his hand to signal him to follow the old man and to hopefully not have our sex life put on blast any more. Lloyd chuckled before following me out.
“She’s never had any complaints before!” I heard Kai yell and I shook my head at the statement.
“Just let it go, bro. You don’t look good either way here.” Cole told Kai who could be heard sighing.
🪺. *. ⋆
The three days it took to fix the ship again felt like an eternity. Between sleeping on the floor of the lighthouse because sleeping on the Bounty was too risky to becoming a manual labourer to having to continually tie and adjust Nya’s clothes because I had none of my own. I was exhausted. I wasn’t a ninja. I didn’t have any training. I was a student who had to steal in order to be able to afford to eat. I didn’t have time to workout or worry about my health enough to maintain it. So yes, my blue friend with super strength did need to help me with things. And no I was not as strong as Nya despite also being a girl because Nya was a ninja with a lot more muscle than me. I was also annoyed because I felt like the but of the joke for the ninja as I didn’t get their inside jokes or could keep up with them.
“Is there anything else I could help with? I think I’m holding us back a little bit with the wiring right now?” I asked Dr Julien who was sat next to me and he gave me a concerned look before frowning. I noticed Zane share a concerned look with him too.
“I disagree, I think you’re doing a great job! You really picked this up quickly!” Dr Julien told me and I smiled.
“Are you sure? Because I know I’m no good out there with them but- I don’t know. I just feel a little like a burden.” I said and Dr Julien shook his head.
“Nonsense!” He exclaimed and Zane nodded. “Zane? Do you think Peach here is a burden?”
“On the contrary, I think you’ve been increasingly useful.” Zane said and I couldn’t help the thankful smile I gave him. “As ninja we forget that our view of the world is different to the view of others, that means we have lost some of our ‘common’ sense as our viewpoints are no longer common. You have been able to remind us of easier and quicker solutions.” Zane justified and I smiled.
“Thank you and sorry. I guess I just haven’t been feeling like myself over the past few days, maybe Im just feeling a little insecure.” I told them and Zane sent me a reassuring smile.
“A week ago you found out your partner was the green ninja, your home was destroyed, city was invaded, forced to evacuate and you are now helping to repair a flying ship in order to help your partner defeat his evil father in a prophesied final battle. I believe what you are feeling as of now is the feeling of being overwhelmed.” Zane told me and I nodded.
“I think you may be right.” I told them. “Thank you… I’m going to go make tea. Who wants one?” I asked and both men agreed.
It was only luck that on my way out I almost crash into my boyfriend.
“Oh! Careful, Peaches.” He lightly scolded me, hands on my hips to keep me steady. “Don’t need you hurting yourself.” Lloyd told me and I felt my eyes water but I nodded and rushed away from him, ignoring his frown. “Peaches?” He asked but I ignored him.
Lloyd turned back to Dr Julien and Zane who gave him a sympathetic look.
“Is she okay?” Lloyd asked and Dr Julien smiled at him.
“I believe that is what you should go find out.” Dr Julien advised and Lloyd’s eyes widened as he raced off in the direction he saw his girlfriend go.
I felt more stupid than ever. More pathetic than ever. And my headache grew as the tea pot whistled a higher note. I was glad we at least had gas again now. I was tired of having to ask Lloyd to light the stove and Kai making some snarky remark about just using a match. I was tired in general.
“Hey, Peaches.” I heard from the doorway and turned to see Lloyd, I offered him a small smile.
“Hey, Greenie.” I greeted back before going back to putting the right tea bag in each mug. “You want one?” I asked and he shrugged.
“Depends, will you stay and drink it with me? Talk to me a little?” Lloyd asked and I politely smiled.
“I wouldn’t want to be the reason we fall behind schedule.” I told him and he rolled his eyes.
“You wouldn’t be.” He assured before coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist. He placed his head against the back of my shoulder and sighed. “C’mon Y/n, I’m staring to miss you.” Lloyd said and I grinned at his dramatics.
“Lloyd.” I dragged as he began to kiss up my neck gently. “I can’t. Kai and Jay already think I drag out my tea breaks so I don’t have to do as much work. What will they say if I drag out this one to kiss my-“ I didn’t even get to finish my sentence as Lloyd’s head shot up from my neck as his grip around my waist loosened enough for me to turn around to look at him. I gave him a confused look and in turn he kept his eyebrows creased in a frown.
“They said what?” Lloyd asked and I shook my head.
“It’s all in jest and I do probably take a while compared to-“ I tried to justify but Lloyd shook his head.
“Compared to what? Cole has already had to yell at the both of them to get back 4 times this morning.” Lloyd said and I smiled. “And I don’t believe you think it’s all in jest.”
“I’m just not used to it all.” I told him and he frowned harder.
“Don’t make excuses for them, Y/n.” Lloyd told me and I felt my eyes begin to water. “If you’re upset then it doesn’t matter what intent they had.” He added and I felt my heart tighten at his caring words.
“It’s not just them- I’m just overwhelmed. I mean, I’ve lost everything.” I confessed and he nodded and as the kettle’s whistling became quieter my voice became more hushed. Like I only wanted him to hear these words because he was the only one I had left to open up to. “My home is gone. My possessions are gone- I don’t even own any clothes anymore! My shoes are ripping and I’m so fucking tired.” I whispered, tears began to slip from my eyes and Lloyd sighed, bringing me into his arms and my head came to hide in his chest. “I don’t even know what’s going to happen after we get home, if we do. I’m so lost.”
Lloyd fell quiet as quiet sobs began to leave my mouth and he only held me tighter when my body began to shake. After a little while when my thoughts continued to darken and remind me of every little inconvenience, Lloyd hoisted me up, forcing me to wrap my legs around his waist. He moved us to what I assumed was the corner of the room and sat against the wall. It was kind of ironic, a week ago we were sat in this position except it was me comforting him instead. His head came down to rest against the side of mine and began to whisper sweet nothings in my ear that only managed to make me quieten more tears to fall at his kindness and the genuine affection he was showing me.
“I’m sorry.” I heard Lloyd whisper and I froze. “I’ve been so focused on what’s about to happen to me that I’ve forgotten everything that’s just happened to you.” Lloyd told me and I shook my head.
“No, you don’t need to be sorry, Lloyd.” I told him, wiping my tears and nose with the back of my hand. “You didn’t do any of this to me, none of you did… you invited me into your home and your family. You’ve clothed me. You’re all I have right now. And I’ve never been so thankful.” I told him and he smiled.
“Do you think there’s any world out there where I be there when you most need me?” Lloyd asked and I sniffed.
“We’ve barely even been together a month. How can you promise such a thing?” I asked and Lloyd just stared at me for a moment before smiling again.
“I don’t know, I just know I don’t ever want to be away from you. I physically can’t ever be away from you. I mean- I couldn’t even think about staying away from you. You literally called me your personal stalker, Y/n.” Lloyd told me and I frowned.
“Is that a bad thing? Because I don’t see it as one. Should I?” I asked and Lloyd shrugged.
“I don’t know.” Lloyd admitted and I kissed his cheek.
“Maybe I don’t want to be away from you either.” I told him before resting my head against his shoulder. “I don’t feel safe anymore. I feel like I’m in constant danger and you’re the only thing that can protect me. I feel as if I can’t defend myself and I’m just dragging everyone around me down because I don’t understand anything. I feel like I’m dragging you down because I can’t be away from you and now you can’t be away from me!” I exclaimed, seemingly working us both back up.
“What are we going to do?” Lloyd asked and I shrugged, for the first time he actually sounded afraid.
“I don’t know.” I whispered before repeating it again as he held onto me tighter.
“Maybe we should meditate?” Lloyd questioned and I frowned.
“Meditate? I don’t know how-“ I went to say but Lloyd shook his head.
“Here, it’s easy.” He told me, placing my hand against his chest. “Get comfortable and just- just close your eyes. That’ll make it easier to focus.” Lloyd guided and I readjusted my position on him, until my whole body was lax against him. I closed my eyes and I felt him kiss my head. “Okay, now focus on your breathing and try to even it out.” Lloyd said and I frowned.
“All I can focus on is you.” I confessed and I felt Lloyd nod.
“No that’s good, that’s good.” Lloyd reassured. “Can you hear my heartbeat?” He asked and I chuckled.
“I can’t hear it but I can feel it.” I said and I almost felt Lloyd smile.
“Okay, close enough. Count my heartbeats.” He told me.
“Until when?”
“Until you feel calm.”
Just count… just count.
*thump*……..*thump*……*thump*
One…
Two…
Three…
Is Lloyd getting up? He’s picking me up? He’s carrying my somewhere?
Four…
Im so tired. I don’t want to open my eyes.
Five…
I’m so exhausted… maybe I don’t need to open my eyes.
Six…
Lloyd sighed as he laid the girl down on the bed they had previously shared on the bounty. He would have to move her later when she woke up again but for now, he knew she needed the sleep. He knew she needed him. He knew that this messed up need for dependency was mutual and he wasn’t sure he was happy about it. He always saw Peach as so stable. Well for the month he’d been with her, he thought so. She spoke so maturely, she communicated her thoughts well and she was very emotionally available to him. She hadn’t shunned him yet for all his baggage and fucked up decisions he made along the way. She forgave him for deceiving her and heard him out. So to know she was struggling so much the past week and he had been so focused on himself… it was selfish. He was selfish and narrow-minded. She had just lost everything and still threw all her energy into helping him and he had foolishly thought that she was over everything that just happened? That none of it was still raw for her. It happened less than a week ago for fucks sake! Maybe this fast paced relationship was ruining his own perception of time. Maybe all of this wasn’t meant to be so fast and they had both rushed into this head over heels and thought that simple communication could do more than time to actually build a foundation. Or maybe this was their own fucked up way of building a foundation? And fuck, shouldn’t that bite mark be less prominent as a scar? She never said it hurt her but I was as clear as day still.
What was Lloyd doing? Thinking even?! How could he put the right amount of time into her and their relationship if all he could do at the moment was focus on the final battle? It wasn’t all about him and this prophecy!
Lloyd wiped the tear that dared to fall down his face as soon as it left his waterline and with a sniff, he leant down and kissed Y/n’s hairline. He moved some hair out her face and behind her ear before leaning his head against hers.
“I’m sorry, baby.” He whispered. “I’m sorry. You needed me. And I didn’t realise. I do now and I’m sorry. You’re not just my anchor, I’m yours too. And from now on, I’ll hold up my end of that.” Lloyd promised with a kiss to her forehead. “I’m going to find a way to help you, actually. You’ll feel safe again. I’ll make sure of it.” Lloyd declared, still in a whisper before leaving the room.
The tea was long forgotten in the kitchen and Lloyd boiled the kettle again. He needed a drink, something to sooth the tightening of his throat. And of course, where there was tea brewing. Wu wasn’t too far away. So it was unsurprising to see Wu enter the room, Kai not too far behind him.
“One for me Pea- Lloyd! Sorry, thought it was Peach’s job to make tea. I always find her in here so-“ Lloyd knew Kai’s words had no actual intent behind them but they angered him nonetheless. The aftermath of their conversation and her distress left his feelings of protectiveness and guilt in not defending her sooner to flare up at the actual harmless jest.
“Get out, I need to speak to Sensei.” Lloyd told him and the fire ninja raised his hands in faux surrender.
“Jeez, didn’t mean to catch you at a bad time.” Kai said, leaving the room with a calm expression on his face.
“I assume the harsh demand to your brother has some sort of purpose behind it.” Wu told him and Lloyd sighed. “You seem distracted, dear nephew. Care to tell me what troubles you?”
“Y/- Peach… she’s struggling and I didn’t even notice until she told me earlier.” Lloyd told his uncle who nodded. “She doesn’t feel safe and- and I want her to feel safe- I do! She doesn’t want to ever leave me and I can’t even think about leaving her without…. I just want to make her feel like she’s safe again, like she’s secure. I want her to know I can provide that and that she can depend on me as Lloyd. Not just depend on me protecting her as the green ninja.” Lloyd finished and his uncle nodded, looking a little taken aback.
“That’s a lot of pressure for a relationship that’s only been active for such a short period.” Wu told him and he nodded.
“I know, I’m just looking for advice or to rant- I don’t know. I tried mediating with Peach but it just sent her to sleep… she’s that tired.” Lloyd added and Wu nodded.
“You want her to feel emotionally secure with Lloyd, not just physically safe?” Wu asked and Lloyd nodded.
“I think that’s what I’m saying.” Lloyd agreed and Wu stroked his beard.
“Well, can you think of a time that she fully trusted you before she knew of your gi? A time where she put all her faith into you, to guide her and to keep her safe. An intimate moment, that perhaps she had only shared with you.” Wu asked and Lloyd paused, racking his brain for a moment.
“I just felt vulnerable, I felt safe. I haven’t felt like that since I can remember.”
“Yes.” Lloyd told his uncle who smiled back at him.
“Then you know what you must do to make her feel content again.” Wu told his nephew.
“You make me feel safe, content even. I’ve never had that before.”
Lloyd didn’t know much, but he had an idea. And it involved kicking every one of his teammates and elders off this ship.

🔞 mature and sexual themes ahead. Please skip to the next part if you don’t want to read this, none of the storyline will be missed.
When I woke up again, it was dark and I sat up quickly. What was I thinking?! I needed to get back to the lighthouse as quickly as possible! It was too dangerous to be alone on this ship in the dark with that thing out here! I needed to find someone else as quick as possible and tell them we needed to leave- I-
“Easy, baby.” I heard a familiar voice from the foot of the doorway and turned to see Lloyd. I sighed in relief, and swung my legs over the bedside.
“What’s going on? Shouldn’t we be in the lighthouse?” I asked and he chucked before moving over towards me.
“No, everyone else is up there but we’re going to stay here tonight.” Lloyd told me and I frowned.
“Isn’t that too dange-“ I got cut off by Lloyd gently resting a hand against my check and softly grazing his thumb over my skin.
“We’re okay.” He assured, leaning down until he was eye level with me. “You’re okay.” He reassured and I nodded. It felt unusually warm between us. And intimate.
“So we’re all alone? The whole ship just do ourselves?” I asked and Lloyd nodded with a smile. “What are we gonna do?” I asked, teasingly and Lloyd smirked before pressing a small kiss to my lips leaving my cheeks to warm. He took a moment to look over me with such an adoring look in his eyes it made me smile.
“You’re so beautiful, Peaches.” He told me and I giggled.
“Seriously, Lloyd.” I said, my unfaltering grin not helping to showcase my said seriousness. “What are we doing?” I asked and he put his other hand on my other cheek so he was holding my face. He let a thumb drift down and light pull my bottom lip down.
Oh.
Now I got what we were going to do.
“First I’m going to show you how much you fucking mean to me, Y/n.” Lloyd declared with such a fire in his eyes. “Then I’m going to take control- just how you like.” Lloyd fold me and I felt myself begin to heat up immediately.
“Really?” I asked and Lloyd nodded.
“If that’s what you want?” He asked and I nodded.
“Yes. I want that. I want you.” I told him and he smirked. “But, are you okay with that?” I asked and he gave me a weird look. “I know you feel like you’re going to hurt me whenever we do this and I- I don’t want you to-“ he cut me off by lightly shushing me.
“Don’t worry about me, baby.” He told me, his voice lowering to a whisper. “This is all about you… I’m going to make you feel safe again.” Lloyd told me and I smiled.
“You don’t have to do this.” I told him and he smiled.
“Of course I do. I want to.” He said and I felt my heart warm.
“And it’s just us?” I questioned and he nodded. “Come here then.” I told him and I tried to pull his face towards me but he backed off. I frowned but he only winked. I watched as Lloyd stood with a confused expression but he only smirked.
“You’re going to take my gi off first.” He told me and my eyebrows raised in surprise.
His gi was an intricate piece of fabric. It had so many buckles and belts and things that overlapped that the new given task actually seemed a little daunting. Even so I rose from the bed and slowly made my way over, I looked up at him when I got close enough and he grinned once again.
“I’ll give you a hint.” Lloyd said taking my hand and putting on the main belt of his gi. “You start here.” He told me and I smiled.
The belt came off easily. The other buckles needed loosening and altogether it came off a lot easier than it looked. I was thankful for that at least. Lloyd kicked the gi off to the side and ripped his undershirt off quickly before leaning down to kiss and suck on my neck, particularly around the bite that was still awfully sensitive at times.
“Try not to leave too many marks.” I told him. “I don’t want your team to have more to say than they already-“ My sentence was cut off by my own gasp as I was hoisted up, forcing my legs to wrap around his waist.
“Let them talk.” Lloyd told me. “We’re different to them. We don’t just fuck for pleasure. It’s so much more.” Lloyd told me and I nodded before letting him connect our lips together in a way that really showed the passion we held for each other.
“I need you, Lloyd.” I confessed. “I actually need you. Not just to get me off but as a whole. You’re right, what we feel for each other is not just want. It’s a need.” I told him and that seemed to ignite something inside him as he suddenly dropped me on the bed.
“Strip.” He told me. “All the way. I want to be able to love every part of you.” Lloyd told me and if he wasn’t so distracted getting his own boxers off he would’ve seen the way I paused at that word.
Love?
My thoughts were cut short by my own trousers getting pulled off with such a force it made my whole body get dragged down the bed and I surprised laugh to leave my mouth.
“Not quick enough, Peaches.” Lloyd told me and I laughed.
“Okay, okay!” I laughed before unclipping my bra and throwing it at him as he laughed and caught it. “You hurry up! I’m getting cold!” I told him and he raised an eyebrow.
“You’ve still got something on.” He told me, referring to my underwear.
“I thought you would want to take those off.” I told him and he chuckled.
Lloyd’s infatuation with eating me out wasn’t an unwelcome kink but he sure was getting better at it each time. It seemed each time he got me to cum quicker and quicker and he wasn’t afraid to lick, smell, taste all of it. I’m sure there was more salvia over my bare clit than anything I naturally released. I was sure he had some sort of oral fixation, not that I minded. I’m sure I did too with how I begged to suck him off not even moments later.
“I’m going to give you a choice. You can only pick one.” Lloyd told me and I frowned up at him from my place in between his legs, I let my face rest on his thigh as he stroked my hair. I looked up to meet his eyes and he smiled down at me. I hummed in acknowledgement and he continued. “You can either suck me off and stay there or you can come back up here and once we’re done, you can keep me in.”
Lloyd was letting me cockwarm him either with my mouth or my legs.
“Can’t I do both?” I asked and he chuckled.
“No, baby.” He told me and I closed my eyes for a moment.
“Will you bite me again?” I asked and he frowned.
“Did you like it?” He asked and I nodded. “I won’t bite you how I did before but I can still bite if you want.” Lloyd said and I went back to thinking. My mind went all jumbled whenever I was in this position.
“What do you want?” I asked and he shook his head.
“It’s your decision.” He told me and I stared at the cock right by my face. It was going in me either way, it was just which entrance did I want it in.
I licked a stripe up the base quickly and he groaned before I started kissing and sucking all the way up. It wasn’t until I felt my own teeth lightly graze his skin did I feel Lloyd’s hand grip my hair tightly and I wasn’t ashamed to admit the moan I let out.
“Teeth, Y/n.” He told me. “I won’t warn you again, baby.” Lloyd told me and I nodded and he loosened his grip slightly to let me move more.
I didn’t take him in my mouth though, I just watched as he became harder and harder until I backed up. He gave me a stern look when I did so which made me heat up more than before.
I didn’t even utter a word as I clambered up on his lap, his eyes followed mine the whole time. I lifted my hips a little higher and he seemed to get the memo. He pushed two fingers in at once and I hissed a little before he shushed me quietly and began to work on loosening me up once again as he had done so with his tongue not long before. When I felt my knees slowly staring to give out, that when I felt his fingers be removed and instead his tip was pushing into me, slowly and it felt so much more intimate than usual. I love this. I love-
I love….
Love.
“Lloyd.” I breathed out as he lifted us up and placed me down on my back. I couldn’t believe it. Love. That’s such a strong word. Love.
When was the last time I had said I loved someone?! Or someone had told me it?! And- and I hadn’t even known Lloyd for two months. How could I love someone this soon? How did I give myself to someone I had only been dating for two weeks? How could I rush so easily to get on a flying ship and embark on a mission to fulfil a prophecy for someone I had known less than 2 months and- and…
Lloyd leaned down to press his lips to my forehead and my thoughts seemed to stop. Whatever whirlwind my mind was currently stuck in seemed to dissipate. Lloyd wasn’t just anyone. We weren’t normal teenagers adjusting to our first real relationship. Lloyd was right. We are different.
Lloyd was the Green Ninja. Fate had carved his path long before he was born.
I wasn’t normal either. Fate wouldn’t dare disclose my path to me but I knew it wouldn’t let me live a normal life.
With a new surge of passion I pushed myself up and crashed my lips against him in a messy kiss. Lloyd pushed me back down and continued the kiss whilst still thrusting his hips into mine wildly.
“I need you. I need you so badly.” Maybe need was just a replacement for the other word I really wanted to say. Maybe.
And with both of us spent and the oh so familiar warmth locked deep inside me by Lloyd’s unmoving figure. I felt safe. I felt secure and I felt as if I had everything even in the time when I had lost everyone. Because I had him. So I played with Lloyd’s blonde loose curls until I heard little snores against my bare chest.
This was where I was supposed to be. And where I would stay.

Me writing Ninjago Fanfic in 2024 more likely than you realize,
I needed practice writing, here have some Braincell
.
He moved her hair out of the way and pressed his lips to hers. Nya immediately reciprocating, his other hand came up to cup her face, feeling her own hands rest on his arms, before she stepped back
“I-I-”
“What is it?” worried she rejected his feelings, but jolted as she embraced him tightly
“I'm scared Zane,” he heard he murmur in a soft voice full of fear,
He knew why she was and held her close, even placing a kiss to the top of her head,
“I promise you Nya I will never forget you even if I have to carry a separate memory bank as backup” She chuckled, shaking her head stepping back so she could look up at him,
“No-no, you don't need to do anything like that, Zane. I know nothing like the Merge will ever happen again, just scared for the future in general. What if-" she trailed off,
Again, he knew what she was scared of, being taken once more from the one she loved. He gently cupped her face turning it so watery blues met icy blues filled with tenderness,
"Then we will tackle such when or if that comes once more. We have always done so together as friends, but now we shall do it as partners." She gave a smile nodding,
They jumped apart in surprise, as a wolf whistle came from the front of the monastery followed by a cry turning sharply they saw Kai rubbing his arm glaring at a smiling Cole who had a look of relief on his face,
"Kai!" Nya was instantly mad, they all laughed as the look of oh fuck passed the red ninjas face, he ran off his sister on his heels,
"Try not to harm him too badly my dear, I'd like to not have to replenish our Medical Supplies again so soon," That caused further laughter as Lloyd Arin and Sora finally made their appearances,

Of Milk and Cookies Chapter 19: Hide and Seek World Champions
It had to be some sort of glitch. Or something. It was just a silly game meant to entertain tweenage girls who have nothing better to do than gush over crushes and obsess over their “perfect match”. No reason to panic. No reason to say anything to anyone about it. Right?
Nya hadn’t had a lot of time to dwell on her bizzarro Perfect Match results earlier, what with the entirety of Borg Tower trying to kill her and her students. Which seemed like such a waste of all that beautiful, beautiful technology, to be honest. But now that the kids were (reasonably) safe with Dareth, and she had (finally) gotten ahold of Lloyd (he really needed to start checking his phone more often), there was nothing to do but wait for everyone else to meet up with her. She had grabbed a few things from one of her Samurai X hideouts and was now chilling in the forest near Garmadon’s monastery gathering branches to hide everyone’s vehicles with. This was giving her plenty of time to (over) think about it.
What did it say about Nya that she was allowing this to affect her so much? It was embarrassing, really. She’d always been so sure of what she wanted before now. She and Jay went so well together. They shared so many of the same interests. Jay always went out of his way to make her feel special and most of the time, he succeeded. And he had looked awfully adorable when he was geeking out over getting to visit Borg Industries. So what if he had been smothering her a bit lately? It was probably justified considering she’d just gotten out of the hospital not that long ago, even if she didn’t particularly like it.
Speaking of which- maybe all the jumping and backflips earlier hadn’t been such a great idea. Her side ached where the stitches had recently healed. Painkillers were definitely in order. Nya reached into her backpack and pulled out a water bottle and choked down some pills. That was better. Whoever invented Tylenol was a life saver. She sank down against a tree and rested until she could see an assortment of (probably stolen) vehicles in the distance. The boys were quick to unload themselves amongst a cacophony of chatter as they tried to summarize what had happened since they last saw her that morning.
“We met the Cyrus Borg, Nya! Can you believe it?!” Jay told her excitedly (as if she didn’t already know this). “ItwasSOcool!”
“Yeah and he was such a total geek about it, sis. Should’a been there,” Kai said.
Hey - that was so unfair! It wasn’t her fault she hadn’t been invited. Nya would have loved to meet him in person, though obviously under less… deadly circumstances. Emailing back and forth with him and his assistant to set up the field trip had been fascinating. She didn’t understand why she hadn’t been included! She was every bit as smart and skilled as the ninja were. She was just… a girl. Wait. Was that it? Did Mr. Borg see her as less valuable because of her gender? The thought infuriated her. The sexist treatment she got from the boys at school was bad enough, but now it was coming from grown men? Ugh! Deep breaths, Nya. This is not a good time to lose it over things outside of your control.
“And I got to throw Zane off a building!” Cole announced, interrupting her train of thought. He looked maybe a little too proud of himself. Kai grinned enthusiastically.
“Yeah! It was so badass! It’s a shame nobody was around to appreciate it…”
“Don’t worry! I am fine,” Zane jumped in to assure her, “It was actually quite invigorating.”
Why was she not surprised? Leave those boys alone for 5 minutes and all hell breaks loose.
“And then we almost got captured,” Cole started in again.
“But Golden Boy swooped in out of nowhere,” Kai interrupted, “and Wu came up with this brilliant plan to trick the Overlord- who is back, by the way - but we had to leave him behind.”
Well, that explained things. Some things, anyway.
Lloyd looked a bit dejected at the mention of his uncle’s fate. Poor kid. Nya hoped seeing his parents would help perk him up a bit. He really didn’t deserve another round of trauma. Not that anyone did, but Lloyd was a special case. They all knew it.
“Don’t worry, Lloyd. We’ll do whatever we have to to get him back,” she told him, patting his shoulder gently. She meant it. It would be a good distraction from… whatever was going on with her love life?
“Yeah!” Jay agreed. He pumped his fist in the air. “With these new techno blades, what could possibly go wrong!”
“Don’t say things like that!” Cole complained, obviously worried that Jay was going to jinx them all or something.
“In the meantime, perhaps we should get our vehicles under cover. We do not want to risk being spotted,” Zane observed before Jay and Cole could start bickering over word choice.
“Definitely,” Nya agreed, “I’ve got a whole pile of brush I gathered while I was waiting for you slowpokes to get here.”
“Hey! I’d like to see you try navigating anywhere without a GPS! It takes freaking forever!” Kai complained, glaring at her.
“We were worried the Overlord might be able to use the system to track us, so we chose to navigate the old fashioned way,” explained Zane. It had probably been the right call. There was no telling what type of technology might betray them next.
“And that would’ve been fine if somebody hadn’t made so many wrong turns,” said Cole. He threw an accusatory glance Kai’s way.
“That is so not fair!” The fire ninja protested.
“I’ll take the map, he said. It’ll be fine, he said,” Cole muttered, giving his best impression of Kai, who looked like he wanted to strangle him.
And just like that, another round of bickering broke out. Nya was relieved when they finished camouflaging the vehicles and the argument finally died down.
Unfortunately, arriving at the monastery did not provide the respite she had been hoping for. Nya just couldn’t stop herself from circling back to the Cole vs. Jay situation, and Misako was exactly zero help. Thank goodness that conversation hadn’t lasted very long. She definitely didn’t need to know anything about Lloyd’s mom’s love life. That was just too weird for her.
She snuck down to hide out by the waterfall behind the monastery, hoping a moment away from the boys (and Misako) would help her get her head on straight before things could get any weirder.
Plunk. Nya tried to skip a stone. It sank. Stupid Perfect Match getting her all confused.
Plop. Plop. She tried again. This time it bounced twice. Stupid boys. Stupid Misako.
She threw again and again, losing herself in pebbles and splashes. Something about the way the water rippled was just so satisfying.
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were avoiding me,” a teasing voice said from behind her.
Nya yelped in surprise and nearly fell into the pond. “Jeez, Lloyd! You nearly gave me a heart attack!“
“Sorry!” the Green Ninja apologized awkwardly, “I, uh, came to get you for dinner.”
…Heck. When had it gotten so late?
“Oh. Dinner would probably be a good idea, huh,” she replied, dropping the pebble she’d been about to skip.
“Definitely. Anyway- are you okay? You’ve been down here for an awfully long time…” Lloyd said, giving her a worried look.
Was she okay? That was probably up for debate, though the pebble throwing session had been awfully therapeutic.
“It’s just… been a really weird day,” Nya told him. That was the best explanation she could come up with. She didn’t even know where to start.
“You can say that again,” he agreed. He looked tired. “Hey, maybe I should’ve come and hidden down here with you earlier. Mom keeps trying to bond with me, when all I wanna do is figure out how we’re gonna get Uncle Wu back.”
Oof. Nya really should’ve made sure he was ok before abandoning him like that. She felt a little selfish, now.
“Oh, ew. You know, it’s not too late to become the elemental master of hiding,” she offered.
“I’m sure there’s a huge demand for that,” he agreed. He gave her a weak grin.
“I can see it now. Lloyd ‘Garmagone’, hide and seek world champion.” Nya gestured dramatically.
“I would be so good at hiding, they wouldn’t even be able to find me to give me my trophy,” Lloyd joked. They both giggled.
“Take me with you and teach me your ways, oh great one! That way your mom can’t try to give me any more crappy relationship advice,” Nya begged him. She’d give anything for a solid escape plan.
He looked totally disgusted at this. “Wait- what? I’m not sure I even wanna know.”
Oops. Maybe she shouldn’t have let that slip.
“I… well, Misako may have noticed some tension between Jay and I,” Nya stated vaguely. If she didn’t mention the whole Perfect Match thing, maybe it would just… cease to exist.
“Okayyy. That might actually win the prize for worst thing that’s happened today. Did you and Jay have a fight or something?” Lloyd asked, obviously unsure how to help in this situation.
“No! Yes! I don’t even know?” Nya groaned, burying her face in her hands. “Jay’s just been so clingy since I got back from the hospital - and I know that scared everyone, and I know I probably do need to take it easier, but he’s just so smothering! And I don’t know how to tell him that without hurting his feelings! And don’t even get me started on how sexist the boys at school have been lately - seriously. It sucks. Jay sucks. My students suck. Cyrus Borg and his killer tech suck!”
Lloyd just stood there quietly and let her have her moment. He patted her shoulder awkwardly when she was done venting.
“Better?” He asked eventually.
Nya paused to consider before answering.
“Surprisingly, yes.”
“Look, I don’t know much about relationships, but you and Jay are both some of my favorite people. If Jay knew how much all this was bothering you, I’m sure he’d tone it down. And Kai and the others would totally crack down on the kids, too. I really think when all of this is over, you should try talking to everyone about what you’re feeling,” Lloyd told her, fixing her with a way too mature and grown up look. Darn it. When had he gone and gotten so wise? She and Kai were gonna need to up their game for serious lectures after this.
“How dare you make so much sense,” Nya complained.
“What can I say? You’ve always pushed me to talk things out instead of bottling it up. Now it’s your turn to try it.”
“Okay, fair enough,” she relented. In the distance, Kai yelled at them to hurry up and threatened to eat all the creamy biscuits without them.
“We should probably go. I don’t think he’s bluffing,” Lloyd stated.
“Oh, no, he definitely isn’t. Race you?” Nya didn’t wait for his reply.
“Cheater!” He called after her, but she refused to be guilted into letting him win.
Sooner or later, she was going to have to face the complicated and yucky mess that was her love life, but maybe it was ok to ignore that reality a little longer. She just hoped there wouldn’t be too much fallout in the end.

"You're doing very well, Yumi!" Garmadon's smile blinds her, but she doesn't mind, too happy to hear this compliment. "It's great you're getting more control of the Dream element."
"But, Master..." Yumi interrupts. "I'm still bothered by nightmares where you're gone, and I don't know what to do... They feel so real... And so painful..."
She sighs heavily. These nightmares have become her second life, and that hurts.
"Well, I think it's your last test from the Dream," Garmadon replies with kind smile. "You should choose which world you belong."
Yumi looks carefully at Sensei's face, and the feeling of hope lifts her spirit. If she has to fight nightmare, pain and suffering so everybody can live peacefully, free from sorrows and violence... She wiil do her best.
"So, what do you choose?"
"I choose eternal happiness."

Kai goes through the traning course, punching, kicking dummies and shooting them with fireballs. However, the last strike misses. He turns off the mechanism with a tired sigh.
"How's it going?" Yumi suddenly appears behind his back.
"AAAAH!" Kai screams and almost jumps away. "Ugh... You can't sneak and scare people like that!"
"Sorry." She smiles calmly. "So, how's your training?"
Kai looks at dummies and shrugs it off. "Eh, as usual..."
"But you look tired," Yumi notices.
"Maybe I've lost my fit a bit, but that's okay, I can deal with it." Girl stares at Kai, so intently that he starts to worry about it. "Um, what? Is something wrong with my hair?"
"No, I just think I can help you," she smiles again.
"You?" Kai raises his eyebrow in confusion. "I thought you didn't like combat training."
"Oh, I don't need to fight you. I've learnt a new technique to strengthen you," Yumi stretches out her hand. "Do you want to give it a try?"
"Hm... Sure, why not!" Kai gets kind of interested in her progress, so he gives a hand.
Yumi closes her eyes, and Kai feels how the energy fills his body. Weariness leaves him, he feels completely fresh and renewed. The Red Ninja makes a hit in the air and release a burst of fire, the strongest he's ever seen.
"Wow! What a feeling!" he laughs and destroys the annoying dummy on his way. "I've never felt so energetic!"
"Hey, can you be quiet?! I'm trying to-" Jay, who came out to complain, breaks off in mid-sentence, amazed. "Woah, that's so cool! How are you doing that?"
Yumi turns to him with the same calm smile.
"Do you want to try this technique of mine too?"

As Cole closes the fridge door and turns back, he almost drops his portion of snacks out of surprise.
"Hi, Cole," Yumi doesn't even move, smiling calmly.
"Oof, Yumi... How have you got here so quietly?"
"I've learnt some stealth recently."
"That's... That's good to hear," Cole smiles, however, he feels something weird. "Hey, I can't help but notice that you look better... I mean, you finally seem chill again as you were, well, before all the events."
Yumi remains silent and staring.
"... I'm sorry, did it sound bad?" Cole can't even read her expression. "I mean, I'm glad you're fine now. Not stressed or something like that."
"Thank you," Yumi replies. "I'm happy to hear it."
"Cool... Cool."
Cole grabs a snack and eats it, but doesn't get satisfaction.
"Something's wrong?" girl immediately asks.
"Eh, it's just not the same..." Cole sighs with frustration. "It's a hard time for Chen's Noodle House so their food is... So tasteless. Skylor promised to fix that, but for now I have to deal with-"
"Let me help you," Yumi interrupts and stretches out her hand closer to Cole's face. "My new ability will help you to feel the whole spectrum of tastes and even more."
"Uh, what? When have you learnt this trick?" Cole slightly moves away from her hand.
"That doesn't matter, friend. Kai and Jay have already tested it... And they're happy. Don't be afraid, let me help you."
"Okay... But only this time."

"Hey, Yumi, have you called me?" Lloyd enters the room and sees Yumi who leans on a sofa back. She looks at him with relaxed smile.
"I want to talk with you," she replies and makes a gesture to come closer. Lloyd makes a few steps and then notices Kai, Jay and Cole sleeping on the sofa.
"Huh... That's strange of them to sleep in the middle of the day," the Green Ninja notes.
"They've got tired of training so they're taking a nap now," Yumi slightly pats Cole's head. "Look, you know I had hard times... Everything was a mess..."
Lloyd looks carefully at Yumi as she talks. Something disturbs him, something surreal in details of her appearance. She let her hair down, though she always ties it up in two buns. There's no sign of bags under eyes, but it's too early for them to completely disappear. Her movements are very slow, and her eyes don't look at Lloyd... Yumi looks through him, right into his soul.
"But a miracle happened... I saw him."
"Who?.." Lloyd asks in confusion.
"Sensei Garmadon. Our mentor. Your father."
Yumi smiles, and an uncanny feeling strikes Lloyd.
"W-what?.. You must be joking, this is nonsense..." he mumbles.
"This is real, Lloyd!" Yumi sounds excited. "I meet your father in my dreams! My element has finally started to help me! And this way... Garmadon taught me how to control dreams!"
Lloyd sees a tone of craziness in her look.
"Look at our friends, Lloyd! They're happy thanks to Dream! Isn't it wonderful? These new abilities are amazing!"
Lloyd takes a step away, scared of Yumi.
"But you put them to sleep... How long have they been sleeping?!"
"An hour... Or two... Or five..." Yumi counts, getting closer to Lloyd. "But does it matter? They're happy! They're in the best world of all where all their dreams come true! And you can join them, you can finally see your father and never lose him again..."
"Yumi, that's not the way! You're crazy, come to your senses!"
"Oh, Lloyd..."
Yumi smiles and reaches for him. Lloyd tries to get away, but the Dream Master grabs his head and blinds him with her glowing pink eyes.
"I will help you reach the eternal happiness."

The Titanium Dragon flies above Ninjago City. Zane returns home from a mission. Looking down, he notices that city is... Dormant. The streets are covered in pink mist, and people are asleep on sidewalks, in cars, in their offices. Fortunately, there's no sight of car accidents.
"Pixal, can you analyze this fog?"
"I can't find any information in the database. But, I have to say, it seems to have the same structure as Yumi's elemental power. If I were you, I would hurry."
The dragon speeds up, and Zane gets home in a few minutes. Now it's clear for him that the source of fog is here. He walks through the rooms past the sleeping Nya, Master Wu, Misako... Everybody is asleep. Zane moves crosscurrent and finally reaches the source — Yumi. She floats in the lotus position, surrounded by sleeping ninja. As she pats Lloyd's head, her hand absorbs green sparkles of energy.
"You returned..." Yumi speaks slowly.
The Dream Master straightens her legs and floats closer. Zane gets an opportunity to look at her carefully, and her new appearance scares him. Yumi is wearing a dark-pink kimono with flower patterns, its sleeves and skirt slightly flatter. Yumi's hair float like in the water, and antlers made of cherry branches bloom on her head, filling the room with petals.
"What have you done?.." Zane asks quietly in disbelief. How have everything got out of hand so quickly?
"I... Sent them to a better world." Yumi smiles and looks right through Zane's heart with her eyes closed.
"You put them to sleep."
"The Dream Realm is the best home for these tired souls. It's always been."
"But they can't sleep forever. Yhey must wake up!" Zane insists, but Yumi just shrugs.
"You don't understand. You must join them and see. I will be your guide, Zane, you deserve joining the world of satisfaction..."
She reaches out to touch, but nindroid keeps the distance.
"I'm sorry to say it, but it's the wrong way, Yumi. Running from reality isn't a solution."
"The real world is cruel, violent and sorrowful. The Dream Realm gives them eternal happiness. There's nothing wrong, it's the only way to save Ninjago..."
"No!" Zane interrupts. "You can't choose for others. All you give them is the illusion of happiness, when they can experience real feelings in reality."
Yumi remains silent for a moment.
"You're being stubborn... You're afraid. If you can't believe me..." The Dream Master opens her eyes that turned pink. "Then I will show you the truth."
Yumi dashes to Zane and grabs him by shoulders. He struggles to free himself but fails. The Dream Master looks straight into his eyes.
"You're a nindroid, of course you think differently. But that's not a problem... You see dreams too. You're just like humans... And you deserve the eternal happiness too."

Tumblr media
That is one hell of a sudden timejump ^^' Like the game just started, but we have done NOTHING and yet, two freaking months have past.
Tumblr media
In case you don't know that yet or you have forgotten it, this very girl is Yun-Ka-Fais very own granddaughter.
Tumblr media
I love how games like these ALWAYS find a way to force some weird logic on you that makes you understand that you have no choice but to have a fresh start XD
Tumblr media
Oh... do we not have to walk there ourselfs? Nice!
Tumblr media
Oh! I totally forgot that stuff like this already existed in this game. That will be fun!
Tumblr media
This Prolouge is annoying me for some reason I can not fully explain. The dungeon sucked because of all the levers and now we get thrown into whatever fight awaits us outside, just after one full day of dungeon exploring. But I am probably just salty because that is exactly how the pacing will be for the most part of the game ^^'
Tumblr media
They put on quite the show to make it look real, didn't they? ^^' And even tho those two girls have noticed already that they have been training for this, they still didn't realize how awfully convenient all this is.
Tumblr media
I totally get that this was training and preparing them for what its to come. You know, real-life situations and all that... but I still think they've overdone it a bit here.
Also... damn was that boring. Even if I had to fight the monsters on the way, it would not have been really entertaining at all. This dungeon sucked even more than the last one, because it pretended to be hard, but it actually wasn't. Once again, the monster in a non-plus-game might have told a different story but the overall dungeon wasn't great at all and this did nothing to the plot even if you didn't find out or knew you were tricked from the start.
Tumblr media
Campanelle came with a small airplane. Whats wrong? No teleportation-skills just yet, Campi? XD
Tumblr media
Ouroboros is always so overstaffed XD Seriously. Four people plus the two currently talking. Six members of Ourobors. Anguises among them too. Geez!
Oh! I forgot to add the Faceless. Make it 7 members. Seriously Ourobors, that scared of us, or what? XD
Tumblr media
I forgot that we've been here before Cold Steel. And it remains a sad place with sad music.
It must have been hard for Joshua to come back here and face his past.
Tumblr media
I am pretty sure NO ONE saw this coming. I can not remember much from my first playthrough to be absolutely honest with you, but I can remember that Joshua working with the Capuas WAS quite a surprise. They seemed to be useless silly side characters in the first game. And now here they are... protecting Joshua and being his allies while he would be otherwise all alone.
And then later on you meet Josette back in Erebonia and you like: "W-Wait a minute!" XD
Tumblr media
I am kinda glad that this is over. But if Falcom never was good at something, that its been Prolouges ^^'
Tumblr media
After all those years and all those games I am kind of confused were the archaism really come from. Obviously, at this point Ouroboros is mass-producing them. But it didn't start out like that, didn't it? Wasn't it rather that they found them somewhere and just reproduced them, like they did with thing like the Auraleole?
But were did they find them first? Cavard, as Kevin words suggest?
Tumblr media
Well I mean we ARE running straight into "the end of the world" and I am not sure yet what Cassiuse did to try to prevent it XD
(I am very much aware that I am a bit unfair here. Thanks to our most beloved idiot police Detective Lloyd, most people do not even know the end of the world is coming, so its not like he COULD have done anything about it, given that he didn't have the necessary knowledge... Oh fun! I've just realized, if we fuck this up in Kai we can blame it on Lloyd. The guy who decided to not even be there, as it seems... *achem* moving on... uh... back to the past I mean ^^')
Tumblr media
Ouroboros is quite the... colorful bunch in every way possible. Some of them are really good at blending in too. So... uh... how exactly do you want to find someone "resembling" a secret society, Agate? ^^'
Tumblr media
I should not pick Agate again this time, as I picked him last time already. But I did have my reasons for choosing him and the reasons still apply. So... sorry Schera. But its the hothead again XD
Tumblr media
Yeah... I've got that wrong too ^^' I guess we have to get our heads out of the gutter.
I am two hours into the game and as expected, NOTHING worth of note actually happened. So I am glad to announce that I am taking a break now.
