Does Dan have a super form?
// No, he does not have access to a super form as he has no connection to chaos energies with him not being primarily from mobius and as a result, he's unable to use the power of the emeralds. That's my 'lore' reason but honestly given his already existing powers he'd be outright OP in my opinion if he did.
However, If in a what if scenario he ever were to gain a super form, I believe it would be something like this.
You can look here for a previous post on this topic.

there seems to be far too many fans who can't seem to wrap their head around the fact that no relationship in the Vampire Chronicles is healthy. every relationship includes an element of abuse/power imbalance by normal standards. literally every single one.
they are all monsters who are no longer constrained by societal rules. so I don't think it's too crazy to expect them to do mosntorus things. the genre is Gothic HORROR. the show really prioritizes the HORROR element more so than other adaptaions, which i love.
i don't need louis to be a liar to enjoy lestat. if louis lied or misremebered things about the fight in episode 5, i literally do not care because it's never gonna make me hate louis. the baseline of what constitutes "evil" or "bad" is so different in iwtv because of the fact that they are NOT HUMAN. Claudia is literally a serial killer and she's still mother to me. ykwim?
the nature of vampirism is they have to kill to survive. so it would be really cool if people could accept louis, armand, and claudia as complex characters who are fundamentally not good people (because they aren't people!) without being racist about it. THEY ARE ALL KILLERS
im more interested in this exploration of the complexities of memory and seeing how the show integrates the other books into this story in a way that hasn't been done before than I am in discoursing about whether louis is a liar or not. who gives a shit???? grow up and realize that there are no good guys here and that's OKAY

I personally think the Nox aren't naturally grey. Overexposure to colloidal silver makes you bluish grey
And the Nox of the eternal cities make heavy use of silver tears. I don't think it's unreasonable to think it's turned them grey
The ancestral followers are *also* grey, which to me seems to point to it being an environmental factor, and if it is the silver tears (or whatever process produces them) I can only assume it's not a contamination limited to the cities themselves.

people on twitter are discoursing about whether xie lian’s chastity-based cultivation is a form of abuse (?????) which is so backward to me like huh???? yes jun wu’s thing about xie lian being a virgin is fucking creepy and weird and part of his overall obsession and desire to control him. but did they just completely miss the part where xie lian chose this method of cultivation bc the abstinence wasn’t an issue for him? he got hit by sex pollen and never once thought of sex? he didn’t even cultivate for 700 years and just never had sex because he never wanted to and as soon as he found a guy he wanted to fuck he just went for it? literally didn’t even pause to consider the cultivation thing at any point. if this were any other character it might have been used against him but the whole point is xie lian once again perfectly dodging jun wu’s manipulation attacks by just being a weird little guy with autism

obviously it's okay to prefer one show to another and prefer a certain style of storytelling over another but the language people use to describe why they think house is so much better than grey's anatomy is just obviously steeped in misogyny and derision towards media aimed at women. like oh you think house is grittier and it's medical procedures are more hardcore and grey's anatomy has too much romance and only straight women like it. why don't you call house more masculine and be done with it?

I'm re-reading The Fellowship of the Ring, and here's something I just stumbled upon.
In the chapter following the Council of Elrond, the Hobbits are sitting around discussing what's going to happen next and who will be involved. Pippin makes his famous comment about how he should go because there needs to be someone of intelligence in the party, and Gandalf famously comes back with his remark that under those circumstances, Pippin definitely won't be chosen.
But I want you to notice this:
"'Then you certainly will not be chosen, Peregrin Took!' said Gandalf, looking in through the window which was near the ground."
And then a little later in the same scene:
"So great was Frodo 's delight at this announcement [that Gandalf would probably be accompanying them] that Gandalf left the window sill, where he had been sitting, and took off his hat and bowed."
So first of all, Gandalf is "looking in through the window," which implies he was outside, right?
And then he's standing up from the window sill and taking a bow, presumably now in the room with the Hobbits, right?
So that means . . .
Gandalf climbed in through the window. 😂😂

What future do you truly strive for? Is it a 'good' one by your standards of good? Is it moral? Is it devious? Do you have specific plans for your future, or (if you couldn't answer all the previous questions) is it nothing more than striving forward and reacting to the moment? Do you believe you are free to live the future you wish? If not, what ties you down, if anything?
"That's a lot to ask grey one, I don't even know where to begin, you say such things as if I'm someone with the ability to control or influence what the future will be." A soft sigh escapes from the demon-hog as he thinks on how to answer.
"I don't even know what I truly want, sure I want to defeat my kind however that's survival, not really a way to choose how to live or what future I'd like."
"I cannot really decide as to how I live while there's a fight to be had that'll interrupt any attempt I make to live peacefully if I ignore it, so I guess my only want to the future is to be able to live long enough so I can actually try and reach a decision as to how I'll go about things in the future."
"Sorry if its not really an entertaining answer, but its difficult to even imagine what'll happen....sure, I'd like to try doing more of my own thing and exploring possibilities wherever they may lead, but its nearly impossible to focus on such things currently."

Before taking the Gale Squad to Spider Town to continue their horrible luck with animals, I decided it was more thematically appropriate to give them a reason to go down there. So I headed into the Alchemist's Shop/basement. They handily mopped up the little "surprise" left down there (I might have to toggle on Tactician Mode soon), and when I opened the chest with the scroll for Best Quasit Girl™, I found a surprise:
I genuinely don't remember these items being there in my first playthrough. Anyway, time to get even more sidekicks into the Gale Squad!
