Lan fang is a busy stay at home dad? He’s got accident daughter #1, point object triplets daughters 2-4, and tailor baby son #5. Plus whatever other babies come along. Luckily he likes little kids, and he has a lot of support.

Lan Fang and the kiddos have a really cute tradition of making a packed lunch for A-Lan every time she goes out night-hunting. Lan Fang prepares the main meal, and each bao is allowed to make a little snack/side dish or choose something from the leftovers in the "fridge" or the shelf-stable foods in the pantry. The resulting packed lunch usually ends up looking something like this:

Steamed rice, spicy oven-braised pork with greens (Lan Fang)

One stir-fried egg with scallions, cooked by Daughter #1

A tiny salad comprised few slices of fresh cucumber, tomato, and corn (chopped up by Daughters 2 through 4, with the assistance of a child-safe knife), plus some table seasonings like vinegar and soy sauce on top for taste

One giant strawberry (provided by Tailor Baby).
