Postal Demon in Postal 3 au INFOBLAST!!! + some demon headcanons bc I’m evil

WARNING!!! This is a poorly written au that was created just to house this AWFUL crackship…… This au is held together by really thin strings,, the strings are that the first game’s Paradise is the same as the rest of the other games. (I just have to ball with it⛹️)(Despite the au taking place in one general universe that compiles the other games,, I don’t think that the postal dudes from each game are the same person!🧨 idk what all these dudes are doing around eachother but we ball)

Small postal demon info before I start the au summary:

I call the postal demon “Pamorrgus” a lot in this,,,, fake demon name I made up for him… sigh… you can tell how much of a blorbo he is to me…💔 

I also refer to the demon with he/it pronouns, just a heads up bc I don’t want to cause confusion with the pronoun switching. (Woke demon?!?!😨😨/silly,, I don’t think Pamorrgus gives a damn about pronouns and all that stuff,,, not his problem man. It’s got better things to worry about like getting a meal that day or 100% not being gay about some guy LMAO😭😭… You could technically use any pronouns for this guy,,, it just does not care.)

Basic “summary”(its really long):

Pamorrgus wanders to wherever there’s tragedy/disaster/suffering. If there is no human suffering near by, he’ll make something happen. Demons feed off of emotions, primarily on the negative side. Yes, Pamorrgus tells its victims to harm others for its own amusement, but the pain and distress of humans is also how he sustains itself. The earth is indeed hungry!!

After the events of Postal 1, Pamorrgus feeds off of the town’s anguish and grief. This lasts around maybe 10 years or so. Throughout the years, most people that been around during the game’s events have moved on from the event, moved out of town, or just passed away. The town’s grief declines little by little, and the demon’s power is weakening. Around 2003, Postal 2 Dude moves into town. Pamorrgus watches him from afar, not interfering with his life. Unlike with P1 dude, P2 doesn’t need any encouragement in order to start slaughtering people, the town is already driving him mad, so there’s really no need for the demon to interact with him. Pamorrgus just sits back as hell breaks lose. 

After Paradise got blown up and p2 dude gets the hell out of there,,,, the demon wanders into Catharsis and hides itself inside the walls of an apartment building, hibernating to digest its meal. (they’re more like depression naps to me😭😭 but sure boy go sleep). 8 years later, P3 dude finds himself in Catharsis and stays in the same apartment room that the demon is currently inhabiting. (uhhhghh,,,,,, i still don’t know how the freak p3 exists man😭,, you now understand my warning about this being not very well thought out.. But he ends up in Catharsis at some point!) ((Also ignore the fact that P3 dude probably wouldn’t have enough money to get an apartment or something,, since the whole goal of the game is to get money for a tank of gas,,, which is expensive… The economy is not doing good 😭😭…. My excuse is,,, like,,,, look that game start up menu screen gotta take place somewhere!! Idk man😭😭lol). Pamorrgus wakes up to discover that P3 is living in its current place of residence, and starts watching over him to learn more information about him and to figure out how to convince him to do what it wants. In the au, I think the dude leans more to the good path version, so the demon has some convincing to do.🫢

And then they properly interact at some point then later yaoi happens somehow,,, and like😭 SCARY!YAOI!!!!

Or something,,,,, Waow….. don’t really know how to properly explain the development of their relationship….🧚 I imagine Pamorrgus is pretty distant at first,,,, with every one of its victims, it likes to have some level of distance. Like yes, he has to get its victims to trust it and be (somewhat) comfortable around him (sometimes,, comfortability is not required lol) in order to get what it wants, but forming any attachments to a victim is like,, gonna make things complicated and might get in the way of his goal,, yk? This never really was a problem for Pamorrgus before though (not like he has to worry about some freaky bisexual weirdo… Haha right guys? Imagine if that happened? Just crazy mate, crazy!),, this guy does not care about humans. I imagine that before his fall from heaven, he used to be a guardian angel! He’s probably sick of humans after having to take care of them for years and years. Although… I don’t think he really liked humans to begin with,,, but he never expressed this until his fall… (He’s like Patrick Bateman the way he pretended to be some normal ceo guy or something,,, ((and the way he denies the fact that he’s gay—COUGH🗣COUGH🗣)) idk I never watched or read american psycho I’ve only watched a yt analysis on it!!😭😭)

He eventually warms up more to P3 dude,, (since dude just can’t stop yapping😭 and the demon is kinda bored and wants to get more information on him.) but only by a little bit… It’s gonna take a while for the demon to see him as an equal. Pamorrgus sees P3 just as a pawn to take control of. Sigh….. soon the gay microchip will be planted into his mind…

I imagine their banter would be very entertaining to listen to,,,,,, sometimes the demon will say some edgy poetic nonsense similar to the p1 loading screens and P3’s like “oh shit fr😮🤨😏?”😭😭😭😭😭 tho most of the time the demon just talks like the regular p1 voice lines when around P3,,,, these guys just go around saying the most stupidest crap imaginable to each other while they blast peoples heads off.💕 Sillymaxxing joyous pilled…. Gross!!🤢blehhgh!!!!! I also think Pamorrgus can be so mean to him sometimes,,,😭😭 it can get really sarcastic and petty if P3 dude doesn’t do something it wants.. Dude don’t give af though ,, he just keeps annoying it back. They do become slightly nicer to each other later on.

I’m not quite sure when they will realize that they have fallen for each other, but I know the denial would be crazy😭……. Pamorrgus got his whole “humanity means nothing to me lmao” sigma grindset going on,,, so it would be pretty pissed about this new development… Absolutely not happy about it. He’s screaming and breaking chairs and mauling people over that man. And around this time I don’t think P3 dude has accepted the fact that he’s probably bisexual. (Sighs really loudly…..) What’s up with these guys?

Anyway some off topic stuff,,,, related to the drawing on the right,,,,,, for some reason I keep getting this visual of the demon pulling guns out of the apartment’s walls,,, how did you fit all those in there??

i made this powerpoint in two sittings across 2 days, each sitting about 8-12 hours long

So - yeah, the ultimate Toxic yaoi - Megatron and Starscream. I've always been so into their dynamic and how truly dysfunctional-destructive they can be to one another. But something is clear, and thanks to the Earthspark series for bringing up that topic - there has always been a power imbalance with the two of them, being Megatron the last one to truly give the final punches to the seeker and more than that; and for Starscream (both fairly and unfairly) having his trauma and situation invalidated by others.

Like, I saw a video on youtube that analized the whole episode where Starscream gets to interact (and connect) with Hashtag, and I was dead ass when the guy on the video pointed out how Starscream kept seein the Decepticon's mark on Megatron even when it was long gone and replaced by G.H.O.S.T's insigna and that it would always appear whenever Megatron was beating him in the fights.

And you can see Starscream's fear. And you can see his fear in any other variation of his - Starscream's behaviour comes from constant abuse and his taken 'hurt others if you want to survive' ideas.

And of course, not only is Starscream the one suffering. Megatron is also suffering - my man over here trying to change after realizing he has been doing things wrong, but things are so complicated and you can see he gets hurt each time he gets called traitor and such.

VY2 represents perfectly Megatron's point of view, while VY1 could be Starscream.

"Don't come near, don't come here. Don't let it get you so excited - don't pay it any mind. Just stop shouting your head off. Go away, go away, yes - I'll be gone into thin air soon enough, so feign normalcy, and put up with it." - Starscream's taking his leave - "Nowhere is safe if it's with you."

"Oh, it hurt, the pain's so bad. Why does it hurt so bad as this? Ah, I want to tell you how much it hurts. I want you to be the only one to know. Oh, it's awful, so very awful. Why does it feel so bad as this? I want you, it's you I want. The pain is right here in my chest..." - potential "Megatron realizing he loved Starscream but both had become toxic and he has partaken the abuser's role more than nothing."

And now take the minute 1:50 to the very end of the video - a sparkbreaking where Megatron realizes about everything, but it is overwhelming. And thinking when Starscream leaves that pain in his chest is going to leave - Starscream is free, free from the abuse he has inflicted on him for so long, therefore, he will be free to... then why does it hurt so much? Why hasn't the pain left?

After all, both have been hurting for a very hurtful pain.

Jason Mamoa x Jack Black Yaoi wasn't enough to save this shit script, unfortunately

I knew this movie was going to be bad, but I expected it to be watchable Instead I got a poorly paced and edited movie There's a scene where the sister character is complaining to Steve about how her brother needs to be less creative and suddenly it's revealed that the brother was literally behind Steve that whole time? Like he wasn't hidden behind something or behind her He was just outside the view of the camera

The characters are barely characters and despite what the movie would like you to believe, they have no character arcs Garrett is only "fun" because Jason Mamoa is a good actor, other than that the character barely does anything likeable and his character arc is just him feeling bad and being nice then at the end he seemingly moves on from his past despite nothing about the movie making him learn to do that Also Henry is constantly doing the same annoying puppy dog face and barely speaking

Also this misogynistic ass movie had the two girls separate from the group and then do so little to affect the plot that I don't even remember their names

Also this movie is deeply unfunny Not even Jason Mamoa manages to get a laugh with these jokes The funniest thing in the movie was the side-plot about the villager going into the real world and fucking that old woman, but even then I didn't laugh at it, I just smiled and thought "That's funny."

I liked the little Technoblade respect scene, but it's clear that that was just a heartfelt add-on to this soulless movie

I can't believe I gave my money to this movie because I thought it would be fun to make fun of The sequel is inevitable and that brings me fear

It didn't take long to reach the talent show location, he had left in the morning and by evening he had already arrived at the appointed place. Queen showed the registration and...

The show began and the artists performed one by one... There were exceptional singers, others terrible... but none had an enviable body like Queen's... time passed and now it was almost time for the turn of the Pirate Superstar of the Hundred Beasts and when the presenter called his name...

All the pirates: FOR QUEEN!!! (They raised their glasses to the sky in a happy toast and then danced in celebration of the victory)

King: GH! (He turned towards the noise, sensing the enthusiasm of the pirates still in the square... had that "Queen" really won? He couldn't believe it) Oh my God (He put a hand to his forehead, sensing the discomfort that that victory would bring) And that was it! (He didn't want to face that situation and who knows how much confusion would be created when that bastard returned to Wano... But there was another thing that was troubling him: the mere thought that that might not be the real Queen, scared him... was it possible that only he had that damned doubt? Kamiya's struggle with his theriomorphosis actually feels like perfect representation of a neurodivergent (including other branching disabilities) or mentally unwell (trauma or disorder caused) person in a relationship. He was born with genetic traits that he never knew would show up negatively until one day it all comes rushing out and he has to deal with it in his life now. He already was discriminated against because of his size and appearance. Now he has another physical burden add to his complex of not wanting to hurt another.

He doesn't/can't "love like others" (a common experience for people in the aforementioned categories), expresses his sexuality/sexual desires in a way that is seen outside the norm (another common experience whether that be asexuality, kink, or inability to obtain a partner in a way people think you should), has instincts that make him naturally act peculiar (see how ND people ticc or stim, how people with trauma have behaviors that stem from their past, and how people with a disorder may have habits to manage their life but do not align with how others live "normally"), sees himself as a monster/danger (ND people often are called such things or internalize those words, people with trauma see patterns of their abusers in themselves and spiral, people with disorders feel less than or not even human), is constantly repressing his nature in order to protect others and has to work even harder to mask with the person he loves (masking). He cannot exist without his mask, but he cannot stay healthy inside of it, and those facts are killing him.

Warning for aspiring readers: Kamikudaite Ai wo Oshiete is a yaoi and has multiple sex scenes throughout it. Sexuality and childbirth are important topics within the story. He has a muscular physique and is short compared to majority of people apart from MC who is the same height as him - if not slightly taller.

We inevitably cross paths one day when YC’s cousin (not blood related) is dragged along to MC’s place of work for a confidential meeting. YC’s cousin orders MC to look after you whilst he goes off to do yakuza business. YC is disgusted by MC purely for his job and his over sexual nature.

To add to this: AO3's tagging system is significantly more sophisticated than Wattpads, and it might be harder to grasp at first. Thats okay! Here's a little primer (and you can ask questions or read the FAQ whenever you want)

Okay so:

The only mandatory tags on AO3 are:

The Rating: What general age range it is written for. This is where a reader can check quickly how graphic a fic is going to be, so its important to be honest.

(G)eneral Audiences is rated for most everyone.

(T)eens is for 13+.

(M)ature means that it contains non-graphic adult content

(E)xplicit means it contains graphic adult content.

The line between M and E is a hot topic of debate: you will find porn and violence in both in varying degrees of on-screen visuals. Generally speaking, I like to think M ends before the pants come off and E keeps going, but your mileage may vary.

Finally, Unrated is for people who opt out of defining this. This means an Unrated fic could be any rating, and if youre not okay with getting surprise Explicit content maybe dont chance it. This is useful for writers who arent sure where their fic actually falls, and dont wanna mistag their work, or who wanna write oldschool style and not give away any surprises

The Archive Warnings: OP told you about these above but I'll mention them again: They are:

They're organized just like that in Alphabetical order as a multiple choice list. You have to tick off at least one, and you can tick off as many as are necessary. Remember that "No Warnings Apply" means none of the archive warnings are relevant to the fic, and "Chose Not to Warn" means any of them could be but there is no guarantee.

The Fandom Tag: what source material, be it a show, comic, boyband, book, or ancient Mesopotamian poem, goes here.

The Work Title: You have to name your fic something

Language: AO3 is open to all cultures and backgrounds, so it hosts works in a lot of different languages. You have to tag what language your fic is written in.

After that, the tags are optional, but they are very very useful, and I'll explain some more!

OPTIONAL TAGS!!

The Category tags are also multiple choice style, and these are where you tell readers what kind of Ships are in your fic:

F/F :: female/female, lesbian, yuri, however your circle talks about women in a romantic or sexual relationship with other women

F/M :: hetero romantic or sexual relationships

Gen :: no prominent romantic or sexual, or at least none that are the main focus of the work

M/M :: male/male, gay, yaoi, however your circle talks about men in a romantic or sexual relationship with other men

Multi :: "More than one kind of relationship, or a relationship with multiple partners"

Other :: it's literally defined as "other" relationships. your mileage may vary

Lastly we have the Longform Tags! (These are my favorite).

Although users can generally write these out however they want, AO3 will "wrangle" them (re: sort and relate them to) a searchable tag with a specific syntax. I'll talk about them only in relation to their AO3 standardized syntax, since thats how they get Auto-suggested when made filterable.

Characters tags are where the canonical name of the character from the Fandom goes. Some characters may only have one name (like "Mario (Nintendo)") while others may have a first and last name (like "Cloud Strife"). Some may have fandom suffix appended to them to disambiguate them (like "Burgerpants (Undertale)") and some may not. Some may have a pipe separating two equally important names in canon (like "Zelda | Sheik").

Relationship Tags are tags where you define what characters are in what relationship with other characters. They are written in alphabetical order of character name, first by the character's last name, then their first name, as one would write them in the Character Tag field.

A relationship can be written with either a slash (/) or an ampersand (&), and these mean different things. / means that it is a romantic or sexual relationship and & means it is platonic or familial. Therefore: "Sokka & Zuko (Avatar)" means that Sokka and Zuko are in a platonic or familial relationship with each other, and "Sokka/Zuko (Avatar)" means that Sokka and Zuko are in a romantic or sexual relationship. This makes them very different tags in term of content indication.

3+ characters in a single relationship tag is quite common and appreciated! However, it is AO3 standard for relationship tags to only contain one kind of relationship sign, either all / or all &. It would be standard-noncompliant to tag "Aang & Sokka/Zuko (Avatar)". For such complex relationship dynamics, multiple ship tags are recommended [such as: "Aang & Sokka & Zuko (Avatar), Sokka/Zuko (Avatar)"]

Additional Tags (aka Freeform Tags) are the most varied! This is where tropes, detailed content warnings, kinks, Alternate Universe tags, and everything else goes. Once you get to the Additional Tags, you have to get to know your fandom to see what tags look like. Every fandom has fandom-specific tags and it is a lot of fun to figure out what tags end up being prevalent in yours <3

Alright, to ao3's soon to be arriving Wattpad Refugees, a basic guide to general user culture:

1.) Unlike Wattpads vote system that let's you like each chapter, the ao3 equivalent kudos only allows one per work. Everyone is generally quietly annoyed about this. To engage with each chapter, you're heavily encouraged to comment. Trust me, it makes people's day.

2.) Ao3 has no algorithm. By default it's latest updated work first. You can find things to your taste through searches, filters and tags.

3.) 'No archive warnings apply' and 'user has chosen not to use archive warnings' mean two very different things. No archives warnings means the work is free from any content that could require a warning tag (character death, graphic depictions of violence, non-con, etc). User has chosen not to use archive warnings means it could contain any of the warning content, be it hasn't been explicitly tagged. Treat it like an allergen. No archive warnings apply is allergen free. User has chosen not to use archive warnings, may contain traces or whole chunks of the allergen. If you're likely to have a bad reaction, maybe don't take the risk.

4.) Speaking of warnings, ao3 has very few restrictions on the type of work that's allowed. Whatever your personal thoughts or feelings on that are, thats how the site is. You're likely to run across some dark subject matters and a lot of people are uncomfortable with reading that. You're well within your rights not like these works and have your opinion on whether they should be allowed, but harassing the authors of such works (or any works) is more likely to come back on you than them. Ao3 operates on a strong policy of 'don't like, don't read'. Use the tagging system to your full advantage to only engage with the kind of works you want to see.
