In this AU the relationships between characters on Earth C (BEFORE THE SINGULARITY) are a bit different from the canon.

SOME EXPLAINATIONS:

Roxy and Rose are in very good terms. After the game, they started passing A LOT of time together; venting, talking, joking, etc. They call each other "mom/daughter" depending on the day.

Calliope is in good terms with Jane, although they don't pass much time together. On the other hand Calliope and Roxy pass A LOT of time together, mostly due their work [I'll explain in the post about babies and jobs (link, when I'll do it)].

Calliope and John too are friends, but John is a bit stressed around her, since she doesn't always do a good job (often).

The relationship between the Beta Kids is more or so the same as it was before meteorstuck, but they talk and see each other much less than before (except for Dave and Jade cuz they're married).

Karkat retired since they arrived to Earth C. After 5-6 years of normalcy, he stopped talking to basically everyone, except for John and Jade (who he talks to rarely) and once he tried to talk to Kanaya (but she didn't pick up the phone, so Karkat stopped).

NOTE: About Karkat and Terezi, I'll explain in another post dedicated to Terezi :) for now she's not even on Earth C (link, when I'll do the post).

Dirk tried multiple times to contact/have something with Dave, but Dave is scared that he might be just like his Bro, and doesn't even want to try to be a family.

John envys Jane because she has a father. John doesn't make it obvious though, in fact Jane thinks they're in good terms.

(edit: gamzee and kurloz are actually cousins! i thought it’d be more fun to change some of the familial relations rather than have them all be the same. so, you’ll see some of them be siblings, but others cousins, and the like.)

ALPHA KIDS: Draw your best friends!

DIRK: I'd say I'm better at one on one character interaction work of the more intimate variety, but I think this piece came together nicely. DIRK: Fun for the whole family style wholesomeness, any motherfucker in the radius of a screen displaying this image will instantly get hit with a sore case of heartburn and their tear ducts will clock in overtime at the weeping factory.

ROXY: im so proud of these i think these are my best designs yet :3 but omg dirk callie and jake were SOOO peculiar about their damn designs over my shoulder. jake wanted me to clarify that even in pink pen form his little guy is BLUE. so there. sigh this is the one occasion they could take notes from janey.. JUST LET LE ARTIST WORK!

JANE: Boy! I don't draw often but I always was fond of calligraphy growing up. I was kind of inspired by all of the other's works, but especially Calliope's swirls she puts in her art. It's very fun to add!

JAKE: Im not quite the best with posing, but i find the head very fun to study! Especially skulls.. so good ole calliope makes for the perfect muse! (hehe)

CALLIOPE: i realized i hadn't ever made a piece with Us in the same place at once. u_u CALLIOPE: bUt since it's reality now here's all of Us together, United at last! ^u^
