im in disbelief at the fact that a lot of folks are simply over palestine. like protests are dwindling down. people are not very interested in news related to gaza. some are simply over it.

israel hasn't let aid in gaza in 70 days. gaza has been starving for 70 days. the condition of people there is horrendous.

i find it distressing to think about children in gaza. how does one continue to have a childhood in a genocide? they don't have school. they don't have safety. they don't have food.

despite all this, the kids will be alright. they'll be alright once the genocide stops and they get back to 'normal'. till then, can we please try to support them however we can?

First time drawing Ichigo!

This is a present for @mirrorcatcreditcard, who seems to have our strawberry Shinigami as their favourite character!

Took me long to get him right because, while the pose you see here was inspired entirely by a photo of mine, at the same time... Well... I do not have the same kind of muscles Ichigo has, being a cis guy, so I had to use stock photos of guys with naked chests to understand how to make his arm muscles as accurate as possible. The face was done with Manga panels and art by Kubo as reference, as is often typical for me lol.

This might be weird/random, but I think it was your blog where I once saw a post about using different words than the ones for marginalized mental illnesses. But I can't find it. So, uhm, not to use you as a dictionary, but (if you can't find that post) do you remember the replacement word for "delusional"? I just realized I use that word often in my speech and have been trying to stop/reverse it, but fandom life hasn't made that easy 😅

Honestly, if you're a kid and an adult tells you "they're just trying to get a reaction out of you :)" as a response to being told that some younger kid is tormenting you, that should count as full permission to punt that little shit. Like I would never hit a child, but if you're seven years old and a five-year-old is being a cunt at you and adults just tell you "oh they just want to find out what happens if they keep doing that", wouldn't only be fair to let them know what happens if they keep doing that?

Siblings should never be left responsible of raising each other, but if adults have decided that they are allowed to fuck around, wouldn't it only be your right - or even downright duty - to let them consequently find out?

Chuuya decides to bring up the topic since Nikolai's suddenly gone shy, "Hey, firework, I know you hate when we argue, so we solved the issue." Kudamono looks unimpressed, but pineapple always has that expression whenever they bring something up. "Custody," Nikolai supplies helpfully. "Am I staying with one parent for half of a year then?" "No, Nikolai's pregnant now," the mafioso explains, "You're getting a little sibling." The unimpressed look turns to judgment, scorn. There's an anger the two have only seen turned upon the scientists in that expression. Nikolai rushes to explain, "We're not trying to replace you. We just figured that if one of us always had a kid, we'd stop fussing about it. I know you get stressed when we're–" Shea throws a cup of liquid at the two of them but stops it millimeters away from his lailia. The younger man does not get the same mercy and receives the fruit mixture's splatter. "MY CODE 100100 MEANS 36 IN NORMAL NUMBERS, YOU STICKY ASS GROWN-UPS. I HAVE 35 OLDER SIBLINGS FROM YOU TWO, HALF OF WHICH ARE DEAD. YOU COULD'VE ASKED," they grit their teeth, "faggots." The adults don't know whether to be more shocked from the ire, the now clicking information, or the fact their child who never socializes with anyone but apples adopted siblings knows queer slurs. "We have what?"

Snippet from my Lab AU

Some backstory/summary: While I'm letting silly ship things happen and making these two gay, 100100 is fretting about the siblings shea knows shea has scattered around. It all blows up in feels when "Lailai" (Nikolai) and "Nana" (Chuuya) announce they're having a kid because they didn't really realize that the "disposed children" that Kudamono lamented about before meant that the kiddos could still be alive, and they didn't think to ask the 7~9 year old. Also, the kid uses the word as a way of saying "you guys only did something so stupid because you were busy being homosexual." (Fruit vaguely understands sexual attraction and mostly connects it with people doing uncharacteristic things because of their reproductive organs... scientific ah understanding due to strawberrys upbringing)
