Tuff Guys try SO hard to be all "we're not a team" and "we'll be together when it's convenient" and "it's really everyone by themselves" but then they'll have a collective mace that goes around, and they'll help each other get kills even when it's hopeless, and they turned all their attention into helping each other when one of them went under green, and they still have team meetings every start of session, and they still decided to pool their resources, and they still have a collective calling card, and in the beginning of session 7 Bdubs still says, "I know what I want, Tango knows what he wants, now what do you want?" and it's framed as a question about kills but it's not, not really, and Etho still doesn't really answer.

They say they're not a team, but they still call Etho a traitor as though you can betray something that apparently doesn't exist. They say they don't care, but Tango still tells Ren "Not gonna lie, I was going to get kinda sad that Bdubs was trying to kill me, but it's just you." (paraphrased, but still). There's that part when Tango and Bdubs are talking and they both come to the conclusion Tango can't trust him, and the thing is, Bdubs could have lied. He could have said sure you can, but he knows Tango knows because they know each other enough, because they've been a team enough times, because they are a team and that's what he'd've done.

Tuff Guys went into the alliance fully vocal about how it wouldn't work. This never leads good places for them. They're doing it anyway. They'll never admit it, not directly, not loud and clear, because it's hurt them enough times as is, but they still live next to each other and they still coordinated team attacks in session 7 and they still haven't committed to real distrust among them

All this to say that denial is a river and egypt and by god they are DIVING

Guys absolute banger thought just dropped. Everyone knows the famous Minyard-Josten rivalry, hyphenated exactly like that. Imagine waking up one morning to see Minyard-Josten trending as a term everywhere and you think they're up to their antics again and you click to see what it is this time. But the first thing you see is an article titled 'Neil and Andrew Minyard-Josten married in surprise ceremony, spotted with rings on at DMV getting names legally changed' and everyone is going absolutely insane

A Prey mindset is dangerous

Fanfic prompt : Honestly if we look very roughly at predator and prey mindset

A thing that is quick to see is that a predator has a completely different approach on life then prey

For example a wolf simply has a be discouraged from seeing anything as a meal

A predator will give up and retreat if they think the fight isn’t worth it

A predator will often have fights with others of its species to show it is the strongest

Those fights usually are not necessary lethal

As the predator wants to make a point and get the other to respect it

Which makes me think that if Twilight gets beaten he would leave and retreat from the fight (like any normal person because humans are also in a predator mindset we would rather dip when possible and skip out on a meal those instincts still persist even when we don’t hunt for our food anymore and I like to believe that hyrulians do the same)

Prey on the other hand is fucking insane

Those hyper vigilant things bolt if you even have the audacity to hold eye contact for a second

Listening in on any and all sounds even when asleep

Zigzagging and cutting corners ,back tracking and running in circles to dip

They are prioritizing their own survival differently then a predator

And Legend as a rabbit probably has a prey mindset off bolting

But as a hylian who is much bigger

Having a prey mindset as a bigger thing

Is how a moose decides to throw hands and trample you too death

A bull rams you

and a hog decides to straight up rip you too shreds

Bigger prey animals fight for their survival and if they can’t leave they will prioritize neutralizing the thing they perceive as a threat

At any cost and go back for more if you are still moving after the first round

They don’t stop and don’t leave because they are not fighting for a meal they are fighting for their lives

Making them highly unpredictable

Which makes me think that any fighting Legend chooses to participate in is something he decides will only end with his or his enemies dead

And he has to be dragged out a fight by several members of the chain carrying him

Because in link to the past you could technically avoid the guards most times, hamburger with lettuce snake had a bridge that lets you go back after you fall off the platform

So almost every single fight was a conscious decision to go throw hands with stuff instead of bolting away

But also the chain pranking ledge and he bolts away would be funny until they block the exist and he charges them like a bull

Then they start screaming

Even funnier would be if they are all sleeping someone tries to inconspicuously leave to do something (they probably shouldn’t)

And legend wakes up in the manner of a dark soul's boss catching them Immediately

because he is aware of his surroundings even when asleep

When it comes to vigilance nobody can beat ledge

Because he is always stressed as hell
