At first I thought this was going to be a Tenko situation - like this lady’s a woman living her life but just so happens to be an Ayakashi, so when her secret’s found out she takes action to protect herself…

I thought this must be her accepting the situation in a sort of “I know how this song and dance goes”, kill or be killed viewpoint you know?

Turns out she’s just possessed, which is good for Nanoka since there’s possibly something she can do about it without murdering anyone/thing - and Nanoka does need more experience in the exorcising side of things - but I still think it’s a shame.
Having this be a friendly Ayakashi who feels pushed to violence would be an interesting morale quandary for Nanoka. From an outside perspective, all we really know about this woman is that she likes omnoming rats. Who’s to say Tenko isn’t doing the same on her downtime? If she was accidentally found out by ordinary people, would she also feel pressured to erase the evidence and continue her peaceful life?
In the end, it all comes back to me wanting More Tenko ;^;

I'm quite curious about Chiko, can I have some facts about her?
Absolutely, she’s my favourite tall woman 😋
• She’s got a deep hatred towards men due to how they’ve all acted towards her- being a waitress meant having to deal with constantly being cat called, harassed, commented on in a very .. explicit manner, and yelled at once she turned said men down. He dad isn’t much help either because he’s not a great guy at All
•Her whole design was inspired off of squashies (a sweet/candy). More specifically, the sour Cherry and apple flavour

(I was hungry at the time)
• She quite literally worked at a restaurant for gangs. Like I’m not even kidding, she would serve gang members. That was the whole point of the restaurant- a secret place for gangs to eat food. Like genuinely. My girl even served Yazkuzas before. She befriended a lot of gang members somehow.
• She enjoys playing indie horror games, car rides and binge watching horror movies (she’s a fan of horror if that’s not clear by now)- she doesn’t like men (obviously), soda, dirty jokes and anything explicit as a whole.
• I wanted to make her a more civil (?) version of Tenko, mostly because Tenko annoyed me a lot. She doesn’t call the guys in her class degenerate males or anything like that, but the way she treats the girls vs how she treats the boys is very different- she’s very rude towards the guys. Apart from Yasuyuki, though. Since Yasuyuki is a child she isn’t as rude to him. - she’s rude in a passive aggressive way though.
• She didn’t feel any remorse for killing Caleb but felt remorse when she killed Kellise.
• The reason WHY she killed them two was because quite frankly, she was a bit scared of them. She’s got really bad trauma from being commanded to do things , because the stuff that used to be commanded of her wasn’t really.. okay. So after the second trial, when Caleb and Kellise took control of everyone and kept things in a certain way so nobody could be hurt/killed, they became very commanding- obviously, not because they were trying to be horrible or rude, but because they wanted to keep everyone safe and didn’t want any more deaths to occur. She couldn’t take it anymore and ended up murdering the both of them.
• She was best friends before Miyu before she got .. dollified. Miyu used to insist that Matsunari should be in a vlog/video at some point but Matsunari would constantly deny because she was worried of creeps on the internet. She also doesn’t post any pictures of herself on any social media accounts.
• She has NO idea on how to act around Zaien, she avoids them for the most part.
• She knows how to play guitar!
That’s all.. she’s a silly girl ,really. I was originally gonna make her shy but I changed it so she’s not so much as confident but chill.

While realistically only a minute or two had passed since this conversation had begun, it felt like a million years had passed. Especially as the man was clearly beginning to get impatient. The only reason he had not acted was due to being in public. It seemed like this would all be decided in the next few minutes. However, the big change that would shift the situation came from an unexpected source.
"Could I get you anything, sir?" A waitress approached the yakuza man. She had no idea what was going on, and so thought this was but another customer. In that moment, Tenko saw a possible chance. If the man turned his back... the aikido master might be able to do a strike to the man from behind. But only if he proved to be a danger. If the yakuza man decided to cut his losses for the time being, then that would also be a good solution to the issue.
@despairs-blade
It had been a little over half a year since Tenko and Peko retreated to the Japanese countryside and began their new lives. They had been wished to retreat from the world at large. Currently, Tenko was sitting in a rocking chair, holding her little Reiki in her arms. The little girl had been rather fussy today, and Tenko was doing her besto to get her to calm down.

🤚The Second Worst (Pt. 1/?)🤚

Part 2 of my Shigaraki Thesis Headcanons. HC's // The Second Worst: 1 - 2
The half-mad ghost of Shimura Tenko is in love with you, and your life is about to become a tragic wreck. -- AKA here's when I gave up on bullet points and went off the fuckin rails
I'm self-conscious about writing so much, so uhhhh, please be kind, hahaaa. This is rather long and involved. Are these still even HCs or just a self-indulgent AU outline? There are some mysteries we may never solve.
This is on AO3 now, if you prefer reading there. Anyway. Minors do not interact.
- - - - -
You met Tenko before the League existed.
Believe it or not, there are a million ways it might have happened, but in the end: you were both bargain-binning in Akihabara.
You reached for a copy of a collectible bullet-hell cute-'em-up (near-mint! CIB!!!) and accidentally bonked hands with a complete stranger. He flinched about five million feet away from you. Ouch. You're just a nobody, quirkless and average, but you didn't think you were THAT repulsive.
(You're not. Hell, even if you were, this guy couldn't care less. He barely registers that you have a face.)
(Shigaraki is accustomed to getting in and out of this shop in seconds. He always comes in before anyone else and goes straight home. -- Is that really home? Is 'home' a real place? -- ANYWAY he's already pirated this shit, god, why does he even care? He doesn't need to be here. Father doesn't like it. Is that why he's here? Just to do something Father doesn't like? That's pathetic.)
He's had at least ten complete internal arguments with himself before he so much as looks at you.
You know in the tenth of a second he actually meets your eyes... this fucker is going to fight you to the death over this game.
- - - The death match ends in a draw. He was not expecting you to know the first fucking thing about this game. Nobody knows about it, even in Japan. Who the fuck do you even think you are? Oh, no, he's still taking it. But... maybe he can show you how to play it it. He'll give you a little taste, just to make you jealous. He's got his hoodie pulled down like he's going to commit an act of terrorism. What little you can see of his face looks twitchy and messed up. If you have any survival instincts at all, they're kicking in right about now. But... why not. You're not going anywhere with this dude unsupervised, so you suggest a crowded web cafe down the street. The cafe has the necessary console... but the retro gaming booth is laughably small. The TV is about four inches across and you end up having to practically sit in his lap. You were sure this guy was a nasty fucking creep, but he's................ only mostly terrible. Way too angry, for sure. Has no idea how to have a normal, friendly conversation. Inadvertently insults you every other sentence and seems to have a deep-seated persecution complex.
You'd prefer to be mad about the awful company, but... he's obviously deprived of human contact. When it's established that you two share a lot of media fixations, he calms down and starts treating you a little more like a human being. Or at least like a fellow elite.
Wherever he came from, he doesn't seem to want to go back. He keeps pushing you to play one more level, pretending he wants to beat your score. You feel kinda bad for him. You get the distinct feeling that his life is a disaster. He looks like he's never had a full night of sleep in his life. He trips your trigger hairs in that 'is he gonna follow me home?' kind of way, but... up close, he's a lot more depressing than scary. At the very least, you want to buy him a stupidly cute dessert. Just... as thanks. For letting you try out the game and stuff. It's not a big deal, so just pick a flavor, okay? The world isn't actually that awful, y'know.
It's not even that impressive... Definitely not a great cafe. But he takes practically a full hour to eat a single slice of strawberry cake.
When the hoodie comes down. He's all shriveled and dried out, like someone left him him in the desert to die. He chews on his peeling bottom lip and nervously scratches his neck. He doesn't thank you for the cake. Which is fine. It's not a big deal. Actually, you wish he would eat faster; you feel weirdly responsible for him now.
Under all that mess he's... gorgeous? His hair is stunning: a bright, gleaming silver that catches the light. His bone structure is flawless. If it weren't for all the scars and the misanthropic slouch, he'd look like a fairy fucking prince.
You were not prepared for that. In another life he could have been a model, the type of guy who would never even look at you. But something bad happened to him. Something... very bad. Do you even want to know? You have no idea how to ask. Has anyone ever been nice to him? It doesn't seem like it. Should YOU be nice to him? You sort of want to try. - - - This becomes a regular thing. This weird little secret. You should probably tell someone when you see him, just in case you don't come back one day, but you say nothing; how the hell would you explain why you want to see him so bad? You don't know his full name. Maybe he's on a watch list. When he gives you a long string of random numbers so you can schedule meet-ups (is THAT his e-mail, really?) he tells you to just... call him Tenko. Or whatever. It doesn't matter. (He sneaks out when Father is deep in his plots. As long as he comes home on time, it doesn't really matter where he goes, right?) He brings a different game every time. He has an insane collection. Where does he get the money for all this? You know he doesn't work. God, is it drugs? It's probably drugs. Wherever these hidden gems came from, he proudly shows them off to you, like he's never had an audience before. It's sort of cringe-inducing, the way he one-ups and rubs every little victory in your face, desperate for attention.
But at the same time, you are becoming too... something...to mind. Do you... like him? He's not funny, but he thinks you are. His mouth is huge when he laughs. He seems to hate everyone but you, and you've had to earn the distinction of being merely tolerable. Still, he gets really excited about random shit like the garage kit black market and haunted dolls and the price of weed on the dark web.
And... strawberry cake. The realization hits you both at the same time when the waitress brings one piece with two forks. God, what the fuck, are you... are you dating? Quick, think. You look forward to seeing him, and don't even mind sitting close to him anymore. Sometimes you push your leg up against him just to see if he'll still flinch away... and he doesn't.
You jealously notice the way he touches everything but you: with delicate precision, one finger at a time. His large, elegant hands always have a pinky up like he's aspiring for a fiefdom, and you wonder what his skin feels like. You go home and dwell on the way he plucks flowering weeds out of the pavement in front of the cafe. The way he stands rooted to the spot as you leave, just... looking at nothing, unsmiling.
You watch his lips too much, and not just because you want to buy him chapstick. You catch him gaping at you all the time. You thought he was just creepy like that, but maybe... Yeah. I guess you are dating him. Shit. - - - Okay, so, yeah. Bringing him back to your place was definitely a bad idea. You know you shouldn't trust him, even if he is... apparently... your boyfriend? Sort of? You still don't have his phone number. So. Um. What now? You order overpriced pizza and queue up a campy horror movie. What the fuck are you even doing. You don't really think he's going to murder you anymore, but... still. Is the suburban massacre scene gonna give him ideas? Turns out, no. He doesn't like gore, even when the blood is neon pink. He gets upset. Like, really upset. Shaky and green, like he might puke on you. He can't stop scratching that scaly spot on his neck.
Tenko, are you crying? Fucking hell, did you just trigger him? Of course he has a traumatic past, it's carved all over his face. You're so fucking stupid. You don't know how to make it right. You want to hug him, kiss him... anything. But he's never really touched you, and you're too afraid to push now. It ruins the whole night. He leaves without explaining anything. Doesn't even say goodbye. He just. Leaves. Maybe you'll never see him again. Maybe that's for the best. Your chest hurts. - - - He shows up at your door a few weeks later. You haven't heard from him since that disastrous movie night. You had pretty much accepted that you'd broken up with a boyfriend you never actually had. But no. Apparently not.
This time, he’s brought his own entertainment. He's holding a boxed set of some show you're not familiar with. You're distracted by these weird little half-gloves he's wearing, like a cyberpunk hacker. That's a new look, and even if it's a bit edgelord adjacent, he makes it look cool. You tell him as much. It's the first time you've let on how attractive you find him. He's wearing a tight black shirt with a deep, deep V-neck. That's distracting too.
He clears his slender throat and doesn't look at you.
You try to apologize for before, but he's acting like it never happened. What are you even talking about? Have you seen this OVA or not? Get out of the way and let him in already. You've watched three episodes now, but you still have no idea what this stupid anime is about. You can't pay attention to a single frame. All you can think about is how his arm has crept up behind your shoulders. A few inches more and he'll be holding you. Does he... want to hold you? You lean toward him so slowly your spine creaks. One molecule at a time. After a thousand years, your head slides nervously under his chin. His arm comes down, locking you in, fingers clutching your sleeve in a death grip. Even that snobby little pinky. His head tucks down into you hair. A sharp collarbone bites into your cheek. His heartbeat is hard, fast, and irregular. There's not a scrap of fat on him, and as you wrap your arm around his stomach, you think you see a twitch in his pants. Is that just you being desperate? Or... hopeful? This is really happening. --- Soon, you learn that Tenko is a clumsy kisser. It doesn't matter; the fact that he's kissing you at all is good enough for now. His lips are dry, but not half as dry as you expected. There's a slick of menthol helping things along; he's been using something medicated on his lips. Plus, his mouth tastes like he drank a gallon of mouthwash.
All this thrills you more than a little, because it means he came here wanting to impress you. Wanting you. Full stop. Underneath that minty sting is a strange, worrisome aftertaste, like something rotten. Your brain fires off an alarm. Stop kissing him. Right now. This thing will make you sick. But his hands nervously slide over your body... and you decide not to worry about it. Instead, you kiss him deeper. He makes a sweet, startled little noise. Your brain is a fucking liar. It occurs to you he's probably never done this before.
When you lace your fingers in his and try to pull one of his gloves off, he rips his hand away.
Don't. That’s the only explanation he gives.
No need to ask if it's a quirk thing or a trauma thing. Judging by how jittery he gets, it's probably both. You remember the way his hands almost float over objects without ever holding them. Maybe his touch is dangerous. Maybe that's why his face looks like that.
Maybe you should learn more about him before things go way too far...
No. It can't be that bad. Now that he's in your arms, everything frightening about him evaporates. He's vulnerable. He's alone. He's shaking a little. Has anyone else ever seen this side of him? You want to keep him all to yourself, just like this.
So what if he has to touch you with gloves on? You've heard of worse quirk-related inconveniences.
It's okay, Tenko. Do you want to keep going?
You put his hands back on you and wait for him to kiss you again. It doesn't take long.
---
You open his pants. He's long and thin, calloused even here. Every part of him feels untouched, unloved. You hold him tight and squeeze.
It doesn't seem to occur to him to please you in return. He looks afraid. Confused. You're sure you scared him earlier with the glove thing. Is this too much? No. He gasps and leans into you. The tiniest, broken please.
He cums in your hand right away, face buried in your shoulder, his eyes wet and hidden.
I have to go, he says. Over and over and over.
It's okay, Tenko.
You know he doesn't want to.

The Wave Village's Todoroki Family
The Wave Village's Todoroki Family by Anakin Nightrider
Enji and Rei were madly in love, and had Touya, who's nickname was Dabi, Fuyumi, or Yumi, Natsuo, or Natsu, and Shoto, or Sho. Yoshino and Teka love their family very much, even if the cost of such a large family caused their entire family to work everyday. Enji was a firefighter, Rei was a flourist, Dabi was an enforcer, Yumi was a school teacher, Natsu was a doctor, Yoshino was a chef, and Teka was his waitress. Shoto decided to become a seamstress.
Getting into UA Academy like his siblings had before was the easiest part of that journey. His roommates, and best friends, Inasa, Tenya, and Hitoshi were all amazing. Inasa wanted to become a carpenter, Tenya an electrician, and Hitoshi a marine biologist. They all worked at a cute little coffee café where they got good pay and worked hard. All of that was wonderful. But, what Shoto could barely handle was catching the attention of a man named Katsuki Bakugo. The CEO of Ground Zero enterprises.
He was going to have a rough time, wasn't he?

For a moment, Tenko was struck by how cute that Sayaka looked when she was blushing. This was not a sight that Tenko saw very often, if at all. The aikido master wouldn't mind if she saw this more side of the idol more, because of how honest she looked. But before they could head over to Tenko's dorm, there was the matter of settling the build. Truth be told, the aikido master couldn't remember who had settle the tab during their previous meeting. Tenko had been hesitant to let Sayaka pay, but if neither of them remembered who had paid last time, perhaps it would be fine to let Sayaka pay this time. "Then I'll enjoy your generosity this time, Sayaka! Really, I'm happy to spend any time with you!" Tenko couldn't wait until Sayaka could see the outfits that the aikido master had spent some much time making. Even if Tenko wasn't paying for the bill itself, she decided to leave a tip for the waitress that had served them their food. The fact that they enjoyed each other's company enough to completely lose track of time definitely made Tenko feel all fuzzy inside.
"I think that's very admirable of you, Sayaka! Still, I hope that you are taking care of yourself as well!" That was perhaps the most direct that Tenko has been at this point. Not that Tenko was the must subtle at the best of times, but she felt it was good to drop all pretense. But any further conversation was dropped when she noticed that in the middle of the conversation, the both of them had finished their food. "We still need to go to my room so that I can give you the outfits that I made for you! So do you want me to pay for the food and get going?" The offer to pay for Sayaka slipped out with Tenko thinking about it that much. Hopefully the idol didn't mind if she had her part of the meal paid. If Sayaka offered to pay for herself, Tenko wouldn't mind. On the other hand, if Sayaka offered to pay for herself, the aikido master would consider if she would refuse or not. She certainly didn't want to impose. Tenko was definitely looking forward to seeing Sayaka try out the clothes that the aikido master made with her own two hands. In the back of her mind, Tenko remembered what she said earlier about how clothes modeling would require stripping down first. The aikido master would have to call on all her training to not let that thought get any further. She liked spending time with Sayaka, and didn't want to make the idol uncomfortable.

How about a V3 talentswap with the hypothetical talents your mother guessed for them in your V3 review?
I went with her first guesses here lol. Except for Miu’s cuz I don’t know how to write Ultimate Bionic Person
Rantaro Amami (Arm Wrestler):
If you look close enough, one of his arms is more toned than the other.
He actually developed a couple of strategies for arm wrestling.
It’s...kinda dumb, but it’s his talent.
Kaede Akamatsu (Cheerleader):
A lot of her classmates thought she was a bit too bubbly.
But that’s part of her job!
That, and being a base, which she was also quite good at.
Kirumi Tojo (Waitress):
While she was suited to serve, she wouldn’t tolerate rudeness.
An order would be filled as effectively without it.
She made sure her classmates knew that.
Angie Yonaga (Wood Carver):
She had a very skillful hand.
A lot of what she made, she sent back to her island for temples.
Though she did have a couple projects of her own.
Tenko Chabashira (Martial Artist):
She’d trained in so many different martial arts from a young age.
Maybe one day she could beat the strongest person in the world!
Or, at the very least, meet her.
Korekiyo Shinguji (Acupuncturist):
Naturally he knew the pressure points to help one relax.
Though...a lot of his classmates wouldn’t really trust him with acupuncture.
Which he supposed was valid, given his appearance.
Miu Iruma (Runner):
Track had always been her sport.
She was one of the fastest runners you would probably every see.
And, her stamina was amazing.
Gonta Gokuhara (Storm Chaser):
It was dangerous, yes, but really cool!
Seeing the storms up close was such a thrill.
And it helped track them so everyone knew when they were coming.
Kokichi Ouma (Escape Artist):
The key was to blend in.
But if it were an actual room or trap to escape from, he could do that, too.
Plus, he was small enough to fit in tight spaces.
Kaito Momota (Astronomer):
The science behind space was just...so cool.
Especially given that everyone is made of stardust.
That’s one of his favorite facts to pepper into conversation.
Tsumugi Shirogane (Craftsman):
Her entire room is filled with DIY stuff.
Making a lot of it helps her get away from her nerves.
So there’s more where that came from.
Shuichi Saihara (Equestrian):
Working with horses was nice.
He had a special sort of bond with the one he rode.
As well as a collection of blue ribbons to prove it.
Maki Harukawa (Reader):
Don’t say a word to her about how involved she may be in a book.
She’s mastered reading and walking at the same time.
She is a bit touchy about her favorites, though, so don’t ask.

The depth of how well you get me is INCREDIBLE. FIVE STARS. Kokichi does fall silent, but ONLY because he doesn't know the lyrics to most her shit yet or the dance moves.
To add some extra laters of brainrot:
In the first year, there was already an inkling of her Musical skill, but because it was the first year nobody really know how deep that skill went - and Himiko was feeling lazy and unfamiliar with everyone, so in the production of Waitress, Kaede was cast as Jenna, Maki as Becky, and Himiko was cast as Dawn. Himiko destroys this role, but the whole production kinda fails because Kokichi is a worm and played Ogie without costume, and just kinda screws the whole thing up. This makes Himiko so mad they get into a fight so bad Kokichi never fucks up a play again.
The second year they realize, oh shit, this girl is our secret weapon, they draft out a great production that has Himiko in the starring or secondary role and THEN Himiko finds out Dr2 class is doing Wicked, and Himiko fucking flips. She burns out like a star and gets so absurdly depressed afterwards that she dips out of the entire production and the V3 class does Hercules. Awesome idea, great casting! Problem: Kaito isn't a fucked up tenor, and Gonta kept forgetting his lines as Zeus. Disaster. The muses were perfect though (Angie, Kaede, Tenko, Tsumugi, and Miu)
The third year though was when everything went perfect. Himiko is over it (not really) (she secretly has a voodoo doll of Mahiru in her house). Kokichi is locked tf in and is actually the one who brings up Beetlejuice. Angie, Miu, and Keebo are ready to make the wildest sfx and props possible. Kokichi told his goons to be backup dancers, and teamed up with Tenko to teach some sick choreography. Result: victory.
I have a headcanon brainworm for DR where I think each class has the resident theatre kids, and the resident final boss theatre nerd who is scary about musicals and shit.
The theatre kid final boss for DR1 I think is Touko, who for one thing probably isn't a big TV fan but a massive stage play fan. I think she'd prefer raunchy musicals and shit, like I think she would beg and scream to be Veronica for her production of Heathers because she's a corny repressed gal who wants to express herself by screaming her heart out.
Dr2 I think has the most theatre kids, with Mahiru and Hiyoko being extremely prominent, with Hiyoko throwing a fit to play Galinda for a local production of Wicked, but I think the actual final boss would be Sonia. Who I think has an understated but deep and intimate knowledge about starring in, running, and directing plays and productions. So without even trying she's better than Hiyoko - who would probably boast loud as fuck about like the 5 musicals she watched, while Sonia watches keenly and silently from the sidelines, knowing she's better than Hiyoko without even trying, as all things should be.
For DRV3 and I believe the actual, absurd hyperfixation level of musical knowledge and the one I'd consider the true final boss of the entire thing: Himiko. I think Himiko both appreciates almost every musical known to man, but also becomes an entirely different person when playing a character in a musical. Like she goes from meek and tired, borderline anemic, to Lydia Deetz in an instant, singing - dancing - everything. Why do I believe this? Because I think it's funny to imagine Himiko dragging her feet everywhere and sleeping like a cat in everything else, to becoming a triple threat the moment she hears the opening horns to Can't Stop the Beat. And also she's already a stage performer, being a magician after all.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I want a Tenko arc!!
Tenko's name is written as 貂子 meaning 'weasel' 貂 'child' 子 individually - so we know for certain that she is a weasel ayakashi specifically (and further indicated by her acquaintances pictured above.) Speaking of weasels in Japanese folklore, there is an interesting saying:
"A kitsune has seven disguises, a tanuki has eight, and a weasel has nine."
This turn of phrase implies that of these three species, the weasel is the most powerful (or is as least the best at fooling humans). And yet! While kitsune and tanuki feature widely in anime, manga and other such media as heavy hitters, weasels are often left out of the equation.
So I'd like for Tenko to have some time in the spotlight and show off how impressive a weasel youkai can be!
(I suppose you could say that Tenko living casually among humans without issue is already an impressive feat, but that's not enough for me I need more!!)

Pancake Night (Day 5 of Momoharu Week)
Prompt: Memories/Dreams
Rating: T
Summary: Coming out of the simulation meant learning how to handle their own ghosts. It was just a matter of time before Shuichi had to ask for help for his.
You can read under the cut or go to my AO3
The bell above the diner jingled, alerting everyone in the vicinity that Kaito and Maki had entered. Maki was already unwrapping her scarf and Kaito was pulling his gloves off. The winter was a little more harsh during the night than it was during the day, but they had gotten a text saying that tonight was Pancake Night, and Kaito tried not to miss any of those if he could. Maki didn’t usually dare come to any of them, since Kokichi was mostly there, but...if anything, if it was Shuichi who requested it, then Maki was for sure coming even when Kaito told her that Kokichi might be there too, considering.
Shuichi normally didn’t request the sacred pancake nights. Like Kaito, he tried to be at every single one of them too, regardless who requested it. Even if they ended on bad terms, or they weren’t considered friends, Shuichi tried to reach out to everyone, and Kaito adored that in his sidekick. It meant that he was growing as a person. It meant that he knew now that it was okay to be vulnerable. He was just a little surprised that Kaede nor anyone else was coming to this.
Then again, Kaito didn’t think Shuichi used the group chat to ask for his or Maki’s appearance. “Yo.” He greeted as he walked over to the table. Maki had already taken off her coat and was folding it in her arms, watching the two boys. Kokichi was sitting next to Shuichi, blowing a paper wrapper from the end of his straw and Shuichi had been in the middle of trying to grab it out of his hands. “You guys already ordered?”
“Aw Momota-chan and HaruMaki showed up to date night. I’m a little disappointed.” Kokichi whined. Kaito had half of the mind to punch him, but Maki had other ideas, already sliding into the booth and giving Kokcihi a stare. It was clear that there was still bad blood between them, despite the simulation. Kaito already put his ghosts to rest, but...that didn’t mean everyone else did. “Awaaahhh! HaruMaki’s scary!” Kokcihi burst into crocodile tears as he clung onto Shuichi.
Kaito took a good look at his sidekick, and he could see Maki’s expression shift as well. He slid into the booth next to her, and he could already tell that Maki was thinking the same thing he was. Ignoring the loudmouth beside Shuichi, he spoke calmly. “You look dead Shuichi.”
“Ah, yeah.” Shuichi didn’t tug down his hat, nor did he try to avert his gaze. He was calmly patting Kokichi’s hand, in mindless thoughtfulness. “It’s…” He trailed off and Kaito nodded encouragingly.
“Pancake night.” Kokichi said, drying his eyes and looking at his hands bored. “You the rules of it.”
The rules of it were simple. Whoever called Pancake Night was the one that was allowed to vent about anything. From the smallest little thing that happened that day, to the biggest most gruesome thing that was in their mind. Some people couldn’t handle the reminders of the game and usually didn’t come to these nights, but...those who did usually were the ones that needed it the most. The last person who requested it was Himiko and she had been...in a very rough state. Kaito was afraid of letting her leave the restaurant. He was going to have to remind himself to call her tomorrow if Shuichi didn’t.
“You look like shit.” Maki decided to cut through the tiptoeing and Shuichi’s hands tightened into fists. “Nightmares? Dreams?”
“A bit of both. It feels ridiculous…”
“Nothing about this is.” Kaito assured. “Just talk to us man. We’re here for you.” He reached over and grabbed Maki’s hand and Maki squeezed slightly. Kokichi looked like he was ready to start up something, but a quick look from Maki froze that instantly.
Shuichi thought for a moment, the silence lingering. It was a good thing since the waitress swung by to get everyone’s drink order as well as the usual double stack of pancakes that were going to be split among them. Kokcihi asked for strawberry and blueberry syrup as always. “I keep going back there.”
“To which part?” Kaito asked, already getting an idea of where this was going.
He wasn't wrong to assume. “Mostly to you and Kokichi’s death.”
Well...that explained why Kokichi was there then. Kokichi didn’t seem to be phased by it. He probably expected it. Kaito on the other hand leaned back into the chair and glanced over at Maki. It was a common conversation between them as well. Maki didn’t talk about her nightmares or dreams, but he knew when she cuddled against him, it was about him. He knew when she went to the gym early morning and before he could even offer to come it was about the plan, about the switch. About confessing her love to him and realizing that it was never going to come true.
It was luck. It was really pure luck that the simulation was what it was. Otherwise, Kaito was going to miss out on so much. Maki was the one that spoke, sharp and cool. “It sucks.”
“Ahaha. Yeah. But I wasn’t trying to make you guys feel guilty or…” Shuichi trailed off. Kaito pursed his lips together, watching his sidekick shuffle through his thoughts. “Or feel like you did wrong. What you two did was...brilliant. I just…”
“Feel guilty.” Kokichi decided to save him from the suffering. “Shumai you’re a lunatic. You’re not supposed to feel guilty about that.”
“You always take more responsibility than you should. You’re going to wind up dead from a heart attack if you keep doing that.” Maki frowned, watching Shuichi with firm red eyes. “You always try to take the guilt when it’s not yours to carry. No wonder you’re not sleeping. How are you sleeping when every time you look around there’s a ghost in the corner.”
“Maki Roll come on.” Kaito frowned at her. “That’s a bit harsh. Shuichi can’t help what his brain comes up with! That’s why we’re here! We just gotta figure out how to change the mindset.”
“Don’t you two ever think about it? Dream about it?” Shuichi asked and it made Kaito freeze.
Kokichi didn’t fare much better. Kaito noticed that the careful mask the trickster wore was falling at the seams. “Of course I don’t.” Kokichi said after a moment. “Why would I dream about something that I did on purpose? Silly beloved.”
Maki made a face at the nickname, but Shuichi rarely reacted to it anymore. It was probably said so much, it lost all meaning. Kaito on the other hand knew that this was important. “Well if Kokichi is going to be a coward about it, then it’s up to me to step up to the plate and be a man about it.” Kaito punched his fists together in his determined gesture and he could feel Maki’s gaze linger on him. Whether it was out of fondness or if she was just exasperated at his antics like usual, Kaito didn’t notice. At the moment, he couldn’t afford to pay attention to that right now. “Yeah I have nightmares.”
Maki may not talk about hers, but she had been across the dining table when he had woken up with air leaving his lungs and seeing stars that were fake and childish linger in behind his eyelids. She was there kneeling in the bathroom, rubbing his back as he lost all contents of his stomach when he felt like he had to be coughing up something. She was there when looking up at the sky was too much and gave him an existential crisis about whether or not he was truly alive or truly dead.
Kaito wasn’t afraid to peel back his layers. “It sucks, like Maki Roll says, but…” he trailed off. “I think the worst part of it is waking up and wondering if you’re really there. There are times I think I should be in a spaceship going to my death, and there’s times I dream about pushing that button.” He glanced at Kokichi. “As annoying as you are, and as much as I don’t mind punching you, I don’t want you dead.”
“Awwww I’m loved.” Kokichi gushed.
“Stop talking.” Maki gave Kokichi a firm glare.
“Kokichi sometimes dreams about the hydraulic press, but…you know how he is.” Shuichi gestured.
“Again. Why would I be bothering any of you about any of this?” Kokichi’s mask once more slipped over his face.
“Because we’re all guilty of something.” Kaito pointed out. “We’re not going to blame you, Kokichi if you have nightmares, but...you’re not what Pancake Night is about right now. We’re trying to focus on Shuichi.”
“N-no it’s my fault.” Shuichi held his hands up. “Maybe my nightmare was a-”
“Stop.” Maki said forcefully and Shuichi slumped back into his seat. Kaito glanced at his girlfriend who was watching their best friend. “You don’t get to take their sins. What they did is on them.” She pointed at Kokichi first, and then Kaito. “Believe me. I already had my words with Kaito about how I felt. We’re just waiting for you to snap. You’re too mild-mannered. You don’t get angry often enough. When we ended Danganronpa, that was the first time I’ve actually seen you livid.”
“You should’ve seen it when he told me about his Ultimate Talent. Got right up and angry. I never thought he’d bite!” Kaito commented.
“You made fun of my beloved?! For shame Momota-chan!” Kokichi placed a hand over his heart and dramatically fell against Shuichi’s shoulder. “I should have my men come after you for that you know.”
Maki paused for a moment, clearly annoyed that she had gotten off track with where she was going with her story. Finally she spoke, placing her arms against the table and leaning in. “Look, Shuichi.” She stated. “I get why you had Kaito and Kokichi come here. You want to apologize to them. Like it’s going to make the guilt and the nightmares go away. Himiko called Tenko the other day and they had a long conversation about the very same thing you’re trying to talk about now.” Both Kaito and Kokichi clamped their mouths shut, watching Maki and Shuichi. “You’re not reacting correctly.”
“Not…” Shuichi gave Maki a cool look. “I was supposed to be smarter than that. I ruined their plans.” He was starting to tick off the flaws off of his fingers. “I couldn’t think of who was under the hydraulic press until too late, I couldn’t figure out that it was Tsumugi who was roleplaying as the mastermind. I’m a detective! A useless one at that!”
“Is...that what you really think?” Kokichi asked.
Kaito already heard this once before. “Shut up.” He knew he was getting glares from Kokichi and from Shuichi and decided to raise his voice a little. “Where’s the confidence that you had when you ended Danganronpa?! Come on, man. You know how to keep your chin up! Look at what you were able to do! You caused them to bankrupt. There’s no more killing game. No more hospitalized kids. I know you get letters from previous players who are thanking you on bended knee and yeah, you deserve that kind of recognition! You did everything you could with all of the information that you were provided. I made you my sidekick for a reason right?! You did just fine in that trial. Sure it had it’s hiccups, but we’re all human. We can’t plan for every little thing.”
Shuichi blinked at him as though it was the first time he was truly seeing Kaito. Kaito decided to point one more thing out to him, just to be on the safe side. “Besides, you two were supposed to look out for each other. You made sure to help Maki realize that it wasn’t going to be her fault that it was going to happen. I was already dying. Kokichi was already dying. There was just...someone was going to die. We chose the way we knew it should go.”
“I’ve been telling him that, but my beloved doesn't believe me.” Kokichi glanced at his nails, offhandedly. “I sure hope he believes you.”
“N-no I belive you both it’s just-”
“The brain sucks.” Maki interjected. “We get it. You need to call these nights more often, Shuichi. Before you look like you’re about to fall out of your seat.”
“Told you!” Kokichi singsonged.
X
Leaving pancake night meant going back through the briskness of the winter’s cold chill. It was nearing dawn now, and Kaito felt exhaustion settle bone deep. They waved Kokichi and Shuichi off at a corner and now Maki and Kaito were walking side by side together as they headed back to their apartment. Kaito was grateful that they chose someplace close to the city to live. It was weird to see it dead without all the people around, the neon reflecting against the windows and streets with a will to entice them to look. There weren’t white noised conversations that could drown out the soft hum of the cars or the thoughts that were currently whirling in his mind.
Kaito stuffed his hands into his pockets as he thought about what had just transpired. He knew that Shuichi was suffering. He thought about his nightmares, about his own dreams, and he thought about all the good that came out of the killing game too. He should’ve mentioned that. Maybe he could text it to Shuichi, or maybe if the next time the conversation came to light, he could push him towards that direction too. There had been so much good that came out of something terrible, and bloodsoaked. He looked over a Maki who was adjusting her scarf to keep herself warm. He reached down and gently took the scarf from her hands, adjusting it for her and tightening it.
Maki stayed quiet and let him do as he pleased. When he was satisfied that she would be kept warm, he reached and took a gloved hand into his, intertwining their fingers together. “You’re thinking.” Maki said, calm as snow that was slowly drifting on the breeze. “About what?”
“Oh...just wondering if I’m dreaming right now.” Kaito commented.
Maki’s expression turned just slightly annoyed. “You’re an idiot. You’re not sleep walking.”
“No. But tonight’s been a good night.” Kaito grinned at her. “Even if we had to go to Pancake Night. It was a good night.”
“How...was it good?” Maki huffed, her breath turning into fog as she looked up at him. Red eyes held curiosity.
“I was thinking about what Shuichi said about the nightmare, but...it wasn’t all that bad. I feel kind of bad that I didn’t tell him that. There were a lot of things that were good that came from it. If you know where to look.” Kaito explained.
Maki seemed to understand his train of thought, for she looked away immediately and pulled her hand from his grip so that she could grab her pigtail and start tugging at it furiously. The scarf hid the pout and puffed cheeks, but Kaito had that expression memorized. He knew that she was flustered and she knew that he was talking about her and Shuichi and all the moments in between.
He knew that not everyone focused on the moments in between. The nightmares were louder than their hopes and their dreams and their passions. Kaito wondered if maybe he should start trying to encourage them to remember what made them all Ultimates to begin with. Even if their talents were fake, the passion that they had behind them was real. It was easily demonstrated with himself, Shuichi, and Kokichi. They just needed the rest of the class to follow. Though, Kaito did wish that Maki wouldn’t follow an assassin's way of life as her passion or goal. Though he couldn’t blame her if she did.
“That was cheesy. Gross and cheesy.” Maki sighed after a moment, letting her pigtail go. Her words didn’t mean much as she reached and took Kaito’s hand back into hers, lacing their fingers back together in a simple lock and grip. “You have other Pancake Nights to do that. Shuichi’s on your phone too. You have methods of reaching him, if you’d just take them.”
“We should get back into training.” Kaito mused thoughtfully. “Have him work out more with us. That’ll get rid of the nightmares for sure.”
“No that just represses them.” Maki was exasperated and fond. “Though it might help him get some sleep.”
“God he needs that.”
“You need that too.” Maki replied bluntly and Kaito laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. “You should be taking your own advice.”
“I know, Maki Roll, I’m not good at that am I?” Kaito grinned and Maki wondered if he took anything seriously. Kaito just couldn’t let other people worry about him for too long. “How do you fight off your nightmares?”
“They’re not real.” Maki replied simply. “I’m here now. I’m not going to waste another second or another minute trying to fight something that’s not true.”
“No dreams to counter it?”
“This is my dream.” Maki pointed at him and then pointed at their hands. “Even if it is messy and full of nightmares and waking up to cold beds. I wanted this. So I’m going to stick with you and stick with us. Assassins don’t get to have happy endings, Kaito. As far as I’m concerned, this is a happy ending that’s lasted me a long time.”
“Oh.” Kaito’s cheeks burned a bright red, but his grin was toothy and shining. “Wow, Maki Roll, I didn’t think you’d get this passionate.”
“Shut up.” Maki tried to tug her hand away from him, but Kaito squeezed instead. She relented after a moment, squeezing back painfully, making him wince. “What about you? How do you fight your nightmares off?”
“I have you.”
“I’m scarier than your nightmare.” Maki deadpanned.
“No that’s not what I was trying to say!” This time Kaito really did let her go. “I was saying that I have you. You chase away my nightmares just by being there with me. By supporting me. You’re a true sidekick Maki Roll, and an awesome girlfriend. You mean the world to me. I’m not going to let some measly nightmare get me down, when I got the girl of my dreams supporting me! Anyone else would be jealous.”
Once more Maki’s cheeks puffed but she didn’t reach for her pigtails this time clearly too flustered to do anything. “You’re still an idiot.”
“Whatever you say, Maki Roll. Whatever you say.” Kaito reached and gently wrapped his arm around her shoulders and brought her close to him as they headed back to their apartment.

Chapter 2: The reunion
Warning: Angst, mentions of Blood, past abuse and street violence.
Chapter 2 of 4? (I honestly don’t know how long this shit might end up)
Read it on Ao3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/chapters/53109988?show_comments=true&view_full_work=false#comment_275346271
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The week had passed too fast and not fast enough. The three sibbling felt like they were going up on a roller coaster and when they reached the drop, they knew it could either go great or bad.
Fuyumi, always the optimistic, was basically shaking with excitement since Saturday. She had watched every single video Tomura had uploaded ever and sent to their group chat a couple of videos of Touya appearing in the background. She also checked constantly on their instagram account. She was acting like a teenager with a new phone.
Natsuo, on the other hand, was looking more scared as the days went by. At first, he was mad. Why hadn’t Touya came himself? Why did he have to send his roommate? Did he even want to come back? He stopped being mad after, surprisingly, a call with Shouto. Apearently, Fuyumi had voice her concerns to Shou about him and the little shit called him. Shouto just told him that if he didn’t want to go, he didn’t have to and him, being the loving and caring big brother that he was, told him to shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. The conversation ended with Shouto asking him if he was really ready to lose Touya again.
After that, Natsou sucked up his pride and decided to copy Fuyumi’s actions and learn everything he could about “Dabi”. Unlike Fuyumi, he found a lot more than her. He found out he presented his new art every friday on the bar from the card and you could book an appointment with him; that he knew a make-up instagramer by the name of Toga-chan; and that he had made some graffities around town under an alias.
His life had been pretty decent. And when he arrived at that conclusion, he knew his answer.
No. He wasn’t ready to let him go again.
But what if Touya didn’t want to come back? What if, he didn’t want to be found?
The youngest sibbling was trying to hold it together. Unknown to his other sibblings, he had had a relationship with Touya. It was based on secrets, yeah. But it was their secret. It was a secret, that Touya hid him everytime he could. It was a secret, that Touya would tend to his wounds when Fuyumi and Mom couldn’t. It was a secret, that every night Touya would stay with him till he fell asleep. It was a secret, that everytime they were made to train together Touya would never hurt him even if it meant receiving father’s hate afterwards. It was a secret, that one morning, as he woke up, he saw Touya grab his thing and walk out the door and did nothing to stop him.
When Fuyumi dropped him at UA, he felt like he could breath again. It was like being back on their father’s house. His relationship with Touya was secret from his father because he didn’t want to get hurt and it was secret from his sibblings because he didn’t want to hurt them. How would they react if they knew that he was the reason Touya left? (He was pretty sure if Touya hadn’t cared so much about him, his father would have left him alone) What would they think if they learnt that he just let him walk away? That he said nothing to stop him? That he didn’t cry for him to stay or even asked him why he was leaving?
He just recently started to spend time with his sibblings, he didn’t want to lose them, too.
On Friday, when Fuyumi came to pick him up. He couldn’t hold it anymore. He didn’t want to keep secrets from his sibblings. He wanted them to be a happy family. So he told Fuyumi on the car and then Natsuo on the apartment.
Fuyumi took it well albeit sad, she told him she knew what Touya did for him and that she was happy he had happy memories to remember him by. Natsuo took it better, he reasured him that it wasn’t his fault Touya left, their dad was the problem and that he knew Touya visited him at night since he was look out for dad.
The next day, they were tense all the day. At eight, they were all showered and ready to go to the grill. They all got in the car and went in silence. The place looked like a ‘50′s dinner from western movies, and not many people were there. There were only a car and a motorbike parked outside, not including theirs.
Entering the place, they saw them on the third booth, Shigaraki and Touya were sitting together. He was there. He was really there. All tattooed and pierced and brused. Wearing a white t-shirt and black pants with a black jacket. And when he noticed them he chocked on what he was eating which made Tomura turn and see them.
There was a sort of pause between them, as if that exact moment became trapped in time. They were realizing now that all this time there was this invisible leash tied around the three younger sibbling that prevented them from reaching their big brother, but now, it was broken, cut. It wasn’t there. There was still a sort of tension. One that screamed danger and worriness.
“TOUYAAAA!!!!”
Fuyumi moved first. She threw herself at the older man and started full out crying and repeating his name. That snapped the other two out of their trance. Natsuo and Shoto followed Fuyumi and went to Touya´s other side, Shigaraki had moved to let them into the booth. Touya didn’t move, nor did he return the hug back.
With Fuyumi on his left, Shouto on his right and Natsuo sandwiching all of them together, the first thing they heard their brother say after 10 years of not seeing him and beliving he was dead was: “What the fuck are you doing here?”
They all let go of him and Fuyumi answered him. “Your roommate, Shigaraki contacted us...”
“What!?” Touya shouted at Shigaraki.
“Touya, It´s fine.” Natsuo said as he tried to calm him. “Dad is...”
“Shut up!” He screamed again looking at Natsuo for a moments to then turn back to his roomamate. “You called them!? Contacted them!?” Shigaraki nodded slowly while the other three only watched as their brother lost it. “And in what fucking moments did I ever showed any sign of wanting to see them again? IT’S BEEN TEN YEARS, TENKO. IF I WANTED TO SEE THEM AGAIN, I WOULD’VE DONE IT MYSELF!”
With that, he stood up and forcefully left the booth. He grabbed two helmets that were in the seats behind them and stormed out. Shigaraki followed him, calling his name. “Touya, WAIT!”
Fuyumi was crying, Natsuo too and Shouto looked through the window as his brother and Shigaraki screamed for a while until Touya left in the motorbike they saw on the parking lot.
Shigaraki returned to a table with three crying sibblings. The girl was crying heavy tears, the young one rubbed a couple of drops before they had a chance to fall and the middle one was covering his eyes but you could notice the wet path of tears going through his face.
“Sorry” Shigaraki said. “I didn’t know he would react like that.”
Fuyumi took a deep breath and turned to Tomura. “It’s fine. Thanks to you, we know he is alive and...”
“Why did you contact us?” Shouto interrupted her and rudely asked the grey haired man. “He is obviously okay without us... so why call us?”
Shigaraki sat in the booth again and signed the waitress for the check. “Even if he wants to deny it, he does want you back in his life. A couple of years ago, your brother needed money to open up his tattoo shop and he asked a... very bad guy for a loan. He ended up in a gang and did a bunch of crimes for it. The guy is in jail now, but he is afraid that if he gets out and seaches for revenge, or if any other enemy he made wants to hurt him, you wil be in the middle of the crossfire.”
The waitress gave Tomura his check and after paying, they all went out of the dinner. Fuyumi, that noticed her brother had left Shigaraki stranded, offered to drive him home. After a little of convincing, Tomura accepted, and they all got in the car.
Shouto, that was in the back with Tomura broke the silence after a while.
“How did you meet Touya?” He asked.
Shigaraki answered without looking at him, still staring out the window. “The same way we met all of our friends. We were all part of the gang. I was there first.”
“Who did you work for?” He asked again
Tomura looked at him for a moment and then went back to the window. Without blinking, he answered “One for all”
The car stopped abruptly at a red light, making a screching sound. Natsuo and Shouto were staring at him with their eyes wide while Fuyumi apologised and started moving again when the light changed to green.
One for all was the ruler of all the underground and black market of Japan. He had been for many years since the name One for all was a tittle passed down from one person to the other. He was the most dangerous man alive. You had to be desperate to seek him out and once you owed him something, you were in his net forever. And a couple of months back, the current holder was arrested. He took down almost all of down town Kamino with him, but he was lock down for good.
“Wha...How did you ended up with him?” Natsuo asked this time. His voice barely a whisper, as if afraid the man itself would be summoned by saying his name.
“Nothing. I was his heir.” They all gasped. “My grandmother came closer than anyone to bring him down. So, he killed my whole family as a message and took me to become the next One for all.”
“Shigaraki...”Fuyumi started to talk but he stopped her.
“It’s in the past now. I moved on. Touya helped me a lot with that. He showed me how to live and let me see how much I was being controlled by him. I still can’t belive he’s my boyfriend. For now” He whispered the last part. The sibbling didn’t know what happened when he was outside with Touya, what they said to each other, but by his tone, it was not good.
They arrived at Tomura’s home. Fuyumi thanked him again for what he did for them, and asked him if he could please take care of Touya. Shigaraki nodded and left the car. He noticed that once he came out of the vehicole, the light from their bedroom turned off. Touya could act as a hardass all he wanted, but on the inside he was a softie. He waved the Todoroki´s goodbye and watched as they drove away.
‘Well, that ended expectacularly’ He thought as he climbed the fire escape. He sent Kurogiri a text, telling him that they weren’t going to make it to the bar and that they would explain to the gang tomorrow.
As he stood in the hallway, he noticed the couch had a pillow and a thick blanket. He tried to open the door to the bedroom and found it locked. Sighting, he knocked on it but got no responce from inside.
“Are we really not gonna talk about this?” He asked as he leaned into the door. He didn’t get a responce again. “Fine.”
He grabbed the pillow and the blanket and went to his filming room. He could understand not wanting to see him and vanishing him to the couch, but that thing was torture to sleep in without his boyfriend´s warm body there.
That night was a long one for both of them. Tomura trying to sleep with guilt and without his personal heater (A.K.A his boyfriend) and Dabi crying himself to sleep. Because right now, he felt like the guy that couldn’t do anything against his father to save his family, like the kid that ran away to save his skin and only his, like the teenager that spent his first night as a runaway sleeping in the train station’s bathroom. That night he felt like Touya again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The three sibblings, after dropping Shigaraki, went to a drive-through nearby and then went home. They food was flavourless. Or at least it felt that way.
This Saturday, Natsuo went back to campus. He didn’t care about the time and Fuyumi didn’t make a fuss about it. She understood that he needed time. They all did. So while she cleaned, Natsuo took his things and left. Fuyumi only told him to text her when he got there.
Shouto went to his room and simply laid in his bed starring at his ceiling. He used to do this when he waited for Touya when he was a child. The moment Touya came throught his door, he used to belive everything was going to be okay, better. It was now a habbit of his. He remembers, the first night after Touya left, he waited all night for him.
He never came.
After what felt like an eternity, Shouto got up and went to the kitchen to... he didn’t know what for. But he needed to do something. Anything.
The kitchen wasn’t empty though. Fuyumi was sitting in the floor crying against the fridge while she holded a small muffin with a lit up candle. She was sobbing, tears falling heavily onto the floor and her clothes. It was a quiet cry. But the Todoroki family had long ago learnt that was the best way to cry in a house so cold and deathly quiet like theirs. Guess moving out of there didn’t exactly stopped it.
“Happy Birthday, Touya” Fuyumi said between sobs and blew out the candle.
Shouto enterred the kitchen and sat down next to his sister, pulling her into a hug. The two cried together and for the first time ever since they moved to the apartment, the two, brother and sister, felt like they were chocking.
They felt as if they weren’t in the apartment anymore. They were back in that house, where all family dinners were awkard and silent, where the walls had screams stucked on them, where blood and tears had stained the floor permanently.
The place where in the end, only Shouto and Fuyumi were left. No family, no happiness, no hope. Only them and the echoes of boots stomping on the tatami floor.
They were there crying, alone, scared. For that moment, they felt as if they were waiting for the inevitable. For Enji to appear through the door.

Ghost in the Attic
Ghost in the attic by FallingBackwards
Kurogiri liked his life, thank-you-very-much. He lived in the bell tower of the abandoned church with the crumbling walls, flooded basement and moss-covered headstones. He liked being known as the urban legend, the mist that takes food and drink and leaves money. He had a decent job as a bartender off the island, it paid like crap but the island was cheap. At least there was a pretty waitress with green hair who didn't give him dirty looks. He did not like it when the people started fixing up his ‘house’.

NaoMight stuff: BNHA bits
Summary: Technically these were supposed to be for NaoMight week but they were too short and I really didn't have much else so here they are as bits and pieces.
First Meeting/Pining
"All Might-sama… what… who did this to you?!"
"I did it to myself. The catalyst is long gone, but I was not in my right mind when this happened. I was not the Symbol of Peace."
"Nevermind that, you're as human as the rest of us. Stay down!" Naomasa snapped. He recoiled a few seconds later, at All Might's wry grin.
"I'm sorry. I just… stay still. Eyes open. Breathe for me. But keep going. This will be investigated."
"Sometimes, I recall how we first met and I can't help but think that was the day I fell in love with you."
"The day you met me? We were each a wreck in our own right, what did you possibly see in me?"
"Same thing I see now."
Holiday/Weather
"You don't do so great in the cold."
"You're damn right I don't, so which one of your skyforsaken bosses thought it was a good idea to drag me out at three in the morning?"
"Relax, Yagi. I'll take you home after this and you can wrap yourself around the heater and pray for hot chocolate."
"Which I'll be making later on. With milk."
"Just might have to stick around, then."
Comfort/Home
"Don't move." Came a sleepy voice.
Naomasa squirmed at the loss of contact but quickly found himself encased in arms the size of his head.
"Did you shift just now?" He yawned.
"Nightmare." His boyfriend admitted. "Not worth the brains, Worrywart."
"I worry just fine, all things considered."
"It's midnight, love. Go back to sleep."
Family/Alternate Universe
"You'll marry me someday." Yagi informed his partner.
"We have two kids, three apartments, and we bought so much stuff together, half the time we can't figure out whose it is. What more do you want?"
"That's not what I mean and you know it."
"I do." Naomasa snorted. "And my answer remains the same."
"It's not safe, you say. What if it was?"
What if we made it safe?
"That's not it. We could make it safe."
"Then what-?"
"I know fuck all about being married."
"Like you said, we have two kids, three apartments, and a bunch of shared stuff. There's just more paperwork involved." Naomasa groaned at that.
"Stars above-." He mumbled through a jaw-cracking yawn.
"I'll handle the paperwork."
"I still don't know what to do."
"Do you like how we do things now?"
"What?"
"Nao… okay, I get it. You need more coffee."
"Yes." Naomasa snorted. "To all three of those. But is it really that easy?"
"It could be."
The waitress set down a fresh pot of coffee, that Naomasa immediately snatched up, poured, and guzzled down.
"Sorry, I need to be awake for this." He admitted to the waitress. "Pretty sure he just proposed to me and I have no idea what to do now."
"Are you okay with that?" The waitress pondered.
"We've talked about it. I'm not opposed."
"Then you should tell him what you want. And whether you say yes or no, I've got your next meal."
Pride/Freedom
"I'm glad you made it."
"You're getting honored for a sting op that you basically ran yourself. I wouldn't miss it for the world."
Safety and Happy Endings
It starts like this: "Tenko, where is your brother?!"
But it ends much nicer.
Out With Friends
"Aizawa-kun? Good to see you, my man. Are you with someone?"
"Mic is running late from his show and Midnight is bringing Ms. Joke and some of her friends. Would you like to join us?"
The two shared a vague look before Naomasa nodded.
"If you don't mind." He grinned, plopping Yagi down in a chair before settling in himself.
"I am tired, not inept." Yagi grumbled as he mashed his face into his boyfriend's coat.
"What brings you two out so late in the night?" Aizawa wondered.
"Yagi wrung a proposal out of me while I was half asleep in a coffee shop and now we're celebrating."
Aizawa's eyes glittered in a way that Yagi wasn't too sure about. In a villain, that look was manic and meant bad things to come. On Aizawa, it meant he knew something Yagi didn't. Or was planning something.
"Congratulations, and many well-wishes to you." He chirped as he tilted his glass towards the pair.
"Congrats to what?"
Midnights literally popped out of nowhere, along with Ms. Joke and her entourage.
"Yeah, Shota, who's got your attention?"
"Yagi is a coworker of mine and he proposed to his partner today."
That set off a round of squeals and hugs that Yagi had no way out of. When he looked up, Aizawa had a trickster's grin and was whispering the same to a newly arrived Yamada.
At least Yamada controlled his Quirk. Yagi didn't need the whole city knowing his name.

MOUTH TO MOUTH FOR REAL THIS TIME!!!??!
Ok so. My most-desired options are thus:
1. Mao performs mouth to mouth
2. Tenko makes a surprise appearance and saves Nanoka from the water with the help of her weasel friends
3. Natsuno makes a surprise appearance and shows that earth can beat water after all
4. Otoya performs mouth to mouth because lolllllll also he is with her still
Part of me is hoping Mao fucking drowns this week so Nanoka has to give him mouth to mouth. Or despite her new power up, Nanoka is overtaken by the cursed god and SHE drowns, so then Mao gives her mouth to mouth—
PLEASE JUST STICK THEIR MOUTHS TOGETHER TAKAHASHI.
